That was really solid! I loved that they gave the Gwens a fun moment, asking out Mateo. It was real cute and worked so well! The fight was great too! It bounced back and forth well. I’m excited to see what’ll happen next!

Rating Spider-Man Suits of my favorite characters in order from worst to best

(This is just my opinion pls don’t get mad unless it’s funny)

No. 9

I hate this suit with a blazing passion it’s dumb little blue hood mocks me

No. 8

It’s fine I guess? It just does nothing for me and I hate the fact that all of the black is on the top and none on the legs it makes the whole thing feel too top heavy

No. 7

OKAY. OK. Put the pitchforks away, I actually love this design, how could I not? It’s the classic, the very first and the standard to which all Spidey-Suits are judged, I just don’t like it as much as the others. Still, clean and simple, there’s a reason it’s one of the most iconic designs in history

Same deal as with number 7, I just like it more because of the bigger eyes and how the red doesn’t trail along the arm to the gloves

Simple, stylish, communicates how Miles is carrying on Peter’s legacy while still being his own character! A wonderful design that deserves icon status equal to the OG Spider-Suit

Beautiful, elegant, and so different from the usual Spider-Suit. It really makes and impact and the color design? Immaculate. What else can I say, it’s Spider-Gwen!

I love this design with my whole heart. It encapsulates that, while Ben is acting as Spider-Man, he is is own character distinct from Peter, which is all the more potent because, as Peter’s clone, being his own person is a huge part of his character! Also it’s just a super cool design and I applaud the artist behind it

Characters that I think should star in a Spiderverse Fanfiction

Ok so in previous chapters I wrote about characters that Miles Morales would meet, team up with, or fight as Spider-man. Mostly Bailey Briggs aka Spider-Boy and the Gwen clones from the Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clone saga. And in some Spiderverse stories he is seen fighting the Tinkerer (Phin Mason) from the Spider-man: Miles Morales video game. However, there are many more characters in the Marvel comics that may not be as well-known, but I think should be featured in a Spiderverse fanfiction. Maybe Miles can team up with them, maybe he can fight them, the possibilities are up to you the fanfic writers. So here is a list of Marvel characters that I think should star in a Spiderverse fanfiction and why. Hope you enjoy.

1.) Ellie Ellison aka Necroko from the "Extreme Venomverse" Comics Ellie Ellison is a shy high school student who had bonded with a Venom symbiote and became a Sailor Moon-themed superhero known as Necroko. When I first discovered her, I never thought someone could look both scary and Adorable at the same time. For more information about Necroko you may check out the link below.

2.) Itsy Bitsy from the "Spider-man/Deadpool" comics Itsy Bitsy is an unnamed woman that willingly let herself become mutated with the combined abilities of Spider-man and Deadpool. Now in the original comics Itsy Bitsy almost gaslighted Spider-man into killing her which caused Deadpool to intervene and stop him. But in a Spiderverse fanfic I was thinking maybe instead Itsy Bitsy would be kidnapped, forcibly mutated, and have her mind erased. Which would then lead Miles to discover her and team up with her while trying to help discover who she used to be. As for her personality I was thinking she would be like DC Harley Quinn, Crazy but funny. For more details about Itsy Bitsy you may check out the link below

3.) Billie Morales from the Miles Morales: Spider-man comics Billie Morales is basically Miles Morales baby sister that was born when Miles is in High school. It would be interesting and fun to see how Miles tries to handle school, Spider-man and being a big brother. Plus, I'm sure the rest of the Spider-Gang would absolutely adore her, and Mayday would love to have a new playmate. See the link at the bottom for more details.

4.) New Agent Venom Variant In the Marvel Universe many people have taken up the mantle (and symbiote) of "Agent Venom" People like Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock, Anne Weying, Eugene Thompson, Even Peter Parker. But I have an idea for a new OC Agent venom and that person is Addy Brock. Now Addy Brock was a character in the "Edge of Spider-Geddon" comics. She was a student with Peni Parker and the pilot of the VEN#m suit. Unfortunately, she was killed when the VEN#M suit went rouge and consumed her along with Peni's Aunt May. I guess this was considered one of Peni's "Canon Events". It would be interesting to see how Peni would react to meeting a new Variant of her deceased friend with a perfect bond with her symbiote, since I'm going to assume Peni would have some form of PTSD with any kinds of symbiotes.

5.) Gwenpool from the Gwenpool comics because why not?

6.) The Guardians of the Galaxy

This one is mostly because hey, Space Adventure so why not you know?

Hey! I’m a fairly new fan to Spider Gwen and I’m wondering if you had recommendations on where to start for the comics? Thank you!

hi hi! so awesome I love her books a lot! imo they're some of the easiest marvel comics to get into because they rarely require deviation from her own solo series. and a few years ago they released an omnibus so all of Spider-Gwen (her first solo run) is there! recommend picking that up (or y'know, alternate methods), and um honestly if you don't want any more information then stop reading this post! read the omnibus and stop there.

but anyways here's more information if you want to read more than just that. after her first issue (Edge Of Spider-Verse 2) she's in the Spider-Verse event. Which I wouldn't say is essential reading, but she's there if you want more with her and more context! and in my personal opinion that event is kinda nothing and you don't miss out on needed context for the rest of her solo run.

included in the omnibus are two other crossovers, one with Miles (that personally I don't care for at all! but it's not bad it's fine) and one with Silk and Spider-Woman. if you aren't reading the omnibus for some reason, you're gonna need to detour after Volume 1 (which is technically the second volume because there's a Volume 0, so sorry that comics are so confusing) and read the Spider-Women crossover. you don't lose out on any necessary context from the crossover with Miles (Spider-Man/Spider-Gwen: Sitting In A Tree), but that's between Volume 3 and 4 if you're interested.

after the first run she kinda gets passed around to different writers and a lot of her story feels directionless. but if you want to keep reading her books, next is Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider and then Ghost-Spider, both by Seanan McGuire. they're still pretty decent and have some really interesting stuff, but they get cut short and so many things introduced just get left there. if you plan on reading those, I recommend reading Spider-Geddon as well. it happens in the middle of the first volume of Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider, between issue 3 and 4.

I wouldn't normally recommend Spider-Geddon because I don't actually think it's that good, but Gwen experiences some trauma there and has to deal with the consequences in her solo run so unfortunately it's kinda important context.

She's shown up in some other things after that I'm pretty sure??? (like maybe some Spider-Man issues probably) but I never bothered to read any. there was Spider-Gwen: Gwen-Verse last year. which I own but I haven't read more than one issue because I didn't like it.

though I obviously don't know anyone else's personal tastes, if you want to read all there is go for it. but I find the ending in her original run satisfying enough and anything after that feels unnecessary and unfinished.

currently they're releasing Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones, which I also haven't read, but it exists and I highly doubt it would be a good introduction to the character. so probably don't read that unless you've read everything else?

“Hey!” He yelled, standing up from the plush seat. “ Where the hell am I?” No one answered. The movie screen flicked on and a message came up. ‘Welcome. Have a seat. The others will be here shortly.’ Others? He wondered, looking around. He was being abducted. Great. He tried the doors and every possible exit but they wouldn’t budge. Peter decided to climb the walls and take a seat in one of the shadowed corners of the ceiling so he could see the ‘others’ arrive. He nearly fell when the first two appeared in seats. It was Peter 2 and 3. Here. Peter heard them talking to each other, asking each other what was going on. They sat next to eachother, clearly on edge. With a pop, three more people appeared, closer to the screen. Peter couldn’t believe his eyes. Steve, Natasha and… ‘mr stark’ he thought, trembling with fear. Were they clones? Something else? Just as Doctor Strange and an unknown girl appeared, Peter decided he’d had enough. He let the suit crawl over him and he spun a web down the ceiling, lenses squinting. He looked atethem with upside down vision. “Who are you?” He asked, looking back and forth. “Clones? Drone holograms?” Tony nearly choked. “Underoos?” He asked tentatively, peering up at the intimidating figure. “Peter 1?” The other spiders asked, shocked. Peter realized they were the real deal. “Mr Stark?” He gasped, flipping onto the ground. The words felt odd in his mouth, he was a grown adult now. Dr Strange and the girl looked between the group. “Spider-Man?” He asked, stepping forward. “Jesus.” Peter muttered, shaking. “Anybody got a light?” Everybody’s mouth dropped open. Spider-Man? Smoking? Peter 2 pushed past the others. “Peter, you have to take that suit off now, it’s dangerous. Trust me.” He grabbed his shoulder. Peter flipped him over on his back with ease. “Sorry.” He said sarcastically. “Reflexes.” Tony was mortified. What had happened to his kid? “Pete, calm down. You’re just a kid.” Spider-Man seethed ripping off his mask. “Am I?” Everyone stepped back, shocked. The face behind the mask was older, more handsome and intense. He was still Peter Parker, but his eyes were haunted. “I turned 21 two months ago, Tony.” Nat, Steve and Tony gasped. He called him Tony? What happened to Peter? “And none of you should know my name.” He said, stepping closer to the back. “Woah, woah, woah, calm down. Give Spidey some air.” A gravelly Canadian voice yelled, and everyone turned to a man in red and black leather. Peter sighed in relief. “Hey ‘Pool. Do you have a light?” Wade smiled, handing him a lighter, which Peter took. He quickly lit up, looking at the faces around him, stopping at the Avengers. “You’re supposed to be dead.” He said, turning fully towards the Avengers. “What’s next? Are they gonna bring in everyone? May, MJ, Ned, Happy, Gwen?” His voice broke on the last name. Peter 3 almost dropped Peter 2, who he had been helping up. He lost Gwen too. Wade pulled Peter to his side, stepping in front of him in a protective stance. “Pete, kid, what happened to you?” He asked, voice breaking. He snorted. “What didn’t?” He mumbled, so only those with super hearing could hear.
