Quote
So on Saturday night Dell led Ficke to the Millays' apartment. The sisters had just hung pale blue curtains on the two  windows that looked out on the street. The head of their bed narrowly fit between the tall windows. They had rolled the pillows up like a long bolster, covering them and the bed with cloth patterened with orange moons and green trees Kathleen had sent them, then tossed on a couple of golden throw pillows. Vincent's trunk, under the window where the radiator wasn't, also covered with the same cloth as the curtains, made a cozy window seat. Then there was space for a bureau and writing table, and not room for much else but the sisters and a few guests and the mice.

Still must the poet as of old, In barren attic bleak and cold, Starve, freeze, and fashion verses to Such things as flowers and song and you;
Still as of old his being give In Beauty’s name, while she may live, Beauty that may not die as long As there are flowers and you and song.

where to find copies of kathleen millay's novels?
So I lucked out twice. My city library had both Against the Wall and Wayfarer that I was able to borrow. They have since gotten rid of them, but I was able to buy a copy of The Wayfarer used online bc I happened to check the right place at the right time.
Depending where you live, if you have a library that keeps a lot of old books you might be able to find it. You can always check worldcat.org which will tell you if a book is at any libraries nearby. If you’re in the US and the book is in your state, you might be able to do an Interlibrary Loan. Just ask your local public librarian!
The ultimate plan I had was to type up The Wayfarer myself someday and make it available somewhere. (Doesn’t it turn 100 years old in a few years?) But unfortunately I am busy and unmotivated to do such a tedious task. :|
Only other suggestion I have is to set up an eBay alert or something. I found my copy used on am*z*n but idk if they have the ability to set up alerts. Wish I could help more!

Why is it not enough to sit and look at beauty On a night like this? The trees are black against the pallid sky, Long shadow hills stretch down to the silver sea,— Why is it not enough, why is it not enough To watch the clouds that wander, wander ceaselessly Across the thin white wraith of the moon? Why must I want to wander, too?
