"Making something less scary + intimidating, and more approachable"

Hey femme,
I have harsh face features that makes me so unapproachable. Do you have any advice for me. I’m 22 never been in a relationship before, no one is even interested in me. Help me.
Hi love! While I understand your longing to be desired by your preferred sex, evaluating your worth or desirability in general on romantic/sexual attention is a fruitless pursuit. You can try to wear makeup/hairstyles that help soften your features.
Makeup: glowy highlighter, rosy blush on your cheeks, soft nude/glossy lip shades, softly-arched brows, mascara with soft/satin-textured eyeshadow & inner corner highlight
Hair: Longer hairstyles with soft waves or curls, layers/curtain bangs, side parts, half-up/half-down updos or braids
Otherwise, try not to clench your jaw or have your eyes appear hypervigilant when conversing with others.
Smile & laugh when you're enjoying yourself/the company around you. Otherwise, warding off creeps is truly a blessing in disguise. Being unapproachable as a woman is not as bad of a thing as we are often told in our patriarchal society. Finding a middle ground that gives you the agency to let down your guard as safe and desired should always be the goal.
Hope this helps xx

Approachable And Loving
“One sitting on the throne… He who was sitting was like a jasper stone… a sardius in appearance… there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones… upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting… Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder… there were seven lamps of fire burning… the seven Spirits of God… before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal… in the center and around the throne.” Revelation 4:2-6NASB
In case you’ve not figured it out yet, God sits resplendent, impressive in heaven. Francis Chan asked everyone in his book, ‘Crazy Love,’ to ponder just how all-important God is— Almighty God— absolute Ruler and Creator of everything everywhere. Our Creator spoke, “…Let there be light…” Genesis 1:3. Scientists are still discovering new galaxies. Were these galaxies truly newly discovered, or are God’s words actively creating new galaxies now?
Imagine with me, we’ve just entered the throne room of Almighty God. What are the first words we’d say? Since Chan posed this question, I’ve considered it with a lot of thought.
Growing up in the holiness religion, Yahweh was this huge formidable being for whom we had to walk perfectly before in order to be loved. Mess things up, sin big-time and always look over the shoulder wondering when He was going to zap you with sickness and harm. That God was frightening and unapproachable. My puny mind had difficulty absorbing the sights of heaven or imagining what I’d do faced with such awesomeness should I actually get there..
In the book made movie, ‘Heaven Is For Real,’ Todd Burpo’s father deals with the reality of heaven. He’s heard about this God of love all his life. The subtler teaching of approaching a God of judgment had him with that same awaiting of being zapped, that I experienced. Faced with explaining the unexplainable God, Burpo was bereft of words. Sense, logic, nor previously known experiences didn’t fit into any of the unexplainable events. Eventually Burpo settled on the fact: God can do things however He pleases for He is THE Almighty.
My thoughts have come through many difficult places in life. Although I revere God in His awesomeness, I’ve needed an approachable and loving God, which I’ve discovered through reading and studying His Bible. Paul taught God will be what I need, although not always financially. Philippians 4:19KJV “…my God will supply all your needs…. in Christ Jesus.”
In prayer I’ve come to the knowledge He’s our Almighty knowing everything God. Prayer isn’t presenting a honey-do list to God; nor is it pulling the handle of a heavenly vending machine. Worship, praise, surrender, admitting how much we need Him while seeking the Source of all wisdom and answers are all parts of prayer. I’ve learned while surrendering everything to Almighty, I must allow Him to become God over those needs. Taking those needs back isn’t trusting Him to be all His Word says He is.
David understood my feelings: “Since I am afflicted and needy, Let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my Help and my Deliverer…” Psalm. 40:17NASB. As I face the largest, most difficult place in my life, I’ve had to pray— ‘God You are my “Help and my Deliverer.” This mountain is more than I can endure.’
How would your prayers change, if you stood in the astounding throne room of Almighty God, as you prayed? What would you say or think? Would your knee willingly bow admitting your need? One day it will. “…That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance,” Isaiah 45:23KJV. Now or later? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Father thank You for being approachable, even as You are the Most High God. Teach us to admit our need for You as we revere You, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. And you got the Soviets naming their rocket “fellow traveler.” Like a friend you go on an  adventure with together. This rocket is our little friend lol

trans women are everywhere and are so eager to be seen and heard but only if they feel safe around you. if you hardly ever have trans women interacting with you, especially online, then consider there might be a reason for that and you should address it

Amidst the soft amber glow of city lights and the gentle flurry of winter's first snow, we meet Brooklyn, her cheeks rosy from the crisp air, her eyes alight with the wonder of the bustling metropolis. A playful smile dances on her lips as she wanders through the lively streets adorned with the charm of the season. Brooklyn's chestnut hair spills out from beneath a cozy knitted hat crowned with a playful pompom, a testament to the youthful joy that seems to exude from her very being.
She is wrapped in a navy blue winter coat that shields her from the chilly embrace of the evening, a scarf loosely draped around her neck. The city around her is a symphony of movement, with people wrapped in their own stories passing by and cars whispering along the glistening wet asphalt.
Brooklyn's presence is like a warm beacon in the cool blue twilight. Her eyes hold a depth of story, perhaps a mirthful secret or a cherished memory just recalled. She leans slightly forward, engaging us, the unseen observers, inviting us to share in her unspoken narrative. There is a sense of anticipation in her stance, as if she is on the cusp of a great adventure or an unexpected encounter.
Observations suggest that Brooklyn has a natural ease about her, a comfortable self-assurance that many strive for but few actually possess. Her style is effortlessly chic, yet entirely approachable, the sort of person who seems to make friends with ease and warms the spirits of those she encounters. Brooklyn, a character not unlike a modern-day heroine from a heartwarming novel, brings light to the dusky cityscape.

Remedy For Those Consequences
“I glorified You on earth, having accomplished the work that You gave Me to do.” John 17:4ESV
Jesus didn’t just accidentally come into the world. He was sent into the world by LORD God to accomplish a purpose, making the LORD God known to the people— holy, pure, loving. Oswald Chambers ‘Classic Daily Devotional, November 21, It Is Finished’ “The death of Jesus Christ is the performance in history of the very mind of God. There is no room for looking on Jesus Christ as a martyr; His death was not something that happened to Him which might have been prevented; His death was the very reason why He came.” “Never build your preaching of forgiveness on the fact that God is our Father and He will forgive us because He loves us. It is untrue to Jesus Christ’s revelation of; it makes the Cross unnecessary, and the Redemption ‘much ado about nothing.’ If God does forgive sin, it is because of the Death of Christ. God could forgive men in no other way than by the death of His Son, and Jesus is exalted to be Saviour because of His death. …The greatest note of triumph that ever sounded in the ears of a startled universe was that sounded on the Cross of Christ — ‘IT IS FINISHED!’ That is the last word in the Redemption of man.”
We tend to tell everyone ‘God loves you.’ ‘He sent His Son because of His love.’ True, but not the whole truth. Jesus personified His Father, the approachable version. God’s severity hung His tortured Son on the Cross because of His desire to cover man with purity. Martha Borg from Swaggart Ministries sings a song saying God couldn’t look at us in our sin but called us beautiful as He saw us through the blood of His Son.
Three weeks ago my daughter presented the true gospel per what Chambers and Borg to a senior citizen in hospice care. Truth revealing to him that God could only forgive his multitude of sins because of the blood of Jesus shed to buy his pardon. This frail man asked Jesus to be the Lord of his life. When the elderly man went home with Jesus, he broke generations of a family bloodline who’d never walked with God.
People, including this frail man, won’t buy a namby-pamby seeker friendly gospel. They know there’s a consequence for their very real sins, which prick them with continual guilt. The only remedy for those consequences is the blood of Jesus covering all their sin making them capable of approaching Almighty God.
Living an entire life without God is frightening beyond my imagination. Dying without Yahweh God at the center of death is terrifying. Nothing could be worse than spending eternity— never-ending-time —without love and God.

Jesus showed God as love, joy, laughter, fun, healing, helpfulness, faithfulness, kindness, genuine power, hope, peace, fulfillment, and a road to heaven. Not a road paved with works, but a road paved with love. He fulfilled all the work God gave Him to do by His death on the cross. If you haven’t accepted His salvation plan, asking Him to be your Lord, do so right now. That choice alone will give you everything to be thankful for.— Or not. It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: LORD God thank You for sending Jesus to die in our place. Help those who haven’t accepted You to do so now, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
