The New Year 2024
Happy New Year to everyone! 2024 is finally here. Whether you look back to the year that passed or look forward in the new year, never let anything nor anyone separate you from the Lord and His Word (the Holy Bible). In my experience, 2023 was a very blessed year. The Lord blessed me when I visited Israel on a pilgrimage tour with my local church New Life Alabang. Together, we visited several…

Approachable And Loving
“One sitting on the throne… He who was sitting was like a jasper stone… a sardius in appearance… there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones… upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting… Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder… there were seven lamps of fire burning… the seven Spirits of God… before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal… in the center and around the throne.” Revelation 4:2-6NASB
In case you’ve not figured it out yet, God sits resplendent, impressive in heaven. Francis Chan asked everyone in his book, ‘Crazy Love,’ to ponder just how all-important God is— Almighty God— absolute Ruler and Creator of everything everywhere. Our Creator spoke, “…Let there be light…” Genesis 1:3. Scientists are still discovering new galaxies. Were these galaxies truly newly discovered, or are God’s words actively creating new galaxies now?
Imagine with me, we’ve just entered the throne room of Almighty God. What are the first words we’d say? Since Chan posed this question, I’ve considered it with a lot of thought.
Growing up in the holiness religion, Yahweh was this huge formidable being for whom we had to walk perfectly before in order to be loved. Mess things up, sin big-time and always look over the shoulder wondering when He was going to zap you with sickness and harm. That God was frightening and unapproachable. My puny mind had difficulty absorbing the sights of heaven or imagining what I’d do faced with such awesomeness should I actually get there..
In the book made movie, ‘Heaven Is For Real,’ Todd Burpo’s father deals with the reality of heaven. He’s heard about this God of love all his life. The subtler teaching of approaching a God of judgment had him with that same awaiting of being zapped, that I experienced. Faced with explaining the unexplainable God, Burpo was bereft of words. Sense, logic, nor previously known experiences didn’t fit into any of the unexplainable events. Eventually Burpo settled on the fact: God can do things however He pleases for He is THE Almighty.
My thoughts have come through many difficult places in life. Although I revere God in His awesomeness, I’ve needed an approachable and loving God, which I’ve discovered through reading and studying His Bible. Paul taught God will be what I need, although not always financially. Philippians 4:19KJV “…my God will supply all your needs…. in Christ Jesus.”
In prayer I’ve come to the knowledge He’s our Almighty knowing everything God. Prayer isn’t presenting a honey-do list to God; nor is it pulling the handle of a heavenly vending machine. Worship, praise, surrender, admitting how much we need Him while seeking the Source of all wisdom and answers are all parts of prayer. I’ve learned while surrendering everything to Almighty, I must allow Him to become God over those needs. Taking those needs back isn’t trusting Him to be all His Word says He is.
David understood my feelings: “Since I am afflicted and needy, Let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my Help and my Deliverer…” Psalm. 40:17NASB. As I face the largest, most difficult place in my life, I’ve had to pray— ‘God You are my “Help and my Deliverer.” This mountain is more than I can endure.’
How would your prayers change, if you stood in the astounding throne room of Almighty God, as you prayed? What would you say or think? Would your knee willingly bow admitting your need? One day it will. “…That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance,” Isaiah 45:23KJV. Now or later? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Father thank You for being approachable, even as You are the Most High God. Teach us to admit our need for You as we revere You, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

*God Still Cares*
🪴📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈🌴
Perhaps you're at a place in your walk with God where you feel He doesn't care anymore.
Perhaps you feel that things are not working out and God is distant.
However, I have news for you this morning.
God still cares.
He has never stopped caring.
God still loves you.
Regardless of what has happened with you, God thinks about you.
_"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!_
_If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: When I awake, I am still with thee" (Psalm 139:17-18)._
And His thoughts are good towards you.
If you are keeping your distance from God because He longer cares, it's time to get back with Him.
I'll leave you with a verse:
_"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7)._
Further studies: Psalm 37:5; 55:22; 62:8; Matthew 6:25-26; Philippians 4:6;

Daily Devotionals for March 7, 2024
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 10:31-32(KJV): 31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. 32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. Proverbs 10:31-32(Amplified): 31 The mouth of the righteous (those harmonious with God) brings forth skillful and godly Wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut down (as a barren and rotten tree). 32 The lips of the (uncompromisingly) righteous know (and therefore utter) what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked knows (and therefore speaks only) what is obstinately willful and contrary.
Thought for the Day
Verses 31-32 - When I was young, children would often quote the saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." After studying the Bible, I realize that this OLD AGE adage is not true. Derogatory names and harsh words are harmful, both to the person addressed and the speaker. Words are powerful. Lawyers use powerful words to build cases. Our nation's laws consist of volumes of words. National treaties are formed by words. Words announce the daily news and enable us to communicate with each other. God used words to create the universe, speaking everything into existence (Genesis 1). The Bible is the Word of God. Jesus Himself is referred to as the living Word (John 1:1). Words are powerful!
God's Word has much to say about how we should speak. Biblically, praying for God's blessing or speaking good and uplifting words to someone is referred to as blessing. Speaking evil against someone or wishing ill toward them is referred to as cursing. "Curse words" or "cussing" originated from speaking evil words. Profanity is using God's Name in vain or speaking irreverently of Him. It ranges from mild expletives to horrible blasphemies. Society accepts foul language as normal. Popular films and television programs depict it as a way to vent anger or verbally assault others. Such use demonstrates that cursing is wrong because it demeans others. Jesus said that cursing points to evil in the heart. It is common today for both men and women to curse and never consider it as an indication of evil in their hearts. They view it as inconsequential, as something everyone does. Scripture teaches that this "little" matter of cursing and using God's Name in vain defiles the whole person.
Have you ever wondered why people do not use the names of gods of other religions when they curse? The names that the devil hates are "God," "Christ," "Jesus Christ," and "Jesus." Terms about hell and heaven are also used in derogatory ways. The very misuse of these words proves the existence of God and the reality of a heaven and hell. Neither adults nor children should use bad language, if we are to be like our Lord. We do not have to use curse words to emphasize our intentions (Colossians 3:8; Matthew 5:37).
Proverbs states that God accepts the words of the righteous, but the words of the wicked will one day be cut off, along with those who speak them. "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer" (Psalm 19:14).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear Father, thank you for all that You have done for me. Lord, I ask You to forgive me for failing You. Lord, I want my words to be like Your Words. Lord, You never speak any unkind thing. You are gentle and loving. Your Words are always the truth. We can depend on You and trust that what You said is the truth. You never lie. Lord, may I be good for my word? Help me not to give it lightly, and when I do tell someone, I will do something, remind me if I fail to keep my word so I can make it right. In our society, it seems that so many, especially in the business world, are very careless about their words. Help me to be a witness for You as one that keeps their word even as You do. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Walk It Out: The Life of a Believer
The word of God brings us to salvation and shows us how we should live our new life in Jesus Christ. What I love so much about God is that He gives us choices. He presents us with “good and perfect” gifts but still gives us space to choose. Choosing to follow Christ and live His way is not always easy. Following the word of God is in direct contrast of how the world says we should be living. This places extra importance on the study and knowledge of the scriptures.
Walking out our lives in Christ is a daily constant series of making decisions. These decisions almost always bring up another question in the mind of a believer and it’s usually something like “what does God say I should do?” As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, certain things get harder to make decisions on. This happens because our flesh is fighting to stay alive. The Apostle Paul constantly refers to this fight throughout his writings in the New Testament (1 Cor. 15, Romans 8), saying that he dies daily to his flesh. Jesus even commands us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him (Luke 9).
If we are going to follow Jesus, we have to get out of the way. We have to give up our desires and submit to the will of God. I’ve learned that submission is not always fun or even what I want to do. It is a consistent acknowledgment that His ways are better than my ways and his thoughts are higher than my thoughts. True submission comes down to faith and trust.
James gives us some straight to the point instructions on how we as believers should live out our faith and trust in Jesus. Read the book of James and what it says about walking in faith. It’s not for the faint of heart. James Chapter 1 verses 19-26 really spoke to me. In Verse 19 & 20, it says that we should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger. The world tells us to curse out the person that cut us off on the freeway. Anger in partnership with humanity doesn’t produce the righteousness that God asks us to walk in.
Verse 21, tells us to “get rid of all moral filth and evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planed in you, which can save you.” When I read this I instantly thought, “can you be more specific?” My flesh saw the attack coming. My mind then went to Paul’s writings in Romans 7, when he talks about wanting to do good and recognizing the sin that is in him making decisions. It’s like those candy commercials where something bad happens to character and then something good happens. OK, James, I got it, get rid of evil and moral filth…then he says humbly accept the word planted in you. This comforted me in knowing that study and knowledge of God’s word is so important to walking out our life as a believer.
Verse 22-25 commands us to not only listen to the word of God but also do what it says. In verse 22, he slides in the phrase “and so deceive yourselves.” He adds this because by only listening to the word we can convince ourselves that we have faith, that we are following God. God even responds in action to our faith. Look no further than the miracles Jesus was able to perform because people had faith. Remember that situation you asked God to move in and He made a way. Deceiving ourselves sometimes causes us to think that by just showing up at church for a couple of hours every week “it’s all good.” Whatever you put into your heart is going to come out. This is why David in Psalms 119 says “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Following God requires action. Living by the word of God offers freedom and with doing what the word says also comes blessings.
In verse 26, he’s basically saying “Watch your mouth.” James didn’t live in 2024 where people feel like they have license to say whatever they want to you and call it “living their truth” or “that’s just who I am.” The blessing for us is that God didn’t call us believers to just be who we are, He’s called us to be what He wants us to be.
Today’s challenge is to recognize the areas in our lives where our flesh is fighting our faith. Ask God, for his grace and mercy to fight and overcome those battles. Using our battle plan, the word of God, we will win! Walking out our life as believers is going to come with it’s daily challenges but we have access to the one who has already given us the victory, his name is Jesus Christ. I pray that we all become closer to Him today and our lives bring Him the glory He is due!
Be Blessed!

ST. EPHRAIM THE LESSER, THE PHILOSPHER
Tumblr media
Today little is known about the life of venerable Ephraim the Lesser, the great 11th-century writer, translator, philosopher, and defender of the Georgian Church. His work Reminiscences and other sources, however, provide us with the means to speculate about the major periods of his life and labors.       In 1027, when King Bagrat IV (1027–1072) ascended the Georgian throne, many noblemen of the Tao region in southern Georgia relocated to Greece. Among them was the honorable Vache, son of Karichi, whom scholars believe was Ephraim’s father.       After receiving a Greek education in Constantinople, Ephraim settled in the Black Mountains near Antioch and began his labors there. His achievements in Georgian theological and philosophical writing are immeasurable. The number of his works is almost one hundred, and the subjects cover nearly every branch of theological inquiry. Ephraim even developed his own theory of translation, which later formed the foundation for written composition in the Georgian language. His theory consists of three essential points:       1. A composition must be translated from the original, that is, from the language in which it was first written.       2. The translation must carry the same literal meaning as the original, but accuracy in this regard must not violate the nature of the language into which the text is being translated.       3. A section of commentary that examines all relevant historical, grammatical, and literary issues should be included with the translated text.
Ephraim translated five of the works of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, The Ascetic Rules of St. Basil the Great, the writings of St. Ephraim the Syrian, commentaries on the Epistles and Psalms, and many other important patristic writings.       Among Ephraim the Lesser’s original works, his most significant is An Explanation of the Reasons for the Conversion of Georgia, a compilation of existing essays and his own commentaries on the nation’s conversion.       In the second half of the 11th century, the monks of Antioch and the Black Mountains began to deny the independence of the Georgian Church. Among other claims, they argued that none of the Apostles had preached the Christian Faith in Georgia. It became necessary to prove that the Georgian Church was indeed autocephalous, and members of the nation’s elite accordingly called upon Ephraim to settle this issue. Ephraim studied many patristic writings in the original Greek, gathered the ancient sources, and succeeded in fully securing the independent existence of the Georgian Church.       St. Ephraim wrote the following about the Apostles’ preaching: “Know that from the time the Apostles were preaching, according to the Prophet David: Their voice was heard through all the earth, and their words resounded in every village (c.f. Ps. 18:4). In Georgia, Andrew the First-called preached the Gospel in Avazgia (now Abkhazeti), and from there he journeyed to Ossetia (now Shida Kartli). Bartholomew also preached in Georgia, in the Kartli region.”       St. Ephraim never left the Black Mountains. In 1091 he was enthroned as the abbot of Kastana Monastery (The precise location of Kastana is unknown, but according to modern archaeologists, it was probably in the Black Mountains. For a full discussion of the subject see: Wachtang Z. Djobadze, Materials for the study of Georgian monasteries in the Western environs of Antioch on the Orontes (Louvain: Corpus Scriptorum Christianorum Orientalium, 1976), pp. 101–3)       Our holy father Ephraim reposed in the Lord around the year 1101. He is included in a list of the departed compiled by the Council of Ruisi-Urbnisi in 1103, and the year of his death has been approximated from the information given in this source.       Ephraim was canonized by the Orthodox Church of Georgia because of his God-pleasing life and the many commendable works he performed on behalf of the Church and his nation.

ST LEOBARDUS THE RECLUSE OF MARMOUTIER (Gaul_6th.c.)
Tumblr media
Grottos of St. Leobard ( Marmoutier)
St Leobardus the Recluse of Marmoutier, who struggled in Gaul in the 6th century. Born in Auvergne, the parents of the venerable one sent him to school and, against his wishes, forced him to become betrothed. They soon passed away, however, and St Leobardus said to himself, ‘Vain is this world, vain are its lusts, vain is the glory of the earth, and all that is in it is only vanity. It would be better to abandon it and follow the Lord than to give any approval to worldly deeds’ (St Gregory of Tours, Vita Patrum: The Life of the Fathers, trans. Hieromonk Seraphim [Rose] [Platina, CA: St Herman of Alaska Brotherhood, 1988], p. 288). After a pilgrimage to the Basilica of St Martin, he withdrew to a cell near Marmoutier. There, he started making and preparing parchment and digging stone to enlarge the hermitage. According to St Gregory, ‘In all this he gave himself over with delight to fasting, prayer, psalmody, and reading, and never ceased to celebrate the Divine worship and prayer; from time to time he would write in order to divert himself from bad thoughts’ (p. 289). Chief among the latter, it seems, was a temptation to leave his cell and find another one, but it was important that he conquer this. As we have seen:
Christianity in practice, and monasticism above all, is a matter of staying in one place and struggling with all one’s heart for the Kingdom of Heaven. One may be called to do the work of God elsewhere, or may be moved about by unavoidable circumstances; but without the basic and profound desire to endure everything for God in one place without running away, one will scarcely be able to put down the roots required to bring forth spiritual fruits. (Fr Seraphim, ‘Introduction to Orthodox Gaul’, St Gregory, p. 123-4)
Tumblr media
Thanks be to God, however, St Gregory himself was able through his exhortations to help St Leobardus conquer this temptation...continue reading

JAMES 1:1-18
1 James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. 9 Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. 11 For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits. 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
MATTHEW 5:14-19
14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. 17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Introducing The Wissmanns!
Sorry It Took So Long.  Part 1 of 2.
Tumblr media
Duggar Data has been tracking the Wissmanns’ Data for quite awhile, and they have officially been a Predictor Family since October 2021.  Despite this, I have failed to do a proper Introductory Post...  Until now!
Just ahead in Part 1...
Who are the Wissmanns?  Where are they from?  How many children do they have?  How many of their children are married or in relationships?  What can you tell me about their specific beliefs or quirks?
Tell Me About Mr. + Mrs. Wissmann.
Headed by Loren Albert + Gloria Ann (Hager) Wissmann, the Wissmann Family hails from Milford, Seward County, NE.  Loren owns Wissmann Enterprises—a contracting and roofing company, specializing in “roof coatings,” sandblasting and painting, and excavation at industrial sites and farms.  As of 2022, several of the Wissmann Sons—namely Matthias, Stephen, and Nathanael—work with Loren in the family business.
Loren + Gloria married on August 16, 1980, when he was 23, and she was 21.  (His DOB is May 15, 1957.  Hers is June 6, 1958.)  They went on to have a big family—13 Children (8 Daughters, 5 Sons), with no multiple births.
What Are Their Children’s Names / DOBs?
Here’s the full list of names and DOBs, all verified via voter rolls and Nebraska Birth Records—
Rachel Ann (Wissmann) Busenitz   January 31, 1982
Ruth Elissa (Wissmann) Bourlier   August 16, 1983
Josiah David Wissmann   February 23, 1985
Bethany Lynne (Wissmann) Beasley   July 10, 1986
Andrew Michael Wissmann   February 29, 1988  (Leap Day)
Elizabeth Joy Wissmann   September 21, 1989
Matthias Meinert Wissmann   June 18, 1991
Stephen Gerald Wissmann   July 15, 1993
Hannah Marlys (Wissmann) Duggar   June 23, 1995
Susanna Evelyn Wissmann   March 7, 1997
Alaythia Gloria Wissmann   October 22, 1999
Nathanael Loren Wissmann   October 28, 2001
Charissa Marie Wissmann   September 25, 2006
Gloria had her Final Child, Charissa, at Age 48.30, giving her 8 Daughters the Latest Fertility Cut–Off of any Predictor Family.
All of the 2nd Generation Wissmanns, except Charissa (#13), are adults.  (Her 18th Birthday isn’t until September 25, 2024.)  So far, 7 of 13 are married, and an 8th (Nathanael, #12) is in a relationship.  All of the married couples—except the newlyweds, Hannah (#9) + Jeremiah—are also parents.
What Church Do The Wissmanns Attend?
According to Free Jinger, the Wissmann Family was once affiliated with Millard Alliance Church (MAC) in Omaha, Nebraska.  The Wissmann Family Statement of Faith, posted on their website, strongly substantiates this; it’s identical to the MAC Statement of Faith.  Duggar Data also dug up this really old newsletter, in which Andrew Wissmann, then unmarried, is listed as a member of MAC.
However, it appears that the Wissmanns don’t attend MAC anymore.  (Unclear when they left.)  They are now members of East Fairview Mennonite Church, in Milford, Nebraska.  Loren, Matthias, and Stephen all seem to be pretty high up in the church—leading services and bible studies, etc.  Church bulletins dating back to February 2016 mention various other Wissmanns, as well.
Are The Wissmanns Quiverfull (QF)?
Yes, Loren + Gloria are absolutely quiverfull (QF).  Evidence of this is right on their family website, where Loren + Gloria say—
The Lord used Psalms 127 to open [our] hearts to welcoming children, and Proverbs 22:6 to the awesome responsibility of training the children He would send.
Psalm 127:3–5 is a dog whistle for the QF Movement...  It’s their favorite piece of scripture, and the verse that gives the movement its name.  It reads—
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them....
The Wissmanns also reference Proverbs 22:6, which is another popular Bible verse among the fundamentalist evangelical crowd.  It’s the verse about how parents must “train up” their children.  (“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”)
So, yeah...  Whether they identify as such or not—and, they probably don’t—Loren + Gloria Wissmann embrace the QF Movement’s core tenets.  And, the 2nd Generation Wissmanns aren’t far behind...  Rachel frequently tags her IG Posts w/ “#raisingarrows,” for example, and Bethany has posted some pretty quiverfull–y quotes.  Also, Ruth recently expressed—“Every birth is a miracle.  Every baby a gift.”
Do They Homeschool?  Are They IBLP / ATI?
The Wissmanns claim not to be part of IBLP / ATI—but, they do homeschool.  (See Also.)  (Unclear what curriculum they used.)  The 2nd Generation is also homeschooling; Rachel + Alan, Josiah + Abi, and Bethany + Dan are the only ones w/ school age aged children, and they all teach their children at home.
Tell Me A Little More About Their Beliefs.
Modesty.  Clearly, it’s important to them, and they prefer that women to wear skirts.  They’re not strictly “skirts only,” though.  (Gloria doesn’t seem to wear pants, but all of her daughters—including those still living at home—do.)  One of the Wissmann In–Laws (Kori) wore a sleeveless wedding dress...  Gasp!
Gender Roles.  Unfortunately, they’re pretty heavy into gender essentialism...  Ruth promotes “healthy femininity” via IG, for example, and posts all sorts of ‘gender matters’ nonsense.  (See Also.)  Also, Bethany vowed in her wedding vows to “submit to” her husband.  There are some glimmers of hope, though—e.g., Susanna Wissmann was allowed to become a pilot.
Courtship.  As for relationships, the Wissmanns practice “courtship,” more or less, but don’t seem to call it that.  (Ruth referred to “dating” her husband, at one point.)  Some of the things they do are a bit courtship–y, though.  Rachel and Ruth got engaged within weeks of meeting their husbands, for example, and Rachel waited until engagement to say “I love you.”  They don’t seem to kiss until the altar, either.
Are They Friendly w/ Other Predictor Families?
Yes!  The Wissmanns are old friends of the Duggars, and are also friendly with fellow Midwestern fundies, the Bontragers (and Bowerses).
Next Up...  Part 2 will focus on the 2nd Generation Wissmann Couples.

Scripture of the Day - April 25, 2024 Did Jesus Christ the Messiah make promises to real people, 2,000 years ago? From the Bible’s King James Version
DID CHRIST COME AND PUNISH JERUSALEM AND THE REST OF THE WORLD FOR WICKEDNESS—WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD ? Revelation 2:1-3:22 - Read the Letters to the Seven churches of Asia, from Christ, written by John just before the 70 AD siege of Jerusalem.
DID HE ACCOMPLISH HIS STRANGE WORK OF CLEANSING MEN’S HEARTS—by the STRANGE ACT of shaking the world, turning it upside down; having it fall from its original place in the heavens and burning off the surface while men hid in underground cave cities?
Isaiah 28:21-22 - For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
Jeremiah 31:31-33 - Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers… But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days (days of refining in the oven of affliction), saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Isaiah chapters 13, 24, 29 - By Earth’s geological formations and relics being uncovered by archaeologists we can plainly see the fact that the prophecies of these chapters have already been fulfilled.
Isaiah 26:20-21- Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall NO MORE COVER HER SLAIN. Compare the “Wars of the Jews” Book 4, chapter 5, section 3.
Jeremiah 25:29-33 - “For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name (70 AD siege of Jerusalem), and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth… The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout against all the inhabitants of the earth… He will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD… And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, NEITHER GATHERED NOR BURIED; they shall be dung upon the ground.
AND DID HE MAKE OF THEIR REMNANT—A GREAT NATION which was one among three main nations existing until Satan was released for the purpose of folding up Christ's First Messianic Kingdom so that He may change it to an unseen realm in which it may go on forever without the presence of sin? Study: Micah 4:7 Isaiah19:16-25, Revelation 20:7-10, Hebrews 1:10-12, and Psalm 102:25-27.
If you will study the scriptures I so lovingly offer at Christ's direction - with knowledge that the First Dominion of Messiah existed literally on earth during the first millennium A.D. - your heart will be SET ON FIRE as you see all prophecy lining up according to Ends of Earth's Ages. AlleluJAH!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
📅 SUN. 21ST APRIL 2024
    THE LIFTING OF OUR HANDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice (Psalm 141:2).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
In the Scriptures, there're copious references to the import and blessings of the lifting of our hands. Psalm 134:1-2 says, "Behold, bless ye the LORD... Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD." When we lift our hands, blessings are released; divine power flows through our hands.
Once, I was in a meeting where there were many people with arthritis, and a lot of them couldn't lift their hands. I asked the Lord, "Why do we have so many people in that place with arthritis?"
The Lord's response to me was very interesting. He said, "I said in my Word to lift your hands and worship me; lifting your hands in worship will keep you away from such ailments as arthritis. Sadly, many don't know this.
Then He said, "If those people had been praying, worshipping, praising with their hands lifted, as the Scripture says, they would have never suffered arthritis." The things that God tells us to do are for our sake, for our blessing, such as the lifting of our hands. Every so often, in times of prayer and worship, let your hands go up.
Lifting your hands to the Lord is a sign of your recognition of His grace and glory in your life. Remember, the symbolism of the evening sacrifice offered on the brazen altar is reflected in the lifting up of our hands. Therefore, when you lift your hands in worship, it pleases God more than all the bulls and goats sacrificed on that brazen altar in the Old Testament.
David was well acquainted with the priesthood ministry in the old tabernacle. Also, he was a prophet of God, and by the Spirit, he had a revelation of the New Testament and saw that the lifting of our hands today had taken the place of the burnt offering in the Old Testament.
In 1 Timothy 2:8, the Bible says, "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or doubting." The Apostle Paul here was referring to spiritual worship and offering of praise to the Father from a joyful heart, full of love and thanksgiving.
Even now, lift your hands and worship the Lord for His love, mercy and kindness; tell Him how much you love Him.
         🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Holy Father, I lift up my hands in worship to you, in praise of your majesty, for you alone are God, worthy of all adoration. There's none like you; you're great and mighty. Throughout all generations, you're the same: faithful, just, righteous, holy, pure and true. I love you, Lord!
        📖 FURTHER STUDY:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1 Kings 8:22-23;  But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.
[23] These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.
Lamentations 3:41;  Let us lift up our heart with our hands Unto God in the heavens.
Psalm 63:4 ESV;  So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.
Luke 24:50;  And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

Today was a nice day, I especially loved this evening since it is observation week at ballet. My mom stayed to watch class, and I was very happy that she did. Normally she spends time with H's mom while we're in class, since H and I are in the same vocational grade, but they both stayed since they were allowed. Normally parents aren't allowed to observe class since it can be distracting. They have observation twice a year.
I am also going to post my mood tracker on here for the next 14 days. I think it will be nice to have a record of it, and if I enjoy it, I have an original copy to copy more pages as needed. Although, it might be better, after the 14 days if I find it helpful, to download an app to my phone so I don't waste paper. If anyone has any good mood tracking apps they would recommend, let me know in the comments or in an ask.

Today's Daily Encounter Friday, March 15, 2024
Know. Understand. Do.
"This is what the Lord says: 'Don't let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!'"1
There's a story I read that apparently originated in Psychology Today. As the story goes, several years ago the prince of Grenada, an heir to the Spanish crown, was sentenced to life in solitary confinement in Madrid's ancient prison. The dreadful, dirty, and dreary nature of the place earned it the name, "The Place of the Skull." Everyone knew that once you were in, you would never come out alive. The prince was given one book to read the entire time… the Bible. With only one book to read, he read it repeatedly. Hundreds of times he read it through. Until finally, after 33 years of imprisonment, he died. When they came to remove his body and clean out the cell, they discovered notes that he had written on the soft stone walls using nails. They were notes like:
Psalm 118:8 is the middle verse of the Bible
Ezra 7:21 contains all the letters of the alphabet except the letter J
The ninth verse of the eighth chapter of Esther is the longest verse in the Bible
No word or name of more than six syllables can be found in the Bible He had spent 33 years studying the greatest book of all time, but from what we know, there's no indication that he ever made any religious or spiritual commitment to Christ. He just learned a lot of trivia.2
I often engage in conversations with people who know a lot about the Bible. Some of them share personal stories of how they have experienced God's Word in action in their own lives, and it is evident they understand it based on how they demonstrate what they've learned towards others. However, not all of whom I speak with truly understand the Bible or who God is. They know a lot but, based on their lack of love and forgiveness towards others, they have not allowed God's Word to penetrate their hearts. Like the prince in the illustration above, they spend their life memorizing all the trivia in the Bible but fail to accept and surrender to God.
In today's verse we see that God is action. We read, "I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things." God doesn't just know all the things; He DOES all the things. He wants people to learn about him through experiencing Him. We can know a lot, but true joy and blessings come in understanding and imitating Jesus' example.
Suggested prayer: Dear God, thank you for being a God of relationships. As I read your Word, please help me understand and apply it to my life. That others would know you, not by me boasting about all I know, but by the love I demonstrate towards them. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus' name, amen.1. The Greatest Prophecy
🍽️📖📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈🛐🙏
Has someone ever told you details about yourself that they wouldn't know except by a revelation from God?
Have you ever had events that confirmed what God was saying to you?
Prophecy is real.
God still speaks.
God still reveals.
But here's what you need to know about prophecy. The best prophecy is the word of God.
Before you start looking out for the latest prophet in town, go to the word of God.
Read the Scriptures. You'll be amazed that they talk about you and describe your future.
_"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts" (2 Peter 1:19)._
Do you want to hear from God?
Read the Bible.
Meditate on it.
You'll hear God through the Word.
Any prophecy from someone that doesn't align with the word of God should be thrown away.
God's word is the greatest prophecy.
What prophecy from God are you conscious of?
Further Studies: Psalms 18:28; 19:7-9; 119:105; 2 Corinthians 4:4-6; Ephesians 5:13; John 8:12.

"New Song, Strange Land, God's Timing" Psalm 137:4-6, Mark 1:9-15 Timing February 18, 2024 from St Andrew UMC - Florissant, MO on Vimeo.
In studying the Bible, you discover that God had set a standard of conduct for the Israelite people. He said here’s the law, and you need to abide by it. He gave them the 10 commandments, and other rules concerning their daily life. And God vowed that if they would obey, he would bless them, watch over them, provide for them, and put a hedge of protection around them. Mark is direct: Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized. As Jesus is “coming up out of the water,” there’s a huge disruption in the sky, like a curtain is torn open through which the “Spirit” descends — like a dove — on him. Perhaps as this is happening, a voice comes from the sky, saying, “You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.” This event fulfills the prophecy of one greater to come after John the baptizer.
