Skyward Sword

✯has the biggest crush on his Zelda bc they're so close

✯like it's VERY obvious how they feel about eachother

✯His fav flavour of ice cream is Oreo ice cream but he also loves toffee and vanilla too

✯He can talk but he prefers sign language (dialect of sign language may vary on preference ((like ASL or BSL or LSE, ect)) ) and talks to save time in an emergency in case the other person may not know sign, but DOES sign if they do

For this one, I thought about the cutscenes where he's explaining something (like the current location or condition of Zelda) to another character and we can see his mouth moving.

ohh it’s the silly. it’s him. skyward sword link!! sorry about the quality loves tumblr mobile decided it didn't want to work D: all these redesigns are kind of how id imagine they’d look post game! so. this is how i pictured him :D out of all the redesigns, i feel like he’s my least fav because i feel like i could’ve done more… but anyways! his white shirt’s now green, and i brought a lot more red into his outfit!! + the loftwing feather earring :D

oot/mm link! i love his design… i based the outfit on the skull kid’s, cause like. aren’t the kokiri gonna be limited to the same resources as skull kids? the under outfit tho.. link got in hyrule!! eye scar is based on the fact that the hero’s shade only has one eye lit and lu time. i just think that’s neat.

WIND WAKER SLASH PHANTOM HOURGLASS LINK!!! i love this boy to pieces. he’s so silly. his outfit’s p much the same from when we first meet him, but i like to think instead of the wack ass kokiri outfit, grandma gave him the little scarf-wrap-thing.. off-color cause like.. it’s been 100 years, yk? details fade… the vest color was a last minute decision; i set the base layer for every color as this bright blue and i got so used to it that i completely forgot i didnt color his vest! so… it’s blue!

last but CERTAINLY not least we got tp link! his entire outfit was just based on “how can combine his ordon village outfit w his normal one” and so. this was born. honestly i love it. it slays. more protection, more connections w his home, serves cunt, etc. only change i’d make now (i designed these a while ago) is he should be hairier. he’s a wolf ! he should be giving more “wolf…” blah. Anyways.

A drawing I made for my fav Zelda game ever, since I’ve officially been a fan of the game for a decade now, I’M SO OLD!!!

This game has done so much for me and really helped open up my eyes and really showed me how powerful storytelling really is. This game got me to take my OCs and writing more seriously with its engaging story and fun cast of characters, and it has influenced me immensely art wise! I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without this game and there are tons of awesome friends I made because of this game that I wouldn’t have ever met without it!

Thank you for everything Wind Waker! You’ll always be one of my fav games of all time!!!

I don't really get into ships so to speak. but I DO like ships. so allow me to be a rascal here and misinterpret this question :3 off the top of my head- The King of Red Lions from Wind Waker, Kapp'n's boat from Animal Crossing GC, and of course, Saira's UFO from Saira (it's got radio!!! and pinball!!)

First ship: Now that'd have to be the beauty that is The Flutter from Megaman Legends. Oh how I wanted to take her for a spin as a kid. Still do. Look at her.... Fishe.

Last Song: 2D or not 2D has been back on my mind the past few days for some reason. Sometimes one simply must return to one of the greatest music videos of all time I suppose. (Forever thinking of you, skeleton saying Oh Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet)

Last Film: ...if concert dvds count, then Susumu Hirasawa's The 9th Mandala....if not. I genuinely don't remember haha. Have found it hard to sit down for a whole film as of late. Currently Reading: Regrettably, nothing...I keep meaning to pick up Blame! though. Swear I will get to it eventually Currently Craving: Honestly? Can't think of anything. If I can expand the scope past food and drink then I really want to get some hairspray and try to make my hair defy gravity like a Visual Kei dude. Just to know if it's possible. I feel like I just have too much length but those guys do it somehow right?.. WAIT hold that thought actually I also want a hot doughnut. have not had a hot doughnut in a hot minute. Okay, like, Matt’s been in AH videos BEFORE he was even hired. Wasn’t the first Minecraft we saw him in Griffball? And everyone in AH immediately liked him bc he smacked Gavin? Like, we as a community knew axialmatt, and were excited when the guys played one of his maps! And then he and Jeremy (AH fan artist AND fan fiction extraordinaire) get hired to do their DREAM job! And I hate to say a good chunk of the community took a LONG time to warm up to them (especially Matt, but Ray leaving soon after they were hired I think really threw a wrench in things too), but eventually they got comfortable and clicked into their places in AH, and it was like they were there the whole time!

And especially recently, Matt specifically has been KILLING it! He’s so creative, and funny, and his humor is sarcastic and dry, but he’s GENUINELY so kind, you can just tell. Like, this sucks, everyone’s pissed, WB are burning their company to the ground and idk if RT has any way of getting out of there, but they really need to, bc this is only the beginning.

Challenge Accepted and the Randomizers are, imo, the best content in AH right now. I even watched the Raft series, even though I have no interest in that game, bc Matt kept me there! Shark mage was the best! I love the rest of the cast, I really do, but at this point in AH’s life, Matt and Michael are def my fav members. It just sucks, I’m taking it better than when Ray left (I was a damn mess through that;;), but maybe that’s bc he’s still PT? We’ll see how long that lasts, I’ve really been enjoying seeing him in Chilled’s Among Us lobbys, and if he had more time to devote to streaming, he’ll prob hang out with that crowd more, which would be awesome tbh.

Does anyone know if he has a YT VOD channel? I have a thing, I don’t know why, but I don’t like watching livestreams. They make me anxious for whatever reason;; So VODs are a lifesaver for me, so please let me know if you know! 🧡

And yeah, that’s my jumbled thoughts on the matter. WB is ruining RTAH, and it sucks to see, and I really, really, really hope they SOMEHOW get out of that company. Easier said than done, I know, but it just sucks to have had to see all of the obvious change they’ve had to go through since they were put under them, and are still going through. AH cast and content used to be so colorful and bright and happy, but as much as I enjoy how they’ve matured, and still have fun together, the contrast from the past, more care-free AH is drastic. The past however many years, it’s just noticeable how dark their spaces have been, like, it’s kind of dreary looking at them compared to, let’s say, their tiny OG office. Like, that room was always so full of life! And their past few spaces have just been… sad looking.. and also, they’re not quiet about scheduling. Matt and Michael talked about how Sarah had been breathing down their necks for like, half the Wind Waker randomizers bc they were taking too long, and every time they brought it up it bummed because out, bc I HATE they’re being rushed to make content! Idk who thought a Zelda randomizer was going to be less than like, 8 episodes anyway! But that just suggests to me they’re not enjoying playing the game as much as they could be, bc they’re being bitched at about it behind the scenes. Plus other random, too-businesslike things I smell just bc I’m an employee of a big business, and like, I can TELL they don’t have as much freedom as they should have, and it sucks.

like, I really don’t like getting into the “AH was better when it was just the OG cast 😤”, because those people annoy me (I don’t know why they just don’t stop watching if they just complain every video how they hate current AH? But that’s a can of worms I don’t want to open), BUT I do hate what big business has been doing to them, I hope Matt settles into the path that is right for him, the AH members someday gain their freedom back, and WB burns in hell. It’s 3:30am, I got a bit off track with this post, goodnight.

Edit:

After seeing more information come out, Big Yikes, looks like RT has been shitty even before WB sunk their claws in. I know back in 2013 they would make shitty, offensive jokes and call people babies for being upset when they were called out on them, but as I said before, one of the biggest things I’m thankful for is the vast majority of them [AH] have matured, and realized slurs aren’t funny. The community still, for the most part, gets on my nerves for MANY reasons, but I never get too into any kind of community anyway (so I can actually enjoy the media I’m consuming). All that being said, this looks like the beginning of a real big garbage fire, and I just hope all the good RT/AH people find their way to a happier life, and all the shitty assholes get what’s coming to them.

My Fav Zelda Games Ranked

1. Twilight Princess (nostalgia plays a big part for this one. sometimes I wish it wasn’t the first one I played so I’d be able to tell if it takes this spot cause of nostalgia or because it actually deserves it)

2. Majora’s Mask

3. Link Between Worlds

4. Skyward Sword (had a blast with it, just disliked how it all felt foreordained and like it wasn’t your choice it was meant to happen, as well as the time shenanigans at the end)

5. Spirit Tracks (the music. And ZELDA gosh my second fav after Tetra)

6. Minish Cap (I think me having fun with my brother with this one helped get this one higher on the list)

7. Wind Waker

8. Ocarina of Time (I feel like this one is only higher cause it was a good set-up for MM, which was amazing)

9. Age of Calamity

10. Phantom Hourglass (the characters were so good in this one. XD)

11. Hyrule Warriors

12. Breath of the Wild (love the characters and the story and the world building, don’t like several gameplay things and that the story has you so stuck in the past. so they even out enough to leave it middle of the road for me.)

13. Link’s Awakening

14. Four Swords (this one was more fun as a multiplayer thing)

15. Four Swords Adventures (this one had a better story, but the multiplayer wasn’t quite as favorable and the story was still kinda weak, so it’s just a bit lower)

17. Adventure of Link (all of these were fun, and honestly I still like all of them, but these earlier games were lacking a bit. but I really appreciate them for helping pave the way to the great games we have now.)

18. Oracle of Seasons

19. A Link to the Past (the walk of shame. And just how difficult it was. Only reason it’s spiritual successor got so high was cause I loved the puzzles XD)

20. The Legend of Zelda main games are done, I might go through the side ones someday (like the CDi and Tingle games) but I’m not super interested in them (tbh they look dumb) so for now this list is done. Although I may still come back and change it sometimes, if I find myself starting to appreciate one more than I get before etc.

Anon this is such a loaded question you have no idea <\3 I love the zelda series so much and I've played it for so long that my favourites all kind of blur together. I was thinking I could tell you what my favourite aspects of my top 5 games are though lol? I would love to write a cited essay for you but I am basically illiterate hehe

Anyway so because I can't pick one here are five

Minish cap:

for a long time I said minish cap was my #1 favourite game! I love that it's a Gameboy game with that early 2000's pixel graphics it's so cute <3 and I loved the gameplay of big/small (it has that classic overworld/underworld Zelda feel) along with collecting the kinstones, it was so charming. I'm always really obnoxious about it on Tumblr because I think it's massively underrated and more people should play it! Also ezlo is a good companion and he reminds me the most of Midna!!

Twilight princess:

um is this not every single persons guilty pleasure game ?? It's so good. It's just. So good. People call it edgy and trying too hard to be Majora's mask but at the end of the day it was a solid and fun Zelda game that I love so much !! How can you not love turning into a wolf. How can you not love midna. I think it has a great plot twist and some of the mechanisms were really fun. The fact that you can hold cats is a huge highlight for me as well. Also I think I should mention that I don't ship anything in loz it's not that kind of fandom for me but I do enjoy a little midzel....as a treat

A Link Between World's:

i LOVE this game !!!!!! It was a breath of fresh air while also being a sequel to alttp? Botw 2 could never (we'll see).. I think albw brought back that classic loz feel while still being its own unique game! I thought ravio and Hilda were so loveable and they deserve so much more attention then they get. This while game in general deserved a lot more love. It's a favourite for me because the wall puzzles were so simple and clever n just so much fun!!!! I think I could write an entire essay about albw if I wanted to there's so much to commend!!

Skyward sword:

ok I know I said twilight princess was my guilty pleasure favourite but skyward sword is ALSO that. I'm replaying it atm and when the music started playing I teared up it's such an emotional game for me. The fact that it came out almost a decade ago?? Insane. I used to watch skyward sword zelink AMVs in 2011 so this game is crazy nostalgic for me lmao. I know people have a problem with the gameplay but I just think once you get over it it's such a fun and rewarding game? The plot is my favourite of all zelda games. I enjoyed actually having a relationship with zelda, it made me more motivated to play through the game because I wanted to save her <3 also it's low-key my favourite soundtrack (tied w wind waker) so like to all the people who don't like skyward sword- it's a good game i swear you just have to open your heart to it

Wind waker:

OBVIOUSLY wind waker is on this list it's a MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!! The MUSIC the ART STYLE the CHARACTERS !!!!!!!!!!! Anyone here give me one good reason why you don't like ww I dare you. Wind waker is the most fufilling and beautiful games I've ever played. It's beautiful it's gorgeous it's wonderful. Tetra is such a delight and ganondorf actually has a backstory and good dialogue!!! AMAZING!!!!!!! a really strong plot and interesting underworld/overworld dynamic. I love wind waker omg

Majora's Mask:

So I had to pick between Majora's and ocarina and honestly I think I do like mm more? I've only ever played it all the way through twice but I love how the whole game is dependant on how you interact with the side quests. Both times I played I made sure to get every mask because to me it just feels so fufilling to know I am getting the most out of the story. And like for every edgy game that has ever come out...mm did it first. It was creepy it was anxiety inducing but it did it so well. It didn't feel forced at all and I think it's my favourite game I've ever played that has a time dynamic to it. It feels so good to watch the credits of Majora's mask and see everyone be happy! Its a lot more unconventional hero in Majora's mask because I don't feel good for defeating majora I feel good for helping all these characters who I got to know. It's a good game I think everyone should try playing it but I can acknowledge it's not everyone's cup of tea

Anyway that was definitely six not five but I couldn't leave any of them out they're all so important to me !! I've played a myriad of other zelda games that didn't make the cut but trust me I also love them. I'm sorry this is the worst answer to your very specific question haha but hopefully it's not too boring. Feel free to tell me what your favourite game(s) is I'd love to hear. If ppl make it to the end of this you should reply with ur fave game and why! I'd love to read them :)

Oh boy here we go

I've played every one except Zelda, Zelda 2, A Link To The Past, Oracle of Seasons & Ages and sort of Wind Waker

Phantom Hourglass was my first Zelda game

It's so hard to choose which one is my favorite honestly. But...

I have a huge soft spot for Phantom Hourglass. I genuinely love the story, gameplay, characters, design, concepts. I feel as if it's also heavily over hated, it's a great game and I just love it so much. Also. It produced the best character/companion in the history of Zelda who we all know it's Linebeck (yes I will fight anyone who claims otherwise)

I cannot put into words how much I also love Minish Cap. It's also severely underrated (but I think that's bc of the console it was released on). But let me tell you, Minish Cap gets SO MANY THINGS right. The aesthetic, the concept, the level design, the Overworld design, the bosses, the items, the story. Gah there's something so uniquely special about Minish Cap and I adore it.

Link Between Worlds. That game is SO GOOD. I love the world and temples and story and characters (though I will say the characters were it's weakest point-- the most character we got other than the main ones was Irene and I love her). It also utilizes it's 'gimmick' very well. And HOLY SHIT. THE OST. Hands down one of the best osts in any video game

(but needless to say, any Zelda ost is PHENOMENAL.)

Call me a basic bitch but I also love Ocarina of Time. Aside from being REVOLUTIONARY in the video game industry, it's VERY solid and deserves all the praise it gets. I'm not kidding. The storyline is very well made, the design is very pleasing, the temples are jaw dropping amazing, and again, the concept? Stunning. I think Ocarina of Time has THE BEST Temple music in any Zelda game overall. The Vibes in each temple are SPOT. ON.

(a small interlude so that I can say that I LOVE the Vibes in Majora's Mask also. Very pleasing color palette also)

And finally!! Breath of the Wild. I cannot stress just how BREATHTAKING this game is. Story, temple, world, this game has got it all. Breath of the Wild isn't a game, it's ART. And I have so many fond memories of it.

(one last shoutout to Skyward Sword, a game that is so beautiful that I might cry just thinking about it. Skyward Sword is very dear to me and deserves so much more praise in general. The gameplay, story, design, and characters are AMAZING okay!! In this household we love and respect Skyward Sword!!!!)

Lastly!! My favorite character from The Legend of Zelda is Link in general. I have several favorites that are more game-specific, but Link is the overall favorite.

I am gonna say it- Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is NOT a fun game...comparatively.

What made zelda great?

Puzzles. Tools. Going back to areas. Challenging bosses. Limited healing. Story.

What did this one add?

Open world. Unlimited healing (basically). and saving anywhere (almost. Those are the ONLY upgrades.) The rest? EXPLORE EVERY INCH FOR ANY GOD DAMN COLLECTIBLE! Nothing story wise. Same story, retold, like every game. New elements, same results.

Now I ain’t looking for a linear game, but the fact is

a-they gave you all your important powers at the beginning of the game. 2 of which are just the same thing, different bomb (WHOA! Mind blown!)

c-your horses, if in a different area, tell you to fuck off (or you’re climbing 1/2 the time), so you’re running solo most of it. I hated that in red dead redemption 2. I came to play a game, not run miles to get to where I wanna be. I can do that in real life. It’s called do not take the fucking car. I’d prefer the fucking car.

d-STAMINA! I like zelda cuz it was NOT like most RPGs. Now they are desperate to catch up and be like everything else. And you need stamina to climb, to glide, to run, but not swing? Wha....

e-WEAPONS BREAK!? And can not really be bought. Only looted. So, worse case scenario, you’re using your weak ass bombs (even when upgraded) or you got to destroy a tree for a BRANCH cuz LINK DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO FIST FIGHT! Even tho all the enemies do. Even kick. GREAT logic.

f-your main menu book thing is a tablet. Pathetic. Medieval times, with a tablet. and do not mention the stupid fucking robots. A tablet and robots, but they haven’t figured out ANY other tech? Jesus christ.

g-You get ALL your important powers/tech/gear at the beginning. NO hookshot. Still haven’t used a boomerang right. And anything SIMILAR to your old gear-they are weapons, and they break. You get a few uses, then gone.

f-collect millions of resources....create a fire, huge healing elixirs, upgrade your clothes, but FUCK YOU if you wanna build your own arrows.

h-many puzzles require certain weapons. being weapons break, it means you can not beat certain puzzles/areas till you GO BACK and find a specific weapon (aka, stasis-you freeze something, and depending on WHAT you hit it with determines how far it goes. You don’t have a hammer? Enjoy coming back to this area when you do, mofo.) That is NOT a puzzle. Cuz if I hadn’t looked up online what to do, I would have went thru all my weapons to beat one puzzle. <it was hit with a hammer 5 times, sword once. Who has the weapons to test that out!?>

i-when opening a chest, finishing a puzzle, or killing an enemy, anything dropped can easily slip away on a slant, disappear, EVEN IMPORTANT ITEMS LIKE CORES, and never be seen again.

Seriously, ALL you had to do was make a GTA zelda game, and that’s it.

Instead, you made dark souls meets zelda meets minecraft, lost all the fun gear, and still somehow made the same fucking game, bigger, but worse.

6.4/10.

fav part? gliding. Only cuz it gets you there quicker.

ps-I do not want any nintendo corporate zelda dick sucking bitches responding. I have played and beaten nearly EVERY single one (not counting gameboy games) and this is the first I went ‘what the fuck is this!?’ I EVEN LIKED WIND WAKER! thought it was a breath of fresh air. THIS? This is trying to be big, bad, and like everyone else, and losing their fucking soul in the process.

Alright, a quick rating of the Zelda titles:

The Legend of Zelda (NES) I actually only played this game when I was 15, because we didn’t had it on our original NES, then sold it and only got the game when we bought a used NES. For such an old game, it holds up pretty well. It is fun to play, but it has some hiccups, like totally random bombable walls in the overworld. I was lucky to have found an old map from some 1989 Nintendo magazine. I rate this game as a solid 7/10. Adventure of Link (NES) Ah, the black sheep. For some reason, they thought they needed to make this game into a sidescroller which were pretty popular at the time, but imo took away from the Zelda experience. It also is hard, super hard, one of the games that named the trope “nintendo hard”. I actually never made it past the second boss. So I never played through the game, but watched others play. I think they shouldn’t have changed the formula so much after only one game, but it isn’t a bad game per se, just one that doesn’t fit. I give it a 5/10. A Link to the Past (SNES) Now that game took everything the original had and made it BETTER. The overworld is huge, the music is stellar, the game even tells a story, a bit hidden, but it is there, it established quite a few staples in the series like the heart pieces and some leitmotifs like Zelda’s lullaby and Hyrule Castle theme. And then the game takes its huge world and makes it in a dark mirror, now that was amazing! The only criticism I have? The Dark World dungeons are too similar, but other than that: 10/10

Link’s Awakening (GB/GBC) Ok, this game was my first Zelda, so it gets the nostalgia bonus. I ADORE this game. Now that I am older, it is obvious, that the game started as fangame, but whatever. It works super well with the tiny console it came out on (the Game Boy), is super fun, has well thought out dungeons which revolve around a theme and also adds two new more staples in Zelda games: The quirky characters and the creepy undertones. LA has a really big twist in the second half and it is kind of depressing when you know it, but I love that scene and the music that plays in it. That game was surprisingly mature for it’s cute limited style. It also gave us the ballad of the windfish, though... In my heart it gets a 11/10, but objectively it gets an 8/10. Ocarina of Time (N64) Ehhhh... Nah, it isn’t the best Zelda ever. I liked the game, but even at age 11 it felt just like A Link to the Past in 3D, even less, because OoT is very linear. LA was linear too, but it had the game boy excuse. What I like about OoT is the focus on more story, the races of Hyrule are more in the focus and the music is gorgeous, as well as the jump in 3D was well done, but I wished they hadn’t given Link the autojump. Ugh. It’s a solid title, 7/10. Majora’s Mask (N64) Now hold my beer, that game looks so stressful, but it is GOOD. Seriously, this game is amazing. It takes a timed countdown and makes it WORK! It isn’t just a reskin of OoT, because of a lot of clever new mechanics, the transformation masks. The story is a bit weird and also dark. Jeez, this game is the darkest Zelda game ever, but wow, it’s also deep as hell. Music? FANTASTIC! Actually my fav score from all the games. Majora’s Mask earns a 10/10. Wind Waker (Game Cube) Adorable, cute, has some really cool twists, music is fantastic, art style is timeless and the sailing wasn’t boring! Like Majora’s Mask, that game lives a lot of sidequests, but I really liked it and I liked the slow reveal of just what the world of WW is. I loved it on the Game Cube and even though I only played through it in like 2014 (because I deleted my save game and started over, wtf?), I think this is one amazing title. It get’s a 10/10. Because I loved the sailing. Twilight Princess (GC/Wii) Well, that game just screams OoT at me at every single moment. I still love it. I played it after I had a a bit of a fallout with single player games and went raiding in WoW for a year straight. Going back to just being single player was amazing. Ok, the wii mote was a bit meh, but the game was good. I liked Wolf Link and Midna and the Twilight Realm and all the references. I felt at home and liked to see a more mature approach at the story, even though this game isn’t as dark as MM, it still counts to the darker ones. But I don’t like every little thing about it... I give it a 8/10 though. Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons (GBC) Yeah, they are weird. Yes, I love them nonetheless. Music is a disappointment though, but love the idea, characters and dungeons as well as some of the new items. 7/10 for both. Phantom Hourglass (DS) Oh, come on, the game isn’t that bad, but I admit, the phantom hourglass temple was uuuugh. 6/10 and one point is for Linebeck alone. Spirit Tracks (DS) Now that is what Phantom Hourglass should have been! A clever story, a nice inclusion of Zelda, the touch screen controls work well, the train is HELLA fun, tons of sidestuff to do, stellar OST, really fun villain. This games works and it works well. 9/10, just because the pan flute was awful and I got dizzy by all that blowing. Skyward Sword (Wii) Master, your batteries are low. Shut up, Phai! I want to like this game, I really want, but, but... I had to recalibrate my Wiimote every 20 minutes! The motion controls made the game unneccesarry clunky and Phai is the most annoying sidekick of all time. The story was cool though, I loved learning how the master sword came to be and it had some really clever dungeon ideas, like the time based ones. Also, Ghirahim as well as Ballad of the Goddess. I give it a 5/10 though, because of the damn motion controls! A Link between Worlds (3DS) It is AlttP with a twist. A good twist. It used the 3D effect of the 3DS and played with 2D and 3D perspective for puzzles. It took the story of ALttP and made it good. It made the OST better. the dungeons were short enough to be played in a short session, good for a handheld fixed the same looking dungeons. 11/10, really, that game ist fantastic BotW (Switch/Wii U) I had some troubles with the game at first, but then? I started to adore it. The world is HUGE, like, never ever have we seen such a huge world, oof. And there is actually stuff to do. Shrines to find, Koroks to find, monster camps, animals to hunt, unfixed events! The game is super non linear and it’s amazing! It is a whole new look on Hyrule and on the formula and it works. It has a few annoying things (climbing in rain, weapons breaking, some foes overpowered), but it is super fun and I want the second installment now. 9/10

hmmm....that’s hard. im stuck between gamecube, nintendo64, ps2, and wii. all bcus of nostalgic reasons, but im gonna go forward and say gamecube.

gamecube had animal crossing for me, which was one of the first games that i played for over a year, one that i would strive to MAKE time for especially when getting ready for school, just to hear that sweet sweet 7AM and 8AM osts.....god those two songs are so fucking good,,,

and fuck, wind waker. god, wind waker. wind waker was the second LoZ game i ever beat, first being Twilight Princess just because i didnt...want WW to end. i still replay that game often and BOTW only SLIGHTLY beats WW for my favorite LoZ game. very, very close. wind waker just has a beautiful fun art style, i love the music, the characters....i just. i really love that game.

gamecube also held warioware and smash melee both of which i played ALL THE TIME with my brothers. i have a lot of good memories with those games.

So... as promised in this post, I’m doing 50 facts about me because 50?! people followed me and my crazy masa obsessed cat mom ass. Thanks for enjoying my messed up commentary/rambles! Great, now I’m starting to sound like a youtuber that just wants money lmao sorry. Enough mushy stuff, and onto ze list!

Possible trigger warning: I’ll try to keep this as positive as I can, but there may be some things that can trigger some people (including but not limited to mental health, abuse/bullying, eating disorders etc.) If you are not comfortable with those topics, don’t read this.

1. My real name is Robin (middle name starts with Y and my last name starts with G)

2. I live in AZ

3. I LOVE FOOD. Part of the reason why I love masa and luka tbh... But seriously, food is great.

4. My fav foods are crab, ham, and burgers. See why I can’t become vegetarian 😂

5. I HATE onions with a passion.

6. My fav animals are owls, cats, hedgehogs, snakes, and whale sharks.

7. I have two dogs and used to have a cat (extremely long story short: My cat is in the “care” of an abusive psycho that isn’t allowed near me so I can’t see her ever again :/ but my sisters can) I still love Lucky (my cat) to death. She’s a sweet kitty (most of the time) and I miss her so much ❤️

8. My dogs are named Tucker and Bella. They’re both miniature schnauzers and they’re crazy. Tucker is a sweetheart, but he DOESNT. STOP. BARKING. He has a bit of a jealousy issue. When Bella gets attention, he starts barking and/or pushes her away from the human 😂 He hates when his people hug. He will jump on them and bark and growl. He also has stuffed animals that he LOVES. He uses them as pillows and carries them around. Bella is a lazy piggy ass. All she does is sleep and eat (like me haha). Half the time she’s too lazy to get up and go outside, and only responds when there’s food (once again, just like me 😅) They absolutely love each other though. Tucker licks her and grooms her and Bella follows him around and it’s just the cutest thing.

9. My lucky number is 9 because my birthday is 9/29 and my adoption day is 9/9 (see what I did there hehe get it? fact 9 is about my lucky number 9? no? okay...)

10. I’m adopted from an orphanage in (Eastern?) China

11. I have 2 sisters. They’re both in college but everyone who sees us on the street thinks I’m the oldest because I’m taller and curvier. One is 21 (but everyone thinks she’s like 16) and the other is 19 (people think she’s like 10 😂) No, none of us are blood related.

12. I’m 5’ nothing...

13. I’ve always been heavy for my height and age. I was and still am judged because of how much I eat and weigh. Because of this, I had an eating disorder in 4th grade and have always hated myself and envied my sisters for their tiny asian bodies.

14. I used to do tennis, dance, and swimming. I haven’t done any sports since then.

15. I can play 3 instruments, and tried many others. I played piano for 10 years, violin for 2, and French horn for 6 months.

I didn’t have my DS for a long time. She would give it back after a while, and ID GO ONTO THE INTERNET AND YOUTUBE EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I got my DS back on Christmas in 7th grade coz I got games for it and she trusted me enough (and I had a phone by then so yay trust...?)

27. ...the twitter accounts still exist... I’ve looked back at them and I wanna kms holy crap it was bad. Lesson: 10 year olds shouldn’t be on twitter.

28. I love Harry Potter and The Inheritance Cycle (Eragon series). My fav HP book is Order of the Phoenix, and my fav IC book is Eldest.

29. My fav Zelda is a tie between Skyward Sword and Wind Waker

31. We used to have so many games and systems. We had like 100-200 games, 2 gamecubes, 3 GBA’s, 4 DS’, 2 wii’s, and prob more 😂 We got only $150 from gamestop.
