Mr. Park’s return
So, I’m not sure what to make of this really... like it’s not really a sickfic thing - I don’t know.. it might be, I’ll just say it classifies, it’s more of like a little continuation bit in this series and because I felt like writing about it... I’ve had this sitting with me for a while, so I may as well post it.. it felt a bit everywhere, there’s some knew characters I just tossed in because I needed too and we’ll just see where that leads, yeah?
[there is probably grammatical errors, my first language is English I just can’t proof read - its a rough life] anyway, I hope this is somewhat enjoyable, its kind of a mess
This is supposed to be just a small filler type thing I guess
Snz based but like its rather mild.
‘Sickie’ : Jimin / [Felix? its faint really]/ [Yoongi is mentioned, but yeah]

“Good morning everyone.” Jimin smiled at the class of juniors settling in their seats as warmly as he could considering that he was still trying to recover from days of fever. He still felt tired and a weak, with some lingering symptoms, but he was tired staying at home doing nothing.  He needed to work again, get back into a routine so that he wasn’t lazing around all the time. So, he had suited up in warm clothes and more makeup than usual to hide the dark rings that had still not left him.
The class stared at him with a mix of confusion and curiosity before greeting him with about the same enthusiasm he had done to them. He supposed that was fair, it wasn’t like they knew who he was really.
He cleared his throat, dropping the exam booklets onto the desk set up in the front of the room, before continuing on with as much forced giddiness as he could manage. No one wanted to head into an exam with a dark unwelcoming mood, so if he could brighten it by even an inch then he would be happy.
“I’m Mr. Park, I’ll be your teacher for this exam.” As if to serve as a reminder, something caught in his throat and he smothered a small bout of coughs into his arm. “Please excuse my voice, I’ve been a little under the weather.”
It didn’t take long before a few voices rose up, which was not surprising considering majority of the class had probably never seen him before. it had become blatantly obvious that most of the students had wanted to spend much more attention on their paper. He didn’t blame them, anyone would want to be distracted from exams and he usually wouldn’t mind, he loved to gossip and get to know the students and they always seemed to be as interested in him as he was in what they were like, but even with the amount of lozenges he’d sucked on that morning already, his voice was definitely going to give out if he spoke for long.
 “What do you teach Sir?”
“You look so young.”
“Mr. Park! What are you doing here?”
“Are you new?”
“What type of Hybrid are you?”
Jimin looked to students who had spoken up. Most dressed or styled slightly different from the standard uniform, clearly these were the usual extrovert favourites. He tried to ignore the more intrusive questions and focus more on the ones of innocent curiosity. A wide grin split across his face and his sight narrowed as he recognised one girl that he taught in modern contemporary. Jimin pressed his square framed glasses further up his nose, his tail flicking as the girl waved her arm wildly from the back of the class.
“Sana? Oh, it’s weird seeing you out of class.” Jimin chuckled lightly, giving a small wave in return. “Most of you probably won’t know me, but I’ve been a part of the dance faculty for I think about three years now. I usually only interacted in the other art departments during these times, but this year the school thought it would be better to shift things around a bit. I think I only know Sana… oh wait, Soobin’s here too. Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve seen you two…” His chest warmed with the pleasure of seeing at least some of his kids.
“Sir, what are you doing back?” Soobin grinned and leant forward from when he sat on top of his friends desk. “Mr. Jung said that you probably wouldn’t be back for at least another week.”
“Not quite.” Jimin corrected, moving closer to his student. “It’s just not as heavy a work-load as usual. Are you ready for your exams? And you Sana? I feel so bad for not being there in your final sessions.”
“I think we’re both glad that you rested rather than pushed to be there with us.” Sana grinned, packing away her English textbooks. “I haven’t done mine yet but Soobin had his exam yesterday.”
Jimin’s eyes shot to the boy who merely shrugged, although the bright flash in the fae boys eyes led Jimin to believe he did better than he wanted to portray. Which was good. Great, actually. His students were amazing.
“Ahhh… why do I get the feeling that none of you did any real dancing while I was away… Anyway, don’t stress over it. Deep breathes and smooth lines. It’s nothing you haven’t done before.” Jimin countered to Sana before stepping back to address the class once again, coughing into his arm again – slightly harsher this time. He answered and entertained a few more questions from the students that he didn’t know before finally calling it. “Okay, we should probably start soon. May everyone please start packing away any studying material. And is everyone present for this exam?”
“Mr. Park, Sir.” A trio of girls, each with unique traits that led him to believe they were all either warlocks or fae, waved to him from the side of the class closest to the wall of windows.
 “Yes?”
“So, you’re a dancer, Mr. Park? Can you show us something?” The one with golden eyes smirked and Jimin’s chest tightened, knowing that her suggestive tone wasn’t one of humour or general curiosity. Kids. They were kids.
“I am, but we have more important things.” He chose to ignore the low whining that erupted from them. “Clear your desks please, you don’t seem to be going over notes anyway. I am assuming that everyone is here, which means we are going to begin.”
He returned to the desk without glancing at the girls again. The session had officially started.
Once desks were clear he began to hand out transcripts, only letting them turn through the pages once each student had one. It was a bit of a struggle, with how hoarse his voice was quickly becoming – given that he hadn’t needed to use it as much in the past few days as he was now, but he managed to read through the paper with them to make sure there were no immediate errors then set them forth on the 3-hour paper. Even though it made him drowsy he snuck a few pills in after he stifled a sneeze into his wrist. He wanted to try keep any and all symptoms to a minimum as to not distract anyone, but it was difficult when the class only had the scribbling sound of pens on paper to fill it with noise.
He sipped the tea from his flask that he was certain Yoongi had spiked with some type of herbal energy booster before Jimin had left that morning. The hybrid couldn’t help the wholesome warmth that ran through him at the thought of the worrisome warlock. Despite Yoongi being powerful and often intimidating to those who didn’t know him, Jimin knew that the elder was in-fact a big softy that was usually too shy to address things that  stressed him out. Especially if it was about the people he cared for. Instead he was prone to small actions that he thought would help lift any burdens or stressors, for both him and whoever he helped – in this case, Jimin. Yoongi hadn’t even wanted him to start at the school again yet, even for short hours, but after the hybrid had spoken some sense into him – that it was Jimin’s job and everyone, including Yoongi himself, had  worked while sick at some point – Yoongi eventually caved.
Although that didn’t stop him from being a bit clingier than usual, and definitely didn’t stop him from wrapping Jimin entirely in the Warlocks clothes so that his scent was with him all day. Not that Jimin minded being completed drenched in the elders scent and the clothes that were just a bit too big for him always made him feel warm and comforted. The last week that Jimin had spent at home with his boyfriend had been amazing, even if he had been a miserable mess for most of it.
Jimin had just finished firing off emails to the other dance staff members about how everything was going with the dance exams and if there are still students looking for last minute help when he felt the sad realisation that his med’s had been easing off. He hadn’t brought enough for a second dose and he could already feel his nose starting to run. The exam was almost over, just another hour or so and then he was free to be a mess again. But that wasn’t what his body had in mind.
He’inxshew… hih..Hieshxngt hXNGst..
 Damn it.
Jimin sniffed and wiped at his nose with a tissue. Thankfully he had thought to bring quite a few of the tissue travel packs with him, Yoongi had tried to slip an entire box of Kleenex into Jimin’s bag but the hybrid found that to be a bit excessive. His tail curled around his waist as he felt the gazes of a few of the students that were already finished or were checking through their work, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. He sniffed repeatedly, trying to be as soft and quiet as possible but it only seemed to make matters worse as he snapped forward with another sneeze that he caught by pinching at his nose. Stifling was a bit painful, especially with how congested he had been, but he would bear with it.
He stifled four more before he had to come to terms with the fact that he could not try to sniffle to keep it at bay anymore. So he claimed fresh tissues to blow his nose, wincing and sending apologetic eyes to the students at the wet gurgling sound that filled the room. Jimin’s face was heated and he swallowed hard trying to work past his embarrassment. The students probably didn’t even care that much. But he still felt like the floor should open to let him fall through it.
He perked as a hand shot up, the student mouthing for more paper. Jimin threw away his tissues, doing his best to ignore how gross he was momentarily felt, and after a quick squirt his trusty hand sanitiser that Jin made him carry,  he was up and handing out pages. Taking that moment of already being up to slowly walk around and check if anyone else needing anything from him. He tried not to linger too much when he noticed Soobin gnawing at his bottom lip. A quick glance and Jimin could tell that the boy was struggling with understanding some of the things being asked of him and he didn’t want to add any extra pressure of being hovered over. Clearly the boy was unfortunately – in this case - closer inclined to the creative arts than he was to general studies.
 “Si-Sir?”
Jimin followed the soft whisper to a thin, pale dog hybrid who looked anxious just to have to look Jimin in the eye. Jimin cleared his throat to try get rid of the insistent itch that seemed to plague him and leant down so that the boy wouldn’t have to look up at him when he spoke. It wasn’t often that someone reacted intimidated by Jimin, so he was left a bit unsure. The few handfuls of times that he could remember being anything close to scary were strictly associated with his dancers or the few times he got into arguments with his friends, but usually everyone saw him as a soft and gentle hybrid that they could either try to walk all over or have pleasant easy conversations with. No real threat.
Jimin rested his hand on the edge of the desk to steady himself, then silently inclined his head to indicate that the boy could continue.
 “I-I don’t feel.. feel well.”
Jimin gently rested a hand on the boys back only to frown at how sharp the hybrid’s bones were beneath his clothing. “What do you mean? Are you stressed? Sick? Do you feel nauseous?”
The boy merely nodded and swallowed loudly, sinking further away from Jimin.
“Do you want to go to the nurse?” he asked softly. Looking more closely at the boys’ face, his oddly sharp facial structure and sunken cheeks. He had originally seen the bruises under the boys eyes as a part of the exam season stress but maybe there was something else happening.. When he got the nod of approval Jimin set his hand on the boys exam paper. “Do you want to keep this for now, or should I take it?”
 “Take it.”
Okay then. Jimin stood up, slipping the exam paper from the students desk, and bringing it back to his station, making note of the foreign name, ‘Felix’, filled in at the top right corner. Then he moved to the intercom attached to the wall behind his desk chair and held the button that connected him to the head office. “Hi, could we please have someone come to room 48? I need a student to be taken to the nurses office.”
A garbled reply came back at him that he could only hope meant that someone would be sent soon. In the meantime, Jimin dug in his bag until he retrieved a sealed bottle of water. It wasn’t as cold as it had been when he had bought it, but it would do. He returned to the boy who had now buried his face into his hands, taking deep shaky breaths.
“Felix… can you try taking some small sips of water for me?” Jimin knelt beside the desk once more, twisting off the cap of the bottle. “Just a few? When last did you eat or drink something?”
He didn’t get much of a response other than the hybrid lifting his head enough to look at the open water before shakily taking it from Jimin. He took the smallest of sips before just sitting there with his eyes tightly shut.
“Okay.” Jimin rubbed Felix’s back and stood up again, coughing into his arm before letting out a restrained groan. “Everyone, you have 40 minutes left. If you’re finishing off or just sitting there, then go through your answers again and make sure you’ve read the questions carefully.”
It was almost ten minutes before Jimin heard a soft knock on the door.
Felix had been sitting with his hands pressed tightly against his eyes, leaning heavily on his elbows while taking stuttering breaths. Jimin had been hovering with concern, but there wasn’t anything he could really do to help. The dog hybrid pretty much shunned him every time he murmured a gentle question or soothing words.
Jimin left his spot next to the sick boy, giving a quick glance over the class to find that at least a third of them were watching him and not going over their work like he’d encouraged, but he called out a brief ‘half an hour left’ and moved to open the door.
 “Jimin?”
“Jin.” Jimin let out a heavy breath, running a finger under his nose before leaning closer to the concerned elder. Silently thanking that their office employees had thought to call the school nurse directly and not some random other teacher to walk the boy to a better environment. “Hi, I’m not sure how sick this boy is, but he has a fever and I think he might be nauseous. He couldn’t tell me if it was from anxiety or something else so… He didn’t seem too keen on talking to me at all actually. I just gave him water.”
Jin nodded, wiping his hands on his jeans before stepping forward to move into the class. For a moment he looked like he wanted to question Jimin on something else but thought better of it.
 “Where are they?”
Jimin pointed him out and then stood back, trying his best to watch over the rest of the class and not interfere with Jin as he prompted a few words out of Felix – mostly about what he felt like and whether he was okay to walk - before helping him stand. The witch had to wrap an arm around the boys waist to kept him steady and they were forced to move at a slow pace, but Jin just murmured soft barely audible words of encouragement until they’d reached the door. Jimin lay a steadying hand on Jin’s arm before biting at his lip.
“Do you need help getting back? I can ask the office to send another person..”
“We’re fine Jimin.” Jin reassures, his hand rubbing gently at Felix’s side. “I know him, I’d rather just move slowly and not stress him out too much. You can come by in a bit if you’re worried, but I’ve got it.”
Jimin let them go, closing the door softly behind them trying to ignore the tears that had sprung to Felix’s eyes as soon as the pair had left the room. Distracted, he gave a final slow walk through the rows of students. Most of them were finished now, some had lain down over their desks while others fiddled with their stationery. He gave a pleased nod to see that at least two students where carefully reading through their work and added to certain places, and then he passed Soobin. The boy had completely drawn over the back of his exam paper with dark detailed sketches that  couldn’t have been done quickly. Jimin winced at the thought of how the boys answers must look, and took it has a hint to sit the rest of the time at his desk where he sipped at the final bit of his now lukewarm tea.
He sent a few carefree texts to Yoongi, who had been complaining bitterly about having to stay at home for the day. Apparently he had tried to talk Namjoon into letting him work but the clumsy witch had threatened to jinx the elder if Yoongi came in to work. Jimin smiled at his boyfriend’s irritated messages, knowing that the warlock was probably still in bed despite him having his studio there if he really wanted to work.
He still felt a bit bad about getting Yoongi sick, but the warlock had thankfully always been a quick healer, so hopefully if he rested for a day or two then he would be fine. Jimin sent a final ‘see you in a bit! Love you!’ before he readied up the exam folder to retrieve the papers.
He coughed once into his fist, pushing up his glasses instinctively afterwards, then gave a soft smile. “Okay guys, if anyone is still writing I’m going to need you to stop.”
*
“Jin? You in here?” Jimin peeked into the small nurses office only to find it empty, ignoring how his voice had cracked. The desk had been pushed neatly to the side and had an open medical bag with some scattered medications on it but other than that and the locker off to the side that held Jin’s personal things, the room was impeccably clean. Although that shouldn’t surprise him, it was a nurses office. “Soekjin?”
He heard a soft reply and then Jin appeared, ducking through the white curtain that basically blended into the wall. The sectioned off area for those that needed a bed to lay down in, if Jimin remembered correctly.
“Yeah, hey.” Jin smiled and tugged at the collar of his shirt before collapsing into his chair with a sigh. “Sorry, I’ve been running everywhere.”
“Mr. Popularity.” Jimin teased and entered properly into the room to lean against the second chair across from his friend. He flipped a small backpack up and dropped it onto the empty seat. “Felix left this. I didn’t want to leave it there in case there was something important inside. He can just fetch it from here whenever he’s back at school.”
“He hasn’t left yet.” Jin let out a breath much heavier than before. His expression darker than what Jimin was used to seeing on him. “He stays in a foster home with a whole bunch of other kids, his guardians are always a bit preoccupied with the younger children. I think they like to think that the older kids can fend for themselves a lot better than what they actually can, but yeah. They were called, but his foster brother will probably be the one to fetch him after his classes for uni end.”
Jimin frowned deeply. His chest ached in sympathy for the timid hybrid that had seemed close to passing out earlier. “Is he… okay?”
“Mostly.” Jin shrugged, glancing back to the curtained area he had come through. “He threw up a few times and put up more of a fight than I thought possible when I tried to get him to drink a potion. I had to resort to just standard medicine, but it won’t be as effective.  Seems like a flu.”
“I felt awful that I couldn’t really help earlier.” Jimin admitted with a small sniff, rubbing at the tip of his nose swiftly. “He seemed scared to tell me anything, but I don’t know… maybe he just really wasn’t feeling well.”
Jin shook his head. “This isn’t his first foster home, he got moved around a lot. From his file and the times he’s spoken to me, he has a bit of a rocky history with cat hybrids – of course his experiences kind of dealt more with predatory breeds but I suppose he just kind of categorised.”
Now Jimin felt worse. He bit at his lip and locked his eyes onto the curtain as if he would be able to see the boy through the material. Was he asleep, or was he listening? Jimin’s throat tightened at the thought of having scared the dog hybrid. He didn’t really like causing someone else unnecessary stress, especially if there was a history of something … what, abusive? Maybe?
“I didn’t realise… Why was he sent to school if he wasn’t feeling well?”
“Beats me. Probably didn’t say anything, he’s only really comfortable with a few people and I don’t think he expects to rely on his foster parents.” Jin says quietly. “He’s a good kid, though. Very funny and loud when he wants to be. He just needs to open up to others a bit more, stop feeling like a burden and maybe participate a bit more.”
Jimin nodded, twisting at one of his rings. “It’s hard sometimes, I get that. If he ever wants to he’s more than welcome to come by the dance studio’s. We sometimes hold after school classes for those that are curious or need extra practices. It might be a bit late to switch to it as a subject, but I’m willing to teach him a few things when he’s feeling better, maybe it will help in terms of meeting new people. Or I can ask Hobi if he can teach him a few things if he’ll feel more comfortable with a human teacher.”
“I’ll let him know.” Jin let out a huff of a laugh. “How are you? Feeling better about being back?”
Jimin grinned widely, leaning heavily onto the chair. “Loads better, Yoongi helped me a lot. I’m still a bit stuffy –“
“And your voice is super hoarse.” Jin said, then smiled teasingly as Jimin whined, his ears drooping a little.
“Yeah, I know… But I really do feel better. I’m tired now but I’m happy to be back at work, I missed my kids. I got see two of my students during the exam, although I don’t think I have a lot of faith in the ones English skills. … its fine though.” Jimin straightened up and gave a dramatic wave of his hands. “He won’t need good marks in standard school, he’ll go far in dancing.”
Jin pulled a face at Jimin’s words causing the younger to let out a small giggle.
“Maybe not fail the standard schooling, but you get what I mean. He’s going places whether he gets those marks or not.”
“Sure, Minnie. Just don’t tell him that he doesn’t need to get good marks in other things.” Jin advised teasingly. “That’s not the best way to educate the next generation.”
A gentle knock on the office door had Jimin jumping in fright, his ears drawn back, and fur raised, only to see two boys hovering outside. He vaguely recognised one from seeing him in hallways but the shorter one was unfamiliar, they both had soft fae-like features and wide innocent eyes. The taller was still dressed in the academies uniform while the other was dressed entirely in baggy black clothes that reminded Jimin of Yoongi. Although he doubted Yoongi would willingly get a lip and eyebrow piercing… maybe Jimin could talk him into it…
“Hey, Chan. You got here fairly quickly.” Jin rose from his seat. “ I think he’s asleep right now, but I’ll wake him up and give him a final look over.”
“Thank you so much Mr. Kim.” The dark one said, smiling brightly at Jin before nodding a greeting at Jimin.
He gave a soft ‘Hi’ before he pulled the light backpack off of the seat and handed it to the one Jin had addressed. “Here’s his bag.”
“Thank you.” Chan accepted it quickly and gratefully.
“Aren’t you one of the dance teachers? On the other side of the school?” The student, who looked about the same age as Felix despite being taller than both Chan and Jimin. “I saw you in that theatre performance thing like three months ago… right?”
Jimin nodded, assuming that the boy was talking about the fundraiser that the school did that was mostly a time for the students to see the staff make fools of themselves doing dances or skits – or in his and the rest of the performance arts staffs’ case, their talent and skills being flaunted in their natural habitats.
“Yep, I’m a modern – contemporary instructor, but I help out in the hip hop sector when I’m needed.”
The boys face lit up at knowing he was right. “You’re dancing is so cool. You were so graceful on stage, it looked really beautiful.”
Jimin smiled and felt his cheek warm. Jin had disappeared behind the curtain and Chan was watching Jimin with a small smile.
“I remember now. I went and watched with him and some of our other brothers.” Chan added. “He kind of became obsessed with dance after that.”
His cheeks burned and he let out a soft nervous cough into his fist. “That’s kind, thank you. Are you… all in the same Foster family as Felix?”
Chan nodded before adding. “I don’t live there anymore, but I still spend time with some of them there, kind of become like real brothers, you know?”
Jimin nodded, stilling feeling a bit off about thinking of them in a foster home. “Well I was just telling Jin that he was welcome to come by the studios if he ever felt interested in dance. As a way to open up a bit. I’m not sure if Felix would join if I taught him, but you’re welcome to join myself or Mr. Jung as well if you want – um..”
“Hyunjin.” The boy said eagerly. “That’s so cool. I really want to, I wanted to take classes, but our guardians couldn’t pay for the extra fee.”
Jimin bit back his grimace. It was unfortunate that students had to pay an extra amount for specialised classes but there wasn’t much he could do besides over informal schooling.
“Well, we can organise once or twice a week to help you guys out. You actually look like the right build for a dancer, probably wont struggle too much…”
Jin reappeared with the small dog hybrid following close behind, looking a bit steadier on his feet than before but still nowhere near healthy enough to be at school. Felix hesitated at the sight of him but didn’t stop for long before he move to sink into Chan’s arms. Jin spoke about some of the hybrids symptoms and what he’d need to take as well as giving a few things to watch out for and what to do if it got worse just in case their guardians got busy. Jimin moved back, letting the two boys move closer to their brother in the office. It was cute to see the three of them together, so different and yet there was a clear sense of family. Jimin sniffed only to regret it as a sharp piercing lemon scent that was no doubt coming from Felix flooded his senses. He wasn’t sure how he hadn’t smelt it earlier, perhaps it was because Felix was feeling safe – in any case, Jimin blinked hard. He pressed a finger secretly to his nose, but it only seemed to aggravate the itch. Damn it, he had really hoped that he had finished with this earlier – he had blown his nose enough times after leaving the class, but apparently not.
‘He’ingxt’ah.. h’ingxsh..hih..hih’IGTSHiew…’ He cringed as he felt eyes land on him but couldn’t do anything else but keep his hand covering his face. ‘hih’itchshew… h’IShiew..’
 “Bless you, Jimin.”
Jimin groaned and pulled a face, giving a soft and somewhat nervous sniffle. It seemed to be the end of it thankfully. Everyone was looking at him, but thankfully they didn’t seem to really care. “Thanks…”
 “Thought you were better, hmm?”
“Jin,” Jimin pursed his lips and resisted the urge flick him. “Shut up. I’m fine now, just... lingering stuff.”
Jin hummed but Jimin knew he was only trying to be annoying.
“okay well, I’ll head out then.” Jimin clapped his hands together awkwardly, no longer wanting to stay in the room in case he was going to start being sensitive to any more scents.
“Tell Yoongi to feel better for me, Min.” Jin said as he wrote down the names of specific medications that would be the most long lasting for a hybrid.
Remembering the adorable sight he had left his boyfriend in that morning, Jimin spun around with a cheery gasp and wide glimmering eyes that had Jin laughing loudly, the other three in the room just blinking with bemusement at the suddenly change.
“Get home Jimin! That wasn’t an invitation to start blabbering about your boyfriend. Actually, I’m very annoyed at you – It’s your fault that I didn’t get my extra Namjoon-day yesterday. I was devastated! Devastated Jimin!” Jin scolded him without even trying to suppress his smile.
“You can sleep with your husband whenever you want Jin. No one is stopping you.” A pen smacked into his chest and Jimin bubbled with laughter as he danced out of range of the book that had come flying soon after the first projectile. “Don’t throw things at me!”
“Yah! Don’t say inappropriate things in front of students, you bratty cat!”
“They know what sex is!” Jimin argued playfully, coughing lightly as he caught the next book that came flying at his face. “So sensitive. Has it been that long?”
“I should have never befriended you. I have to rethink my life choices.” Jin shook his head as he sent Felix an exasperated look. The dog hybrid was watching the interaction with wide, watery eyes.
“Bye, Soekjin.” Jimin laughed, handing the book he had caught to Hyunjin. “I’ll let Yoongi know you care. If you want… I can ask him to make up something special to help-“
“GO HOME, BRAT!”
Jimin pranced away, hearing the soft curses that Jin threw after him. Home. Despite how mixed his feelings were after finding out about Felix’s family life, he couldn’t help but be filled with a flood of warmth at the thought of his boyfriend waiting for him. Most likely still cuddled up into the warm nest Jimin had rearranged for him, unless the elder had decided to use energy to make food or something, but that seemed particularly doubtful after he had messaged Jimin about how lucid he felt and about the mountain of tissues creating a new city on the floor of their bedroom.
It was endearing… possibly contagious to anyone else that stepped fought into their house but somehow, very endearing.

I love your how to handle fame series and I totally get if you’re six of writing for this AU but if you aren’t I’d love one with them making the relationship official like Annabeth telling Percy he can post a picture of them for the first time or her telling him she wants to make it official and post on social media and Percy just being happy to tell the world that she’s his and vice versa
CONTINUATION OF: PART 9
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6 , Part 7,  Part 8
If Percy ever decides to pick up the memoir business again, the entire thing could be about the past two days, which have downright been the weirdest, most surreal days of his whole life.
On second thought, maybe he wouldn’t be able to write it because he’s spent all weekend trying to compartmentalize it and it still feels like a blur.
Like one really long day.
And you’d think, given the magnitude of the events that had occurred, he’d remember it better.
CHB had been the first to report the news, courtesy of that lady shoving a mic in his face, but the interview had really sealed the deal. Zoe Nightshade is acclaimed for reporting facts not fiction in the celeb news world, so going on her show to talk about it had been the best way to get the right version of the story out there.
All he remembers about the set are the hot lights, the white couch (that he was immediately worried about ruining) and Annabeth by his side, holding his hand.
Overall, it had been good. The entire thing had been premeditated by Annabeth, who had started off the interview explaining how they wanted to go public on their own terms instead of someone else leaking it, but that they still wished to keep their personal lives private.
Percy had also kept to his premeditated script, saying he’s a barista from New York, and shifting the dialogue (as Annabeth called it) to their meeting.
After the interview Annabeth had given him a big hug and told him it was a success.
But then…..oh then, came The Notifications™.
As if he didn’t already spend too much time on his phone, he’s been glued to it all weekend.
“It’s going to be rough,” Annabeth had said with the same worried face that she had when the talk about going public had come up a month ago.
And Percy knows, right, he’s been in the service industry and knows how people can be jerks. He knows there’s going to be backlash.
Maybe that’s why Annabeth had rented a beach house far down the coast and been by his side constantly the past two days.
He glances over at her, leaning back on her comfy wicker chair with her feet propped, reading a book. As if she can tell he’s looking at her, she puts down her book and turns to face him.
“What’s up?’
Her long legs look golden in the sunlight filtering through the light curtains and she’s practically glowing with the beach air wafting through the open window.
Long story short, she looks beautiful.
Focusing his brain from the detour it took to admire her, he shakes his head.
“Nothing…just wondering how I got here.”
She picks up her cup of tea from the table beside her. “What do you mean?”
Leaning back against the headboard of the bed, he stares at the high planked ceiling.
“I don’t know…just everything. I mean for one, I’ve never seen so many pictures of myself…even my mom’s albums would have a tough time competing…actually, they might still win now that I think about it.”
Annabeth chuckles at that. And while it’s true his mom has an absurd amount of pictures, him and Annabeth have been plastered a fair amount on various articles and social media. He’d kept his Instagram private, but his Twitter hadn’t stopped blowing up.
“And I’ve never had this many people talk or…speculate about me.” He drops his gaze from the ceiling to once again land on her. “Like, it’s the most hate I’ve ever gotten…”
The inevitable comments on him being a gold digger, though expected, had been hard to see. It stung a little to think people thought he was anything other than hopelessly in love with his girlfriend.
But no one had been more pissed than Annabeth and it had taken kisses from him to distract her.
He sees the same anger and worry start to flare up now, her eyebrows already creasing together, and rushes to complete his thought.
“But it’s also the most support I’d gotten.”
Luckily, an overwhelming majority of Annabeth’s fans had been super supportive of them. One picture in particular, one of them standing at the red carpet staring into each other’s eyes, had gone viral and “Percabeth” (as people were dubbing them) had been number one on trending for a whole day.
So many people not only calling them cute, but also describing him as hot. Percy had almost laughed out loud when he’d first read comments gushing about how attractive he was. (Take that, Nancy Bobofit, who called him ugly in middle school.)
“It’s just really crazy I guess, I never expected this from my life.”
He really should write a memoir. Other people need to know how almost comically absurd his life is now. (It would start with riding the subway to school every day.)
Annabeth sits up in her chair, still wearing the frown from earlier.
“Do you regret it?”
She asks calmly enough, but he can see the worry behind her eyes and the fear creep into her tone. He slides off the bed and walks to her, sitting on the footstool she’d been propping her feet on a second ago.
“Not at all.”
Reaching for her hand, he raises it to her lips, keeping eye contact. She needs to know that he’d take it all if it means he gets to be with her.
The day after the interview, Annabeth had told him to pick out a picture of them to post on her Instagram. And though it had immediately become her most liked picture, it wasn’t just fan service. The smile on her face when she posted it had made Percy’s heart melt even more.
Because the truth is, despite everything, it feels so good to call her his in front of the whole world.
Annabeth smiles, pulling their intertwined hands close to her and resting her cheek against them.
“Good.”
His phone vibrates and he can’t help but look over. Annabeth smiles, amusedly. “Who is it?”
He reaches for the device, unlocking it with a swipe. “My mom.”
“What’s she saying?”
He smiles as he reads the text. “That her friends are blowing up about this.”
Annabeth chuckles. “Don’t worry, it’ll blow over soon.”
Almost automatically, he opens up Twitter. It’s become a bad habit over the past two days.  “Well, we have been trending for a while…”
His sentence veers off as he checks the trending tab. Number one this morning had been a kpop star whose birthday was today and “Percabeth” had been second.
But now number one was…Jogan Paul, who had apparently been caught in some money laundering scheme and become the center of all public outrage. Number two was still the kpop star and number three was #ultranatural.
“Percabeth” was nowhere to be found.
“You’re right…we’re not trending anymore, some other guy, Jogan did a—”
“Money laundering scheme?” Annabeth finishes and he looks up from his phone to see her smile over her tea.
“Yeah…everyone’s talking about him….and then it’s a k—”
“Kpop idol? Yeah, it’s P-Dawn’s birthday,” Annabeth finishes again.
Percy stares at her.
Annabeth, after posting the Instagram photo, hadn’t checked her phone almost all weekend, letting him look at everything going on.
So how could she know all this? He’s pretty sure she hasn’t checked her phone in hours, instead working her way though her book.
“Yeah…” he continues, still confused. “So we’re not trending anymore. This Jogan guy really messed stuff up…”
Annabeth shrugs, still smiling. “That’s how it goes, people move on from things quickly.”
He nods. He knows this. And personally he’s glad that they’re not the main topic of conversation now. It feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders. He puts down his phone with a smile.
“Yeah, it’s fortunate that this guy messed up, really took the eyes off of us.”
Of course, not all the eyes. Annabeth’s fans will still talk about it, but now the media has something juicer to report on.
“Yeah, fortunate,” Annabeth repeats, lifting her cup again to take a sip, but she can’t hide her smile.
Something about this feels…
“Did you know about this?”
Annabeth just takes a sip of her tea.
Peering over the cup, she replies sweetly, “Did you know the season finale of Ultranatural is on tonight?”
And that’s all the answer he needs.
(So he naturally responds by picking her up and tossing her in bed, letting her laughs bounce off the high ceilings as he wraps her in a hug, thinking that there needs to be a whole chapter in his memoir about just how smart his girlfriend is.)
A/N: As I said in the beginning, this is the continuation to the last chapter in the how to handle fame series. Thank you for sending in the prompt! It’s been a popular one and I had a whole storyline for it (though I did include the insta pic :)
When I came up with this plotline I just couldn’t get the idea out of my head that Annabeth would totally mastermind the entire thing and make sure that their relationship didn’t get too much heat.
Plus, let’s be real, news moves fast, and their relationship, while a big thing, isn’t the only thing going on the world for people to talk about. And stories that spark outrage blow up more than two people dating, so I tried to keep this as realistic as I could.
Part of the reason it’s taken so long for this is because I truly wasn’t sure the best way to tackle this whole thing while still staying true to reality as best I could. So when I thought of the Annabeth planning out this whole thing I thought it was fun and cute and went for it. I mean this entire series has taken off in a way I had truly never imagined.
A lot of people had requested the whole going public thing and how it would play out, so I really hope you guys liked this! (And thank you anon for sending in the prompt I used to post this :)
(Also a lot of references to things that have happened semi-recently so lmk if you’ve figured them out, not that they’re that hard lol)

Center of Your Universe - A KNJ Fanfic | Prologue
Pairing: idol!Kim Namjoon x idol!Reader Status: Ongoing Word Count: 3031 Genre: Rivals2Lovers. Fluff. Eventual implied smut and angst. Slow burn. idol!AU Summary: It’s 2019 and Kim Namjoon is conquering the globe with his Bangtan brothers by his side. However, BTS can’t seem to shake their top girl group rival from chasing their names across music charts and award nominations worldwide. Now, the boys have no problem with that in any way; in fact they’ve come to respect the girls of HELIOS and their never ending climb to fame that seemed to match their own success. The only real “problem” Namjoon sees is that HELIOS’ confident, fearless, and overall badass of a leader seems to absolutely hate him. And as much as he doesn’t want to admit it, it does keep him awake at night. A/N: Hello! After a year of diving into BTS and reading fanfics about the boys, I wanted to write my own with the beloved Rivals2Lovers trope, because who doesn’t love that good shit? So this is my first official fanfiction, this will be ongoing although I’m not sure how many parts I’ll be producing, but I have the entire story line written out! I also am fairly new to how kpop fanfics are generally published on tumblr, but I’ll do my best. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I have creating it! Prologue | Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3
Prologue: Definitely a (fan)Boy with Luv
March 2019 There was an unspoken rule that came about RM of BTS’ personal life, and that was to live as Kim Namjoon as soon as he steps foot in his hometown of Ilsan. RM existed while he was at work in Seoul; busy with performance schedules, writing lyrics, producing beats, recording content, and basically leading the biggest boy band of the generation to great heights of fame and success. That’s who Kim Namjoon is on a near daily basis. So when Namjoon can find the time to take a few days off and head back to his childhood home for some much needed rest, he’s only Namjoon; a regular twenty five year old guy who loves long walks among nature and grabbing drinks with old friends. And right now he was Namjoon; a regular twenty five year old guy at his parent’s home, dressed in a tank top and sweats, head bopping to his latest musical discovery on Spotify as he pours an entire bag of chips in a bowl for a mid afternoon snack in preparation for some much needed catching up on his netflix shows. Pausing the song on his phone and housing his earbuds in their case, he shimmies over to the couch with his bowl of chips in a small celebratory dance for these rare days where he can go home and actually relax. No pressing schedules to attend, no pulling out his hair to create the right lyrics for their next song, no band/roommates screaming and chasing each other around their shared Hannam apartment after yet another failed prank attempt; just him alone in the house ready to kick back and finally relax.
Armed with his snacks, drink, and the tv remote, he makes himself comfortable on the couch and finally finds that one show he’s been dying to catch up on. However, just as he’s about to press play, the front door swings open with a loud bang. “PUT. THE REMOTE. DOWN.”
A shrill voice echoes through the family apartment as the newcomer rushes in, hastily chucking her bag and keys on the counter before skidding to a stop between Namjoon and his only source of rest and relaxation for the night. Kim Kyungmin, loving younger sister to BTS’ beloved leader, stands before him with arms folded and with an unyielding glare. “Just because you’re home for the weekend doesn’t mean you can hog the tv the whole time you’re here, hand it over.” She extends out her palm, fingers flexing for the remote. Namjoon groans. “Minnie, I was LITERALLY about to watch my show, can’t you just record what you want to watch and watch it later? Y’know, when I’m usually not here?” Namjoon scoots to the other end of the couch in an attempt to continue on with his planned afternoon of relaxation. However Kyungmin manages to lunge for the remote and swipe it away at the last second, holding it above her head much to her older brother’s annoyance. “Not when you’re watching something you can literally watch anywhere else.” She shifts her pointed glare at his phone then at him before plopping down in his original spot on the couch, quickly switching through the channels to find the show she’s desperately looking for. “That doesn’t solve my solution to you recording your show and watching it later.” Namjoon points out, shoving a chip in his mouth as he watches his sister reach her designated channel. It’s a Knowing Bros episode that seemed to have just started. “If I do that then I can’t react to the episode in real time with Miyoung.” Kyungmin states matter of factly, thumbs flying across her phone as she texts her friend in question. Feeling defeated, Namjoon gives up his quest for his solo Netflix and Chill night he originally planned and settles to watch along with his sister. At least it was a show he actually did enjoy, especially when he was able to be on it with his members at one point. He reminisces his time on the show as he watches as the cast banter over some new found popular trend, the guests of the episode haven’t seemed to arrive just yet. “So who’s on the show this time?” In an immediate response to Namjoon’s question, the classroom door on tv whips open revealing four of the most recognizable women in Kpop; Lee Yuna, Chung Sumi, Han Hyojin, and their leader, Y/N L/N “It’s HELIOS!” Kyungmin lets out a high pitched squeal that Namjoon cringes away from. HELIOS. Arguably the most famous idol girl group to come out of Kpop history to date and BTS’ current standing rivals in the game. Namjoon internally scoffs; okay, so maybe the term “rival” seemed a little too harsh for their relationship to the girls. Let it be clear that there was no beef between Kpop’s fastest rising boy and girl groups despite what the media may try to spin about them. Namjoon and the boys actually do respect the ladies of HELIOS to a high regard and honestly believe that they deserve every inch of recognition and success they’ve received over the years. If the boys of BTS can understand anything, it’s the struggle of trying to make it in such a competitive and demanding environment that is the world of Korean entertainment. Much like them, HELIOS came from humble beginnings; hailing from a small entertainment company established by one of the most respected music producers in the industry. Despite debuting a couple years after BTS, HELIOS grew to be a well known name among teens and young adults. Their unique take on the “girl crush” concept and their unconventional practices of flourishing naturally as an idol group captured the hearts of many, and soon became a trending topic alongside BTS. Namjoon saw many similarities between BTS and HELIOS in the way they’ve grown to their current point of success. Much like the boys, HELIOS liked to connect with their fans personally, most of their viewership grew from watching their growth as an idol group on social media. In fact, the girls each had their own social media accounts and were good at posting daily doses of their lives on and off stage whenever they could. Their fans felt like they could really relate to them on a personal level; recognizing that, at times, these four beloved idols were just girls following their dreams. Other times, their fans were often reduced to a squealing-to-near-tears mess, as currently exhibited by Kyungmin. Namjoon was surprised she hadn’t started frothing at the mouth at this point. “Ugh! I just love them sooooo much!” Kyungmin groaned, voicing out her text message before tossing her phone aside and giving her undivided attention to the tv. On screen, HELIOS stood at the doorway as the hosts of Knowing Bros gaped in awe at their presence. The three women stood strategically in formation with you front and center. Namjoon let out a quiet sigh through his nose. Now while BTS and HELIOS had no history of any animosity towards each other (actually the only interactions they’ve really had was congratulating each other on a job well done in between set switches), the only “problem” Namjoon could find was that you, HELIOS’ renowned leader, seem to hate his fucking guts. He has voiced his concerns plenty of times to his members, especially after passing you and the girls by during music shows. You had a tendency to give everyone but him the time of day, and Namjoon didn’t know why. “You’re probably looking too much into it, hyung,” He remembers Jungkook telling him after another failed attempt to talk to the fellow leader. “I mean, you never talk to her, so I don’t think she has a reason to hate you.” “He’s right,” Jimin pipes up from across the dressing room. “It could be the way she is, after all she always looks like she’s got a 1.5 meter pole stuck up her- Ow! What!? I was just kidding!” His remark was short lived with a swift smack to the back of the head and a warning glare from Hoseok. Though it was rude to say, Namjoon couldn’t deny that, to a certain extent, you did look a little uptight most of the time.
Watching closely on screen, he studied your resting bitch face-like expression. Despite being dressed in a standard school uniform that admittedly made you look cute, you looked like you were ready to take names and kick some ass while poised in your signature power stance. One hand over a hip cocked to the side as your sharp gaze trailed over the Knowing Bros cast before walking in. Even your movements seemed powerful, as if they were carefully calculated with one foot strutting in front of the other in perfect sync with the sway of your hips, not that he was paying attention to that specific detail. His eyes quickly shifted over to your other members as they moved more naturally on to the set and waved their hi’s to the hosts. Everyone gave their applause as the girls took their place at the podium in front of the classroom. “Please introduce yourselves!” Clearing your throat, you throw on a smirk before making a creative introduction. “Hello, we are from the “Top Tier Global Rising Stars” High School.” The other girls share similar smiles as you before dropping into their standard greeting. “2, 3, Shine On! Hello, we are HELIOS!” The studio erupts in applause and awes of amazement welcoming the girls. Namjoon looked over to Kyungmin with her knees drawn to her chest and chin resting on top, staring intently at the tv. “What? No more weird orgasm sounds for your favorite girls?” That earned him a hard smack to the face. “Shh!” Well, this was his day off to relax. So as he slumped lower into the couch, Namjoon carried on watching the show alongside his sister. About 10 minutes into the show’s friendly banter, Namjoon realized that wasn’t much he knew about the ladies that made up HELIOS until now. For instance, he learned that Lee Yuna was actually the eldest of the group, being the same age as Yoongi. Their fans, appropriately named HALOS, dubbed her as one of the most beautiful women in Korea as she joked about her nickname “The Universal Beauty” to rival Seokjin’s title of “Worldwide Handsome.”
He also learned that the second youngest, Chung Sumi, was actually a naturally talented rapper who freestyled over beats she found on Youtube and posted them on soundcloud during her highschool days, which prompted her to be the first signed trainee at their entertainment company. It reminded him slightly of his underground rapping days leading up to his own path to an idol.
He even learned that Han Hyojin, their own maknae, could basically do anything from singing to rapping to dancing, making her a deadly triple threat for her young age. She could definitely give Jimin, Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jungkook all a run for their money. But what intrigued him the most was your backstory, something that you never revealed until this point. “So Y/N, you’re not actually from Korea?” Kang Hodong inquires. You shake your head in affirmation. “But you speak Korean so well!” Seo Janghoon chimes in, “Where are you from?” “The States, California specifically.” You respond, prompting a stock sound of amazement over the broadcast. “Another idol from California!” “Speak English for us! Come on!” This causes you to scoff, shaking your head. “What would you want me to say?” “Introduce yourself in English!” Yuna urges you with a bright smile, a round of cheers in the room encourages the idea. Namjoon stared in awe as he watched you introduce yourself in your native tongue to the camera. You seemed more comfortable and natural talking in English and it captivated him in a weird sort of way. Both Kim siblings kept their attention on you as the cast prods on with questions about your personal life and Namjoon can’t help but feel much more admiration for you as an idol and leader who’s made it this far after hearing your story. You share to the cast that you were nothing short of ordinary growing up. You’ve lived a normal life with your hard working parents and siblings. You were an average student with no strong ambitions to pursue for the future. The only passion you did have growing up was dancing, and it brought you as far as signing with your company to become a trainee after graduating high school. Without anything else to lose, you eventually made your way to Korea in hopes to find a suitable career that included dancing, however being an idol was totally out of your range. “So you initially didn’t want to be an idol?” Kim Heechul asks earnestly, you give a small shrug. “I didn’t think I was really cut out for it.” You answer cooly, then turn to your members with a soft expression. “But training with my members made me realize that I could do it and make something out of it.” Your girls return the heartfelt smile, something only Namjoon could completely recognize as a genuine bond between members. It tugged at his heartstring seeing this; despite your cold demeanor, you actually do care immensely for the people around you, which he could heavily relate to. If Kim Namjoon wasn’t impressed by you before, he surely was now. However that still doesn’t change the fact you can’t seem to stand him whenever he’s around you. The show finally cuts to commercial, giving Kyungmin enough time to call her friend and squeal about the events of the show. “And she was a cheerleading captain during high school! Can she BE any cooler!?” Namjoon watched incredulously as his sister took her conversation to her room for a quick break. He remembered teasing her once, when his fame with BTS began to rise exponentially, to never ask him for autographs or connections to any idols she may find herself gushing over in the near future, because he swore he’d never do it. Kyungmin only scoffed at her older brother’s feigning arrogance. “Oh please, you’ll never catch me drooling over any idol group at your expense.” If only she could see herself in a few years giving into the HELIOS craze and buying every single piece of merch she could. The look on Namjoon’s face was unbelievable when he came home one day to find Kyungmin framing a huge poster of your face to put in her bedroom. Her piercing glare stopped her brother from prodding any further with her newest obsession. “Not one word.” And with that, she carried your framed face off to her bedroom where it hangs next to her doorway. Well at least she hasn’t asked for your autograph. Not that he could get it anyway, you would definitely reject him if he even so much as breathed in your general direction. Despite finding out his sister was a die hard HALO, he was proud that she at least had good role models to look up to. However, the idea of her number one bias being the very person that hated him wouldn’t stop bothering Namjoon. Would he ever figure out why you just flat out disliked him? Should he even care at all? Why should he? It’s not like you two were friends. Did he want to be friends with you? Namjoon is pulled out of his inner monologue by his sister walking back into the living room with her hand over her mouth and eyes wide at something currently on her phone. She honestly looked like she was ready to cry. He rolled his eyes at her, now that’s just being a little too dramatic. “Alright, what is it now?”
Kyungmin wordlessly turned her phone towards her brother, revealing your personal twitter profile and your newest post. It was a new concept photo of you with the silhouettes of the rest of HELIOS behind you. Dressed in shades of burgundy and maroon, you held a finger to your red painted lips. The caption that goes with it is simple and vague, but gets its point across. “HALOS, you ready? One more time~ D-10”
Namjoon counts down the days quickly in his head, leading up to what seems to be your comeback date. Coincidentally, it’s the day after BTS’ planned announcement for their own comeback; Map Of The Soul: Persona.
He sits back and bites the inside of his cheek, deep in thought. If HELIOS was releasing their new album the same time BTS is, then you will most likely be promoting on music shows within the next coming months too. That meant more chances to pass you by in the studios and more time to figure out what the hell was your problem with him. Was it weird that the thought alone made him a little excited for your comeback more than his? His eyes caught sight of the show that just returned on air, now with you on screen teaching the hosts the moves of your latest single. He felt his cheeks heat up just a bit as he witnessed you sway your hips to the beat of your song before forcibly ripping his gaze away to look out the window instead. Yeah, it was pretty weird, and he really needed to stop dwelling on you so much. But that night, he laid in his bed, unable to get you out of his mind.
Even though he told himself to not get hung up over you, here he was under his covers at 3 AM scrolling through your Instagram, looking at every single selfie, candid shot, and freestyle dance video you’ve posted since your debut; still thinking about the fact that even though you intrigued him, you still didn’t like him. Eventually he scrolled back to your teaser photo he saw earlier that day, brows furrowing at your post before locking his phone out of frustration. Okay, he had to stop. At this rate he was going to turn into his sister, another  HALO sucked into the HELIOS craze. But was that really a bad thing?

Notice Me!~Kim Junmyeon/Suho x Black! R&B Star! Fem! Reader {2}
Tumblr media
Previous Parts: 1  2 3
Pairing: Suho x reader
Summary: With your support sent out to EXO as a fan and a potential collaborator, you awaken to a massive wave of support from your fans, along with fellow EXOls. However, a vocal majority of them aren’t too keen about you working with their bias band. All of this anxiety comes to a head as your supports push you towards the idea of a collaboration, including Suho himself.
Warnings: Toxic fans, racist comments and negative thoughts.
Writer’s Note: Here’s chapter 2, I hope you guys enjoy and let me know if you want any more EXO fics/series, requests are open! I also want to add that this is purely fictional, I don’t know Halsey (Ashley) personally, so if she acts a little odd I’m sorry. And another thing about this fic and others I write, the Kpop idols speak English, since I don’t want to butcher any translations or Korean words, since I do not speak the language. Maybe in the future, but not now! Thanks!
Word Count: 1, 583
I could hardly sleep at the sound of my phone buzzing like a madman. Of course the sun peaking through my blinds didn’t help, along with Ashley’s bed hogging ass. Next time I’m taking the couch instead of sharing my bed, jeez.
I shift over on my back to reach for my phone, it comes to life at my slight touch and overwhelms me with so many notifications I almost tumble from the bed.
“Mmh,” Ashley groans, “quit moving.”
She kicks my foot softly, but I don’t react at all, most of my attention is on my phone.
My Twitter bell icon stays red with a swarm of notifications, messages, likes and retweets. I’m trending, right underneath with EXO and of course BTS.
“Uh, Ash, look! Look!”
I nudge her a few times before she rolls over with hair stuck to her cheek and a scowl.
“Y/N, I-I need at least one more hou—”
“Look!” I scold.
We both stay captivated by the tiny screen as Ashley’s finger scrolls down some of the comments.
They read:
Um, SM we need a Empress Dee Dee/ EXO collab, stat!
Aw, Junmyeon was soo cute, I lowkey ship it!
Finally a Kpop band reaching out for a black artist, I wish someone would follow through too *cough, cough BTS
“Holy shit,” Ashley says, “they really love this idea, did your publicist call you about it yet? Y/N?”
Her voice is drowned out as more of the comments turn sour.
A lot of them read:
Western Artist X Kpop Artist= trash
Black people should stay with their own music, it wouldn’t mix with EXO’s sound
Gross, please don’t tell me Junmyeon has a thing for that black girl, why not a Korean woman?
They continue to flood my feed, most of them turning more daunting than the rest.
“Ok, enough Twitter for one morning,” Ashley says as she takes the phone.
“You’re right,” I say, “I need some more sleep.”
Ashley frowns as I lay back against my pillow and yank the covers up and over my face.
“Y/N, come on,” Ashley groans, “you seriously gonna let these assholes get under your skin?”
I nod against the sheets.
“Half of them are right Ash,” I say, “why would any of EXO collab with me? There are many other Kpop artists who are better anyway.”
“Um, but none of them are Empress Dee Dee, are they?” Ashley asks.
I shrug.
“They aren’t black though, Ash,” I note.
Ashley gives me an incredulous look.
“That’s got nothing to do with it,” Ashley growls.
Her words strike an unexpected nerve within me as I push the covers away and sit back up.
“Nothing?! “ I snap, “Ash, it’s everything to do with it! Racism still exists, even more prevalent now, especially with colorism still at an all time high!”
Ashley frowns.
“But I-”
I put a hand on Ashley’s own, the stark contrast of my brown skin and her pale one.
“I know, I know who are Ashley, but it’s different for women like me, and darker skinned black women,” I say, “I just need you to understand that, please.”
Ashley nods.
“I do,” she says, “but I need you to understand that it shouldn’t stop you! Don’t listen to what those assholes are saying!”
“Ash—”
“You love music, don’t you?” she asks.
Her question throws me off, yet I nod anyway.
“Of course I do,” I say.
“Then focus on making music, talk to your publicist and agent about that EXO collab!” she declares.
I watch Ashley in half awe, half amusement as she tosses the sheets onto the floor like the drama queen she’s being. Maybe she should shoot for the Academy Awards rather than Grammys next year.
“You know you gotta pick that up right,” I deadpan while gesturing to the splayed mess of covers below us on the floor.
Ashley turns her nose up, but softens as she comes around to my side of the bed, sitting next to me and taking my hand.
“Don’t worry about the fucking bed spread and listen to me,” she says.
I stare at her eyes, there’s this hint of desperation in them, as if I was the one who insulted her. Maybe I was a bit too much in my feelings. She cares about my wellbeing so much that I forget this affects her as well.
“Promise me that you’ll stay all right through all of this,” she says, gripping my hand skin tight.
I think of another comeback but save it for later.
“I promise Ash,” I vow, “now can you pick up the damn covers?”
Ashley frowns but rises to gather up the covers anyway.
“There. I’m doing it, now could you please call your publicist?”
A heavy sigh escapes my lips as I reach for my phone on the nightstand. More notifications flood, a few missed calls from Daphne, my publicist and Todd, my agent. Great, now I have to deal with them.
“I’m calling them back now, Ash,” I announce.
“Awesome,” she calls from the bathroom.
I decide to go with Todd first, since he left the most missed calls. My heart beats heart against the insistent ring of the phone, it drawing out a bit longer than it usually should.
“Hello, Y/N!” Todd calls.
I gulp before speaking.
“Hi Todd, look I-I know I should have contacted Daph first about posting that tweet.”
Todd chuckles through the phone.
“Y/N, that was a genius move! It seemed really genuine!” he exclaims.
I frown.
“Uh, I was completely genuine Todd, my heart was one hundred percent into it,” I say.
“Oh, well that makes it even better, because I’ve already got in contact with the producers on the Ellen Show, and since EXO will be there promoting Obsession, we can finally have you both in talks for a collaboration!”
My stomach nearly drops. It’s exciting news, right? Getting to meet my bias band in front of me instead of a tiny computer screen, yet the circumstances got me worried. In front of all those people. Some of them could be any of those people spouting out hateful comments.
“Er, Y/N,” Todd says, “you heard me, right?”
“I-I u-uh yeah!” I say, “j-just uh, fan girl nerves is all.”
Todd chuckles, but gets back to business as usual.
“No need to worry, it’s all scripted and Ellen has a way of making people calm, especially new guests,” he explains, “but this will really put you on the map! Considering you haven’t made a public appearance since your grammy snub and you’re gonna do it with one of the biggest kpop groups, ever! Don’t let those fangirl nerves get to you too much!”
I manage to cough up a tiny giggle.
“Of course Todd, thank you.”
“Already have a flight set up for you in the morning, I told you that you’d skyrocket soon, didn’t I?” he asks.
I roll my eyes but agree anyway.
“I know Todd, bye.”
“Get plenty of sleep, call me when you get there!” he urges before hanging up.
WIth him off the phone I can finally freak out in peace. Well until Ashley returns with her toothbrush a nosy look on her face.
“Shit, by that face I’m assuming it didn’t go well, did it?” she asks.
I shake my head and collapse backwards against the sheets.
“I-It went unexpectedly well,” I admit, “EXO’s gonna be on Ellen for the first time, and I got a spot on there with them.”
Ashley nearly jumps into the ceiling.
“Are you fucking serious?!” she exclaims, “it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet!”
I nod against my pillow.
“Right! God, I-I’m not ready for this,” I groan.
Ashley shifts closer to wrap an arm around my shoulder.
“You got this sweetie,” she whispers, “I’m gonna take the shower first, that cool with you?”
I nod as she rises.
“Oh and stay off Twitter,” she says as she goes back to the bathroom.
Of course I don’t listen as I unlock my phone yet again. My eyes scan through all of the comments: good, bad, ugly and downright unnecessary. My finger stops at a previous V Live EXO recently did, or a clip at least.
The caption of the video read:
Ya’ll Junmyeon is really out here caring about DeeDee, like a lot! When he gonna pull up 😂😂
I click it and there’s Suho, Baekhyun and Chen with soft looks, unlike the way they looked during their X-EXO concept stage. Beakhyun leans closer to the camera, scanning the comments I assume as Suho frowns.
“Of course not!” Suho growls, “why would anyone say that?”
“What is it hyung?” Chen asks.
Suho points at the screen.
“Someone said that we thought DeeDee was ugly, why would you insult a beautiful woman like that?” he asks in disgust.
My breath gets hitched in my throat at his words.
Baekhyun frowns this time.
“Aw, why are people making fun of DeeDee?” he groans, “don’t listen to them DeeDee! Stay strong! Keep smiling!!”
Chen nods sharply as Baekhyun continues to yell it obnoxiously.
Suho pushes him until he ceases and looks into the camera intensely.
“The people who are saying this aren’t our fans, DeeDee,” he explains, “you’re amazing, stay all right, ok? Ok!”
Suho grins as he puts up his finger hearts as his smile widens.
The video ends, yet it doesn’t within my head. EXO actually stood up for me. This has got to be a dream.

A long breakdown of everything that’s wrong with the situation
First I want to make clear that this is all not entirely Cube’s fault. I’m also blaming the psychotic fans who started this whole mess. I don’t want to say it’s all of fans based domestically in South Korea. But the fact is that majority of the hate and backlash came from kfans.
First of all, Cube made the mistake of not talking to their artists.
Rumors came out that Hyuna and Hyojong were dating, and Cube denied them. So the couple took it upon themselves to confirm their relationship of TWO YEARS. Now I just wanna point out that they’ve been dating that long without letting it get in the way of their careers. So they decide to share a part of their lives with their fans and they’re getting heat for it? Okay.
Anyway, Cube should have confirmed with them before making a statement. That’s how this mess started. Kfans got pissy claiming they were “financially and emotionally traumatized” while shutting down fan sites and boycotting E’Dawn. How can you call yourself a fan and demand a member of the group be removed just for being happy?
Cube put Hyuna and Hyojong on hiatus because of this so called “dating scandal.” They cancelled Triple-H promotions right in the middle of their comeback. Hyojong produced the title track and helped make the album for Pentagon’s recent comeback. He wasn’t able to participate at all. And a day after the comeback, he and Hyuna are kicked out.
What’s more, it’s implied that Cube didn’t discuss it with the couple, and they found out the same way we did. Through online articles. How do you think they felt about that bullshit?
But then Cube saw their stock market drop faster than a collapsed building and retracted their statement. We’re not idiots, Cube. We see you realizing you fucked up. But hey, this gives us a week to convey how furious we are as fans.
Moving on. In the midst of all this, Cube experienced more dating rumors. Pentagon’s Hui and Yuto were caught up in rumors with fellow labelmates from girl groups (G)I-DLE and CLC respectively. Then BTOB’s Sungjae was tossed into rumors with a member of girl group DIA, to which he quickly shut fans down in a very sassy BTOB way. Point is, these rumors all happened within a week’s time after Hyuna and Hyojong confirmed their relationship.
These idols are not your toys. They’re people just like the rest of us. You can’t treat them like dolls on strings attached to your fingers. They aren’t slaves. THEY ARE NOT YOURS.
I’ll take a moment to bring up BTS’ recent comeback. Their title track IDOL was said to be controversial, and a lot of fans have actually disregarded the hidden message in this song. You can’t control an idol’s life.
It seems as if international fans are way more forgiving and happy to hear if an idol is dating. For whatever reason, kfans are generally dissolved in some delusion that they have the opportunity that they’ll be together with their favorite idols. While anything is possible, you can’t let your jealousy control what you say and do.
By listening to the few antis instead of the mass fan base, Cube has essentially brought several people’s’ careers into jeopardy. Not only with their stock market continue to drop until the mess is fixed, and of course decide the fate of Hyuna and Hyojong’s careers, but they’ll also inevitably drag down the rest of their artists with them. The consequences of Cube’s decisions should not affect their other artists, but they will regardless. Collateral damage.
In light of this scandal, I want to point out several other cases that share similarities.
Super Junior’s Sungmin got married on 2014, and fans boycotted him when SUJU was making their comeback just this past year. Class A bullshit.
U-Kiss’ Eli got married and had a baby. People jumped shit on him for it. For fucking what?
People jumped on FT Island’s Minhwan after he got married and had a child. His fellow members had nothing but support for him.
I don’t understand what the fucking problem is with dating. Most companies don’t have dating restrictions but they want to punish artists for dating anyway. Even JYP thinks it’s bullshit and his company has a three year dating ban. Like, when EXO was on his late show, they were terrified to even say the word “dating.” JYP got on the fans saying “you can’t expect them to be single forever.” And he’s absolutely fucking right.
When Monsta X was touring in America recently and they were asked about dating, they all denied and I.M even said “That’s a dangerous question.”
Shit like this has idols terrified of having a normal life outside of their careers. That’s not fair to them after all of the hard work they do just to give us fans some sort of entertainment. They love their job and their fans, so why can’t we love them and support them in return without looking like a bunch of stuck up bitches?
Idk man. I have a lot of issues with this. I’ve only been into kpop for two years and I’ve seen so much heartbreak and bullshit that it kills me. I wish I could do something to change the way things are but by myself that’s impossible. We need to stand together as fandoms to help show our idols that they don’t need to be afraid of us. They shouldn’t be punished for being in love and having children.
Just let them be human.

Valentine’s Special
Tumblr media
Stray Kids Bang Chan x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Valentine’sDay!AU...?
A/N: woah you guys, two posts in a month, I feel accomplished. Anyways, happy valentine’s day! shout out to all my single ladies (and gentlemen and people) out there, love you, love yourself. Being single is cool. Being part of a relationship is cool, too. Have a great valentine’s day! I hope you like it!
“Oof,” I grunt, literally jumping onto my couch. Decked out in a sweatshirt 3 sizes too big for me, exercise tights and a beanie I haven’t washed for probably a good 2 months, I check out my surroundings.
Fried chicken? Check
Mint chocolate moose tracks? Check
Hallmark Channel on? Check
Box of chocolates on the table bought for me from me? Check
Work phone off (probably not the best idea but whatever)? Check
Two spoons? Check
I close my eyes, not really sad at all. I mean sure, some people think it sucks to be single on Valentine’s day, but then again, those are the people that aren’t single. They have to worry about doing all this stuff for their significant others, making sure they have presents, chocolates, flowers, whatever… Honestly though, it seems kinda burdensome. It’s nice not having to worry about all that as a single person. Besides, I have my best friend.
A sudden aggressive rapping of knuckles on the my front door interrupts the moment of calm I have before the commercial break ends on Hallmark Channel.
“__! Open the damn door, my hands are full!”
Rolling my eyes, I can’t help the smile that slips onto my lips. My neighbor and best friend for what seems like it’s been forever yells, also very aggressively, summoning me to aid his very urgent needs. I push myself off the couch and yell back.
“Hold your horses, Chan! Gimme time to climb out of this mountain of fried chicken and ice cream.”
“Hurry up, you slug! I swear, knowing you it’s going to be next year by the time you get to the door.”
“Don’t tempt me, boy.” The smile grows on my mouth. I don’t ever feel the need to have a significant other, because with a best friend like Bang Chan, I really don’t need one.
“__, do you want the snack foods I bought for you or not? I could just leave and share them with the other boys…”
“Okay, okay, I’m coming. Chill bro.” When it comes to food, I wouldn’t care if you were in a dark alley holding out some sketchy looking slime, food is my main motivation in life. Any threats saying you’d give my food to someone else and I will do anything so long as it means that that food is mine.
Hurrying my snail’s pace to the opening the door, I’m met with a cheeky grin decorating my best friend’s face.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, you single loser.”
I open the door wider for him to come inside, the smile on his face mirroring my own.
“Shut up, Chan, we both know you couldn’t get a girl for shit.”
He laughs, loud, boisterous, and lively, a beautiful, clear sound I know for sure I wouldn’t be able to live without.
“I’m hot and you know it.”
“Yeah, so is burnt noodles but they’re still ugly as fuck.”
As I’m shutting the door, Chan is still somehow able to shift all the bags of trashy and unhealthy food to clench his heart in mock hurt.
“I come here all the way from Seoul and you still treat me like trash? I’m hurt.”
I scoff, taking a bag.
“We’re still in Seoul, you twit. It only takes you like 10 minutes to get from the Entertainment building to my apartment by skateboard, 20-25 at the most walking.”
He chuckles lightly and sets the remaining bags down by the edge of the coffee table before collapsing on the couch. The second his head hits the cushions, he closes his eyes and lets out a long exhale. I start to feel guilty for making him wait at the door. He is a kpop idol afterall, and he works his ass off daily. I can only imagine how long he practiced today and what time he went to sleep this morning.
“Not my point, but true.”
Settling down beside my best friend, I open the bag, shuffling through the cheap food he got.
“Mmm… spicy beef ramyeon, chocolate, ace crackers, shrimp chips, sweet rice pies… did you get any hapi bing bing or choco pies?” I inquire, my eyes still on the food.
“Wha...?” I hear him say, mumbling through a half-sleeping mind. I smack his leg lightly to wake him up.
“Did you get any hapi bing bing?” This time, Chan manages to crack one eye open.
“No. I didn’t know what kind you wanted.”
“How about choco pies?” I set the bag down, looking over at him. He closes his eyes again, resting a forearm over his face and tosses another bag towards me.
“Should be in here.”
I’ve just opened and started to search the bag when my hand brushes against a familiar thin, rectangular box.
At that exact same moment, Chan’s eyes blink open in realization and he sits straight up, arms shooting out to grab the bag. I’m too quick though, and I pull out the well known box of chocolate Pepero sticks.
“Chan…” I squint at him, holding up the box. Never in the last 7 years has Chan gotten me a box of Pepero sticks. Tossing the box into his lap, I dig further into the bag and discover one, two, three more boxes of pepero sticks. White chocolate with cookie crumbles, strawberry, matcha…
He stares at me blankly, a pretty crimson pink quickly materializing on his cheeks.
“Uhm… Those were supposed to be a surprise.”
I laugh, placing the bag back onto the floor and cracking open a box.
“Why wait? You haven’t ever given me pepero sticks before. Something special happening today?” I ask, smirking. Though I’d never admit it verbally, I know very well that he’s attractive, as does my currently quickly beating heart.
From my peripheral vision, he gulps visibly, hands twitching slightly at his side.
“Ahh… I thought it’d - I don’t know - be fun to play the Pepero game today.”
I lean closer to my seatmate, trying to look as innocent as possible and pushing my lips into a duck face to tease the reddening boy beside me that’s doing everything in his power not to look me in the eye.
“Something you want to tell me, Chan?”
“No.” Without saying much of anything else, he grabs the box, opens the bag, and shoves a stick in my mouth.
“Don’t move and don’t bite down.” Looking up at the older boy in shock, there’s a spark of determination twinkling in his eyes. Taken aback by newfound courage in the what used to be the pink-faced shy boy beside me, I can’t really find it in me to mess around with him further.
Still as a statue, I watch, probably cross-eyed as he scoots closer and closer to the pepero stick poking out from between my teeth. It seems the closer he gets, the hotter my body temperature rises. My heartbeat is spiking drastically. My breathing is speeding up. My brain scoffs at me.
For someone who’s just fine being single, you’re sure getting nervous.
Finally, his mouth reaches the opposite end of the chocolate covered biscuit and his hand cautiously reaches towards me to cradle the back of my head. I can only stare as he nears me, his bites slow and careful. He gets closer and closer and his gaze fixes itself on me. For a moment, it seems time slows. My ringing heartbeat decelerates in my head and I’m holding my breath.
I’m frozen. One more bite and his lips brush mine, stuttering only for a second before fully enveloping them in a kiss.
I don’t know if it’s even possible, but I’m more frozen than before. Then, instantaneously, my body moves as if it has a mind of its own. My eyelids slide closed and my arms wrap themselves around my best friend’s lithe waist. I know I should pull away, I know I should stop myself, but his free arm slides me into his lap and his soft lips are plush and captivating.
Soon enough, he pulls away, breathing heavily. I’m left, still shocked, still breathless. The silence between us is deafening and I have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen next.
It’s Chan that breaks the silence with an awkward but welcome laugh.
“Is… Is there actually any of the pepero stick left?”
I immediately unfreeze as if that’s the magic phrase and laugh.
“I guess not.” Deciding that I don’t like sitting on his lap, rigid as an icicle, I lift his arm and relax into it.
All of a sudden, it’s him that’s gone stiff.
“Chan~” I whine. “It’s just me.”
“I know,” he all but whispers. “But I also happen to kinda like you.”
I giggle softly.
“So you did have something to tell me.”
He relaxes finally and hums,
“Yeah… I guess I did.”
“I kinda like you, too,” I mumble, subconsciously tracing random patterns on his taut stomach with my fingertip. His arms wrap themselves around me and he presses a kiss to the top of my head.
“That’s good. I’m glad.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Chan.”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, __, my favorite person in the whole world.”
I snuggle into my best friend and now significant other’s side, the hallmark movies and pepero sticks more or less forgotten.
“Wait… What was that you were saying about me not being able to get a girl for shit?”
“Shut up, Chan.”

Chapter 4
You were bent over Minhee's kitchen table, your head resting on your arms, the negative aura surrounding you nearly tangible. "I'm just so freaking embarrassed," you whined softly to Minhee.
You missed the sad smile she gave you, but felt the gentleness of her hand playing with your hair. "Why?"
Looking up at her, your brows furrowed in annoyance. "You know why."
She gave you a thoughtful look. "I do, but I also think you need to talk this out."
Sighing, you blew a loose strand of hair out of your face and sat up. "I'm embarrassed because I saw him as this thing he wasn't. I had this stupid crush on him that only led to me looking like a fool." You moaned and smacked your head back down on the table, pain radiating from the middle of your forehead almost immediately.
Minhee's lips pursed in annoyance as she lifted your head to examine the reddening circle forming on your forehead. "You're not a fool. You fell in love and wanted him to act as good as you saw him."
"What I saw was a lie."
"Oh, (Y/N). Sometimes, you're a little bit of an idiot."
Your head snapped up and you glared at your "friend". "You can't say that," you said, sounding scandalized.
"Why not?"
"Because you're my friend!"
She rolled her eyes and pinched your cheek. "Come on, no more moping. You need to focus on something else."
"Yeah? Like what?"
"Why not take a vacation? I know you've got a ton of days saved up."
Your brow furrowed. "You're right, I could do that. But who will work with Seungri?"
Minhee shrugged. "I'm sure YG will find a temp. Take a week break. Do nothing, or do everything. Just let yourself have a little fun."
 ***
 Where the fuck is she?
Pain ticked in Seungri's temples. Last week he'd arrived at a photoshoot, only to be handed an intern turned temporary assistant that would be his until you came back from vacation.
"(Y/N) asked for a week and a half off. So, in the meantime, little Woojin here is going to take over for her." His manager patted the boy's shoulder before lightly pushing his thin frame towards Seungri. "Take good care of him. I know you know how to be nice to assistants. Just don't be weird like you are with (Y/N)."
He glared at the manager. "What do you mean by that?"
"You know what I mean." He was implying the special care and attention Seungri would always give to you. A care that was lacking in professional relationships. "She'll be back soon. So, help Woojin learn the ropes, okay?"
It had only been three days, but felt like an eternity had passed, and he was entirely ready to throw Woojin to the wolves.
Why would she go on vacation now with no notice?
A quiet voice grabbed his attention. "Sir?"
Seungri tried to hold back the roll of his eyes. The new assistant was killing him. He stuck to his side like glue, had to be given instructions several times, and hid behind him whenever someone approached them.
He closed his eyes with a sigh, refusing to look over at the boy. "Yes, Woojin?"
"We need to head to makeup and wardrobe if we want to stay on time." His voice was so small and fearful, and for some ridiculous reason, it angered him.
Why is this kid so afraid of me?
Does he think I'm going to yell at him?
I'm not the kind of person to just yell at assistants.
Except he had been; he'd gone out of his way to yell at you. To hurt you. That thought was sobering to realize what kind of person he had become.
Before you, Seungri could ignore the feelings of others. He wasn't empathetic to his actions towards others. He only cared about his own success.
Then, there was you and he was forced to look at himself along the way he treated others. He was forced to consider what his actions would do before he could act on them.
It annoyed him.
Now he had to reanalyze the person he had become and decide whether he wanted to continue this self-centered path, or become the man you saw him as.
Seungri made a motion to Woojin to hold on for a moment. He reached into his pocket for his phone and checked for any new messages from you. There had been none.
He stood up straighter as an arm went around his shoulders. "Cheer up, bro, I'm sure your sweet assistant will be back in no time." Yongbae's arm tightened around Seungri as he tried to shrug it from his shoulders. "Stop struggling, you look like you need some affection."
Seungri could practically see Woojin becoming more distressed by the minute. "Sir, the timing."
"Hey, kiddo? He can spare a few minutes," Yongbae said before turning his attention back to Seungri. "As I was saying, she'll be back soon. You can apologize for being a dick, and I'm sure she'll forgive your ugly ass."
Again, Seungri tried to remove the offending arm from around his shoulders. "I don't need affection."
"Really? Because you looked like you were about to eat Woojin out of spite. Looked like you needed a little hug. Just a tiny baby one."
Woojin gasped, but both BigBang members ignored him.
"I don't need a little hug. Or one from a giant baby like you, for that matter."
"You didn't deny wanting to eat me," Woojin stuttered under his breath, but was again ignored.
Yongbae looked at Seungri with half lidded eyes and a smirk. "Maybe not from me, but I bet you do from (Y/N)."
Seungri yanked himself from Yongbae and glared at him. "She's an annoying kid that won't leave me alone. I'm glad she's on vacation. I don't have to clean up her messes."
His eyes went wide as a sudden realization came to him. He didn't know what she was doing. He didn't know where she was. He couldn't look after her.
What if she's hurt? What if she's sick? Is she pushing herself to hard?
Is she safe?
His attention turned back to his phone, and he quickly swipped your contact to call you. It went direct to voice mail. "Hey!" he yelled into the receiver. "What do you think you're doing? Who approved of this vacation? Why didn't you say anything? Are you eating healthy? Don't push yourself to do more than you can! I don't want to get a call in the middle of the night that you're in the hospital! You still have the emergency contact booklet I gave you right? If you get hurt, the hospital or someone else needs to know how to get ahold of me! Keep it in your purse, or your pocket if you don't take it! Hey! Hey! Give that back!" Yongbae had snatched the phone from him, and Seungri trying to get it back. His teeth ground together as Yongbae ended the call. "What the hell? I wasn't done yet!"
"You were done," Yongbae said, sounding exasperated as he rolled his eyes before handing back the phone. "Don't miss her my ass."
"I don't!"
"Sir," Woojin squeaked.
He swung around to glare at him. "What! What, Woojin?! What is so important that you have to keep 'Sir'ing me?!"
Yongbae gasped comically before pulling the younger boy into his arms protectively, patting his hair gently. "Don't yell at him. What has he done to you? Keep your anger to yourself over there. Come on, kiddo, I'll take you to lunch. Seungri's a big boy; he can take himself to makeup and all that. Let him live without an assistant for a few hours. He needs to learn how to be nicer to you guys and deal with his own problems, like feelings of love."
The pain in Seungri's head was growing worse, thanks to this ridiculous conversation. "I don't have 'feelings of love'!" he called after Yongbae, only to be ignored as he continued to direct Woojin out of the building.
He began again to rub his head as he moved towards makeup.
I don't love her.
I just worry about her.
If she isn't doing well, then I can't do well.
That doesn’t mean I love her.
She's cute, though.
I'll give her that.
 ***
"I'm so bored!" you groused loudly before groaning and tossing your arms out to slam against the softness of your bed.
In the week you'd taken for your vacation, you'd only left the bed to eat, shower, and use the bathroom. You'd binge watched one drama, and then another, and done nothing else.
You stuck your tongue out and glared at your phone.
If Seungri hadn't been such a dick I wouldn't be so bored.
The phone had been off for the week, requiring you to use your laptop for everything. The distance from your phone had given you a new appreciation for it. When cooking, you'd been forced to take your laptop into the kitchen with you for sound, unable to just play something off your phone. You thought by not using it you'd have read more, distanced yourself form technology. Instead you'd just traded it out for the desktop versions of every app you used and become dependent on your laptop.
Giving up your phone had been Minhee's suggestion.
"If you use your phone you're just going to keep checking for messages from him. We're trying to detox you. Got cold turkey on his handsome ass." She'd said this before taking the phone and powering it down for you. "If you need me, you can message me on Facebook." Minhee waved her phone happily at you with the messenger app pulled up.
"What about work? What if someone needs to get a hold of me?"
"It's called vacation. They aren't allowed to bother you with work stuff when you're taking a break. It's like against the rules or something."
"Bored!!!" you groaned again. "I'm so bored I could die!" You grabbed your blanket and rolled on to your stomach, tangling yourself within it. "I am now a burrito, and burritos don't get bored, and they don't fall in love. Burritos don't care about kpop idols, or social constructs of feelings. They don't care about boys. Even ones that are stupidly handsome. And kind. And caring. They don't have the capacity to care about others. They are beautiful, emotionless beings... I am a burrito."
I'm weird is what I am.
You sighed and pressed your face down against the mattress. "You will get over him, (Y/N). You will. You have no other choice."

Strike-out
Tumblr media
Pairing: Ljoe/Byunghun x Reader
Genre: Smut
Word Count: 1756
Not Requested
A/N: I’m back! I fell out of the writing mood for a while, so sorry for the sudden leave! But then Teen Top came and ruined my life all of the sudden, so I guess I got my inspiration from that haha. Enjoy babes!
-Admin Kiwi
Byunghun had an infamous saying, “I’ll hold back three times”, and you were willing to test out its validity
Byunghun had an infamous saying, “I’ll hold back 3 times”, and you were willing to test out its validity.
You were aching for his touch, anything that would put you out of this deprivation. Byunghun had just returned home a few weeks ago after his world tour, and you had given him time to rest. However, you were growing impatient. Of course, he needs his time to settle in, but you’d been deprived of him, especially sexually, for so long. He had to understand.
You bolted up from bed when you heard the familiar sound of the door unlocking, and ran out to greet your boyfriend. You smiled at the sight of Byunghun in shorts and a muscle tank, that revealed his sturdy biceps. Judging by the thin layer of sweat that masked his skin, he probably just returned from practice. Being a kpop idol was hard, it required nonstop work.
“Hey babe” he brings his free arm around you, kissing the top of your head. Although he smelled a bit dank, you still enjoyed being wrapped into him.
“How was practice?” you murmured, still pressed against his chest.
“Hmm Andy’s already got a schedule planned for our next comeback. It’ll still be a while before we get extremely busy though,” He looks down, smiling, “Don’t worry, I’ll be able to spend lots of time with you before then.”
His career took a toll on your relationship, which was secret of course since fans would sometimes go delusional at the sight of their bias with another girl. Byunghun was also extremely busy, and his schedule would leave hardly any time for you. Nonetheless, you two still pushed through, knowing your love would prevail.
“I have to go shower, but I’ll join you in bed later okay?” he gives you another kiss, this time on the forehead, and promptly makes his way towards the bathroom.
You frowned a little, disappointed he didn’t invite you with him to shower like he used to. It’s been months since you guys did anything near sexual, and it was starting to drive you insane. While he was away on tour, nights grew lonely, and sometimes you could only think of the times you two showed love in other less innocent ways.
You missed how his long, but firm fingers would feel over your body, and the love bites he’d leave down your neck. Your cheeks flushed when you remembered those times he’d tease you, keeping you from pleasure, but still satisfying you in the end. And suddenly, you snapped
“Hey babe, can you hand me a tshirt?” Byunghun asks innocently from the bathroom. When he hears no response, he steps out, still towel-drying his bleached hair.
“Sure.” You emerge from the shadows, tossing him one of his black t-shirts, but keeping in mind that it’ll probably be thrown on the floor a while later.
“Woah, what’s with that get-up?” he eyes you, shocked at your outfit. You were wearing a skin-tight black dress, cropped right below your butt that hugged all your curves nicely. You were wearing the black stilettos that you had sworn to never wear because of the fear of breaking your ankles in them, but that’s not the point here.
“Oh I’m going out with the girls.” you said nonchalantly, starting to walk away slowly, leaving enough time for Byunghun to yank you back by the wrist.
“Dressed like that? Are you going to an exotic dance performance...as the dancer?!” he exclaims, eyes widening.
“No, I’m just going clubbing with friends. I don’t see what’s wrong Byunghun.” you crossed your arms, pretending to act ticked off.
“As your boyfriend, I don’t allow you to go out like that. Some other guys might think otherwise and try to hit on you! Do you know how many weirdos are out there at this time?” you could tell he was heating up to, and that encourages you to push him more.
“Well I’m still going out. I have friends, I’ll be fine.” you exasperate.
“Y/n, no. You’re staying home tonight.” Strike one.
“What if I don’t want to?” you sneered, leaning in as an attempt to create sexual tension. Byunghun looks down, with his tongue running over his molars, and you could tell he was trying to hold back. Strike two.
“Babe, you don’t want to know what’ll happen if you insist on going.” he smirks, and you knew you were going to get it tonight.
“Try me.” And with that, it was Strike three, and you were out.
Byunghun pushes you against a wall, pinning your hands up. Using his free hand, he strokes downwards from your cheek to your neck lightly, evoking a moan.
“You think I was going to let you out like that? You’re not allowed to show anyone what a pretty little slut you are except for me” his dirty talk turned you on even more, and you could feel yourself melting in front of him.
With that, he starts attacking your lips, hungrily sucking and exploring your mouth. His lips molded perfectly against yours, and you moaned contently against him. Still kissing you passionately, he pushes you down on the bed.
“Damn, do you know how many times I thought about fucking you these past few months?” he says while peppering kisses down your neck.
“And you go right out and disrespect me by dressing like that to go out? I don’t think so, Y/n. You’re not gonna be let off easy today.” he sucks on your neck hard, and you let out a stifling moan. He glances up and smirks, pleased at how much he was affecting you. Byunghun sits up and stares at the dress you have on with a disapproving look, reminded of your claims of going out.
“Well we aren’t going to need this anymore.” and Byunghun roughly flips you over, and tears the dress off you.
“Hey! That was expensive!” you exclaimed at the sound of torn fabric.
“I wasn’t gonna let you wear it anyways.” he cuts off any further complaints with a deep kiss. “I’ll buy you something else okay?”
His fingers trail down your heated torso, admiring your silky skin. He gets to your hip, and is stopped by your lace underwear. Seeing this, you immediately took off the panties yourself, in fear of Byunghun ripping this off as well.
“My baby knows me so well doesn’t she?” He gives you a glance before looking back down at your lower body, and his fingers start dancing around the area where you need him most.
“B-byunghun please” you moan, desperate for his touch. He merely smirks at you, and continues his torturous act.
“That’s what you get for disobeying me.” and he leans his head down, kissing the insides of your thighs, skipping over your throbbing hood.
“Please, I need you.” you moan again, throwing away what was left of your dignity.
“How much do you need me?” Byunghun ponders, fingers still tracing around your area.
“Byunghun just please me already!” you screamed out, the neediness finally getting to you. Byunghun, rather delightfully surprised by your assertiveness, dives his fingers into your dripping core.
“You’re already this wet for me huh you little slut?” you could only reply back in moans. He fingers you mercilessly, slowly adding 2, and then 3 fingers, but still keeping his fast pace. Your moans drive his stamina, and his pumps keep hitting deeper parts, until he finally hits your g-spot. Your mind goes white, overcome by pleasure.
“I-I’m coming!” you scream, ready to release, but then nothing. Confused, you open your eyes to see Byunghun examining his fingers, dripping in your essence.
“Why didn’t you let me come?” you exclaim, frustrated.
“Punishment,” and he gives you a cheeky wink. He cleans off his fingers in one lick, and starts taking off his own clothes. He takes off his boxers last, revealing a painfully erect member, pink and hard. He leans over to the bedside drawer and pulls out a condom, slipping it on smoothly.
Your mouth waters at the sight of him, and you lunge forward, taking his whole member into your mouth. Byunghun lets out a deep groan as your warm, wet mouth engulfs him completely. The noises of pleasure he made ranged from deep grunts, to elongated groans.
Using one free hand, you fondled his balls, over stimulating him. Lightly, you scraped your teeth against him as you bobbed up and down. At the hard contact of your teeth, Byunghun reaches out and grabs you roughly by your hair, and thrusts upward hitting the back of your throat.
“Shit Y/n, I’m close.” he groans, eyes shut, brimming with pleasure. Hearing those words, you stop, tearing yourself away from him, wiping the saliva that lined your lips.
“What the-”
“Payback’s a bitch,” you responded with a wink. Byunghun however, wasn’t up for any more games. He flips you over onto your hands and knees, and quickly lines himself up against your core. Slowly, he pushes himself in, careful not to hurt you.
“You’re so fucking tight,” he says, still trying to force more of himself into you. You wince at the stretch, but you knew the slight pain would be over soon.
When you felt ready, you nudge Byunghun to signal him to move. Taking no time, he starts off a steady pace, quickening into rough, hard thrusts. Every time he would snap his hips back, you felt him hit a different, deeper area. Your walls pulsated around his throbbing cock, and you were moaning uncontrollably.
You reached down with a hand, trying to add to the pleasure by rubbing your clit. However, Byunghun smacks it away, taking over that role himself. He glides over your soaked clit skillfully, turning you into a screaming mess.
“I-I’m close!” you manage to shout out, and you could tell by his spastic thrusts that he was near as well. You came first, with Byunghun kept up his pace, helping you ride out your high. Soon after, he comes as well, and you could feel the warmth of his seed through the thin condom.
After cleaning off, you both collapse onto the bed, exhausted.
“You know, I wasn’t gonna go out anyways.” you confessed, remembering your scheme.
“What?” Byunghun asks, clearly confused.
“Yeah I just wanted to get you in the mood,” you blushed, realizing how far you went just for sex.Whatever,  it was worth it.
“So, I got mad at you for nothing?” your boyfriend was still surprised, shocked that something so devious could come out of you.
“Hey, it got me much-needed action, so I don’t mind.”

4am random thoughts cause i cant sleep (tbh its mostly kpop related)
my sleep schedule is all sorts of fucked up w/ going to bed at 6am & waking at 12pm & it doesnt help that its hella hot & i have to wake up cause im sweating everywhere
i regret not getting my license earlier cause i would just drive to blast the ac
also went to my first club & even tho some moments were pretty sketch i wanna go again but that just might be because i want to drink again
was watching some jbj videos & i really miss...why couldnt they extend their contracts :( at least kenta & sanggyun get to have a permanent duo :)
hotshot also needs a comeback cause jelly was a bop & i need more
you know who else needs a comeback: Pristin w/ kyla too
its been a couple days but its still dumb what edawn hui & pentagon have to go through for dating. “Fans” are too delusional like chill. Shine was such a good song & cause of this shit theyre gonna lose the momentum they were getting :((
Bless SM entertainment for releasing Bad Boy Eng Ver. & completing my life. but why did they change “who dat boy” to “who dat is” like it wasnt necessary since it was already english but do you i guess?
Time for sad Wanna One hour cause they had their 1st year anniversary
them turning 1 year old makes me happy yet sad at the same time cause they did so much in that 1 year but also theyre closer to disbandment :(
tbh i didnt even p101 when it was airing cause i thought it was over hyped & theres too many people on it
oh boy was i wrong... i ended up watching it like a month after the show ended & the group was formed... i think it was cause i saw the shape of you performance & the comments said the audience was saying encore to them? anyways i watched it & got invested in it & even tho i knew the results already i still stressed
time out real quick to talk about produce48
tbh im kinda disappointed in how p48 is going. Cause like p101s1 & p101s2 had like legendary stages like bang bang or sorry sorry but this season doesnt really have any at least imo. Like the side to side & im sorry performaces were good but they werent bang bang or shape of you good
the rankings are also kind of messing me up. cause in the first two seasons there were some trainees that pretty much stayed in the top 11 & it was obvious they were gonna be part of the group but this season it keeps fluctuating so much (tbh im not really paying to it that much so i dont really know). i also might be kindof sad that sakura might not get 3rd place cause i find it funny that the past 2 seasons had the center ending up in 3rd place but im just weird like that. also chaeyeon’s ranking is throwing me off cause shes really talented but it might end up in a samuel situation again where they ranked high at the beginning & are falling in ranks now... gaeun also deserves to get in the top12 highkey hoping it doesnt become a nuest situation cause she doesnt really have a group to go back to
alright back to sad wanna one time
anyways altho im sad theyre gonna disband im pretty curious to see what theyll do afterwards
cause ong will probably go into acting but is fantagio planning to put him in an actual idol group or is he gonna be put into an acting group like 5urprise... at this point i think it would be stupid to not put him in an idol group cause i think fantagio would be wasting his dancing if he was in an actor group... like i heard he was an actor trainee & was gonna be in Surprise U but he wanted to be an idol instead so he went on Broduce...he’ll prob end up being like eunwoo or something
daehwi & woojin are pretty much set at BNM w/ having a group w/ MxM & w/ maybe some other trainees...but i think BNM should create another group or unit w/ the trainees that would join them so they wont be overshadowed by the Broduce boys when they officially debut
jaehwan will prob have like an indie/acoustic solo & guanlin has his group set w/ seonho
minhyun & sungwoon get to return to their groups but it all depends on how their company does with promoting them... i dont see much of problem for nu’est since their popularity skyrocketed & pledis might actually care about them for once hopefully they won’t do them dirty... hotshot on the other hand is concerning since it is a small company but it would be stupid of them to not do anything since sungwoon & taehyun got popular from broduce & hojung & timoteo got attention from the unit & unb but its all up in the air
im worried for jihoon & jinyoung cause theyre from small companies & they dont really seem to have any plans for them
its also a toss up for daniel & jisung. they do have their own label(?) but the MMO trainees they were with on the show left the company & jisung has to enlist soon. daniel can have a solo career cause hes pretty much the nation’s it boy rn but i feel like he is better suited to be in a group
man i really wished that i could go kcon to see them live before they disband but thats not going to happen :(((((((
damn this is longer than i expected oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
