The next day's scene was the most comic thing anyone could imagine. Jin and Namjoon were sitting just like two excited kids, both waiting for it to be the hour Emmy said she would pick them up. Meanwhile, Yoongi kept saying that he wasn't going anywhere, that he just wanted to sleep, but his friends knew it was a lie, if he had wanted to rest, he would have already locked himself in his room. Instead, the musician had bathed as soon as he got home from work and when it was time to get dressed, he did not choose his joggers. Despite Yoongi had already given up on the idea of clubbing, he was far from feeling excited as his friends. His social anxiety found fertile ground once he became aware that he didn't even know what this Hobi guy looked like. And to make everything worse, he was sure that Woosung would be there too. After all, Yoongi really couldn't stand him, it wasn't about his anxiety or shyness, he didn't like Woosung and he had plenty of reasons, at least that was what he thought. Still, Namjoon, Jin, and Emmy convinced him, and soon they were in the girl's luxurious car.

It was no surprise to Yoongi to see how Namjoon also fell for the girl's charms and charisma, especially when he found out that Emm liked literature, something that he was passionate about.

“Don't be jealous.” Jin whispered trying not to laugh at Yoongi's disgusted grimace.

"What are you talking about?"

Jin would have continued teasing him if the driver hadn't stopped on a street that the actor recognized, he used to go there with his friends, but he had never managed to get Yoongi to go. They were on the streets of the hippest clubs and bars in Seoul. A bohemian and fun university atmosphere surrounded all those streets. 

Yoongi glanced through the hundreds of side streets and twists and turns in there. "Where are we?" He asked a little dizzy from so many lights and music around him.

“Bro, over here you'll stumble on bar after bar, live music venues, coffee shops, restaurants, you name it.” The actor replied smiling excitedly. 

"The best way to get the most out of these streets is just to get lost and see where we end up,” Emmy replied. "And while I'd love to do that, I know you don't want to, so I asked the rest of the guys to wait for us at a barbecue restaurant a few blocks away."

"Oh! Are we going to that place where you get a key ring every time you visit it?" 

"That's the one," Emmy replied laughing when she saw Namjoon's enthusiasm, the boy didn't wait for them and was already several steps ahead. Soon, Jin caught up with his friend, leaving Yoongi and Emmy behind.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, there was no doubt who was waiting for them, for the applause and laughter of someone stood out among all the scandal. It was Hobi who was laughing out loud with Nara and Woosung.

“Shit!” Yoongi thought the moment he saw the musician waiting for them.

To everyone's surprise, Hoseok already knew Namjoon, in fact, he didn't even call him by his real name as he hugged him.

"R.M! My bro! I can't believe you're here!"

“What's up, Hobi? I'm such an idiot! I didn't pay attention when Emmy talked about you, or surely she called you by your name. If I had heard her calling you Hobi, I'd have known it from the beginning!"

"It doesn't matter, I'm so happy to see you, we're going to paaarty tonight!" He assured without stopping smiling.

After greeting Jin, it was time to introduce Yoongi to Hobi, and the dancer was everything but measured by how eager he was to finally meet him.

She also says that you cook delicious, among all the things she likes from you!” As a reply, Yoongi offered him his hand, but Hobi burst out laughing, especially because Emmy wanted to kill him, her face was burning. Yoongi's face when Hoseok hugged him like they were lifelong friends got to make Emm giggle again, for it was more than evident that the musician wasn't expecting that even though Emmy had already warned him how her best friend behaved.

"Oh... I've heard a lot about you too." Yoongi said chuckling shyly when the hug ended. "Emm just refers to you as the best dancer of all."

The girl laughed when she saw her best friend embarrassed and coming to his side, she hugged him tightly. "Come on Hobi, there's no need to be humble, you're the best dancer ever."

Hobi's funny answer and his laugh with Emmy's unlocked a memory in Yoongi. It was the image of a couple laughing and having fun under the snow, a boy with extravagant clothes, and a girl with a smile capable of leaving anyone breathless. It was them! That's why Emmy became so familiar to him from the first time! It was the same girl whose smile had bewitched him. How was he such a fool to realize until now? How, having her by his side all those nights while they played the piano, had he not realized it was her?

"Is everything alright?" Hobi and Emmy asked together when noticing the shock on the pianist's face.

"Huh? Yes, yes, I'm sorry. What did you just say?"

"Hobi was already starting to tell intimacies." Emm joked.

Amazingly, even though Yoongi's personality and Hobi and Emmy's were so different, the pianist laughed a lot those first few minutes he was with them. Hobi wasn't ashamed to tell him that the first time he had visited that place, he had ordered a main course so spicy that he had to run out looking for a bathroom. Hobi also didn't mind telling Yoongi about a time he dared to drink a bottle of soju by himself, but ended up being towed by Emmy, Woosung, and Nara. 

"It seems that you two are the same person," Yoongi commented with a smirk on his face and looking at Emmy. "I remember you told me about how problematic alcohol is for you, Emm."

"Problematic?" Hobi asked with a high-pitch voice. "Emm even forgets her name when she drinks! Hey, did you tell him what happened last time? Now that I remember it, it was after one of those nights when she stalked you, I mean, listen!"

"Hoby!" The girl covered her face when Yoongi let out one of those laughs that were especially rare to hear from him.

“It's one of the best stories! You see, Yoongi, it was my birthday and this lady agreed to try the vodka. Do you know what happened? She fell asleep, that's right! She fell asleep in the middle of a party! Although that was kind of cute.”

“Hey! In my defense, I was exhausted! Besides, you also fell asleep. And it was even worse! You snored in a karaoke booth."

Emmy and Hobi's guffaws were so contagious that Yoongi couldn't help but did the same. 

“It was a brilliant idea to introduce you to Jin, I remember this time he drank so much beer that he couldn't enter the house. He tried to open the door with some coins, but he lost the keys in a karaoke.”

As if by magic, when Jin heard his name, he appeared in front of them and started to complain and push his friend while he swore everything was a lie. As expected, Hobi ended up running to the bathroom and Jin stormed out directly to his chair. 

“Well… you already met my best friend, almost my brother. He's a little weird, but an amazing person.”

"Taking into account that you're so close to him, I understand a lot of things." 

"What's that supposed to mean?" Emmy's question and her pose with her hands on her hips made Yoongi smile. 

"You two are identical, freckles."

"I'm gonna take that on the bright side, but come on, Nara and Woosung are still waiting for us."

Since she turned so Yoongi could follow her, the girl missed how Yoongi's expression darkened. The kind smile Yoongi showed Hobi and then Nara left no trace in front of Woosung. In a matter of seconds, Yoongi's typically cold and disinterested look worsened to the point that the singer could sense the acid coming out of the pianist's gaze. 

"Yoongi, this is Woosung, you already met him. Maybe you don't remember because it was a long time ago. He picked me up after one of your rehearsals." 

"Can't recall," Yoongi sharply replied. 

"It's okay. Nice to see you, man."

The handshake between the two musicians occurred in a highly tense environment. Although Woosung wasn't the ray of sunshine that Hobi was, a nasty attitude was unusual on him, at least not when he was partying. Yet, the flirtatious and bold smile that characterized him was overshadowed by a slight grimace that barely showed the effort he was making for his friend. Even so, Woosung tried to talk to him, but Yoongi limited himself to answering what was strictly necessary.

“Have you ever heard Yoongi playing? He's the best!"

“Yes, I have, gorgeous. Who hasn't listened to Min Yoongi?" Woosung responded hiding an attempted smile behind his glass. “However, I haven't had the pleasure of hearing him speak more than a couple of words. I imagine you keep him entertained by talking, Emm. I mean, with all the talking coming from you, it's more than enough." He joked.

"Don't be rude, Woo..." Emm said pushing him with her shoulder, which led Yoongi to clear his throat and stared at Woosung.

“I guess you can consider it 'a lot' if you're not capable of listening. I don't blame you, a lot of people ignore how to properly listen."

"And what about you? You have already so many talents, is listening another of them? I spoke to you several times and never got an answer, I thought you hadn't heard."

"Oh, yes I did, I definitely did." 

Emm thought Yoongi was joking, but seeing him drink from the beer in front of him and then give her a slight smile, she knew that the answer to Woosung had been serious. Fortunately, Hoseok placed a new bottle in front of Woosung and distracted the musician, who was seconds away from spitting out even more poison than Yoongi.

“Go on, do your thing, drink. You look tired, bro, and today's an important day, Emmy brought her new friends.” 

A few seconds were enough for Hobi to erase any trace of tension at the table, and knowing Namjoon from before made it easier for everything to flow. Yoongi chose to ignore Woosung, first because he wasn't interested in having any communication with him, and second because he didn't want Emmy to feel uncomfortable. For his part, the singer did exactly the same and talked with the others. 

Meanwhile, Namjoon and Jin quickly felt part of the group. And how could they not do it if Nara, Hoseok, and Woosung had personalities so similar to Emmy's? Who, by the way, was without a doubt their favorite company. Yoongi had already gotten used to the boys appearing in the living room when the piano lessons were over. There were always games, movies, and funny conversations if Emmy was around, but the most amusing thing of all was seeing the dynamic between her and Yoongi, no one could make Yoonki laugh more than Emm. 

So, since her friends were so similar, it was no surprise when Nara proposed doing something more than just sitting down and talking.

“How about we play a game? Let's play the one with categories!” 

“I always end up losing…” Hoseok said quite discouraged.

“You, Hobi, you? I don't even make it to the third round.” Emmy commented covering her face just thinking about what her friend would suggest, every single idea that came from Nara's invention had to do with alcohol.

"We could play in teams!" Nara suggested.

"Who's gonna play with the only person besides Hobi that can't handle more than three drinks?"

“Me” Yoongi and Woosung replied at the same time.

The eye contact between both musicians exposed how they felt about each other. Fortunately, Jin made such a stupid comment about how amazing player he was that everyone but Yoongi and Woosung laughed. 

In the end, it was Namjoon the one in charge of organizing the teams. "Nara, you'll be in Jin's team, Emm and Yoongi can play together, and since Hobi needs so much help, Woosung and I will be on his team. I'll go ask for the bottles downstairs."

"Downstairs?" Woosung asked almost horrified at the idea of ​​having to go down and deal with that sea of ​​people. "No, dude, we don't do that. That's not necessary."

The singer looked for one of the waiters, and a simple wink was enough for the group to get at their table numerous bottles of different types of liquor. Yet, Yoongi noticed when the waiter asked something in Woosung's ear making him glimpse at Emmy. After getting the singer's response, the waiter approached Emm and for a fraction of a second, Yoongi could see how seriousness shadowed Hobi's face on the other side of the table. The pianist couldn't hear Emm's answer, as Jin was yelling at having lost without even starting the game, but he did manage to hear the word "Bivouac."

Minutes later, and as everyone foresaw, Hobi lost the game, even though Namjoon had downed most of the drinks, the dancer couldn't continue anymore. He was followed by Jin, who was so wasted that he couldn't stop laughing and hugging Hoseok, it seemed as if they had known each other their entire lives.

Nara looked pretty good for having consumed so much tequila. She had fairly good resistance to alcohol, but her words began to get confused and everyone made fun of her because they didn't quite understand what she was saying. Meanwhile, Yoongi discovered Namjoon was as wasted as Jin when he lost trying to name famous paintings. It was so humiliating for someone studying Art, that he decided to retire.

Despite the group had been having shots for over an hour, Emmy had only drunk two, the pianist had taken care of the rest. To tell the truth, Yoongi was the first to tell her that she didn't need to drink those two shots, he could do it, but Emmy insisted.

"Oh please, that can't be fair!" Nara said barely understandable when she saw that Yoongi was about to drink another one. "Emmy! Yoongi saved your ass the whole game, it's your turn to drink!"

"Yes, that's freedom!" Namjoon said trying to say that it was unfair. Hearing the stupidity he said, the boy preferred to sit in the back while everyone laughed.

"You don't have to do it if you don't want to," Yoongi whispered to her, but the girl shook her head.

He had seen her drink once and that was enough to know that her resistance was minimal. To make things worse, the bottle in front of them was not tequila, much less vodka, Woosung had opened one of absinthe and that was more alcohol than a normal person could resist. While the hands of the two musicians did not shake before that bottle and the shots, the rest suggested to change the alcohol. Even if they were that drunk, they were aware that just two drams of absinthe were sufficient to knock anyone down, and precisely the ones that Emmy had drunk came from that bottle. A third one would be a huge mistake. 

"Just a sip, NO more," Yoongi warned in Emm's ear when he saw her bringing the glass to her lips. "Emm..." Not having listened to him, Emmy drank everything Woosung had poured her.

"We're about to win, Yoongs!" Emm exclaimed and tried to clap, but she ended up losing her balance. However, no one noticed, as Yoongi quickly moved his shoulder so that the girl could lean on it.

"Okay, next category will be..." Woosung was interrupted by Yoongi moving aside his glass and Emmy's. 

"I give up, I lost."

"What?!" They all asked at the same time.

The entire game Woosung and Yoongi competed without any craftiness, they didn't exchange words between them, but their gazes said it all. Besides, it was enough to know Yoongi a little to know that giving up was not one of his attributes. There was no point in him giving up when he looked perfectly sober, the only reason could be that he wanted to stop the game.

"Why are you such a party pooper? You and Emm are about to win!” Jin asked at the same time that Hoseok smiled, he understood why the pianist had done it.

"I think Yoongi's right, if we keep drinking like this, no one will be able to walk out of this place," Nara added.

"Are you sure? We're so close to win..." The couple's closeness allowed Emm to take Yoongi's hand without anyone noticing, anyone but Woosung. "You don't have to worry about me, I can handle it." She assured in a way that led Yoongi to show her a sweet smile. 

"Sure, I know you can, but I can't, freckles."

"Oh! So we must stop!"

Woosung witnessed in total silence not only how the musician adjusted Emm's sleeve before revealing more skin, but also the warmth in her eyes. He had never seen his friend so attached to someone, and although he refused to admit it at that time, Woosung had never seen anyone treat Emmy with such tenderness and affection, not even himself.

Meanwhile, the consequences of drinking as there was no tomorrow forced the guys to look for food. However, it was already late and the place they chose had already closed the kitchen. That's when Yoongi realized that Jin and Emmy had meant it when they told him that anything was possible on those streets. They were supposed to be in a restaurant, or so they had told the pianist, but now, it was a club with people dancing and toasting.

That was how Jin, Nara, and Namjoon quickly went out to get something to eat so they could return with the rest. Woosung, for his part, had caught some friends and went to say hi, leaving Hobi, Yoongi, and Emmy by themselves at the table.

"Emm, are you sure you feel okay? We should go get something to eat, maybe there's a place selling tteokbokki, you were craving it."

"That's brilliant! Go, go go!" Said Hoseok pushing them. "Be careful with the stairs!"

"Wait, Hobi. What about you?" The girl asked before even getting up.

"I'll be fine."

Emmy and Yoongi looked at each other, as neither considered leaving him there alone. However, before they asked Hobi to go with them, he ran to where Woosung was, he wasn't planning to be the third wheel, and he was so obvious that the couple couldn't help but chuckle.  

Trying to walk, everything around Emmy began to spin, she couldn't even see clearly.

"I'm here, everything's okay," Yoongi assured placing his hands on her waist. “I told you not to drink it all, freckles. Let's take you to the bathroom first."  

The place was so packed that it was almost inevitable to bump into other people, yet Emmy never did it. Yoongi was watching her back, especially when they got to the extremely narrow stairs.

"Yoongs..." Emmy called noticing how risky would be to walk on those spiral stairs. 

As a response, Yoongi went from being behind her, to her side, and taking her hand, he brought her closer to his body. With great care and patience, he helped her. Thanks to Yoongi, Emm didn't sway. They were so close that the musician was almost carrying her. Finally, they got to the bathrooms and Yoongi waited for her at the door. Once Emm came out, Yoongi laughed heartily seeing how she was wearing the dress; in addition, she had tried to fix her makeup, but the only thing she achieved was applying her lipstick everywhere except her lips.

"Yoongi!" Emm exclaimed as Yoongi walked in with her and closed the door.

"Turn around."

Not understanding what was happening, the girl obeyed and totally different from what anyone would expect to happen in a bar bathroom with a boy with whom there was plenty of attraction, Yoongi fixed her dress. He made sure the sleeves were in place and the zipper was up. He also put the hair clip in place, and then carefully cleaned up where the lipstick had come off.

“Do I look that bad?” Emmy asked very embarrassed, but Yoongi shook his head while smiling.

“Let's keep this look just for the two of us. Deal? I don't like to share, freckles." The cute laugh that Emmy let out made Yoongi look into her eyes and caress her cheek. "How do you feel? I tried to keep you from drinking so much, but you wouldn't listen to me."

"I'm perfect, just a little dizzy."

“Do you want me to drop you home?”

"No! It's the first time you agree to go out with my friends. Everyone's glad to have you here. Me too, me more than everyone!” She confessed hugging him and Yoongi couldn't help but giggle when he felt Emmy's little balance even to hug him.

"Okay, but before anything else, let's go get you something to drink."

Emmy nodded as Yoongi turned to open the door and offered her his hand. They both left hand in hand, but before walking any further, the girl held him tighter, causing Yoongi to turn around and look at her.

“Can we drink something other than absinthe? I don't think I can take any more of that."

The pianist's laughter upon hearing that made several of the girls nearby turn to look at him. Yoongi could be discreet and didn't like to attract attention, but even if he didn't want to, he did it. He was truly attractive. Besides, he made a beautiful couple with Emmy and although several of the people who were there knew the girl, they had never seen her hand in hand with anyone.

"Yoongi!" She called when the boy continued to laugh and shake his head.

He didn't need to answer anything, because when they arrived in front of the bartender, Emmy discovered that what he intended to give her was a bottle of water.

“Did you really think I was going to let you drink more alcohol?" Trying to give her the bottle, Yoongi saw Emmy looking for her purse. 

The musician had to try very hard to convince her to let him pay for her water. Yoongi thought he had succeeded until the girl put a condition on him. She would accept his water if he agreed to dance together.

Good morning!  I hope you slept well and feel rested?  Currently sitting at my desk, in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.  Welcome to the weekend!

Wow!  Here we are again: Friday!  Where did that week go?  No, seriously, where did that week go?

Yesterday, we watched a Netflix movie called ‘Players’.  Now, as you know, I am the rom-com king, I love them and, no, I’m not a big girl’s blouse, I’m just a romantic.  I love emotion, I love soul, I love passion.  I watch a lot of films in this genre and ‘Players’ is very poor.  Halfway through the film, we knew how it was ending.  This is not good!  Saw a good interview with Sting the other day, where he said that if he isn’t surprised within the first eight bars, he stops listening!  Brutal, I know, but he’s a trained musician and he needs to be musically stimulated.  Same with me and rom coms.  I need original characters; I need plot twists and I need surprises.  This was very, very generic and predictable.  I wish I had a literary agent, so I could get my novel to Netflix.

The Trouble enjoyed ‘Players’, which is unlike her; she prefers science fiction and fantasy.  Give her Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter or Lord Of The Rings and she’s happy.  I guess the thing that irritated me about ‘Players’ is that Netflix were repeating a tried and tested formula.  I hate formulas!  Is anybody creating tracks like ‘Stairway To Heaven’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘I’m Not In Love’ or ‘In The Air Tonight’ anymore.  No!  Most new TV shows, most new movies and most new music follows a formula.  Shock me!  Surprise me!  Stimulate me!  Is it too much to ask for?  Is there anybody out there making something as good as ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’, ‘Terms Of Endearment’ or ‘Slumdog Millionaire’?  Probably not.
