My #1 post of 2022

Cooking companions is actually so interesting just by premise alone... like... the setup that the MC has come to this remote cabin with your closest friends only for the twist that not only wasn’t this some simple vacation, but you weren’t even apart of the group in the first place. This group came to your home and you took them in with the intent to tear them to shreds and eat them later. Yet, the illusion of being their close friend is what makes it so good. The group include you in conversations that involve info only they would personally know, when they reveal their trauma once you get to full hearts it’s as if your best friend is opening up to you, you’re tricked into thinking the MC ever had a true emotional connection to these people is so riveting and horrifying.

Despite being a total stranger to this group, they treat you as one of their own.

Because they’re all strangers, as well.

Theyre all just acquaintances, the only ones who actively get along with each other are Gregor and Anatoly (though Mariah and Anatoly are mentioned to be pretty close as well after her death, we just don’t see them interact like that too much, probably because Mariah suffers from “first character to die and thus not much is learned about them until after they’re gone” disease). They aren’t as close as we think, they were merely brought together by the circumstances that led them to seek shelter in your cabin. They’re putting all their trust into you because you provided them shelter and support, just like they’re putting all their trust into each other to stick together and stay safe.

They just needed protection, they were vulnerable.

And you know how you respond?

You use all their resources to make a single meal on the first day at your cabin- something they only fully realize until afterwards- and you drive them to self sacrifice so they can feed their friends.

Because you were never their friend.

Because you were never even human.

El golpe más rentable de la UFC

La UFC es la competición más importante de MMA (artes marciales mixtas), reúne a personalidades del deporte, leyendas del colectivo como boxeadores gran presencia de inversores. El evento tiene repercusión a nivel internacional, siendo estados unidos el núcleo de acción. El público de este evento deportivo son hombres de 18 a 50 años.

Los ingresos anuales tornan los 500 millones de dólares teniendo en cuenta el recaudo debido a la asistencia al evento, compra en taquillas el mismo día (los arenas cuentan con un aforo de 500.000 personas aproximadamente) y patrocinios. La retransmisión en plataformas de pago constituye la fuente de ingresos más clara. La aceptación del mercado, por parte de las marcas, a este deporte ha sido fundamental para el desarrollo del mismo.

Es por eso, que el mayor peso económico del evento son los patrocinios, ya que muchas tienen interés en dirigirse de una manera tan omnipresente a un público masculino de un amplio rango de edad, de una manera tan directa. La ventaja principal es que los logos forman parte del mismo evento, los cortes publicitarios se producen en función de la duración de cada combate sin producirse cortes durante el mismo (la duración de algunos puede llegar a los 25 minutos). Todos los estadios están impregnados de logos y elementos de identidad corporativa.

Entre algunos de los patrocinadores más importantes de cada evento se encuentran gigantes como Poker Stars, Burger King, Bud Light y Xyience.

Reebok, siendo el patrocinador actual más potente, firmó un contrato de colaboración durante en 2015 para los 6 años siguientes. Esto explica que tanto los bañadores de los deportistas durante la pelea, así como las equiparaciones del equipo y merchandising con logos, son un requisito obligado en la organización del evento.

Cabe destacar la figura de una de las personalidades más representativas de este deporte, Connor Mc Gregor. Poseyendo una de las mayores fortunas de Estados Unidos, es la cara de la UFC. Es por ello que las marcas no han dudaron en explotar su potencial.

Monster acaparó la figura de la estrella para sacar rentabilidad. En acciones como el momento de la decisión final de los árbitros comunicada con un primer plano de ambos deportistas, Mc Gregor sujeta una lata de Monster. Esta acción revierte en un beneficio de miles de dólares.

De esta misma manera, muchos otros deportistas se embolsan gran parte de sus ingresos debido a la publicidad y patrocinios en los que participan. Es por ello que el impacto más certero de la UFC deja la fuerza a un lado.

Para ser triste se debe ser solitario.

Llevo semanas y días estando triste. Atravieso un duelo, decidí terminar una relación de casi 4 años donde no tenía básicamente una queja.

Me gusta el cine, de las artes es mi favorita. Veo cuanto cine puedo, cuanto la vida me deja. Muchas veces siento que mi vida es una película, que está dividida en capítulos, y que este debe ser uno de los tristes (pero que algo mejor vendrá).

Justo ahora veo Beginners: así se siente el amor, desde el título sabemos que es una película romántica. Siempre me ha encantado Ewan Mc Gregor, sobre todo su cabello cuando está despeinado. El personaje es el de un diseñador gráfico, como mi ex; también es un solitario y está triste, como yo. Bueno, yo no soy solitaria, nunca he podido serlo.

Pero en este momento creo que para ser triste se debe ser solitario.

Conceptos Generales.---

1695 – La Administración nació con la familia, desde que en el hogar se dio las primeras funciones y responsabilidades.

1696 – El término OIKONOMOS o Economía, indica el manejo del hogar, y de ahí la base de lo que sería a futuro la Administración como ciencia moderna.

1697 – Con la aparición de los ferrocarriles y bancos a fines del siglo XIX, es que la misma empieza a tener auge.

1698 – Etimológicamente el término del cual se basa su concepto general es ad = hacia, minister = mando de otro. Se refiere a ejercer una función bajo el mando de otro.

1699 – La Administración busca la aplicación inteligente de conocimientos con la finalidad de dirigir los recursos en una organización y lograr los objetivos comunes. Por ello ésta se considera ciencia, técnica y arte.

1700 – Muchos autores dan múltiples definiciones y todas en alguna medida se complementan mutuamente.

1701 – Una definición acertada podría ser: “Es una ciencia social basada en el saber humano, compuesta por principios, técnicas y prácticas; aplicables sobre los grupos humanos, permitiendo establecer sistemas racionales de esfuerzo cooperativo para lograr objetivos comunes “.

1702 – Analizándola en su verdadera intención, nos enseña a constituir, estructurar y gobernar una empresa; de tal forma que exista eficacia en los esfuerzos humanos, permitiendo obtener mejores equipos y materiales, obteniendo también servicios y productos más eficientes, estableciendo óptimas relaciones humanas y como consecuencia acreditar buenas relaciones públicas.

Teorías Administrativas. – Las definiremos en cinco etapas consecutivas:

1703 – Primera Etapa (1900-1930). Llamada la Administración Científica, se basaba en el máximo rendimiento con el mínimo esfuerzo. Es el empleo inteligente del esfuerzo humano. Se basa en el estudio de los tiempos y movimientos, dominio de técnicas de descomposición del trabajo, control, el equilibrio entre la autoridad y responsabilidad. Sus propulsores fueron: Mac Weber (sociólogo alemán), Henry Fayol (francés) y Frederick Taylor (norteamericano).

1704 – Segunda Etapa (1930-1960). Se basaba en la estructuración de la organización y sistema, los efectos del trabajo sobre la productividad. Presta atención a las personas. Se veía desde el punto de vista del gerente o propietario. Saltan a la luz las vertientes de las teorías “x” y “y”. La primera decía que los trabajadores son perezosos por naturaleza y hay que dirigirlos para que realicen sus labores. La segunda propugna que los trabajadores son creativos, confiando en sus responsabilidades.

are you in love ? Not really, no. Love my friends. Love my family. Absolutely love my cat. Don’t have a romantic love for anyone though.

do you have a crush ? Not at the moment.

celebrity crush ? Is it bad the first person that came to mind was Ewan Mc/Gregor? Loved him as Obi Wan. Emma Wat/son is very beautiful too.

do you believe in love at first sight ? I believe it can happen for some people. Not something I think would happen to me.

thoughts about marriage ? Right now? Nah, I’m not ready. I think it could be in my future but it has to be someone special.

what does your ideal partner look like ( inside and out ) ? I want someone who is my best friend first and foremost. They have to be able to take things slow and be understanding. I’ve not really thought much about my ideal partner’s appearance though.

would you consider yourself a flirt ? I’ve accidentally done it a few times, but I wouldn’t say I would ever do it on purpose.

guilty pleasure ? There’s this makeup show called FaceOff, and I love watching it for the cool designs.

how would your character react if…

if they walk into the shower and see a huge spider sitting right in the middle of it ? He’d talk to the spider. Then, he’d try to ease the spider out of the shower because “Don’t want you to drown, little guy.” And, once the spider was clear, he’d take his shower.

they found out they won the lottery ? First thing he’s doing is pinching himself to make sure he’s not dreaming and that he didn’t fall asleep again. Second thing, he’s calling his parents. Then, he’d tell a select few friends.

if they find a someone’s wallet on the floor which holds lots of cash ? He’d check the ID and then if he doesn’t see the person, he’d turn it in to the nearest store or place that can take it. If he’s high at all, he’s taking some of the cash or even possibly setting it right back on the ground.

they hear a knock on their door and when they say “enter” their ex walks in ? Depends on which ex, but it’d be safe to assume he’d hug her and try to carry on a normal and calm conversation, even if with one of them, he’d be wondering how she found him.

if their house was on fire and they had 60 seconds to leave ? what 5 things would they take with them ? If it’s the frat house, his phone, wallet, sketchbook, picture of his family, and laptop. If it’s his home-home, his cat, sketchbook, phone, wallet, and then he’d grab whichever family member he passed by the arm.

when was the last time you tried something new ? Well, I tried working with a new medium in class recently. I don’t think I like carving much.

would you ever give up on your life if you could save someone else’s with it ? I mean, not to be selfish, but it depends on the person. For a kid, absolutely. For family, positively. Strangers... Not so much.

are you happy with yourself ? If I’m honest, no.

what chances do you wish you had taken ? I wish I had applied to bigger art schools. Don’t get me wrong, I love where I am, but I wish I’d seen if I could have gotten in.

what’s the first thing you think when you see yourself in the mirror ? “Holy shit that awful bedhead” or “God I’m still tired.”
