Effect Definitions:

Magia Seal is a Status Ailment that prevents the target from using their Magia/Doppel.

Damage Down will decrease the target’s damage on attacks.

TLDR: This is an excellent memoria for Ranked Mirrors, provided you have the right units. If you don't care about Ranking, then feel free to skip it.

Review: It should come as no surprise that this memoria is Ranked mirrors whale bait, however it's more unique than you might think. For one, there are only two memoria in the game that can give Magia Seal-- and "Ascending Cherry Blossom Front" is the other one; notably a limited memoria that hasn't had a rerun in years. That makes "I Am Here" very important to any whale that wants an easy on-hand demand Magia Seal to keep pesky Devil Homuras from wiping their team in Ranked mirrors.

Note the short cooldown at five turns-- if you want to use this memoria, you'll need to max awaken it to properly utilize it. On units with turn-one Skill Quicken (such as Darkness Mitama, Akuma Homura-chan, and Mitsuru Inami), this memoria can be used on turn two. This makes it extremely powerful in denying specific enemy units their magia/doppels, especially if the enemy had enough anti-status ailments to prevent previous Magia Seals from being applied in the first turn.

The Damage Down is also helpful in applying a blanket debuff to the entire enemy team-- note however that the Magia Seal portion only extends to one character, so make sure you select them before using this memoria.

If you don't care about Mirrors Ranking then you can feel free to disregard this memoria. Though, do note that it's possible that it might have some niche use in battle types like the Hundred Evils where enemy magia can be an issue, but don't roll on the gacha just for that possibility.

Shitty Review of Uwasa Mikoto

I keep rewriting the big review post (the problem is that talking about Uwasa Mikoto means talking about Regular Mikoto and it's a headache) so let's do a little one with my thoughts that is less intimidating:

TLDR: Nice but not a must-have. If you don't have a good generalized attacker for things like Hundred Evils, you may want to invest.

I'd put this under a cut but you know what, I won't! I wrote all this, y'all are gonna have to read it or scroll by it cause fuck you

Uwasa Mikoto is a better version of Regular Mikoto.

Uwasa Mikoto is a Support/MP Support/Tank Support, just like Regular Mikoto, but now Uwasa Mikoto can actually deal out damage.

She gives the whole team Strengthened Counter which can hilariously kill enemies when they attack you. It's better (in some ways) than regular Mikoto, whose attack did fuck all when she would counter back.

Uwasa Mikoto can gain MP much more easily than Regular Mikoto through her SE which gives MP Gain Up and MP Up When Damaged, something that Regular Mikoto really ought to have had.

She also comes with a passive 40% MP Gauge on Start, and you can combine that with her shitty personal that gives 15% MP Gauge on Start (and Accele MP Gain Up). This makes it easy for her to hit Magia/Doppel on turn two just by taking a few hits from the enemy, something she can handle easily with her good stats.

VARIABLE makes her very interesting. She'll have it on herself for three turns and then can get it back for more turns on Doppel. Couple that with the Doppel's MP Restore and her penchant for gaining MP when getting hit, and you have a very tanky support who can whip out some damage fairly consistently.

She's more selfish a unit in some ways than Regular Mikoto. For example, she no longer gives the team 5 MP Regen for three turns and she no longer will give the following on Doppel: Reflect Debuffs/MP Up When Damaged/Strengthened Counter to the team either. Instead she gives herself Damage Increase, Reflect Debuffs, Variable, and MP Restore.

She DOES give MP Restore on Connect, which is always nice.

I was testing out Uwasa Mikoto and comparing her to Regular Mikoto for a while today. Both of my units only have two slots, which is kind of a problem for someone you want to tank, but I found that Uwasa Mikoto was still decent without her last two slots. I started off with a really silly but fun team comp for mirrors:

This actually proved pretty enlightening in some areas. For example, you obviously don't want to field two Mikotos, but also all these supports start to run into and interfere with each other-- not enough to keep me from winning, but enough that these girls who want to take hits just weren't getting them. But first off, some things I noticed, especially regarding both Mikotos:

First off, like mentioned above, all these girls but especially both Mikotos want to take hits and will end up stealing hits from each other. This is especially bad when Uwasa Mikoto has mp gain up when damaged and Regular Mikoto has Guardian, which kinda interferes with that.

Secondly, for Darkness Mitama at least, the whole Reflect Debuffs thing doesn't work when the enemy team is Skill Sealed, so it felt sort of like a waste.

After that, there was an unexpected issue that really should have been expected by me. Both Mikotos come with barrier-- Mikoto with a higher barrier for herself, and Uwasa Mikoto a smaller barrier for the whole team. Barrier will always choose the highest source, so it feels sort of like a waste to use both at the same time, especially since regular Mikoto will have Guardian and should take most of the hits.

This made me realize a small issue that Uwasa Mikoto will have on more established accounts (that prioritize good units)

All three of these gals can give the team barrier. Infinite Iroha will give 5k + 3% Regen HP on her SE Active, MadoIro will give it on Magia/Doppel (for 5k and 8k respectively), and Uwasa Mikoto will give it on her SE Active (5k + Str. Counter for 3 turns) and on her Magia/Doppel (8k and 10k respectively).

This isn't a bad thing and you can sort of play around it? But it does present a problem-- Barrier won't stack, so using all their doppels on the same turn feels like a bad idea, especially on punishing fights. But sometimes you really want to use all the doppels on the same turn, and you'll feel punished for that.

This isn't the worst thing in the world by any means, it just shows that Uwasa Mikoto has a lot of overlap with other units.

Additionally, as much as she can be compared to Regular Mikoto, I think you can also compare her to a lot of the recent fast mp magia units released. She'll gain mp quickly and can be firing off Magia/Doppels pretty easily, especially when she tanks like you want her to. That said, she does have a flaw-- she can't heal herself. The barrier is supposed to help with that (and her good stats), but eventually you'll want to use a healer... and some of the best healer choices come with-- you know-- barrier.

Then again, I suppose she'd pair well with units like Scene zero Madoka or... Kako if you're lacking in good heals.

Really, if I had to compare her to someone... Yeah Regular Mikoto comes up, but so does Uwasa Sana? Both are self sufficient Balance types with a lot of defense and potential attack power. Like don't get me wrong, this is NOT the best comparison, but both feel like "brawler" types-- they can stand on their own and take a lot of enemies down with them.

I also felt like her Strengthened Counter was far more useful here. I outright saw her kill a tank after getting hit twice, which was hilarious and also made sense-- According to the Fandom Wiki, Strengthened Counter "has a base power of 120%", which makes her counter-attack pretty weighty. Is this a good thing? The benefit of Regular Mikoto is that she's not dealing a lot of damage, which is strictly good for stuff like the old version of Ranked Mirrors, meaning that you can prolong fights. However, Uwasa Mikoto should be more helpful for regular PVE at least.

I actually think that she might be a decent choice for things like Hundred Evils, if you don't have a good attacker already. The variable gives her a good way to deal lots of damage right away, she can easily earn MP, and her ability to reflect Debuffs should prove hilarious.

She's not as much a team player imo than regular Mikoto, and I kind of wish that her kit was either more selfish, or more supportive. For example, it's great that she gives the whole team Strengthened Counter now, but since you actually want to use her discs, it feels less useful.

Oh I should have done this earlier, but this is how Uwasa Mikoto stacks up when compared to other units, and this is considering a team with full SE and AE:

Higher than Kimochi Rabi (which shocked me), but under Konoha. Fairly middle ground-- but again, factor in her Variable and you can see how she starts to become a real decent fighter.

Basically, I think she's a decent brawler-type character who is a much more damaging version of her original version. She still functions well as a Tank and really wants to take hits, but her support is more limited than her OG version. Strengthened Counter can outright kill people which is HILARIOUS to watch.

The only other thing I'll say is that if you're getting her to use her, you want ideally 3-4 slots. My two-slot version is fine, but she's getting heavy carries from the rest of the team. Tanks in general suffer from needing as many slots as possible to equip both passives and actives, giving them as many beefy stats as they can.

Lastly, you want to equip her with Damage Cut, especially in mirrors, so she doesn't prevent enemies from attacking her.

The Flame Community had already managed to figure out the process of making soul animals tangible when others caught on. While at first they tried to keep others from doing it, it died out fast when enough 'civilians' got sick of being dragged into the mafia they led a world wide revolt. No more being forced into a life of crime.

For young Sawada Tsunayoshi, it changed his life. The Hibaris who ran the town picked him up age eight to rip away the seal that harmed him, allowing his lion to come into being. His mother was freed of her seal to, though that was very different given she had never wanted children and now having one was very off putting and horrifying for her.

They moved past it, with Nana learning her flames and taking glee in calling the Boogeymen of the magia down on her ex husband. Tsuna was just happy to move to a new school that knew of flames, and didn't press him to much as he did his own thing. He slowly was gathering guardians when Natsu ran off after a glowing chameleon, Tsuna following fast.

Meeting the World's Greatest Hitman? Startling. Seeing how Natsu and Leon played together? Even more so given they were actually touching the other, meaning Tsuna was Reborn's soulmate.

It was platonic. Reborn was in his words, 'fucking old' and uninterested in a child despite all claims of Bianchi (a ruse he was paid for to distract the former Falco heir from her newborn sister). Tsuna himself didn't think of the cursed man in that way at all. Rather, the two fell into a calm pattern of Reborn randomly showing up to cause chaos and be Tsuna's parental figure (especially when Nana had troubles sometimes), and then going off on missions. They were happy.

Then the Vongola wanted to train their 'secret heir'.

Reborn had a gun for them.

So I know Muffin Record has already done a useful breakdown of which memoria to choose in the current limited gacha but I figured I'd do a more in depth guide so that people can make choices specific to what their account needs and also because I just thought it would be fun. I will be going over each memoria in the order it's listed.

Serial Connect

The amount of Damage Increase it gives is very high but the boost to Doppel damage is low when compared to Voice of the Shell or Wavering Loyalty. Overall a good pick for Doppel spammers.

The World my Big Sister Can See

One of the best picks you can make. It's specifically made for flame girls but magia spammers of any kind can appreciate the Magia Up and MP Gain up. You really can't go wrong with this one.

The Route to Chase the Dream

Very solid memoria that's specifically made for aqua blasters but can can be used by blasters of any element. A solid choice if you're in need of a good blast passive.

Wavering Loyalty

One of the best magia actives in the game, it's made with dark types in mind but the Magia and Doppel Up buffs are high enough that any doppel spammer can use it. A great choice.

Could Not Throw It Away

This is essentially an even better version of this unlimited memoria. One of the best mirrors memoria but if you already have that other one I'd probably go for something else.

Brief Piece of Mind

This is one of the ones I'd recommend the least, it's not bad by any means but it's a bit niche, being made primarily for flame blasters in a charge/blast comp. It's very good for the Aquamarine kimochi but is not better than other blast actives in most other scenarios.

Guided by the Voice of the Shell

Identical to Wavering Loyalty but instead of boosting dark types it boosts aqua types.

Watching Over a Small First Dream of the Year

The most general-purpose memoria in the entire selection, you can slap it on magia or blast units. If you want a memoria that you can use on any kind of offensive unit it's a good choice but if you want something more specialized I'd go for something else.

Towards the True Conclusion

This memoria buffs both magia damage and MP gain at the same time so if you need a memoria that does either of those things this is a good choice. However if you have rolled MadoIro or plan to do so in the future be aware that there's an active on that gacha that is a strict upgrade to this one.

Magical Girls Are Sorcerers

A very handy memoria to have for Ranked Mirrors because it negates the ever present Skill Seal ailment (even when not MLBd) while giving a very nice damage increase. Outside of Ranked it's still good but you might be better off using something with more general effects.

Fairy Tale Entrusted with a Prayer

Another one of the best picks, offers a nice attack buff and buffs MP Gain. Not much else to say, it's just good.

Never Ending Fairy Tale

It offers a nice magia damage buff but I wouldn't recommend it over the aforementioned magia actives. 100% burn is nice but not better than an additional buff or debuff imo.

Magical Girls Are Sorcerers

Obtainability: Limited to the “Snow Thawing Befana” event gacha (rerun).

Single Effect: Damage Increase [25%] & Anti-Skill Seal [100%]

MLB Effect: Damage Increase [30%] & Anti-Skill Seal [100%]

Effect Definitions:

Damage Increase will increase the damage done by the equipped character’s attacks, and its effect takes place after the buffs and debuffs are calculated. Damage Increase and Damage Up are essentially the same effect, however Damage Up has a 100% cap while Damage Increase doesn’t. Both collectively cap at 300%.

Anti-Skill Seal prevents the equipped unit from being afflicted with Skill Seal. Skill Seal is a Status Ailment that will cause the afflicted target to be unable to use Active skills, such as memoria or Spirit Enhancement Actives.

TLDR: “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” is a good Whale-tier memoria and it can be used on Supports. Its high Damage Increase coupled with its high ATK stats make it a powerful offensive memoria, and its Anti-Skill Seal could make it helpful for Ranked Mirrors.

Review: “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” is an excellent memoria. It has two good effects, making it extremely useful as both a generic offensive memoria and also as a preventative measure. It’s possible that this memoria could see a lot of usage in Ranked Mirrors, but it can also be useful outside of that arena as well.

Let’s address the Damage Increase first. Damage Increase is extremely useful for whales on memoria as only one character in the game (as of writing this review) can give Damage Increase through a Magia/Doppel. Every other character gives Damage Up. That means you want to stack Damage Increase memoria where you can, especially if you’re sure you can cap on Attack Up through alternative means. Naturally that means the more Damage Increase, the better. There are a number of passive and active options one can choose, but let’s take a look at the competitors for “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” amongst passive memoria:

Scarily enough, “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” is among the best of the best when it comes to Damage Increase memoria, as it will provide a staggering 30% Damage Increase when max-awakened. Now, it’s not alone in that-- the unlimited “Moment of Perfection” will also give 30% Damage Increase. However, “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” also gives much better passive ATK stats: when max leveled, it gives 2350 ATK as opposed to “Moment of Perfection” giving 1817. 

That difference probably won’t mean much to a non-whale who doesn’t care about scoring highly in Kimochi, but it will make all the difference to a player who is trying to squeeze out as much damage as possible wherever they can.

This high amount of Damage Increase and passive ATK stats make this also an excellent memoria to use wherever you want for generic gameplay. It also means it will work well on Supports (just make sure that the equipped character doesn’t already have Anti-Skill Seal in their Spirit Enhancement!). 

Speaking of Anti-Skill Seal, let’s talk about that as well. “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” is the clear winner when comparing it to other memoria in the game with Anti-Skill Seal on them:

(4*) “Being Wrapped In Self-Reproach” Anti-Skill Seal [100%] & Accele MP Gain Up [15%]

(Limited Welfare 3*) “My Soul for the Land of the Rising Sun” Anti-Skill Seal [100%]

(Limited Welfare 4*) “Place Where You Can Meet Everyone” Anti-Skill Seal [65%] & Anti-Darkness [100%] & Attack Up [10%]

The only other decent Four-Star option would be “Being Wrapped In Self-Reproach”, but it gives Accele MP Gain Up instead of a more beneficial offensive effect. Equipping “Magical Girls Are Sorcerers” over these other memoria means you don’t need to sacrifice good passive memoria damage for protection.

However, there is another benefit. Some units in the game aimed at Ranked Mirrors can inflict Skill Seal onto their enemies: this includes the popular Darkness Mitama who can inflict it through her Spirit Enhancement Active and on her Magia/Doppel. Granted, it’s going to be a very bad time for you if Darkness Mitama is able to get either ability off, but this memoria can add a little protection just in case she does.

So overall? A good whale-tier memoria.

The Main villain of the history of Danny, the one who cause all the Bad things in the history, the biggest jerk of all the jerks. MORGAN HUVED!

💀 Morgan is the main antagonist and villain of the story, I have in mind that his role will increase as time goes by, but definitely from the beginning he would be a thorn in the side even before the beginning of the story, since he was the mind teacher behind the Terrorist event popularly called "The Sleeping Event"

💀Morgan was born with an extremely rare body type in his universe, since he had the magical systems of the three types of magic (it is the genetic equivalent of having golden blood, very difficult but not impossible), which made him very powerful but immune to Incetones (magic vaccines) that made him immune to curses or cursed spells, thus triggering his obsession with them.

💀Morgan is a sadist and a total son of a bitch, as he says in his file, he is a sociopath who does not understand limits and finds it fun to cross them in every sense, whether physical limits (torture), mental or psychological.

💀he's a sociopath, so he has VERY VERY selective empathy that apparently only extends to his family, his wife and his children. but he still has no problem dragging them into his harmful and selfish goals.

💀Morgan is like a Mad Hatter taken to the extreme, he only cares about becoming more powerful and having control over the Floating Cities, he BELIEVES he has that right by being born special, but in general he is just a narcissistic asshole. He's not as smart as he thinks.

💀his parents ironically were very loving but overprotective, precisely because they didn't want Morgan to be cursed by being more vulnerable to that. although this caused 1- Morgan to have 0 social skills, 2- to have above average magical performance and 3- to have a very toxic relationship with his only friend, Andrei (which I will talk about another day).

💀Morgan loves difficult puzzles and riddles, in a way he himself speaks poetically, so it was easy for him to gain recruits for his "cause".

💀Both Morgan and his wife Flora are locked up in maximum security prisons in different parts of the Cities and with as many seals as possible to prevent them from using magic. We could say that this is Morgan's primordial state at the beginning of the story.

💀Morgan would have a certain resemblance in usefulness to Hannibal Lecter during the story. Morgan's hair is VERY brittle because it lacks ketones, which is also why it takes a long time to grow. eat A LOT of sweets.

💀Morgan's relatives are HIS PARENTS (relatives in Danny's world are ancestors or relatives who let them mix their ashes with magical devices to return as spirits and guide new generations, but in this case Morgan's relatives are UNSTABLE ).

(and as an extra fact: Morgan's children probably live in another city other than "Alvaluz" and even changed their name so as not to be recognized)

💀 Morgan es el antagonista principal y villano de la historia, tengo en mente que su rol irá aumentando con el pasar del tiempo, Pero definitivamente desde el inicio sería un piedra en el zapato incluso antes del comienzo de la historia, ya que fue la mente maestra detrás del evento Terrorista llamado popularmente como "El Evento Durmiente"

💀Morgan nació con un tipo de cuerpo extremadamente raro en su universo, ya que tenía los sistemas mágicos de los tres tipos de magia(es el equivalente genético a tener sangre dorada, muy difícil pero no imposible), lo cual lo hacia muy poderoso pero inmune a las Incetonas(vacunas mágicas) que le hacían inmune a las maldiciones o conjuros malditos, desencadenando así su obsesión con los mismos.

💀Morgan es un sádico y un hijo de puta total, como dice en su ficha, es un sociopata que no entiende los límites y encuentra divertido el cruzarlos en todo sentido, ya sea límites físicos(tortura), mentales o psicológicos.

💀es un sociópata, por lo que tiene una empatía MUY MUY selectiva que aparentemente solo se extiende a su familia, su esposa y sus hijos. pero aún así no tiene problema en arrastrarlos a sus metas dañinas y egoístas.

💀Morgan es como un Sombrero Loco llevado al extremo, solo le importa hacerse más poderoso y tener el control sobre las Ciudades Flotantes, el CREE tener ese derecho al haber nacido especial, pero en general solo es un imbécil narcisista. no es tan listo como cree.

💀sus padres irónicamente eran muy amorosos Pero sobreprotectores, justamente porque no querían que Morgan fuera maldecido al ser más vulnerable a eso. aunque esto causo que 1- Morgan tuviera 0 habilidades sociales,2- que tuviera un desempeño mágico superior al promedio y 3- que tuviera una relación muy tóxica con su único amigo, Andrei(del que hablaré otro día).

💀Morgan ama los Puzzles y acertijos difíciles, en cierta forma el mismo habla de forma poética, por lo que le era fácil ganar reclutas para su "causa".

💀Tanto Morgan como su esposa Flora están encerrados en prisiones de máxima seguridad en distintas partes de las Ciudades y con la mayor cantidad posible de sellos para evitar que usen magia. podríamos decir que este es el estado primordial de Morgan al principio de la historia.

💀Morgan tendría cierto parecido en utilidad a Hannibal Lecter durante la historia . el pelo de Morgan es MUY quebradizo porque le falta acetonas, también gracias a eso tarda mucho en crecer. come MUCHOS dulces.

💀los familiares de Morgan son SUS PADRES(los familiares en el mundo de Danny son antepasados o parientes que dejan que mezclen sus cenizas con artilugios mágicos para volver como espíritus y guiar a las nuevas generaciones, Pero en este caso los familiares de Morgan son INESTABLES).

(y como dato extra: los hijos de Morgan probablemente viven en otra ciudad que no sea "Alvaluz" y hasta se cambiaron de nombre con tal de no ser reconocidos)

Datos

El apodo "Alter" se lo puso Serisa.

Mantiene las mismas habilidades que poseia como gato, sin embargo siendo un tainted le dio la habilidad de flotar (a lo newtwo xD), cambiar de apariencia y viajar por las sombras..... esta ultima usandola como metodo de llegar mas rapido a lugares lejanos.

Alter es inmune al dolor, si lo lastiman no lo sentira ni aunque le corten un brazo

No tiene la necesidad de comer o beber y aunque lo intentara no detecta sabores

no tiene alma por lo tanto tampoco emociones, sin embargo alter a llegado a sentir emociones con serisa y otras personas pero es muy raro (caso parecido al de arma de @groriatrevi10xx)

Alter no suele pelear porque no le interesa, normalmente prefiere perseguir mariposas o los libros flotantes de la biblioteca de las ruins town

Alter conocio a serisa cuando esta aparecio en el mundo tainted, actualmente sellado y destruido por la misma (esa es historia para otro dia)

Facts

The nickname "Alter" was given to him by Serisa.

He maintains the same abilities that he had as a gato, however being a tainted gave him the ability to float (like newtwo xD), change appearance and travel through the shadows… the latter using it as a method of getting faster to far away places.

Alter is immune to pain, if he is hurt he will not feel it even if his arm is cut off

He does not have the need to eat or drink and even if he tried, he does not detect flavors

It has no soul therefore no emotions, however alter has come to feel emotions with serisa and other people but it is very rare (case similar to that of Arma from @groriatrevi10xx)

Alter doesn't usually fight because he's not interested, he usually prefers to chase butterflies or the floating books in the ruins town library

Alter met serisa when she appeared in the tainted world, currently sealed and destroyed by her (that's a story for another day)

did f4samurai not release magical girl seals this year? if yes thats very dissapointing :// i saw some from the magirepo vol6 book and it only had until fairytale yachiyo ....

The April Fools event only starts on April 5th. Magia Report events have not been released on April 1st since 2020, if I recall correctly.

We did get a preview of some seals through the book release (screenshot provided comes from a free preview). Note that this book only covers units and episodes released in 2022 - some of these seals, such as Isabeau's, were already available in last year's April Fools event, while some are brand new (Mikoto's, for instance).

We should be getting Seals for all units released between last year's MagiRepo event and this year's.
