Off and on, as the Ashe body has allowed, I've been working on some shenanigans. One of these said shenanigans reminds me that I really need to draw some new pieces with Sal and her telescope. 🔭🌌

(It's a piano, it's Sal; it's a thing. The opportunity is absolutely there, should Wagnas ever wish to attempt piano-ing with a pianist, one day.~) 🌌🎹

Drawn irresistibly to the piano, Wagnas approached the instrument that had initially lured him to this location. His intention was bold yet clear: to claim the piano for his own, envisioning it as a solace at the Den of Umbrage, a companion for his contemplative moments and sleepless nights.

Leaning over the piano, he regarded the expanse of ivory keys with a mix of apprehension and awe. Words and poetry were his comfort zones, music a language he couldn't decipher, yet its essence-- steeped in emotion, often in pain-- was something he deeply comprehended.

Gently, he pressed a key, and the piano sang for him, a soft, almost mournful note.

B... A B C D E...

He settled onto the stool, his fingers tentatively exploring the keys once more.

B... A B C D E...

B C B A... ...

There was a hope, a silent plea, that the inhabitants of this place, were there any, would permit his intrusion and his novice attempts at the piano. If they objected... Wagnas was prepared to employ his own methods to ensure his continued practice remained undisturbed.

Sharing this old thing over here as well, since, apparently, the Xitter likes it!

It's a mood. Just… sending out all the good vibes that I can and casting some hopes and wishes out into the sky. For everyone I can think of, including myself. That sort of thing. ☄️💜

And as I mentioned in the comments there: I know that's Sal there along with a respective story (FFVII fanfic "The Anomaly") but I sometimes think it's fun to imagine this being a sort of YCH (your character here) situation as well.

Like, feel free to imagine your favorite sharing a hug with Seph for any reason too. It's always allowed anyway, but still. 🫂💜

Sharing this here to fill the void too, since folks seem to like it + I still just love the way this part of it was composed. I absolutely want to replicate something similar to it in the FFIX shenanigans department. 💙

A bit of old FFVII fanfic (The Anomaly) art. 🕰️

(Also, I say I want to replicate it, even though I've like... both created and started more than a few pieces that portray a similar tenderness. But I am greedy and I want that tenderness too, I suppose... haha!

I want to try replicating that style as well, though! It was a unique one in how I treated the lines - might be fun to do again! I could even see that being used for the last/bottom right 🌌🌹💜 WIP listed up there, seeing how that WIP is being designed as a design vs. illustration anyway. Imagery like that could work well with it.~)

Don't let your dreams be dreams. 🤠🗻

Aaand throwback to... this! What's this? Good question, what is this... 🤔

So, around this time last year, I went on this whole tangent of trying to translate a dream (literal fever dream, by the way) I had shortly before it. (Which you can actually read here, should you wish to!)

Ultimately, I took most of the contents from said dream and meme-ified them in this sketch with some Photoshopped assets. (Namely, the motorcycles and truck. I WASN'T about to spend my time sketching those out for... this. Hahaha!)

Since then, this single bizarre dream has given birth to the entity that some Twitter folks helped to name "Yeehawphiroth" and an entire wild and wacky AU with other peculiar AU versions of the characters involved!

What symbolic fruit are you ?

Apple

The apple is most commonly known for being associated with the forbidden fruit that Eve eats in Catholicism which casts her and Adam out of heaven: original sin. However, apples are also symbolic to Pagan fertility goddesses, the seeds of which are five and showcase a pentagram when cut horizontally. The apple in any case, represents wisdom and knowledge, independent desire and curiosity. You are someone who seeks to understand the world better. You believe in independent thought and asking questions which to some may be hard to answer. There's been times where you may have persecuted for being different from how others expect you to act, but have never let that stop you from speaking your mind and taking what you want. However, be wary of leaping into things you don't understand. Knowledge is a wonderful, illuminating thing, but knowing too much can be a burden to some.
