— ROLEPLAY RULES.

(for anyone interested / for anyone I reach out to!)

* Little note, but, i have a 6+ years experience of roleplaying! However, it’s been a little while since i’ve done any roleplays due to quitting for a good chunk of time (not just roleplaying but getting involved in fandom communities for a while) so i’m only now getting back into the swing of things, please be patient with me!

ACTIVITY:

• on the weekdays: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

• on the weekends: 10 a.m. - whenever

RP STYLE:

• semi-literate to literate (occasionally; if the roleplay goes really well, novella)

— No original characters please! for the sake of my personal reasons, please do not come into my pms asking to do anything regarding an oc, whether that be a ship with another oc and/or canon character, or even something platonic.

— Absolutely do not be overpowering or make any attempts to godmod. To put things simply, this is when you control someone else’s character (who isn’t even yours / the one that you’re musing). Trust me, i’ve already had bad experiences with people who do this and it isn’t fun at all. I’ll leave the chat immediately if I notice that you’re doing this.

— Please be in the semi-literate, literate, or novella range when you ask to roleplay with me. it makes it so much easier on my part as it gives me something to work with. that, and it keeps things interesting. (for reference write 6+ lines)

— If it seems like i’m taking a long time to respond, please do not spam me. At the moment, i’m a full-time college student, I am constantly busy during the week due to the fact that I’m a film major with back-to-back assignments/projects as well as the fact that I have club meetings. I have time occasionally throughout the day to work on replies, though, the chances of this are slim and what would happen is either: (1) i’m able to reply while i’m at school or (2) i’m able to start writing a response from home or while i’m in school, and send it once I get back, or, if it’s one of those really busy weeks — probably complete and send it on friday or the weekend.

— Adding onto the thing mentioned above, if it’s been a week or so, feel free to shoot me a message to check-in! Although i’m pretty good about getting back to people, I make mistakes sometimes too and accidentally forget.

— Do not message me asking to roleplay if you’re under 18.

Roleplay Rules!

Status: Semi-Open as of November 2nd, 2023

Feel free to DM me or ask any questions in my inbox! I can't guarantee that RPs will start right away, but we can definitely start setting things up.

In order to RP with me, you NEED to send me the hidden phrase in here so I know you actually read the rules. If not, I will not RP.

Literacy Style:

Literate to semi-literate. I like to write in multiple paragraphs, both with detail and somewhat dialogue heavy. If you’ve seen my writing, it’s a lot like that! I expect potential RP partners to follow in suit/match.

It seems as of late that I prefer literate with multiple paragraphs and details.

I’ve been RPing since I was like, 10. If I see *she smiles* it might summon rage 💀 /hj

Where We Can Talk:

Just starting off? Tumblr DMs! I won’t RP in the comment section of a post.

You can now ask for my Discord. It’s where I’m most active.

Slots:

Don’t really have a cap off but it becomes too much at once I will be sure to let you know.

Genres and Plots:

Almost anything and everything! However, towards strangers and people I’m generally unfamiliar with, SFW are going to be the topics I steer towards. Adventure, drama, horror etc. are all fine the first go around.

I’m pretty flexible on genres so like, hey don’t be afraid to suggest it.

NSFW, I like writing smut, I just need to like you as well lol. Not a slight on your behalf, but I will let you know whether smut is a possibility or not.

NSFW will only be done with other 18+ adults who have verified they are in fact, adults. I absolutely refuse NSFW to “ageless” accounts and minors.

Honestly I don’t want to RP with minors so if you’re a minor, don’t message me. Don’t do it. Thanks.

Pairings:

Gets a little odd here, I don’t actually ship anything, if that makes any sense? Like, canon character X canon character just isn’t in my repertoire unless they’re already an established couple or the franchise is heavily leaning them that way.

That said, I’m totally cool with self shipping and OCs X Canon characters. (If self ship, it has to go both ways. Sorry I’m a simp too 😔)

Platonic, familial, those work best though especially if I am unfamiliar with you as a person.

Honestly I’m not as veered towards romance unless you’re a good friend of mine.

Do:

When first DMing, send me memes to help break the ice! I’m pretty good about speaking to people, but I understand how awkward it can be

If you’re using an OC, please tell me all about your OC! If you have any reference pics etc, send them so I can describe them during the RP.

If you’re playing a canon character and you’ve changed anything about them that’s notable, feel free to mention their quirks, and the lore building you’ve done for them.

Tell me if it gets to be too much or if you wish to change directions. I want you to feel safe and have a free voice during the chat. If something doesn’t click, tell me.

Please talk to me about the RP plot before we start! That gives me a good direction on what bases to hit and which lines to not cross. Your boundaries are just as important as mine and I want to respect them.

Use brackets or some other notation to let me know you’re speaking out of character! I’m very prone to using []

Understand that you can leave for a while and don’t need to apologize. Genuinely, I know you’ll get back to me. If you don’t think you will or it’ll take longer than expected then let me know. I know people get busy, so it’s honestly no problem.

Don’t:

Do NOT ask to RP if you are a minor. I do not wish to RP with minors.

Send me unsolicited NSFW or a starter without any conversation prior to. It’s just kind of ???? On my end.

Do not godmod HEAVILY. I’m okay with like, “and he helped her up and watched as she walked over to the desk.” But fully godmodding is a no.

Send one liners. Self explanatory.

Wildly deviate from the plot in bizarre ways. Like, making things NSFW all of a sudden or cause angst when there was none. I hate saying “Mary Sue the RP” but do not Mary Sue the RP.

Please don’t be upset when I take a hot minute or two to respond. I’m a person that has a life outside of her phone and is actually prone to migraine if I look at screens for too long. I will always get back to the RP unless I say otherwise.

Be pushy for a character or a pairing I said no to.

Go too OOC for canon characters.

Ask for things like rape, beastiality, common DNI criteria.

I understand RP can be therapeutic but remember, I am not a therapist and the RP we have is not substitute for actual mental health help.

Other Things:

Please use third person, past or present tense. Usually past tense.

I feel it goes hand in hand with literate RP but use “speaking” for a dialogue and ‘thinking’ for thoughts.

Try not to rush anything! Let it happen naturally and it’ll all play out.

Don’t be afraid to talk to me outside of the RP either. Like, it’s a personal thing we’re probably going to become friends.

Some Examples of My RP Style:

Mind you, not all of these are going to be extremely long. Things tend to taper out.

All of these examples were lifted directly from one of my RPs.

November 2nd, 2023: I swear not all of my replies are going to be like this. I'm immensely more busy now.

This is a starter:

A young princess sat on the balcony of her mother’s grand palace. The stars of the night were absolutely gorgeous as her dark eyes peered upwards, tracing constellation upon constellation. There, she could see the proud statue of Amun and feel the loving gaze of the beautiful mother goddess, Hathor. Strings upon strings of stars hung in the sky and bathed the desert in a warm white and blue gold, illuminating the darkness so she could observe the night life of her people. At barely eighteen years old, the young princess had been coming to a very startling conclusion as she stared out at the houses amongst the dunes and the boats and their ferriers on the Nile: that one day, all of this would be hers. The thought scared her, as ruling over such a people with the same authority as her mother and her mothers before her… The burden was crushing in its own right.

Sameera, the current pharaoh of Egypt and seated daughter of Isis and Ra, had been gearing her only daughter up for greatness since she had been brought into the world. The palace had served little as a home and more of a house of education, gearing up the little girl for a future in which all would bow down to her. Sameera has been, and will be considered a bountiful ruler. She ushered in an Egypt in which magick and divine favor rained down on the land, where suffering was lightened, and where pain had been naught but a bruise.

To give her daughter, Tavi, a taste of what it would mean to be the seated pharaoh and begin expanding her power besides running the palace, Sameera had placed her in charge of the Festival of Hathor. The festival in itself being amongst the most important task Tavi has been held in charge of to this date. In the morning, Tavi would be heading out by herself to Dendera, the main site of Hathor’s cult and preside over it, and of course, ensure it passes smoothly.

It sounds so simple: let people get drunk and feast, make merry, and enjoy singing and dancing in the company of others, but Tavi has never been a part of such importance in ritual ceremonies. She’s only ever observed, and even that in itself has been something hidden to her as her mother finds the merrymaking beneath her real education under the watchful eyes of Thoth.

Tavi sighs deeply and rests her arms on the balcony for just a moment more, already intending to head back inside and rest for the night before one of her lady maids interrupts her train of thought.

“My lady,” the finely dressed woman begins. “You have a visitor.”

Tavi’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise as she crosses the balcony through the cool night air to come to her lady maid’s side. “What? Who on earth would come to my quarters at this hour?” She inquires, more curious than angered at the thought she has a visitor.

The woman bows her head in the princess’s presence as if to silently ask her if she should address the visitor. “I believe it pertains to the Festival of Hathor, but it was not my place to pry,” the lady maid continues, her voice soft and sweet. “Shall I tell them to leave?”

Tavi blinks before shaking her head. “No, you may leave. I’ll handle this,” she replies warmly, her hand resting on the taller woman’s shoulder. “Go, get some rest,” she hums.

The lady maid nods, thanks her princess, then exits out the servant’s entrance, leaving Tavi to her own devices.

The young princess brushes back some of her black hair, wondering who would ask audience with her so informally and so late at night. She crosses her limestone floor quietly, akin to a ghost as if to tell her visitor no one is present before stopping just shy of the door. Mentally, Tavi remembers what her mother has said about acting regally in the presence of others, how to stand tall and like a future queen, and physically rolls that onto her stance.

With a deep breath, she opens the door.

And here is another response show casing what RPs tend to look like down the line WITHOUT me RPING multiple characters:

Tavi’s eyebrows shoot up In surprise as the listens to Arya’s words. “That is troubling,” she murmurs more to herself than anyone else as she once again brushes back some of her hair.

Her mind wanders, wondering what the right course of action would be. Of course, they would be moving during the earlier morning before the sun would come up, but with the flowers on the line… “perhaps we should leave earlier,” she hums.

But then that would require waking up the rest of the party—and they needed their rest. “We can discuss this inside, please,” Tavi moves aside in the doorway, gesturing for Arya to enter. “I would despise seeing your work go to waste because of the heat and the sun,” she says, already moving to her table to give Arya a cup of water.

[Howdy, here’s the phrase. “An ocean without unnamed monsters would be like sleep without dreams.” ]

And here is a response showcasing me RPING multiple characters:

Abasi mentally rolled his golden eyes at Arya’s childish gesture as he led Tavi through the halls. He enjoyed the feeling of the princess’s hands on his forearm—she felt delicate beneath his touch, and it made his heart beat just a little bit faster.

The area they had stepped into was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous in every which way. The air was sweet and warm, like a mother’s caress.

“Great mother Hathor,” Tavi murmured, her head bowing in reverence to the goddess. “What a beauty and blessing you are,” she murmured to herself, slowly letting go of Abasi’s forearm.

“Princess!” A priest’s voice cut through. “What a pleasure to see you here,” he said warmly. “I presume you’ve come to make an offering?”

Tavi smiled and nodded, gently telling Abasi that his guard could lower. “I have. What a magnificent job you and the priests and priestesses have done.”

The priest beamed and quickly nodded for one of the lower ranking priestesses to fetch a bowl full of offerings they’d prepared for the princess. “It means the world t hear it from you,” he said. “We’ve gone all out this time for her festival.”

“It shows,” Tavi hummed, silently thanking the lower ranking priestess who handed her a bowl full of spices, jewelry, flowers and sweet smelling oils. Gently, Tavi came to the edge of the pool, kneeling down and offering silent prayers to Hathor, a blessed mother, before placing the bowl gingerly on the water.

It rippled as it flowed on the surface, almost resting perfectly in the middle amongst the sparse lily pads and lotus flowers.

On her way back up, Abasi offered the princess his hand, and she took it.

The priest once again beamed. “The goddess is most pleased with your presence,” he noted, barely able to contain his joy. “Would your companions like to make offerings as well?”

WRITING A RULE PAGE

“why should i write a rules page?”

to set down boundaries. to let people know your dos and don’ts, to know your limits and help avoid stepping on eachother’s toes! so, what do we write in there?

an introduction: this doesn’t mean that we want to know your legal name, gender, age, address etc. a nickname, knowing if you’re a minor or not and your pronouns will be enough.

• “why should i tell people if i’m a minor or not?’’ a lot of adults aren’t comfortable with playing with minors, and in the same way a lot of minors aren’t comfortable writing with 30-years-olds. this is also to make sure nobody plays smut with a minor

your selectivity: are you semi-selective? mutuals only? 18+ only? are you willing to play with doubles?

• “should i write a list of people i don’t want to roleplay with?’’ avoid doing it if possible

stuff you need tagged: you don’t have to explain if something is a trigger or just grosses you out. this helps your mutuals know your boundaries, or not interact if they’re involved in a RPC you’d rather avoid people can’t read your mind, so please let others know what upsets you to avoid unnecessary drama

• “someone didn’t tag something i have in my rules, what should i do?” try to contact them and ask them politely to tag it! it might be a moment of distraction, or simply enough they forgot about it

your stance on shipping and smut: are you open to ships? do you single-ship, or are you open for multishipping? what about one-sided relationships, or ships with doubles? are you open for NSFW threads, or you’d rather avoid them?

• “i’m a minor or i have a minor character, can i say i’m open to smut?’’ no. stop that.

EXTRA RULES THAT COULD COME HANDY:

the general DNI rules, to make sure people know you don’t want to deal with godmodding or vagueposting, or much worse people like racists, terfs, pedos and whatnot

a list of ships you don’t play, especially if they’re the most “popular” ones

your stance on reblog karma, or reblogging prompts, musings and promo from you

if you play with personal blogs or with anons!

if you’re using a secondary blog to roleplay, consider leaving a link to your HUB/primary blog in the rules!

a password people are meant to send to you do make sure they read the rules

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY...

anything you think might help making both your and your partern’s experience as good as possible. rule pages are usually very informal and might come up as condescending or rude, but it’s much better to be direct and explain things as well as you can.

Is the Hellboy fandom alive??? I wanna do some damn Hellboy 1x1 rp. Like the Del Toro versions of the characters.

Canon x Canon only, please. I can play almost anyone!

~✩~ Preferred writing style: I am always looking for my partners to be literate - novella. As for pairings I write all gender pairings however I do lean a bit towards (nb)/m but I never turn down a good plot just cause of a gender pairing. When it comes to NSFW I play both subs and doms. I have a slight preference to play subs but again I dont mind much either way.

~✩~ Preferred genres: As for genres I like historical, supernatural, fantasy, ERP / Smut, horror, thriller. The list is long but those are the mains.

~✩~ About your characters: I have such diverse characters theres not just one type I have. As ive said before I prefer playing nonbinary characters however I have so many different gendered characters for many different genres.

Blog and Roleplay Rules

Hello! We're working on getting everything set up here, and wanted to come on and set some more ground rules for interactions and such. The rules we're setting are as follows:

If you want to 'add' an OC or Canon character to our AU, you must get permission from the muns before claiming affiliation

As such, do not claim affiliation with our group without direct permission from the muns

We are open to interacting with OCs but that does not mean they are 'canon' in our AU (see above point)

Do not make posts on your blog (OC or otherwise) insinuating relationships/flirtationships with the characters unless explicitly given permission by the mun for said character. Flirtatious asks are ok, though muns are at their discretion to ignore asks that make them uncomfortable.

We are open to interacting with RP accounts who also interact with other RP groups as long as both groups are fine with it. Again, getting explicit permission from both parties is key. We want to respect the work other RP groups are already doing.

We are not affiliated with any other Bad Batch RP groups. We are our own group, Renegade Force 99. Please respect that we are unaffiliated and do not attempt to force interactions between us and other RP groups (i.e. no tagging us in their posts or vice versa)

We reserve the right to update and add to these rules when necessary.

MINORS & AGELESS BLOGS PLEASE DNI!!

Hi! Welcome to my RP blog! This is just a post for those who are interested in roleplaying with me, and also to get to know me a little bit! I'm just going to go through a few things about me and things I'd like to look for in a roleplay with someone, fandoms I'm familiar with/interact with, characters I play for others, and characters others could play for me. Keep in mind... This is honestly my first time posting about RP on Tumblr, I've usually spent my years on Amino or Discord, I just wanted to try something new here :) Lets hop right in!

🕷️ !rules + info! 🕷️

01) PLEASE! Be respectful of my reply times. Sometime’s I’m available during the day and sometimes I’m not. I may even reply in the middle of the night, (I don’t have the best sleep schedule.) Either way, I get my replies in to you as soon as I can, I’m sure I’ll be able to tell you if I’m busy for the day or night, so please don’t get angry with me if I’m not able to reply to you when you want me to.

02) Absolutely NO Racism, Religion Debates, Political Debates, Homophobia, Transphobia, etc. Anything along these lines is an instant block.

03) I roleplay on either Tumblr or Discord, preferably on Discord but if you’re more comfortable on this app then I don’t mind at all! Just let me know!

04) My discord can be accessed by sending me a DM here on Tumblr.

05) I am very OC friendly! Hence why Double-Up’s are my main go-to, but I’m not opposed to ship RP’s and others! I’ve done a few ccxcc or ocxoc roleplays and I honestly don’t do them enough. I really don’t mind doing any kind of roleplay with people :)

06) Please don’t be afraid to tell me any random facts or headcanons about your OC, or share your thoughts about any CC characters we may be using! I tend to ramble on about my OC’s so I really don’t see a problem with you doing the same, I honestly love to hear the character development :)

07) All I ask is for no weird ships… such as MinorxAdult, TeacherxStudent, and nothing of that sort.

08) My literacy tends to switch a lot, depending on my mood and how much there really is to type… but I usually don’t go anywhere below 2-3 paragraphs. My replies can get very large to some people, and some may view it as perfect. I can give you examples if you’d like in DM’s, but if you request for a lot of writing or not too much, I can stick to it. Whatever is comfortable for you. :)

09) Don’t be afraid to talk to me outside of Roleplaying if you want! I’m a very social person and I don’t mind talking to anybody outside of roleplaying.

10) I am open to NSFW roleplays, I won’t roleplay NSFW with the highschool / teenage characters though. Hope you understand :)

11) I’m open for group roleplays, but please ask permission first before adding me to a discord server or groupchat!

Note: I’m not involved in many fandoms, there are obviously some where I’m more interactive and know more about it, but I’m very easy to picking up character personalities. If you have a request that I haven’t listed, I’m sure I can work something out for you!

Jujutsu Kaisen (Main): Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, Toji Fushiguro, Choso, Maki Zenin, Shoko Ieiri, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuuji Itadori. (I’m WAY TOO GOOD at playing the character Gojo… obviously… look at my page & theme. I’m good at playing as the other listed characters aswell, but Gojo is my main and the main guy everyone asks for…. just know that I’m a great fit for the job lolols.)

Tokyo Revengers: Mikey, Chifuyu, Baji, Smiley, Takemichi, Hanma, Ran. (I need to catch up on Tokyo Revengers. But I’m very well aware of the characters and their personality. My best played character for this anime is prooobably Mikey or Baji.)

My Hero Academia: Shigaraki, Toga, Twice, Aizawa, Kurogiri, Mr. Compress, Todoroki, Kirishima, Bakugou, Shinso. (“SPYRO IS SO GOOD AT RPING AS VILLAINS” says a good friend of mine… and it’s true. Honestly, just name a villain and it’ll be done for you within a snap of a finger.)

Chainsaw Man: Makima, Aki, Denji, Power. (Makima is my main with CSM, but other characters listed I’m still able to play well! Especially Denji…)

Demon Slayer: Tengen is an Ex-Lover of OC, Rengoku is a possible lover in OC’s future. (Complicated OC development… I love roleplaying Demon Slayer with my OC but the storyline can make things difficult.)

Hello! Leo here!

Just to let people know that roleplay, I am available to roleplay with! I just have a few rules ^^ need to set boundaries and such.

Something that should be known- I will only roleplay with people 16-17+. My roleplays are mature based, so I don't want to roleplay with anyone younger. (Also I only do canon x oc for my side but if you wanna do canonxcanon im okay with that for your side!)

We will also make rules and such as time goes on when we roleplay.

Time for rules!

1. Swearing is allowed. I want to make it more mature based and so swearing will happen a lot. No making minors swear though, anyone 16+ can swear but nobody under.

2. Lgbtq+ allowed. I myself am a member, my ocs are apart of it, there is nothing wrong with it. If you do not like it, then dont roleplay.

3. 18+ smut only. I am only allowing adult characters to have smut, no minors under 18 are allowed to and I'm very uncomfortable with roleplaying smut with any ocs or characters under 18. Aging up will be fine but those aged up characters are not going to be doing smut. Smut can either be roleplayed in Private Messages or Discord. If you are under the age of 18, lmk because I don't feel comfortable roleplaying smut with minors.

4. Description. Okay so I get a lot of people arent really descriptive but PLEASE for the love of god, dont give me one liners and dont just have a short response. If you cant help it, make it interesting at least. I cannot promise a response if you dont have at least some sentences. No Script role playing. I NEED DESCRIPTION!! I GET BORED EASILY.

You can have a poly relationship. I am willing to do two crushes as LONG AS MY OCS CRUSHES ARE STILL IN PLAY!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR OC AN ADULT AND CRUSHING ON A MINOR. DO NOT HAVE YOUR OC A MINOR CRUSHING ON AN ADULT. I WILL NOT ROLEPLAY ADULT X MINOR OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

You MAY have it as a teenager crushing on adults BUT THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE TOGETHER, FLIRTING OR SMUT!

6. Reminders. I have a job; therefore, I have a life. I won't be on a lot but even if I am, I probably just am reading. So, if I haven't responded in a day, you can @ me and remind me. Unless we talk on a daily basis, do not remind me 24/7.

7. Triggers. I do not have any triggers, so please tell me if you have any so I know what to avoid because I like to roleplay angst and very fucked up shit. I do not do yandere stuff.

Cursing is allowed. Insulting a character is also allowed but don't exaggerate!

Do not kill my characters. If you really want let's discuss it first, and no death must be permanent. Also do not push my characters into an irreversible state (for example don't turn them into amalgamates or into omnipresent beings).

Arabella’s Rule Book

Hello! Welcome to my little rule book. I’m going to try to keep this as short and sweet as possible.

1.No One Liners

Please write 6+ grammatically correct lines! This makes it much more interesting, as well as easier to respond.

2. Do Not Control My Character!

Please do not control my OC! It really gets on my nerves, and just takes away my interest in the role-play.

Examples;

Correct: (Your Character) took (My Character) by the hand, hoping that they would drop the argument and leave.

This gives my character a choice on whether they will leave the scene of the argument!

Incorrect: (Your Character) grabbed (My Character)’s hand, pulling them away from the scene.

This does not give my character a choice on whether they will leave the scene or not!

3. Tell Me Before You Leave/If you are uninterested

If you must leave the chat/ are uninterested in the Roleplay please tell me first! I don’t particularly care about the reason, I would just like a heads up.

4. Realistic OCs

Please also make sure your OC has a human non-drawn face claim!

5. 3rd person

When role-playing with me, please use “” for character speaking, and use 3rd person to describe character actions!

PLEASE DO NOT USE ** TO DESCRIBE CHARACTER ACTIONS

Examples;

Correct: “Would you please stop that?” Jason groaned, rolling his eyes. “Seriously. It’s extremely annoying.”

Incorrect: *kisses you* tehe! Will you marry me? *purrs*

6. Triggers

I personally do not have any triggers but if you do please please please make it known! I do not want to make anyone uncomfortable so please let it be known before we start the roleplay!

14. There are going to be days and nights when I am just not in the mood to do anything. I have a right to say NO. And when I say NO, I mean it.
