The only person the 2nd Gecko trusts is this Camo Demo. The first pic is from Medic's POV: Medic returns only to see that Gecko had woken up from his slumber and that Demo is there - miraculously not missing any limbs with how he's invaded the Gecko's space. Demo's just confused about this odd sniper.

Since Gecko can't fully trust the Medic without Demo around, Medic has sort of assigned Demo as the 'caretaker' to prevent Gecko from tearing people's arms off (which isn't an easy task). Demo isn't happy about changing his job but guess he becomes accustomed.

Gecko Sniper is very curious, don't mind him

some reptile Snipers (technically the far left one isn't + 3rd reptile was left out). From left to right:

Snipey: The Cloth Thief. Sleeps on a pile of clothes in a cavern. Gets himself into trouble whenever he steals something. Could run on his fours.

Lizard Sniper: Mysterious prankster. Can move on his fours very fast. More on this post.

Gecko Sniper: Curious & Timid. Slightest of movements make him flinch away. If he gets comfortable enough with you, he can come up closer and inspect. Flees when attacked, can try to bite right before running off on his fours. Sometimes stands in a way like he is about to climb up a tree. Neck prone to crane forward. Hunch.

Monitor (Perentie) Sniper: Super Chill. Laid-back pose with a hunch. 'Emotionless face'. May sleep with his body twisted in odd ways. Calm movements. Defends himself after being attacked (slow reaction to pain?).

2nd Gecko Sniper(Spotty/Crocogecko): Swift & Wary. Has scaly skin spotted with white and grey colors, and a few pointy spikes. Forked tongue that vibrates when feeling uncomfortable. Stiff posture, especially when around strangers. Easily irritable. Won't hesitate attacking/snapping when threatened by something that steps too close. (May/may not have a tail) (the lesser thorn-tailed gecko)

Gravel Wars turn into… Dino wars, two teams fighting in enclosed areas for human entertainment - and Especially for scientists to analyze the behaviors and strengths of the ancient beasts.

"Welcome to Mercenary Park!"

what each class represents (but not necessarily limited to):

Sniper : Spinosauridae / Australovenator

Heavy : big dino  

Engineer : Ceratopsidae 

Pyro : Any dino/hybrid that can wear a mask

Scout : FAST AS FOK 

Soldier : Pachycephalosauridae

Demoman : armored  

Medic : Therizinosaurus… Idk   

Spy : fancy looking dino / Iguanodon / Deinocheirus

alternate glasses, Spy mask & skin + Demo's eyes:

RED and BLU teams have different dinos – e.g. RED Scout is Gallimimus and BLU Scout is Velociraptor (Except both Medics are Therizinosauruses but they do look different).

Initial idea was that the RED team's counterparts (BLU) were scientifically accurate dinosaurs. I'm leaning more towards to the idea that all mercs can be drawn to look more scientifically accurate if wanted. But whatever, it's not serious stuff: it's all about bone headed Sollys rocket jumping into the moon to capture the flag.

since Demo canonically has at least 3 jobs, then being a chief engineer doesn't sound very far-fetched in another universe, eh, eh? Ray Arnold smokes constantly which sounds too much like a Spy thing. Had hard time choosing btwn Medic and Engi to be John Hammond - god complex and such.

That's brave, my 7yo self wouldn't have managed that heh. I can clearly remember it being a sunny summer night the day I saw the movie for the first time. I climbed the stairs to go to my room but I felt uneasy, thinking: "what if a raptor would appear now and attack me?" I went to bed, unscathed.

My brain wasn't truly braining XD. I saw a video clip where Sniper was animated like in the ’clever girl’ scene. Some day later it struck me (after watching the original scene since ages) that sniper was re-enacting the dude who had the (same) slouch hat. Similiarity detected=Go nuts. Guess I had just forgotten some stuff from the movie idk… 

YES! jurassic park and dinos in general are such a nostalgic part of my childhood too. Them dinos are still lurking in the corners of my mind.
