Such content is particularly significant in light of the fact that third-party sites regularly republish information and pictures they find online. Distributing your own content guarantees that the material they distribute is yours rather than the content you have no power over.
Statistics show that 75% of individuals accept the web as a solid wellspring of information about items or services. In any event, thinking about the local business, 98% of the individuals see the online reviews and evaluations before they look for wanted items or services.

Sun Myung Moon’s 21 year course from 1946-1967 ended in failure
Tumblr media
▲ In this photo, taken in San Francisco (probably late 1962), John Lofland is sitting at the back on the left. Young-oon Kim is in the front row, second from the left; Peter Koch is in the center wearing glasses; Doris Orme is two behind him near the back. It may be Edwin Ang on the right. __________________________________________
Moon started his ‘public ministry’ in Pyongyang in 1946. His 21-year course was supposed to end in 1967. When it did not, some members left the UC. __________________________________________

God’s Day Speech – Reverend Sun Myung Moon
 January 1, 1973, 7:00 a.m. Tarrytown, New York
Translated by Mrs. Won Pok Choi

Question: At that time, in 1967, Miss Kim [Young Oon Kim] was teaching that was the end of the 21-year course.
Question: In 1967 I was told that it was the end of the 21 year course, and then the judgment was coming, and that should end in 1974. But I haven’t heard him say anything lately about what will happen in 1974, or the significance of what will happen at the end of that course.
http://www.tparents.org/Moon-Talks/SunMyungMoon73/SM730101.htm __________________________________________ John Lofland referenced the 1967 prophecy in his book, Doomsday Cult: A Study of Conversion, Proselytization, and Maintenance of Faith. (1966, 1977)
The book was a study of the Unification Church group led by Young Oon Kim in San Francisco in 1962-63.
page 25
…
The foregoing matters were secret, but still more so was the belief in a fully restored world within seven years of 1960. Revelations 7:4 had to be fulfilled within that period: “And I heard the number of those who had received the seal. From all the tribes of Israel there were a hundred and forty-four thousand.” Upon attaining this number the “spirit world” would become visible to everyone and cause mass member conversions. The current order would collapse in the process, and members would assume the reins of the new theocracy. Members were circumspect in speaking of Korea’s “true role,” lest outsiders doubt these American’s loyalty. In safe company, Korea was venerated as “the motherland” and God’s “chosen nation.”

pages 227-28

The most spectacular of these visits supported the feeling that UC political control of Korea was imminent. In November 1962, the mass media reported the official United States visit of a Korean political figure known as the “Director” [KCIA Director, Kim Jong-pil]. A feature story on Korea and the Director’s visit appearing in a national news magazine said he was the mastermind behind the then current Korean military junta [of Park Chung-hee]. He “provides the ideas, the drive, the plans. By his own immodest but unchallenged statement, [he] is the dominant figure of … [the] ‘revolution.’ ” After talks with high level officials in Washington, the Director spent two days in San Francisco before returning to Korea. He stayed in a luxurious hotel that flew the Korean flag over its main entrance in order to honor his presence.
Tumblr media
▲ Young-oon Kim in about 1962.
The day of his arrival, Miss Kim received a phone call from the Director’s aide and interpreter, a Korean army colonel and UC member. He told her that he had arranged an audience with the Director for Miss Kim and her followers. Miss Kim and five core converts appeared at the hotel the next afternoon, where they met another of the Director’s aides, who had only recently converted to the UC. Before entering the Director’s suite, the Koreans conversed excitedly in their native tongue, while American members stood around and giggled with joy. The audience with the Director himself consisted of Miss Kim telling him of her work for the UC in America, after which each local member gave a brief testimony to the UC/Divine Principle’s wonders and how it had changed their lives. The interpreter translated for the converts and for the Director, who continually smiled, nodded, and chain smoked. There were soft drinks, and toward the end of the hour the Director said that he was not a religious man but had great sympathy with UC. He could not help them publicly in Korea, but he would secretly give them a hand whenever possible.
After the audience, the members assembled in the interpreter’s room, where pictures were taken and an air of family festivity reigned.
Dinner talk back in the UC Center focussed on the audience. Miss Kim emphasized that such a meeting was unique and had occurred only because the Director had high regard for his two aides who were UC members. Note was made of the recently converted Colonel being related by marriage to the junta head and thus having direct access to him. The Director’s interpreter, Miss Kim reported, was also his speech writer. When assigned to write a speech, he always got help from a top-ranking person in Moon’s movement in order to give the speeches a Divine Principle slant. Church members had a strong suspicion that the two aides would eventually convert the Director, Kim Jong-pil.
Since Sun Myung Moon was to control the world by 1967, control of his home base [Korea] would certainly come before that time. Although UC members in America were obscure and ignored, even the most skeptical had to agree that, for some months in 1962 at least, Korean control was not a fantasy. Members had access to the people whose conversion could have given them power, if only in a short-lived coup. In any event, after their meeting with the KCIA Director, Kim Jong-pil, members possessed an important sense of being secretly near the center of power in Korea. Was this not testimony to the Unification Church member’s truth [the Divine Principle]?”
(aliases corrected in the above text – in his book, John Lofland used aliases for everyone. Miss Kim was known as Miss Lee. It was an open secret that the book was about the UC.)
Further details of this visit of KCIA Director, Kim Jong-pil HERE __________________________________________

COMMON CLAY
1915
Tumblr media
Common Clay is a three act play with prologue and epilogue by Cleves Kinkead. It was originally produced by A.H. Woods starring Jane Cowl and John Mason. The play was the recipient of the Harvard Prize in 1914.
Kinkead considered nearly 20 titles, including Hush Money and Sauce for the Goose, before finally settling on Common Clay.
THE STORY: Ellen Neal, a girl of ill-repute, has come to the home of the wealthy Richard Fullerton as a servant, with hopes of turning over a new leaf. At once, however, she meets a man who seduces her. The curtain falls on her in the arms of the agreeable young son of the house.
Months pass. Fullerton Sr. comes to his friend, Judge Filson, in distress because Ellen is blaming his son with with the paternity of her child and asking for recognition. The father is resolved that the family name will not be tarnished. The Judge makes a personal plea for her fair treatment, relating a story of his own youth. Fullerton, however, will hear nothing of marriage. Her seducer’s evidence is to be used to weaken her case against the Fullertons, but his admission makes him liable to criminal prosecution.
In court, Ellen tells her story. Her mother is called to testify and reveals the truth of Ellen's parentage. Inspired by her mother’s story, Ellen decides to let the man go free. The courtroom empties and Judge Filson offers to let her win the future of her dreams.
Tumblr media
The play opened in Boston MA at the Castle Square Theatre on January 7, 1915. It was performed by the Craig Players (a stock company).
Tumblr media
At the end of March 1915, after more than 100 performances, it was reported that producer A.H. Woods had acquired the lay. Negotiations between Woods and the author in Boston were not without their amusing incident. Woods was sitting in a restaurant one night with Kinkead when actor Malcolm Williams stopped at their table
Tumblr media
WOODS: "Have you seen ‘Common Clay’?" WILLIAMS: “Yep.”  WOODS: "What do you think of it?”  WILLIAMS: "Great Scott! You're not over here to buy that terrible thing are you? That’s the rottenest play I ever saw in my life!”  WOODS: “Permit me to introduce you to Mr. Kinkead, the author.”
It is reported that Williams lost seven pounds in the next five minutes. After 20 weeks, the play closed on May 8, 1915, breaking all house records for the Castle Square Theatre.
Tumblr media
The A.H. Woods production of Common Clay opened in Atlantic City at Nixon’s Apollo Theatre on August 2, 1915. On August 9th the play was seen at the Savoy Theatre in Asbury Park and at the nearby Broadway in Long Branch on August 12th. On August 16th the production as seen at the Shubert New Haven.
Tumblr media
Common Clay opened on Broadway at the Theatre Republic (now the New Victory Theatre) on August 26, 1915.
The first week in September 1915 the play was also seen in special engagement week of  performances in Boston at the Castle Square Theatre where it originated The production staged was not the same as the one presented on Broadway by Woods.
Tumblr media
“With all its faults, including frequent creakiness of the machinery, ‘Common Clay' is never-the-less an exceedingly interesting play which is well calculated to hold the attention of the New York public for some time to come. An especially good point in its favor is the excellent acting throughout.” ~ BROOKLYN LIFE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Cohan Revue at Broadway’s Astor Theatre contained a parody of Common Clay’s courtroom scene. It performed from February through June 1916.
Common Clay ran for 316 performances, closing on June 3, 1916. Cowl immediately went into a play titled Betty Behave, but promised to return to Common Clay for a short tour. The play set up shop in Chicago, where John Mason was replaced by Orme Caldara.

Jackie Ormes: A Cartoonist Ahead of Her Time
“I have never liked dreamy little women who can't hold their own." –Jackie Ormes
Jackie Ormes is best known as a trail-blazing African-American cartoonist, but she was also a journalist and a civil rights activist. She created two extremely different comics that were seen in newspapers published expressly for African-American readers. Prior to World War II these readers followed the romances of adventuress Torchy Brown, but after the War, Miss Ormes’s single panel comic Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger provided biting social commentary through an outspoken six-year old named Patty-Jo.
Tumblr media

Jackie Ormes Gets Her Start
Jackie Ormes was “born on August 1, 1911, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania”(1) as Zelda Mavin Jackson. Her father, William Winfield Jackson ran a movie theater and had owned a printing company in Pittsburgh. After he was killed in an automobile accident in 1917, young Zelda and her sister went to live with an aunt and uncle. After her mother remarried, the girls moved with her and her new husband to Monongahela, outside of Pittsburgh.(1)
Throughout high school Jackie, an avid artist and cartoonist, became the arts editor for her high school year book.(1) Her correspondence with the editor of The Pittsburgh Courier, “a weekly African American newspaper that came out every Saturday”(2) led to her first assignment, as a proofreader. Jackie’s talent and hard work soon earned her reporting assignments covering everything from human interest stories to local boxing matches.(1)
In 1936, Jackie met and married businessman Earl Ormes.” Sadly, the couple “lost their only child, Jacqueline, to a brain aneurysm at age 3”(3).
Torchy Brown: “From Dixie to Harlem”
On May 1, 1937 The Pittsburgh Courier became the first newspaper to publish a comic strip written and drawn by a woman of color. (1) On that date Torchy Brown in “From Dixie to Harlem” first appeared in the paper. The strip followed the adventures “of a young country girl who moves from Mississippi to New York City in order to make it as a lounge singer at the famed Cotton Club”(2). While Torchy Brown was written with a humorous tone, the story line “mirrored the journey of many African-Americans who ventured northward during the Great Migration”(1).
The Torchy Brown series “was not syndicated in the usual sense” (1), The Pittsburgh Courier had over a dozen regional editions that were published in cities across the United States. In this way, Jackie’s work had exposure to millions of readers (3).
The Torchy Brown strip only ran for one year. No one knows exactly why the strip didn’t run longer, but there is some speculation that Ormes’s contract with The Courier had ended. Perhaps another reason was that Jackie’s husband, Earl had been offered a job in Chicago (4).
Jackie Ormes: “From Pittsburgh to Chicago”
In Chicago, Earl Ormes became a successful manager in the hotel business, first managing “the DuSable Hotel and later … the more upscale Sutherland Hotel”(4). Once settled in Chicago, Jackie was active in “the music, fashion and artistic communities of Chicago”(4). She had not, however, lost interest in her journalism. Based on her work at The Pittsburgh Courier, she persuaded the editor of one of Chicago’s African-American newspapers, The Chicago Defender to hire her (4).
In 1945, Jackie Ormes returned to cartooning with a one panel strip in The Defender called Candy. The strip “featured a curvaceously-drawn housemaid who wisecracked about her unseen employer and borrowed clothes from her boss’ wardrobe” (4). Unfortunately, Candy was also short-lived, running about four months from March to July (1), and then Ms. Ormes went back to special assignment work for the paper (3).

Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger
Later in 1945 Jackie Ormes, introduced her most successful and longest running comic Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger selling it to her old employer, The Pittsburgh Courier. The strip features the brash and outspoken six-year-old Patty-Jo and her silent sounding board older adult sister Ginger. “Despite her age, Patty-Jo has both a ‘smart mouth’ and keen insights into” (4) the racial situation in the United States during that time.
Tumblr media

The comic’s popularity led Ms. Ormes in 1947 to market a “Patty-Jo” doll.  She “contracted with the Terri Lee doll company … to produce a play doll based on her little girl cartoon character” (1). The doll was popular with both black and white children (1).
Tumblr media

The Return of Torchy Brown
In August 1950 The Pittsburgh Courier started publishing “an eight-page color comics insert” (1) which gave Ms. Ormes the opportunity to reprise her Torchy Brown character of 1937 in the strip Torchy in Heartbeats. The new Torchy strip also featured a Torchy paper doll with costumes that demonstrated Ms. Ormes’ talent as a fashion designer. Unlike the Torchy of the 1930s, the resurrected Torchy “was confident, intelligent, and brave” (1) unlike the usual stereotype of African American women at the time. Like Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger, Ms. Ormes used Torchy to spotlight controversial issues “everything from race to sex to environmental pollution” (1). During this time, Ms. Ormes support for civil rights and other leftist political issues subjected her to an investigation by the FBI during the McCarthy Era (1,2).
Tumblr media

Jackie Ormes Later Years
The last installment of Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger ran on September 22, 1956, and it has been speculated that “editorial changes within The Pittsburgh Courier (4)” led Ms. Ormes to retire from cartooning. Although her cartooning days were over, she continued to remain artistically active working on still life paintings, portraits, and murals until the mid-1960s when painful arthritis caused her to stop. She did continue to contribute to many Chicago non-profit organizations with volunteer work and fundraising efforts. One of her most prestigious positions was on the board of directors for the DuSable Museum of African American History. Ms. Ormes was also an avid doll collector with over 150 dolls in her collection. (1)
Jackie Ormes’s Legacy
In 1976 Jackie Ormes’s husband Earl died after forty years of marriage. (1) Ms. Ormes died in Chicago on the day after Christmas in 1985.(4) In 2007 Cheryl Lynn Eaton, writer and cartoonist, founded The Ormes Society, which promotes black female comics artists; the following year a biography of Ms. Ormes was written and published by Nancy Goldstein.(2) In 2014 Ms. Ormes was posthumously inducted into the National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Fame. On September 1, 2020, a Google Doodle commemorated Ms. Ormes and her work. (1) Filmmaker Susan Reib is currently working on a film based Miss Ormes’ life and her Torchy Brown comics.(5)
Through her artistic talent combined with courage and independence, Jackie Ormes was able to influence both the civil rights and womens’ rights movements in a way that no other artist could. Her work continues to inspire contemporary artists and activists.

Dating a tattoo artist
Imagine: being a tattoo artist and your boyfriend being part of it
This was a fun idea I had. I hope you like it. Enjoy ❤️
Victor Creed
Tumblr media
-he is here for it
-since his loooooonnnnggg life is well long he loves to tells stories of tattoo artists he met Japan, Brazil, New York, New Zeland...
-and you can bet that he will have the most elaborate tattoo you can think of since he said so
'You want a tattoo? From me?'
'Yes, I trust you.'
'That's the problem, Vic, you could end up with a dolphin tattoo on your arm.'
'.... Well... I still trust you?'
-after that, he was a little bug just to be on your good side which you took full advantage of
Being on top, commanding him? Sure
Handing you the remote even though it's next to you? Of course
Helping you choose an outfit even though you are indecisive and he has a short fuse? Hell yeah.
-when the day came you tattooed him a small quote that described him
"Tough times never last but tough people do"
(Robert H. Shuller)
'I love it. Thank you kitten.'
Loki Laufeyson
Tumblr media
-Since he was in the cell for most of his life (in my universe that's the worst thing happening for him, he didn't die nor his mother) he doesn't know what a tattoo artist is he thinks that's an alternative art form he is supportive
-after you talk to him describing the definition of tattoos and the art behind it he is very much perplexed
'So mortals pay you to pierce their skin with black ink to paint...something????'
'Tattoo something on their skin and yes.'
'With pain in mind?????'
'Yes, and it looks awesome.'
-when he heard the story of your tattoo shop he decided to tag along to see the magic
-he saw how men and women tattooed others while they squirmed in their seats he chuckled at the sight of it
'Darling you could have told me.'
'What?'
'You torture people with the needle machines and coax them into paying you. Brilliant.'
'Suree~~~~'
-he stayed with you to help you with the pain giving without a medical license
'I'm a God. I'm above it.'
'No one is above the Inspection.'
Thor Odinson
-since his depression and weight gain he is very much informed of the world of MTV tattoo show "How far is tattoo far?"
Tumblr media
-so he very much thinks that tattoos are a stamp of disgrace
-and keeping that in mind he is frazzled why are you doing a job like that
'You are a shame barer?'
'Shame-what...? Thor! I'm not. The show is a disgrace to the tattoo world.'
'Shame~~barer~~~'
'Just come with me and spend one day and see it for yourself.'
-Thor is reluctant much to his words but still, you sat him down in the waiting lobby he chats up the customers a.k.a big muscular dudes that are already tattooed from the neck down
'So... what is your shame? What horrible deed have you done to come here?'
'Excuse me!?'
'You must be here to condemn your shame by immortalizing it with a flesh sticker.'
-at this point, the muscle dude stood up ready to attack Thor but you intervene quickly
'Marc, stop!'
-the man turned around hiding his tight fist behind his back
'Y/n, already done? That's fast.'
'Marc, you know that you were released 7 months ago and you are still on parole. Come on. Stop it.'
'He insulted me and-and my tattoos. Your tattoos. You know how am about your work.'
-Thor hears that as stands up grabbing Marc's arm examining the tattoos in amazement
'My darling, I want that felsh sticker as he has.'
'.......... Sure........ Wait here. Let's go, Marc. I need to vent.'
Steve Rogers
Tumblr media
-Steve knows what tattoos are since he has seen the stick and poke of his fellow soldiers but never a photorealistic tattoo in your portfolio
-he is very much intrigued how you made that look like a real person on someone's skin knowing very well there is no eraser
-loves to ask how do you achieve such colors that simply jump out or how you make a fabric that of a shirt or some patterns, he is armed with questions
-and since he is an art wizard himself he loves to have a painting duel with you, you paint on his skin with watercolors and he paints on the canvas
-that's one of his favorite moments
'What did you draw?'
'A dolphin kissing a penguin.'
'What?!'
'Just kidding I painted the building in Brooklyn where you lived.'
'Did I tell you how much I love you?'
Bucky Barnes
Tumblr media
-this man thrives to see you fulfill your dream and passion
-especially when he picks you up, he parks the car exiting it and walking in seeing you talk to your employees and customers exchanging stories and laughs even though in the near distance is the buzzing sounds of the machine guns
-you see him and grab his hand giving him a peck on his lips as a cheeky grin is stuck on his face
-as you talk about your day he always asks the question
'Were there any wusses?'
-alluding to men who cried out form the stinging pain, eventually tapping out to take a break
'Yes, a big dude Marc. Ordered a neck tattoo with details. Tapped out in 15 minutes.'
'I knew it!'
-he enjoys in the hilarious stories you can make up... I mean tell
Bruce Wayne
Tumblr media
-you already know the drill he has money he will give it to you but politely delined
-he tried to help with purest of heart but still, the answer was no
-he loved to see your shop filled with many customers as he walked incognito, sunglasses and a cap saying he wasn't a private appointment with the head tattooer
-Let's just say you were pretty much in tears of laughter as he reveled his face
'At least you tried, Bruce.'
-he loves to talk about tattoos and the process of healing if it's on top of a scar
-you are hooked on the conversation and even make him some sketches
'A huge dragon on your back with black and gold lining.'
'Okay but how about initials of my parents?'
'That sounds... Better much much better.'
-so the day of his tattooing comes you tattoo in his inner arm putting the letter T. & M. W.
'Thank you Princess.'
Clark Kent
Tumblr media
-Clark loves to see the vast tattoos so much that he wants one but he knows that his body will "absorb" the tattoo too fast making it disappear in a few months maybe weeks
-but still, he loves to see how your gaze is sharp focused on the tattooing even when HE walks that is how much you are focused
'Alrighty, Marc you are done.'
'Thanks, Y/n, you are the best.'
-Clark also loves to hear the influx of comments of your artistry even if he's a little jealous
-he loves to see just how much you are happier to follow this insane passion
'You are an inspiration Y/n.'
'Why?'
'Because... You just are.'

Sun Myung Moon’s 21 year course from 1946-1967 ended in failure

▲ In this photo, taken in San Francisco (probably late 1962), John Lofland is sitting at the back on the left. Young-oon Kim is in the front row, second from the left; Peter Koch is in the center wearing glasses; Doris Orme is two behind him near the back. It may be Edwin Ang on the right.

God’s Day Speech – Reverend Sun Myung Moon January 1, 1973, 7:00 a.m. Tarrytown, New York Translated by Mrs. Won Bok Choi

John Lofland referenced the 1967 prophecy in his book, Doomsday Cult: A Study of Conversion, Proselytization, and Maintenance of Faith. (1966, 1977) The book was a study of the Unification Church group led by Young Oon Kim in San Francisco in 1962-63.
page 25 ... In safe company, Korea was venerated as “the motherland” and God’s “chosen nation.” pages 227-28 The most spectacular of these visits supported the feeling that UC political control of Korea was imminent. By his own immodest but unchallenged statement, [he] is the dominant figure of . . . [the] ‘revolution.’ ” After talks with high level officials in Washington, the Director spent two days in San Francisco before returning to Korea. He stayed in a luxurious hotel that flew the Korean flag over its main entrance in order to honor his presence.
(aliases corrected)

earth-82: teams, part i
okay, so people seem interested and i’m dying to talk about this universe so here we go! my version of dc canon. i’m splitting this up into multiple posts because otherwise it’ll turn into a monster.
this first post will focus on my versions of the founders of the justice league and my version of the founders of the teen titans. it’s mostly aligned with canon but with (what i think are) some interesting divergencies.
.
.
.
The Justice League of America
the second existing major superhero team within the dc universe and eventually the most expansive.
Bruce Wayne (Batman) - Bruce witnessed his parents’ death when he was seven years old and after that he was put into the custody of Alfred Pennyworth (his family’s butler) and Leslie Thompkins (a doctor friend of Thomas’s). During his college years, Bruce sought out training so that he could eventually return to Gotham and attempt to eradicate crime. During this time, he joins the League of Assassins for awhile and fell into a brief relationship with Talia Al-Ghul. He became Batman at 23 and adopted Dick Grayson a year later.
Clark Kent | Kal-El (Superman) - Kal-El is the only son of Jor-El and Lara-El (nee Lor-Van), who was born during Krypton’s last days. Jor and Lara sent him to Earth, with the hope that he would be taken in by a human family who would raise him well. When Kal landed he was found by Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent (nee Clark), a childless couple. Martha convinced Jonathan that they should adopt Kal and they eventually chose to name him Clark Joseph Kent and raise him as a normal human, despite his strange origins. He became Superman at 22, a few months after being employed at the Daily Planet.
Diana, daughter of Hippolyta (Wonder Woman) - Diana, Princess of Themyscira, was Queen Hippolyta’s only daughter. Made from clay, Diana is the result of multiple goddesses deciding to give Hippolyta her wish to have a child. Diana grew up semi-isolated on Paradise Island, surrounded by the Amazons but lacking company her own age. She was almost three thousand years old when Steve Trevor landed on Themyscira. After a series of challenges that she won, Diana was chosen as Champion of the Gods and left Themyscira with Steve. She helped end WWI but didn’t return to Themyscira at this point, because she had fallen in love with Steve. She stayed with him until he died, before returning to Paradise Island. She left Themyscira several more times and at one point brought a young orphaned baby girl back with her to Themyscira. Hippolyta chose to adopt the girl and raise her as Diana’s sister. Diana chose the name Donna, in honor of a fallen friemd. Diana became known as the Wonder Woman in certain conspiracy and history circles around the time of the Gulf War.
Arthur Curry | Orin (Aquaman) - King of Atlantis, Arthur is the son of Atlanna, the former Queen of Atlantis, and Tom Curry, a human lighthouse keeper. He was raised in the surface world but was informed of his Atlantean heritage at a young age. His father got sick when Arthur was fifteen and afraid, Arthur fled to Atlantis. Once there, he learned his mother was believed to be dead and that her husband (Orvax) had been made king. Arthur was welcomed to the kingdom, as a member of the royal family. Arthur was there for two months before Orvax was killed by a rampaging sea monster and the Council of Atlantis was split about who should inherit the throne, but ends up choosing his younger half-brother Orm, with Nuidis Vulko as his advisor. At first, Arthur seemed welcome at Orm’s side, but he was soon informed by a mute servant that Orm planned to have him killed. The servant, an Atlantean mutant named Dolphin, helped him escape and took him to the stronghold of the rebellion that was is a member of. He, with the help of the growing rebellion led by Mera, overthrew Orm and Arthur - now known as Orin throughout the kingdom - took his place on the throne.
Kendra Muñoz-Saunders (Hawkgirl) - Kendra is the reincarnation of Chay-Ara, an Egyptian priestess of Isis who - alongside her lover, Prince Khufu, and a priest of Hathor, Hath-Set - found Thanagarian nth metal, which turned them into Thanagarian-human hybrids and made it so they would reincarnate each time they died. This lifetime Kendra is an archeologist, along the vein of Lara Croft. On her twenty-first birthday, she received her first memory of her life as Chay-Ara and has since retrieved many more of both Chay-Ara’s and her other past lives.
Barry Allen (The Flash) - Barry Allen was destined to become the Flash, not that he knows this. When he was eleven years old Eobard Thawne travelled back in time from the twenty-fifth century and murdered his mother before disappearing again. Barry’s father was blamed for his wife’s murder and imprisoned for the crime, despite Barry’s protests. Barry was adopted by Jay and Joan Garrick. His best friend (and crush) growing up was Iris West and he ended up spending half his time at her place, making it so he saw the Wests as a second family. Barry is a certifiable genius and managed to graduate high school at sixteen. Barry went through college and got a degree in biochemistry and could have gone farther and become a renowned scientist but instead chose to become a CSI for the CCPD. Barry became the second Flash (though for about six months he was known only as the Scarlet Speedster) when he was twenty-two, due to a lightning strike which hit him and caused him to crash into a bookshelf of chemicals. Unknown to him, the lightning was actually the Speed Force choosing him.
Dinah Lance (Black Canary II) - Dinah is the eldest daughter of Larry and D.D. Lance, born with a dominant metagene. The metagene activated during a traumatic childhood experience when she almost fell from a great height but managed to stop herself from hitting the ground with a powerful scream. Dinah grew up in Gotham City with her Uncle John Zatara and his daughter - her best friend - Zee Zatara and her Uncle Ted Grant. When Dinah turned eighteen years old, she left Gotham and moved to Seattle, where she started college, joined a (pretty good) punk band, and became known as the “Lady in Black” - a vigilante that stopped muggers and rapists with a single scream and a few well-placed kicks. Little did Dinah know that she’s following in the footsteps of her mother, the first Black Canary.
Zatanna Zatara (Zatanna) - Zatanna is the daughter of Giovanni “John” Zatara, a golden-aged superhero called the Magician who had been a member of the JSA and was capable of some magic (a descendant of the Homo Magi), and Sindella, one of the last pure Homo Magi. Zee was born with magical potential the like of which few could compare. Due to John being close friends with D.D. Lance and Thomas Wayne, Zee grew up as a friend of Dinah Lance and Bruce Wayne. John decided to move to Europe when Zee was ten years old and while Zee lost contact with Bruce, she stayed close to Dinah. During her time in Europe, John sought out magicians to help train Zee. When she was eighteen, Zee decided to leave Europe (and her on-again-off-again boyfriend John Constantine) and move to Las Vegas to try and get a start as a stage magician, following in the footsteps of her father.
Original Teen Titans
the beginnings of the first teen superhero team.
Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) - Dick is the son of circus acrobats, John and Mary Grayson, who were killed when he was eight years old. He was taken in by Bruce Wayne and became Robin the next year. Robin is the most experienced sidekick, having already been apart of the vigilante world for four years before the team formed. He became Nightwing when he was seventeen years old and was at that point de facto the leader of the team, alongside Wonder Girl and Starfire.
Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) - Donna is an orphan that Diana rescued from a burning building and took to Themyscira. Donna was adopted by Queen Hippolyta and blessed by the gods to become immortal herself and to gain all the other attributes of the Amazons. When Donna turned twelve, she convinced Diana to take her to Man’s World. She attended a Justice League meeting, which is where she met and became fast friends with Dick Grayson. She and Dick remained friends even as she returned to Themyscira, communicating through letters they exchanged through their mentors. When Donna was fourteen, and Dick thirteen, they convinced Diana and Bruce to let them have a sanctuary of their own, which Bruce produced in New York City and would eventually become Titans Tower. Donna and Dick are the founding and core members of the Teen Titans.
Karyn Zor-El / Karen Starr (Power Girl/Flamebird) - Karyn is the eldest daughter of Zor-El and Alura In-Ze, four years older than her sister Kara. When Krypton was about to be destroyed, Karyn’s parents put her and Kara into a rocket ship where they would be in suspended animation until they arrived on earth; they were supposed to find Kal and seek shelter on Earth as soon as they landed. They were unlucky though and got caught in the Phantom Zone, where they remained for twenty-five years before breaking free and finally landing on Earth, where they woke up to meet Superman for the first time. Karyn was furious to see someone wearing her family’s symbol and attempted to attack Superman, screaming at him in kryptonian. Clark, who knew very little kryptonian, struggled to explain what happened and, once he finally did, Karyn was horrified to learn that Kal had grown up without her and Kara. She refused to fully assimilate to human culture and asked that Kal find her and Kara someone to live with that they would not have to hide their identities from (as Karyn is only thirteen at the time); Clark decided his childhood best friend Lana Lang was the best choice and after she agreed, he approached Bruce for help in establishing fake identities for them as Karen and Kara Starr, Lana’s long lost nieces. Karyn was introduced to Dick Grayson (Robin) and Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) a few months after settling in. She helped form the original Teen Titans.
Wally West (Kid Flash) - Wally is the youngest child of Joe and Frankie West. He considers Barry Allen his older brother, since Barry always spent so much time at the West’s place. He found out Barry was the Flash when he was twelve (about three months after the new Flash first appeared) and demanded that Barry tell him everything! He foolishly decided to try and recreate the accident and was lucky to be chosen by the Speed Force as well. He was allowed to become Kid Flash when he was thirteen, with Joe and Frankie’s permission. He joined the Teen Titans a few weeks after his superhero debut.
Garth of Shayeris (Aqualad) - Garth is the only son of King Thar and Queen Berra of Shayeris and would have been the crown prince had his parents not been overthrown before he was born. His father was killed and his mother banished to Poseidonis, due to the actions of his uncle - a magician with malicious goals. He was born with violet eyes, which marked him with the potential to become a powerful magic-user in his own right. Unfortunately, magic-users had recently been made taboo within Poseidonis and Garth was cast out. He was found by Princess Mera of Xebel, Xebel being an pocket dimension found within the Bermuda Triangle. Mera convinced her parents to take him in. Xebel had no taboo against magic users which allowed Garth to grow up with no bigotry against him for his potential magical abilities, and Mera (a powerful sorceress in her own right) ended up being the own to train him when he expressed interest in the magical arts. Garth met Arthur Curry when he was ten and Arthur twenty, through the rebellion Xebel had joined to bring down King Orvax and later King Orm, and they quickly bonded. When Arthur later became Aquaman, he offered Garth the position of Aqualad. Garth was the second to last of the founders of the Teen Titans to join.
Roy Harper (Speedy/Red Arrow) - Roy Harper Jr never met his father, and his mother, a Navajo woman, died giving birth to him. Roy was raised by his uncle, Broken Bow, until shortly before his uncle’s death when he was twelve. Broken Bow had convinced Oliver Queen, newly recovered billionaire who had been missing for five years, to take Roy in. Because of Oliver’s relationship with Dinah Lance, a personal friend of both Batman and Wonder Woman, Roy was introduced to the other teen heroes when he was fifteen, as Speedy. He ends up becoming fast friends with them and was the last member of the team to join.
.

.
okay, guys that’s all for part one! part two will have at least three more teams (the new teen titans, young justice, and the justice league dark).

The Development of an Effective Brand Reputation Management Strategy
Reputations don't happen overnight, but they can change in an instant - particularly in this day and age. While traditional media, PR, and advertising have traditionally played a large role in shaping a brand's reputation, social media has changed the game entirely. A growing number of companies are investing in brand reputation management.
Describe the concept of Online Reputation Management.
Online reputation management (ORM) is the process by which companies attempt to control and improve how their brands are perceived by others. Companies can handle these efforts internally or hire an outside firm to help. The management of reputations is now playing a crucial role in company strategies, with studies showing three out of four consumers trust a company more if it has good reputations.
Furthermore, there are countless social media horror stories (which have cost companies their reputation and bottom line). Combined, these factors have transformed brand reputation management into a thriving industry.
A Model for Managing Your Brand's Reputation
According to Gini Dietrich's marketing and public relations blog Spin Sucks, the PESO model identifies the four types of media that help brands build identity and authority in today's digital landscape. There has been a surge of interest in the model in marketing and brand management. Not only does it show how each channel works independently, but it also shows how each channel works with other channels within the model.
Here's some additional information regarding the four types of media found in the PESO model.
Publications paid for by advertisers
Marketing that a company pays for is called paid media. This used to be only traditional media such as television, radio, and print, but nowadays it is mostly digital media such as PPC ads, social media ads, and search engine marketing (SEM).
Paid Media
Earned media is also known as publicity. These types of free media aren't paid for. Instead, their actions (whether good or bad) earn them this attention. It may take the form of news coverage or reporting, or the mention of and link to an online story.
Publications shared online
Content shared on social media is shared media. It is mostly user-generated content (UGC), such as images, videos, and text (such as reviews) attached to a company or its products that have been posted by other users on various online platforms. The term "shared media" also refers to content shared between multiple owners (e.g., co-branding).
In-house media
An owned media channel is any content controlled by a brand, such as a website, blog, or social network. An organization with more owned media channels will have a larger digital marketing footprint, which means more ability to reach and influence consumers.
Below is a PESO model that has become widely accepted by the brand management and marketing industry. In addition to showing how each channel operates individually, it also shows how they interact with other channels in the model.
It's Important to Manage Online Brand Reputation
It wasn't so long ago that people's opinions about a company generally had to travel by word of mouth (a conversation between people). Thanks to social media, opinions travel faster than ever before, and get to a wider audience. A brand can benefit from positive messages, but a negative one can be a PR nightmare. Due to people's freedom to post anything they want, companies can lose control of their brand's reputation.
By creating content and building domain names, you can improve your reputation on search engines like Google and Yahoo. Social media, however, is uncontrollable," said Juda Engelmayer, president and partner at HeraldPR, a full-service public relations and communications agency based in New York. "People can tweet whatever they want, or they can post something negative on Facebook or Yelp. Such a change can have a profound effect on search engines."
In contrast to its Google search ranking, a company cannot control individuals who post negative comments about its brand on social media. This is why online reputation management is vital; studies indicate that 54% of digital marketers consider ORM “very necessary” for their success.
ORM is not only about monitoring social media. It's also about developing an engagement strategy for customers, how to inspire conversation around your brand, how you will position your brand online, and what content you will create to attract customers.
Ten Online Reputation Management Best Practices
Neil Patel, entrepreneur, web influencer, and New York Times bestselling author, is at the top of the chart when it comes to understanding digital marketing. We have compiled a list of ten commandments he created for Online Reputation Management services in Canada.
1. Have a good reputation
Trust is a perishable asset that is hard to acquire. For this to happen, you should be able to create an emotional connection with your business by providing valuable content and knowledge for free.
2. Be radical in transparency
Transparency means allowing employees to talk about products and services publicly, honestly answering customer questions, asking for customer feedback, and not hiding criticism – but addressing it publicly.
3. Keep an eye on what they are saying about you
In addition to letting you know when your brand has been mentioned, and allowing you to respond if the comment is negative, the alerts can also generate business. People today often ask you questions on social media before making a buying decision. There's no better time than that to jump in with your solutions.
4. Respond promptly and politely
Complaints can be handled easily in some cases. Others may require more thought and research. Regardless, you should respond quickly. We are working on the problem and will contact you as soon as we can." is better than a late response that offers more information.
5. Dealing with criticism
You are bound to receive criticism when you put yourself on social media. But how you handle it will determine your brand reputation. The Startup illustrates five ways to deal with negative comments.
Be humble and make fun of yourself
Refuting the criticism in a playful way (the customer is wrong, so you'll want to refute it - but lightheartedly so that you don't enrage them more)
Excessively gracious (this encourages people to feel heard, rendering them ineffective if they are trolling)
Keeping a positive attitude about the situation (as long as you offer a solution),
Admit your mistake, apologize, and offer your solution (probably safest).
It will depend on the situation, of course, so check out their blog.
6. Use your Google Page 1 like a business card
There is a tendency for people to judge a book by its cover. The page one of a search for your brand can be severely damaged by negative reviews and words such as "scam" or "rip off" (more about this in a bit).
7. Learn to understand your detractors
Even when consumers criticize, it is a chance for consumers to learn. You may be able to refine your marketing messages, alter your manufacturing processes, and more by listening to your detractors. Such actions can help you to build your brand and profit.
8. Counter-attack your illegitimate attackers
The right to free speech online certainly exists, but defamatory language, false information, and threatening language can sometimes be taken too far. You may want to seek legal counsel and conduct a cyber investigation in these cases.
9. Acknowledge and Correct Your Mistakes
Taking your mistakes as stepping stones to learning will help you avoid repeating them in the future. For example, some companies simply hand off social media duties to a young intern (after all, they’ll understand this stuff). Throughout the years, this has led to many social media gaffes. Afterwards, the company is forced to spend time and money on damage control. It's a wise decision to hire a social media expert who understands your brand!
10. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance if needed
You can request help from a top ORM company in Canada to maintain possitive reputation,  if your efforts are not sufficient to protect or restore your brand image.

It can likewise raise other online content higher to uproot undesirable material. Once effectively established, the results must be sustained. Otherwise, the undesirable material may reemerge at the highest point of Google search results for the most part inside three to a half year. New content doesn't naturally show up at the highest point of indexed lists. The key test of ORM is to make content that search engines will rank profoundly. That includes a comprehension of search engine algorithms just as, progressively, the capacity to make excellent content.
Online reputation management is vital in light of the fact that anyone can say anything online anonymously, acting as a specialist or as another person. As referenced previously, bots also persistently find and distribute any information they situate from open records found on the Web.

LinkedIn and Google+ profiles are among the basic ORM tools to build such an image. Blogs, Tumblr locales, and Instagram are additionally valuable tools if your content is high-quality. If not, they won't be an asset for your image, online or off.
