Trainer Bakugou who you're a little terrified of the first day you're paired with him. when asking for a trainer at the gym, you had expected the friendly redhead who always looked so sweet and encouraging and cut as hell. you weren't expecting his grumpy looking blond counterpart, who was all glares and shouts for his clients to keep pushing themselves.

you were hesitant at first, before you quickly realized that it was all a ruse, for the most part. he pushed those who needed that extra encouragement, but was more lenient to people like you who simply wanted a professionals guidance. so, after a few weeks, you liked him for the most part, and his looks damn sure made it easier to cozy up to the big guy.

the only issue you've been having with Bakugou though are the...coregasms, as you've seen them been named on social media, that you keep experiencing. the first time, you weren't sure what it was, why your stomach and pelvis kept tightening up. you couldn't have...climaxed, or anything. you hadn't even been touched!

but, as the weeks go by, and the workouts get more strenuous, they've become harder and harder to subside and ignore, and so had Bakugou's commands to keep going when you suddenly stopped. you can only lie and say its cramps so many times before he realizes that something is up.

you're midway through a good morning, when that familiar feeling starts tightening in the pit of your gut. you clench your eyes shut, shaking your head a little, as if you could ward off the impending feeling. bakugou notices though, frowning at your almost pained expression in the mirror, walking up behind you to stop you as you pull yourself back up. his hands are on your waist, and as you come up, you feel his bulge glide over the curve of your ass, and something in you snaps.

you gasp, buckling over, one hand on your knee as the other reaches back for bakugou's hand to keep you up as your thighs shake. you can feel yourself spasming, clenching and unclenching around nothing, secretly wishing you had something that could fill you up, something that you felt throb against you as bakugou leaned over your form.

"Another coregasm, huh?" he asks you lowly, his lips brushing your ear as you bite your bottom lip to hold back your moan. your eyes buck open though, when his words sink in, head tipping back to look at him in the mirror, only to find his gaze already on you.

"You knew every time?" you ask quietly, panting now that its finally starting to pass over you. but bakugou doesn't let you up from this position, especially since the area you're in seems to be desolate for now.

paranatural would be so good if the characters had intended symbolism and core beliefs and things behind them that drove a specific meaning. rather than being tools for shonen anime pseudomocking

#like all joming aside the comic is funny but thats it. its funny. its made to be funny. it has some wacky lines gets some good reactions #its funny. but i dont think its a good story anymore.#like let’s really think about this for a moment. what is paranatural about.#4 years ago i wouldnt said ‘kids fighting ghosts in their wacky hometown’ but theh havent done that in ages. theres no trace of that story #and there hasnt been since chapter 5 ended #digging further- thats just plot. what is it ABOUT? the power of friendship? the perseverance to protect the ones you love?#i used to love max for his down-to-earth straight man grounded perspective. max wasnt funny. max was reasonable and the contrast of that #reason against the nonsense of the town is what MADE him funny.#like the other day when i posted the comparison between ch4’s hallway specshot scene and the one from fridays page #max isnt being funny in the hallway. ‘why am i here’ is put against Haha Woww So Deel Max Lol to which he can reply no i mean study hall.#his reaction is rational. the sarcasm adds humor but its rather the world around him which is so newly strange that his normalcy is funny #and then versus the new page. max makes a Why Am I Here joke again. but this time the question is not asked by max the character who wants #to know why his father has dragged him to a kids entertainment zone. but rather is asked as the setup for an #Unexpected Quirky Classic Max One-Liner ‘no i meant on this earth why do i exist’#it just feels so much flatter. max isnt aloof and uncaring and sarcastic because he doesnt care about anything or anyone and is untouchable.#max is standoffish but genuinely nice and caring for the people he meets. his first instinct after landing on johnnys face #is to ask if hes alright. when PJ feels distraught at not being important in his own death maxes first instinct is to find a way to make him #feel better. to challenge that perspective and doubt the viewpoint his own poor self esteem gives him #when isabel comes out of her spirit trance and is too shocked to move max immediately rushes to her side to protect her against a spirit hes #terrified of. and then the next day brings what happened up to her and says hes sorry she went through that and hes got her back #he BREAKS HIS ARM TO PROTECT JOHNNY AGAINST HIJACK #hes a good protagonist because even though he has trouble connecting to others and being super friendly hes still NICE!!!! he still CARES!!!#i might take these tags and just make them a new post this turned into loving max hours #paranatural

#i really am starting to think that they may have decided to announce sth (single on the 3rd maybe?) or release the album earlier than they #were planning to or they are messing this up already sksjn but i don’t think it’s that yet #but it feels rushed #it feels way too much too early #the reels/tiktoks would work one per day very well but we’re being bombardér as if they wanted to close the lt1 era as early as possible #because they’re transitional in that they’re summing up the lt1 and ltwt era and the snippets are pushing it to the lt2 era and it’s really #well done and smart with the clues and i love it but there’s too many of them coming too early #even with the snippets #and in combination with 369 and afhf and stuff people are already tired #including myself lol #and the leak is way too early if the album is to come out in november like #it’s a really really really weird one #if they were leaking songs that are not to be on the album only it would seem like they’re cleaninv out the vault like harry seemed to have #done #but with the album songs in the mix idk #but yeah idk i feel like they decided to make some changes and release/ announce something earlier bc no good promo team would pile that on #like that people now get overwhelmed real quickly you have to find balance between the short attention span that people have rn and tiring #them out

first sentence game!

rules: list the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have fewer than 20, just list them all!) from oldest first. see if there are any patterns. choose your favourite opening line.

@hiuythn tagged me in this a million years ago!! and i’m just getting to it now as a way to procrastinate/ease into writing for the day!! but ty much love!

starting with - 1. fly me to the moon

Some people say that Bakugou has no filter.

2. Sympathy Flowers

The hardest part, for Eijirou, is that he had to hear it from the news.

3. Middle School Nickname

It’s a miracle that the diner hasn’t banned them by now.

4. Navillera

Kyouka always claimed her car was a junker, mostly citing the engine that never stopped rattling, but Mina doesn’t truly believe her until she sees a cassette player where the radio should be.

5. it’s really good to hear your voice

Every night when they go to sleep, the bedroom is dark.

6. the after

Tsubomi doesn’t remember how many times she died, but her bones do.

7. once for me

Everything that’s happening is happening in the middle of the room - the talking, the laughing, the exchanging of gifts and singing of Christmas carols.

8. lightning in a bottle

Eijirou hears the host call out his name and for half a second he mistakes the ringing in his ears for his morning alarm.

9. every little bit (helps the fire burn)

Katsuki has a problem, and it’s not that a man with bulls’ horns tried to pick him up from kindergarten the other day.

10. and then he kissed me!

i. “You got a change of clothes?”

ii. “Don layf.”

iii. In Katsuki’s mind, most things are black and white.

iv. “Katsuki.”

v. The thought’s been rolling around in Eijirou’s mind for weeks, maybe months, but it’s Kaminari who first says, “Man, Bakugou’s really opened up, huh?”

vi. There are, and Eijirou has counted, a grand total of only so many times a guy can watch the same four action movie reruns on cable before it gets to you.

16. Easy as 1-2-3

If you were to ask Izuku what sets his kindergarten class apart from the rest of the elementary schoolers, even the first-graders, his answer would be simple, but sure: their unpredictability.

and to bring us up to 20, a few opening sentences from wips that have not (yet) seen the light!

17. Above the couch hangs Katsuki’s least favorite picture.

18. Long before they start dating, Katsuki knows Kirishima is weird.

19. Suzuko knew that Kirishima kid last year, but this year, he’s in her class.

20. Eijirou drives the whole way.

patterns: i love a simple statement opener!! i feel like 9 times out of 10 when i go to start a story or chapter (or even a scene after a break) i default to “simple statement or two, and then dialogue.” i just like the rhythm of it! funnily enough when i was younger i think i started every single thing i wrote with dialogue, which i think can be really effective if you want the scene to hit the ground running, but i think it reminds me of my old writing too much to usually go for it

favorite(s): probably 6, 8, and 19!! (19 i like for how it sets up the tone of the scene. i swear it’s better with context)

#i wish i had gotten back into fic earlier so i had like a longer time span progression to look at #but definitely revisiting some of these was enough to already feel nostalgic #especially bc sympathy flowers has a different (and imo more effective) opening line now that i stared at a lot when i was actively working #on it #but yeah i love a statement #lol this is kind of a silly thing to post instead of actual content but now looking at these wips i am. having trouble picking which to work #on today #one of these is technically done but very very rough and rushed #and definitely not communicating the things i wanted to communicate w it #so it'd probably be the quickest to finish up but i'm the most reluctant to look at it #funny how that works #ask game
