Jean-Jacques who is utterly enamoured with absolutely everything about you, and how could he not be? He can relate relatively well to your shyness, and it's a topic that certainly makes him feel more connected to you, like you two relate in some experiences. Despite being rather shy, you've opened up beautifully to him and so has he to you; really, he's told you more about himself than he has anyone ever before. He's convinced you know his soul in and out, as he does yours. 

Jean-Jacques who is in love with how sweet and caring you are, with your gentle smile and with how you manage to get along with literally everyone. He's convinced it's some magical skill of yours, given how he's never before seen anyone be quite as good at it as you. 

Jean-Jacques who eventually realises that, unfortunately, this is exactly where the problem lies — the fact that you get along well with literally everyone is as much of a blessing as it is a curse, given how, this way, you're not purely his at all times.

🍒What genres/tropes do you find yourself using most often?

My two favorite genres to write, as if it isn't obvious xD, Are adventure and Horror. For tropes, if these are tropes, I love Bitchy Banter, Strong Women Kicking Ass, Men Having a #BadTime, and Manly Men Doing Manly Things. I really can't get enough and although I should probably branch out more, I just love these so much I want to wallow in them over and over xD.

🥝Who are your literary influences, and have they shaped your own writing?

In terms of classics, I love Jane Austen and her banter and color, Alexandre Dumas for adventure and his epic thematics and penchant for revenge, and Poe for all things lovely, dark, and vibey.

For modern writers, my all time favorite is Wilbur Smith and honestly, if I could write like him, I would love it. That's my goal in life, truly. I'm enjoying Evie Dunmore at present. Crichton and Preston/Child are also favorites.

🍔What's a headcanon that hasn't made it into a published fic yet?

Flip is truly god awful in the kitchen. He has been almost permanently banned, with a few narrow exceptions. He does quite a good job at pancakes. The nickname 'Flip' comes from him flipping pancakes like a show off as a young fool and splattering himself with grease, thereby getting a round pockmark looking scar on his chest that he likes to lead people to believe is a bullet wound.

However, he is allowed to have a grill. Outside. Where the risk of burning the house down drops from extreme to moderate. He can grill steaks like a bad ass. He deadpans that it's part of some primal male instinct that involves bloodlust and hunting and fire. Or some horseshit along those lines. His culinary skills begin and end at grilling meats. Occasionally, he can add cheese to a burger without incident, but he knows better than to venture further out than that. It can't be denied that his steaks and burgers are to die for. Or as he puts to you when it's just the two of you, they're good enough to orgasm for, and he will make sure you do. When he really wants to wine and dine you, he will cook in just his jeans with his tits out for your viewing pleasure. When he's feeling funny, he will wear a frilly apron over his jeans and bare chest and let you laugh at him.

In my canon, Nicholas Mills is an ex fighter pilot. He was a bad boy growing up, the rebellious sort who wouldn't cut his hair or go to church or respect authority simply because it was authority. This disagreement came to blows several times with his father. Mills never struck the old man back, but it was sufficient provocation that he could restrain his father even with a broken nose to ship him off to the military to get his ass straightened out. Mills hated it, every second. He wasn't suited to the authority and the rules. But all that stayed on the ground when he took off in a jet. The freedom he felt from the first time he climbed into the cockpit was euphoric. He put up with the rules and the authority and the bullshit, even the horrible haircut, just so he could feel that freedom, chase the high that only came with flying.

After leaving the military and a nasty divorce after that, Mills was thoroughly sick of rules and regulations and authority and fucking people in general. He was smart enough to keep a separate bank account and stash away enough money to buy a plane of his own. You could say Mills skipped town. Skipped the country actually. All the way to Northern British Columbia. Someplace he can be left alone and unbothered, living the life he wants. He makes a surprisingly good living as a bush pilot, running supplies out to folks even more remote than him and flying out sportsman and outdoorsmen into the wilderness, and the occasional rescue job.

Never in a million years did Mills expect to meet a knockout like you out on one of these runs, his dream girl. And now, he's the only man who has a chance in hell of getting you both out of the wilderness alive.

I may have a fic like this in the works...

Jacques is an avid reader. He's educated and quite an intellectual, although he likes to downplay that arrow in his quiver. It pays to be underestimated. He enjoys poetry most of all and he's more of a sucker for flowery prose and romantic ideation than he openly admits. When he gets caught, he blames his interest in poetry as a necessary skill developed to get under women's skirts.

Once he's close enough to let his guard down, he will reveal his favorites and tell you how you've been in every line he's ever read. He loves to read to you. In the beginning, this was a way to seduce you into bed. It has since become his way to lull you to sleep when you're already in bed or to help you unwind while sprawled out by the fire.

He will read your favorite books with you or begin a new one together that you chose just to share the experience with you. It goes without saying that whenever you get inspired by a particular scene, Jacques is not only happy but eager and enthusiastic to act it out with you. He will invariably put the male characters to shame.

Vanitas: Soft, little rapid ones, 'iHh'tchiew! hiH'tchhue!' and he is so. mad about it. Will often try to stifle so no one hears them, orrrr add a yell/growl to try and unsuccessfully make them sound more 'fitting'. Truth is, they fit him better than he'd ever admit~

Noe: Harsh and (fairly) Loud, and it surprises literally everyone, Vanitas most of all (despite hearing it however many times now). Think something like, 'hHRZShh'ieh! ah'yieASHhuh!' You'd think someone this soft-spoken and sweet would have a dainty little sound, but nope~

Jean and Jeremy are both trans! Jeremy is ftm transgender and Jean is a he/they demiguy

I personally think Jean doesn't care much for labels

He mostly just says he isn't straight but if someone asked him what he identifies as he'd just tell em to fuck off since it's none of their business

Jeremy never asks because he respects Jean's boundaries, but Jean does talk to him about it sometimes

Jean is actually a really good dancer! Jeremy,,, not so much

One night Jeremy is going on a date with someone else and they agreed to go to some silly dancing competition and Jean is watching Jeremy try to dance and he just

So Jean gets up, puts on some music and teaches Jeremy how to dance. Jeremy tries his best to actually learn, but being so close to Jean is very distracting. Jeremy might step on his toes once or twice, but Jean just laughs a little whenever Jeremy apologises

Jeremy has an alright date, but he keeps thinking about a certain French guy back at the dorms

Jean actually loves driving! Though he didn't do much of it back at the ravens unless if it was absolutely necessary (groceries, going to class, picking up Neil that one time)

But when he is at USC there are so many nights where he just... lays awake staring at the ceiling because sometimes its hard to sleep

sometimes its hard to do anything

and the darkness is smothering him, making it impossible to breathe

and every noise around him could be Riko

And then suddenly Jeremy turns on a light and asks Jean if he wants to go for a drive?

And Jean says yes, because he has to get out

he has to breathe

he has to leave

He lets Jeremy drive most of the time at first, but eventually Jeremy realises Jean prefers to drive

They don't really talk much, but Jean likes the company. He likes clearing his head and having Jeremy with him.

You could consider the following a little "follow-up", as I've wanted to post a happier headcanon for the main french keeper. Just to avoid making it all so grim 🥴

The Razzano have bunnies as pets. An entire family of them. 🐇

They have their own special place on the garden, where the bunnies can jump and snuggle as much as they can. However of course, sometimes curiosity makes them go "off-limits", and enter their owner's home. If not stopped early, things will end mostly on a distasteful surprise... But at least, everybody in the family takes great care of them, specially Émile. So much so, that he can genuinely recognize and name every single one of them, even if they all look pretty similar to another.

When Ladji started to visit more often Émile's home post-FFI, he soon became aware of the jumping fluffballs, but he paid no attention to them. Pets are cute, but he'd rather not mess with something he never had. That was until one day, where Émile got the fantastic idea of begging Ladji to draw one of his bunnies. It was quite a... New experience for the painter, granted his main weakness on art are animals. When he draws people he'll manage to catch on even the smallest detail, but when he draws another living species... He feels ashamed of the end result. But at least in that occassion Émile seemed very happy with that drawing, so... Not everything was bad.

To this day Ladji still struggles with animals, and is not that interested much on studying them. But whenever he's at the Razzano's garden and a bunny is nearby, he might often try and sketch it. All these studies end up on Émile's hands soon enough... They make up for adorable gifts.

Two add-ons:

1- ...Because of these experiences, now everytime Ladji sees anything bunny related he'll always think about Émile. Always.

2- The bunnies' names are: Olivier, Luc, Rene, Georges, Louis, Jacques, Henri, Robert, Auguste, Alexandre, Matthieu, AND Gaspar. Yeah. Not even his older siblings understand how Émile is able to remember which bunny is which.

Idea for a story: Honestly I don't know? I think VnC is still far from being over so there are still a lot of things that could happen. This story is very unpredictable anyway. That said, I want to see Jeanne hanging out casually with Chloe and Jean-Jacques again...I just wanna see them happy together again.

Unpopular opinion: I don't know, I'm not into the fandom and don't engage with them.

Favorite relationship: I like VaniJeanne, but I also like DomiJeanne!

Favorite headcanon: Everyone in VnC is bi/pan unless specified otherwise, that includes Jeanne too. This is a headcanon that I see every now and then in the tag and my favorite so far to the point I apply it to other series other than VnC as well lol.

Emi (Mob Psycho 100)

First impression: She's so cute!!

Impression now: My favorite girl in MP100, surpassing Tome and Tsubomi. She may not get to appear much, but her character arc singlehandedly blew me away (and the anime made it much better). I love her.

Favorite moment: After the gorgeous scene of Mob reassembling her novel, she went to make a story inspired by Mob and that just made me soooo happy :")

Idea for a story: There really isn't a whole lot of room for her character, is it? I want her to be more involved in the story, but MP100 is not a story about her and she's, unfortunately, probably not that relevant in Mob's life as much as I wanted her to be. My idea is that I think I just want Emi and Mob to meet again and talk casually like friends. I know, I know they did talk briefly in S3EP3, but what I mean is after the end. I want Emi and Mob to meet again, then Emi realized how much Mob has changed compared to when they met for the first time, then they become good friends with no hard feelings. May be an opportunity for Emi to sort out her feelings for Mob as well, whether what she feels for him is romantic or platonic.

Unpopular opinion: There really isn't much discussion about her, so I haven't seen anything that causes me to think of something unpopular. I think if I have to state a general annoyance of how the fandom treats her, is that she's often shoved aside in favor of another character and more popular ship, but that doesn't really count.

Favorite relationship: MobEmi, whether it's romantic or platonic. I also have been thinking about Tsubomi/Emi a lot too.

Favorite headcanon: Tbh I very rarely adapt headcanons from fandoms unless it's something I really really like, but if there's one headcanon of Emi that falls into such category, then it'll be Emi recognizing tropes and genres and all that stuff because she's a writer. So if she sees 100% Courage Mob, Emi is like "why are you suddenly like a manga protagonist?!". It's a headcanon made by one of my favorite artists in the past, but it's still very funny to me.

Mana Inuyama (Gegege no Kitaro 2018)

Impression now: I LOVE HER SO MUCH!! MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER I WILL DIE FOR YOU!!

Favorite moment: Honestly Mana is such a great character, a lot of her moments are just amazing. I think I like her moments in EP20 (it's also one of the best episodes in the GGGnK), EP66, The Final Arc, and...her role in the entire Nanashi Arc (the first season). The Nanashi Arc in particular still stands out for me, god that was a rollercoaster. And in the final arc where she willingly sacrificed her memories for Kitaro? I cried so hard at that part. I love her, I'm so glad she's very well-developed and gets to play a lot of active roles in the plot.

Idea for a story: Gegege no Kitaro (2018) already feels like such a complete story, with a perfect feel-good ending too, so I'm not sure if I have any idea for it. I think I want an episode entirely dedicated to them hanging out again in a pure fluff episode, a similar vibe to EP94, explaining the photograph sent on the end screen of the final episode. That would be great, I just want to see the main 2018 trio be together and happy.

Unpopular opinion: I...don't know? I'm not too engaged with the fandom, so I have no unpopular opinion of her.

Favorite relationship: Kitaro-Mana-Neko Musume, they are a set do not separate!!

Favorite headcanon: It's less of a headcanon and more of a just little idea, but since Mana and Neko Musume are very well-versed in "modernity", I like the idea of them teaching all kinds of modern languages and slangs to Kitaro. Kitaro doesn't like it at all.
