"So, I'm just filling this up with things I think you'd like?" Yelena asked as you both grabbed a Walmart basket. You smiled softly, "Yeah! We have 30 minutes, and we can't show any of to each other until we get home" you explained with an exciting tone. Yelena nodded while her brain thought of all the things, she could possibly get for you, "I'll meet you back at the car, oh and don't forget to get a gift box to use at the checkout" you added before giving the blonde a soft peck on her lips and walking away.
Yelena watched as you wondered down an aisle before she turned on her feet and made her way to the confessionary aisle. She started off with the easy items, adding a few of your favorite chocolates and candy to the basket along with a couple of bottles of your favorite drink. She then made her way to the clothing area and grabbed the sweater that you were unsure of buying the last time the two of you were at Walmart.
The first item you put in your basket was the easiest thing anybody who knew Yelena could think of. A box of Mac & Cheese paired with her favorite bottle of hot sauce. As you were making your way out of the aisle, the cheesiest thing caught your eye. A small plushie in the shape of a macaroni pasta. "Oh, she's going to hate this" you chuckled to yourself as you placed it in your basket.
You met Yelena back at the car, she was leaning against the driver's door waiting patiently for you. "You're going to love what I got you!" You said excitedly as you placed the gift box of goodies in the back seat. "You have that look" Yelena replied as the two of you got into the car.
"What look?" You asked, playing off any suspicious look you might have had.
"The look at says you've been up to no good" Yelena replied with a chuckle as she started the car. "I am excited to show you what I got you, you're going to hate it so much you'll love it!" You said, confusing the blonde.
Yelena pulled out of the parking lot and began the journey back to your shared apartment. Your excitement only grew bigger as your mind kept thinking about Yelena's reaction to the cheesy gifts you got her. This was your third Valentines with Yelena, the first one she was away on a mission so there wasn't anything you could do with her and last year, you were sick with the flu and slept most of the day but you still found the energy to cook dinner for Yelena.
This was the year you were able to really show Yelena how much you loved her, even though you tell her every day just how important she is too you, you never wanted her to miss out on these little holidays. You woke her up with breakfast in bed, rose petals trailing from the bed to the shower where the two of you spent more time making out than helping each other wash.
Yelena took you out for lunch at your favorite restaurant before the two of you took a walk-through Central Park where you brought her a Valentines themed balloon from a balloon vender that she walked through the park with. She wasn't exactly a fan of the balloon but deep down she loved how cheesy you were.
"Babe, you missed the turn off" you looked to Yelena with a confused look.
"I know. We're not going home; I want to take you somewhere else" Yelena replied.
"Where?" You asked.
"You'll see" She looked to you and smiled softly, "it's just a 20-minute drive" she added.
Roughly 25 minutes later and Yelena pulled up at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The city lights reflecting off the water made her green eyes sparkle as she laid out a picnic blanket on the grass. "I was going to cook us a late dinner, but this seems more fun" she spoke as she looked at you.
"This is very romantic so for the record, I take absolutely full responsibility for the chance you might fall in love with me just a little more once you open your gift box" you replied with a smile. Yelena chuckled as she wrapped her arms around your waist and pulled you closer into her, kissing you lovingly. "Do you want to go first?" She asked, seeing the excitement in your eyes. You nodded with a smile, "you might want to sit down for this" you chuckled.
The two of you sat down on the picnic blanket, you opened the gift box full of things you brought for Yelena and told her to close her eyes. "I'm going to start with this just to give you a little taste of what goodies I got you" you said, trying not to break out into laughter as you placed a mug in Yelena's hands. "Open your eyes" you added.
Yelena cocked a brow as she read the text on the mug before looking up at you to see you were proudly smiling at her with confidence. "Yoda best girlfriend in the galaxy" she read aloud. "That's just the start of it" you replied.
"You're not going to believe this" Yelena smiled while shaking her head as she pulled out the exact same mug she got for you, "it literally had you written all over it" she added. You broke into laughter as you placed the mug in front of you, "I love it, thank you!"
The two of you took in turns giving each other an item from the gift boxes. Yelena wasn't at all surprised that you'd gotten her a bottle of vodka as well as her favorite meal duo. She loved the perfume you got her and said it was the perfect scent, nothing too intense. You instantly put on the sweat that Yelena had gotten you and you couldn't wait to take a bath with one of the giant bath bombs she'd gotten you.
"Okay, close your eyes again, I saved the best for last" you smiled at your girlfriend.
"Now I am slightly nervous" Yelena chuckled with her eyes closed. You pulled out the last item in the gift box, the plushie of macaroni pasta that said 'Macaronly Have Eyes for You' on the box and gently placed it in her hands. "This is my favourite thing I got you" you said with a chuckle, "you can open your eyes now" you added.
Yelena couldn't control the laughter she broke into at the sight of the plushie, "I hate it so much I can't help but love it" she said, "thank you detka" she added as she reached over and kissed you lovingly. "I have one more gift for you" she smiled against your lips before leaning back and handing you the gift box. You found a small black box that made your heart skip a beat as you looked up at her.
"Open it" she insisted.
Carefully you picked up the small box and opened it to see a ring with a green diamond sparking at you from the city lights. "Yelena" you looked up at her.
"I've been thinking about this since our last Valentines together. You were so sick, and I told you just to stay in bed and rest but you were so persistent on making the day special. Detka, every single day I get with you is special to me and I knew that night that I don't ever want to spend my life with anybody else. I love the way you make me feel and the way you are never afraid to be yourself. I love how cheesy you are and how you always find the fun in anything. I wanted to give you something big and Hollywood style romantic but seeing you walking out of Walmart tonight and how beautiful you look in your sweats and favourite t-shirt, I didn't want to wait any longer" she said with a loving smile.
"Yelena, you broke the rules" you replied, tears of joy filling your eyes.
"I would break the rules for you anytime" she replied as she reached for the ring and gently pulled it out of the box. She looked you deeply in your eyes, "Ты выйдешь за меня?" She asked, her Russian accent the thickest you've ever heard it. You nodded repeatedly as the tears calmly ran own your cheeks, "if you're asking me what I think you are asking me, the answer is yes, a thousand times yes!" You replied.
Yelena slid the ring on your finger before kissing you deeply once more, "I really have to teach you Russian" she smiled against your lips.

Tips for making actually cheap punk clothes from someone that has spent a maximum of $11 on any specific project over 3 years:
Bottle caps make AMAZING pins. There's countless ways to make bottlecap pins, but I mainly do it by 1) filling the cap with hot glue and 2) gluing a safety pin to the back. It's up to the individual. But the point is: Save bottlecaps.
DRINK CANS ARE AMAZING FOR MAKING SPIKES! Any aluminum can works - Monster cans, beer cans, etc. - all you have to do is cut off the tops and bottoms; make it a flat sheet; cut the metal into small semicircles; and roll it into cones. They stay in place easily with hot glue, and when you put them onto anything, they look just as good as store-bought.
Save Can Tabs. They can be put onto jackets, made into chains, earrings, necklaces, or anything else you want.
Literally anything can be made punk. Jeans, cargo pants, denim jackets, t-shirts, shoes, hoodies - the sky's the limit. Don't let these tiktok punks tell you that only their $80 Social Distortion pants and $120 denim jackets can be punk. Any clothes you pull out of a dumpster can be punkified.
Old T-shirts that no longer fit and have a design on them can be cut out and made into backpieces. Band shirts are particularly great for this, so if you thrift a Motorhead shirt that's too small, you can cut out the design and sew it onto a jacket and bam - you've got an exclusive piece of merch.
This one's more of an opinion, but: If you're patching up a jacket, sew the patches onto the outside of the jacket. If you're patching up pants, create holes where you want the design, and sew the patches from the inside of the pants.
Do research. If a "thrift store" calls itself a cheap alternative store, but has $50 jeans, it's not a thrift store. It's a vintage reseller, and the clothes are almost always WAY overpriced.
Shoplift carefully. Go somewhere you don't usually go - a large chain like Walmart or Target or Staples, not a local business - and take small things. Don't go somewhere that you're a regular at, or shoplift multiple times in a short period of times, or do too much at once. You will develop a track record and have more of a chance of being caught. However, the workers don't get paid less for you stealing, and the big suits in corporate won't notice or care about a missing pack of dental floss.
Experiment! Have fun with it! I've been Frankenstein-ing my jacket for years and counting - I've taken off the sleeves, added new sleeves, painted on it, put patches on it, added pins, anything you can think of. Be loud, be ugly, be weird, be happy.
If you have a painted patch or spot on pants/a jacket/whatever and it's old, but you want to take it off now, or if you just made a mistake, acetone can get pretty much any amount and age of paint out of any fabric. By acetone, I mean most nail polish removers or rubbing alcohols.
Now, I hate buying things for making punk clothes, but there are a few things that, in my opinion, are investments that last FOREVER. This includes: Hot glue guns; nail polish remover (for the last tip, mainly); paint pens and containers of paint (fabric or not); sharpies; dental floss or just normal thread; fabric scissors; and SAFETY PINS. None of them are very expensive, but they'll come in handy for years.
ESPECIALLY SHARPIES. That's the one thing I won't debate is a perfect investment. You can get a set of 12 colors or 12 black ones for like $9, and you can use them for EVERYTHING. The color also won't bleed when washed, as opposed to most pens and markers.
SAFETY PINS ARE A FASHION STATEMENT IN AND OF ITSELF. They're super useful in making clothes and jewelry, they're cheap and easy to find, and just nice to line the hems of your pants with.
When you make a square patch, fold in the edges slightly so that the edges don't fray. This makes it slightly harder to sew on, but it keeps the patch in good condition for longer - unless the idea is to look tattered. Then don't.
Don't be afraid to add something random and weird to your clothing because "oh people are gonna see it and know I like this weird niche thing" - that's the whole point! It's an expression of who YOU are, not what people want you to be. If people - especially other punks - judge you for it, fuck them. Unless...
No swastikas, no iron crosses, no symbols of oppression, no TERF shit. I'd say that's the only rule of punk - to say "oppression is punk" is going against everything punk stands for. Of course, if you do it anyways, you should at least know you deserve the beating you get at a basement show attended by underpaid and rage-filled faggots.
Of course, these are just mine, and there's plenty more that I do not know. If you've got your own way of doing things that goes against mine, that's awesome. But if you need to start somewhere as a kid punk, I hope this helped.

Caregiver struggles
Tumblr media
~ An aizawa ramble post ~
I've been a caregiver typically all my life. I grew up around siblings as the oldest. I've taken care of my siblings, I taught kindergartners to write and read. So typically being the type of parental figure for most, I grew up loving my "job". it's something that makes me happy and something I hate being taken away from me. As I am from a source in which I'm seen as a father figure to some, and a caretaker at best; there are things I miss and wish I could do when it comes to littles
I wish I could spoil my little with everything they wanted (as long as it's safe, of course) but something like sweets or going out to the movies
I wish I could be there every moment for them. Making them breakfast, helping them get dressed for the day, cuddling or watching movies. I loved doing it alot in my source, it was always a favorite thing of mine
Wishing I could be the one to make their day happier. Wether that be taking care of them when they're sick or taking them to a Walmart spree and they can buy everything they could want
Wishing to be the one to buy them stuff to make them smile. Pacifiers they wanted, clothes, stuffies or shows and books and much more
To be the one who comforts them when they need it. Vent their frustrations out, cry into my shoulder. Whatever helps them feel better.
I guess there's a huge part of me that misses it. I want to be a caregiver again and I'd give up alot for it to happen. I know I'm not physically ready but— I guess it's just something I've missed more dearly from my source. I don't wanna sound cheesy but littles and pet regressors (of course including flips, CGs and everyone in-between) make me happy.
Littles make me have a type of protective instinct. When I see someone cry I always want to be the one to pick them up off their feet and ask if they're okay. You know?
This isn't a vent, but something I'd love to talk about. I've had this mindset for as long as I've been in this system, so it's nice to get it off my chest. One day when I have a little to take care of would be a day where I shall be the best dad out there 。:゚(;´∩`;)゚:。

I always see people who are interested in alt fashion ask goths where to get good clothes (that aren't overpriced) so here's a few good places from my own experiences: - BANDCAMP. Not all goth bands have merch, but the ones who do always have incredible designs and they can be fairly inexpensive! The smaller the artist, the more likely their merch will be affordable, and the more they need the support. So go do some digging~ (I find a lot of niche bands through playlists, Never Resting Soul on youtube has some good ones and so does Obscura Undead) - Thrift stores. I know this one gets talked about a lot but I see people say "My thrift store just has granny clothes" and I just want to say... It's about the way you search and the way you style pieces. I like to beeline towards the black sections since my thrift store is sorted by color but yours might be different. After that I usually like to look at reds and purples, but green or even white can also be pretty cool if you style em right. See what calls to you. Look for good fabrics. Lace, velvet (or fake velvet), leather (I'm vegetarian so I hate to say it, but fake leather kind of sucks ass and crumbles apart within a few wears most of the time. Look for real leather if you want to buy it), or normal fabrics with interesting prints. I'm plus size and I've found some really good items doing this. Also, sometimes something that looks like a "grandma" piece on its own looks stunning when you pair it with the right accessories. Invest in some good belts and jewelry and you can make the most basic black t shirt and jeans or skirt look super alternative and pretty. - DIY. A lot of people assume you need some decent sewing skills to do this and while that's certainly helpful for more complicated DIYs, I'm here to tell you: You can just bullshit things with paint and safety pins and fabric glue and cheap craft supplies. Want a chain belt? the crafts section of walmart has chains you can throw on literally anything if you have a will and some safety pins (which you can also buy at walmart) and I hear hardware stores have longer chains way cheaper. You can also write things with that puffy paint you probably remember from when you were a kid. or use a cheap paintbrush to actually paint with it if you want. If you have patches you can fabric glue them or safety pin them (seriously those things are lifesavers) or both for good measure. Key rings are also great for projects that have a lot of chains or other hardware on them. you can make a chain with them or you can attach chains together with them or just like throw em on any piece of black clothing you want or honestly like 50 other things I'm probably not thinking of rn. Of course, you can also just shred tf out of things if that's more your style. Tights, denim, shirts, whatever. Distressed clothes are always an easy mention. (shredding denim is weirdly therapeutic if you have pent up frustration, try it out sometime) You can also draw or write on colored things with markers for a cool effect. I have a whole playlist for alt DIYs if you're looking for some inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK4LkzpKtOvIFkJadZDUnfN4ntztkU70q - Finally, and I hate to say it, but.. Fast fashion. I don't recommend it if you can avoid it, but sometimes it's all you got and I don't really judge anyone for buying it. I got my current pair of combat boots at target and there's plenty of pieces you can style in alternative ways there. Lots of good basics and they usually have a pretty decent belt selection. They also have combat boots for around $20 last time I checked. (Don't buy from shein if you can help it though that shit is toxic and I don't just mean it in the metaphorical way.) You can also get good pieces for DIY projects like I mentioned above, or you can find cool tights to pair with your outfits.

15 & 27 for unusual asks?
15: rank the methods of death: freezing, burning, drowning
OK Astarion
I think drowning seems the least painful. I might be underrating freezing, since you lose feeling, but I hate being cold.
I like being in the water and even though having your lungs fill with water is terrible, it seems almost pleasant in some ways. You can also drown in 40 seconds in the right circumstances, so it might be the quickest option-- though if I'm going to look up the quickest option, I guess I have to compare that across the different methods.
Still seems most preferable.
Also, apparently if you look up "How fast fan you drown," Google assumes you're suicidal and gives you a hotline and a stock message to send to a friend with a text hotlink. Thanks but I just wanted to know how biology works.
(Yes I know I shouldn't be using Google, I am resistant to change and very weak.)
Freezing comes next because I'm pretty sure you lose feeling in your body. Goodbye, I'm sleepy, just gonna lie down now.
Burning is last. I refreshed my memory on all of these real quick and you're going to pass out from smoke inhalation until you die. It also really hurts before your nerve endings get fried and then you can't feel anything. No thank you. I like heat but not that much.
27: what’s your favorite or go-to outfit?
I don't really stick to one outfit, but there's this velour clothing that I like to wear in the winter because it's warm and soft. I want more. I had to physically restrain myself from buying another shirt last month because it's really just not a good idea budget wise.
At least one person thinks I like dusky pink because of this. I don't care for the cover. The clothing is just that soft.
Also I have a hard time changing out of pj's. When I found soft pj's at Walmart, I made it my mission to collect them. I have four pairs now.
(Used to be Secret Treasures, Walmart rebranded and now it's Joyspun. I need to focus on getting clothing that's made with materials that are actually good next, but I'm very happy with these.)
In the summer it's whatever t-shirt I can find and... I've worn jeans a lot, but I'm moving away from them because my midriff is expanding and I don't like pain. Target has good leggings sometimes.
I would like more clothing for the in between times. I'm very picky about temperature and like to dress for the exact amount of chill in the air. This is one reason I usually stay inside and in my pj's.
It's also why I tried to make my pj's something that could look like day wear. My family thinks I like dresses now. It's just convenient.
Jahsjsjsjsjks I wrote an essay and still don't have a straight answer for you 😅
Thanks!

"The delayed clarity on what exactly happened in Jersey City muted some of the public empathy that instantly followed the previous attacks. So did the identities of the attackers, both of whom were Black, and their targets, who were Hasidic Jews - who, it has progressively become clear, many otherwise enlightened Americans view as absolutely fair game for bigotry.
This was obvious from reporting within hours of the attacks, which gave surprising emphasis to the murdered Jews as "gentrifying" a "minority" neighborhood. This was remarkable, given that the tiny Hasidic community in question, highly visible members of the world's most consistently persecuted minority, in fact came to Jersey City fleeing gentrification, after being priced out of long-established Hasidic communities in Brooklyn. More tellingly, as the journalist Armin Rosen has pointed out, the apparently murderous rage against gentrification has yet to result in anyone using automatic weapons to blow away white hipsters at the newest Blue Bottle Coffee franchise. What was most remarkable about this angle, however, was how it was presented in media reports as providing "context."
The "context" supplied by news outlets after this attack was breathtaking in its cruelty. As the Associated Press explained in a news report about the Jersey Cijty murders that was picked up by NBC and many other outlets, "The slayings happened in a neighborhood where Hasidic families had recently been relocating, amid pushback from some local officials who complained about representatives of the community going door to door, offering to buy homes at Brooklyn prices." (Like many homeowners, I too have been approached by real estate agents asking me if I wanted to sell my home. I recall saying no, though I suppose murdering these people would also have made them go away.) New Jersey's state newspaper, the Star-Ledger, helpfully pointed out that "the attack that killed two Orthodox Jews, an Ecuadorian immigrant and a Jersey City police detective has highlighted racial tension that had been simmering ever since ultra-Orthodox Jews began moving to a lower-income community" - even though the assailants never lived in Jersey City and apparently chose their target simply through internet searches for Jewish institutions in the New York area. The Washington Post began its analysis of the murders by announcing that Jersey City "is grappling with whether the attack reflects underlying ethnic tensions locally and fears that it could spark new ones" - even though the rest of the article described in detail how "longtime black residents and ultra-Orthodox implants alike say that they haven't experienced significant ethnic tensions here." Nonetheless, readers were informed, "the influx of Hasidic residents comes as many of the longtime black residents feel increasingly squeezed." This was all abut gentrification, the public learned. The assailants, who wore socially acceptable clothing, were expressing an understandable communal sentiment. The newly dead Jews, on the other hand, were members of the unharassed majority, despite being the country's top hate-crime target according to the FBI. They were also rich, despite experiencing the same poverty levels as the rest of New York and New Jersey. On top of that, they wore unfashionable hats. So it kind of made sense that people wanted to murder their children with high-impact explosives.
I was not able to find any similar "context" in media reports after the 2015 massacre at a Black church in Charleston, South Carolina, or the 2016 massacre at an LGBTQ nightclub in Orlando, Florida, or the 2019 massacre at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas frequented by Latino shoppers - all hate-crime attacks that unambiguously targeted minority groups. In each of those cases, as was true in Jersey City, media coverage included sympathetic pieces about the victims, along with investigative pieces about the perpetrators, the latter focused on how perpetrators were drawn into violent irrational hatred. But in reviewing media reports from the aftermath of these events, I found no coverage of how straight people in Orlando other than the perpetrator - in other words, reasonable, non-murderous, relatable "normal" neighbors - were understandably upset about gay couples setting up shop in the neighborhood and disrupting their "way of life," or about how white people with deep family roots in Charleston felt understandably wistful about the Black community's "takeover" of certain previously white neighborhoods, or about how non-Latinos in El Paso felt "squeezed" by ongoing "tensions" with Latinos who had pushed for more bilingualism in schools.
No one covered this "context," because doing that would be bonkers. It would be hateful victim-blaming, the equivalent of analyzing the flattering selfies of a rape victim in lurid detail in order to provide "context" for a sexual assault. That doesn't mean the intergroup tensions (or the problems with flattering selfies) aren't ever worth examining. It simply means that presenting such analysis as a hot take after a massacre is not merely disgusting and inhuman, but also a form of the very same hatred that caused the massacre - because the sole motivation for providing such "context" in that moment is to inform the public that those people got what was coming to them. People who think of themselves as educated and ethical don't do this, because it is both factually untrue and morally wrong. But if we're talking about Hasidic Jews, it is quite literally a different story, and there is one very simple reason why.
The mental gymnastics required to get the Jersey City attack out of my head were challenging, especially when the Jewish community int he New York area was treated in the two weeks following this massacre to more than a dozen other assaults of varying degrees, most of them coming during the festival of Hanukkah. These included Jews being slapped, punched, kicked, and beaten on the streets by people who made their motives clear by shouting antisemtiic insults, and many other variants on this theme that received much less attention. (One that shook me personally was when a young white man broke into my students' dormitory at yeshiva University at four a.m. and started a fire - using matches from the dorm lobby's Hanukkah candle-lighting.) All this was merely an intensified version of physical assaults on Hasidic Jews in New York that had been happening regularly for over a year - incidents that ranged from run-of-the-mill acts of knocking elderly people to the ground to the rather more advanced tactic of clobbering someone over the head with a large paving stone, causing a fractured skull.
This new normal culminated in a particularly horrifying attack, when a man entered a crowded Hanukkah party at a Hasidic rabbi's house in Monsey, New York, wielding a four-foot machete, and stabbed or slashed five people, all of whom where hospitalized; one victim, who fell into a coma, died several months later from his wounds. Stabbing Jews was apparently in vogue in Monsey, as this was actually the second antisemitic knifing in town in just over a month. The previous attacks victim was beaten and stabbed while walking to morning prayers, winding up in critical condition withe head injuries. Media coverage of these attacks also sometimes featured "context" (read: gaslighting), mentioning heated schoolboard or zoning battles between Hasidic and non-Hasidic residents - even after the perpetrator was identified as a resident of a town forty minutes away. One widely syndicated Associated Press article situated the previous week's bloodbath by informing millions of readers that "The expansion of Hasidic communities in New York's Hudson Valley, the Catskills and northern New Jersey has led to predictable sparring over new housing development and local political control. It has also led to flare-ups of rhetoric seen by some as antisemitic." In other words, the cause of bloodthirsty antisemitic violence is...Jews, living in a place! Sometimes, Jews who live in places even buy land on which to live. To be fair, there were many countries and centuries in which this Jews-owning-land monkey business was illegal, though twenty-first-century Hudson Valley, the Catskills, and northern New Jersey are sadly not among those enlightened locales. Predictably, this leads to sparring, and flare-ups. Who wouldn't express frustrations with municipal politics by hacking people with a machete?"

CHANGE ME CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
"How much fucking worse...?" I looked at William with saucer like eyes.
Chuckling, William looked down to his dried, cracking hands, then looked back up at me through his eyebrows. His sharp eyes darkened and gave me the iconic 'Kubrick Stare'.
"Well, how do I put this without sounding utterly insane?" He added theatrically.
"Believe me, with the shit I'm seeing right now, you can't do much more." I bluntly stated.
"Alright then...half of my soul...is out, free, you could say. That part of me though, is what wanted to do the...dark things I did. So since that is the part of me that committed the crimes with no remorse, even though all of me did it, I suppose I was given another chance. Set free. Now part of me is running rampant in the streets, most likely wearing that dammed rabbit suit."
"Yeah... I should have specified..."
"I warned you..." William said with a knowing smirk.
"But didn't you have the suit?!"
"It's a different suit, believe me, it gets confusing..."
"How does this even happen?!" I exclaimed, rubbing my temples intensely with my fingers.
"How am I suppose to know?" William answered defensively.
"Because it happed to you!"
"Touché..." a caught off guard looking William shrugged.
Looking up at the ceiling as my head draped against the wall, I let out a deep and defeated sigh, looking back to William who's intelligent eyes seemed to be studying me.
"Well... we can't sit here all day." I said quickly as I pushed myself off of my wall.
Grabbing my keys, I turned to William with hesitancy.
Hey...okay... I still need to buy groceries, but I'm going to a Walmart and I'm going to see what they have in men's clothes too for you, Because you look like a disaster. No offense... plus, I'm not just going to leave you in rags." Spinning my keys on my pointer finger, I began to walk out of my room leaving the older man still sitting on my bed.
"Also! I'll pick you up some shower stuff too! Because, again... no offense..." I left, the comment hanging in the air as I made a face towards the notable pungency of William.
Rolling his eyes, he sneered as he got up from my bed,
"How about you try rotting in a suit for thirty five years yeah!" He yelled to me as I stood in the opening of the door
"Uh, yeah......No!" I smiled before closing it quickly behind me.
Staring at where she once stood, I sighed into the now Y/N-less apartment.
"She just left me in her apartment...alone...?" Chucking and shaking my head, I began to explore the place more in depth.
"I'm a serial killer......She knows that too! And is letting me stay in her home!" Laughing incredulously.
Walking into what you would consider the living room, I scanned the small space which contained a love seat that was the size of a two person couch, a large speaker, and a small coffee table sitting in the middle of the living room.  Sitting down in the love seat, I sighed running my hand over the the cream color fabric which fit the scheme of the rest of the house.
In a way that I couldn't explain, the room seemed lonely. Being so small, just enough for one person.
But even with the feeling of loneliness, the thought of being alone brought me a familiar comfort. A feeling I used to hate but now, I have just excepted as being apart of my existence.
Tossing my head back, I let out a sigh and closed my eyes.
They fell closed as if they weighed a thousand pounds.
I hadn't even realized, but exhaustion ruled my body. If I was being honest, I hadn't truly 'slept' in over thirty years.... And if it were possible to say so... I could definitely feel it.
As my mind sluggishly swam away from consciousness, I crossed my arms and let out another sigh,
"I'll be awake by the time she gets back..."
Driving up to the apartment, I couldn't help but be nervous to go back inside. I mean, could you blame me?!
What if he decided to leave, and now, he knows where I live and how to get in....
What if he stole my stuff?....
What if he is waiting for me to get in and then kill me? Then steal my stuff....
"Nope, we don't need to think like that....not right now." I told myself sternly and I grabbed my grocery bags from the car.
Walking up to my apartment, I awkwardly pulled out my keys from my purse as the grocery bags hung from my arms.
Slowly and cautiously opening the door. I was, readying myself for whatever was or wasn't inside, and past that door... so without further hesitation, I walked in....
But I was greeted with snoring....
Not just any kind of snoring....Dad snoring.
The loudest.
Most obnoxious kind of snoring out there.
"Ha, and I thought he was at the ready to kill me..." I chuckled shaking my head.
As quietly as possible, I walked in and put down the groceries on the counter, looking over to William every once and awhile to make sure he was still asleep.
Taking a glance once more, I walked back to my room and to my closet to grab him a blanket.
Coming back out, I expected him to wake, but as I approached him, he seemed to be snoring even louder.
I slowly draped the soft blanket over his shoulders and chest, which he unconsciously responded to as he seemed to shift into the warmth of it.
He seemed so tired, I actually felt slightly bad for him.
Standing back up with a soft smile, I quietly backed away from William hoping not to undo everything I just did.
"Sweet dreams Afton..." I softly whispered.
I opened my eyes.
And for the first time is several decades....rested.
And warm...
Looking down, a thick dark green, velvety blanket was draped over me which in fact, was quite pleasant against my arms. Looking up and around the room
Y/N was no where sight. Getting up, I removed the blanket and I was met with the cool air outside of it.
Getting up from the seat, I walked to the counter which had bottles of male shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Even a bottle of lotion. Along with that though was a note.
To William,
I hope that these will work for you. I'm in my room if you want to use shower so just nock. Also if you are hungry, help yourself to whatever I have. Or I can cook something up for us.
I caught myself smiling lightly at the note.
"Kindness like this is hard to get now a days..." I mumbled as I made my way down the hall.
Nocking gently on the young woman's door, I heard her voice from the other side.
"You can come in." Y/N said calmly.
Upon opening the door, I slowly sauntered in. Y/N didn't meet my gaze, but I know she felt it on her as she turned the page of a book that encapsulated her attention completely.
Leaning up against the wall and crossing my arms, I looked at her curiously studying her and taking in her overall appearance.
Her hair was long, it was down and wet from her shower, and her face looked clean and smooth. She had on white crew socks which she had rolled down to almost her ankles. She wore a night shirt that looked like one of my old dress shirts yet softer. Lastly, she had on black spandex shorts that were only visible to me, because her shirt lifted up the smallest bit from the position she was laying in.
To be honest, I was just relieved to know that she even had shorts on...
"You're going to burn holes in my head if you keep staring at me like that you know. If you want to shower, it's all yours. I'm already done." Y/N said, not looking up once at me and the small smirk that adorned my lips.
"You're a strange girl...." I said, as nonchalantly as possible. Which was difficult because I could barely hide the smirk growing on my face as I pushed myself off the wall and approached her bed with slow steps. Finally looking up to me, her big, doe-ish eyes watching my every movement as I approached.
"Now why is that?" She asked me coyly, putting down her book that had her full attention just a second ago.
"Ha! Well... you let me into your house yeah?... You're letting me use your shower, you bought me my own toiletries..." getting closer to her, I continued, "You know who I am... what I am capable of. I nearly killed you last week! Yet here I am...kindly being hosted by the same person." Being finally close enough,  I swiftly grabbed Y/N and she let out a gasp as I gripped her neck in my hand. With my palm against her wind pipe, one swift motion would crush it...
"Now Y/N... you'd either have to be a fool or just naive... or something else entirely... but the question still remains, aren't you scared of me? Scared that I will kill you? Because I could right now, yeah?...And no one would know..." I breathed lowly staring deep into her silver eyes with my own.
"Actually William...." Y/N sighed tiredly, "So could I..." she mused as she raised a knife up to my neck so quickly I couldn't even react. The blade's point perched on top of my Adam's apple.
"If you try to nock it away I'll shove it right into your throat. But, there will be no need for that. Because William...if you really, and I mean truly wanted me dead, you would have already done it by now.
Two, I'm not scared of you...Why? Well....your not choking me. Now you are the one looking like the fool just putting your hand on my neck! You're trying to intimidate me Afton, and that won't work. Your bluffs are see through mucker."
Letting her go, as suddenly as I grabbed her, I pulled back with annoyance and astonishment.
"Mucker? Did you just call me mucker?"
"What'da think of my British slang?" She asked pridefully.
"Needs work." I laughed stepping fully away from her.
"I don't know, I think it was pretty smooth." She shrugged, setting the knife down on her dresser.
Looking at the knife and then back to her, she met my knowing eyes. "If you weren't afraid, then you wouldn't have had it yeah?" I pushed with squinted eyes.
Smirking, she lifted up her eyebrow, "It's incredible how you didn't see me grab it right in front you...even with me in a chokehold!"
"Bullshit." I said rolling my eyes.
"Really?" Y/N asked impishly, "Then where is it?"
"You just put-" stopping in mid sentence, at the knife I watched her put down back into her dresser. She pulled from beside her leg and began spin it between her fingers.
Sighing triumphantly, she finally put the small weapon down, "Go take your shower William. I have a surprise for you when you get out."
"A surprise? Now I'm excited!" I responded facetiously.
"The sooner you stop smelling like a corpse, the sooner you can see it." She mused as she got back to her book.
"Ouch!" I exclaimed in feign hurt.
Laughing, Y/N waved me to the bathroom and I closed the door behind me.
Shaking my head in the mirror, I looked into my shuffled reflection and smiled, "I just might be able to tolerate you..."

I know this is random but you've always been so kind about listening so...
It... shouldn't really be a luxury to buy new, matching furniture that won't need to be replaced for a good few decades when you first move out. Not even necessarily all your furniture, just some of the most-used pieces. To have enough room for a small kitchen table, a couch, a few bookshelves, and space on your wall to hang clumsy art you make yourself.
To have a decent wardrobe where you can replace clothes when they wear out, to be able to affoed to do laundry, to have clothes last a good few years and be comfortable and fit (especially for me as a fat autistic person TT), to have like... a small section of "nice" stuff from mall stores that you didn't even have to buy on clearance, and the rest to come from consignment and thrift stores and a few from walmart if necessary (I know, I hate the corp but the clothes are comfy, well made, and actually have decent plus sized ranges -_-).
And after that to still have enough to buy nice things that you like - whether saving up for a gaming system or PC, having a fund for car maintenance if you live in a place where it's necessary, to be able to get books or dice or dolls or board games or other little collection things at a steady and not overly consumerist pace, to have space to put them...
And before even that to not have to eat plain rice for half a month when you have disordered eating patterns due to sensory issues, but to always have enough of safe foods to be able to meal plan all month.
Idk, supporting my partner and I off my SSI, plus a small stipend from my dad (so less than 1200 a month for two people), even with section 8 and 42), is wearing me down. It'll get a little easier when my partner gets SSI, but... idk.
Maybe what I want IS too consumerist, some kind of middle class pipe dream. Maybe what I'm actually craving is just stability and security anyway. Who knows. I just - so many things I was incredibly lucky to grow up with now are as inaccessible as gold bricks and mined diamonds (yuck!) the size of my head. Can't even afford mobility devices, food that doesn't trigger my MCAS, etc, and quite honestly I'm sick and tired of having to try and "budget my way out of poverty" like that one old Nilla wafers minimum wage post said.
I am not abled enough to DO the labor to afford cheap meals that don't make me sick for an extra 3-5 days and that doesn't cover the last week and a half anyway.
That makes a decently made couch that doesn't set off my sensory issues sound like a genie lamp.
Blech this turned into a bit of a whiny vent 😅
Have a joke: How are a toilet and a computer similar? Their "IP" addresses! ;)
Thanks for listening though. Even if you don't have the spoons to respond just, thank you
I really, really feel this. We're on a similar situation and Dave's place still has barely no furniture. When it started to get proper cold, I didn't have any actual appropriate clothes for a couple weeks. My food issues and gluten intolerance are a huge burden on our food budget, and I feel awful about it.
These are basic things no one deserves to struggle this much with. You absolutely deserve better than that. I understand your situation, I see how hard you're trying to make everything work, and I'm proud of you.

we need to start being meaner to ppl who buy whole stock of things to sell them at huge markups AND thrift store resellers. we should be SO mean to them and also not buy their shit thereby rewarding the behavior... all my local thrift stores have started charging way more for shit over the past few years and i cant afford it anymore so I have to go to walmart and the whole point of the thrift store was getting clothes i could afford while not supporting fast fashion and waste. i hate all of you. if you buy something from the thrift store and do a lot of work to it and make a new garment out of it, I can forgive you for selling it higher but if all you did was get a stain out... i can do that at home. and most people I have seen reselling don't even bother to get the stains out.

Do you own anything from Victoria's Secret "Pink" line? Do you really think the clothes are worth the price? Nope. I’m not even sure if Victoria’s Secret exists here lol. I guess there are probably a few shops in London or whatever.
What does your last incoming text say, who was it from, and how do you feel about that person? From Mike asking where the kitten’s food was. He’s my husband and I love him, though he does ask silly questions lol.
Did you have a New Year's kiss? No, I was asleep at midnight ha.
Are there any words that you cannot pronounce or that you pronounce incorrectly? Nothing is coming to mind right now.
After a long day at work or of doing something physical what tends to hurt more? Your back or your feet? My back, for sure. I have chronic back pain anyway though.
Do you have a smart phone? If so, what's your favorite app? Sure. I use Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Mumsnet the most, plus Spotify and a few games too.
Who would you say is the overall best person you know, and why? My husband. Because he picked me and continues to pick me.
If you had to choose between being a Nurse or an English teacher which would you choose and why? An English teacher - I’d hate to be a nurse - I’m really not very good with bodily fluids and bad smells lol.
Do you have a specific gas station you usually go to? Or do you stop wherever? Yeah, the one at the end of our road lol. I mean, I’ll go to other places if I need to but that one’s the most convenient.
How much older than you was the oldest person you have dated/had a relationship with? Chris was eight years older than me.
Is anything stressing you out at the moment? Nah, I’m feeling pretty chilled out right now.
What is your opinion on dating someone who already had a child/children from a previous relationship? Been there, done that, would never do it again.
Have you ever actually found a mascara that makes a huge difference for your lashes? Sure, most of them seem to do the job.
Would you rather have one or two great facial features that stand out, or have just an overall pretty face but have no special features? An overall pretty face, I think.
Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day? Did you do anything last Valentine's Day? It’s only July lol. We didn’t do anything last year, we never do.
Do you check your horoscope daily? If so, did you relate to your horoscope at all today? No.
When you need to remember something, how do you usually go about doing so? I put a reminder in my phone.
Do you think you're a confident person? In your opinion what makes someone "confident" anyways? I think I have an average amount of confidence? I mean, I’m happy to go places alone and do things alone, at least.
How would you describe someone that is your type of guy/girl? I really don’t have a type.
Do you read books often? What is your all time favorite book and author? I don’t really read much anymore, but my favourite author is probably Neil Gaiman. Neverwhere is definitely my favourite book of his but I also like Alice in Wonderland and The Night Circus. I love fantasy type stuff that’s also kind of based in reality.
Have you recently accomplished anything that you are proud of yourself for? Yes! Setting up my own successful business, and I’m also proud of myself for learning to ride horses even though I fell off in a lesson and it really knocked my confidence.
Are you still friends with any of your exes? Do you still communicate with any of them at all? I wouldn’t say we were friends but I have a few of them on my Facebook.
What is your opinion on people that shop at Sephora for makeup as opposed to buying makeup from the drugstore? I really don’t care - people can spend their money on whatever they want.
When you enter a store like Target or Walmart where is the first section you go? It depends - normally I just start at the entrance and work round unless there’s something specific I’ve gone in for.
Are you the type of person to fight for someone or walk away? It depends on the situation, but normally I’ll fight before walking away.
Is marijuana legal for "recreational use" where you live? Also what is your opinion on the recent legalization of marijuana in certain states? Nope. I don’t really agree with it being legalised but I do think it should probably be decriminalised.
Do you live on your own or with your parents/a roommate? Do you think you'd like to live alone? I live with my husband, three cats and a dog. If Mike died I think I’d prefer to live alone rather than with a roommate.
How often would you say you use Microsoft Word? Never.
What is the last online purchase you made? Some supplements for the dogs’ anal glands lol.
Do you usually have bad symptoms around "that time of the month"? Yeah, mood swings and spots beforehand, then pretty bad cramps for a couple of days - even to the point of vomiting. I also get diarrhoea for a few days lol.
Is there anyone you have to see on a daily/weekly basis that you really dislike? Nope, thankfully not.
Is your hair thick or thin? Would you say it's easy to manage? It’s really fine and flyaway - it’s not very easy to manage, no. It’s curly but frizzy and really not very nice lol. I just tie it up mostly.
Have you ever had to deal with any type of long distance relationship, whether it be a romantic relationship or a friendship? Yes.
Are you procrastinating doing anything right now? No.
How do you feel about being called sweetie/dear/honey/etc.? I’m not really a fan.
Have you ever had a thing for/relationship with a coworker? How did it end? I met Chris through work but we didn’t get together until he left.
What type of deodorant do you use? Do you notice any difference between powders and gels? Just whatever is on offer at the supermarket. I only use spray stuff though, I find roll-ons really sticky and unpleasant.
What would you say is your worst habit? Squeezing spots.
Do you have a place you go to a lot that you may be considered "a regular" at? Yeah, our local ice-cream coffee place, I guess.
Do you ever read the articles posted on the home page of Xanga? Has there ever been one that has really stood out to you? I’m sure I have done, but none of them stick in my mind now.
What is the weather currently like where you live? Rainy. It’s due to be like this for pretty much the whole of the next week lol.
Is there anyone that you text on a regular basis that you do not have saved in your phone? If so, why don't you have their number saved? Nope.
Do you have any plans for Mardi Gras? We don’t have that here.

If The Top Fits
Buying clothing online has always been problematic. In fact, it has long been one of the most contentious concerns, a reason why people still prefer brick and mortar stores, at least for some things. After all, you never really know how it will fit or even look until you can actually try it on.

When I received my regular Wired Magazine email yesterday with their latest stories, one item caught my attention: Google is now leveraging AI to create an online tool that allows shoppers to “try on” a garment before ordering. Although it is limited to women’s tops for the time being, and specifically only to items available via Google Shopping, it offers hope to women uncertain about pulling the trigger on that order.
Interestingly, though, Google is a little bit late to the game, just as it was with Bard in the wake of Chat GPT. I’ll forgive them once again, because there is still a lot of room for growth and tweaking in this race. You see, nine months ago Walmart beat Google to the draw when it announced its own Virtual Try-On tool.
Tumblr media
Essentially, both programs involve sharing some personal information so the software can then artificially drape the garment onto a virtual model. It’s little different in outcome from going to the fitting room, trying it on, and standing in front of a full-length mirror. Problem solved, right?
Well, not so fast. There are still limitations, not the least of which is a nearly universal inconsistency across women’s clothing brands and garments regarding sizing. Men have it pretty easy, because our shirts and trousers are typically measured in inches. But what is a 12? A 16? An 8?
I’m not even sure that women know, because there is so much variability. Never mind the social pressures we place on women, the result being a downward trend in sizing numbers even if only for the ego, and more confusion than ever. Incorrect fit is the most common reason for returned online clothing purchases.

Amazon has worked to solve this problem with its Amazon Prime Wardrobe program, whereby a customer can have up to seven items sent risk-free; keep what you want, return the rest, and you will be billed accordingly. Many customers thus buy the same garment in several sizes, and keep the one that fits.
All of these returns are costing businesses money. It’s one thing to take three items to the fitting room, and then let an employee return two to the rack. In the online world, the time gap between browsing, buying, and returning can easily hit two weeks.
But back to AI, which we also discussed just yesterday. While the execution is still not perfect with either Google or Walmart’s versions, they are steps in the right direction. Yes, there are some privacy concerns, because the customer is, after all, sharing personal data. In Google’s instance, the customer must select a body type from among 40 examples; in Walmart’s case, the customer uploads a selfie. Still, there is no guarantee the garment will fit perfectly, because everyone, men and women alike, have bulges in places that may defy rational thought and garment manufacturing.
Furthermore, as we all know, our shape will probably ebb and flow over time, thanks to dieting, good or bad, and physical activity—once again, good or bad. Just getting older sees most of us putting on some weight, by virtue of slowing metabolisms. Both of these AI systems would necessarily have to allow customers to update their information.
There are still many challenges for AI in the fitting room, and women’s tops are just the tip of the iceberg. If you think getting a top to fit correctly is tough, just try pants or dresses. And even for the guys, in our relatively simple world, it won’t be that easy. There are too many variables with values in flux to be entered into the algorithm.
But it’s fun to watch the computer scientists try to solve these problems nonetheless. If they can indeed address them, it will relieve me of one of the things I hate doing the most: trying on clothes. And it might just cure me of my tendency to buy the same pants in three or four shades once I find one that works.
Here’s to ya, Google and Walmart. Keep going. Shortcomings aside, I’m willing to try this all on for size once you unleash it in the Men’s department.

using the questions from here with Hauser :> Didn't answer all of them as I didnt have thought out answers for some but ah well.
______________________________________________________
how does your muse get local news and updates on current events? are they up to date with all the latest goings-on or do they prefer to avoid it altogether?
He doesn't really keep up to date with local news for no other reason than he just doesn't care enough to go out of his way. He's absolutely the type to see news articles on twitter days later, shrug about it, and then return to his day. Unless it affects him or his loved ones, he couldn't care less.
did your muse grow up with any particular television shows? do they have a favorite, or a memory tied to these shows?
There were absolutely shows he watched as a kid though none really stuck with him at the time as he was too caught up in the gang life during his early teenage years. Actually, it wasn't until his adulthood that he came to appreciate cartoons. He usually binge watches old shows (think like rugrats type old school) while he's stoned, he finds them more entertaining.
how much effort does your muse put into their costume for halloween parties and other dress-up events? do they have any go-to costumes?
He absolutely hates dress-up events if we're talking fancy dress parties. He would stick out like a sore thumb for MANY reasons there. Halloween, though, he loves though he wouldn't admit it. His effort usually depends on if he joins a costume contest or not that year. If he does, he'll go all out. If not, walmart clearance is fine.
does your muse stay up to date with the latest fashion trends? describe their style. where do they typically buy their clothes? who was their first celebrity crush?
He dresses like he's straight out of the early 70s rock scene. Absolutely not, he has no idea about fashion trends and thinks a lot of the present day stuff is pointless. Take this with a grain of salt, though, as he was absolutely a Hot Topic Mall Goth in his early teen years so. As for the celebrity crush, I wouldn't say he "crushed" on anyone in particular but he definitely vibed with Siouxie Sioux & similar musicians.
what would your muse's bio say if they were on a dating app?
He'd be the type to have a shirtless bathroom mirror pic ngl. Lots of blurry were-form selfies too. Bio would be something along the lines of :: " Werewolf4Werewolf, Pansexual, Gymbro, not interested in Packs, The only thing worse than my RBF is my mommy issues. dtf? "
Can probably guess he's not exactly popular on the dating apps lmao
what kind of phone does your muse have, and how customized is it? does it have a basic case or something more unique? is the screen cracked? do they have a popsocket or other accessories on it?
He definitely has something cheap that breaks very easily, which is evident by the large crack on his screen from one end of the phone to the other. He's had it for years and until it finally completely dies on him, has absolutely no interest in getting a new one. It still works so its still good. He doesn't have a case but he does have a lil bat charm on it that makes him think of Ambrose.
who was the one family member your muse always looked up to, if any?
His aunt by FAR as she was the only one willing to actually sit down and talk with him and hear him out on his issues. Dude still has a lot of anger issues he's working through but talking with Solange helps him rationalize a LOT. She's the only one in his family he really gives half a fuck about.
if your muse drives a car, have they personalized it in any way (bumper stickers, things hanging from the rearview mirror, etc.)?
He doesn't drive, he can't afford a car. If he can't get there by way of his wolf form then it's public transit all the way. If he could, he'd try to avoid the latter though.
if given a choice between having a night in or spending the night out on the town, which would they most likely choose and why?
Night in. There's less people there. Occasionally he might opt for a bar or a club but it's not really often he does. Otherwise it's Ambrose dragging him out to explore the city.
what are your muse's favorite scents, and what do they associate them with?
He loves that smell just before it rains and the smell of burning wood. It gives him a cozy campfire feeling. He's also finding out he's slowly enjoying the scent of a specific brand of cologne that Ambrose wears but that one might be a bit too obvious.
what kind of shopper is your muse? are they a slow, methodical shopper, a list-maker, or a grab the items and go kind of person? how long do they usually spend getting their groceries? how long do they spend clothes shopping? do they use changing rooms?
Hauser absolutely is not the type to take his time shopping. He knows what he's there for and nothing more. In and out quickly is his preferred way. As for clothes shopping, he usually seeks out thrift stores or secondhand shops. He'll use changing rooms as he's too concerned about wasting money.
if something bad happens, who will your muse call first?
Depends on the situation. If he's in trouble/hurt, he's calling Ambrose. If he needs advice or to vent/rant/etc, he's calling his aunt.
if your muse was made into an action figure, what would their five catchphrases be?
"FUCKING BITCH." (it is quickly discontinued) what are your muse's biggest fears, and what caused them?
Abandonment despite the fact he's usually the first to run away, as has been proven several times throughout his story. As for why he's like this, simply it is all he's known not to trust anybody. It usually ends in him getting physically hurt or his friends murdered.
does your muse know how to fight? describe their fighting style. if someone was threatening them and about to attack, how would they respond?
He can fight, yes. He doesn't have a particular "style" of fighting, just very much Bite Them Before They Bite You. He only fights in his were-form tho as claws+fangs are a lot more effective.
will your muse eat at fast food restaurants? if they're on a time crunch, what type of food will they grab?
Oh fast food is his jam (totally not because he never learned how to cook). His go to is usually just a burger & fries
did your muse's parents pass down any quirks or habits that your muse now does? what are they?
If they did, he's not aware of any. His parents cared for him while at the same time let him do whatever he liked. (which ultimately led to him being a rowdy teen that got involved in gangs but I digress). They could have been far worse parents but they could have been far better too rather than leaving their only child to deal with his own emotions & issues.
does you muse like road trips, or would they prefer to fly in a plane? what are their thoughts on roadside attractions and tourist traps? when visiting new cities, do they prefer to see the most popular sites, or pretend to be a local and blend in?
As someone that was on the run for awhile for two separate incidents, he highly prefers staying home. He likes the stability he's built for himself. If he ever went on a trip, he'd be too anxious the entire time to actually enjoy himself as he associates long distance trips with those two times he was trying to escape.
what does your muse's bedroom look like? is it cluttered or clean? do they use the overhead lighting, or use lamps and other things to provide a better ambience? do they make their bed every morning or leave it unmade?
Messy but in a maximalist sense? Lots of vintage old heavy rock memorabilia & posters & such, things like that. Everything has a place and everything is in it's place & if its ever "cleaned", it'll feel messy to him since he wouldn't be able to find anything. He's also not really the type to make his bed but sometimes he'll smooth out the wrinkles. Sometimes. He's usually always burning some type of incense, usually patchouli.
is your muse a 'this is a really nice box, i should save it' kind of person, or do they tend to throw things out no matter what?
He's not a hoarder but he definitely collects a lot of things, definitely evident in his home by all the knick knacks and tiny things he has. If he likes it, he will try to get it.

Painting Business - 13 Point Checklist of Essential Tools Most Needed to Start a Painting Business
Tumblr media
If you are considering starting a commercial or residential painting business you will only need some basic low-cost tools to start with. You can buy other tools as more jobs come along and with your down payments. Here is a list of the most essential painting business tools needed to get you started.
1.) Quality Cage Frame - Also known as a paint roller. Wooster and Purdy both have strong, commercial-use cage frames sold at most professional paint stores.
2.) Extension Pole - Get yourself a good medium-size fiberglass extension pole for rolling out walls and ceilings.
3.) Wall-Sander - I always sand walls and ceilings before I roll them out. It cleans up cobwebs and anything else that needs to be knocked down to make the walls and ceilings smooth.
4.) Roller Bucket - I use Wooster's roller bucket. It is tall, square and has a lid. It is made out of durable plastic and balances a lot better than a paint tray and washes out easy. It's a must have.
5.) Cut-in Bucket - I like to put some paint in a small plastic bucket for cutting in. There are small 1-gallon buckets of drywall compound that when empty make a great cut-bucket plus they have a lid. They will last for years.
6.) Step Ladder - A regular wooden 5-foot step ladder works perfect for most homes. If I need a 6-foot ladder I have an aluminum one for that. Most of the time all I need is my 5-footer and I am only 5'6" so there you go. Know more here cepillo dewalt
7.) 16' Extension Ladder - Great for stairwells or ranch-style exterior jobs. I use my 16-foot extension ladder more than any other size. I also have 20' and a 24' extension ladders, but i couldn't get by without my little 16-footer.8.) Drop Cloths - I like using the runner type the most. They are inexpensive, light to carry and can be moved around the room easily. I also have 9 x 12's on hand.
9.) Fluorescent Light - Interior painting without a fluorescent light is nearly impossible, especially on a cloudy day. Fluorescent light is a nice white light that is great for painting and shows up the colors in their true form.
10.) Tool Bucket - An empty 5-gallon bucket makes a great tool bucket. I keep my pliers, a hammer, razor-blade knives, a caulk gun, etc., in my tool bucket.
11.) Small Fan - I bought a $30 blower type fan made by Stanley Tools from Walmart. It dries out walls and ceilings quickly so you can get back to work cutting in and moving around the room without it being wet.
12.) Drywall compound - I hate Spackle. It flashes under paint jobs. I use the Sheetrock brand of 90-minute quick-dry drywall compound found at Lowes or other hardware stores for around $11 a bag. It will last me all year long. It is the powder formula and is easy to mix up right on the job with water and a small cut bucket. This way you don't have to carry a heavy 5-gallon pale around with you that can also freeze during the wintertime and can get lots of chunks in it over time.
13.) Caulk Gun - I use painters caulk all the time to fill small gaps between woodwork, trim and walls. Most paint stores have it on hand. I use the 35-year interior/exterior type.
