Oh I'm sorry anon. I hope your leg gets better and people stop bugging you about it. I do have like, not chronic but pretty persistant back pain so I get not being able to do much.

You've been with the Hewitt's for around eight months now. Your leg thankfully has been fine up until this week. When you were a kid you has some damage done to one of your leg muscles. You've mostly healed but every once and awhile it starts acting up and it gets very hard for you to walk. Before you came here you had crutches and a cane to help you get around when you needed it. But now here you don't have anything.
You've been doing easier work this week and Thomas has been helping you get around. Hoyt's been giving you glares and making comments under his breath. This came to a head when you're helping jar vegtables when Hoyt walks in and sees you sitting down.
"How long is this leg thing gonna last?" he asks. You deeply exhale and keep your eyes on the cutting board.
"The longest episode has lasted three weeks. I think it'll go away soon."
"I better be gone soon. It's been too damn long since you've been pulling your weight around the house and I'm getting tired of it. You better find a way to get more done or fix that leg of yours. You're starting to act like a leech round here." He leaves the kitchen and you bite your bottom lip to hold back tears. You finish cutting up tomato's and set down the knife. You wipe off your hands and take a shaky breath.
You're not gonna cry here, someone will probably find you and that will just worsen how much of a burden you are. You push yourself up and grip onto the table. You start to hop to the doorway and hold on tightly to the doorway. You take a deep breath and move over to the wall. You hold onto it as you make your way outside to the backyard. You push open the door and slowly go down the stairs. You finally get to a chair and you collapse into it. Tears start flowing. The emotional pain you're feeling outweighs the physical pain from moving without support from anyone else.
You quickly wipe off your face when you hear the back door open.
"I'm sorry I just need some air. I'll get back inside soon," You say looking over expecting Hoyt. But you find the comforting image of Thomas making his way to you. His eyes are widened and he's focusing on your leg. He kneels down and holds your hand, "Oh Tommy I'm fine. Hoyt was just being a bit mean." He shakes his head and gently touches your leg. You wince and he pulls his hand away.
You rest
He signs, "Thomas I'm fine. Hoyt says I need to work more and I just need to help out more. Just help me back inside so I can go work more," He sighs and picks you up gently. He adjusts you in his arms and carries you back inside. Past the kitchen and up the stairs, "Thomas I'm fine ok? I need to help out more. I don't need rest." You say. He simply shakes his head and takes you back to your shared room. He sets you in the bed and elevates your leg. He grabs a book you've been reading and sets it on the night stand.
"Thomas really I need to help out more. I don't need to rest." You try to get up but he pushes you back down.
Rest now
He signs, "Fine I will. But I'm gonna have to make it up later. I love you."
I love you too
He signs. He gives you a kiss on the forehead and leave you to rest.

OK SO I FINALLY WATCHED SEASON 2 OF HAMEFURA AND
It makes me so happy?? Idk everytime I watch this series or read the light novels it just gives me serotonin
I enjoyed the first episode it was definitely fun and cute but the second episode oh my- I read the light novels and the amount of times I got shocked from some scenes (specifically when g boy, nicol, and keith were literally fighting in the stage) are uncountable, I'm not sure if some of the scenes from the play were from the light novel because it's been a long time since I read it but if some of them were anime original I have to give them props for that
The second episode definitely made me root for nicol and maria A LOT
Don't get me started on alan and g-boys relationship with their older brothers it's really cute and wholesome especially when geoffrey (is that how you spell his name-) hugged alan in the first episode

I cannot express this enough, i remember reading the light novels and just not taking the time to imagine how the new characters looked (even though they were described already I just didn't piece them together) but oh my gosh did the anime do these characters right the character designs were really cute and I definitely missed this series a whole lot
Just like I said earlier here- it's been a while since I've read the novels and I probably won't reread them unless I have time so I'm really looking forward to how the anime goes

S2 Episode 2 is based on the light novels, but most of the content is anime original, like the fight between the boys XDD. It's a really fun addition, and honestly I kinda died of second hand embarrassment just watching it all happen jshdgfjhsdf the anime's addition won a lot of points for Nicol which is amazing uwu. I hope the next anime-only bits are gonna be as fun and less cringy than the ones form the previous season lmao.
I'm so happy that people are finally acquainted with Geoffrey (or I guess Jeffrey) and Ian!! They are such fun characters and I can't wait to see everyone's opinions on them :DD I also can't wait to see what kind of stories and headcanons people are gonna have for them! They bring a lot of fun character interaction possibilities >:DD
YES, THANK YOU FRAY AND GINGER ARE SO CUTE I AGREE SO MUCH!! I've always been intrigued by them ever since encountering them in the light novels (if it wasn't obvious enough) and I was afraid that they were just gonna stay as random background characters forever, but i'm so happy that the anime made them look unique and adorable! They look much better than my ugly fan designs from a few months back lmao. If you were intrigued by them when you first read the novels, I hope you're prepared for when they adapt their web novel chapter :DD (hopefully they do) because they really do have potential to be more solid members of the cast.
Like I said, I'm so happy to know that you're enjoying the series again :DD If you wanna get up to date with these characters, I hope you'd pick up the novels again :DD I heard there's a sale on it right now^^ From here is where we can really tell how well the se\ason is gonna adapt the material, so it can go really high or really low from here (here, being S2 EP4).

Haha its fine! Im book anon for a reason so take all the time you need! Before I start, I wanna apologize for the possible asks you got about the merch and hybe in general. I didn't intend to cause stress and need to be careful bdjahdsj so slap me with a fish!
Onto the ask! But agreed, I mean before the big kpop boom we saw, this was very common. Build a decent fanbase and then move to Japan or China. (Of course sometimes you see INSTANT movement in other countries but that depends on the company and such but you know what I mean) but since we do have the more global kpop era, we may see more companies do America which isn't a bad thing. It makes sense buisness wise so they will jump on it after debut or something. Thus I don't see it a bad thing for kpop groups to promote in America because hey, if in Korea they do sell western artist music who also tour there, kpop groups can also do the same ya know?
Now onto the hybe comment, I will try not to speak too much on it so I will try to summarize. I think my theory is due with merch from their main artist, they think maybe it could work with svt which maybe could but svt has a different fanbase so throwing on random merch won't make fans really want to buy (not saying some won't which kudos to you! As a fan you are allowed to consume what you please except not be a bad apple about it) so thus like the infamous water bottles which was done for bts, they thought why not do it for svt because bts fans sold it out apparently for a 2nd wave of it being sold again. (Which to this day idk why someone in the hybe team thought this was smart. Like...this is just in bad taste imo) I do wanna agree that it appears that hybe doesn't seem to have a proper art team for svt because while sometimes wild, I do know for their main artist they do have thoughtful merch based around say an album concept I recall. Kf course they will make mistakes i.e. the water bottles. I do wish it can improve because even though it is capitalism, I think fans do want decent merch. We have seen interesting ideas like svt making their own magazine and selling it lol. Of course it is hard to please because some fans want subtle merch ideas while others don't mind the vibrant pastel colors we got or some want wild ideas like svt figurines or something. Overall I hope I didn't drag this too much as I just wanted to respond back to you, I agree with many points you said so yeah cx I say let's also wait as this is barely what, a year or even less of svt being under hybe properly. Especially when hybe had its rebranding and expanding so things are being changed, I know fans are worried about this which is valid but let's not panic just yet. Let's come back in a year to this and see what has improved and what hasn't. (OK but peldis sold the boys rings!? :o since when!? I haven't heard of this actually, when did this happen if I may ask?)
Oof yeah sadly with streaming, many view "oh you don't stream it means you aren't a fan" when isn't the case (which is why I personally don't like when certain companies also do "listening parties" which seems a bit ???) I do remember this popped up big in 2017 but many fans called it out so it quiet down a bit. Like we didn't see it so often where fans were causing problems over it so idk why this returned nor what the cause of it was.

Like game boy is just so creative with the way it was made. As a video game nerd, it is perfection. I could make an essay about this song lol and heaven's cloud is just...wow. I feel so at ease with the song, comfortable and soothed. Like you are on a cloud lol. Also that is totally fine! Rtl was a grower for me (I blame the mv, it didn't do the song jusitice) but it is a bop and can't stop humming the chorus at random moments. Overall a great summer album. Just imagine any of these songs performed live ndjansns

and yeah i agree! i don't think it's a bad thing for groups to promote in the US, as you said, it's similar to groups expanding their fanbase by promoting in china or Japan or other asian counties, it makes sense from a business standpoint and there's nothing wrong with promoting in different countries. i just wish that some kpop stans understood that western and/or global popularity is a bonus and not a requirement for success. while they do have a global appeal, at the end of the day kpop's main audience is korea, and groups that achieve popularity in Korea have already achieved what they set out to do. but there's unfortunately a decent chunk of international fans that prioritize western popularity over anything and can't fathom that a group can be successful without being popular in the US. or they just talk as if their groups western achievements are more valuable than their Korean ones and to me that starts to look like xenophobia... (sorry if I'm repeating anything i said before in regards to this, i feel like i am but I'm too lazy to go back and check OTL)
since you sent this ask hybe released the caratland merch which was actually really nice, and today they also announced that there will be birthday merch for cheol (and presumably all members from here on out). we don't know what the bday merch is yet but some carats are already a bit miffed that hybe is even thinking to capitalize off the boys' birthdays... i bring both of these up bc i feel like the caratland merch proves your point that hybe is capable of designing good and thoughtful merch, and honestly this does reassure me a bit. but on the other hand them trying to capitalize off the boys' birthdays also proves that they still don't fully understand carats wants and priorities as a fanbase. which, if the future of seventeens merch is gonna be quality merch with some shitty cash grabs in between, i can live with that. I'm not gonna like the shitty cash grabs and i think it would be in our best interest as a fandom to not go crazy buying those shitty cash grabs, because if we don't then hybe will hopefully stop wasting their time and put more effort into /quality/. but if we get quality merch for important events like concerts and fanmeetings, i can live with it. as you said too, it can take time for these things to change, and we should all recognize that. but at the same time merch specifically is market driven, so i don't think it's a bad thing if people like @ hybe on twt about any bad merch that comes out in order to drive that change dhfkfj
but also on a maybe more fun note in regards to the merch... with some carats being upset about the bday merch i was thinking about what hybe could do for merch instead that would fill the niche of being at intervals throughout the year that could still be limited time drops but that carats wouldn't be mad at them capitalizing on and then i was like duh! they could literally just make merch off of going seventeen! honestly I'm surprised they haven't yet. maybe not merch for every episode, but they could have a line of permanent gose merch w a basic logo or something and then release limited time merch themed around some of the more popular episodes at various points during the year. I'm actually kind of obsessed with this idea now and for once I'm like hybe/pledis please capitalize off of this!! dhfkgjg
they never actually sold them, but for seventeens 3rd anniversary, pledis planned to sell replicas of seventeens rings. after it was announced carats were understandably upset since the boys worked so hard for those. luckily pledis heard carats concerns and put out an apology and didn't manufacture them in the end. I'm glad that at least they listened to carats even though it would have been better if they had never considered the idea in the first place :(
oh yeah listening parties are definitely just another marketing technique to boost streams. i think like with a lot of marketing techniques, it just depends on the execution. imo if they're done well it can be a good way for fans to connect while listening to an artists music, which is mutually beneficial for the company, but i can totally see a situation where companies get greedy and push it too hard. i don't know anything about what happened with them back in the day, but if you're curious why SVT had listening parties leading up to your choice, they were set up by UMG, the American distributor that SVT worked with for this cb. in this case the listening parties weren't just for boosting streams, but also likely for UMG to gauge interest. SVT isn't officially signed to a US label yet, but UMG's data from the listening parties could be used to show US labels whether or not there's enough interest for them to be signed. which if that happens we'd almost definitely see a more permanent US shop!

yes! heavens cloud and gam3 bo1 are both such feel good songs! my sister actually added heavens cloud to their Spotify after i made them listen to the album in the car dhfkf it's now one of 6 kpop songs they have saved (4 of which are SVT... my influence 💅 DHFJFH) I'm certain we'll see some of the songs from your choice at caratland this year, hopefully it's all of them but I'd especially like to see heavens cloud and wave 👀 I'm also still crossing my fingers for an i wish live performance bc i can't believe my favorite SVT b-side is one of the TWO tracks they haven't performed live not including the new album (the other one being network love, which i would also like to see live!)

second part of that long ask from ur swf anon :)
after the main dancer was chosen for each class, they would complete the choreo and decide formations for their performances. one of the benefits of the main dancer was that they were always center. they also had the benefit of wearing more embellished clothing to stand out (most noticeable in x class, where rian the main dancer was wearing orange while everyone else was wearing green). here is the full list (mnet truly has the WORST camera angles, so i only included the full cam ver of the performances):

i'm not sure how much creative input the main dancers were given regarding stage design... they didn't show it in the episode so i'm assuming that mnet just told them to show up and perform (because like, the rainbow thing they shot at the end of the leader's performance seemed so random? it didn't match what they were doing). after each performance, the main dancers from each class were asked to pick someone who they thought was the worst dancer. in doing so, the person chosen would lose points for their crew.
judges also chose an mvp crew they thought were the best. prowdmon (monika + lip j + others [sorry i don't know their names. the show really only focuses on these two]) was selected and this gave them the advantage of choosing which crews went against each other in ep4. so, it wasn't a random lottery draw! in the episode, they only showed the part where prowdmon chose to go against wayb (context: no:ze, the main dancer from the leader class, chose monika as the worst dancer. and this made her mad so she was like we're going against wayb - no:ze's crew). i'm not sure why they didn't show how the other crews were paired up. because ya, coca n butter + hook is definitely an interesting match.
also like, wayb was eliminated from the show after ep4's mission.

and it seems like from here on out, there will be a mission each episode to determine who will be eliminated. i'm honestly not too sure. for their next mission, they're doing a mega crew mission and mnet doesn't really explain it; but it seems like each crew is doing a performance on a larger scale (with more members added to their crew). also, like mnet is ass and doesn't upload all the performances onto their channel..... they only upload the ones that were the most popular/had the biggest public reaction which is why i had a hard time finding the clips for the classes mission. hopefully they do from here on out.

(also, pls let me know if i'm oversharing. u mentioned not caring for the competitive nature and drama so i'm not sure if i was adding too much. there really isn't drama imo. mnet tries to do their best to edit and make it seem that way but when u watch the show, the girls truly root for each other and are friends.)
mnet truly has the worst camera angles i hate them so much. also why are they still streaming on a goddamn potato. the quality is SO bad i can barely see anything!! there's a lot of me complaining in this one i'm sorry in advance.
1. assistant class
i have to assume that whoever they chose as the main dancer is the one that stays in centre because i cannot tell from the clothing at all. i don't think she was a standout performer here, but also the camera and the fire effects are WAY too wild to actually get a good grasp on who even was the standout. i also have to assume that the dancers have no say in the design because design is not a big part of street dance and this kind of chaos screams m 'too-much-money-dont-know-how-to-use-it' net. they built this massive set, barely used it, and didn't leave enough room for the proper formation spacing!! ugh. i hope the judges actually got to see a locked off version of this without all that fire in front of the camera because if i were them i would be squinting down the end of my glasses like a grandma at the screen. that's what i was doing anyways but still.
2. leader class
i have to agree, i don't think noze stood out as the main dancer here. and geniunely i cannot tell that they embellished her costume more. like damn, that stylist took a masterclass in subtlety, because i was easily paying more attention to whoever was wearing those massive thigh high cutout garter stockings and woven bodysuit combo. i am assuming that the point of these challenges was probably to be noticed the most so that they can score points and pick who they went up against for the elimination round? i'm not entirely clear but my point remains; ngl i don't really like this method of creating performance because it means that no one is there to create a performance, yanno? troupe/group choreo like this thrives on teamwork to actually make it a good performance. i know it's a pretty classic method of weeding out people for auditions and stuff like that but personally i find it a wholly uncompelling viewing experience, especially when it's a fully produced stage like this. i know everyone very likely gets along behind the scenes but the incohesion of intent is very obvious. also what's up with the assistant class getting a massive set and the leaders getting a bunch of cars and some smoke pyrotechnics? i mean, i am glad they filmed it during the day, but i am confused by the disparity.
3. sub class
i wish i could describe how poorly mnet shot this. it's not a fucking mama stage, it's a dance stage!! we need to see the choreo properly!!!! and together!!! obviously i don't care about stitching together different takes for the final edit but just...not having a continuity at all in the choreo is a bit jarring. again, i am also not sure how one is supposed to evaluate how well these dancers did, because i can barely see what people are doing. or who the main dancers are. i know i'm railing a lot on mnet here but i can't give an accurate reading of the dancers because legitimately it is so hard to tell what's going on. if they want to bill this as a legitimate dance show, why are they shooting it like a kpop performance? the camerawork for kpop serves a specific function: to add to the visual spectacle and to highlight the idols' faces. you don't need either of those things for shoot choreography, so why do we keep getting closeups of dancers' faces? not that these dance videos aren't spectacle-y or fun, because they very much are, but they really suck at their one primary function, which is displaying the choreo.
4. x class
this is definitely the one where the camera work is the closest to what it should be, but then they go and fuck it up by adding rain! just the groundwater would have been fine, but noooo they had to add the extra rain so there would be extra water drops on the lens!! this is my favourite choreo of all four of these, i think there's the most cohesion and (excluding the rain) it's got a good mix of spectacle with the water and the blacklight and the right camera angles to show the choreo mostly well. i still don't understand why they cut in those sections that don't fit with the rest of the flow though. why. you could have one-taked this and it would have looked dope as fuck. i agree that lip j stands out the most, obviously it's her choreo so it's the best suited to her character and abilities.

if it wasn't a random lottery draw they should at least have the courtesy of showing people why who picked who!! that's the most interesting part! and i'm not that surprised about wayb being eliminated, prowdmon really stomped them into the ground with that revenge energy. i'm interested in this larger scale performances concept, because i'm not really sure what that looks like in this particular context. if they do end up on youtube i will review them! and you're not oversharing at all, the context is fine! i don't mind reading it as information, i just don't like actually watching it with my own eyes. i can't watch that kind of thing in reality tv because it makes me want to sit everyone down like a kindergarden teacher and go "ok, now why are we all yelling?". too many years of tense rehearsal conflict negotiation and i just want to whack everyone upside the head. it's not very cathartic for me lmao. i have no doubt that everyone is friends because dance scenes are small and i'm sure they've all worked together lots, but even just the editing sets off my fight or fight reflexes.

Thank you!!!!!! I actually used to have that same problem with shadows? However much I kept track of where the lightsource was and the shapes I was working with it always looked wrong, somehow - the way I fixed it was by adding more shadows, actually. If you’ll pick any of my colored pieces you’ll see I don’t really put down lights all that often, which means the base color ends up being my light color too, and everything else is just shadows getting darker the further I go from where the light hits the object I’m shading - generally, I use a soft tool like a brush or a marker to very roughly put down where I want the shadows to go, and then using the same tool I smudge and darken it till it looks right to me. I can’t really explain it any better than this? But I have a small tutorial for how I do this in my art tips tag, if you wanna give it a look!

It’s a mixture of both, actually! I like to look at clothing, both irl (on people I see, or stuff in the shops I visit, or even pics and movies and tv shows!) and drawn too - in anime and illustrations and manga and cartoons! I look at them and try to remember how they’re made, and then when I draw I think about it all and come up with my own by mixing stuff I liked from all those things - unless I see a piece of clothing that’d work just right as it is on a character, in which case I just draw it either as best as I can from memory or, if I have it, using a ref! It’s one of the things I find the most fun when drawing, I’m glad to hear you like what I come up with!! Thank you so much!!!

I like it!! OK so I'm curious following your last reply to anon but how do you see Michael & Alex moving on from this? I'm a Malex shipper but I can also see where a lot of people are drawing the line under them. Alex has shown he'd stay for Michael; Michael has not shown he can give Alex a reason to stay. He picked someone else 3 times now. How can he justify feeling jealous? Alex has been nothing but sportive yet I don't feel we'll get the same in reverse. That's where I'm struggling to see them overcome?
Honestly, I don’t know at the moment. 2x06 was a HARD punch, and I haven’t recovered from it yet. I’d been dreading the Alex-less episodes all year during the hiatus but right now I’m actually grateful he’s not in 2x07.
I need a break from all the yanking around.
And after that? I have no idea. We know so very little about this season, the only thing we can be pretty sure of is that what happened in 2x06 won’t ever be discussed in any way many of us who didn’t react with enthusiasm would love to see.
The showrunner’s made it pretty clear that they did A Tremendous Job™ with that scene and nothing whatsoever was wrong or problematic. Much enthusiasm, very consent. 😑
Remains to be seen how and when Alex and Michael will interact again. 2x08 already? 2x09? Will it be a random meeting or is it alien shenanigans related? No one knows how long Michael’s gonna breathe fresh air or how serious things will get between Alex and Forrest either. This could go many different ways.
Vlamis said in an interview that Michael doesn’t have any right to be jealous, but that he still will be (which is an understandable reaction, jealousy doesn’t necessarily stem from logic, it shows up unannounced on your doorstep).
The question is whether Michael will just seethe about it in the solitude of his Airstream, or if he’s going to be an ass about it (to Alex). I really hope that won’t be the case but the writers might have a different idea.
Let’s say that atm I still hope there’s a way for them to find their way back to each other, but this could change depending on how things will be between them and how Michael treats Alex.

hi! i just finished hi, bye mama! and that show broke me! i literally had a breakdown every other episode! 😭😭so i was wondering if you could recommend me some lighthearted dramas! and if it isnt too hard maybe some happy dramas about marriage? lol thanks!

This list is a bit random, but whenever I’m super destroyed by something, I’m looking for something specific to suit my fickle mood if that makes sense. Not all of these dramas are perfect, but they feel healing to me so I’m going for it! *sometimes I just make a weird list :P
Light Hearted Dramas to recover from Hi Bye Mama:
Father Is Strange: This is a 45 episode drama. I know, I know - It’s long. But trust me you’ll love it! It’s a family drama centered around three daughters and their parents. It’s super cute and has a lot of really lovely family moments and so many romantic ships (it’s long so they have to have at least a FEW couples :). It’s the only long drama I’ve ever finished and it’d be a great one to watch after Hi Bye Mama.
Hospital Playlist: Sometimes after something dramatic, you don’t need the opposite. Sometimes you just need something evenly paced, well done and a bit upbeat. I’m in the middle of watching this show and love it. It’s a workplace drama (I hate medical dramas but like this one) centered around five friends. Great characters, heartfelt and funny moments, and a really awesome script.
Oh My Ghostess: An adorable rom com with a ghost! I figure if you just watched a tragedy with a ghost, why not repair your heart with a really cute ghost romance? A sassy ghost possesses a quiet and introverted chef’s assistant and mishaps ensue (plus the romance. don’t forget about the romance).
Her Private Life: A museum curator who is hiding her fangirl obsession of an idol, gets a new boss (who is VERY hot ok?) Anyways, it’s light, funny and the chemistry is off the charts. Plus nothing really happens once they get together relationship wise - I don’t even think there’s a fake breakup so it’s a really easy light watch.
Legend of the Blue Sea: Think Splash but with a k-drama twist. A mermaid who finds herself on land gets entangled in the life of a con artist and falls in love with him. I mean, it’s Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun (who makes the best mermaid!) It’s a cute romance fantasy.
Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast: I know it’s not a drama, but it’s SO healing. If you haven’t watched this reality tv show about Idol Hyori and her husband living on JeJu island with their 5 dogs and the fatest kitty you’ve ever seen, you must! It’s so relaxing and wholesome.
Fight My Way: Yes, this slice of life drama is literally on every list I make! I’m sure all of my followers have seen it by now but just in case you haven’t...You must! It’s got great friendships, a strong female lead, great romance, and it’s just the best!
I hope one of these sticks out as a drama you’d like!

Least Favorite character:

Character I would marry:
I think the only age-appropriate characters for me are like. The parents of any characters. So I think if I had to pick any of them (and not Margaret bc I’m not a homewrecker), I guess Mr. Pennington? He seems to really care about his daughter, and I already love her too, so... I guess I’m Tara’s stepmom now.
Character I would be best friends with:
Morton Rise is literally SO weird so it would probably be obnoxious actually, but I find him so delightful I’d love to at least try to be his friend. He’d tell me about being a time traveler and ghost hunter, I’d tell him about my psychic powers, we’d have a great ol’ time.
A random thought:
I’ve wondered since yesterday if Barbie and Ken will finally get together in Princess Adventure, bc that would be a Big thing that might suit a movie better than a show episode. But I’m also trying to not get my hopes up for that.
An unpopular opinion:
It really depends on who you talk to lmao. But I guess one generally unpopular one is that I don’t ship some popular femslash but like, whatever, die mad about it. I have my reasons and I also literally don’t care what anyone else thinks. I’m here to do my own thing and I always have been.
My Canon OTP:
Barbie/Ken, obviously. He went to the other side of the world to be with her, and she went into a magical world to rescue him! And now in BDA, they’ve got such a great friendship and they really care so much about each other. I wish they’d articulate their damn feelings already but they’re SO meant to be.
My Non-canon OTP:
Merliah/Kylie. They’re a classic rivals to girlfriends pair, and they don’t even have any boys in their movie! Okay, Break is there. But he’s Merliah’s grandpa and obviously not a love interest. Unlike, say, Ian and Jeremy. So I stand by my position that merlylie is way more canon than alexiana.
Most Badass Character:
This is a hard one, bc when I think ‘badass’ I usually think of fighting, and there’s not much fighting going on. However, I think it has to be Annika. She’s the only protagonist (I think) who outright tried to kill the villain. I think about that all the time. Honorary mentions to Princess Alexa (her showdown with Malucia), Kara (a literal superhero) and Major Mint (survived the Great Mouse War).
Most Epic Villain:
I think Malucia. She’s terrifyingly competent for a 10-year-old and brought her whole kingdom to its knees in, what, a week? Laverna take notes.
Pairing I am not a fan of:
Elina/Nori is the one I’m thinking about lately but there are several I don’t care for.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):
Kristyn Farraday. Her entire arc in the movie is bullshit. I’ve said it before but I will say again, the movie should have either had her deciding that she would rather be a choreographer than a dancer (as her skillset seems to be more making up dances than actually dancing them), OR her realizing that Madame Natasha was right, and she needs to actually follow the steps to be a good dancer. Tara Pennington was also handled very badly, but I think that just follows with Kristyn’s bad writing (the movie goes way out of its way to make Kristyn seem like she’s in the right at all times). Pink Shoes is actually filled with wonderful characters... and we just happen to see them all on the worst entire day of their lives so it seems like they all suck.
Favourite Friendship:
There’s so many I could say but I’m gonna pull one out of left field: Makena and Thumbelina. I love the way Makena comes to realize what’s really important, and how hard she fights to save the Twillerbees at the end. And I like how Thumbelina is just like, cheerful and nice, but also won’t really take any crap. They’re wonderful friends and I wish ppl talked about the movie at all so I could see more ppl appreciate them.
Character I most identify with:
Tori, definitely. Admittedly, this is bc of headcanons (like that she’s acting out bc her mom died and her dad is dating again), but I take it exceptionally personally when ppl criticize Popstar or hate on Tori. (I mean, I do that with all Barbie movies and characters, but especially Tori, since she gets so much unfair hate.)
Character I wish I could be:
See, I’m generally not someone who ever wishes I could be in any fictional universe. And pretty much all the characters are put in dangerous situations at one point or another, so I mean, I’m not about that. Maybe Christie Clauson? I love Christmas, so it seems like it would be fun to be a mysterious innkeeper with a weird uncle who may or may not be Santa.

A/N: I’m so, so, so, SO sorry for taking so long! I’ve been going through a lot lately but I finally managed to write and post this. Hope you’ll like it!

The ticking of the clock on your bedside table numbed your sense. Tick, tick tick, the handle went with each passing second. You were lying on your bed, staring at the wall in front of You. Your phone kept lighting up with every notification You received. You didn’t bother to check because You knew who it was as always, It was Sebastian Stan. The man You loved dearly. No, the man You hated intensely. No, wait, that isn’t right either. Sebastian Stan was a man who randomly became a part of your life. And things were great at first. You were fast close friends who did everything together. Until one day, it all stopped.
I.
As a person who suffered from general anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder, it wasn’t easy to be an introverted person and keep up with all the social gatherings. Still, You tried your best. You went out with friends when You had the time, You made sure to interact on social media platforms and tried to have alone time outside the house for at least one hour. It was pretty draining for You but it was better being in bed, numb from everything around You and ignoring the world You live in. Not being in contact, not eating or drinking and not bathing.
It was on one of these outings that You had met Sebastian. Your friend had invited him over for your usual dinner dates with your other members of your group. You had taken a liking to him due to the similar interests the both of You had in regards to music, movies and television.
You would text each other every day. Talking about random things. You also sent snapchats to each other, which resulted in the both of you having a snapchat streak.
This lasted for three months when one day, You just stopped everything. It was subtle at first. Giving him the common excuse of ‘hey sorry. I was busy didn’t get to see your message.’ and when he would tell You that it’s ok and ask You how your day had been, You would give him short answers to his reply.
Things went hill gradually after that. He would text You about a movie he would want to see and invite You to join but You would decline, claiming You had something important to do. Then, he would try to start a conversation about the latest episode from your favorite tv show and ask your opinions on it but You would tell him that You hadn’t been keeping up with the show anymore.
Slowly, You stopped responding to his messages all together, but he didn’t. It’s been months since You’ve started replying to his texts. And it’s been weeks since he decided to call You and ask if You were ok. Even your friends had intervened and wondered if Sebastian had done any harm.
You assured them that, no, he did nothing wrong. And that You were just busy. You see, the thing is, when You have anxiety and depression, sometimes You didn’t want to interact with people. Sometimes, it was ok to stay isolated and be with yourself. It’s just, people didn’t understand what You went through, that’s all.
After about two months of ignoring Sebastian, one day, You randomly texted him if he wanted to join You for a cup of coffee at the local cafe. And just like that, things went back to normal between the two of You. He didn’t question what happened and You didn’t bother bringing it up. For You knew, this would only last a while before You went back to ignoring him.
Cause I can change my mind each day.
II.
Ah, the month of August. The month where You can sense the weather almost cooling down slowly. The month that softly whispers about Autumn being right around the corner. The month where Sebastian Stan was born. August 13th to be exact.
Despite not talking to Sebastian for about five months, You didn’t completely forget about him. He still lingered at the back of your mind, the same way a mother’s warning would whenever You were about to do something wrong.
Perhaps that’s why You still remembered his birthday. That, or the constant hints from your friend’s trying to invite You to his birthday party.
“You’re his best friend, Y/N. You should go to the party.” Your friend would whine at You.
You furrowed your eyebrows at her, “How am I his best friend when I barely talk to the guy?”
Your friend bit her lip in nervousness, “He just,” she said with worry, “He promised me not to tell you this but he really likes you and I know it would mean the world to him if you showed up tomorrow.”
You had expected this. You could tell that the Romanian had feelings for You. What with the way he constantly asks about You and see if You were ok. And on the days where You felt sociable and actually left your house, he always took You to your favorite places. The topics he chose to talk about were obviously about your interests and not his.
“It depends on my mood.” Your friend rolled her eyes at You.
“Please, just try.” She urged You.
And You did. You honestly tried to go to his party. You spent the morning of his birthday trying to pick out an appropriate outfit. You even showered and shaved your legs for the damn thing. But, when You walked out of the bathroom, with the steam following after You and twirling towards the ceiling before vanishing, You felt your shoulders slump at the sight of the black dress laid on your bed.
With your hair still dripping wet, You walked to your bed and grabbed the hanger and put the dress back in your closet.
You didn’t feel guilty as the hours went by. You didn’t feel anything as your friends kept texting You to please, please come. You still had time. You didn’t even frown at their angry texts or their insults. You just continued to browse through whatever app You were in the mood for.
And when Sebastian’s message came through at 2 o’clock in the morning, saying, I didn’t get to see you tonight. I hope you’re well, You just read it and went back to watching some random show on Netflix, not fully processing the show.
III.
“At last, my love has come along. My lonely days, are over.”
Came the voice of Etta James through the car speakers. You smiled as You turned up the volume, singing along to the lyrics and humming the forgotten words.
Suddenly, a voice in your head, that sounded just like your mother, said. It’s his mom’s favorite song.
You continued to hum the song as the thoughts of Sebastian invaded your mind.
A week after his birthday, Sebastian had invited You over to his place for lunch and, to his surprise, You said yes.
His home was lovely. It was small and cozy, yet spacious enough to have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.
Sebastian’s mother had welcomed You with open arms and a bright smile on her lips. Claiming that she had heard so much about You. She had an accent to her words but it made her sound charming.
Sebastian’s mother had made Ciorbă, Cabbage roll and Mititei for lunch. And, although it was a lot of food, all of you managed to eat everything.
His mother was a total sweetheart who loved to tell jokes and laugh loudly. She also liked to make new friends and made sure that her guests were comfortable. You could see where Sebastian got his caring nature from.
When lunch and dessert was done, Sebastian’s mother suggested to play some music and went to turn on the radio.
“Oh, I love this song!” She said through her Romanian as Etta James’ voice filled the room. She then extended her hand to Sebastian and asked him for a dance.
Without even a blush of embarrassment, he gladly took her hand and dance with her, singing some parts of the song to her.
You watched the two of them with an easy smile and swayed gently to the melody.
IV.
September 22nd, the first day of Fall. The plants were slowly changing. The greens fading into yellows. The skies filled with darker clouds. The wind getting colder. And the rain increasing its visits. Just like today.
You silently watched the trails of rain sliding down the cafe window. You were entranced by the people walking outside, some rushing to get out of the rain and stay dry while others enjoying the wet visit. Your right hand was wrapped around the warm coffee mug while your left hand supported your chin.
The flash of lightening didn’t phase You, nor did the loud boom of the thunder. It was actually calming for You.
“Y/N?”
Slowly, You forced yourself to look away from the captivating show of people outside and dragged them to look at the persona who called your name.
“Hello, Sebastian.” You greeted, voice emotionless.
His hair was slightly wet, You noticed. His umbrella was in his hand, still dripping, making a small puddle of water next to his shoes. He was panting slightly, cheeks red in color.
“You can join me if you want.” You offered, dragging your eyes to the empty chair before You and then looking at him once more.
He smiled, “Sure, let me just order real quick.” He rested his umbrella against the table and placed his black jacket on the back of the grey chair.
Minutes later, Sebastian had returned with a steaming mug of coffee, taking seat before You.
Neither of You said anything. You, busy watching the people outside, and him, pouring sugar into his drink and then looking at You, stealing a quick glance at what caught your attention.
“So,” he dragged out the word, “how have you been?” he asked.
It’s been almost a year since you’ve met Sebastian Stan. A year of you two being friends. A year of him enduring your mood swings. A year of him checking up on You. And a year of never giving up.
“I’m...okay.” You answered, wrapping both your hands around your forgotten half empty drink. “What about you?”
“I’m doing great. Working is a bit exhausting though but I’ll get over it.”
You gave him a polite small smile at his answer.
It was quiet again between the two of You. Sebastian took a couple of sips of his drink while You continued to watch out the window. The air around you wasn’t awkward. Nor was it enjoyable. It was something that was just there. A statement that there were two people sitting together and not saying anything to each other.
“I’m sorry.”
Sebastian brought his head up from his phone and laid his eyes on You, who was still looking out the window.
“For what?” he asked with his eyebrows pulled forward and voice laced with confusion.
“For ignoring you.” You replied after a long pause, finally looking away from the window.
“It’s ok.” he assured You with his kind eyes and gentle voice.
You shook your head.
“It’s just, I knew that You like me.” You noticed his eyes widening slowly, “I’m sorry that you ended up falling in love with a person like me.”
It took Sebastian a couple of seconds to ask You, “What do you mean?”
You looked away from his curious eyes, rubbing your hands in anxiety.
“I’m...not an emotionally stable person, Sebastian.” You answered, looking him straight in the eyes. I runaway when things are good. I hide behind my depression and anxiety when my life seems to look good.”
You watched as Sebastian tried to say something, mouth opening and closing, “I thought that you would give up on me when you saw the truth. That it’s normal for me to cut off all ties for months for no absolute reason. I knew that you like me and I was sure that my behavior would have you running away.”
Sebastian didn’t say anything, wanting You to finish.
“I stopped replying to your messages and calls, I didn’t show up to your birthday last month. I went months not talking to and I was sure that your feelings towards me would change and yet, through all that, you stayed. You stayed and never changed. And I never really understood the way you laid your eyes on me whenever I decide to meet you. How they light up with happiness at the mere sight of me.”
When You didn’t say anything else, Sebastian slid his hand across the table, palm opening upwards. You slowly rested yours on top of his and felt your heart skip a beat as he closed his big hand around yours.
“I don’t know much about you.” Sebastian began, “I don’t know if you like me or not. And if you do, I don’t even know if our relationship will last. But I do know this,” he brought his eyes up and locked them with yours. The intensity in them made your breath hitch, “I am willing to try. I am willing to be committed. And though you may not understand why, why I have strong feelings for you, I am willing to show you.”
With every word he uttered, with every reassurance he had in his voice, You felt your heart pickup speed. It was different from when You had anxiety or panic attacks. It was surprisingly a pleasant feeling.
You nodded your head, “Ok,” You said with a shaky voice. Body tensing as Sebastian squeezed your hand in affection.
“I’m also willing to try to change-” You frowned as Sebastian shook his head.
“Don’t change for me, Y/N. Change for yourself. Change because you want to.”
At his words, You smiled shyly at him and squeezed his hand back.
Things grew slow between you. It took a long time for You to change yourself. It took awhile for You to accept that there was someone who loved You in your life despite the things You suffered with mentally. It was a while before You explore your relationship with Sebastian. But it did happen. You slowly growing to like Sebastian Stan happened. You going on dates with him happened. And You accepting to be his girlfriend happened. Your habits of isolating yourself didn’t completely disappear, but neither did Sebastian.

Take as many as you need. Calm yourself down. You don’t need to panic. You don’t need to be scared. All you need to do right now is breathe.

Even if you feel calm or if you aren’t really feeling anything at all, just take a minute. And breathe. Empty your mind. Don’t pay attention to anything going on around you. Just breathe. The only important thing right now is you. It’s gonna be ok. Breathe.
It is gonna be hard for a little bit. You might not feel good and it might feel like it will drag on forever. But it won’t. This feeling will fade. It will be ok.
The first thing I want you to do is get somewhere safe. Go somewhere you feel comfortable.
If you are around a lot of people and you would rather be alone, try to excuse yourself. Say that there is something you forgot to do or say that you don’t feel well. If you can’t leave, then excuse yourself to the bathroom or say you have to make a call and that you will be back shortly. If you are in transport of some kind, like the bus or the train, and can’t get off you can try to barricade yourself from the other passengers. Use a bag or purse to keep people from physically touching you by putting it between you and them. Put in headphones if you have them. If you want to play some white noise to help block out the sound of other people. You can put up your hoodie to block your face if you want. You can also pretend to be asleep.
If you are alone but want to be near other people, try calling a friend or two and see if they want to hang out. You can call a family member if you want. If you don’t necessarily want to talk to people but you still want to be around them, you could ask to study together or if you could work/ read where they are so you could have some company. If you don’t feel comfortable contacting someone you know, it’s ok. If you still want company, you can go to a fast food place to hear lots of noise. If you would prefer a quieter environment I suggest going to a library or a bookstore. You can go to one of these places and stay there as long as you want to.
However, make sure you don’t overwhelm yourself. Wherever you go try to get comfortable. Make sure that you are warm and are on something soft. Grab a blanket or a jacket and get comfy. If you can, put on clothes that you feel comfortable in. Grab a pillow or a stuffed animal if you want to. Do whatever will make you the most comfortable.
Get some water if you can. Take small sips. You don’t have to drink it all, but it will keep you from getting dehydrated. It will help you feel better.
You don’t have to be anything right now. Take a break. You don’t have to be a friend, sibling, parent, child, teacher, student, significant other, worker. You don’t have to be anything except for you.
Relax. It is going to be ok.
I am going to say some things. And it is going to be so hard for you to believe me. It will be. But everything I say is true. I promise you. And I don’t break promises.Just hold on and read. It’s going to be ok. Breathe. Ready?
You do not deserve this pain.
You have done nothing wrong.
You are not hated.
You are not stupid, worthless, ugly, unwanted, annoying, or selfish.
You are loved.
You are wanted.
You are enough.
You are not alone.
It is going to be ok.
Those words are for you. It is not directed towards another person. You are not an exception to them. They are true and they are yours.
Now take a step back. Breathe. Relax. You are ok. The things that your head is telling you are not true. You are none of the things people were yelling at you. You aren’t those things. Breathe. You are you and you are exactly who you need to be. It’s ok.
The next part depends on what you want to do. There are many options so you choose whichever one works best for you ok?
Take a shower or a bath. Was all of the sweat and dirt off of you. Pamper yourself. Use a good bath bomb or the one soap that you really like. Take your time and let yourself relax. Once you get out moisturize everywhere. Put on the good lotion with the scent that you like. Wash your face. Brush your teeth if you want to. Dry your hair and brush it out. Put on another set of comfortable clothes. Take all of the time you want to.
Go to sleep. Take a nap or fall asleep for the night if you want to. Grab a blanket or crawl into bed. If you fall asleep for the night make sure that you charge all of the electronics you need to, turn off all of the lights, and make sure if you have any pets you feed them.
Clean up. It is a mindless task that can be used to keep your hands busy bit not be mentally taxing. An extra bonus of this would be that you get some housework done.
Do some work/ homework. It will give your mind something to focus on. However be careful and don’t get overwhelmed or lost in the work. Make sure to get up and take a break every once in a while. Maybe take a five minute break every thirty minutes? There is no shame in setting an alarm if you are worried you will get lost in working and forget to take a break.
Do something artsy like painting, drawing, or writing. No pressure here. Its ok to take it slow.
Watch TV. Put on your favorite sow and let yourself get lost in the episodes.
Read a book. It would provide the same distraction that the TV does but it doesn’t make lots of noise and gives you something to do with your hands.
Have a wild random dance party. Blast your favorite music and dance around like a crazy person.
If you feel like going out, but not spending time with other people, you can go see a movie in the theater. If you prefer something quieter, you could take a hike outside or go for a walk. You could even just drive around town and listen to your music.
If you want to be with people and stay inside, you can have a movie night at your house. Or a game night. You could even get the ingredients for a dinner and have people come over to cook with you and make dinner as a group.
If you want to go out and be with people, you could go out for dinner or for coffee. You can also go bowling, skating, or mini golf. You could go shopping if you wanted to.
If you are at work or at school and can’t leave, it is going to be ok. Take a deep breath. Splash some water on your face. Take a moment to collect yourself. It will turn out ok. You are doing to make it through this day. And then you can go and do what ever you want to. Its ok. Hold on just a little bit longer. I believe in you. It is going to be ok.
If the feeling is not going away, that’s ok too. Don’t panic. There are several alternatives to help get rid of it.
Draw on yourself instead. Get a soft marker and draw where you feel the urge to hurt. Try to use a washable marker and not a sharpie. However, do not use a pen at all.
Use ice. Run the ice where you need to. Be aware that the ice will melt and get water everywhere.
Get a notebook and rip through the pages with a pen. Bear down hard on the paper with the pen and rip it.
If you choose to break something as an alternative, try breaking chunks of ice. Don’t break plates or other glass things that could hurt you.
Avoid using alternatives that hurt you in a different way like pulling your hair, digging into your palms with your nails, scratching or picking at your skin, not eating, letting yourself be uncomfortable, or letting yourself be hurt emotionally.
It is going to be ok. Just hold on darlin. You will be ok.
No matter what you decide to do, remember that you will make it through this. You will make it past this point and go on to a time where you don’t feel like this. It will be hard. There will be setbacks and obstacles. But it’s ok. Because you aren’t alone. I am right here with you and I believe in you. I know that you can do it. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help. There is nothing to be ashamed of and it does not make you weak. It’s ok. My messages are always open.
You are going to be ok. Lots of people love you and care about you. We got you. You aren’t alone. It’s gonna be ok.

Had Robert said directly to anyone other than Aaron that he's bi?? I mean tbh they should know he's not gay away because he has said that many times to people and it's wrong for them just to assume he's in denial, but I can't remember if Robert has said it or would tell anyone else ?? Still not happy that they still have this bi-erasure stuff on the show though 😔

This is kind of an interesting one - obviously, Robert has said it to Aaron on a number of occasions by this point. We’ve never seen him say it to anyone else, or at least we’ve never heard him use the word to anyone else.
He has said previously that his relationship to Chrissie was real (to/in the presence of Charity, if I’m remembering correctly). That scene - just after Lawrence and Ronnie’s relationship has been revealed publicly - is beautiful, because he literally makes a joke about not being straight, all the while being his usual terrible self towards Lawrence (because of course he knows better than anyone save for Ronnie that Lawrence experiences same sex attraction, because he spent a lot of time taking advantage of that fact).
Related, he also made the literally iconic “hat trick” comment to Chrissie, about wishing he’d slept with Lawrence too. We are not worthy.
Finn referred to him as bisexual, but that could be down to Finn having a deeper understanding of sexualities rather than Robert saying anything himself. Rebecca herself has also called Robert bisexual (despite the fact that she clearly doesn’t have a deeper understanding of sexualities). Vic asked him about it, but that was long before he was actually able to say anything beyond “I’m straight” in response.
(Also there was the iconic conversation Robert has with Faith about “different strokes” that still makes me laugh because I love a good handjob joke)
There have been a number of instances where someone has referred to Robert as gay, at which point he always makes an iconic Offended™ facial expression, but he’s never been able to actively correct them.
Those are the things i immediately remember. He’s definitely never said it to anyone else, which is fine, but I really and honestly hope that’s something they address at some point, or at least continue to make a point of, alongside how uncomfortable he still feels about going to gay bars, if only because it’s such a good story to tell??!?!?!!
Robert still isn’t completely there in dealing with his internalised homophobia (and let’s take a moment to call out the “queen” comment he made to Aaron during the January argument episodes as another instance of that).
Dealing with this sort of has to go hand in hand with dealing with Aaron’s biphobia - and I’m sort of interested to see if/how that will be addressed on Thursday - because him constantly having to defend himself to his husband will make it a lot more difficult for him to accept himself (side note: I’ve said before that I also think part of Aaron’s biphobia with Robert comes from deep personal insecurities and Robert’s very spotty history with fidelity, so there’s kind of a lot to unpack there)
and it’s not like they don’t sort of regularly pick this stuff up and make a point of it, so I still sit here with hope that they’ll actually let it lead to somewhere eventually, like the desperate and In Need Gay™ that I am because at the very least, they need to deal with the constant argument they have around Aaron conflating cheating with still being attracted to women for Robert. At the very least. And then if they could deal with the random biphobia that happens every so often elsewhere in the village, that would at least be something. and then they can just stop making biphobic comments full stop and we can stop wanting to casually throttle the writers for being so terrible and offensive. Ah, the #dream.
ANYWAY I’m so invested in them delving into this and discussing it more because there’s a lot there to work with and it would be Good and Satisfying and Beautiful. Like. Getting Robert to a point where he can a) go into a gay bar and be ok with it and b) come out to other people would be SO GOOD AND WONDERFUL #GetRobertToAGayBar2k17

MONSTA X You Fainted
anon asked: Could I pls have a Monsta X reaction where you pass out in the shower and they have to help you cause you’re hurt? I think I saw a BTS page do one with BTS and it was adorable. Thank you~ (Lowkey love your blog more then myself lmao)
A/N: asjfhaknfeuafh oh boy I hope you like it. I’m not really sure this is fluffy or cute? idk? I tried for realistic. Seeing someone faint or finding them that way can be a frightening experience but usually doesn’t last too long.
Shownu – Would respond the best out of all of them. He’s certainly not a medic but he’s had first aid training. Though alarmed, his inherent unflappable nature would keep him calm enough to hold on to his senses and do what needed to be done. If he found you unconscious he wouldn’t even notice the water running and reach in to carry you out, placing you on the floor. He’d tilt your head back to ease your breathing and use some towels to elevate your feet. In a few seconds you’d come around and he’d have the biggest grin of relief. Before then he was too focused to feel the complete weight of his worry. Peering down at you closely he’d check your pupils and ask you how you were feeling. If you tried to get up he’d insist you stay down a little while longer while he assessed you for any injuries from your fall. The tension would leave his body when he realized you were fine, leaving his limbs feeling rubbery from adrenaline. He’d sit on the floor with you trying to distract you with lame jokes until you were ready to move.
Wonho – Hearing the thud he’s not going to think the worst right away. He’d assume you dropped a shampoo bottle or something. But he’d still knock on the door to check. When he didn’t get a response that’s when the worry would creep in and he’d enter to find you on the shower floor. Terrified he’d automatically shut off the water, scared you might breathe it in. He’d want to get you out of the shower but hesitate to move you because he’s heard moving people isn’t always good when they’re unconscious. Seeing you lay there unresponsive would scare the hell out of him and tears would run down his face without him really being aware of it. Before he could run for the phone your eyes would flutter open and he’d begin to fire questions at you before you were fully coherent: what happened, does anything hurt, do you need to go to the hospital. Gingerly helping you off the shower floor he’d half carry you over to the bed. Using the blankets he’d wrap your soaked and chilled body up before he sat down with you to have a serious talk about what just happened. You wouldn’t be going anywhere else until he was satisfied you wouldn’t faint again, like ever.
Minhyuk – You may think he’d be the loudest upon finding you unconscious in the bathroom but that’d be incorrect. The shock would steal his voice and his eyes would lock on your body, never once breaking away as he fumbled his way into the room. If you were on the floor he’d get you on your back and start smacking your cheeks in an effort to rouse you, growing even more frustrated and scared if it didn’t work right away. There wouldn’t be full sentences only your name or ‘ya’. Once you opened your eyes the relief would rush through his whole body and let him speak again. Stammering the usual questions he’d grab a towel or robe and throw it over you to keep you warm. It’d take you complaining about the cold tile before he’d feel it was safe enough to help you stand. Concerned for your overall health he’d push for you to see a doctor but not too hard. For days Minhyuk would be afraid to even hug you but would constantly touch you like he’s reassuring himself you’re fine. In the future if he saw you doing anything he felt might have contributed to your fainting spell he’d remind you how frightened he was in hopes you’d begin to care for yourself properly.
Kihyun – Though he doesn’t have first aid training like Shownu, his reaction would be similar. Take care of things as efficiently as possible and freak out later if necessary. His heart would be lodged in his throat and his hands would shake, but his mind would stay sharp. Eyes tracing all over your still form he’d tick off a mental checklist as he took in your condition. No visible blood but non responsive, breathing ok, no seizures. Just as he was scrambling to his feet to get his phone you’d start to stir and he’d sit back down again, keenly focused on every movement you made. He’d be very attentive while you regained yourself, though not necessarily taking your word for it that you were alright and insist you see a doctor. Arguing would do no good because his mind is set on finding out why this happened and what can be done to keep it from happening again. If it wasn’t due to neglecting yourself he’d keep an extra close eye on you, watchful for signs of a recurrence. If it was due to carelessness on your part it’s a good bet he’s going to be angry with you and you’d have to promise to take better care of yourself.
Hyungwon – Quiet panic would sum up his reaction best. He’d drop down on his knees next to you like a marionette whose strings had been cut. Shaking your shoulder lightly, he’d stop when you started to moan. Realizing you were coming to, he’d grab a towel and drape it over you in an effort to keep you warm but also to keep you from feeling vulnerable. It wouldn’t matter how many times the two of you had seen each others bodies, he’d show that consideration because it’s disorienting enough waking up on the bathroom floor without finding yourself naked. Keeping you comfortable and calm is his main goal. As you slowly regained your senses he’d place a cool rag on your forehead and insist you stay still until you were fully awake. After about ten minutes he’d help ease you off the floor. Hyungwon would try to get some food in your stomach if it would tolerate it and make you lie down even if you said you were fine. He’d keep watch on you like you might faint again at any moment while he bluntly asked what was going on because he just lost ten years off his life.
Jooheon – Hands down the loudest of the bunch. Even if no one is around to hear he’d automatically call for help. Interspersed with the yelling he’d basically be rambling to himself the whole time he was checking you over. Getting up to call emergency services his eye would catch movement. Quickly coming back to your side eagerly asking what happened while his eyes roamed over you head to toe looking for anything else that may be wrong. When you say you want to get up he’d ask about five times if you were sure. Jooheon would help you stand but only move inches away at the most, arms constantly raised to catch you if you started to fall again. Once he got you to a safe place he’d sit down next to you and pull you against his chest. As you rested he’d think to himself that he couldn’t remember the last time he was that frightened. He’s a worry wart so this would sit in the back of his mind for quite some time. Whenever he was away he’d start calling you more often to check on you. Even if you make a full recovery expect him to hover over you for some time to come.
I.M – Though he is mature for his age that doesn’t always translate into knowing what to do in certain situations. Shocked at discovering you on the floor his stomach would sink as he hurried over and crouched down next to you. If you were completely limp to his touch his breathing would come faster as panic set in. He’d fumble with his phone, dropping it and cursing. While trying to get his fingers to work properly he’d notice you were waking up and switch his attention to you. The corners of his mouth would twitch as he tried to make himself smile to reassure you, but that’s about as big it would get. Grabbing a glass and filling it with water he’d stare intently as you sipped it, like you’d reveal some clue as to what was going on if only he paid close enough attention. Finally he’d help you off the hard floor and assist you over to a chair before asking your opinion on what happened. Still worried for you, his mind would pick at the problem for days as he tried to figure out what the episode could mean. Changkyun would send random texts asking questions as he pieced it together.
