#He said he was gonna drive down to the shelter #to make sure they'd take the dog #and I accepted that #but his break shift is ending #so I went to smoop on the webste #and it looks like they'll take just anout anything off your hands #you just need an apointment #one he aparently hasn't made #tomorrow is his last day for this supposed drive down to the shelter #I just keep sitting here like... #Sir neither me or my husband are equipped to care for your untrained dog #The constant shtting and pissing and whining at our door and whining when we're around #and barking at everything that moves and lunging for your food but then #whining when you eat in amother room and constantly harrassing our smaller more well behaved dog #like I have been genuinely su1s1d4l dealing with this and so has my husband #but at 17 he told me NOOO I JUST CAN'T DEAL WITH THE GUILT #But apparently me being su1c1d4l was kosher? #And now he keeps dancing around it while SAYING he's doing stuff #he won't even give me the gpddamn name of the first shelter he spoke to #this problem could've been solved like 4 or 5 years ago when I NEARLY KILLED MYSELF TAKING CARE OF THEM ALONE FOR A WEEK #but no! He's dragging it out further! #honestly if he comes back saying he won't do it I'm just moving into my mom in law's basement #her husband is transphobic but I am going to fucking off myself if this doesn't change #and she is a lovely woman who frequently tells him to knock it off #So there is a silver lining

hes a smug little guy! he's a hitman/conman who escaped from prison after being thrown under the bus by his former group despite being very obedient to them. now he just kinda roams around and picks up whatever job he likes, as long as its not TOO morally dubious (and if it is... well that's what the conman title is for)

he usually fights with the huge ball chains that are tied to his wrists, and since they're connected to his neck too theyve given him a perpetual slouch/shrimp posture (he js like me fr)

Art Prompt Request

Hello friends! So, I have a bit of a different request today, so please bear with me.

Basically, my old laptop/tablet (a six year old Surface Pro 4) has been getting slow recently and while it still works, I thought it was about time to update. So, I bought a Surface Pro 7+ yesterday and struggled to reinstall all my art programs onto it this morning.

Well! I realized it's been a very long time since I last drew something, and since I have a brand new laptop I mostly got for drawing, I figured it would be good to, ya know... actually draw something. The problem? I don't have any idea of what I want to draw.

That, my dear fellows, is where y'all come in. I'd like to draw something IshiMondo themed (though it could be Taka or Mondo separately too), but don't know what exactly to draw for them. So, if you have an art prompt you'd like to see get drawn by an amateur cartoon-y artist, please send it in to me! There is no guarantee I'll draw it, since I'll need to be inspired, and I don't know when I'll have the time/energy to complete the drawing (while I'm taking a two month break from school, work starts up again on Monday, and uh... elementary aged kids run ya ragged), but! I will do my best to draw at least one thing that someone sends me, even if it takes a while.

Please feel free to send me multiple prompts! In fact, the more the better, since it will give me more ideas to choose from, and my inspiration is unfortunately kind of picky. It can be anything, from an AU, to something from canon, to a specific scene from a specific fic (though please submit the scene in question if you can so I don't have to go searching. Even if it's just "it's in this chapter, starting at the sentence "And so blorgy blorg smooped the snurgle blast..." and ending with "he couldn't believe he'd just witnessed the first ever snomdooble catsnamf.""). Just as long as it's Taka, Mondo, or IshiMondo themed, I'm golden.

Oh yeah, I think it's time to talk about Thorin's introduction scene in the first Hobbit movie because I've never seen a man fall in love so quickly. Now, first off, they really build up who Thorin is with the dramatics of everyone stopping when he knocks and Gandalf saying, "He's here." Then, we cut to the actual opening of the door. See the GIF below.

Few things here. First, look at that confidence and swagger. Did he have to strike a pose when the door was opened? No, but he did because Thorin Oakenshield is nothing if not dramatic. He is also not blushing, nor does he look even vaguely surprised, just smirk and swagger. It's important to note he has not seen Bilbo at all yet. It's also important to note that in the next few seconds, he doesn't actually see Bilbo.

Look at these GIFs. My man is doing anything but looking at Bilbo. He can hear Bilbo. He's fixing his coat and smiling at Kili. The movie makes it explicitly clear when the first time he gets a good look at Bilbo is. Take a look.

Did you see it? The exact moment that he actually saw Bilbo. It's hard to miss, given his eyes grow like three times, and his pupils explode, but let's watch it in slow-mo and zoomed in anyway.

His whole mouth is hanging open like a caught fish. This is the closest to immediate heart eyes I have seen in my life. He's even blushing! Go look at his cheeks in the first gif compared to this one. He looks like he just found the meaning of happiness. It doesn't even stop there because the next bit is just as fun.

Thorin takes a full step forward like he's being yanked by a chain, and the look on his face isn't just curiosity he's starstruck. That's a genuine twinkle in those deep blues. Now don't get me wrong, Thorin goes on to insult Bilbo and dismiss him outright. What can I say, he's smoop, but he's about as emotionally constipated as it gets. Those insults, however, are a secondary reaction. It's very hard to fake a first reaction to something you're not expecting, and Gandalf told Thorin basically nothing about their soon-to-be burglar. This was his first genuine reaction to Bilbo, and it sets the stage for every interaction after it because if Thorin Oakenshield struggles with one thing from this point forward, it's keeping his eyes off of Bilbo Baggins.
