like the whole point of his character arc and heartstopper was that coming out should be on your own terms, in your own time. it's fucking disgusting that he was pressured into doing this to stop the queerbaiting accusations because he was holding hands with a co-star. he's a kid. he's literally eighteen.

this show n the comics meant so much to me as someone who sees a lot of themself in the cast and it's awful that the fanbase is this toxic. it's unacceptable that an eighteen year old was harassed into outing himself.
