From first glance you can see he's looking for something, maybe trying to size Twilight's hits up if he ever has to fight him?

War's isn't looking at him at all. He's still looking around him, checking logs and the like.

Filled with suspicion

We know war's has experienced his men turning on him. Hyrule warriors did that for us. The angry look on his face tells me he's thinking of that. He's thinking that he may have to keep a closer eye on Twilight now.

Then there's Wind

You cant tell me this isnt an attempt at him trying to look like Warriors. The raised eyebrow? The arms, I'm convinced that he had his arms crossed during this questioning. Mainly cause of this

Not sure if this is more of a theory or a head canon, but I think Iroh and Azula’s apparent mutual animosity is directly linked to Lu Ten’s death, and I think there’s evidence to support this.

In the beginning of Zuko Alone, Azula doesn’t have any apparent anger towards Iroh, she just seems to think he’s a dope. “His Royal Tea-Loving Kookiness,” as it were.

Iroh similarly seems to have no ill will towards Azula in his letter, even though he doesn’t really have a good bead on what kind of toys she would like.

At this point, they seem like they’re not close, but they certainly don’t hate each other.

However…

All this seems to change after they receive the letter that Lu Ten has died. The next thing Azula says about Iroh is that he is a disgrace for not getting revenge for Lu Ten’s death and for coming home crying instead of “burning Ba Sing Se to the ground.”

And Iroh later says that she’s crazy, and seems to perceive her as cold and cruel.

Now, to preface: I believe that Azula was deeply attached to Lu Ten. Other people have pointed out that Zuko has “middle child energy.” I agree, because Lu Ten would have been the big brother in their relationship… and Azula probably worshipped the ground he walked on.

And so when Lu Ten died, what else would a child whose father would obviously never allow to have her feelings do except find a scapegoat?

So I think when Lu Ten died, not only did she blame Iroh for A) getting Lu Ten killed and B) not getting revenge for his death, but she did it to his face — which, of course, would have hurt Iroh’s feelings (while also exacerbating the feelings of guilt he already had). Thus creating bad blood.

Azula holds onto this for years, not only still acting salty towards Iroh when we first meet her in season 2, but also suggesting to her father in the finale that he *checks notes*

Burn Ba Sing Se to the ground

And that is, in turn, why she is so devastated by being eft behind in said mission — because this is her revenge for Lu Ten; the thing she believes will bring her closure.

Which is a long winded approach to saying that Azula needs her own Southern Raiders style story where she learns the power of forgiveness and gets real closure and she and Iroh forgive each other

Ok I do have a question about that lol. I haven’t finish HW and I always wondered why the great fairy trapped warriors in a bottle? Was it to fight? Or was it more mischievous than that?

Disclaimer: I have not actually played Hyrule warriors I’m just obsessed with it and have watched all the cutscenes plus various bits and read pretty much evety wiki entry on this game there is

Anyways! So the Great Fairy is actually an alternate weapon moveset that’s used by Link, during which you basically play as the great fairy while Link spends (nearly) all his time in the bottle. On paper, it seems like it’s solely for fighting, but if you look at how the great fairy looks at Link...

I mean, she doesn’t actually do anything. But Link looks so uncomfortable the entire time; when the great fairy dumps him out to do a special attack or whatever they’re called, he looks all nervous (maybe even scared?) while the great fairy is just laughing and smiling.

And when you clear a stage? He’s practically screaming discomfort, he literally jumps when the great fairy floats next to him.

So yeah, Link doesn’t like it. It may just be to fight, but... yeesh. Great fairy is uncomfy with a capital U.

Ok I’m making a post on my thoughts about Four in the recent update because I’ve had time to think about it. First of all, I don’t think he particularly hates dark magic, I think it’s more like he hates all unknown magic. Yeah obviously he’s wary of dark magic (he’s seen what it’s done to Vaati and Shadow) but there have been many cases where he’s been wary of light magic too.

This panel from the too small for the sword comic and his distrust at the master sword’s purifying power specifically come to mind. He’s afraid of the shadow crystal but he also doesn’t trust the master sword to do its job, at least not in the way that everyone thinks it will. He’s learned that light magic can be just as harmful as dark magic through his adventures. The four sword clearly has left a permanent mark on his mental state (evidenced by his recent splitting and his advice to Twilight about finding unity, it’s something he’s struggled with). Also, if headcannon’s are to be believed, then the first time he trusted light magic, Minish magic, it left a permanent mark on him by leaving him significantly shorter than the average hylian. The only magic he trusts is the magic he’s used himself on his adventures (ie. moon pearl) or magic that’s scared him so bad he can’t see it getting worse (ie. four sword).

TLDR: Four’s afraid of unknown magic not dark magic specifically, Shadow stans (me) stop freaking out.
