#okay in all seriousness though i fucking loved it #hands down favorite episode was earth rake #but also contending is stockiverse and.. Bouillabaisse.. #i really love how family focused this season is. dont get me started on tervo. i love how much nicer everyone is to each other #except for them really juicing up korvo’s bitchiness in super gooblers (which i guess was meant to push jesse into her confrontation) #speaking of korvo his voice was a delight this season. just so expressive and is now up there with the rest of the casts distinct voices #i guess trying to ease back into finales that end with a season reset #and why didnt pupa change color?? #overall it was pretty fucking great. had black spots in my vision during the invisible kitchen scene #tervo this season was fucking crazy my god what are they gonna do for the valentine special #UGHHH. they really keep raising the bar every season. We are going from 2d sprites to hyperrealistic 3d models #H2O au #Cruddy rambles #See in the new edition Celor actually isn't around when Ignis bargains with Leviathan and the pact itself is now fully fleshed out and a #Very conscious decision on his part after visiting the Lux Et Umbrae exhibit at the Lucis Royal Museum because there was a whole thing #With a marilith and Noct getting hurt and being terrified and then going to Tenebrae leaving Ignis behind to wonder wtf was going on and #Regis acting sus around him afterwards and then leviathan tricks him because he's 8 years old literally a child and he signs away his #Future in order to get what he wants #Vs the old version where it just sorta. Happens. Because he got sad for a little bit. #The spelldaggers thing is conversely LESS complex in the HD remake. Because it added nothing to the actual plot and this is long enough as #It is. And I just….*inserts no fear one fear meme* 😭 I can actually see that happening as well, and not just that I could see them adding more on to Enji scenes or adding anime only scenes like they did in S5!

Because well that’s exactly what they did in S5 they rid us of a canon scene, a canon scene that could have cleared up some of people’s queries as well stop arguments. As still to this day people argue that Rei burnt him with the boiling water, which she did but that was not the cause of the scar. The cause of the scar was her trying to heal him with her ice, which is one thing you should not apply straight to a burn wound. Like they rid us of that scene, but they 1) added that moment with Enji and Fuyumi and 2) focused in on the training scene moment where Rei tried to intervene with Shouto’s “training”! Now don’t get me wrong I was fine with those scenes being added, but I truly despise them for cutting that scene. It’s a tragic moment but that scene of Rei trying to heal her son, it wouldn’t have made it less tragic but it would have added more context/emotions to moment. Anyways, I can actually see what that tweet said happening, whether it’s that scene or another scene cut, I can see it happening. Like I’m genuinely both excited and dreading the animated version of Dabi’s dance, and 301/302 because finally we’ll see baby Touya animated but also…..the discourse 😭! It’s all going to happen again, arguments, terrible takes and anger everywhere!

I'm trying to make the sunlight on the left side feel brighter and more like actual sunlight than just warm-tinted diffuse light. admittedly I don't think it looks like there's a huge difference between the before and after images here
