alright, i’ll try to make a quick mix with this two topics i brought up: after a stressful day the only thing heeseung needs is you. and he is the one who, while all the members are fast asleep, he’s still in the practice room. so he arrives at home CRAVING for you. however, when he sees you already asleep — except he can still see you tried to wait for him to get home because you are without a blanket covering you and your feet named — he just chuckle and gets underneath the blanket and covers you with it too.
and well, since he doesn’t have the opportunity to see your face every single second, he just lays on bed and stares at you with a grin, realising how lucky he is. and, if you wake up somehow, the late night kisses will make sure you’re back asleep. even more awake
‘the watching you sleep’ thing also counts in the morning! when heeseung wakes up to get ready and go to work, he makes sure he sets his alarm a bit earlier so he can enjoy watching you sleep. your cute snores are the sweetest melody he has ever heard. — can’t finish this without mentioning ( even though is not mentioned above ) the way he snuggles his head onto your neck when you wake up before he can entirely appreciate the view of your pretty face, feeling shy but happy you could give him some cuddles before he leaves to work.
jongseong : humming a sweet melody to help you sleep
having troubles to sleep was something common in your life, even before jongseong came into your life. always waking up in the middle of the night, having a plenty of nightmares, or sometimes not even closing your eyes. however, jongseong didn’t know about this before, until the day he saw you up at three in the morning and asked what you were doing. and when you simply told him you were having trouble to sleep, he knew he had to do something about it.
so one day he knew you had a stressful week and you had to have a great night of sleep, he spooned you on bed and placed sweet kisses onto your jaw and temples, starting to hum a calm melody. that melody was so calming that you were already fast asleep in two minutes — and even snoring because of how tired you were, but he didn’t care; he just wanted to see the love of his life resting properly and peacefully.
conclusion: whenever he sees you having troubles to sleep, he cuddles you and hums a sweet melody to you; without forgetting to place a soft kiss on your cheek, forehead or lips before you fall asleep. and, surprisingly, it always worked, becoming a part of his night routine: make you sleep tight in his arms.
jaeyun : watching you get ready & cuddling with you ( feat. layla )
your boyfriend just loves watching you get ready to go out with him, knowing he will show off his pretty baby. even though he says he will still find you pretty with whatever you’re wearing — even saying you would look pretty with a pickle costume —, jaeyun’s eyes shine brightly when he sees you wearing a dreamy or flowy dress, especially when he knows he was the one who bought it for you.
and oh gosh, he loves watching you apply lipstick as well, asking for a kiss right after you applied it. he doesn’t care if his lips are sticky because of the glossy lip oil you applied or how red and swollen his lips look after kissing your red coloured lips. “i’ll fix your lipstick for you baby.” jaeyun would say with a embarrassed grin after smudging your hard work ( applying red lipstick ).
jaeyun is a clingy boyfriend, so he loves cuddling you. it could be on the sofa or on bed, he just wants to have you by his side. tapping the sofa twice to call layla while you were already laid — melting into a smile watching this scene because of how happy you were with your little family. and then, after layla lays down on the sofa — on you guys feet — jaeyun knew you were dying to finally cuddle with him, so your boyfriend pets layla’s head — placing a kiss on the same spot. “my baby is so cute.” he giggled after placing a kiss onto layla’s head, laying himself on the sofa to hug you. “hi my other baby.” and finally he smashes his lips onto yours.
sunghoon : back hugs in the morning & having his meals w you
as much as sunghoon is not really into physical touch, he absolutely loves how intimate back hugs in the morning are. and i’m not JUST talking about bed back hugs, but back hugs at the kitchen while you make breakfast — because mostly of the time sunghoon don’t stay in the same position while he’s asleep — just hits different. his nose detects the smell of fresh pancakes being made and he immediately goes downstairs in silence to surprise you with a hug. even though he hugs you like this every time, you always gasp and turn your head, being met with two sleepy eyes and cute pursed lips. sunghoon is most likely to tell you to keep your attention on whatever you’re making, but it’s hard when your boyfriend starts placing soft kisses on your shoulder and cheek; snuggling his nose onto your neck afterwards.
another thing sunghoon just ugh loves and gets all giddy is having his meals with you. i can’t explain it very well or make a long explanation why he likes it, but i think it just makes him feel loved in some kinda way? like, he knows he usually isn’t the most touchy person, so when he sees you still love and cares about him makes him feel happy, feeling like he is accepted by the way he is and how he shows he love — like he doesn’t have to force himself to be someone he isn’t just to make you feel butterflies? anyways, having his meals with you just makes sunghoon’s days more enjoyable, and that was a fact.

A Quiet Love
Sorry for the lack of updates. Been very busy with schoolwork and fell sick today. Still, here's my latest need to cuddle with Astarion.
Oh I also went to Anime Impulse at Seattle and gosh that was fun. Bought an Astarion print and a standee to start my Astarion shrine in my cupboard, bought a wooden magnet carving of a rly cute egg sushi, bought some stuff for my friends back home too.
Summary: You have a nightmare and Astarion chases it away in his own way.
Ragged breaths tear through you as you run through the trees, clutching your bleeding side with one hand and wiping away your sweat with the other. You can hear the shouts of your pursuers, hear the thundering hooves of the horses some of them are riding, all of which spur your feet onwards in spite of the screams from your muscles.
Your head spins and you nearly fall over. You won’t last long in this chase, they will catch and torture you before executing you in front of the whole town, exactly as the oracle had predicted. Still, if that is your destiny, you’re not about to just roll over and let them have you. If they want you, they are going to have to work for it.
You stumble in a zigzag pattern, darting in and out of your pursuers’ sight and hear their hollers of frustration, causing you to grin. Your pursuers are terrible at their job if they can’t even catch a wounded target. You nearly laugh out loud, stopped only by the blood that bubbles up your throat when you try.
Even so, they inevitably catch up to you. With how your vision keeps giving way, there is no other outcome, but you continue to be defiant, resisting their capture even as the black spots worm their way in.
“Come on, scared of injured prey?” You cough, sending a bloody grin their way. Your pursuers move closer, encircling you but they maintain their distance, much to your amusement. You can feel your lifeblood leaving your body, you won’t last much longer and yet they’re still so afraid of you.
Your fingers curl, ready to fight as hard as you can before they take you when a fireball incinerates half the pursuers, leaving nothing but blackened ash. A war cry follows suit, revealing a tiefling with one horn and a githyanki warrior charging into the fray swinging their weapons which takes out most of the remaining pursuers.
Your gaze flicks about the battlefield, looking for a particular pale elf but you don’t see him amidst the chaos of it all. One of your remaining pursuers, however, spots you and moves in from behind, gladius primed to strike but a dagger plunges into his neck before he gets the chance.
“You really need to watch your back more, my love. I can’t watch it for you forever.”
Your eyes light up when you see who it is, the urge to run over and jump into his arms tugging at your heart but all you can manage is a hasty stumble in his direction, a silent yelp leaving your lips as gravity pulls your body downwards, straight at the ground.
“Falling for me again?” A pair of cold arms wrap themselves around you, stopping your descent. You heave a relieved sigh, closing your eyes as you lean into the cooling embrace of your vampire lover, feeling your body give out without an adrenaline high to sustain it anymore.
“I will always fall for you,” you murmur tiredly. You feel your body sag against his, feel his panic as he realises you’re bleeding out all over the ground. His voice rises a pitch, sharp fingernails digging ever so slightly into your flesh and you want to comfort him, reassure him that you’re not going anywhere but your muscles refuse to move and you can’t do anything about it.
“Darling, stay with me. As tasty as you look leaking blood, you’re leaking too much blood.” He holds you close, trying to staunch the bleeding with one hand while the other haphazardly rummages through the bag for a healing potion.
“Too…much…? I thought…you’d…appreciate it…” You’re getting dizzier and dizzier, with more of your vision fading to black. His red eyes pierce the veil that’s being drawn over your eyes, willing you to stay awake but the pull of the void is too strong, you can’t hold on anymore.
“Well, you see love…love? Love!”
And the world turns black.
You wake up with a start, chest heaving and sweat running down your back.
A nightmare. A rather vivid one at that.
You pinch the bridge of your nose, willing your thundering heart to calm down before it can wake the trancing vampire next to you but his movements suggest that he has already woken up.
“Nightmare?” He murmurs quietly, his tone a far cry from his usual way of speaking.
“Hrm,” you reply, blood pounding in your ears. The world refocuses, showing you the vampire who is gazing at you with such concern in his eyes, his eyebrows creased in worry.
“I’m alright, Star. Just need to…get a breath of fresh air,” you wave him off. “Sorry for interrupting your trance.”
“I was about to head off for a hunt.” He pauses for a moment. “Would you like to come along, my dear?”
“That…sounds nice.” You rub your eyes, feeling his hand brush against yours. Giving his hand a squeeze, you push yourself up, wiping the night’s terrors away and step out into the cool fresh air, taking a deep breath. You hear him stop just behind you, his shoulder brushing against yours and you take his hand once more.
“I just need you,” you whisper, the words meant only for his ears. He nods, pressing closer to you and swallows the honeyed words that almost fall from his lips out of habit. What you need now is him, not the words his tongue can form, not the services he can provide.
You just need him.
It’s not something anyone else can provide, it’s something unique to him and something he’s comfortable with providing. If all you want is for him to sit by your side, he will happily do just that.
Astarion lets you lead the way, sitting on the steps next to you with a clear view of the city. He wants to know what your nightmare was about so that he can reassure you better, but watching you take in the city’s night lights with quiet awe, he decides that dredging up the past can wait and patiently sits next to you, exactly like he promised. He takes your hand, relishing in the way your fingers automatically curl around his hand.
“I’m right here, my love.” he says for no other reason than he wants to say it. You nod, squeezing his hand before resting your head on his shoulder, letting out a deep breath.
“Thank you,” you whisper. The quiet night beckons the words from your lips, the words you have yet to say to him and mean it with all your heart. You feel him slip an arm around your waist, pulling you closer and feel his lips ghost over your hair.
“I love you.”

I have been sipping over astrotrain, and my brain just reboots everything when I see him. Just imagine after a long day you just walk up to your very tall boyfriend and want snuggles. Gosh I can't believe I'm writing this😂Idk...this idea of imagining how different characters smell like just hit me today and I thought I should write it down. Well, it's probably because recently another fellow Dan fan asked me when I met him did he smell like anything and I couldn't give an answer...So umm...here we go.
※I'm a fragrance enthusiast so this is gonna involve a LOT of notes/ingredients...
※Imma just write my favorite characters first...
David Collins
Oh my...David. My favorite David. A mixture of light and dark. I love designing note pyramid for character like this. In the beginning of the movie he's...citrus, extremely fresh, bright, uplifting, probably bergamot and bitter orange, a tad bit of neroli for the gentleness. But then, also lavender and musk, for the universal charm.
When the suspense kicked in, there's wormwood...and oakmoss, maybe galbanum too. Just the hint of coolness that send chills down your spine. But on the surface florals aren't completely gone. Louder lavender with subtle, powdery orris root are still covering up the others.
Then finally, the identity was revealed, the florals gone, oakmoss grew stronger, vetiver and dark, damp patchouli took over. Patchouli was always there but you couldn't see it in the beginning. It's determined to stay. It'll haunt you on your sleeves and shirt collar for many days.
I haven't read the original novel but I'm just gonna write this part according to the tv series I watched. Edward is very reserved, so definitely not something too loud. Aromatic green/floral, possibly.
Edward Ferrars
But the first impression he gave us was...quite refreshing, and..."balmy"? Idk if I'm using the right word but...sort of like that. His scent must open with adorable grapefruit and yuzu notes.
Then heart notes...maybe honeysuckle and narcissus. Please don't be mislead by their names, I only meant the scent themselves. Maybe a bit of jasmine as well, but very light, only a trace underneath other florals.
There should be the scent of grass. Or just the faint smell of freshly crushed leaf from a bitter orange tree. You know, the kind of scent that make you feel like "there's still good things on this world"...
Base notes are also very modest. Probably cedarwood. Plus a bit of sandalwood and vanilla perhaps. But the vanilla is very soft, not sweet at all, just smooth and creamy.
David's personalities and "aura" changed quite a bit through 3 seasons...I'm just gonna pick the Season 3 cult leader David.
David Haller
I usually don't prefer amber/resinous stuff but for this setting I might pick some...
For starters I think his cult base should smell like a mixture of incense, sandalwood, myrrh, oud, maybe some sweet smells like honey, benzoin, vanilla or even some spicy notes like cinnamon...just to make people feel "at home". And then for himself...
He's a cult leader after all. So there should be some...blue chamomile, chrysanthemum, possibly iris and violet too...added to a very smooth, soothing sandalwood base. But of course he has a pretty dark side. So let's say...a bit of leather and civet and castoreum and patchouli too. Not too much animalics though, just giving some depth to the leather note.
Sir Lancelot
A charming knight on the outside but a clueless cute little cinnamon roll on the inside. Man, this one is quite hard to imagine with scent...hmmm...
I'd say rose is his core note. Like, not the modern kind of overly sweet feminine rose, but more like, rose water mixed with scent of leather and herbs...However, if we took it out of the historical context, and focus on the character himself's personality, I would say that he just really reminds me of lychee and raspberry, especially lychee, like it's a bit of tart at first but mostly very sweet and juicy, and it matches perfectly with rose note...
Alexander Lemtov
Well, I think for such a glamorous and fabulous character the answer should be quite obvious...still lavender. But this time lavender is mixed with more sweet and alluring note, like vanilla and tonka bean, cinnamon and tobacco, and warm amber notes and musk, probably a dab of civet as well...oh and rose should be there too...
Lemtov is also extremely wealthy so who knows, maybe he'll just drop in some carnation and saffron just for fun...and it's not like they don't suit his vibe, he's quite spicy after all...🌶️But, well, even though oud is also very expensive, I personally don't think Lemtov is "the oud type of guy", it's too straight for him🤣
Well, that's uh...five Dan characters that I'm most familiar with, I might write more but I'm not sure how many people will be interested in this weird sort of fantasy-diary-essay-whateverthisiscalled-thingy so Imma just leave it here...😅
(Also I'm not familiar with Downton Abbey so I'd rather skip it...🤨)

My Experience at the Pittsburgh Ritual
Gonna go ahead and put this under a read more as it might get long...
Who am I kidding its gonna be long as fuck.
I'll go ahead and do this song by song to keep it...somewhat organized lmao
After the opening band (which they did fantastic!! Just not everyone's cup of tea. And that's okay!! The singer did make the microphone peak a few times, (it surprised me a few times) and they went on like...10 minutes early and ended early too, I'm not sure why they went on early?) the wonderful stage crew of Sleep Token worked to get the stage torn down and set back up for the boys.
There was one stage hand that brought out "The Mic Stand" and EVERYONE went wild and he just stood there, holding the stand for a good few seconds before walking off. It was hilarious.
I heard Sam testing out II's drums. You go Sam, pop off king.
More stage hands, more running wires. I applaud the stage hands, it was efficient, quick, a well oiled machine.
The Night Goes Not Belong to God
Vessel steps onto stage first, applause, cheers, screams. He sings the first few lines. The Girls. The wonderful and beautiful Espera. Then II and his wonderful drums. Then IV came out...
Then III runs out of his side like a bat out of hell and POINTS at the crowd. Goddamn III was on his chaotic SHIT that night I swear to god.
The entire crowd was ready to sing along the entire time, it was beautiful.
The Offering
Vessel was so dancey the entire night and this song just solidifed how dancey pants mcgee he was gonna be.
II was vibing in the beginning, feeling the music, ya love to see it. I remember him stretching his arms out, its was adorable.
III was feeling the night the ENTIRE night, everytime I was able to see him, he was bent over just bobbing to the beat. Like, III you good?
Vessel's growl was FANTASTIC here and he went "OH, OH". Like Vessel PLEASE. He danced more, of course.
Dark Signs
I could really only see II, Vessel and IV from my seat for most of the song. Where I was seated it was soooo hard for me to see Espera I was so sad, I really wanted a good view of the girls but light fixtures blocked my view. I was vibing pretty hard though.
Higher
I feel like this was one of the songs where the crowd sung along super loud with Vessel. There were a few songs that the crowd just shouted along with him. I looooved the lighting they use for Higher.
II looked like he was having the time of his life on his platform. "Look guys I'm finally taller than you"
III also still doing his yoga routine of bending in half at the waist (as he had been doing all set)
Vessel scream/growling "The debt that I owe" and the entire crowd screaming it back to him at the same time. Chills.
GOD ESPERA LOOKS SO GOOD IN ORANGE LIGHT. YES QUEENS
Atlantic
Cue the first song of me trying not to cry. It was beautiful as it always is. Espera's backups???? GOD SO GOOD. I'm also GUSHING OVER THE LIIIIIGHTS. The lasers had me geeking as an old stage hand. And the boys had a little jam session on the middle platform. It was so cute. 😊
II was VIBING HARDCORE, truly feeling the music on his platform. So was IV. Gosh they love that song.
Hypnosis
Another song the crowd just BELTED along with Vessel. Another song with dancey pants Vessel. This song was so so fun. Watching Vessel just dance his way across the stage just made me giggle. He hit some high ass notes too!! The crowd was waving their arms for the boys, feeling the vibes.
Vessel's little arm raise towards the end too? Gooooood. Immaculate.
Like That
Time for III to bother II.mp3
III is on II's platform. He had his arm around II, I saw that much from my seat, then I remember II put his arm around III and with a drumstick in his hand shake his hand on the beat of Vessel singing "Do you like that?" III got off the platform after that.
Alkaline
Steppy steppy Vessel time. It was a weird thing to see from the side angle I had, but I got the gist lol. II was swaying side to side on his platform.
Another song the crowd just fucking shouted out along with Vessel. I swear sometimes I could hear the crowd more than I could hear Espera!!!!
Vessel did seem to enjoy it though as he did do a bit of ad-libbing if you can call it that? Added some things to enhance the song.
Missing Limbs
PROJEKT ATLANTIC SONG! WE LIT UP THAT STADIUM!!!!!
So many lights, it almost completely lit up the entire place! It was so pretty!! It wasn't all pink, but it was pretty close!
Another song I almost cried to.
Espera's backups....so fucking pretty.
Chokehold
So I neglected to say this in earlier songs, but there was a pit in almost every song that a pit would be warranted. Chokehold had a pretty decent pit. This was the song where I gave up sitting down in my chair and stood the fuck up. I was in the nosebleeds and was a bit nervous of the height but WHATEVER.
The seating right next to me also had one guy who was like motioning for everyone in his section to stand and they did so that entire section stood and I was like...YEAH IMMA DO THAT TOO
ANYWAY!! Vessel hit some fucking high notes and we got dancey pants Vessel back. He was so dancey towards the end. Gotta get those ants out his pants.
When the chorus of Chokehold came on, it was another of the parts where the crowd just BELTED it along with Vessel and I swear Vessel got quieter just to hear the crowd. If that's true, that's so sweet of him. He also hung onto the note at the end like COME ON MAAAAAAN.
The Summoning
Again, time for crowd sing along!!!
The whole crowd went INSANE when he growled. It was WILD.
Vessel went to go bother IV when it was time for his solo. I couldn't quite see what he did, but I'm sure it was amazing. ;u;
IV YOUR FUCKING SCREAMS MADE ME SO HAPPY TO HEAR IN PERSON
The interlude extended to hear Vessel's piano and II's DRUMS. HE GOT HIS OWN SOLO!! LIKE HOOOOOLY SHIT!!!!! II IS SUCH A GODDAMN GOD.
The second part? The crowd? Singing along? Look. I know not everyone enjoys hearing the crowd singing along with the boys, I've seen the discourse. But it was so so cool to be a part of it, to hear it. To see the boys FEEDING OFF of the energy of the crowd and getting even MORE energized from it.
That's just my two cents, though.
Granite
III AND IV SWITCHED SIDES!!! I FINALLY GOT A GOOD VIEW OF III!!!! AND ANOTHER CROWD SING ALONG!!!
THE AD LIBS!!!!!!! THE CROWD KNEW SOME OF IT!!!!! IT WAS SO COOL!
Hearing the ad libs that Vessel does of this song I am just like AAAAAAAAAAAA
I will say, when III asked for his pit, he got his pit. It was a fantastic fucking pit too. Pretty big, lots of people, and it calmed down when it should have, very respectful.

Rain
I think at this point, the crowd just sings along with Vessel. It's just safer to assume lol.
The lighting of Rain will always astound me. It's so beautiful. So well done.
III again doing full body head bangs and that will never not be funny to me.
I can also say with confidence that Pittsburgh knows how to keep time with their claps. Let's go Pittsburgh, we actually know how to clap on time to Rain. 🤣
Ascensionism
Vessel starts to break down here. Which almost makes me break down. There's a full recording of the Pittsburgh ritual where it's a little hard to hear the hitches in his voice, but in person you could hear he had more breathlessness, more hitches...he was starting to get super emotional.
He was really feeling the story he was telling throughout this entire set list.
When he says the final "Diamonds in the trees, pentagrams in the night sky", the entire crowd SHOUTED it back to him.
Same with "You make me wish I could disappear" the crowd was right along with him.
Take Me Back to Eden
They added bird calls and I think even very quiet running water sounds to this, such a nice touch. The lighting again, so good, such great atmosphere. GOD I CANT GUSH ANYMORE ABOUT THE LIGHTING, THE COLORS, THE WAY THE LASERS ARE, THE WAY THEY AFFECTED THE FOG LIKE HOLY SHIT
God the ad lib vocals from Vessel were so so good...I was so blessed to hear them in person.
The crowd was rapping along with Vessel and when III was commanding the crowd when that happened, walking across the stage swinging his arm like, III, what are you doing you silly man.
Vessel also started crying a bit during this...his voice broke a bit and I'm just like...my baby.
And of course, the crowd just joins in with Vessel, showing him that he is loved, we all love him. c:

Euclid
God after seeing Sleep Token in person and hearing this in concert, this song just means so much more to me.
The crowd of course was singing along.
II was feeling it.
Vessel SCREAMED "Do you remember me?" And he was emotional again, I could hear his voice breaking every so often. He also screamed "The night belongs to you".

A night that I will always remember. Even if just in fragments and through pictures I have taken and through videos others have recorded.
Truly, the night belonged to us, Pittsburgh. It was an honor, a privilege, and a once in a lifetime experience to see the entirety of Sleep Token. The boys, Vessel, II, III, IV. The Girls, Espera. Their wonderful, hardworking backstage crew. All of them did so well.
I hope to see them again in this lifetime.
You are so loved.
