Read Chapter 15: Nothing Brings Brothers Together Like Good Old Fashioned Murder HERE

Ian stubbed out the cigarette into the ashtray and sat up a little more, leaning towards Mickey he whispered, “Hey, you awake?”

“Mmm, I am now.” Mickey murmured, his low rumbly sleepy voice making butterflies in Ian’s belly flutter wildly.

Ian moved gently in the bed, not wanting to jostle Mickey, “Can’t sleep.” His lips quirked up in a smile as he moved closer to Mickey, now able to see his grin as he moved above him, carefully adjusting to where he was over Mickey, leaning down to where his chin was resting on Mickey’s back, holding himself to where he wouldn’t press against Mickey’s injured shoulder.

“Oh you can’t?” Mickey’s voice was teasing as he peeked between his thick lashes at Ian.

Ian grinned, a hand reaching up and tenderly touching Mickey’s side, before swiftly turning him over onto his back, being mindful to not disturb his shoulder, his hands keeping Mickey gently pinned to the bed.

Mickey looked up at Ian, his eyes wide with surprise, his lips tugging into a grin.

“Why? That a problem?” Ian teased, his grin blooming over his face.

“Oh no not at all.” Mickey answered, his eyebrows rising up, almost challenging Ian to do more before quickly slipping a hand free and reaching up, wrapping his arm around Ian’s neck, pulling him down.

Ian laughed as he fell against Mickey’s chest, “C’mon wake up!” Ian giggled as he reached up and gave Mickey gentle pats on the cheek.

“You are goin down carrots.” Mickey huffed through a grin, “C’mere carrots!” He tried to pull Ian back down to his chest.

Ian rolled to the side laughing as Mickey wrapped his arm around him and pulled him close to his chest.

Mickey laughed as Ian easily gave up his upper hand and relaxed against him, nuzzling his face there and inhaling deeply.

“I love how you smell, d’I ever tell you that?” Ian asked sleepily.

“Possibly, but I don’t mind hearing it again freckles.” Mickey murmured, his hand coming up and wrapping around Ian, his thumb brushing against his speckled shoulder.

Ian grinned and pressed a kiss to Mickey’s chest, “I love how you smell.” He murmured, grinning softly.

Ian could feel Mickey’s fingers curling into his hair and he wanted to let his touch drift him back to sleep..

Mickey hummed slightly as he leaned up and pressed his lips to the crown of Ian’s head, Ian shifted slightly and turned to where he was looking up at Mickey from his place on his chest, his chin almost hurting as it dug into his sternum.

“Hi.” Mickey murmured softly, grinning as he tilted his head up slightly, his chin pressing into his chest as his eyes roved over Ian.

Ian’s lips broke into a smile, “Hi.” He whispered back shyly, his copper eyelashes tracing against his dappled cheeks.

For a moment it felt like everything was at peace, the thought almost lulling them both back into a slumber.

“We can stay here forever,” Ian whispered.

Mickey was hit with a wave of heartache, because they couldn’t stay there forever, they had shit they had to do, had to deal with, then, once it was taken care of, then they could stay there forever.

Mickey Milkovich is doing his usual late night drives picking up drunks from clubs and people from airports. Uber driving isn't glamorous, but it's mainly solitary work he can do without dealing with anyone else's problems. One night he's called to pick up a couple from the Fairy Tale in Boys Town, not exactly his cup of tea, he didn't even drink tea. I always forget to make a space at the top of the post when I do photo drafts from my phone.

BUT! @gallacrafts! For the Theme Gallapets I went through all my fics where they (Mickey) has a pet (cat) and made little clay kitties of each one!

To be fair I left out Mavs from Spare Parts because I don't have more than her name yet.

Mickey always loves a lil lady cat and here are all his babies!

From Secret Santa we have Stella the tabby with a half orange face with one eye and one ear

From Squeaker we have Squeaker the tabby kitten.

From Mark My Skin I'm Falling In we have Zapley, who I didn't realize didn't really have a description of looks just that she was fluffy.

*When I told my sister the theme for this month was Gallapets she was like... "So Ian and Mickey as animals? Like dogs? "

Chrissy has nightmares and looks to Eddie for help. She also begins to lose the chains that her mother and Jason tie her down with thanks to Eddie's help and acceptance.

The New Girl At Hawkins High

Eddie Munson x Plus size reader where the reader is new to Hawkins and Eddie is drawn to her. Inviting her to join Hellfire for the night.

Gallavich/Shameless

Can We Skip To The Good Stuff

Mandy drags Mickey to a concert where they have a VIP pass to play dodgeball with the band and the crew, Mickey clocks the redhead in the face, gets taken back by security and talks with the redhead, hitting it off. Only when he sees Ian on stage does he realize he's the main singer.

The Upside

After Ian is injured after a bipolar manic episode that leaves him with c7 quadriplegia and in a wheelchair his older sister and brother decide he needs a caretaker.

Mickey is needing a job to appease his parole officer when he accidentally applies as Ian's life auxiliary. Which means up close and personal time with the redheaded boss.

Spare Parts

After a run with Terry goes bad and Mickey is shot, he has to undergo surgery to get his right arm and his right leg. His world is turned upside down as he tries to rehabilitate and cope with the sudden changes he is going through.

Ian is a physical therapist dealing with inner mental health problems and is working at Mountain Heights Physical Therapy when a tough looking brunette woman comes in to make an appointment for her brother.

Knight in a Shining Youber

Mickey is an uber driver, one night picking up a couple from the Fairy Tale he realizes the ginger is drugged out of his mind and the geriatric fuck he's with is taking advantage of him. Mickey takes Ian somewhere safe until he can sober up and tell him where he can take him.

Ian doesn't have anywhere to go, he's in dept to a drug dealer and he's recently been abused in several ways and his mind is all fucked up. When he wakes up to an unfamiliar surroundings with a blue eyed man making breakfast he doesn't know what to think, where to go. But Mickey is there to help.

Once Upon a Food Truck

Mickey and Ian are rival food truck operators in Chicago and when they begin fighting over a parking spot it starts to get personal with views being racked up on social media, the rivals decide a little fake dating for the fans will get them both plenty of customers. But the fake dating starts getting a little more realer than the two planned.

Valorous Vigilantes

Ian is an EMT when he gets a call to go to the Alibi where there's a fight happening. He's surprised to see Mickey Milkovich getting beat close to death by his father, even more surprised to find out that Terry was beating him because Mickey came out as "a big ol mo." Ian picks Mickey up and takes him to the hospital.

Once admitted Ian visits him and finds out more about Mickey than he had planned.

Big Top Beloveds

(This one doesn't get regularly updated, I just needed to get this bit out of my head.)

Mickey Milkovich is the new Circus Ringmaster/owner of the Gallagher Circus, Terry won it from Frank as a form of payment and is throwing the responsibility to Mickey, thinking it's a shit job. Mickey, completely out of his element, starts changing things around much to the irritation and anger of some members there, the tall redhead being one of them. Ian Gallagher is one of the acrobats and aerial performers of his father's circus, when a new ringmaster joins them and starts to change shit around Ian is pissed, until he realizes that the new ringmaster is the man with the stunning blue eyes from before.

Last six lines I wrote for Knight in a Shining Youber

Debbie was the only one that looked like Ian, red hair and spatterings of freckles everywhere. But whereas he had green eyes and a slight curl to his hair, Debbie’s was only a little wavy with brown eyes.

Thinking of Debbie made him feel a pang of longing for his siblings and he wished all this bullshit with Sean was over. He wanted to be able to grow and explore his and Mickey’s relationship, their love, without being on edge the entire time. Without wondering if the next person who booked an uber was going to try and kill them.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes! When people comment on my work, it makes me so very happy, and validated that there are other people that enjoy what I write. Makes me feel like I'm not just shouting into the void, and especially when someone leaves me a long comment about like how the fic made them feel, or what they noticed I took from the media the fic is based on, or even how it helped them with something, I've genuinely cried at a few comments. Even if someone takes the time to just leave an emoji or a keysmash I want to acknowledge that they took the time to read and comment.

There's only been one or two comments that I haven't replied to and it's because they were mean and rude as fuck. I didn't want to waste the energy with that user so I just deleted the comments.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hmmm, it's a toss up. Generally I write happy endings because angst makes me sad. I've done several dealing with depression and mental illness and they are kinda angsty, but the ones that I've written that made me physically ache were Blackbird and Time to Yank The Skeletons Out

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Happiest ending... that ones hard too because the majority have happy endings. I wanna say Soulmate Shellgame it gave me the giddy feelings when I finished writing it.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I write more AUs than crossovers, I can't think of any.

Heaven's Light Hell's Fire it's a Good Omens/Hunchback of Notre Dame with a dash of GoT crossover with the settings of HoND and characters of Good Omens.

Aziraphale is an apprentice/deacon and has been transferred from Tadfield to Notre Dame in Paris. Crowley lives in the bell tower, hidden away from the world. A skin disease called greyscale has turned his skin thick grey and black and scale-like. He is the bellringer for the cathedral.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yup, all the hate I've gotten on fics were the same troll that was also doing the same to other writers. After I found that out I just started deleting them.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes.

The smutty kind.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not a full fledged fic, I'll drabble back and forth with @witchboywitchboywitchboy and @flamingbluepanda sometimes.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Gallavich with Shameless, hands down. They have just been through EVERYTHING together and always weather the storm. Finding one another again and again after they're forced apart again and again. They're dedicated and crazy about one another, and ten years together they still have a fire that can't be dampened down. I want to say that's the first ship I've seen/watched enough that show a looooong stretch with one another and they learn and grow together on being better people as individuals and as a couple.

Aziracrow with Good Omens is what got me into writing and reading fanfic as well as what got me on tumblr, so they always have a spot in my hear too.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

UGH there's one I just left in my Good Omens stint once I started watching Shameless.

Heaven's Light Hell's Fire it's a Good Omens/Hunchback of Notre Dame crossover (AH I knew I had written one!)

I think about it all the time and I do have an ending for it, I just haven't gotten off the Gallavich train long enough to write it out. I want to do a filler chapter with like the bare bones of "xyz happens so you aren't left wondering what happens, but also I haven't written it yet"

I want to go back to it, but don't know if I will.

There's also Big Top Beloveds which I don't have an ending for, it was just an idea that wouldn't get the fuck out of my head. I might pick it up again sometime, but for now it was just getting it out.

15. What are your writing strengths?

I have endless ideas on what to write, My Gallavich fic note has... a shitton of bullets and blurbs. Same for my Eddie Munson/Stranger Things note.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to write several short sentences ending in periods instead of continuing it with a comma. It drives me nuts.

I also feel like my words are diluted in how I want them to come across. I want the reader to have this

going on in their minds when they read what I write. But I feel like I come off more of

Like I'm only partially there with what I want to convay.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I'm always afraid I'm going to fuck something up. I usually go to google translate, but I also happen to be friends with a kick ass linguist so I ask @witchboywitchboywitchboy for help too.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Good Omens

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I've been toying with the idea of writing a Steddie or JArgyle or even Jopper fic, but I'm on the fence on all of them. Not dedicated enough to them to write for them.

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

For Good Omens I still get really fond feelings over The Sweetest Thing in Life is Love it was really fun writing and researching the baked goods.

For Gallavich I wanna say Mark My Skin I'm Falling In or Can We Skip To The Good Stuff both have more real life being put into it than the others and it makes the writing of those parts super fun.

16. Favourite thing to fixate upon that is not your fic that you opened to work on?

Haha tumblr, without a doubt.

Sometimes when I'm researching something I have to look up something and get lost in that. Like for my Eddie Munson fics I had to look up D&D info and I got a little lost in that which was fun because I got to make characters for my characters.

16. What is AU you doing right now? Do you hate them?

Oh God, most of my WIPS if not all are AUs. let me see...

Chrissy Wake Up Stranger Things AU where Vecna isn't there and Chrissy doesn't die, still meeting Eddie in the woods. (don't hate)

New Girl At Hawkins High Stranger Things AU where Eddie Munson falls for the new plus size girl at school. Reader insert. (don't hate)

Once Upon A Food Truck Shameless/Gallavich AU where Ian and Mickey own and operate rival food trucks. Enemies to lovers/fake dating. (sometimes hate but am better now that they went on a date)

Knight in a Shining Youber Shameless/Gallavich AU where Mickey is an Uber driver and saves Ian from the old guy leaving with him at the club. Was supposed to be a one shot but is now a 14+ chapter fic. (don't hate it is the LOML)

Spare Parts Shameless/Gallavich AU where Ian is a physical therapist and Mickey has just gotten an arm and leg amputated. (hate only because I wanted to wait to start and not add it to my WIP collection. Stupid brain wouldn't leave me alone til i got this chapter out.)

The Upside Shameless/Gallavich AU Ian is in a wheelchair and Mickey is his attendant. Loosely a Me Before You/The Upside crossover. (don't hate, really enjoy this one)

Can We Skip To The Good Stuff Shameless/Gallavich AU where Ian and his brothers are in a band and Mickey meets him at a concert. (Love love and i'm SO CLOSE to writing a part)

Valorous Vigilantes Shameless/Gallavich AU where Ian is an EMT and he saves Mickey from fighting with Terry the night Mickey comes out. (I don't hate it, I hate the chapter I'm on, but that's because it's kind of dull at the moment IMO but I love the fic overall)

Big Top Beloveds Shameless/Gallavich AU where Ian is an acrobat/aerial performer and Mickey is the new owner of the circus. (I don't hate it, but it's my least favorite because the fizzle kinda died.)

Knight In A Shining Youber, New Chapter (finally)

Mickey and Ian go to talk to Fiona about everything, the talk doesn't go in any way how either of them thought it would.

Ian woke the next morning, he and Mickey had shifted around in their sleep, and Ian woke up with his face buried into Mickey's chest, his arm thrown over him. He glanced up and saw that Mickey had one arm wrapped around him, tightly even in sleep, and the other was stretched over his head, his fingers dangling.

The events of yesterday flooded Ian's mind as he he blinked some of the sleep out of his eyes, he tried to ignore it, but the feelings of guilt and shame washed over him like an ocean tide on the sand, just getting further and further up the beach as his mind cleared in the morning light. He tilted his chin up slightly and glanced up at Mickey, thankful he was still asleep, he wanted nothing more than to be wrapped around him for eternity. He turned his face to the side, letting his nose bury itself in the softness of Mickey's torso. Wanting to continue feeling safe in his sleep induced embrace, feeling cared for, even imagined how it would feel to be loved by Mickey as more than just a friend, or a nuisance to take care of. Ian winced at his own harsh thought. He felt the guilt of wanting to stay wrapped in Mickey's arms, wrapped in his life, but Mickey didn't deserve that bullshit.

"I just don't want to fuck up your life." he sighed looking up at Mickey and meeting his gaze warily, knowing that if they didn’t change the subject soon, he would be teary eyed.

Mickey looked at Ian, his eyes flickering with something Ian didn't entirely recognize, "Ian, you aren't fucking up my life.” He murmured softly, the words making a small flame of warmth grow in Ian’s chest.

"Ah, I was wondering when I would get to see you Curtis." The man from the stage said standing from the couch and taking a step towards him.

"Hi, um, sorry you had to wait a moment." Ian apologized.

"No problem, gave me some time to think about what I want out of this one on one session." The man said reaching forward, his hand wavering towards Ian's shoulder.

Ian tried not to flinch as he sidestepped the man's touch and held out his hand to shake the man's, "I'm Ia- Curtis, but uh you already seem to know that. What would you like me to call you?"

The man seemed undeterred by Ian's avoidance to his touch and grasped his hand in his own, "My name is Richard, but I'd like for you to call me Daddy Dick." The man, Richard, Daddy Dick squeezed Ian's hand tightly as he introduced himself.

Ian nodded his hand releasing from the other man's, "Okay um, Daddy Dick, what um what were you thinking about? “

Mickey’s eyes gliding over to Ian's sleeping form. He wanted to protect him, help him. Mickey's heart did a funny flutter in his chest and he wanted to squelch it, he felt like he would be taking advantage of Ian's vulnerability if he started to feel more things towards him than he already was. And he acknowledged that he was, he wasn't sure exactly what the feelings were, protectiveness sure, but he thought there might be more to it than just that. He just had to be careful about how he acted around Ian. He didn't want to push anything onto him, physical or emotional wise.

Mickey made a silent vow to Ian, to himself, that if his stupid heart continued to flutter around the redhead, that he wouldn't bring it up in any way, and wouldn't act on it in any way, until Ian was in a safer situation, and until he knew that Mickey wasn't one of those fucks that took advantage of him sexually. Not that Mickey thought Ian thought that Mickey would do that to him, but abuse could really fuck up someone's head.

Mickey sighed, it must have been more forceful than he intended because Ian's brow furrowed and his eyes clenched in his sleep before opening, blinking and looking around the room. Almost as if he needed to inventory his surroundings again.

"I fell asleep again?" He grumbled sitting up from the position he had been in, he scratched his head and looked at Mickey who was grinning and shrugging, "You need as much sleep as you can get, I'm not going to be waking you from it unless you ask me to."

Ian grinned, "Well that's a nice quality to have, one of your many." Mickey felt himself blush slightly, then banish the thoughts in his head.
