Babel Tales
* * * *
"You always learn from observing. You have to pick things up nonverbally because people will never tell you what you’re supposed to know. You have to get it for yourself: whatever it is that you need in order to survive. You become strong by doing the things you need to be strong for. This is the way genuine learning takes place."

PROSES. . Wajarnya manusia itu mencari hasil dalam aktivitasnya, dalam hidupnya. . Namun orang hebat itu justru enggak peduli hasil. Dia hanya peduli proses. . Hidup itu bukan tentang keadaan, bukan tentang bagaimana keadaan kita. Kehidupan ini adalah tentang bagaimana kita berproses, bagaimana proses yg kita jalani, proses yg kita lakui, proses yg kita lalui. . . Proses adalah belajar, learning, laku. Itulah kenapa para tetua kita selalu berpesan: (terus) berlajarlah seumur hidup kita, sepanjang hidup kita. Jangan pernah berhenti belajar. . Jika kita kebingungan mencari makna hidup, maka sebenarnya cukup satu hal ini saja yg perlu kita jalanii untuk memberi makna pada hiddup, agar hidup kita bermakna: belajar. Berproses. Berlaku. Laku. . Urip kuwi dilakoni kanthi laku. . Selamat beraktivitas. Selamat berproses, selamat menjalani proses. Selamat menjalani hidup. . Urip kuwi dilakoni kanthi laku. . BMWCCI Kediri Chapter pun juga tak lepas dari kewajiban ini: terus berproses sepanjang masa masih berlangsung. . #life #hidup #kehidupan #proses #process #learn #leraning #learningtolife #SEW1NDU #bmwccikediri #bmwccikedirichapter #teambledhugkelud #joyishere #joyisalwayshere #4ever (at Di Sini Saja) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch50E_BvLT9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Don’t say something you regret out of anger
Tumblr media
“There once was a little boy who had a very bad temper. His father decided to hand him a bag of nails and said that every time the boy lost his temper, he had to hammer a nail into the fence.
On the first day, the boy hammered 37 nails into that fence.
The boy gradually began to control his temper over the next few weeks, and the number of nails he was hammering into the fence slowly decreased. He discovered it was easier to control his temper than to hammer those nails into the fence.
Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father the news and the father suggested that the boy should now pull out a nail every day he kept his temper under control.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.
"You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there."

Lifelong learning is more than important, but it’s also of incredible use for our careers. The problem is that we all have different goals and ambitions, so it’s a challenge to know how to get started and what to focus on in terms of our lifelong learning. That’s the reason why I’ve researched the topic and put this article together.
You’ll learn why lifelong learning is one of the most important life skills you can possess, we go into the details of how to make it as productive as possible (the right type, timing and frequency), what courses I find myself going back to when I’m in need of refreshment (and which other sources are really useful), as well as tips on how to search for your next course.
The concept of lifelong learning is not new and it’s something that has always been encouraged during the time I was in college. However, it’s something that I have realised doesn’t stop with my graduation, but rather becomes even more important.

one thing I love is learning other languages. currently, I'm studying spanish, and one of my favorite ways to practice my listening skills is through music.
I've discovered many artists whom I've completely fallen in love with. I grew up listening to a lot of english songs, and for a kid who grew up in the 2000s, pop-punk is like heaven to me.
one of my favorite bands now is shego, a spanish band from spain, and aiko el grupo. I'm also reading some latin writers but in portuguese for now, such as Camila Sosa Villada and Agustina Bazterrica.
my current goal is to read directly in spanish to truly feel the language on another level.

How To Learn German Fast In 3 Steps
How To Learn German Fast In 3 Steps
Want to learn German fast? Need to know the basics before a trip to Germany? Don’t have time to dedicate years to learning a language inside and out? Well, learning a language is a journey, and since everybody learns at different paces, it can be difficult to pin down exactly how long it can take to learn German.
One thing is for sure, though, there are certainly ways to speed up your language learning. If you’re hoping to learn German in a short amount of time, it’s worth bearing in mind that GErman is considered one of the hardest European languages to become fluent in. But don’t let that stop you.
Here are 3 steps you can take to make learning German faster!
Step 1: Focus On Topics To Learn German Fast
How long do you think it would take to go from a language newbie to fluent in German? Probably a little longer than you might think! The average time to learn a language to the point of basic fluency is between 400-700 hours of learning.
There is one way around this long timeframe - and that’s to focus your learning. Why exactly are you learning German? Is it for a business trip? A holiday? Maybe to impress new German friends or relatives? Simply direct your time and energy into learning the vocabulary, phrases and grammar that relates to those particular situations.
For example, if you need to learn basic polite conversation in German for a business setting, put your focus on language that would be most useful to professionals in your area. There’s no need to spend weeks learning how to order in a restaurant if you’re only going to be talking business!
Step 2: Speak Out Loud
Speaking in German  isn’t just an important skill to learn, it’s also proven to be one of the best ways to speed up your learning. Our brains process language much easier when we’re speaking it and attempting conversation.
Bonus points if you can speak with a native German speaker!
This will encourage you to perfect your speaking skills, but they can also highlight any little mistakes you might not notice with independent learning. You may mix up your grammar rules and not realise, but a native speaker can easily pick this out and show you how it's done in a real-world setting.
Step 3: Dedicate A Little Time Every Day
Whether you have a week or a month to learn as much German as possible, dedicate some learning time every single day.
If you don’t have the luxury of taking your time to get to grips with every aspect of a language, rely on consistency instead. If you want to get better at anything quick, repetition is the key. The cements the knowledge in our minds. The best way to ensure you're taking some time to learn German every day is to make it a part of your daily routine.
Make it a habit to watch a German language video while you eat dinner or listen to a German podcast before you go to bed. Take little moments to focus on learning German and it will quickly pay off.
Ready To Learn German Fast?
Itching to get started and become fluent in German fast? There are so many resources online to support your learning, and of course Idyoma is here to help with language exchange chat, pairing you with a native speaker who also wants to learn your language.
Download the app here and get confident with your German - schnell!

Building Intrinsic Motivation
Intrinsic motivation, driven by personal interest, enjoyment, and purpose, is a powerful tool for personal, academic, and professional achievement. Cultivating it leads to life satisfaction.
