A Jacen Solo Adjacent Rant -- AN ADJACENT RANT IF YOU WILL lol sorry: 

I will feel this for an eternity. I wish I had the money/skills/everything to make a SWEU fanfilm. I hate that one of the biggest ones (or biggest two, really) with Solo kids/that timeframe has this absolute huge trigger/content warning for s.exual assualt under the cut playing Jacen Solo?

Like I’ve been in such a Legends headspace on and off lately and I just want there to be more out there than this. HOW DOES ONE FANFILM? HOW DOES ONE SCRUB AN ASSCLOWN FROM FANDOM?

I know I’ve posted about it before but the rage always comes back when I see anything about the fanfilm. Someone posted a gif from it on twitter and I said something because I couldn’t stop myself and they were actually like “oh god no” and took it down and we talked about how disappointing and gross it was and how the SWEU needs better shit. I’ve mentioned this whole mess to people before and they’re like, “so what??”

WHICH... REALLY? FOR REAL. Anyways, I needed to get this off my chest again since I always do apparently lol whoops

Chapter 5 of "Penelope" is now up!

As Mara Jade made the lightsaber cut that would seal the clone of Thrawn's fate, she had doubts, ones she dare not voice to Luke, or even to herself. The destruction wrought by the Jedi was not as complete as it seemed. The clone awakes into Chaos, and tries to make sense of a new world where there doesn't seem to be a place for him after all.

  In 2016, I started this journal as a way to celebrate a pairing in the Star Wars: Expanded Universe (or Legends) that I felt never got enough love. The fact that there are still fanworks and feelings and everything re: them circulating to this day is such a joy -- even after the discontinuation of the EU and the decanonization of pretty much everything relating to them. So if you’re a fan of the relationship between Jacen Solo and Tenel Ka Djo (and their precious bb Allana) and are following this blog I want to thank you for being awesome and still loving this otp after so frickin’ long.

  If you’re a fan who hasn’t joined us, we’d love to have you! We’d also love to see any fanworks you’ve created relating to them! Fic, art, cosplay, edits, playlists -- anything! We follow the Jacen Solo and Tenel Ka Djo tags on here so as long as at least one of them is tagged we’ll see it! (Also, it doesn’t have to be the pairing exactly -- it can also be something related to one or the other. Things we won't reblog can be found here.) I’ve been trying to sort folders full of old random stuff (images, photos, graphics, stories -- all kinds of crap) and I came across some Really Old SWEU-related stuff I made. Here’s what each thing is and some notes about them.

INSERT PHILOSOPHICAL SHIT HERE -- 2008

Some friends and I made playlists that were musicals for EU characters and I did one for Jacen and it was just called HEY. This was one of the images for the main post I made about it. There was one for each song.

I wonder if I can find the other ones because I remember in one of them Jacen had a mullet.

This shit was ridiculous and I really miss all the people I did this ridiculous stuff with. ;D

THE SARLACC -- really early... near prequels?
