I was not sure if this was going to get posted tonight or not. The internet has been acting funny, and I think it's a DNS problem since the speed is nearing 100 Gbps, and it was any website loading that was timing out. I changed the DNS, and that seems to have helped. I wonder what is causing it to act up.
Today was good, long but good. I had trouble sleeping last night. Insomnia periods are not fun, so I hope I am not slipping into one again. Every now and then I will wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to get back to sleep for another hour, which is not good because normally I would get 8.5 hours of sleep without that. With that, that sleep time drops to about 6 hours! That is not healthy!
Saying of such, I am going to get ready for bed now. Pray that I can sleep well!
P.S. If you look at my biology section below, you will see a link to a YT video on the video I had to watch for Bio today. It is informational but quite disturbing at the same time. You have to watch it to the end. If you are looking for something that will make you go "what just happened?", I recommend watching it. If you know anything about that particular organism, you will understand it, but it is still questionable.

Finally, a post completed on time! Thank you to those who checked in on me due to my absence all weekend. You are all so kind! Sometimes I will not post on the weekends due to taking a break from social media. Although Tumblr is the only social media I use, the idea of needing to post every single day can get overwhelming when I already have a lot going on. After all, while I love my mutuals and those who take the time to comment and like my content, this is more for my record keeping, sort of like a diary + study and activity journal rolled into one. 18 more school days! I am so close! The best part of it, my brother comes home that same week! I am going to give him the biggest hug and jump ever! In other words, I am going to jump up and hug him and never let go!

This one was not meant to be posted late, but I had to check on my yeast experiment right before bed, and I like to go to bed at that time, so I did not have time to update my studyblr. I know I am very behind right now with updates and getting to everyone's posts! It is the end of the study year for me, (18 more school days!) so things are getting all convoluted together. Needless to say, I think I am ready to be done. I have enjoyed my first year of high school courses very much, but I am excited to be done and for summer to start. I will still study over the summer, but it will look different due to my summer activities and will be more preparatory for my second year of high school courses.

(posting late) Church was fun today because after a quick prayer and worship session, we got to make lunch boxes for the unhoused in our community that will be given out by our local police department. It technically counts as a volunteer hour since it's considered community service but done with my church family. I like when my church does things like this for the community. It makes me happy.

Reviews have started for Geometry, and I think I will be starting reviews for my other courses soon too. I am glad to be done with my literary analysis. I could have spent some time tomorrow working on it too as it only had to be complete tomorrow and emailed to my mom, but I did not want to deal with it on a Friday, so I finished it today. I might look over it one more time tomorrow with a set of fresh eyes again before sending it to Mom, but I think it turned out okay.
The bad weather we were supposed to get never occurred today, which was nice. I hate when we have to drive in the rain. People do not know how to drive around here when it is storming or the weather is anything but sun.

I was surprised to see someone wanted to see more of my handwriting but delighted too, so feel free to check out that earlier post. It is merely close ups of these notes and some from past but recent notes. It was another long day again, but I was happy to have a review day for geometry. I looked over all the combinatorics and probability stuff again mostly since that seems to be my current struggle. As of tomorrow, I am going into straight cumulative study from what it looks like. To think that I will be finished in just a little over 20 week days is crazy! However, I am also ready for my summer break because I am so excited for my summer trip and camp and the summer variations intensive. There is so much to look forward to!

Hii! Could we please see a close-up of your handwriting? It looks really satisfying.
Have a nice day!
Oh my! Thank you anon! That is so kind of you to say! My handwriting shifts based on how long I have been writing or if I am actually trying to be neat or quickly copying something down, so I'm putting up four recent samples with a range of my writing capabilities at different times. Enjoy looking at my notes and lists of vocabulary. 🥰

I can tell that it is the nearing the end of the study year for me because there is so much work to be done! I nearly feel like I am not going to get to it all, but somehow I manage. I may have to do certain things while on the way or back from dance, and I eat lunch while studying too. No wonder I am so tired of the evening and feel as if I need more breaks than usual. It is partially my own fault as some of these things are supplement, so I have added them on myself, but at the same time, I enjoy doing them, like watching the historical docuseries genre that I have been into for the WWII unit. Tomorrow, I will start one on the Cold War as I will be starting the Cold War unit very soon in World History. I get so much more detail this way, and they are primary sources since there are interviews from veterans and actual footage that was released.
In other news, I don't think I like combinatorics, and I am certain these permutation and combination problems with probability are easy compared to what higher level combinatorics looks like. The formulas are fine as I can calculate them without issue, but figuring out how to take apart the word problem to input it into the formula is where I keep getting discombobulated.
Tasks Completed:
Geometry - Learned about probability with permutations and combinations + practice + honors work
Lit and Comp II - Reviewed Unit 24 vocabulary + read Act 3 Scenes 2-3 of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare + read modern translation of same scenes + wrote a diary entry for one of the characters (I went with one of the Watchmen) + worked on my literary analysis for Emma (due Friday)
Spanish 2 - Reviewed vocabulary + watched lecture video on demonstrative adjectives + practice activity
Bible I - Read 1 Samuel 18-19
World History - Read about the Marshall Plan and MacArthur's Plan for Japan + watched "The United Nations: History and Functions" + answered more WWII review questions
Biology with Lab - Read about vaccine basis + read about how to make different types of vaccines with examples
Foundations - Read more on thriftiness + completed next quiz on Read Theory + watched video on writing introductions for a speech + watched a video on introductions for persuasive speeches + watched a video on writing the conclusion to a persuasive speech
Piano - 60-minute piano lesson + practiced for one hour
Khan Academy - None today
CLEP - Completed Module 12 reading “Europe: 1945 to Present" 14.1-14.2
Streaming - Watched Greatest Events of World War II in Color episode 10
Duolingo - Studied for 15 minutes (Spanish, French, Chinese) + completed daily quests
Reading - Read pages 223-259 of Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross
Chores - Laundry
Activities of the Day:
Personal Bible Study (2 Timothy 1)
Ballet
Pointe
Journal/Mindfulness
What I’m Grateful for Today:
I am grateful for candy! I certainly do not have it all the time because of all of the sugar (and my parents would not let me do that even if I wanted to), I do let myself enjoy a serving when I want something very sweet!
Quote of the Day:
When you give joy to other people, you get more joy in return. You should give a good thought to the happiness that you can give out.

Thanks for the tag @pianistbynight!
Favorite song of the moment: Magnetic - ILLIT
Current obsession: BABYMONS7ER mini-album
Style: dancer chic (I am constantly ready for ballet since I have class every day)
Celebrity crush: Am I supposed to have one of these? I will go with Maria Kochetkova (ballet dancer) and Chiquita (from BABYMONSTER) I love both of their styles and their work.
Favorite food and drink: Mandarins! My favorite drink is boba tea! But also the classic room-temperature water.
Place where I'd like to live: I would like to live somewhere with a lot of flowers and an abundance of nature. That would be one of my homes. My second home would be some place with a lot of history because history is fascinating to me. If I'm lucky, I'll find a place with both!
Hobby: Gaming!
Tagging: @anna--studies @cozy-compendium @girl-please-study @larstudy @neet-aspirant @turquoiseeyesandsilverskies
Thanks for the tag @charl3ss ! 💕
Favorite song of the moment: 2:45AM by Elliott Smith has been stuck in my head this week. "You beat it in me, that part of you/But I'm gonna split us back in two" and "Lookin' for somebody's arms/To wave away past harms". Yeah.
Current obsession: I've been obsessed with Goya's Black Paintings lately, thinking about them nearly every day. I've also been obsessed with We Have Always Lived in the Castle ever since I finished it, and I might read something else by Shirley Jackson soon!
Style: I'm not sure? I'd say it changes a lot of the time. People have told me I dress like a language teacher. There's denim jackets, blouses (a lot of the time with flowers), and sweaters. Jewelery is very important too.
Celebrity crush: Tamino.
Favorite food and drink: my favorite food is pasta! Favorite drink is coffee as of now because I can't live without it.
Place where I'd like to live: Somewhere with a colder weather! This sounds lame, but somewhere where it rains every single day would be nice. Maybe I'd get sick of it but I love cold weather.
Hobby: reading, over analyzing, drawing, themes, motifs, and symbolism.
No pressure tags: @godsofwoes @fxreflyes @theparisianowl @sugarsnappeases @winryrockbellwannabe
