Darkira (Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina) pt. 9 Puppy Shadow
A soft knock on the door echoed through Catalina's house, signaling General Kirigan's return. Amira opened the door to find him standing there, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"Amira," Kirigan began, "I was wondering if you would join me for a stroll in the city. I would like to know my soulmate better."
Amira, with a hint of defiance in her gaze, agreed to the invitation. As they ventured into the heart of the city, where the lively atmosphere enveloped them, Amira couldn't help but notice the watchful eyes that followed General Kirigan's every move.
Kirigan led Amira through narrow alleys and bustling marketplaces, his keen eyes observing everything around them. They stopped at a quaint cafe tucked away from the bustling crowds, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enticing them.
As they sat in the outdoor seating area, Kirigan initiated a conversation that delved beyond their Grisha abilities. He asked about Amira's childhood, her dreams, and the experiences that shaped her into the person she was today. Amira, though willing to share, maintained a subtle defiance in her responses.
"I've had my share of challenges, General," she remarked, her eyes narrowing slightly. "But I don't let them define me."
Kirigan, undeterred, continued to unravel the layers of Amira's past. The defiance in her tone only seemed to deepen his intrigue. The night unfolded with shared stories, laughter, and a connection that was both reluctant and undeniable.
As they strolled through the city, Amira's defiance softened into a guarded curiosity. She found herself captivated by Kirigan's tales of ancient Grisha history and the struggles he faced. Yet, she remained determined not to let him completely unravel her secrets.
On the rooftop of a building, with the city lights sparkling below them, Kirigan gazed at Amira. "Amira, there is more to us than just our Grisha powers. I am glad to have this opportunity to know you on a deeper level."
Amira, her defiance giving way to a glimmer of vulnerability, met his gaze. "General Kirigan, don't mistake my openness for complete surrender. There are parts of me you will never know."
The night in the city had not only unveiled secrets but also showcased the defiance that fueled Amira's spirit, a spirit unwilling to be entirely consumed by the enigmatic General Kirigan.
He chuckled a little and kept walking with her "You will find I have patients to discover what those things are..we have all the time in the world.." He said
Amira didn't want to give him any clues but she knew he was also right..he had eternity..they had eternity to know one another.
As they walked though, Amira stopped when she heard the sound of puppies and she went over to where they were. She saw a group of puppies that was blonde, brown, white and one black one. General Kirigan was not usually around animals except horses.
"Do you want one?" He asked her as she looked at him.
"I wanted a pet when I was younger..Sierra and I would always talk about what we'd get." Amira said as she was still wearing his necklace.
The man in charge of the puppies was going to shoo Amira away when he saw the General and changed his mind as he looked at her. "Which one do you like young miss?" He asked her
Amira looked at the group of puppies as she thought about it before she picked up the black puppy and felt the puppy lick her cheek as she laughed. Aleksander was a bit surprised but he gave the man payment for the pup. He had a feeling he'd be rewarded in the future for doing this for her.
As they walked she held the puppy who relaxed in her arms, he questioned what her moves were going to be now that she was a pet owner and he'd paid for this puppy.
When they returned to Catalina's house, she leaned forward and kissed his cheek in appreciation surprising him. "Thank you for the puppy..Good night General." Amira said
They went separate ways that night and for a few days he had to figure out what he was going to do.
Amira had gone to the market to get puppy supplies for her new puppy she named Shadow with her grandmother Catalina. She'd gotten her food, supplies and a leash along with a collar. She loved that she had the opportunity and when a month passed and Aleksander came back to see her.
Amira was outside with her dog that had grown a bit and she was laughing as the dog was a great companion. Nico was watching her making sure no one was going to harm her and when he arrived Shadow barked.
"Seems you've been training her well." Aleksander said as Amira looked seeing the General.
"Yes, I have and Nico has helped." She said as she knew she had merely three months left here in her Grandmother's care before becoming his permanent guest. He nod as he walked over and kissed her hand.

Dear Chat Noir
Sigh... I really wanted this to be a one-shot. Desperately so. And then I wanted the premise to fit into one chapter. I really did. And then for both premise chapters to be ready before @auyeahaugust was over. Oh well.
Here’s chapter 1 of Dear Chat Noir, my ML Penpal AU (day 25 of AU Yeah August). Chapter 2 should be up soon!
Read on AO3
---
Chapter 1: Of mysterious findings
If you asked Adrien Agreste to describe himself, he would have said he was a somewhat normal child. Should you ask anyone else, their answers would range from “who?” to “a child prodigy”.
Adrien lived a secluded life in his family’s mansion, away from any distractions, as his father called anything that wasn’t piano practise or fencing training. Every school was considered a waste of time for his son’s intelligence, leading to private tutors to be taken on to satisfy Gabriel Agreste’s education standards. Adrien’s experience of the outside world was limited to being driven to these activities, if they couldn’t take place within the four walls that surrounded the Agreste Hôtel Particulier, and a weekly Sunday evening walk at the Jardin du Luxembourg with his bodyguard. The latter was the only tradition he’d managed to maintain after his mother’s passing. It wasn’t the same without her, but he did enjoy the fresh air.
He’d also had a brief time in the spotlight as a model for his father’s fashion brand, but Gabriel Agreste had not looked on his son’s increased freedom and contacts with people his age with a favourable eye, and had restricted any unnecessary interactions.
Adrien was therefore left alone with his thoughts most of the time. Part of him wished he could go out more and meet other children, but he knew from his father he was very lucky to be living the life he was. And it was true he couldn’t really complain: he lived in a palace, by Parisian standards, was well fed, well dressed, and was receiving the best education he could ever hope for. Some people had it a lot worse than he did.
Still, he found himself dreaming that one day, maybe, he’d have a little more freedom. With no one to talk about it with, his father’s assistants all siding with the man who held the money if he tried to confide in them, Adrien had taken the habit of putting his thoughts to paper. It had been sporadic at first, but had soon evolved into a daily exercise. He sat in his bed at night, his gigantic room only lit by a little flashlight, and poured out his emotions.
Dear Plagg, the boy wrote that night. He had started addressing his letters to a fictional friend to make himself feel better. Once upon a time, he had tried journaling, but had soon discovered his inner thoughts were not as safe as he’d thought they’d be in the little notebook he kept in one of his fencing trophies; he’d noticed pages had been torn from flicking through them too fast, some had been cornered to mark certain parts, clearly indicating he wasn’t the book’s only reader. He’d therefore moved on to writing his entries on loose paper, which he hid in a little tin box next to a fountain in the Jardin du Luxembourg. He’d soon taken to the game of writing the letters, even enclosing them in envelopes. Between two visits to the park, he would stash them in various locations in his room, making sure the seals stayed intact.
Adrien tried to vary the contents of his letters, even though no one would read them, and nothing particularly exciting happened to him on a day to day basis. He found it kept him focused on the small joys of his life, like when the cook smuggled him an extra croissant, a fragrant flower bloomed in the garden, or he spotted a ladybug on the window while studying.
He signed the letter the usual way: Until next time, Chat Noir. He read through the letter again, satisfied with the result. Journaling really did wonders to improve his mood. Even if the negative feelings did remain somewhat, it felt good to “share” a little, even though his letters had yet to be found by anyone, or anything. The letter would join the others the next Sunday, and he wouldn’t think twice about it.
Or so he thought.
---
“Tikki!” Marinette Dupain-Cheng chased after the turbulent dog, whose leash had once again escaped her hands while she admired one the Luxembourg statues. She wasn’t very good with dogs, but when her old neighbour Mr Fu had fallen ill, she’d bravely accepted to walk Tikki until he felt better. She’d figured it wouldn’t be very hard, given how calm the dog was.
Apparently Mr Fu was an animal whisperer, though, because the dog had been nothing but excited since she’d taken custody of her. It was cute, but Marinette was also tired of running around, Tikki being particularly good at losing her in the park’s alleys.
The young girl sighed as she saw the leash drag around a corner, and slowed her pace. She knew the Jardin du Luxembourg quite well thanks to its central location in Paris, making it a prime spot to meet up with friends. Tikki had just dashed into a dead end; the worst that could happen was her jumping into the Medicis Fountain, but she hoped the barriers that surrounded it would prevent that.
Turning into the alley, Marinette saw her prayers had seemingly been answered, as Tikki was busy sniffing at something under a stone bench. The Parisian walked up to her, marvelling at the fountain as she did so. The leafy trees surrounding it provided a nice dappled lighting and welcome shade on the hot summer Saturday. The babbling of the water and its gentle sprays only accentuated the cool atmosphere.
Marinette sat on the bench, picked up Tikki’s leash and gently tried to pull her out from under her seat, but encountered a great resistance.
“What have you found there, girl?” Marinette asked, slightly concerned by the dog’s pining. She leaned over and tried to determine what had caught Tikki’s attention, hoping it would be a lost ball. She had seen rats scuttle around the park a couple of times, and had no interest in coming face to face with one, whether alive or dead.
She looked down and saw Tikki was pawing at a tin biscuit box, pushed deep under the bench, almost in the little hedge that stood behind it. Marinette smiled and shook her head, reading the inscription from afar: Macarons. That dog really did only think with her stomach.
“You know you’re not supposed to eat those, they’re not for you.” Marinette scratched the dog’s neck. Seeing that it didn’t divert her attention, she sighed and kneeled down next to the bench, reaching for the box herself. “You know, I’m sure you’re going to be disappointed, I don’t know if you’re aware but most tin boxes these days don’t actually contain food.” She explained, although she wasn’t sure her audience was very receptive to her words.
Marinette pulled out the box, which was a lot lighter than she’d expected. She shook it gently next to Tikki’s ear to prove it did not contain treats, and was surprised to hear a soft ruffle, like paper. She sat on the bench again and laid the box on her lap. Her hands hovered over it, hesitant to open it.
She looked around suspiciously, watching out for anyone trying to pull a prank on her, or just its innocent owner, but the area was empty.
I really shouldn’t open it, she thought to herself. The box looked quite clean for something that was hidden. It was probably used often, or had been dropped off recently. Had it been hers, she probably wouldn’t have liked to know someone had gone through it. Tikki licked the box gently, which Marinette interpreted as “no one has to know”.
“Okay, fine, I’m doing it for you. It’ll be our secret.” She nodded gravely at the dog and lifted the edges of the lid.
She didn’t know what she’d expected to find. Maybe a bunch of little trinkets, like in the movie Amélie. Perhaps a badly hidden stash of money. Whatever it had been, it definitely wasn’t a collection of letters, all sporting the same handwriting on the envelopes. Tikki looked into the box curiously.
“See, I told you so.” Marinette tilted the box towards the dog. “Nothing in there for you.”
She carefully picked the first envelope. It had the previous Sunday’s date on it. Nothing else.
She was about to look at the next one when her phone rang. She jumped at the sound, almost spilling the box’s contents as she did so, and fished the device out of her handbag. A picture of her parents appeared on the lit screen. Marinette looked at the time and swore internally. She’d been out for over an hour, when she’d said she was only going to be half an hour. She hastily put the letters back in the tin, and slid the latter back under the bench.
“Come on Tikki, time to go home.”
---
As she lay in bed that night, Marinette couldn’t stop thinking about the box and its contents. It had just been so odd for it to be there. Who, in their right mind, stored their letters in a public garden? Surely there were better hiding places in an apartment, or wherever the author lived.
Speaking of the author, she found it weird that there’d only seemed to be one, if she could tell from the neatly traced dates on the envelopes she’d seen. It therefore didn’t seem like a makeshift postbox, like the one in Little Women.
She’d definitely have to investigate the matter the next day.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 11 Night time fun and Some truths
Pairing: Aleksander Morozova/General Kirigan x Amira Silina Warning: Smut
He attacked my neck with kisses as I felt so weak and powerless against him but I was able to get away and started to walk away. "No." I said as I started to walk back to the doors but he got ahold of me bringing me back. "For starters.." He said as I was trying to resist against him but my body did not want to as his lips claimed my own as I kissed him back. "I'm over four hundred years old with how strong my small science is."
"You're eternal?" I said as I realized that we were the same, my parents had already told me I would be. As he leaned in and claimed my lips again and then took me over to the couch again as he laid me down as he kissed my cheek and then my neck. The feeling of his beard scratching against my neck only made me want him. "I am and I've been waiting for someone like you Amira." Aleksander said
I knew there was so much more to know about him yet at the moment I didn't care as I pushed him off then undid my kefta as he looked at me. I let it drop on the floor as he smirked in my direction before he pulled me to him. I knew I could tell him no but I just didn't want to as I kissed him. I felt him remove his own kefta then his General coat as before he reached for my shirt and pulled it up as I had to pull away.
When he got it off me his mouth went back to my neck as I closed my eyes. "Beautiful.." He said against my neck as he moved lower and then placed a kiss on my weak spot which made me feel weak. "All mine.." He added before sucking on my weak spot and making me weak. I felt my arousal pool within my core from his actions as I groaned.
He went for unbuttoning my pants but I stopped him as I made myself open my eyes as I  tapped his shirt. "Your not undressing me leaving me exposed and you are still clothed." I said as I was aware that he was used to getting his way but if I was going to keep going with our agreement by our exchanging of letters then I was going to step up to him. He seemed to get the idea cause he pulled away long enough to remove his shirt.
"I'm not keeping you from work, am I?" I asked as he looked at me and held me close. "You have no idea what it's like to serve King after King..I can set my work aside to have you anytime I want." Aleksander said as he kissed my neck again attacking my weak spot as I leaned into him. The feeling of his beard against my skin only added to it as he started to kiss lower and I groaned.
Again his hands went to my pants as he unbuttoned them then slid them down as he left me in just my under garments and I was having a hard time resisting. "I'll take care of you.."
I was so distracted by his voice that I hadn't even notice him swiftly pull my underwear off. He started to kiss me again and I kissed him back as he took his fingers and started to play with a slit but then he pulled away shocked. "You're soaked.." he said as I blushed slightly.
He'd already done a good job on me last time and I was ready for more. "Please.." I begged as he looked at me but then he looked down at my core and he licked his lips. I realized he was up to something and before I could say anything he'd gotten on the floor on his knees and pulled me to him as he pulled my legs apart as I wondered what he was up to when his mouth attached to my core and my head went back. His tongue going back and forth teasing my opening as I whined.
He was enjoying teasing me reminding me who was in charge here and it wasn't me clearly but I could tell he was skilled cause his teasing had me on edge. When his tongue slipped inside I moaned leaning back as he started his pace. He couldn't tell me anything more with his tongue at work as I moaned when it didn't take long for me to release as he cleaned me up before he removed his mouth leaving me breathing hard.
"Anything else you want to tell me?" I asked as he seemed to be debating it before he leaned down to my ear and whispered "Ilya Morozova is my grandfather." He said as my mouth dropped realizing that he was related to Sankt Ilya. Yet I could feel it like it was on the tip of my tongue and I looked at him "Wait a minute..are you.." I didn't know how to finish that as my father has insisted that he was the heretic. He looked in my eyes as if he saw the lingering words "You already know Amira...or someone already told you." He said as I nod.
I knew my father would not disown me for what I was doing but he would not approve of my choices. Yet he didn't need to know what I was doing as I took the chance and flipped us as I smirked. "So what you're saying is you created the fold..very naughty." I said with a slight amused smile. I took the opportunity to undo his pants and I made quick work of removing both from him as he held me. "From your letters, your dad would hate to hear what you're doing.." He said as I looked at him before taking him in my hand as I knew he was right but I lined him up with my entrance. "I don't care. I want this..and you." I said as I thrusted down and took him inside of me.
We both moaned once he was fully inside as he looked at me while I waited a few minutes. He was admiring me but then he reached up to remove what was left "As you said, fair is fair." Aleksander said before he grabbed my waist to lift me up "Ready?" He asked as I nod taking control and thrusting down. He kept doing this for a little while before he seemed annoyed then suddenly pulled out as I whined. "Why?" I asked as he smirked before he adjusted me where I had my hands on the couch arm rest. "Keep your hands there.." He whispered in my ear as I heard him adjust before he thrusted back in and I gasped.
Aleksander's pov:
I had already figured out that I might have ruined her for her not to be able to resist and yet I couldn't resist what I had chosen to do. Having her in this position where I was thrusting into her from behind I knew exactly what I was doing as I smirked. She didn't care about my past or what her father thought..she was mine. Just as I had told by the ring she was already mine and if everything went as planned she'd still be mine if she conceived my child. As far as the royals needed to know she was a Tidemaker
After so long of thrusting into her I could tell she was close but I wasn't ready to let her go as I pulled her back making her hands let go of the arm rest and had her close to me as I thrusted up inside her as I heard her gasp and moan. "You love it, don't you?" I asked as I kept going only harder and faster which only quickened the sounds as she nod. "Aleksander please." she begged as I knew she would as I planted kisses on her weak spot making her moan and gasp as I kept going knowing she wouldn't last much longer and honestly neither would I. I planted a kiss on her shoulder as I started to leave a mark on her that she could cover with her kefta.
When I was done I quickened my pace but I got up by her ear as I whispered in her ear "Ask me once more.." She whined a little but she begged "Please..I won't..last much longer. Make me cum..fill me please.." She begged as I smirked and whispered in her ear "Just remember you asked for this.." I said as I started to thrust in harder and faster as I held her close to my chest hearing her moan. We didn't last long as we both came undone as I breathed with her before kissing her as she kissed me back. I laid back with her just as we were and laughed a bit.
She's mine..the King can't touch her and the princes can't have her. Only I know she's a Sun Summoner...we can find another Sun Summoner to have the royals attention but this one is mine and mine alone. I thought
I knew eventully I'd have to expose her to them but I wanted to find another...surely someone else had to have that Sun power. So I could keep Amira all to myself but I also had to figure out what to do with her. I had a special role in mind for her when it came to being under my service. But to have her in such a high rank I'd have to expose her to the royals which I had no intention to do until I decided.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 5 -The first Gift-
Amira's pov:
I didn't know what he was going to say and I guess that was going to be what to expect. Not knowing as I was sitting with my friends. We were preparing for the fete deciding our routines. Since I was not out I was with the Tidemakers. We were enjoying our time with Fedyor brought the letter to me. I looked up at him as I knew who it was from but I accepted it as I opened it.
A,
I went for a walk last night to clear my mind after all the things we've shared in the past two letters. After you told about using your light at night, I wondered if I could see it for myself and walked outside the windows of the Tidemakers where I noticed a slight glow from your room. Seeing that you can do that but not so bright is still amazing.
You want no secrets? I wouldn't divulge any secrets over our writings but one day you'll be able to hear the secrets no one else knows. Until then I suppose we'll just make conversation through these letters till you wish to meet face to face. I want to make sure you are comfortable with meeting me in person.
Your mother was in 2nd army? I suppose that's fair you wish to keep her identity secret with you being in the Tidemakers. Though if her last name has changed I doubt I would be able to figure out who she was. It sounds like you are close to your family that you keep letters.
The idea of you being speechless brings a smile to my face knowing it can't be easy. I can't imagine why no one would ever look at you unless you have just kept yourself out of the sight. The idea you've tolerated her for so long and not even once wanted to say something is surprising.
I can only wonder what you look like. Tomorrow, I'm setting out to the training grounds to take a look at the Grisha. I always do this but maybe I'll get a chance to look at your face without knowing it's you. Since you stay in a small group there is always a chance I could spot you without knowing.
-General Kirigan
Ah..we're at the stage he can start looking. What else can happen? Uh presents..wait he's going out to the training grounds tomorrow?! I thought
I read over it again knowing this was not what I expected. I gulped but figured I would hold off replying till afterwards. I just needed to see how this played out. So I took the time and waited for tomorrow. I knew my identity was kept secret with just being A so I would keep to that.
The night seemed long as I laid there and waited but soon enough I woke up and got ready. I looked at his letter knowing I'd do it. I'd send the letter back now as I wrote it up quickly.
General Kirigan.
I could not describe what it feels like to have the sun on your face at night nor would I expect you to understand..but as someone who may understand. I believe the people would consider us a perfect match a Dual Summoner who they would look at as a Sun Saint and you a Shadow Summoner who they would call the starless saint. What a pair we probably could be.
I look forward to the day we are able to talk face to face with everything going on. As for your time out in the training grounds, I promise you that when you got out there you wouldn't have noticed me. While I may watch in the shadows of everyone else I have always admired you in a way that can't be explained. Yet I remain in the shadows of everyone else to keep the girls who wish they had this opportunity to write to you.
I grew up with the stories of the little palace but the kefta she has at home was older styled. I used to wear it growing up and say I was going to be just like her. Yet as I write to you I look in the mirror at my Kefta and feel a fraud. I'm blending in with the Tidemakers when I'm also a Sun Summoner.
When ready, I know the perfect meeting place that is green with grass and trees not far. It's still warm outside despite us only so long before the winter fete. So if we don't meet at the place I'm thinking of, you'll see me at the fete. I'll be the one who exits the fete within the first hour after the Tidemaker performance.
-A
I looked over it before giving it to Fedyor to take to him, I needed to get this done and over with for my own benefit. I knew that it wasn't going to be easy to keep my inner feelings from surfacing. I'd been fighting my feelings for the General for years and I've been told to avoid him. I've decided I'm done hiding from him and I will figure this out before I went to the training grounds.
I started doing training with Marie, my Inferni friend as we were practicing Tidemaker vs Inferni. I was focused for the most part but then he came out as he said and I lost my focus. I only was able to act fast with water as Nadia got my attention and I checked seeing I had no burns. I hadn't even used light so that was good.
Go away...get out of my head..calm down.. I thought as my friends led me away and we started talking which distracted me.
Then Aiden walked over as he showed me his letter and it had an A. "You got an A name?" I asked as he looked at me. "Not funny. Fess up you wrote this, you are a Tidemaker." Aiden said as I looked at him and shook my head. "I got someone else so sorry brother but you seem to have a secret admirer. " I said as he seemed shocked and he mouthed 'who did you get?' as I looked at him and my eyes looked over as if I was looking at the wall. Aiden knew if I was doing that they were out there and so he looked as if he was looking at his paper but briefly looked up spotting the General. 'dad's gonna be pissed.' he mouthed but I shrugged.
Aleksander's pov: I wondered if she would reply back but nothing came that night so I figured she would wait. It was when I walked out to check on the 2nd army was I being mindful of the Tidemakers. I watched everyone of them but noticed a Tidemaker and an Inferni going against each other. It was clear that they had done this before but that Tidemaker I saw her look at me.
It was as if she was distracted but she had reclaimed the practice with ease when her friend had yelled her name and brought her out. She was on my list of Tidemakers that could be the possible match for the person I was writing. But as I thought of asking her I knew it was still too soon.
Amira..so that is Amira Silina. I thought putting the face to a name for once, she did have a small group of friends and then I noticed the squaller come over. He accused her of being the one writing to him and she said she was not. Yet she did not answer who she was writing too. As I was about to walk away though some girls came over trying to claim they were the person writing to me.
"Ok, if you are the writer what is your brother's name?" I asked knowing that I could ask questions to verify if they were. "And what was your mother in second army?"
I made sure these questions were loud enough that all the Tidemakers heard as I saw Amira look over. Her eyes seemed to widen at my questions and that made me suspicious of her that she would react in shock since only the writer who wrote back to me would know the answer to the Questions.
"uh...I don't have a bother" two of them said but a two others gave names that didn't match the letter. But all of them had the same answer to my 2nd question "My mother wasn't in 2nd army.."
So it's none of these girls. I thought
I looked over seeing Amira still looking as I remembered the words in the letter. Brother's name is Aiden Nikitin and he's a squaller as I noticed that was exactly who was right by Amira. She also had a small group. Yet when I looked at her I saw her turn and run to Baghra's hut before I could even approach her. I sighed knowing this was not going to be easy and I might be wrong. I would relook at my list of Tidemakers.
It's not really a meeting yet. I thought
When I returned I found her letter as I read over it noticing the way she'd prepared it for after I had gone out there.
A,
You're quite bold to think of the possibility we'd be a couple but I did offer you the chance to have a partner to walk with. The idea that you think so too brings amusement. I would love to see you do this in the night, being right next to you as you call forth the light.
You say I wouldn't have noticed you but I just might have. I was out there with everyone when a group of girls, Tidemaker girls decided to come up and claim to be you. I asked two questions that only the true writer would know. One Tidemaker in particular reacted to these questions and I suspect it was you. Which would mean I know your name and I've seen your face but you could lie and say it wasn't to keep the game going.
There is one Tidemaker who left taking her Kefta, retired to get married. Amara Cortez, I remember her well after she'd been in service for so long. I assume she's your mother and if you are who I think you are. Then you remind me of her except your eyes blue as the sea.
I think that would be a great meeting spot but I want to keep this going so I've decided to give you a gift. I want you to wear it when we meet, I want people to know you are already going to be with someone. People will talk about it since it will show you are mine.
General Kirigan
Once I was done I walked to Fedyor but told him to have a ring made. I gave the description of how it should look and that he knew who she was to have it measured to her size. He went without a word but as I went back to work I couldn't shake the way Amira Silina reacted.
Amara Cortez's daughter...how interesting. I thought
Amira's pov:
When I returned to my room I found his reply letter with a box as I looked at it but instead of reading it first I picked up the box and opened it. I was shocked! This was whole new level stuff as I looked at it.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 4
Pairing: General Kirigan/Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina
Words: 1,594
Summary: Amira and Aleksander are exchanging letters. While Aleksander doesn’t know who she is, Amira only knows him as General Kirigan. When will they meet face to face and what will happen when they do?
Amira's pov:
I wasn't sure what to expect from our General, where I tried to keep things professional he could say anything to throw me off. I had nothing to come back with but I knew that this would be our third exchange but keeping my identity secret was best. I always knew that but I never told Baghra about the letters between us. When Fedyor delivered my letter I took a deep breath to figure out what he might say as I opened it.
A,
To summon the light in the night is something not so easily done since there is no sun light for you to call upon. You draw? When we meet I would love to see what you have done during those nights you can't sleep. Surely, you must feel great about what you are able to do and yet no one ever noticed any lights in the room even with that small amount you conjure with your small science.
Why wait for such a thing when you have opportunity now? I can't wait for the day I lay eyes on you the beautiful two class summoner. If you want someone to walk this path with you then why don't we work together? See where things go as Sun and Shadow can help each other and we can work together to bring what you want to reality but also give you something you might need.
And your mother? Father? Who is your brother in the little palace? Does his name also start with A if you can't tell me right now. I want to get to know you, the summoner who I can imagine is ready to step out into the light. Baghra can be tedious but she means well.
-General Kirigan
As I read over this, I swear I was blushing by the words beautiful on the paper. Still, he wanted to know who my parents are and my brother. It didn't matter if I gave away my mom was Tidemaker and my brother who his name was since our last names didn't line up we could easily be mistaken as friends.
I was thinking of what to write back to him when Marie and Nadia came over with their letters as they were laughing. "What's so funny?" I asked as Nadia looked at me and she smiled. "I think Marie has figured out who she has early, but if she approaches him now it'll ruin the fun." Nadia said as Marie went over and put a hand on my forehead. "You're red, are you running a fever or is that a blush?" Marie asked as she laughed. "I mean, there is one person I think it is and besides...I'm not in a rush to end this yet,." Marie and Nadia then looked at me as I cleared my throat a bit. "I see...I've recieved my 3rd letter back from the General." I admitted as they were surprised. "Oh about that, I heard Zoya isn't happy that she didn't get General Kirigan's card. She's looking for the Grisha girl who received it." Nadia said as I frowned. I avoided Zoya at all costs due to what was going on and keeping my secret. "Yeah, well I think I'll hold off replying." I said.
I waited about a day in a half before I actually decided to sit down and write as I sat down in my room. Sadly it was dark so I didn't have a choice but put my hands together and then form a small ball of light as I looked at the paper.
General Kirigan,
It has never been easy to call the light at night, in fact while I am writing this I have called it again. What I draw is not anything special, just different forms of the same thing..it's nothing to show for. But if I had something extra to show it would probably be impressive. The whole thing has been chaotic dealing with people talking these past two days.
Now? I don't exactly know if you'd like me when you would see me in person. I feel there is some mystery that could be said about you. My family has told me to keep my distance from you and I can't see a reason why. Your offer to work together is tempting to walk this path but I must know I can trust you. Meaning no secrets and that is not something I believe you can offer.
My mother was a Tidemaker in 2nd army, she'd retired some time ago to get married. My brother is Aiden Nikitin though we talk much he likes hanging with just about anyone. Step out in the light? I suppose one must be ready for a day they no longer hide behind things and express who they really are.
I must admit your comment about being beautiful made me speechless, no one says that about me. Most of the male Summoners completely ignore me and I've been fine with that for years. I've lived my life and I'm fully aware of how Tideous Baghra can be but she means well in her own ways. I've tolerated her for many years, since I was eight years old.
-A
I knew it was late so I just had to wait till tomorrow for me to hand it over but then I heard a knock. I went and saw that Nadia was there and she smiled. "I'm giving Fedyor my latter tonight. You got yours done?" Nadia asked as I handed it to her. She smiled taking it "I really hope for the best for you. See you smile a bit more." Nadia said as she walked away as I closed the door.
Aleksander's pov:
I thought she'd reply fast after I'd sent it back but a day in a half was going by going on the 2nd day. I decided to walk the outside of the grounds to look at the windows. I wanted to see if I could see this light she does at night. One of these nights I'd see it and as I was walking looking at the Tidemaker rooms I saw one go from dark to light in the room.
There you are. I thought
The Sun Summoner who was also Tidemaker, only writing the name A leaving herself so mysterious. I still couldn't narrow down who it was just by watching but I saw the light dim which meant someone must have been at her door. But as I watched it went back to the same brightness as I wondered if she was drawing right now or writing back.
When I returned back to my room after my walk, Fedyor was there with the letter as he seemed to be doing late night delivery. "Your letter sir." Fedyor said as I took it. "Tell me, does she seem to be enjoying this back and forth? She leaves me hardly any clues but she seems to be writing responses to questions. "I believe so General. She didn't participate last year or any other year." Fedyor said
With that I went into my room knowing she was going to expect a reply. I didn't have a lot to say with her yet. Not until I read her letter as I sat down to read it, her lack of confidence in what she has showing in her first paragraph when talking about her drawings. The way she directly tells about her family telling her to stay away catches my attention.
Is she the Sun Summoner from the De La Rosa bloodline? They're the only ones who know who I really am...but she's right. I can't get her to trust me unless I trust her or half truth with her. I thought
A,
I went for a walk last night to clear my mind after all the things we've shared in the past two letters.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 3
Amira's pov:
When I received his letter, I was surprised how fast he was replying back to me as I took it from Fedyor. I suddenly became aware that this was my 2nd letter from him and he seemed more interested in me. I knew I hadn't told any of my hobbies but that was fine. As I looked over it I read over his letter he wrote.
A,
It does not matter if you are a mixed breed Grisha what you can do is amazing. Summon the light, the light is hope for everyone but you also have Tidemaker. No one could ever compare, not even a normal Sun Summoner. The idea you want summoners around to accept you must mean you have shared your secret of being a Two class summoner with them.
Everyone has a choice on what they do with their small science. even you who has gained not one but two. It is great to hear that you have trained with both, the saints must be looking down upon you if you made it this far without being detected by any of those who haven't know.
You have taken a risk of revealing yourself to another, but did you expect your card would end up in my hand? I am looking forward to the day I get to put your Grisha symbols to your face and know the person who is. Perhaps with time you will be ready to embrace your true nature of being both.
Things have been busy but Fedyor asks every year and every year I told him no. Perhaps the saints have given me the feeling of something was different this year. Now that I've answered your questions. Perhaps you will answer mine since I am sure you are far from wanting others to know.
Are your parents Grisha? Sometimes Small science can be inherited directly from a parent. Has Baghra known about you all this time and kept you concealed? Do you long for the day you can walk amongst your peers and be accepted for who you truly are?
-General Kirigan
To say I wasn't touched by his words was not the case, I felt like someone actually saw me for what I am...Even if he didn't know it was me. Still I needed to reply back to his letter so I needed to figure out what to write. I sighed not sure what to write so I stuck the letter in my kefta and walked to Baghra's hut. I knew I owed him some answers but I had to figure out what I wanted to write to him. I made sure no one saw me as everyone was focused on their letters and I was going to keep doing everything.
As I walked into the hut I closed the door behind me as I walked down "Baghra" I said as I walked to the chair she had me sit in to wait for her. "You're a tad late Amira, were you participating in the letters?" Baghra asked as she walked. I hadn't seen her yet but her cane was easy to tell where she was before she was noticeable by the fire light. "I am, I received my 2nd letter." I admitted as she looked at me but I knew she'd said to avoid the General so I wasn't going to tell her who I had.
"I suppose this is good to build relationships between your fellow Grisha." Baghra said before she smacked the chair leg which signaled me to get up. "Now call the light" I knew she was going to say that as I put my hands together and then formed a big ball of light. She knew when we were in her hut that I could only do so much but I was able to expand it enough to surround the room for a few minutes before she had enough. "Meet me tonight. We'll practice by the lake." Baghra said
I merely nod as I soon left then walked to a desk to write a letter back.
General,
Most would not see it the same as you have or my friends have with being a two class summoner. They may refer me as something not meant to be here within the little palace. Though everyone talks about how a Sun Summoner would solve a  lot of problems for Ravka. Of course I listen to them but I never get into big crowds.
The saints are the reason I was born this way if it is some test to see if I could handle it I fear they are testing me. Still I adore the light and sometimes I try the hardest thing to form it at night. When I can't sleep I form just a small amount in my room to draw in my sketch book and enjoy the warmth it brings.
What is life without risk? Even writing to you now I risk you figuring out who I am before it is time. Still I look forward to a day when I may be able to find that someone who will accept me without fault or expectation. Who would want someone like myself to be by their side but I fear that day will never come.
Yes, my parents are Grisha and I come from a family lineage of Grisha. My Grandmother was Sun Summoner but in my family we're mixed with Inferni, Tidemaker, and the only squaller is my brother. Baghra? Well she knows the truth about all Grisha and she hits with her cane so it's not like I could hide from her. For one to be accepted by her peers she must first take that step herself...maybe this is my first step.
-A
Handing it to Fedyor I knew what I was doing, Fedyor knew exactly who to give it to. I just had to take a deep breath once he walked away but I knew Fedyor had to deliver all the letters so someone else must be delivering his.
Aleksander's pov:
I was finishing up my plans for what to do next with 2nd army anticipating her reply. It had to have been a her because none of our tidemakers who were men started with an A. I questioned if I pushed too far into her personal life and would she answer. Did Baghra know all this time and never tell me? That infuriating woman would do anything to keep a Sun Summoner from me.
When Fedyor walked in and handed the letter, I was anticipating it not to be very long as I accepted it and left. As I read over it, I was surprised she had a grandparent...but what caught my attention was this grandmother is a Sun Summoner.
Could this be..the Sun Summoner female mother once spoke of with her silly little blood pact? Stays away from big crowds...these are hints. I thought
A,
To summon the light in the night is something not so easily done since there is no sun light for you to call upon.
Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 2 -First Letters-
Amira's pov:
I sat around with my friends trying to figure out what to write since my person was the General. I didn't know what the A stood for but since the rules were the first initial I just had to keep going. Nadia and Marie were already finishing their letters and I hadn't even started. I saw them smile at each other but when they looked at me I looked down feeling embarrassed.
"Amira, what's wrong?" Nadia asked as I rubbed the back of my neck. "I don't..know what to write.." I admitted
Marie and Nadia seemed to sympathize with me but I shrugged, but then Fedyor walked over handing me a paper. I was surprised. "Your first letter." Fedyor said as I accepted it and took it from him but he could see mine was blank and he just walked away. Marie and Nadia got exicted as they move and sat on each side of me. "Well open it." Nadia said as I took a deep breath and opened it.
Hello Summoner,
Your symbols are intriguing, but I did check my list and you are not listed as a Sun Summoner as far as I know. While I may not know who you are right now, I can only assume you are one of our Tidemakers. I question what it may be like for someone to have a dual nature and why you choose to hide who you are? You must feel isolated from the others of 2nd army with having to conceal yourself. Please indulge in what you do to maintain such a silence to your secret.
Are you intentionally wanting to keep yourself unknown for the fear of the pressure that would fall on you? I know that with the fold it must been an easier way to conceal yourself from others knowing the truth. A burden you now have put yourself in with people never knowing who you truly are.
Know if you decide to come forward with the truth to the others, you will have an ally.
-General Kirigan
I read over it a few times seeing his letter was sincere, but I'd already cracked that door I was hiding behind and there was no going back. I couldn't close it again..not like this with writing letters to participate in this exchange. It made me nervous and also worried that he would figure it out within a just three letters.
"He's curious about you...you wrote your true nature on your card." Nadia said as I just nod. I knew I owed him a reply. Marie though couldn't shake an opportunity to tease me "Aw, what if you and the General end up together? That's happened during this thing...every year one or three groups of two end up together..or end up sleeping together." Marie said as I just blushed at the thought now. I shook it off after a few minutes before deciding to write my letter back.
General,
You're right, I am not listed as a Sun Summoner but then I have lived with this burden my whole life. Ravka needs a true Sun Summoner who is not a mixed breed Grisha so I choose to hide within a group of summoners I am comfortable with. Isolation is something I did once feel, but I have friends who accept me so it's not that lonely of a life.
I never intentionally kept anything from anyone but it is my life to choose what I felt was best for myself. A child could not live with such a burden on their shoulders and yet I've known since I first arrived that I would. I had no choice but to choose silence for my own gain of getting stronger. I train hard without someone looking at me and expecting me to push myself until I nearly die.
I don't expect you to understand what it is like for someone like myself to look in a mirror and know I'm playing a part. I remind myself everyday that I'm only showing half of who I am and I've accepted that. But I suppose that I'm losing my need to remain silent...I wanted to share with someone else who I am.
I wonder, you skip out every year of this exchanging letters so why this year? Surely you had other options or did you have a feeling something was going to happen? I'm quite curious and wish to know.
-A
Marie and Nadia noticed when I was done, I smiled as they looked over my letter and laughed a bit. "You'll keep the mystery going for awhile." Nadia said as I laughed before folding it and then Marie took them handing them Fedyor who went to deliver them. I merely just tried to relax.
Aleksander's Pov:
I wondered if I inquired too much with this summoner as I looked over the list again of the ones with the letter A. I knew I couldn't narrow it down by the rules but it still bothered me that a Sun Summoner could slip through my fingers. Still when Fedyor brought a letter, I was actually surprise she wrote so fast as I'd expected she wouldn't have.
"Your letter sir." Fedyor said as I took it and then looked over it. She was bold that was clear by her handwriting but she was signing it with A. As I read her letter back though I could tell she did not feel she was worthy of being Ravka's savior. That had to change now that I knew a Sun Summoner was there within the little palace. She had friends, that was a clue to who she was but did not name who.
The part she said about not expecting him to understand what it was like to play part of herself. He knew all took well with the fact that he was the Black Heretic but played as he was a descendant of the black heretic.
A,
It does not matter if you are a mixed breed Grisha what you can do is amazing. Summon the light, the light is hope for everyone but you also have Tidemaker. No one could ever compare, not even a normal Sun Summoner. The idea you want summoners around to accept you must mean you have shared your secret of being a Two class summoner with them.

Secret PenPal within the little palace pt. 1 - The Sorting bag
I've been in the little palace for years, every year the 2nd army soldiers take turns putting their symbols and first initial in a bag and choose from it. I hear that the General refuses every year due to he's working so they choose among themselves. This went on for ten years and every time the General refused not that I cared since I couldn't participate anyway.
Last year, someone said they almost convinced the General to join in but he refused once again. I didn't join in with being the outcast of the 2nd army. One who hides as one thing when she's two so like the General I bowed out. Baghra said it was for the best but I can't hide myself forever as just a Tidemaker. Marie and Nadia all liked the idea of getting to know their fellow Grisha better and I was glad for them.
This year, the year I turned eighteen was the year I decided to join in with everything going on and when Fedyor came he handed everyone a paper. "Rules are simple, you write your Grisha symbol on the paper and you put it in the bag. I'll shake it and then we'll randomly choose." Fedyor said but then he showed an already folded paper. "This year is special, one of you will get the chance to write letters to the General. Hopefully the one you chose has your paper and has been the one writing to you."
To the General?! Why this year! I thought
I'd already drawn my two symbols and put my first initial on my paper folding it before he'd even said anything about the General. I knew that it was not going to do me much good if I couldn't hide myslef. I purposely bent the corner of my card because there were other tidemakers who had the initial A and when I looked up I saw Fedyor notice that. "You can make yours unique Amira, that way I know your card and I can bring you the letters." Fedyor said
Next we had to drop them into the bag as we watched Fedyor shake the bag well as he went around letting people draw one of the folded cards out. I watched as everyone picked one and noticed none of them were the one I had. As I watching soon it was Nadia and Marie's turn as I had insisted going last as I wanted to see who would get mine.
As I waited till Fedyor was infront of me, I got nervous but I reached in the bag and I could feel that there was only two within the bag. I felt mine so I reached for the other one and brought it out. Fedyor looked as he saw there was one in there and closed the bag and walked to where he stood in the middle. I knew that no one here had my card..that meant the General was getting mine.
"You may open your card to see who you'll be writing to. This is a good exercise to know your fellow Grisha." Fedyor said as I noticed he had a paper himself and so did Ivan.
Please don't be Ivan..I can't stand him. I thought
When I opened my card my heart about dropped into my stomach out of nervousness and slight fear on what to write. There on the card was the darkling symbol with the letter A. While I was nervous and slightly in fear, I wanted to know what the A stood for but refused to ask due to he was our General.
"Starting today, you'll be writing the person you have two days to get your first letter out. You may talk amongst yourselves now." Fedyor said as he walked away with Ivan.
The Saints are playing a joke on us...was it truly random chance that I got the Darkling's symbol and he will get mine? Did everyone else get the opposite person or is it all random? Amira thought
When everyone int he room moved off, I was just looking at mine as I covered the initial knowing the symbol alone was going to tell. Nadia and Marie both came over with a smile excited to share what they had. I looked up at them with a smile. "So who did you get?" I asked them casually as Marie showed me. It was the Heartrender symbol with S on it.  "Nice." I said as Nadia showed an Inferni symbol with a P on it. "You have an inferni." I smiled for Nadia
They looked at me expecting me to share but I blushed slightly as I laughed. "Don't freak out or make a big deal...the other Grisha girls will probably make me regret picking last." I said as they were curious. I lifted it up and opened it only partially revealing the darkling symbol on the paper. Nadia and Marie both were shocked but they nod without saying much and then we walked away the three of us to talk.
"So two days to write your first letter. What will you say?" Nadia asked as I shrugged and knew he hardly knew of my existence. Not to mention I put my true nature on the card. "I..I wrote my true nature on my card." I admitted
The gasps were loud enough as they looked at me knowing I'd hid for years but this was an opportunity to share my secret with someone. Someone I could be myself with instead of trying to figure out what to do. Only problem is my letters were going to the person Baghra kept me away from now.
"Well...he has to guess your name. You can't write it." Nadia said as I was surprise but they had done this before so they would know. "I see. Alright." I said
Aleksander's POV:
I was busy trying to figure out what to do about everything that had happened. I'd spent years away from Fedyor's idea of letters to know 2nd army better but this year felt different so I gave in. I was looking over my maps when he walked in. "General" Fedyor said as I was still looking at them. "Yes, Fedyor?" I asked
Fedyor walked over handing me the paper "This was the last one, it's one of our Grisha girls who declined last year." Fedyor said as I took it. Fedyor excused himself as I looked at the paper. All the Grisha girls I figured I already knew so what would make this one different? They all fawned over me with everything that I had done to gain their loyalty and trust.
I opened it expecting the usual thing of one symbol, as that was what a normal Grisha had was only one. Instead my eyes landed on two, one that caught my attention the most.
Sun Summoner I thought
I looked over all the records of the Grisha at the little palace but none of them were ranked as Sun Summoners. I then looked at the paper again seeing Tidmaker and looked at our Tidemaker list. Most of them I knew but there was only a select few I didn't know and on this list there was one name in particular that was familiar to me. Amira Silina
I can't spoil the rules but let's see. The person is a Sun Summoner and Tidemaker it seems with the first letter of their name being A. A two class summoner how rare...but if they're hiding they must feel isolated. I thought knowing now I just had to come up with something to write and have Fedyor take it to them.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 9 Surrender pt.2
Pairing: Amira Silina x Aleksander Morozova/General Kirigan  Warning: Smut pt.2
I looked at him considering what he just said as he was still sheathed inside of me keeping his seed inside of me as we'd just came undone together and now he was offering to do it all over again. I debated it as I knew that we were not going to be disturbed by any means as I thought of it before I pushed him to lay on his back as I grinded my hips against his and we moaned from the friction. Not only that he was getting hard again by me doing that and I saw the desire in his eyes.
"I hear you're the big bad General..make the Druskelle quake in fear. Make a woman fall to her knees but right now you're on your back." I said as I was a bit too confident. I thought I had the advantage like this but then he gripped my hips and thrusted up inside of me making my knees weak as I moaned. "You forget who you're with Amira.." He said as he kept thrusting up inside of me.
I knew I thought I could take another round but he had me trembling already and I knew the risk with him not using any protection. My mind didn't care as he kept thrusting up inside of me hitting the special spot as I lifted my head back. I wanted nothing more than to have him at that moment and he seemed to be feeling the same way cause he wasn't giving me any time to have. See Amira. you are mine. Now and forever." Aleksander said
I thought he was going to keep me in this position until he pulled out and switched our position as he had me on my hands and knees before he slid back in and we were moaning. I realized he was fucking me senseless and when he'd pulled out that some of his seed had gotten out but he'd only replace it. I gripped the sheets as he thrusted deep and hard inside of me as I moaned. Feeling him pull out just to thrust back in completely made me feel so helpless and my mind blurred.
I could feel it building again and I could tell he was too cause he was starting to twitch inside of me that he put a hand on my shoulder as if he was going to be even rougher with me as we both stopped when there was a knock on the door. I felt him sheathed still inside of me but then I felt him use his shadows as his shadows were getting something only made me curious. Yet when he pulled out I whined but his shadows put something inside of me to clearly keep me from going anywhere as his Shadows also bind me in place.
He also had another thread of shadows get his cloak as he put it on and went to the door. I tried to get free wanting to be there by his side but his shadows held me in place good as I struggled against the shadows. She had no choice but to watch as he opened the door as he seemed to be intrigued in something but then she listened.
"General, you left the fete. Is everything alright?" Ivan asked as he seemed to retain his composure he had at the fete. "Yes, Ivan. Everything is fine but I'm dealing with some business..a meeting with the one I've been exchanging letters with." Aleksander said as his eyes went to me but then he seemed to give the look for me to be silent. I hated it already how he affected me but I did as he said. "Oh, I see. Pardon my disturbance." Ivan said and left.
Aleksander walked right back over to me as he climbed back on the bed and then had his shadows let me go and remove what the shadows had slid inside of me. I gasped as he watched me before he smacked my ass and I didn't expect that. "Ivan could have walked in and seen you like this all sprawled out for me." Aleksander said before he'd already lined up and thrusted back in as he chuckled "Now I think I had you on the edge."
I gripped the sheets as he was rough and he only got rougher as his hand went back to my shoulder and one on the bed frame as we moaned. I knew the risk since again he wasn't using protection but I didn't care. In that moment I only wanted him to keep going as he made me a moaning mess. His hand on my shoulder pulled me where my back was against his chest as he kept thrusting up inside of me.
My vision was becoming blurry from all the pleasure and my thoughts were clouded as I knew that it was only a matter of time before we came undone. "Feels good, doesn't it? You fucking feel perfect like you were made for me." Aleksander said in my ear while he kept going as I moaned. I was trying to hold on but he only smirked "Cum for me Amira."
I moaned as I felt my body react and once again my body was wrecked with pleasure as I felt him continue his rough thrusts as he came with me. Once again filling me as he kept thrusting into me as we moaned. When he was fully spent and so was I we collapsed as he stayed within me again adjusting me so he could let my legs rest on his.
I was coming down from my high as I looked at him wondering what was he really up to since he stayed within me. "Why are you keeping yourself within me?" I asked as I was catching my breath. He chuckled as he looked at me, his dark eyes seemed to mesmerize mine as he put his hand under my chin. "Maybe I'm hoping it'll take now..then you will remain mine." He said as he took my hand and kissed the top of my hand. "The ring marks you as mine already."
I wanted to get up but my legs did not give any sign of moving as we laid there. "I can hardly feel my legs..feels like their tingling." I said as he looked at me with a slight smirk. "Guess that means I've done well if you feel a tingle in your legs. Eventually you won't and you'll be able to leave..but tonight you can sleep here." Aleksander said
I eventually fell asleep as we laid like that for the rest of the night, so when I woke up the next morning I realized he'd slipped out and we had adjusted. I felt his arm around my waist and my back was against his chest.
Baghra will be livid if she thinks I slacked off or left the fete to be fucked by the General...he was right. I feel my legs now but damn..I already want him again.. I thought
I looked down and started to remove his arm as I knew if I didn't get free he'd have me again. He had work to do as the General and I was needing to go. Tidemakers didn't get luxury to lay around and if Ivan found me he would scold me good.
I can see it now, he's going to scold me for being fucked by the General..nah no one is going to know this happened. I thought
As I finally went to get up I felt my wrist be grabbed as I was pulled back down and met eyes with Aleksander. "Did I say you can go?" Aleksander asked as I shook my head. I knew he wouldn't really punish me but I needed to get away from him to keep people from suspecting anything. "Aleksander if they find us...they'll suspect." I said as he pulled me close to him and I felt weak to him.
Aleksander looked at me as he leaned close and kissed me. I kissed him back and before I realized what he was doing he grabbed my other wrist and pulled me back on top of him. I knew he had me as he started to kiss my neck again and I muffled a moan but he lightly bit down on my neck as I gasped. I realized he was marking me as his and yet I still didn't fight back cause I wanted him.
"Saints..Baghra is going to be mad at me." I said
He chuckled at that as he adjusted me and smirked "Once more then you can go." Aleksander said as I felt the throbbing in my core at the temptation and I nod eagerly. Aleksander kissed my neck as he lined up again to my entrance and then he thrusted inside of me. We moaned as that familiar feeling of him perfectly inside of me was brought back.
Aleksander knew exactly what he was up to as he started his harsh pace and I was powerless to do anything about it. I knew after last night he could push me to my limits and even past it as we were both moaning in pleasure. Till the knock interrupted and he stopped within me but the grip he had on me gentle but enough to keep me in the spot. He wasn't going to go anywhere since I was going to training once we were done.
"Sir, Amira Silina hasn't been seen this morning." Ivan said as Aleksander looked at me with a smirk. "No Ivan, Amira is right here having a meeting with me. She's fine." Aleksander said loud enough for Ivan to see. I looked at him knowing this wasn't no meeting with him but Ivan seemed to buy it. But when he kept going I didn't last much longer as we both moaned when we came undone.
After that I needed to catch my breath as he was getting his own breath under control as He wanted to make sure. When he pulled out I felt it trying to leak out but he seemed to wipe it up and push it back in me as I sighed a bit in pleasure. After that we got dressed and I went to leave but he pulled me back and kissed me. "Come back tonight.." Aleksander whispered as he kissed my cheek, the feeling of his beard scratching my cheek. "I'll think about it." I said then left.

Secret within the little palace pt. 8 Surrender
Pairing: Amira Silina x Aleksander Morozova/General Kirigan Warning: Smut He kissed me back as he ever so gently removed the Kefta from my shoulders and I let him slip it off. I made quick work of his own and his General coat since what was to come he didn't need it. If my sister had found out what I was doing she might have yelled I was crossing a line. Aleksander pulled away from my lips to kiss my neck as I shivered in delight feeling my arousal build in my core and I was just left in my outfit I had underneath that Kefta.
"Aleks.." I said
He seemed to know as he lifted me up as he carried me to a couch I had no idea was in there. I was surprised but that was shortly lived as Aleksander's lips met mine again as I kissed him back. When he let me sit above him with him beneath me I was surprised and blushed as I pulled away "What are you doing?" I asked as he smirked at me. "Virgins are fun, you know nothing so I can teach you." Aleksander teased as I glared at him with blush on my face.
I may not know much but I knew what was needed as I reached for his shirt as he smirked at me and guided my hands to lift it up as he sat up. Seeing the muscle underneath him was a sight to see. Somehow I thought he was not really here but then he placed a hand on my cheek as I leaned into it. "Hesitating?" He asked as I looked over him but looked down at what remained his pants..what he kept underneath them made me nervous while I was mostly exposed to him. "A..little..I'm nervous." I said
"Just let me guide you." Aleksander said as he took my hands in his and then guided them down to his pants where I worked to unbutton them as he then had me slide my fingers into the hem of them and slowly moved down where he let go of my hands and worked off the rest. I looked seeing his boxers and it seemed he was also aroused by the sight of me. Before I could even ask he pulled me down as I felt him against my clothed core. "Hmm.."
"Lesson one Amira..your choice of clothes under your winter fete Kefta had an affect." Aleksander said as I realized without even seeing him he was big. I was nervous but between my need and desire it didn't matter to me how big he was. His fingers traced between my expose chest with the top showing more than I would normally. I shivered though cause I felt something cold and looked seeing his ring.
"You wear a ring.." I said a bit surprised as he laughed a bit which meant I hadn't been fully paying attention to every detail about him. "I keep this ring for those who need to be tested..like for instance a summoner who is Tidemaker but also another small science should have been tested." I laughed a bit knowing I'd never been tested "Like I said in the letters. Never been tested." I said as I felt his fingers move down and then touch my exposed stomach as I thought about our future. His hand lingered there a little bit too long as I blushed before our eyes met.
"Maybe I won't expose you to the others right away. I could find other uses for you to keep you to myself..away from expectations and the royals." Aleksander said as I looked at him curious before he flipped our position again and he hovered over me. I gulped a little knowing now he had plans for me. "What exactly are you wanting me for if you're not wanting to expose me?" I asked as I knew I had a right to ask. "Well.." he placed a kiss on my stomach making me blush even more " I can keep you around for my amusement..and let you keep your training in private for a little while longer." but I had my suspicions about him. "You kissed my stomach, why?" as he chuckled at my words "One day you'll understand."
Before I could ask his hand went even lower to the bottoms as he seemed to be amused by the color. I knew he was just trying to tease me as I watched him but he never removed them yet. Then his hand went to my thigh as he had me move to make a bit more room. I watched before he moved the fabric ever so gently as he placed kisses on my neck again distracting me until he started teasing my slit as I tried to stay relaxed. It was when he pushed in that I gasped as he whispered in my ear. "Relax Amira, it's just the beginning." Aleksander said as I did the best to before he started a pace with just his finger and then he added another moving fast and then he added another as I looked at him.
When I went to ask why he was doing this he kissed me as I kissed him back just as he slipped out as I whined from loss of contact. Then the next thing I realized he was moving for the bottom part of the outfit that I'd had on and had me lift my hips as he slid them off of me. I was distracted by the kiss that I didn't even notice him remove his own boxers as he broke the kiss for a second to kiss my cheek before he whispered "This will hurt at first but it will go away." He assured me.
Not even paying attention to him lining up with my entrance I only became aware when he placed another kiss on my lips before he pushed in. I breathed as I felt him push in inch by inch inside of me. Within seconds or minutes I felt his hips against mine as I groan.
Aleksander's pov:
Penetrating her even after preparing her she was still tight, I wanted to be gentle with her for now so I rocked my hips until my hips met hers. I heard her groan and knew she had never felt so full before. I couldn't contain my smirk knowing I fit perfectly inside of her. "You feel good Amira..so tight." I said as she didn't seem to know what to think or say to my words. Having her beneath me made this easier than I thought it would.
I reached for the top of slowly undone the threads that kept her top together, I knew it was time to completely expose her to me while she adjusted to my size. She was looking at me while she was laying still, my eyes met hers as I noticed tears from the pain. I kissed them away as I tried to sooth her "It'll be ok..it'll pass." I assured her as I finished with the threads but waited. It was when she moved her hips and moaned that I knew she was ready.
Amira's pov:
Aleksander started a slow pace for me to get used to while this was all new to me but even after he was being soft I could feel it he wanted to be rough. "More.." I said when I knew I was ready. He looked at me as if he was making sure I knew what I was asking for and I nod as he moved faster and was a bit rougher making me moan.
Aleksander only got rougher with me as time went on and I leaned up to kiss him but that's when he took the opportunity to slide the top part of the outfit right off of my body. He adjusted my legs to wrap around his waist which in turn pushed him deeper we moaned together. Aleksander moved to kiss my neck again as he planted kisses down my neck to my shoulder till he found my weak spot as I gasped. He sucked on the spot as I felt weak but the feeling in my stomach, the one I'd felt building felt like it was going to burst. "Aleksander..." I said as he seemed to understand as he kept going. I leaned my head back completely surrendered to the pleasure he was giving as I moaned before I felt it come undone as it went right through me. My mouth opened but he pressed an open mouth kiss to my mouth as it went through me. Yet he still thrusted deep, hard and fast inside of me as if he was not ready to let me go as I heard him groan pulling away "Saints..your making it hard to.." he kept thrusting into me but then he seemed to slow down as if he was giving my body time.
But then he started right back up since he hadn't even gotten there yet and I gasped and moaned at the feeling. I felt so sensitive that it didn't take him long to have me building that pressure again. "That's it Amira..but this time hold it for as long as you can." He said as he kept going. I moaned in response but that was the only thing I felt like I could do. I lost track of time for us as he kept going before it was getting unbearable to hold it. When he was ready for me he started to tease me as he noticed me squirm. He chuckled at the sight "Let go Amira..come undone with me this time." He said as I nod. When I came undone so did he as our thrusts were in sync as we moaned together.
He collapsed on top of me as we both were catching our breath but I felt so relaxed that I didn't even think about what he'd just done right away. Aleksander looked at me as we were laying there and he put his forehead against mine. "Yes, I think I will defiantly keep you around for a while for my own amusement before exposing you someday to the King." Aleksander said as he claimed my lips in a kiss. I kissed him back before my mind finally registered what he did as I pulled away and looked at him. "I feel different..I felt..you..uh.." I tried comprehending what exactly happened. "Yes Amira. I didn't pull out of you before I filled you." Aleksander said as I knew I'd had this talk about doing this before and I realized now why he'd kissed my stomach. "Are you planning to.." but before I could finish he interrupted. "Impregnate you? It is tempting. You are what I would consider my equal, we are two sides of the same coin even though you have your tidemaker side."
I knew I should have just told him to get off me. To get out of me instead of laying there with him still inside of me keeping his release..his seed still inside of me...I didn't want to move. I didn't want to get up but stay there.
I think he figured that out too as he looked at me. "Keep your legs wrapped around my waist." He said as I did just that. Without removing himself from me he picked me up and took me through a side door which led to his room and then he laid us down. I smiled at him as I ran my hand through his hair.
"We might have rushed this.." I finally said as he just looked at me. Our first meeting and we surrendered to desire. "Do you regret it?" Aleksander asked as he looked in my eyes. Looking for if I was hesitating or worried but I knew I didn't regret it. "No, I'd do it again with you anytime." I said as he smirked at my words.
"How about right now?" He said

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 7
Amira's pov
My friends and I were sitting and enjoying ourselves when they got their letters smiled. "So, have you figured out your people yet?" I asked as they smiled. "Yeah..I have Sergei.." Marie said as she blushed slightly. I guessed things were getting romantic with more than just me and the General. "And you?" I asked Nadia as she sighed. "It's between Pavel or Polina..don't know yet." Nadia said
They got this far already and I'm playing secrets with the General. I thought
"The fete is so close so it's not like you can get by without being noticed anyway." Marie said as we laughed but then Fedyor brought over the letter..no letters! I was shocked but took them as I pulled the hand out with the ring on it and then took them without thinking about it as I opened the first one which was pretty standard reply but it was the 2nd one that made me blush.
"What is it?" Nadia asked seeing me blush as she took both my letters and her mouth dropped as she looked at me. "Girl, you are going to have one heck of a night when you finally meet him." Nadia said as I tried not to think of that.
Needless to say that our letters kept going back and forth for some time but the night came for the fete. I was just wanting to get this over with as I walked over getting prepared for the fete as I looked at the box with the ring. I loved the idea that he wanted to know me and I felt bad for keeping him in the dark.
We almost had met when news of a Tidemaker arrived and I was curious as the others so I'd gone. I saw her and I knew that was my sister, her face was the same as mine. Which gave away who I was but he seemed to just be explaining things to her before they let her go. I'd followed her and the guards when they showed her to a room next to mine. I waited in the dark and then they left as I walked over seeing her jump "Who are you?" She asked as I smiled. "My name is Amira...and I think you're my twin sister." I said as she had dad's black hair. She seemed to calm down before she hugged me and started to cry. "I'm..Sierra." She said as I held her close.
Thank you General. I thought
I helped her prepare and she asked about my letters and ring to which I explained it  that I was in the letter exchange thing and that my person had kind of proposed. She was shocked but we got along well and I helped her prepare for the fete.
Sierra and I  walked in the fete with my friends, things went as they always do we make work of the performance. I waited an hour after the tidemaker performance as I walked over to Sierra. "I'm leaving..this isn't my scene but you stay with Marie and Nadia. They'll make sure you have fun." I assured as she looked concerned. "Are you sure?" Sierra asked as I nod then started to head out making my way to the door way as I put my hand on the wall then stopped as I look back. My hand on the wall has the ring on it and I see General Kirigan scouting the room when our eyes meet. I knew he already had figured it was me but I smiled before I walked in the hallway.
Aleksander's pov
She kept me guessing but she seemed to like the ideas I was saying to her when it wasn't long the heartrenders found a tidemaker girl as I went to greet her the appearance was that of Amira Silina..only this girl had black hair but her facial features matched  that of Amira. "Welcome to the little palace. I'm General Kirigan." I said to her as she was hesitant. "M-My name is Sierra..Sierra Silina." She said as I realized I had her. "Are you Amira's sister?" I asked her but she seemed confused. "I live..lived with my aunt."
Twin sisters separated at birth...but she was tested and she's a tidemaker. So Amira..is the one who will wear my ring at the fete. I thought
I had the guards show her to the tidemaker hall while I made preparations for the fete. Leading up to the fete I was having to deal with a certain problem. I figured it would be easy to deal with, just wait for the performances and then exactly one hour after the performances I scout the room. I see tidemakers walking around but then I notice Amira and Sierra talking. Amira seems bored and I question if I am truly right as I watch her leave.
As I watch her she puts her hand on the wall as I see she's wearing the ring. I see her looking back as if she was seeing if I was looking when our eyes meet as she smiles at me. I realized then I was right about her all along. I knew her name, I knew her face and she was not just a Tidemaker..but a Sun Summoner.
As she disappeared into the hallway, I used shadows to get past the nobles easily able to get to her as she's walking. She looks almost sad as if she thinks I didn't see her. "Amira Silina." I said as I see her stop. I can't tell if she's surprised or not by me catching up on her.
Amira's pov:
"Amira Silina" General Kirigan's voice said as I stopped, my face in surprise that he'd followed me despite his presence being needed at the fete. I hated big parties but I knew while I had my back to him he couldn't tell. Yet I did look at him as he walked over looking at me as he put a hand on my cheek.
My heart felt like it could jump out of my chest any minute with the ideas he'd gave me. I wanted him, I had since I started feeling this. My friends called it desire but I didn't know for sure. He walked closer as he didn't say anything right away. He saw people were staring as he grabbed my hand keeping his grip "My war room now." He said as if he was going to scold me and maybe he was.
As he led me to his war room, he closed the door behind us as he kept hold of my hand. I question what happens next when his lips met mine in a kiss. I kissed him back as my fingers intertwined with his in that moment. My friends had worked with helping me choose something for this moment as he let my hand go to pick me up and put me on the table while we kissed. I think he already knew what he was going to do with me as he started to make quick work of the kefta for the fete as he noticed my outfit underneath.
Tumblr media
They'd made sure it was in his color for this meeting as he looked at it seeming impressed before looking at me. "Is this what you want?" Aleksander asked as he looked at me. I nod as I knew his letters were undeniable, but that wasn't the only thing. He'd reunited me with my twin sister. "Words Amira." Aleksander said as I looked at him. "Yes..but you owe me your name at least." I said as he did put A on his card. "Aleksander...and are you sure? There is no going back if you regret it later." Aleksander said as I leaned close to him "I'm sure." I said as I pressed my lips against his.
He kissed me back as he ever so gently removed the Kefta from my shoulders and I let him slip it off. I made quick work of his own and his General coat since what was to come he didn't need it.

Secret Penpal within the little palace pt. 6 Amira’s gift
When I returned to my room I found his reply letter with a box as I looked at it but instead of reading it first I picked up the box and opened it. I was shocked! This was whole new level stuff as I looked at it.
Tumblr media
This is...serious..this doesn't look like any normal ring. I thought
I opened the letter after getting the ring as I knew that there was not a lot I could say at the moment. Still I wanted to read his response now that he'd given me a gift.
A,
You're quite bold to think of the possibility we'd be a couple but I did offer you the chance to have a partner to walk with.
I felt my face heat up at his words and that he knew who I was, what I looked like knowing I did do all those things. I ran to Baghra's hut to be away from it but I could deny it. I had nothing to give him. Not one thing so I decided to do something else as I got my sketchbook and I decided to give him something only I could do. I kept the image of him in my mind like I did when I was drawing the stag. It took time before I finally finished as I smiled but then noticed it might be a bit too detailed. I looked in my vanity mirror as I knew I'd always been mesmerized by him that I always took a good look when he was around to keep his image known.
I decided that it was good enough as I started to write my letter to him knowing that it would not do me any good to ignore him. I picked up the ring first though as I looked at it again and I took it out to see which of my fingers it would fit. I was surprised that it actually fit my ring finger the one that would be where an engagement ring would go if I were.
I can't wear this in public...but I can't not wear it either. I thought
Despite my judgement I kept it on with a sense of knowing what it was meant for and right now my friends would squeal if they knew. I focused on the writing at hand as I looked at the paper.
General Kirigan,
The ring is beautiful but are you sure that I am the one you wish to wear this? Am I to assume you are meaning this as a proposal or just a claim on me?  I almost want to say I cannot accept such a gift but at the same time I don't think you'll take no for an answer.  As for my boldness it was you who offered to walk this path together.
You think that was me? perhaps it was but I would not be willing to let you know so easily. After all I want to keep the game going for a bit longer. Maybe one day you will see the light at night but that night won't be anytime soon. I did see you out there surrounded by Tidemakers wanting your attention. I felt sorry for them trying to be me to get to you. Must get frustrating girls falling all over you like that. We are the soldiers and you are the General, it's inappropriate unless they are the writer behind these letters.
As for my mother, I cannot deny or confirm the name you say since that would spoil the game. I will say you have my eye color right but that is all I will confirm. Who knows maybe we shall meet sooner than you think. For now I leave a gift for you, something I made myself.
I question though what is it you want in someone? Do you believe in someone having a soulmate? Sometimes I feel like I need something out there..that I should have had a sister. Maybe I'm just home sick after being away from my family for so long.
-A
I quickly made quick work to fold them together as I gave it to Fedyor, keeping my hand with the ring in my pocket. Fedyor just looked at me as if he was suspicious of me but I just smiled as I walked right past him. I put my other hand in the other pocket of my kefta as I walked to see my friends. They both smiled at me but then had a curious smile as they knew something was up. Leading me to our private area they crossed their arms. "Ok, what is it?" Nadia asked as I sighed a bit but showed them. Both of them gasped seeing the ring on my hand, it was clear this was getting serious fast with me.
"General Kirigan proposed?" Nadia asked softly as I put my hand back in the Kefta pocket and shrugged. "I am to wear it at the fete. It feels too valuable to leave in my room." I said as they both nod in agreement.
Aleksander's pov
When Fedyor brought her letter he smiled "Your letter General." Fedyor said as I took it but felt it was two pages. I wondered what she had to say but then looked at him "Did she like the gift?" I asked as Fedyor nod. "I think she's already wearing it." Fedyor said before he left.
She already put it on? I thought
When I opened it I noticed the 2nd page was not a letter at all but a drawing..of me. She had good details, almost too good as if she has been watching me for some time to get these details down. Her skill as an artist was clear to see.
She could have been a map maker in first army if she was an otkazat'sya but she's one of us. I thought
Then I read over her letter seeing that she was homesick...or did she have a sister out there somewhere? A twin perhaps. If I found this twin sister, then the sister should look just like her. But I'd keep that to myself that I was going to ask.
A,
I'm glad you like the ring and I am sure that you are the one to wear it. It was custom made for you with the suspicion of who you are. If it does not fit, you can hand it back to Fedyor to get resized. Would it be bad to propose to someone who I believe to be a beautiful summoner with the power of Sun Summoning and Tidemaker? I know we do not directly know each other but I want to get to know you better.  You are right, I won't take no for an answer.
You are being very secretive now about your self but that's fine. I will play your game for a little while longer before I finally know who you are. As for the light, I look forward to the day I will see it. So you like to watch me from a distance but you will not tell me who you are? How is that fair. Perhaps you are the exception to the rule then.
Mystery, you tell she's from 2nd army but you will not disclose her name which I suppose is fair. Your eyes..if you are who I think they were beautiful, I'd have loved to have a better look at you and stare into them. Your mother, if she is Amara I know she had brown eyes so you did not get your eye color from her.
Your drawing is magnificent. The details are extraordinary which is something to say on it's own as  you seem to have an eye for detail. No one has ever given me a drawing of myself before but you did this without even having me infront of you.
I will answer these questions in a separate letter. I assure you.
General Kirigan
Then I folded it up and set it aside before I decided she deserved to have two letters with knowing my intentions. I wanted her, I wanted to have her the moment we met in person. I needed to know if she felt the same way though.
A,
What I believe is someone should have the right to choose who they want regardless of their position or if they are higher ranked. You probably have saved yourself for someone special? You seem like the type who wouldn't just lay with someone they don't care about. I feel like we've got a connection and you can tell me if I'm wrong.
I do believe that there are soulmates, in fact there are Grisha soulmates. Sometimes marks show up right away, sometimes they don't. Perhaps you and I are soulmates and we just don't know it yet.
As for what I want in someone, I suppose someone to spend nights with and show a good time. If you catch my intent with the meaning good time. There are things I could teach you no one has probably taught you yet. Sorry, if my direct forwardness is bold but the fact I am certain of who you are makes me desire you in a way I haven't felt in a long time.
General Kirigan
Again I folded up this one and sealed them before handing them to Fedyor, my intentions were clear as I wrote it without holding back. Now I just had to wait for her responses.

Darkira (Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina) Pt. 8 Horse ride
The moon hung low in the night sky, casting a silvery glow over the elegant estate of Catalina De La Rosa. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of blooming flowers as General Kirigan approached the grand entrance. He knocked on the sturdy wooden door, the sound echoing through the quiet night.
Catalina herself opened the door, a mixture of surprise and curiosity on her face as she beheld the familiar face of General Kirigan. "General," she greeted with a nod, "what brings you to my humble abode?"
"I hope I'm not intruding, Catalina," the general replied with a polite bow. "I've come with a request that involves Amira. I trust she is still under your care?"
Catalina's expression softened, understanding dawning in her eyes. "Indeed, General. Amira is settling in quite well, thanks to your generous arrangement."
Kirigan nodded. "I'm pleased to hear that. I thought a change of scenery might do her good. However, I've also come with a different proposal. May I speak with her?"
Catalina gestured for him to continue, and they moved to a more private area of the house where Amira joined them.
"General Kirigan," Amira greeted, a mix of respect and curiosity in her tone.
"Amira," Kirigan acknowledged with a nod. "I trust you're finding your stay comfortable?"
Amira nodded, grateful for the opportunity he had provided her. "Yes, General. Your kindness has been more than I could have hoped for."
"I have a proposition for you," Kirigan continued. "I thought you might enjoy a change of pace. How about a midnight horse ride under this enchanting night sky? I believe the stables hold magnificent creatures that deserve to stretch their legs."
Amira's eyes widened at the unexpected invitation. She exchanged a quick glance with Catalina, who nodded encouragingly. "I would be honored, General Kirigan."
With that, the trio made their way to the stables, where the horses awaited. As they rode beneath the starlit sky, Amira couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the twists and turns that had led her to this moment, riding alongside her Grisha soulmate.
Little did she know that this midnight ride would mark the beginning of a journey filled with unforeseen adventures and a connection that transcended the ordinary.
Amira enjoyed the gentle rhythm of the horse's movements beneath her, the night air carrying the scent of blooming flowers as they rode through the forest. General Kirigan rode alongside her, his presence both comforting and intriguing.
As they ventured further into the moonlit night, Kirigan broke the silence. "Amira, I hope your stay at Catalina's house has provided the tranquility you needed."
Amira nodded, her gaze fixed on the path ahead. "It has been a welcomed respite, General. I can't express my gratitude enough for your generosity."
"I'm glad to hear that," Kirigan replied, his voice carrying a hint of warmth. "You possess a unique power, Amira, one that could play a crucial role in the future. I believe these months of solitude will allow you to harness it fully."
Amira couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and anticipation. "What do you foresee for my future, General?"
Kirigan's eyes gleamed in the moonlight. "There are forces at play, Amira, forces that demand the strength of Grisha like yourself. I sense great potential within you, and I believe that together, we can shape a destiny that goes beyond the ordinary."
The gravity of his words hung in the air as they continued their journey through the night. Amira pondered the path that lay ahead, the mysteries of her power, and the connection she felt with General Kirigan.
Back at Catalina's house, Catalina watched from the window as the pair rode into the distance. She sensed the weight of destiny weaving its threads around Amira, and she couldn't shake the feeling that their lives were intricately connected.
As the first light of dawn began to break on the horizon, Amira and Kirigan returned to the estate.
Amira paused, then spoke softly, "Our destinies may be intertwined, but I am just your permanent guest when I go to the Little Palace in less than four months."
Kirigan met her gaze, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Guest or not, Amira, the threads of fate connect us. In the Little Palace, we shall continue this journey together, navigating the challenges that await. Your destiny is not merely a guest; it is a vital part of the path we shall tread."
The night had been a journey of revelations, forging a bond that transcended mere mentorship. Little did Amira know that her destiny was now intertwined with the enigmatic General Kirigan.

Darkira (Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina) pt. 6 Music and a walk with the General
Being under grandma's house was weird but it was pretty easy to get around then Nico was to watch me so it all worked out. Grandma went and got me clothes that were not the kefta or my first army uniform as we were going to keep me secret. So once changed it was fine, and I went about things like usual.
So after a few days we all went to the local area where they were doing some karaoke and I didn't know Aleksander was coming to visit me that day as I sat by my grandmother as we watched people performing with songs and enjoying while drinking. Then I got gutsy and walked up as someone let me choose an instrument at the time and I did. Just as he walked in with some of his grisha, I started to play and sing.
youtube
I was smiling and having fun with it when I saw him and saw he was distracted by my singing. I was just having some fun but it worked out here. When I was done I walked back over to where my grandmother was and took my seat as I looked over seeing him looking at me.
I didn't know he was coming or I'd have came to do this but then we were courting. Everyone ended up standing except him and we all started dancing which I was dancing with Nico since he was in charge but when he spun me, I ended up coming face to face with Aleksander as he took my hand and spun me. We didn't even talk as we blended in with the crowd.
"So, why are you here?" I finally asked as he spun me around and I felt him holding my hands still while I was infront of him. "I came to visit you. Yet, I found out that you're here..and you can sing." He said
I was quite surprised but then I knew he had four months to woo me and I was not going to be some easy target for him.  "General, you won't be able to woo me easily." I said as he twirled me and smirked "I love a challenge." He said
When it was done, like last time he kissed my hand and bid me good night as I left with grandma and Grandpa knowing that at least for now I was able to manage my own. Still I was able to turn in and lay down for the night.
The next morning, the sun cast a warm glow over Grandma's house, signaling another day in this temporary haven. As I enjoyed breakfast with Grandma, the doorbell chimed unexpectedly. There, standing in his usual enigmatic manner, was General Kirigan. He had an air of formality, yet his eyes betrayed a hint of curiosity.
"Amira, would you mind joining me for a walk?" he asked, his tone carrying an unexpected warmth. I exchanged a puzzled glance with Grandma before nodding, bidding her a brief farewell, and stepping out into the crisp morning air.
The town, usually serene, seemed to hold its breath as we strolled through its winding streets. The cobblestones beneath our feet echoed the quiet conversation that unfolded between us. General Kirigan was a man of few words, but each one seemed to carry a weighty significance.
As we reached the outskirts of town, the atmosphere shifted. The quaint houses gave way to open fields, and the sounds of everyday life faded into the background. The silence between us became palpable, broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze.
"You have a remarkable talent," he commented, gesturing to the town behind us. "I hadn't expected to find such a spirited performer in this quiet corner of the world."
I smiled, appreciating the rare compliment. "Life here has its own rhythm. It's easy to overlook the extraordinary in the ordinary."
He nodded thoughtfully, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "Much like you, Amira. There's more beneath the surface than meets the eye."
Our conversation meandered through topics both mundane and profound. He spoke of his experiences, the challenges he faced, and the burdens he carried. In turn, I shared stories of my childhood, the dreams I harbored, and the quiet joys of family.
As we walked, the initial discomfort gave way to a surprising camaraderie. I found myself opening up to this mysterious general, and in return, he revealed glimpses of vulnerability. The walk became a turning point, a bridge between two worlds that seemed irreconcilable.
When he returned me to my grandma's place, he kissed my hand as he'd done many times in our encounters. "Till next time Amira.." He said leaving me speechless and then I went inside

Darkira (Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina) pt. 5 Time with the General pt. 3
I wanted to go after her but my hands were kind of tied with the fact that he was my soulmate and keeping me from going. He walked over to me and pulled up the hood on the cloak as he looked at me. "Come on, we're going." He said as he took me out and I was half expecting just us when Nico was there with our things..and by our things I mean mine and his.
Kirigan got me on the horse infront of him and he looked over at Nico. "You're going to be her protector, to keep her safe and try to keep her out of danger." Kirigan said to Nico who just nod. I looked at him and he looked at me but we both knew our lives were never going to be the same..when Kirigan got on behind me I prepared myself as we were heading out.
"I need to see Alina makes it safely." I said as he looked down at me but she was my cousin and I just needed to see. It was going to be heading the same way anyway so it would all work out as he galloped the horse in the way the carriage went. I knew that I was in for a long journey so I had to be wise about my choices..
Of course when we arrived there was a fight, I felt his shadows but as he kept going I heard her scream..the horse was still moving but I jumped off and I didn't think twice as sun orbs came to me and I motioned them as blades towards the druskelle attacking his grisha as I felt him jump down beside me and he cut a druskelle in half that was about to kill Alina.
"Impressive..you're stronger than I thought." He said to me as I didn't answer him, I wouldn't speak but saw his grisha looking at us since I had the cloak on they didn't know it was me who threw the sun. I walked towards Alina as I helped her up "And this is why we train and don't run off." I said as she looked at me and she smiled "I knew you'd come.." Alina said as I looked at her and put a hand in the pocket of the cloak as I handed her a handkerchief. "Wipe your face, he got druskelle blood on your face..it's gross." I said as she took it and wiped her face.
I heard Ivan in the distance talking to Kirigan "Another Sun Summoner, why didn't you say something General?" Ivan asked as he looked our direction. I kept my face covered but where I was able to see everyone. "She's not to be known." He said as Ivan looked shocked as I smiled a bit and then saw Nico walk over "Well done." He said as I nod. Ivan started complaining a skilled Sun Summoner was useful. "Perhaps, but she's going to train under her grandmother..One who you will respect  and refer as Lady Catalina if you meet her." Kirigan said
I looked at Alina who seemed to be shaking and I led her to the horses "Come on, you'll ride with us." I said as she looked unsure but then I was the one in all black. "So..you exposed yourself.." Alina said as I looked at the horses "Half of what I can do.." I said as I stood with her and then Kirigan walked over to us. "Alina, you'll ride with the tracker, Amira, you'll be with me." He said as he helped me back on.
The four of us traveled until it was dark and then we made camp as I pulled down the hood and sighed. I noticed he'd gotten camping gear earlier as I saw even Nico had some camping gear. "You girls can stay in the sa-" but Nico was cut off by the General as he grabbed my wrist "She'll stay in my tent for safety." He said as he led me away.
Saints, to know we're soulmates he acts like he owns me. I thought
Nico walked over and grabbed my other wrist and pulled me which got me stuck in the middle and get Kirigan annoyed. "She's my best friend and you want me to protect her. That includes protecting her from you.." Nico said as he tried to get me free but then it seemed like a back and forth of who was going to win a tug of war with me in the middle. "Both of you let go or I will kick both of your asses." I said which got Nico to let go but then the General refused and I spun myself to make him let go.
I walked to the tent where Alina was and we both went inside of it and laid down as we slept. I wanted nothing to do with the either of them right now as Alina and I slept. So when the morning came I heard the sound of packing up and Alina woke me as we went out. I pulled the hood over my head again as we kept moving.
This would have made more sense for me to have rode with Nico..he's very insistent on me being with him. I thought
When we came to Poliznaya, the city before Os Alta and I looked seeing grandma's place come into view as we all got down and walked to the door. Kirigan walked over knocking on her door as Grandma answered as she looked at us and I pulled down the hood. "Come in." She said as she gestured us in.
We all walked in and I got rid of all my protection throwing it on the couch as I was in my first army uniform. "Amira is going to be staying with you for the next four months." Kirigan said as I looked around before my grandma spoke. "So you found out about her.." Grandma Catalina said as he presented his wrist with my markings and when I looked back her eyes met my own. "Your soulmate.." Grandma Catalina said as I nod. "Father is going to be livid." I said with no sarcasm in my voice because it was the truth..my father would not like this one bit.
He stayed for merely a few moments before walking over to me and taking my hand as he kissed the top of it. "Our courtship has begun now that you're here just outside the walls." He said as he smirked and then left as I was shocked..courtship? I didn't remember agreeing to one but then I thought about our marks...it was a sign even if I hadn't agreed.
A courtship.. I thought

Darkira (Aleksander Morozova x Amira Silina) pt. 4 Time with the General pt.2
He led me over to the table and pulled out the chair for me as I took a seat down, wasn't like I could just do anything else. At first eating was in silence, I was away from my friends..my things..and here with him. My soulmate..what could I do?
"Sun Summoner father, Tidemaker mother. You inherited both." He said as I wouldn't speak but he knew that from my marks on his wrist. "Amira, I just want to talk to you, I have no interest in risking your safety. Consider this escape from first army a debt paid I owe your grandmother." He said as I looked at him then and about chocked on my food when he said that as I had no idea he owed Grandma a debt.
"A debt?" I asked as he nod "Beyond what your father says, I do honor those who helped me in the past..people like your grandmother..and I don't think she'd want you in harms way. So you'll return to her and in four months, I'll come for you to come to the little palace as my protected permanent guest." He offered
I realized he had no intention to put me at the front, to make me Ravka's savior..and yet I thought of Alina. Alina was trained briefly to be a Sun Summoner but she'd denied her power since running off. "You said I won't leave until after the skiff crosses.." I said as he nod and then he left for a second and then came back with a cloak in his color.
Did you know I would be in first army? I thought
I looked at the cloak, it matched the one he had on when he entered our party, he wanted us to match. He wanted people to know that he was claiming me.. "You'll wear this and stand with me as we watch the crossing happen together.." He said as I took another sip of my drink and looked over. "And the protection?" I asked as he looked at me.
"Name someone you trust to be your guard.." He said as I knew I could pick a Grisha, Aiden or I could pick a human, Nico. "A Grisha and A human to protect you." He added as I looked at him knowing that wasn't what I expected.. "Aiden Nikitin and Nicolas Stark." I said
I seen a scowl on his face at mentioning Nico but I wouldn't abandon my best friend for anything. Plus, my sister would get a chance at being with him so in the end he agreed and said he would arrange it for me though I had my doubts. I still thought of Alina but I wouldn't out her..
After we ate he knew I'd been with the cartographers all day so I was good and he walked me over to a table and had me sit. "Let's see your talent." He said as he sat down some distance. "Draw something.." I looked at him but then saw he had materials there and I started to draw something, at first I wasn't even sure what it was going to be but an hour maybe two and I was done.. He walked over and he was shocked seeing what it was..the stag.
"So it calls to you." He said
I knew it called to all Sun Summoners..it was choosing us all but one would be given it's power. I grabbed the drawing and folded it up knowing that he wanted it's power..I wouldn't give it to him even if I could. "I'm tired..it's been a long day" I said as he nod and led me to a cot in another section of his tent. "You'll sleep here." He said as I looked at him but he nod and I gave in and laid down, I felt him put a cover over me and then walk away but stop before he was too far. "Sleep well Amira." He said then continued walking.
He's not what I expected.. I thought as I slept
Aleksander's pov:
I walked away from her, letting her rest as I went to my table and thought about the plans. I knew gaining her trust was essential but I knew she was hiding something too. I just couldn't figure out what..I had more to do and morning came before I knew it. So I had a meal set for when she woke up and I saw her stir. Aiden had walked in with her things as I pointed where she was and I let them have privacy.
When she came to the table with Aiden, she seemed fine as she ate. She didn't have much to say and then we got ready as I had her walk with me.
Amira's pov:
Wearing the kefta and the cloak, walking with him I thought everything would be fine as I saw grisha who were going on the skiff coming out..I saw one of them glare at me. I figured she was close to him or something..yet he had his arm around me as we walked. He motioned for those going on the skiff to head to the skiff and we walked..most didn't see us as they were too busy getting ready but then I saw my General from first army.
"General Kirigan, I see you have Amira..is she Grisha?" General Yure Teplov asked as I looked at him. "I know her family and it comes to light she's someone I need to protect so after the crossing. She's going home." He said which surprised the General Yure Teplov
I wasn't really saying anything but he looked at me "So, is this true?" He asked me as I looked at him. "Yes, sir..apparently I am General Kirigan's soulmate." I said as he noticed my necklace. I refused to say more, I wouldn't admit to being Grisha. "You got through testers somehow." General Yure Teplov said as General Kirigan spoke "Actually she was exempt from it, her arm was harmed." He said
I nod but looked away but then the first army General sighed "Starkov and her team of Cartographers are going on the skiff..maps were destroyed." he showed me the maps and I ran my hand over the burns.
This is..burned by fire..but this one was burned by sun.. I thought
I kept a neutral look and I could tell the sun burn was faint, Alina truly wasn't as strong as me since she probably did it on accident. "I could have redrawn these maps myself.." I said as I knew how to do it. "You're not going." Kirigan said
We walked away after that and I saw the skiff as I stood with him where we could see it..Alina was on it. She was taking a risk for Mal. "Who is Starkov?" Kirigan asked as I looked over at him. "My cousin." I said as we saw it move.
I knew Alina had been selfish with Mal for years..she ran off neglected her training because of Mal..and when her scarf blew our direction..well I grabbed it since it was close. I looked towards the skiff again and saw her looking back as she met eyes with me and seen I was with him in a cloak of his color just before it went in.
Be safe Alina.. I thought
I sat down by him while he stood watching wanting to see..I needed to hear it if the screams happened..and maybe ten, twenty minutes in we did..but then there was Sun light in the fold. I stood up and I realized it was Alina..and then Kirigan took me back to his tent holding my wrist and brought me in there as he saw the realization on my face. "You know that sun light..your cousin?" He asked as I nod..
He had me sit and later Alina was brought in the tent as he was facing me with his back to them. "Come closer." He said to Alina as she stepped closer. He turned around and motioned for me to do as I wanted..he must have figured it out as I went over to her and hugged her. "Are you ok?" I asked as she hugged me back and said nothing. I heard him approach and then backed away as things went another direction than when I came here.
He did test Alina and she was proven to be the Sun Summoner..as she looked surprised..it was out of my hands. I couldn't tell him not to, I can't tell him what to do and Alina begging me to speak up. "Cousin.." Alina said to me as Kirigan looked at her and then over to Ivan. "Take her to the carriage. Escort Ms. Starkov to the little palace." Kirigan said
Ivan nod and then looked back at me who was still behind Kirigan "And the other one?" Ivan asked as Kirigan looked at me and opened his hand to me. I hesitated but took his hand "Ms. Silina will be heading home. For the next four months and then she'll be brought to the little palace as my permanent guest." He said as they nod.
"Tell them.." Alina said as she knew I was a Sun Summoner too but I didn't need to tell them. Kirigan knew already and I had to keep quiet. "Amira, don't do this tell th-" but I stopped Alina "He knows already.." I said as they took her away..
I'm sorry Alina.. I thought
