So even though I've had this book on my kindle for quite a while, I'm only now just getting around to reading it. I know that it seems to be a popular one.

One chapter in, and I'm less than impressed. It already has the feel of a book that's going to be full of pseudo-history and Wicca based beliefs (even though the author has multiple times stated that the path of the green witch is not Wiccan)

I'll keep going to see if my assumptions are wrong and to see if the practical information is at least useful.

This is a really authentic account of an experienced witch who doesn’t do spirit running into a malicious spirit.   You should watch it, especially, I think, if you don’t do spirit work.

One of the biggest arguments I see in the magic community is over whether you need to have protections on your house - whether protections are needed.  And the deep answer always is: you only need protections when you need them.   But if you need them (and you don’t have them) life is going to get really rough for a while until you figure out how to clean up that mess.

The dream was framed as like a vintage fantasy film (from like the 60s or something). It was sort of like a prequel to the king arthur myths I guess? The king was Ulfric Pendragon and it was a frozen wasteland, and he was very scary and evil and had an ice throne, and the Green Witch, who can fly around traditional witch style but with the help of the wind, was being all persecuted for being a witch and stuff, so she was going to these polar bear guys for help, and that's about all I remember
