What a lot of people who shrug at the blue sky discourse and call it "overdramatic" don't realize, is that the background and it's colors are essential to setting a mood. A gloomy scene is conveyed through dark skies and clouds, while a happy scene is conveyed through sunshine and brightness. We are currently in MHA's final arc which happens to be war arc.It is genuinely not that hard to put in some extra effort to have the background match the mood.

Bones is very much capable of changing the background depending on the mood so seeing the absolute lack of effort when it comes to Mha ,one of their biggest animes this past decade, is simply disappointing as hell.

I've seen a lot of people asking why Ryuuji looks odd in the new animation, and it seems to be three things to me. (I could point out a lot, but I stare at him too much and notice too many details xD ) I drew him in the more traditional manga style and got as close to the pose as I could.

Jaw line. He's got a lot more triangular of one than he usually has. They've given him a thin beard too, which I'm grouping with that.

2. Eyebrows. BIG CHANGE. They've given him more typical eyebrows instead of his curvier and thinner eyebrows. Makes everything look a bit strange, and throws the fact that his eyes aren't as triangular as usual into bigger light. It also throws off the shape of his upper face a bit from the standard manga. (the curve of his eye for example, it's never that pronounced in the manga.)

3. His hair is shorter. It's cropped closer, so it makes his face shape more obvious?

Basically, he's shaved and trying a new thing with his hair and eyebrows. Maybe he borrowed some make up from Izumo make them a shape he likes, lol. Go off and figure out some fun reasons for it.

They're not really big changes, and I think it's just a bit different of a shape that they're going with, and the few glimpses we've caught of the new series has me entirely excited, whether I've got to adjust to some new proportions or not.

Definitely felt like an interlude episode and a turning point for sei and Albert and the story as a whole. Their feelings are surely going to come to a head soon now that nobles are vying for Sei’s hand in marriage and getting restless. I love how Johann and Albert’s brother were respectful of Albert and Sei’s feelings and refused to get involved in it lol.

I think Johan’s little hint will have got the gears spinning in Sei’s head and things will get going soon. Love how that scene looked too, reminded me of the click bait opening of this season with all the action lol.
