Something I almost forgot to talk about is that fact that I finally finished reading the Symmetra short story, it was good! It kind of cemented for me that she's going to end up joining Overwatch, but something that interested me was her interactions with Sanjay and how they contrasted how he's presented in the comics.

We know that Sanjay in a member of Talon, inner council to be exact. But he doesn't really act like the other inner council Talon members, specifically his motivation seems to be purely in the interest of Vishkar and making what he sees as a better place. This directly conflicts with the rest of the councils motives, both Doomfist and Reaper believe in the ideology of only though conflict do we evolve, with a dash of wanting to make a change from Reaper, Moira is loyal to science and progress, she believes in it at any cost, Max seems to be in it for the finer things in life.

But from what I've seen of Sanjay he doesn't seem to really fit with the rest of the inner council, hell even in the picture of the inner council he kind of stands out;

Not only that but he's separate from everyone. Something else to take note of is that he genuinely seems to care about Symmetra, and to me he seemed influenced by her actions in "Stone by Stone";

Do I think this means he'll change sides? No, in fact, I think this might mean he'll die saving Satya from Talon. We see that he is effected by her words, words that actively go against Talon's goal. He says that she's right.

So I think if we see Sanjay again it's going to be him saving Satya and maybe even Niran, telling them to join up with Overwatch, giving them some info on Talon to give to Overwatch, and giving his life.

Now this is probably a far fetched theory, he might just end up being a mother Gothel type character, but I think that if this were to happen it would be interesting character growth of Satya. Not only that but the death of a character would be such a turning point for the story, it would show that yes, this is a war.

People will die and others will be effected by it.

Even if my theory isn't true either way Sym will be effected, like imagine finding out that someone you looked up to was working with a terrorist organisation? No matter what happens Satya is going to be devastated.

GOD Hero Ascendants need to come out sooner just one short story please-

What made you ship it? well that would be when one day in october tumblr user mammutblog, who had only ever encountered the quite twinky and fruity jason from wayne family adventures up to this point, said "i think it's funny if jason is the only straight one in the family" to which the entire gc very politely said, no fucking way. and then tumblr user tigerjpg said "i think he should have a boyfriend" and then santi sprung fully formed out of the top of their head like athena.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship? i just love thinking about jason having someone outside his family who loves and understands him, someone who didn't know him before he died and therefore can't be disappointed in who he is now. someone who matches his viciousness, who grew up in gotham like him, who sees all the ugliness and still finds things that are beautiful and worthwhile. someone he can be silly and lighthearted with, someone who's always on his side and no one else's. also someone who's fucking normal for once

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? i think any opinion about sanjay is an unpopular opinion so i'll say that i think jason has a normal sized cock and santi appreciates that about him
