Jonathan being physically and verbally affectionate toward Argyle in a platonic way because he’s trying to be an ally to Will and show him that it’s okay for guys to be affectionate toward each other and that he doesn’t have to be constantly terrified that people will immediately know what he is if he lets himself show affection toward his crush and that Hopper won’t flip his shit on Jonathan for it when he sees it happening so Will doesn’t have to worry about Hopper seeing him hug Mike for a little too long and out of nowhere flipping the switch and pulling a Lonnie
And that goes according to plan just fine with lots of long hugs and arms around each other’s shoulders and playing with each other’s hair and “I love you, man”s and sitting much closer together than is strictly necessary and holding hands while Jonathan leads Argyle around and nicknames and talking about how much they appreciate each other and how much the other means to them and Jonathan is enjoying it and obviously Argyle is too, but then Argyle figures the national progression of whatever’s going on is to kiss Jonathan and Jonathan immediately is like oh maybe I’m more than just an ally and maybe this is more than platonic behaviour and seamlessly transitions into I guess I’m dating Argyle now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And Will still gets to see the way his family reacts to that when Jonathan and Argyle are very obviously an item and he doesn’t have to worry in the back of his mind about how they would react if they knew that Lonnie had been right about him all along for sure

On a group vacation, Hopper would be like “Okay everyone, you know the drill. Boys and girls in separate rooms.”
And Joyce would watch as Will and Mike, Eddie and Steve, Robin and Nancy, and Jonathan and Argyle all giggle and walk off. Max would try to sneak off with Lucas but she isn’t subtle at all.
Joyce would just shake her head and say, “No, no, no. Nancy, El, Max, and Will in one room. Steve, Robin, and Jonathan together. Then, Eddie, Argyle, Lucas, Dustin, and Mike. No protesting.”
Hopper would send Joyce a look as everyone starts to groan, and Joyce would whisper, “Just trust me.”

There's only one 100% straight person in Stranger Things and that's Hopper.
No, I won't be taking criticism on this.
(but he is definitely an ally and protects everybody else)

I just had a flash of a thought of Argyle being the most competitive motherfucker on the planet and now I’m snort laughing in bed.
None of the rest of the spicy six will play games with him anymore because he flipped a table once during a game of Clue. He lit a match and dropped into onto the monopoly board. Any mention of the word UNO is met with dark glares. Eddie ducks for cover if he even hears the phrase “Go fish”.

The One Where Everybody Finds Out (About Eddie and Steve)
Jonathan
There had been some weird things happening under Jonathan's nose, he had noticed them at the back of his mind but, being a chill and high dude most of the time, he didn't think anything weird of it.
Yeah, Steve was spending a lot more time at his and Eddie's place, Eddie talked a lot more about Steve and they both were dating someone that hadn't been introduced to their friend group yet, but Jonathan just shrugged and accepted them as facts.
Then he had found a strange amount of hair products in their shared bathroom and casually mentioned it to Eddie, who basically freaked out on him and shrieked "what if I care about my curls? are you the bathroom police?" and yeah, Jonathan was chill and all, but that was fucking weird.
A while later, at Steve and Robin's place, Jonathan was able to put the pieces together.
«Robin, did you take my hair products? I can't find them anywhere»
«Why would I have them? plus, didn't you take them to your mysterious girlfriend's place last night? maybe you left them there.»
Jonathan's shocked expression as he looked back and forth between Eddie and Steve was enough to tell that he knew.
Eddie had to do some damage control, fast.
«Roomie, can I talk to you for a second?»
Nancy
Nancy loves Robin, she really does. That doesn't mean she can't be mad at her for being late.
«I'm sorry Nance, she's probably stuck in traffic. I got stuff to do but you can wait here of course!» Steve gave her one more apologetic smile and then disappeared into his bedroom.
Nancy had tried to stay put and pass the time by reading a magazine, but she was so mad she couldn't help but pick up the phone to try and reach out to Robin, see if at least she had left work.
She didn't expect at all to hear Steve's private conversation.
«I miss you too. I'll sneak out in a few hours, I'll tell Robin I'm doing laundry.»
And surely she didn't expect to hear Eddie say «laundry? is that my new nickname?»
She dropped the phone, shocked. Eddie and Steve? Eddie and Steve?
She needed to tell someone, anyone. As she rushed out of the apartment, she almost collided with Jonathan, who was running out of his apartment across the hall.
«Jonathan, great! I have a secret I need to share-»
«No! No secrets please, I have way too many and I hate keeping them!»
Nancy eyed him, suspiciously «what if I know what you know?»
«No, that’s not possible.»
«So, you didn’t happen to hear Eddie’s phone call just know?»
Jonathan looked at her with a mixture of relief and shock, he pointed at her «You know!»
«And you know??» she replied, «since when?»
«Since forever dude! They’ve been driving me crazy.»
Robin
Argyle’s move to the city was just a few weeks away and he and Jonathan had yet to find a place that would be good for the both of them. Eddie wouldn’t have minded adding Argyle to the lease but the apartment wasn’t big enough for three people -and it was proven by Argyle living there for the days he was supposed to do apartment hunting-, so the only option was to look for a new place.
Thankfully a nice apartment across from their building had been opened for renting. The best part? Steve and Robin’s place was clearly visible from the living room. A feature that Robin would come to regret that day.
Jonathan was busy at work, so she and Nancy offered to accompany Argyle for the house tour. He fell in love with the place as soon as he entered.
As he was checking out the bedrooms and Nancy the bathroom, Robin looked out of the living room window.
«Oh my God, I see Steve and Eddie, hi guys!!» she waved at them excitedly, but the happiness died quickly as they started kissing and taking each other’s clothes off.
«oh my god oh my god OH MY GOD!!! Eddie and Steve? Eddie and Steve!! Oh my God Eddie and Steve!!» she was screaming and couldn't stop looking at her best friend making out with a guy, with Eddie of all people.
Nancy had rushed back as she heard her screams and she was panicking too.
«Nancy! It's Eddie and Steve!! Oh my God, Eddie and Steve!! Why am I still looking?» she screamed again as Eddie pushed Steve against the window glass, giving them a perfect view of Steve's naked back.
«oh shit, my eyes!! MY EYES!!» she kept screaming as she turned around.
«Robin, you have to shut up!» Nancy seemed to be panicked too, but for very different reasons.
«But Eddie and Steve-»
«I know! I've known for a while!!» she sounded exasperated.
«You know??»
«Yes, I know! And Jonathan knows but Argyle doesn't so you have to shut up!»
Robin had no idea how she could pretend she did not just witness her best friend getting busy with one of their closest friends, a guy.
Argyle emerged from the second bedroom «have you guys been screaming? is something happening outside?» he made a step towards the window and Robin screamed again.
«We're... just so happy you might get this apartment!» Robin lied and started jumping and screaming her fake excitement, Nancy could do nothing but join her.
Argyle smiled wildly at them and joined the jumps and the screams.
Argyle
Jonathan hated keeping secrets from Argyle. Actually, there were no secrets kept between them, except this one. But Eddie and Steve had begged him to tell no one, so there wasn't much of a choice.
After Nancy and Robin had found out, he was relieved because, finally, he would be able to tell Argyle.
Except that the girls, especially Robin, weren't too happy about this secret and decided to mess with their unaware friends.
«I can't believe you forced Nancy to flirt with Eddie,» Jonathan said, looking at Nancy as she twirled a strand of her hair flirtatiously. He couldn't see Eddie's face from where he was sitting but there was no doubt he was shocked.
«I didn't force her to do nothing! She's in with the plan. Listen, They've been lying to us, Steve has been lying to me, for months now. We're just having a little fun! Eddie will freak out, admit their fling and that's it» Robin made it sound so easy he hoped she was right.
----
It wasn't easy at all, Jonathan thought, under Steve and Eddie's inquisitive looks.
Nancy had come onto Eddie too strong -she had felt his bicep and grabbed his ass for crying it out loud- and that resulted in them guessing she knew about their thing.
Jonathan had, unfortunately, let slip out that Robin also knew.
«Robin knows too?» Steve sounded sad as he asked, but then the sadness turned quickly to anger «I can't believe that little shit! She's messing with us? fuck no, we're messing with them!»
As Steve and Eddie were coming up with a counter-plan, Jonathan projected himself to two weeks in the future, when he and Argyle will finally be living together, hopefully with no secrets involved.
----
Nancy put the phone down, looking distraught.
«Eddie just asked me to come over and feel his bicep and more! I can't believe he would cheat on Steve!»
«I don't believe it either» Robin turned to Jonathan, who was very busy looking at his shoes.
«Jonathan, do they know that we know?» he couldn't say anything back which was enough for the girls.
«I can't believe they're messing with us!»
«Well, they don't know that we know they know we know!» Robin exclaimed, «call Eddie back and set the date, we're going to war.»
----
Nancy hadn't planned to go that far with the messing around.
But now there she was, inside Eddie and Jonathan’s apartment, pretending to be on a date.
It's clear that they both know what it's going on, that they're impossibly uncomfortable with it and that they're too competitive to drop the act.
After an awkward small talk, Eddie attacks «should we move this to the bedroom?»
«Really?» Nancy is caught by the surprise but quickly recovers «I mean, first I wanna take off all my clothes and have you rub lotion all on me.»
Her counterattack is pretty effective, Eddie looks horrified as he replies with «sounds great, let me go grab that lotion» before running into the bathroom. Nancy thinks she has won until Eddie comes back with a lotion in his hands.
He still looks extremely uncomfortable but he smiles and says «wow, I'm so happy we're gonna have all the sex!»
«You should be...» she quickly thinks of something that could make him break character «I'm very... bendy?»
Eddie makes a face and Nancy can't blame him. She hopes he will give up soon.
«I'm gonna kiss you now!» she says, almost threatening.
«Not if I kiss you first!» he replies, slowly coming closer to her.
They take their time placing their hands on each other, still leaving a ton of space between them, and there's nothing left for them but to kiss. They go for a peck, the unsexiest most awkward kiss they both had in their life.
Eddie pulls away first «okay okay stop! you win!! I can't have sex with you!»
Nancy is ready to celebrate, she just needs Eddie to admit he's sleeping with Steve «and why not?» she grins.
«Because I'm in love with Steve!»
«You what??»
Steve comes out of the bathroom, Robin and Jonathan get in from the front door, they all heard him loud and clear.
«That's right, you little shits!» he points at Nancy, Robin, and Jonathan «I love» he points at himself «him!» then points at Steve.
He repeats it a couple of times «I. Love. Him. I. Love Him. I. Lo-» Steve forces him to stop by grabbing him by his vest and kissing him.
«I love you too,» he says, grinning at him.
«Oh my God, you guys!!! I thought you were just doing it, I didn't know you were in love!» Robin exclaimed, running towards them to hug them both.
«Now I can tell Argyle when he comes next week right? Everybody knows!» Jonathan looks relieved.
«Actually, the kids are coming here the same day and Dustin doesn't know yet, so we would appreciate it if you kept the secret...»
Jonathan glares at them «I'm telling him over the phone, right now.»
After a quick phone call to California, it turns out that Argyle already knew.
«Yeah babe, haven’t they been together since we went to London? I thought everybody knew.»
Jonathan bangs his head against the wall.
BONUS
Dustin:
«Guys! this place is so cool!» Will is saying as they're going around Argyle and Jonathan’s new apartment. They seemed all impressed as they inspect the place.
«Dude, I can see Steve’s place from here, so cool!» Dustin says looking out the window.
Then he spots Steve and Eddie kissing in front of the window.
«No… what are they doing? My brother and my DM? MY BROTHER AND MY DM? MY BROTHER IS FUCKING MY DM?»
As Dustin is screaming bloody murder, Argyle and Jonathan agree to buy Steve some curtains for Christmas.

Argyle and Jonathan talk on the phone almost every day after the Byers move back to Hawkins
They talk more often than Jonathan talked to Nancy and are better at keeping in touch long-distance, but that’s really more a testament to Argyle’s dedication than anything else
Jonathan expects their friendship to drift away the longer he’s gone, but Argyle’s calling him all the time… Slow shift at work? Better call Jonathan and catch him up on what’s been going on in his life (and get the second hand scoop about people in Hawkins from Jonathan when he runs out of new things to tell him about because it’s only been 20 hours since their last phone call)… Argyle has very important high thoughts that are as deep as they are urgent to share? Better call Jonathan and share every last one of them that exact moment… Someone insults pineapple on pizza? You can bet Jonathan’s going to hear about it
The only problem is Argyle keeps forgetting about the time difference between California and Indiana so he regularly calls when it’s not that late in California, but it’s 3 hours later for the Byers
When Joyce is the one to answer the phone, she tries to politely tell him that it’s nice that he and Jonathan are still so close but maybe he could call back in the morning and try to keep his calls to earlier in the day from now on and Argyle always promises will do, Mrs. B only to forget all over again within a few days so she tries to work on getting Jonathan to convince him to call at more reasonable hours instead
When Will answers the phone, he rolls his eyes at how often he’s calling (while he’s also a little jealous that Jonathan is getting way more calls from Argyle now than he got from all his friends combined while they were in California) but he listens for a little bit as Argyle excitedly jabbers away at him and asks him questions until Will decides it’s getting annoying and either hands the phone over to Jonathan (or if it’s too late, he doesn’t listen to him at all and just says to call back tomorrow and hangs up before Argyle had a chance to respond)
El doesn’t answer the phone, but she’s not so bothered. She thinks it’s nice that Argyle calls so much and doesn’t see why Will rolls his eyes about it so often
When Jonathan answers, he stretches the phone cord as far away from the bedrooms as he can and stays up talking with Argyle with his voice low to try not to wake anyone else up
But Hopper? Hopper cannot stand losing sleep because some idiot from California can’t remember that it’s 2 in the morning for them (and honestly why is he trying to call to talk for an hour and a half at 11 pm his time anyway???) Every time, he forces his exhausted ass out of bed, whether he’s the first to the phone or not because it could be official police business and there could be a crime scene he’s needed at or some other kind of emergency putting them all in danger, but nope it’s just Argyle calling to catch up again
Hopper grumbles about it to Joyce when he gets back to bed and ends up unintentionally making sure that she’s just as awake now as he is with his tired bitching and Joyce is getting a bit fed up with it too, but she plays devil’s advocate and says I know the times he calls aren’t always great, but I don’t know. I think it’s kind of sweet he wants to keep in touch so much. It’s nice that they catch up on everything going on, even while they’re living so far away and Hopper gets back in bed as he grumbles how much could they possibly have to catch up on? They talked for hours two days ago
Argyle unintentionally and unknowingly becomes near Mike Wheeler levels of annoying to Hopper and Hopper grumbles nearly daily about how the phone line is always busy and he can’t get any consistent kind of sleep to save his life and could Jonathan please tell his friend to stop calling so late at night
From the moment it becomes clear that the long (and often late night) phone calls are going to be such a regular thing, Hopper is a little passive aggressive and huffy whenever he’s the one who answers the phone, but Argyle doesn’t mind and just brushes it off
It takes until one night when Hopper’s particularly sleep-deprived and grumpy and he gets to the phone first and full on yells into it that the time zones aren’t that hard to remember and that if he’s going to call, he can’t do it after 8 pm his time for Argyle to finally stop calling so late (but that doesn’t stop him from calling at a reasonable hour and him and Jonathan staying up talking until an unreasonable hour)

There's discussion of ronance under the cut! so if that's not your thing maybe skip this and the next part :)
part 1 - part 2 - part 3 - part 4 - part 5 - part 6 - part 7 - part 8
The sunset finds Steve sitting on a log, methodically breaking apart graham crackers and chocolate bars on top of a cooler.
Jonathan and Argyle are rolling joints beside him, sitting on a separate log and making light conversation with him.
Eddie's building a fire in front of them, a few feet away, just out of earshot. Steve loses the thread of conversation every now and then because he keeps getting distracted by Eddie's arms.
Some crackers and chocolate bars are unevenly split too. It's Eddie's fault that they're all wonky.
The taller boy (he will not let Steve forget this) is splitting a few dry logs into smaller ones using the cabin's axe.
He found and donned some leather work gloves, his tattoos shift as his arms flex, there are flashes of armpit hair every couple of swings, and there's sweat slowly dripping down his forehead.
Steve's doing his absolute best not to stare but it's very difficult.
When Eddie swipes the sweat off his brow and strips the gloves to bring out his pocket knife, Steve gets a coughing fit that Argyle has to bring him out of by clapping his back.
"Whoa there man, are you okay?" Argyle asks him,
Steve just franticaly nods as Jonathan snickers beside them.
Just as Eddie settles down in a crouch and starts shaving wood off the sides of the smaller logs, the girls come back from their walk.
Nancy walks to Eddie, offers a handful of dry pinecones and sets about arranging the logs.
Jonathan and Argyle announce they need popcorn and go back to the cabin to make some.
Robin has something trapped inside her hands.
She walks towards Steve, stands behind him and leans down to place her arms around his neck. Her hands remain closed, so that whatever is between them is now right in front of Steve's face.
"Guess what I got" she says, leaning her chin on top of Steve's head.
"That better not be a skunk, Bobbie"
Robin giggles "Have your ever seen a skunk, dingus? My hands are tiny!"
"A baby skunk, then" Steve amends, tone whiny.
Robin snorts, "Shut up. Look,"
As she opens her hands a tiny light shines out of them. Steve gasps.
"Hi!" he says, waving his index finger at the firefly,
"His name's Harold," Robin supplies.
"What? That sucks" Steve accuses, trying to look up at her, but only jostling her head a bit.
Robin gasps, "It's a perfectly good name for a firefly!" she protests, digging her chin atop his head.
Steve ducks his head and half turns in her arms, gives her a look and then turns back.
"How are the wife and kids, Harold?" he asks the bug,
Robin doesn't miss a beat, "He's gay, Steve. You should know better",
Steve can't help but laugh loudly at that.
Robin rushes to close her hands back up,
"Stop! you're scaring him!" she accuses, though there's a smile on her face.
Steve sobers up and puts down the two cracker halves in his hands to pry Robin's hands open again,
"Harold, I sincerely apologize." he offers in a gravely tone.
The bug turns around in Robin's hands.
"I think that means I'm forgiven" Steve says, looking up at her.
Robin chuckles and gently places the bug on top of Steve's left knee, moving to sit beside him.
Steve smiles at Harold before looking at her from the side,
"You having fun?" Steve checks in,
Robin smiles at him, throws her right arm around him and leans her chin against his shoulder.
"I am!" she answers "How about you?" she asks in return, half hugging him.
Steve presses his cheek against her in appreciation, just for a moment before he answers,
"Yeah, I'm having fun too" he smiles,
"Good. I wasn't lying earlier, when I said that suits you" Robin points out, drawing back without letting go of him, to look up at Eddie's bandana still on his hair.
Steve feels his cheeks start to burn.
"Shutup." he mutters defensively "he's-" Steve turns to look at Eddie, who's now fanning the flames of the fire he started and fanning himself every couple of seconds, making the few strands of hair that fell from his bun flap about wildly.
Steve can't help the smile on his face.
"Great. He's just great" he says honestly, feeling a little in awe of just how much he really likes Eddie.
Robin lets go of him only to jab her elbow in his ribs,
"See!" she says "I knew you had to make a move!"
"You were right." Steve concedes, "Not that I'm- I just mean he didn't seem put-off or anything when I tried flirting a little,"
"Of course he didn't! Steve!!" she protests,
"I know. I know," Steve says, reminded of the many times they've discussed his insecurities.
He relays his conversation with Jonathan then, and she listens, pointing out that putting it all together definitely makes it clear why Eddie hadn't made a move yet, and how Steve definitely has a chance.
"Yeah. I hope so," Steve says,
Robin rolls her eyes at his cautiousness and watches Harold finally fly away. Her eyes fall on Nancy, across from them.
Steve moves his eyes away to finish breaking off the last couple of crackers from the bunch.
Steve can admit he felt a pang of jealousy the first time he noticed his best friend laughing too hard at something Nancy said, but he quickly realized he was jealous of Nancy, he was worried she'd take Robin from him. An irrational fear that he also went through with Eddie, when he and Robin got close.
Whatever attempt Steve made at reviving the spark between him and Nancy in the upside down, got flipped right side up as soon as they were out of that hellish time.
Which was fortunate, because Nancy was still in a relationship back then, and Steve actually didn't feel like trying to woo the girl that broke his heart years ago.
Not to mention, they were different people now.
And he could admit now that he had freaked out. He'd seen the prettiest boy he'd ever known smirking at him and calling him metal and Steve had felt himself fall violently, far quicker than he was ready to.
So he'd grabbed on to whatever solid ground he could find, and he didn't have much of that.
It was just stupid. They hadn't really talked about it but Nancy had dropped by Eddie's room at the hospital a couple of times, she'd seen how devastated Steve was and she was never dumb. Steve could see the realization on her and luckily, the relief too.
Slowyly but surely they've arrived back to a place where Steve is glad to have her in his life again. He wouldn't hesitate to have dinner with her any day now, and every one of their friends know what they have is purely friendship.
So when he noticed her half-flirting with Robin at their job again, Steve tried to communicate to her that same understanding and relief with the same look.
And Nancy seemed like she got it.
Steve's fairly certain she and Robin would be good together, he's told Robin as much, but she disagrees, denied that she was attracted to their friend at first, and now refuses to give them a shot.
When he looks back up Robin's still looking at her, her cheeks on the verge of a smile.
Steve, done with his task, wipes his hands on his jeans.
"Are you sure there's nothing there?" Steve asks softly, for maybe the fifth time since Robin and Nancy met.
Looking back at that time now, with his own feelings out of the way, Steve can see clear as day, that Robin was into her from the start.
Robin looks at him now, and her face falls into the same caught look it always does when this comes up. She sighs,
"Are you sure you wanna ask me that?" she counters
"Robbie!"
"Dingus!"
"I want you to be happy," Steve tries,
"Even if it means I make a move on your ex?" she asks, her voice bitter,
"She's my friend too, Robs!" he protests,
"She broke your heart, Steve,"
"Years ago! And-"
"Not that many," Robin interrupts,
"And!" Steve emphasizes, "We're different people now,"
"You were practically offering her six babies not a year and a half ago," Robin points out,
"And you and I both agreed that that was a little bit crazy of me and a clear lapse in my judgement." Steve reminds her, "She doesn't want that. And I don't want that with her. I don't want anything with her beyond friendship and you know it,"
Robin doesn't look convinced.
"I don't care what you say. It would be weird." she says,
"Not for me, if that's what you're implying," Steve tells her,
"You've said that about other things when you did mind!" Robin accuses,
"And you've called me out on it!" Steve counters, "And I'm working on not doing that anymore. And it's not what I'm doing now!"
"I'm not gonna put my happiness before yours," Robin tells him,
Steve turns to her fully, straddling the log between them,
"I'm not asking you to do that, Robbie. I'm asking you not to put MY happiness before yours." he says, "Not even!" he amends, "I'm asking you not to put my comfort before your happiness."
Robin grimaces.
"What if you do mind? Down the line?" she asks,
"You can't base your decisions on hypotheticals." Steve protests, growing impatient, "And especially not on hypotheticals about my feelings, Rob!"
"Don't be an asshole. You're important to me!" she protests,
Steve sighs.
He reaches out and takes one of Robins hands in his own.
"And you're just as important to me," he tells her, "but i don't need you to protect me Robin. I'm not made of glass." he looks into her eyes as he goes on, "Yeah, maybe I'll be uncomfortable at some point, but I've been uncomfortable before and I'll be uncomfortable in the future,"
"I don't wanna be the cause of that," Robin says quietly, squeezing Steve's heart.
She moves to stradle the log too, facing Steve.
Steve offers her a soft smile.
"I know." he says, rubbing her knuckles in an attempt to reassure her, "You wouldn't be. Even if I saw you and Nance happy together and it made me uncomfortable, it wouldn't be because you decided to be with her, or because you're happy with her, Robs. It would be because she's my ex and she broke my heart. That's not on you,"
Robin looks like she wants to say something else but then changes her mind.
"It would be weird," she insists half-heartedly.
Steve understands what she doesn't say,  that she wants him to let it go.
"Okay." He concedes, taking her other hand and lacing their fingers. "Fine then. I won't bring it up again. I just ask that you don't- Don't think of me as this, this responsibility, okay? I don't wanna be that, I wanna be your best friend." he says, tugging on her hands a bit.
"Idiot." She calls him with a hesitant smile, clearly still awkward with displays of affection.
Steve chuckles. She tugs his hands towards her,
"I love you" she says.
It's not lost on Steve how this requires effort from her. He brings their hands to his lips and kisses the back of her palms, one and then the other, making her giggle.
"And I love you," Steve tells her, he untangles their hands and returns to his previous position, reaching for the big bag of marshmallows sitting next to the cooler.
"Now help me roast these," he requests, opening the bag, "this is as far as I came when I was little"
"Oh, did you have a maid that roasted your marshmallows growing up?"
"I hate youuuuuuu" Steve complains, and throws a marshmallow at her head.

I know for a fact Johnathan has taken photos of Argyle and made them into moodboards and collages under the excuse it was for school and practice reasons.
Argyle knows Johnathan has a big gay crush on him but is waiting to see the moment Johnathan realizes.

Jonathan always hooks his leg around one of Argyle's whenever they are sitting side by side. It's a comfort thing. He just sneaks his foot in between both of Argyle's, still in the middle of conversation with someone else, or focused on his food - whatever it is they might be doing. Argyle presses their knees together every time in a silent Hello. I'm here. I've got you, dude.
