"Some background:

Two species of humanoid now inhabit the same planet. One from another dead planet and seeking refuge and a new place to live (the humans). This was met with hostility from the original habitants (the larger one). A war broke out for 10 years, for the humans to come on top in the end. The larger species are now used as a sort of work horse in most cases. Some manual labor, others protecting the area and hunting, etc. there are still Nobels and high ups in politics but the less well-off tend to be put to difficult work and conditions. Even though the humans have the tech to make it easier, just don’t want to waste resources.  It’s a political way to keep them down, busy and obedient basically. 🙃

The yellow eyes had noticed him, turning to him with their round core - it shimmers like opal, he thought in a sudden awe, forgetting the fear, forgetting the unnatural nature of it all, like the iridescence of a pearl - as the flame within burned as purple as the deadliest venoms.

"Ah," the flat mouth (which had appeared sewn shut by large black threads at a first glance) only exclaimed, with a sound so melodious and thinly ethereal it nearly hypnotized him on the spot. A pale, blueish hand rose to cover the lack of lips, almost ashamed, as it sang: "I apologize..."

Human-like limbs, much more solid, more real than the bulbous flaming head, moved clumsily to retreat from whence they had come, to hide behind the cavern wall. The long dark coat flowed strangely in the air.

"I've wandered too far down this side of the mountain, it seems..." the beautiful voice sang again.

Melli watched powerless, immoble, as the peculiar thing stumbled away - footing unstable like that of a newborn Stantler - until the light of its fire disappeared down rocky corridors, and the footsteps of its strange black shoes grew faint enough to disappear.

I think she will either be an insect eldritch horror or a literal insect GODDESS! They have been going the 'babe hunter' route for a bit now so they are either going to take a HARD LEFT TURN again or just keep trucking forward LOL But it likely boils down to how Alice is going to see her, and Alice been having that 'babe-ification' sight. A running reputation of seeing peeps BEAUTIFUL LOOOOOOOOOOL So I will be shocked if she is an eldritch horror honestly, but I won't mind either way~ I am excited and GAME ON for either LOL

I think she might be ranged like Norton cause both of their survivor modes have that capability of 'range', Melly more so~ So I think she might do chip damage all over the place and 'harass' and contain ((just like her survivor self) (cause Norton-Fool's Gold is the same, he harasses big time)). I wonder if she could send out groups of insects or hives around the map and have potential to keep people off of ciphers for select amounts of time. Or just bring survivors to her, or mucking up vaulting areas that slow survivors down 👀 The creators have access to the entire story of a character so I imagine they are gonna 180 us in some way LOL

My thought process is obviously inspired with how they handled Norton. They seemed to have went with what Norton 'wants' and that is to finally let loose and release (I think). Cause he is just blowing shiz up, throwing everything, and flying across the map. Then laughing, grinning, and humming while doing so LOL bro having the time of his life compared to his survivor self where he is just MASKING it UP

So I wonder what Melly wants, ya know? Friends? 'Dragging people to her'? Hmmmm 🤔I haven't a clue right now LOOOL I like trying to think about it though HEH

anyway this is a complete topic jump but do you think melli has just had to get used to the fact that his fellow highlands warden will NOT leave him alone. ingo does not know how to handle being so goddamn isolated and like. he loves his team but they are. pokemon. he needs to have actual conversations or he'll lose it even more than he already has. and sure, he does go back up to the pearl settlement (or down to jubilife once it exists) sometimes, and that's great he loves that, but he can't really make an excuse to do that every single day when most of his duties involve being in the highlands. so: showing up at moonview just to talk at melli. whether he wants it or not
