Heavymedic but medic is Frankenstein while heavy is Frankensteins monster but in a real way not costumes
HeavyMedic is the ultimate ship, and I am very much here for it. I don't know exactly what you wanted done so I went with some fluff.
~~~~~~~~
It was considerably dark in the medical wing at the tuefort base. The lights went out due to Scout stealing the company truck and ramming it into a powerline not too far from the base. The only sounds in this part of the base wee the sounds of heavy footsteps on the tile floor and soft voices talking softly to each other.
"Alright my precious creation, now lift me higher."
What Medic was doing could be seen as dangerous; but with his taller than 6'5" boyfriend he had nothing to worry about. Medic had this great idea to build a monster a few months back. But after dealing with loneliness for years on end with this stupid Gravel War he decided to build a boyfriend instead.
Giant hands lifted Medic by the hips and hoisted him up by the large windows overlooking the examination room.
"Danke, mien Liebe."
Reaching out to the support beams Medic reached out to Archimedes. From Heavy's perspective the doctor looked like an angel. The way his sharp features and light blue eyes looked in the dark room made him seem like an aethereal being. His hips felt so small and delicate under his fingers. If he focused hard enough he could feel the thrum of life circulating around in the lithe body.
The certain way that Medic's face flushed while straining to reach over to his beloved pet further cemented the deep love and adoration that he felt for him. Truly, the good doctor at this moment looked like a god. Finally, upon reaching Archimedes he turned his gaze towards Heavy.
"Liebe? what are you starring at?"
Feeling a blush rising to his cheeks he slowly lowered the man till they were face to face.
'How utterly small he is. So perfect fitting in my hands.'
Slowly as if not to startle him he pressed his lips to Medic's forehead. Planting a chaste kiss, later on more would surely follow.
"I was staring at you Doktor, you look so cute in my hands."
Some more Flying fox and other bat stuff, ‘cause they’re cool.
I decided to make RED Medic Tf2 a vampire who turns into a Flying Fox since the lanky big look suits him better than the scrunch faced donut look of tiny bats.
Anyways, here’s more bat content.
youtube
So a Flying Fox is like a lanky sky cat.
youtube
They eat fruit, not bugs/blood.
youtube
Baby bat rescue.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Overall, pretty spooky by fun creature.
Also, shoutout to the eeping big bat that got passed around by people on social media, just because they were scared of him.
Tumblr media
He tired, let him sleep in peace.
Now onto tiny bats.
youtube
Overall, a much smaller type of bar with big ears and a scrunchie face. And one that I feel looks too harmless to be the crazy Medic from RED. Even if they are the bug-eating bats.
Tumblr media
This is a vampire bat, and they’re the only species that really drinks blood. Also relatively ugly compared to the other tiny bats with their layered looking snout. I still think a flying fox suits Medic tf2 more, even if they’re fruit bats.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They even come in a reddish variant!
Also, while I’m on the subject, someone made a monster mercs AU where Spy’s vampire form is a Mediterranean Horseshoe bat…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The disrespect! This dumb little creature is living its best life, but don’t do Spy dirty like that.
youtube
Rescue of a tiny little bug-eating bat in France. We forget how cool it is that mammals can be this small, including mice.
Hope you enjoyed the bat content.
Official Roster of Characters for the monster mash-
(I'm so sorry to everyone who's sent a request I have yet to get to, but I'm on a spiral, and this is the one thing I can focus on ngl-)
Some are odd choices, but I wanted a good mix of obscure monsters with the more common ones. I hope the backstories justify the choices well! ^^
Red Team!
RED Scout: Horror Movie Slasher
A kind of Michael Myers or Bo Sinclair type, he has no supernatural powers and relies on nothing but his own force of will to get his sick thrills and escape capture. He's a hyperactive little maniac with bloodlust like none other. (Additionally, he is in a serial killer duo with BLU Pyro.)
RED Soldier: Battlefield Ghost (American Redcap)
The once-promising Soldier who met a grizzly end on the battlefield fighting with all his heart now bound to the land he once protected as his restless spirit looks to avenge his own death, slaughtering all who dare tread on his resting place. No living man could comprehend the madness and hatred of the ex-soldier, as in life, none could compare to his heart and dedication to battle. Now the Soldier fights in an endless war in death with no promise of freedom. (A redcap is a ghost from English/Scottish folklore, describing the spirits who haunt boarders and the areas where the living once fought to protect and expand their homeland, something much like the ghosts haunting places like Sharpsburg, Chikamauga and many other such positions from the era of the civil war.)
RED Pyro: Cursed Living Doll
Pyro, as a living doll, has known several lives. Once, the gift of an elderly toymaker for his grandson, a little stuffed fireman, inspired by the fables the little boy would make up and perform for his Grandfather. Using the little toys as players as he narrated for his Grandfather, who would watch with wrapped attention, knowing he needed to make this toy perfectly to fit such a blessed and inspired storyteller. And for a few months, the little toy Pyro was the star performer in all the boy's shows, as he performed for family and friends alike. It was a cruel irony when tragedy struck the little boy's house in the form of a roaring blaze, one which snuffed out the life of the boy who died, clutching his most prized possession, praying it would deliver him to safety, as he'd done to so many other little boys in his stories. Years later, when the remnants of the toy were discovered, miraculously avoiding much damage from the fire, it was donated to a toy history museum, where it was to be touched up and put on display. But after the superstitious historian caught the cursed little thing moving about in the night on its own, he refused to lay his hands on it. This continued for some time until the little Toy Fireman eventually wound up lost, all alone all over again. To this day, the toy wanders in shadows, wandering from person to person. Terrified, restless, homesick, always looking for his beloved Grandfather, lost so long ago.
RED Heavy: Frankenstein's Monster
A creature of few words but of massive scale. Heavy is known to those on the outside as a cruel, merciless monster, one who must be kept away at all costs. But those close to him know better. Heavy won't rise to violence without outsider instigation. He cares only about protecting those close to him. Frightening on the outside, Heavy cares little for those who look upon him with fear or derision. It's not an easy or pleasant life, but it's all he's ever known.
RED Demo: Satyr
Nowhere near as vicious as many of his counterparts, above all, he is a hedonist, a title Demo embraces with pride. A creature with the gods' blood running in his veins, Demo knows he can unleash unfathomable destruction at will and is no stranger to enacting as much. But above all, Demo lives for the finer things in life and all the secular pleasures he can get his hands on. He lives among the mortals and nymphs, beckoning the pure to sin and corruption, one full glass at a time.
RED Engineer: Cyborg
In the lore of TF2, it's mentioned that many of the patents attributed to Engie were initially his Grandfather's inventions he'd workshopped and brought to the battlefield. Going off of this, consider Engie's Grandfather alone, desiring a child to care for, and if he couldn't create one biologically, he'd do it in his machine shop. (Imagine if the story of Pinocchio were steampunk instead of Germanic.) Being constructed in a cold lab surrounded by machines of war and artillery, Engie never learned how to understand humans except through means of war. When his Grandfather, his Maker, passed away, no one was left to inhibit the Cyborg's morbid curiosity for humanity. Equal parts machine of war and curious child exploring the world, Engie's world is a cold one, unfeeling and without meaning.
RED Medic: Corrupt/Evil Priest
The one holy and devout man of the cloth led astray to the path of sin through secular curiosities and the thirst for knowledge. The ex-priest now embraces the life of vice, actively working to convince others to follow in kind. The Medic was cursed from birth with an insatiable curiosity, and it was only a matter of time before this morbid fascination with the other-worldly would lead him to stray from God. Medic was always well educated and cultured, though nowadays, he's not nearly as kind-hearted as he once was, choosing instead to favor a life of black magic, studying the dark arts and the occult.
RED Sniper: Vampire Hunter
While he and his bloodline were once humans, they are now cursed to roam the Earth forever, unable to be granted the sweet embrace of death until every vampire has been defeated. It is a miserable life, to say the least. There is nothing but endless bloodshed, centuries spent hunting in the hope of one day finding peace. (A task all the more soul-crushing considering in this AU, the Administrator is a vampire herself, and taking her out is basically flat-out impossible.)
RED Spy: Undead Groom
A groom killed on his wedding night, double-crossed by his own bride upon learning of his affairs with other women. What was once a life of treachery, unfaithfulness, and betraying the hearts of unsuspecting morals is now an afterlife, eternally haunting the graveyard behind the chapel. (Gonna be brutally honest, this backstory is weak as fuck, I just think Spy in an undead groom get-up would go so hard-)
BLU Team!
BLU Scout: Werewolf
AKA the lil' runt of the liter. Volatile and competitive, werewolf Scout worked harder than all the other members of his liter to fight to the top. He knows he's worked hard for this, and though he may lead the pack now, he'll never forget the childhood he spent in last place.
BLU Soldier: Haunted Armor
A magnanimous sight, over two hundred pounds of hand-crafted iron worked to perfectly protect the wearer from enemies. In combat, it was nothing short of a work of art, turning the act of slaughter into a breathtaking spectacle and carnage into poetry. Armor like this was intended to live on the battlefield, not remain stationary, fixed in place by the mantel, as a parody of its former beauty. And only the original master of the armor, the restless spirit of a bloodthirsty Soldier struck down in combat, had the tenacity to reclaim his majesty. Possessing the armor and, in kind, forever walking the Earth, his only purpose of killing without mercy, showing everyone how the most beautiful and illustrious of armor was truly meant to be seen.
BLU Pyro: Masked Slasher
A creature of the night, a mask without a face, a shadow without a body. It's more about stalking Pyro and watching as a nocturnal predator. One who lives for the thrill of the hunt. As opposed to Scout's sadistic desire to kill. He's a creature who lives for the night. Pyro doesn't remember life before killing. All it knows is the call to evil that rises each night with the moon, making him the perfect partner in crime for the hyperviolent, not-so-discrete, Scout.
BLU Heavy: Yeti
Literally just canon Heavy if he never got out of Siberia and had more body hair.
BLU Demo: Phoenix-hybrid
Fire, explosions, collateral damage, nothing inspired this creature of fire and rebirth with wonder and satisfaction quite like the sight of a fire, the aftermath of a grand explosion tearing up and consuming all that lay in its wake. For all this destruction, there is always the promise of rebirth, and for as many deaths Demo suffers, he never fails to come back, just as strong and ready to fight as before.
BLU Engineer: Poltergeist
A restless spirit with a pension for the mechanical, a poor man who tragically lost his life at the hands of a freak tech accident. Feeling no sense of connection to the world around him except through the cords and metal, he wielded in life. Not malevolent, not vengeance-seeking, merely a lost soul looking to find the meaning he once knew in life wielding his tools and devices. Anyone who steps into the ex-engineer's shop would swear they felt watched, chills, and melancholy in the air.
BLU Medic: Grim Reaper
The angel of death here to separate the human body from its soul and send the spirit into their next life. Medic loves his job. He may have no control over how his victim dies, but every day he watches the life leave the eyes of his victims in unique ways, as morbid as it is fascinating. It's a privilege for him to learn so much about humans and their pain. Knowing he'll be the last thing they'll see before the afterlife is also quite honoring!
BLU Sniper: Gargoyle
An inanimate statue constructed for the sole reason of watching over the cathedral he rests above. For so long, he performed this task till he grew restless and longed to stray from his accursed perch. Through this agitation, Sniper was persuaded to allow a demon to possess his stone body to give him the freedom he longed to see. Though the demon never promised Sniper when he'd get his body back, and centuries later, the gargoyle continues to possess his body, prowling around at night, perching motionless during the day.
BLU Spy: The Bogeyman
An ancient creature who has existed to torment mankind as the moon rises and the mind enters a deep sleep. He is a shapeshifting manifestation of fear incarnate who lurks in the darkness feeding off of human suffering and madness. He lost his heart long ago, and feels nothing but a hunger, his endless need deep inside to fill the void inside of himself with the suffering of others, knowing so long as he prowls the night, he will never be satisfied.
shitpost-y alternates
Scout: Killer Clown
Need I say more?
Soldier: Minotaur
A hulking territorial beast who will protect his homeland no matter the threat.
Pyro: Drude
A malevolent nocturnal spirit known to give people nightmares, originating from German mythology. Imagine the adorable power couple of drude Pyro with a ballonicorn mare frolicking through the night to terrorize the sleeping morals who rest in their wake- like, how cute is that!
Heavy: Centaur
Appearing wild and dangerous, but can also be down for a good time, won't turn to violence unprovoked, but will have fun with the violence in question.
Demo: Gorgon
Eternally pissed, he lost one of his eyes, so he uses his last one to turn bitches to stone and make this everyone else's problem.
Engineer: Carbunclo (creature!)
(Emphasis on creature, as I learned the hard way Carbuncio also refers to a specific type of skin infection.) Physical descriptions of the creature vary, though said to originate from Chilean folklore. He's kinda like a lil mammalian-looking creature with a bright gemstone on his forehead said to bring great luck and physical riches to the houses he visits. (Assuming he is treated well by the owners, naturally.) The creature is mainly drawn to salt-of-the-Earth, working-class type folks, so even if Engie weren't the Carbunclo in question, he would quickly endear himself to the critter.
Medic: Genie
An immortal demon who uses almost unfathomable cosmic power to simply fuck with people for shits and giggles.
Sniper: Amorak
A creature from the Inuit religion, Amoraks were spirit-like entitles that would hunt down and consume anyone foolish enough to go out hunting alone at night. Quite fitting for the lone-wolf mercenary.
Spy: Phantom of the Opera
A pompous, pretentious French guy in a mask who doesn't work well with others. They're perfect for each other.
I forgot to post this when i originally made it, but here is my
TF2 Monster AU
I'll start with the monster each merc is
Scout: Werewolf While yes, the traditional werewolf (ie. painful transformation, big hulking beast, fear n' guilt, lack of control, etc etc) sounds nothing like scout, this is not exactly traditional him becoming a werewolf was either a complete accident on both their parts (both him and the original werewolf) or unintentional on the werewolf's part He was originally hyped to find out what his wolf form would be, assuming it to be, y'know, big and scary and cool, but was immensely disappointed when it turned out to be a grey hound He still tries to hype it up as much as possible without actually revealing it to the person he's talking to He gets zoomies, both because Dog and Scout
Soldier: Zombie He survived many, usually fatal, injuries. (including but not limited to: getting brain bashed, being gutted, getting shot twice, etc etc) Unfortunately, he was unlucky enough to have a loose wood chip shoot directly into his brain stem, killing him instantly. But before that, he spent at least two hours yelling about war and patriotism and all the likes. Those being his last words, they are the only thing he remembered after death. For a long while, he lived with Merasmus, the local and evil wizard. That is, until Miss Pauling got him to join the the Mannor, to the delight of Merasmus That shovel is the same shovel he was buried with, he likes reminding people of this fact
Engineer: Cyborg Done himself, the mechanisms are just a step up from the Gunslinger Not only is the Fortress giant and haunted, it's rather technologically advanced, thanks to Engie He's probably the second closest to Miss Pauling There's not much I can say about him, as he's mostly the same as he is normally
Spy: Vampire He's got the melodramatics for it, it's even part of the reason he became a spy; there's a lot of information you can collect and use when you live for forever He had fallen for Scout's Ma, but left before he was born, both to save himself the misery of having to endure her inevitable human death and also so he wouldn't be around to possibly learn vampirism is genetic. as it turns out; it isn't, and Scout's Ma isn't even dead; she's just old. So he left for practically no reason; which is partly why he wants to keep the fact he is Scout's bio dad away from Scout himself His bat form is a Mediterranean Horseshoe Bat. He hates it <3
Medic: Frankenstein-esc Monster He used to be human, but he decided to try some experiments of his on myself instead. The tests have had varying success He added the extra arms for practical reasons; you can get twice the work done with twice the working arms He's awfully glad to now have his own little lab, with little to no interruptions, and no objections
Sniper: Ghost He was a hunter, lookin' for rare animals and killing the common ones for meat. Unfortunately, it seems some other hunter needed meat too Even in life, he wasn't one for talkin' to people. He took much more of a liking to animals, though, he wasn't exactly squeamish about eating meat, either. His death only happened by being at the same place as another hunter, both there for a particularly rare and exotic animal, though the other seemed more keen on taking the things life, rather than it's picture. They got into a bit of a squabble, and worse comes to worse the guy turned out to be a shapeshifter, and in to a gun, shooting Sniper in the head He spent most of the time between then and when he started living with the mercs just wandering the world; it being much easier to see the sights of the world when the sights of the world can't see you
Heavy: Werebear He's one of the three (The other two being Demo and Pauling) who have never been human. He's essentially the same as he is in the comics, protective of his family, protective of his sasha, protective of his doktor, the main difference being that here he can turn into a kickass polar bear.
Demoman: Selkie He's a man, sometimes seal, who enjoys the earthly desires of the world; alcohol, people, parties, explosives, y'know. but his mother, usually a seal, thinks he should be a more traditional selkie; seducing unsatisfied women, sitting naked on the rocks, y'know. He isn't too keen on that life, however Miss Pauling: Demon An Imp, to be specific. Unfortunately one of the only ones to take her job seriously She worked to get each of the mercs to live in the house, along with her, the Admin, and the Mann brothers' ghosts She managed to get half of them into contracts, save for the ones who joined willingly, saying they've got to stay. Why exactly did she gather the mercs? Well, she doesn't quite know. Or maybe she does, and the reason is just classified. Either way the only answer she'll give is that the Admin had told her to.
Pyro: Human(?) There's no evidence to prove it, but there's no evidence to disprove it, either. Their obsession with fire and all thing childish could be human, but it sure wouldn't be typical. The others have come up with a plethora of theories, but they refuse to say anything on the matter. Though, they don't say much on any matter, really. plus some general facts
They all live in this big, strange, and haunted house, called by the group either The Mannor or The Fortress
The Mannor is haunted by the Mann brothers, obviously, but they aren't nearly the strangest thing about the house
The Fortress is very big and very tall, and at the top lives the Administrator, whom next to no one has seen, let alone talked to
Pretty much only Miss Pauling has even talked to or even seen her more than once
Merasmus lives a short walk away from the Fortress
The Fortress has made each merc their own personal room and area
TF2 VAMP AU LORE ???? WHERE CAN I FIND IT ?? I NEED IT NOW .
Tumblr media
hi I’m very normal about the au and your work I promise (lore drop pretty please??)
Hiii.... Thats me (I got this super late last night and got really nervous and happy and didnt reply sorry woops).... Its not a huge thing, at least not yet, Its a work in progress But I can tell you what I have currently :3
Basically, The Vampire Mercs (RED) (Demo, Medic, Sniper and Spy) aren't mercs but are working different Night jobs. So Demo owns a Tavern (still a demoman, just on the side), Medic is a nurse, Spy is, well, a Spy and Snipers a hitman. They all use their jobs in different ways to get blood !
Medics been a vampire for the longest, He somewhat turned himself by experimenting with vampire dna and he is a few hundred years old.
Spy is the second oldest, naturally Half a vampire, he is still immortal, can turn into a bat and suck blood for strength but physically ages a little faster. Made him a very good spy throughout the years.
Sniper is the third oldest. He was a Monster hunter who travelled around trying to get Medic but ended up dying in the chase, which made Medic bring him back and subsequently turning him into a vampire (He thinks they are friends :]) Snipers fine with it (new powers and such plus loving the taste of blood) but not too keen on the immortal part.
Demos the youngest one, He's been turned recently aftering being offered to get his eye curse reversed by Medic. But the only way to reverse, WITHOUT turning his eye into a monster every Halloween, was to turn him completely into one, a vampire. He still doesn't have his eye but he doesnt have to worry about the curse or going completely blind by his 40s.
This is already alot but I am gonna keep the rest of the guys brief. The rest of the mercs (BLU) (Heavy, Pyro, Engineer, Scout and Soldier) are all workers at a church which suspects vampire activity around the town (RED fucking with them for funsies lol) but it slowly spirals into them practically being friends and more. Engineer, Heavy and Soldier are all Priests whilst Pyro is a Youth pastor and Scout is just a volunteer (his mom dragged him there). The other mercs from from red team are also human but are minor characters (Like Red Soldier and Zhanna are a married couple next door lol) There is alot of pairs which WILL change over time, depending on what I like currently, But the current ones are DemoSolly, Spoovy, Science party and Flash fire + sniper (no idea what ship name for them is !!). And Also Yes, Blu Scout is a quarter vampire. He only gets some powers like speed and living a little longer, but doesn't need blood. OKAY THATS ALL IF YOU WANT ANY MORE YOU CAN ASK ANYTIME !!!
Sooooooo
My brain hasn’t shut up about this but… what about a TF2 “monsters” AU, i mean monsters as in mythology monsters or like urban monsters, even cryptids
By far i have this
Medic: harpy, maybe a crow/raven or dove based harpy
Pyro: some kind if small dragon cuz of the fire and that
Heavy: i was thinking in a minotaur but then i thought about something originally from Russia and well, i have no idea what could it be
Spy: a changeling or whatever it can change its appearance/shape
Solly: maybe a werewolf, i’m not really sure what else he could be, i need more ideas
Demo: again a minotaur, but it happens that i have the same problem of heavy here cuz i thought it should be a Scottish being and idk what could be
With Sniper, Scout and Engi… well i have no clue and i really need help with this cuz my brain is yelling for drawing them as this. I’ll be very glad if someone says their opinion
Finally decided on what animal each of the mercs are for the TF2 x Beastars AU, so I'm making a new more clean post about it instead of adding it onto this rb train of mine.
So, let's get into it :]
First off, who is what animal:
Heavy - Eurasian Brown Bear
Medic - Alpine Ibex
Spy - Red [European] Fox
Scout - White-Tailed Jackrabbit (w/ some Red Fox mixed in)
Sniper - Dorset Horn Sheep
Demoman - Scottish Highland Bull
Soldier - Raccoon
Engineer - Blue Lacy [Dog]
Pyro - Gila Monster
Onto some side notes about the mercs in this AU (as well as some other stuff):
Like I wrote about in my fanfic for this AU (which you can read here if you wanna), Heavy is a bit bigger than the average Eurasian Brown Bear despite him not eating any meat. Tho', it also results in him having a weaker bite force. On the flip side, his arms are pretty powerful.
Out of the carnivores- who tend to get long, sharp nails- the only one that doesn't file them down is Soldier.
Scout's coat- as he grew older- began getting more and more tinted a red-ish orange color instead of it's usual gray-ish tan color. His tail is a bit longer than it should be, along with his nails being sharper (which he trims in secret). On the plus side, he is pretty fast, even in jackrabbit standards.
Medic has a few scars on his body he avoids showing anyone- especially Heavy and Scout- after a rather nasty night at the black market. The only ones that knows of it is Engineer (who helps clean the scars) and Spy ('cause of course he does). And ever since then, whenever he goes around the city, he always brings a bag with his trusted bonesaw, a scalpel, and a syringe inside of it.
Under his mask, Spy's fur around his face is graying a bit. As a lil' side note: He does eat meat, but avoids eating it in front of anyone. Even if he knows that Engineer (sometimes) and Soldier (quite a bit) eats meat as well.
Since it takes quite a lot to properly take care of wool, Sniper ends up just not really taking care of it. Which results in stuff getting stuck in it (like leaves, sticks, and so on), an awful time showering, and a grumbling doctor.
Due to how his hair is, Demoman always wears a headband to keep it out of his eye. On another note; While Heavy is the tallest carnivore of the group- and tallest overall- Demoman is the tallest herbivore.
Like Sniper, Soldier doesn't really take care of his fur, despite Demoman, Engineer, and Medic's best efforts to take care of it. His ears are also pretty scarred, but still works alright! If he didn't wear that helmet all the time, that is.
Being a type of dog, Engineer- whenever he isn't busy with a project- is the one to keep the other carnivores in line if they end up getting rowdy, or start losing themselves in their instincts.
Pyro does wear a mask all the time here as well- both to hide their more severe burn scars, and also to not accidentally poison someone with their venom- but only wears an asbestos-lined suit when their job calls for it. Their mask has at least one new sticker (to replace old stickers) plastered on it everyday, and their clothes tends to be decorated with patches that's sewed on, keychains, bracelets, and so on.
This one's gonna sound dirty af, but it's about horns, I swear. Out of the horned herbivores; Demoman's horns are the longest but are also somehow the thinnest, Medic's horns are the thickest (and just a tad shorter than Demoman's), while Sniper's horns are the shortest. These three- more notable Demoman and Medic- tend to get their horns accidentally hooked together and make them fall over eachother, over and over again.
I have ideas for other TF2 side characters for this AU, but I mostly have no clue what animals to give them. Except for Saxton, who gets to be a Red Kangaroo.
