Make a playlist of 5-10 songs for your OC/WoL (for flavor, make a aesthetic collage for the playlist cover)
Thank you for the ask!
So I went one step further then the prompt because some songs, looking at you SPG, I feel would look random without an explanation for why I chose them, plus I added a relevant/favourite quotes from the song because I could 😊
I feel like this is also outing my ever so random music taste lmao
If you click the collage it will take you to an actual playlist of the songs too! Below the read more is the song explanations~💕
Tumblr media
What We Need Are Some Heroes - SPG
"You know brighter day is just around the bend. What we need are some heroes, with wills of iron, their hearts in the stars through the darkest of days"
I feel like say this too much but Meow isn't the canonical WOL so he isn't a hero. So this feels very much what he would be thinking when Titania becomes a light warden and hope all seems lost, what we need are some heroes.
Moonchild - RM (BTS)
"That's how it's supposed to be, yeah, all this pain and all these sorrows that's our destiny, see?" "Moonchild, don't cry. When moon rise, it's your time."
This song is all about surviving hardships by looking at the moon and finding comfort in the darkness which I feel is very much what Meow would be doing once the night comes back to the first. Also he is a moon cat so he is literally a moonchild!
Please Explain - SPG
"Please explain, What to do if the point is moot? What's a moot anyway??" "Guess we need some good-old-fashioned explaining, please explain it to me"
Meow doesn't know very much from living the first half of his life with the pixies so I feel like this would be very common thing he would ask Uranger, once he gets to Il Mheg, and even more so when he finally arrives in the Crystarium. Please ignore how robot themed it is, it fits so well apart from that lmao
Burnin' Love - Wynonna Judd
"'Cause your kisses lift me higher, like a sweet song of a choir and you light my morning sky with burning love"
Perfect song for his burning love for his husband Moren 💕
Sweet Hibiscus Tea - Penelope Scott
"And I'm not your protagonist, I'm not even my own. I don't know anything, I don't even know what I don't know"
I feel like that quote from the song covers it to be honest. Meow sometimes feels not in control of his life as he's not strong enough to be a hero for anyone even in his own life. He doesn't understand much of the world which, at least at first, would make him feel like a hindrance.
Filter - Jimin (BTS)
"Mix the colours in the palette, pick your filter, which kind of me do you want?"
This was honestly the first song I ever linked to Meow in my brain. Just Meow trying to show off all the different sides of himself to pick the one someone would like best.
Me & My Baby (Saturday Night) - SPG
"With The dancing and the singing, like the weekdays never happened. I could be, I should be, dancing right now!"
Meow absolutely loves dancing, I can just imagine him asking Moren on a date to go dancing to forget the worries of the week!
Sex Sells - Lovejoy
Bruh when the singer is revealed to be an abuser legit the day after putting this song for this ask prompt 😠 fuck you Wilbur Soot.
Permission to dance - BTS
"I wanna dance, the music's got me going, ain't nothing that can stop how we move"
I feel like this is how Meow would try to deal with sad emotions, he would try to do something fun and enjoy himself instead, nothing good would come out of just wallowing in his sorrows. He enjoys dancing so I could see this as how he cheers himself up, he doesn't need permission to dance! :)
It's Not A Game, It's Just A Ride - Ride the Cyclone
"This ride, it has heartbreak. This ride, it has pain. All kinds of blue skies, no shortage of rain, yes there is laughter and the telling of lies and maybe in darkness we open our eyes" "And the world will keep on spinning, with no ending or beginning so just take a look around"
Is it cheating to choose a closing musical song for my last song on the playlist? Maybe a little but I feel this song just fits a lot. Life is not a game, its a ride, you don't need to measure yourself against others. I feel like Meow learns that lesson eventually and just enjoys his simple life without measuring it against others.

Tumblr media
(Not my gif!!! Credit to owner!!)
Summary: You and Bradley are having your first fight after your baby is born. How will you both come to a solution and learn to cope through this together?
Warning(s): Angst, cursing, mentions of parental insecurity, depression, anxiety, has a happy ending (Shout out to you hard-working mothers out there)
MESSAGE: (If you are someone who is dealing with depression, anxiety, etc. Please reach out for help. I know it may seem worthless, but I promise you, it'll help.)
A/N: Some songs I listened to for inspiration while writing this piece (Highly suggest you listen as you read!): He Deserves your Love - Sir, Selfish - Future ft. Rihanna, Glimpse of Us - Joji, Serendipity - BTS (Jimin)
"I don't have a say in when I get deployed. I don't know how many times I have to say this." the frustration in Bradley's voice was evident.
You had just been told that he was ordered for deployment and had to be shipped out for two months. Not even three months after your daughter had been born.
"I understand that when you are given orders you can't say no. I'm just upset that I'll be left here alone raising our daughter on my own." You stressed out to him as you tried your best to keep your voice quiet so your daughter would not wake up from her sleep.
"You won't be alone Y/N. You have Penny, your mom, the guys and Pete if you need help with anything. I can't do anything about this, so I don't understand why you're getting so upset." He was trying his best to hold back his frustration. He could feel his anger starting to appear, but he would never dare to lash out at you. At the end of the day you were his wife, and he was not going to mistreat you like that.
"Because you won't be here Bradley!" You finally revealed. The tears started to fall from your eyes, and you had decided to just let all your feelings become evident.
"You'll be gone at a place where I don't know if you'll make it back. Where I don't know if you'll be coming back to me and our daughter..." you hiccupped as you tried your best to calm yourself down.
As he was getting ready to respond to your concerns, you cut him off and proceeded to talk. He needed to know how you felt, or else he would never know what was bother you and make the situation worse later down the line.
"I know that this is your job. I know that this is something you love. But I also know that I cannot raise our daughter alone. I need you Bradley. Our daughter needs you. I don't want to have to face the day where she finally realizes you're not there and asks where you are and if you are coming home. Because I don't know when you will come home. I don't know if you will. You can promise me everything in the world, but at the end of the day, you and I both know that you not coming home is a possibility. And I don't want her to grow up without her father. I-I don't. Not, not like I-I did." the dam finally broke and this time you just let yourself cry, and cry, and cry.
It felt good to finally get this off your chest, it felt good to cry. But what you didn't feel good about was unintentionally making Bradley feel guilty about his career. You would never want him to regret dedicating his life to protecting this country. But, at the very least, he needed to know how you felt.
As you continued to cry with your hands covering your face, Bradley stood there and let your words sink in. He understands what you are feeling. He would never deny that him leaving you every time he had a deployment was hard. But he has a family now, and this time he would be leaving his wife and a child.
He knew that you being on your own without him can be lonely, but he also knew that would be the one taking care of the baby primarily on your own. Waking up multiple times throughout the night to feed and change her diaper, not get enough sleep, make sure to maintain the house, go to work, pay the bills, etc.
He watched you crumble in front of him. Your sadness causing a huge weight to your shoulders.Your gut wrenching sobs that you tried to control to not disturb your daughter. He knew the main reason why you were afraid to be on your own without him. you were afraid that you were going to have another depressive episode again.
After your daughter was born, he noticed after a couple of weeks that you weren't bonding with her as much as he was. The connection was not there. It wasn't until he came home one day to see you in bed, tears streaming, your hands in your hair, throat raw from crying as you curl up into a ball that he truly knew something was wrong.
He did everything he could to get you the help you need. To learn how to cope with your feelings. To build a better connection with your daughter. Overtime, massive improvement was seen and he was so proud of you. Your bond with daughter was now stronger than ever, and now everything she did consumed you.
Taking a step forward, Bradley pulls you into his chest. His arms are so tight around you, to the verge of almost suffocation. But you didn't even notice. Your arms instinctually wrapping around him as you cried in his neck.
"Everything is going to be okay baby." he soothed you as he kept you in his grip. He knew that you needed this, this type of security. It was one of the few things that made you feel safe.
"B-But what if-if it's not Bradley? W-What if I have an-another episode? I-I don't w-want that to-to happen?" you said brokenly as you thought about the past.
Pulling slightly away from you, he puts a finger under your chin to make you look at him. He needed you to listen and understand what he was going to say.
"Listen to me baby. You are strong, a very strong woman and a very good mother. I know you're scared of that happening again, but I know you are stronger than that." he started off as he gently wiped your continuous tears away.
"You gave birth to our daughter, you fought constant battles with your mind that affected your relationship with her, but in the end you won. You fought those demons, and now you are better than ever. " he leaned his forehead down to yours, your noses slightly touching.
"Its normal to feel sad every once in a while, and I know there is a chance that can happen while I'm gone, but you have to believe in yourself that you can overcome those moments and go back to being that strong woman that I know your capable of. Not for me, but for our daughter. Not having you both with me is going to be pure hell, I'm gonna have my moments too. But at the end of the day, I have reason to come home and that's you two. If I can do it, so can you. I believe in you, our daughter believes in you. And most of all, we both love you. You're strong baby, you just have to believe in it. "
And with that he gave you a long and hard kiss to your forehead, while keeping you in his arms. Your tears had stopped the river, but they were still there. You knew he was right. You knew that you could do this, you just had to make yourself believe that you can.
"I am strong." you whispered out as you kept your grip on him.
"You are." he replied back once he pulled away from your forehead.
"I am very strong." you said louder, although your voice was a bit wobbly.
"You are very strong." he praised you. He leaned down to give you a soft kiss in which you embraced whole-heartedly. Although you were still sad that he was leaving, you felt more prepared to look after your daughter when it was time for him to go.
"I'm a very good mother." you said, after the kiss.
"You're a wonderful mother." he said.
"I can do this." you stated firmly. This time, no hesitation, and no hint of stuttering in your voice.
"You can do this."

I've had a thought for some time now... what if Akashi was a BTS fan?
At first, I was entertaining this idea simply because BTS and KNB are my biggest interests, but then I started to think harder about it, and I think it would make sense for him to be a fan of them.
Now, I know some of my KNB moots on Tumblr listen to Kpop, but I know that not everyone does, and even the ones who do are not all fans of BTS. With that being said, I'll try and explain things as best as I can for all the folks unfamiliar with BTS so this headcanon is easier to understand even for non-fans.
I predict this is going to be a very long post, so I'll have mercy on y'all and put the rest of this under the cut. Enjoy!
A summary of who BTS is for anyone reading who doesn't know them:
7-member music group from South Korea. They debuted on June 13th, 2013, and are comprised of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. The members are RM (leader and rapper), Jin (vocalist), Suga (rapper), J-Hope (rapper), Jimin (vocalist), V (vocalist), and Jungkook (vocalist). Here's a picture for reference. I also wrote their stage names down next to each member so you know who is who.
Tumblr media
BTS is an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan, roughly translating to "bulletproof boys". So, BTS aimed to be the bulletproof shield to protect people--especially those in their 10s and 20s--from harsh societal criticism that rained down on them like bullets. Their fanbase is called ARMY, an acronym that stands for "Adorable Representative MCs for Youth" (yeah I know it's wordy), and with that name, BTS hoped that listeners of their music would be inspired to find their voice and spread positivity. While they do have their fair share of cute/silly songs, a very large chunk of their work is lyrically introspective and touches on a lot of social, psychological, and even political issues. Bolstered by the fact that their music is self-written and co-produced, their authenticity is one of their biggest strong points and has allowed millions of people worldwide to relate to the messages in their music.
That being said, what does this have to do with Akashi being an ARMY? Well, I just wanted to imagine how he would become fascinated with a group like them, so I'll be splitting up this post into sections. I don't know how many sections I'll do, I'm winging this as I go, so let's just start with section 1.
HOW DID HE BECOME AN ARMY?
Mibuchi. Mibuchi strikes me as someone who would already be an ARMY and would convince Akashi to give them a shot. Maybe Akashi catches Mibuchi gushing over some photos of them online and it happens enough times that he finally cracks and asks who they are.
As someone who is an ARMY of 7+ years, when someone asks me who BTS is, I have to hold myself back from exploding where I stand because I get so excited when someone wants to know about them because they're so amazing that I always want more people to discover their music. Mibuchi, being the dedicated ARMY that he is, would instantly fill Akashi in on the details of who they are, the type of music they make, and who each of the members is, and Akashi would listen very intently, getting more curious the more he listens to Mibuchi talk about them.
Something I usually do when people ask for BTS recs is ask them for their favorite genres. The reason why I do that is because BTS has experimented with so many genres that their discography is incredibly diverse, probably more diverse than most artists I've ever listened to. So, I usually just fine-tune my recommendations to people's preferences to make the initial listening experience more palatable. And that's what Mibuchi does for Akashi. Once he gets Akashi's favorite genres, he sends him a playlist of BTS songs that fit his preferences. And so, because Akashi isn't one to turn down music recommendations, he keeps his word and listens to the playlist front to back.
After finishing the playlist, Akashi lays on his bed and stares at the ceiling, the chemistry of his brain permanently altered, wondering how on earth he went so long without knowing who BTS was.
AKASHI'S BIAS AND BIAS-WRECKER
If you don't know what these terms mean, having a 'bias' just means you have a favorite member. It's someone you feel your attention is naturally drawn to more than others in the group. You can be drawn to them for multiple reasons such as liking their voice, thinking their fashion is cool, or having a similar personality to theirs. There really are no rules for this kind of thing. A 'bias-wrecker' is a member who steals (said endearingly) your attention away from your bias, on occasion. Think of it as two members constantly replacing each other as your favorite. However, this is not always the case and not every ARMY has a bias/bias-wrecker. Some spread their attention pretty evenly across all the members and don't really have a particular favorite. But it's a fun question ARMYs like to ask other ARMYs every now and again, so for the sake of this post, I will include who I think Akashi's bias and bias-wrecker would be if he had them.
So, right off the bat, I know deep in my heart that Akashi's bias would without a doubt be Suga.
Tumblr media
Reasons why I think Suga would be his bias:
All of the BTS members are authentic, but Suga is most notably known for his raw unfiltered lyrics and his candidness about his past experiences. He suffered a lot in his teens and 20s to be able to make music the way he is today. Despite all that, he's unafraid to speak about his mental health journey and often encourages ARMYs to be open about our own journies as well so we can normalize conversations around it and get the support we need. Through listening to Suga's story, Akashi would probably relate a lot to his struggles and gain strength from his words.
Suga's stage name is actually short for "shooting guard" because that was the basketball position he used to play back when he was in high school. So, he would get extra points in Akashi's book simply for that. I know he'd be excited to find out that piece of information and relay it back to Mibuchi, who would then show Akashi videos of Suga playing basketball and get him more excited about Suga. I can just imagine him going into captain mode and making little comments here and there like "he has a nice release" or "his shots go in very cleanly" or "I would have scouted him for Rakuzan if he were a high-schooler".
I also think there are a few similarities in their personalities Akashi would pick up on. Aside from their shared love of basketball and personal struggles with mental health as teens, I would say they're both pretty introverted, are extremely hard workers, both play piano, both show affection to their loved ones through acts of service, and both of them are incredibly strong, despite all that they've been through.
But who is Akashi's bias-wrecker? I'd have to say it'd be RM.
Tumblr media
Reasons why I think RM would be his bias:
As I've mentioned before, RM is the official leader of BTS. I think for that reason, he would garner a lot of respect from Akashi, who would be impressed as to how he could be the leader of a globally recognized group starting from such a young age, especially when he hears about all of the hardships BTS had to face as they climbed up the ladder. As someone who has also had to step up and be a leader from a very young age, Akashi would look to RM and take notes of his leadership style to see if there's anything he could implement in his own life.
RM is also one of the main lyricists of BTS and the way he can speak and carry himself with such poise and maturity would also be another thing that Akashi respects. He loves to analyze RM's lyrics for every use of double entendres, wordplay, and literary/psychology references. (I have a separate headcanon that Akashi is at least conversational in Korean, if not fluent, so I'm sure that would make RM's lyrics all the more interesting to dissect.)
Akashi would also find similarities between himself and RM, too, outside of being leaders of their respective teams such as a love for the fine arts and nature, high intelligence (RM has an IQ of 148), and his down-to-earth demeanor.
FAVORITE BTS GROUP SONGS:
So I'm just gonna go album by album and list the songs that I think Akashi would pick as his favorite from each one, mostly due to the message in the lyrics, but some will also be because I think the instrumentals would be up his alley. I'll also provide some links to lyric videos so you guys can listen and read along to further understand my song choices. Any songs with an asterisk(*) next to them will link to a music video, so just turn on the closed captions. Fair warning, the older music videos have translated captions that are a little bit clunkier, but they're still readable. Anyway, let's go!

HOW AKASHI FEELS BEING AN ARMY
I think finding out such a prominent music act is singing about topics he directly relates to is such a shock to him. It's like he feels seen at long last and he isn't going through these issues alone. Even if BTS doesn't know who he is, the fact that their music speaks to him is enough to comfort him through tough times.
I'd like to think that when he's had an exceptionally rough day, he likes to just lie in bed and listen to them. He seems like the type of person to reserve time out of his day to just listen to their music in silence.
Because he became such a fan, he and Mibuchi would now have so much more to talk about with each other, and Akashi would also come to understand why Mibuchi would be such a big fan of a group like them. Together, they'd stream new releases right when they come out, watch BTS's livestreams together, and, if they're able, go to concerts together. Concerts are more of a new thing for Akashi since I feel like he has never been to a proper concert before, so the first concert he'd ever go to would probably be super overwhelming, but he'd feel reassured with Mibuchi by his side. And the concert ends up being amazing and Akashi feels like he just...belongs. Something would finally click for him that day, and he would realize that this level of connection, not just with the artists, but with the fans as well, was something he really enjoyed.
BTS would kinda stay as mainly Akashi and Mibuchi's thing, but Hayama and Nebuya do give BTS a shot, too, and find they do like a lot of their music as well. Their favorite songs are probably the more upbeat ones, though, as opposed to most of the ones I chose to be Akashi's favorites.
But the bottom line is that being able to come together with his friends over a common interest outside of basketball makes Akashi happy and he hopes he can continue to share memories with his friends through music.
Okay, I've gotta cut it off here, I have to get ready for a family dinner outing. If you managed to make it to the end of my post, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings and also the music I linked. Bye for now!

Renaissance a Film by Beyonce
Tumblr media
Beyonce the artist that you are.
I love this movie so much I can't stop thinking about it. Beyoncé's mind works in a way that is so fascinating to watch.
I don't know how many times she is going to solidify as one of the best performers to ever exist, but I hope she never stops. She was born to be an artist.
Homecoming is one of my favorite albums, in my mind, there was no way she could top that performance and documentary, and then she did it.
It's terrifying thinking that she would top the Renaissance tour.
I'm a sucker for bts content, but because Beyonce doesn't promote anything, watching her behind the scene is way more fascinating to me.
Beyonce is a great filmmaker. The way she created the storytelling for this movie is amazing.
I love every part of this. It had so many funny and touching moments.
Like what do you mean people were gaslighting her. If she tells you that there is a bigger lens you find a bigger lens, damn.
And the part where creative director Blue Ivy didn't let her cut Diva, exactly queen. She risked her neck for us.
I love that she said she has nothing to prove to anyone at this point because she is so right.
Beyonce once said to Chloe and Halle: ‘Don’t worry about trying to dumb yourself down. The world is gonna have to catch up to you.' and that's one of the major reasons I love Beyonce.
I feel like she is the only artist out there who creates a whole concept for an album. She doesn't collect a bunch of songs and throw them in an album together. She was ahead of time when she said "People don't make albums anymore"
Also she looked so pretty the whole movie. Like it made go Damn this bitch is beautiful.
Like look at her being gorgeous while mad at the incompetence of other people.
Tumblr media
I just wish we could've seen more of the process of creating the tour.
I want to see why she put a tank in the middle of the show. Was it because of the knee?
Why no opening act?
Why did she decide to have so many outfits?
Why did she cut Thique/AUIYM and Drunk in love, just to bring them back in some shows. Was it because she got sick?
What did she think about the mute challenge? Did she expect it to become this whole thing?
What does she think about the beyhive naming her horse Reneigh?
I feel like she shared so much but she was still holding back.
I love to see Blue and her work ethic. Rumi is so lovely and funny. I love her saying she was in "Texas bama, Houston". She was so funny for that and doing the Alien superstar's choreography.
Also, It's so funny to me that when people knew that she was going to talk about the power outage in Alien Superstar we were going to see her cussing people, but nope she understood and just took advantage of the situation.
I just love Beyoncé so much. I need this movie in a streaming service by yesterday. I need to rewatch it every day.

heyy~ i am here to make a request 🥺
so for the member, our maknae teddy bear jongho with the prompts 31 and 39 please!!
kindly make the genre angsty at the start, then gets all steamy yet fluffy for the ending.
I won't say anything about the plot, I'll leave it all up to you~ thank you so much and keep up the good work bby!! 💚💚
Gonna fuck you so hard that you forget you ever even met that asshole
Tumblr media
Paring : Choi Jongho x Reader
Genre : Angst, Smut, Fluff
Song to listen: House of cards (BTS)
Warning : Cursing, Average smut
Your college is famous for many things but Choi Jongho being in your college is like another thing for your college to be famous. Not only because he is heavenly handsome but also because his unbelievable skill in bike riding. You won't deny you weren't staring at him the whole time when you two had the first crossover. And one day, Chemistry lab class made you two closer which is why he has become your friend though you have heard rumors of him making girls' life hell. But it wasn't proven to you yet so you neglected all those and started going out with him as one of his closest friends. But maybe somewhere in your heart there was something unusual, something that you were afraid to open. A closet where your dark desires took place after becoming friends woth Jongho.
After his last bike race that he invited you to last night, you woke up from sleep in the morning and hear your roommate almost breaking your door, "Y/n, open the door. You are finished." You get up and open the door trembling as you were still half asleep.
"What happened?" You ask her and she showed you her phone. Everyone in the college group chat is gossiping about you having one night stand with Jung Wooyoung, your one year senior, which was an accident. But people are saying you seduced him to make this happen and you were onto him. So, people are calling you slut, whore making things worse. You and Wooyoung both promised a year ago that this was gonna be a secret but it is up now. Wooyoung wanted to make it go further but you denied because you never had feelings for him. You were so drunk that ended up hooking up with him not really wanting it for real. You trusted him because he has never been bad with any person and he kept the promise for a year. He won't possibly spread this rumor after a year.
"Is it true? You never told me about it," your roommate tells you and you fall on the ground pulling your hair, pressing your feet on the ground. It must be Choi Jongho whom you shared you little secrets because he shared his, only with you.But you didn't know he would be the one playing with your emotions this way.
You forget your sadness and get up grabbing your overcoat. There is no time for washing your face, fixing an outfit. You need answers from him, right now.
You drive to his house and ring the bell only to see him opening the door with half smile, fluffy messy hair, in his boxer and yesterday's t-shirt. You gulp down your weird feelings about him and grab the door cutting his sweet, "Hi!"
"Why did you do that?" You ask him, your brows curling in pain. You never expected this from him but he did break your heart in a way you can never imagine.
"What are you talking about? Get inside, it's freezing outside," he says pulling you inside the house. You are unbelievably calm right now, you don't know how he makes it possible. He is such a manipulator!
As he is still grabbing you, you jerk off his hands, "Don't touch me"
"What's wrong with you?" He asks you not knowing anything about what's going on.
"Whom did you talk about me and Wooyoung?" You straight up ask him showing the chats about you being a gold digger for seducing Wooyoung, the nice rich guy.
Jongho's eyes get big seeing the chats, "Oh my God, y/n!" You try to read his expression, the lies covering his face. Is he concerned? No, he is playing!
"Why did you do it?" You again ask him.
"I swear, I didn't. But last night, I had a fight with Wooyoung because he was shit talking about you," he says making you more surprised.
"What do you mean you had a fight with Wooyoung? Why would-"
"Because he was calling you the best one to have sex with and how you...." He couldn't say any further as you fall back.
He tries to touch you but you again jerk his hand off you, "You're such a fucking liar."
"You are an idiot. Do you trust Wooyoung more than me?" He asks you shooting you with an unbelievable question.
"Who are you two? Why would I even trust you two? Men are so fucking disgusting. That's what your gossip is? Don't you have anything else to do? I don't understand, Choi Jongho how you didn't feel bad doing this to me. What if I get expelled? And people talking about me. Fuck, I'm gonna die hearing those nonsense," you kick his shoebox as tears appear in the corner of your eyes. You're literally sweating right now, your hands trembling because you don't understand how you're gonna face the college.
"I've told you, I fucking haven't told anyone," he again says trying to look at you.
You look in his eyes, "I should have believed them. You can really make girl's life hell," you start to leave but he grabs your hand again.
"Y/n, please," but you never listen. You take your car and leave his house.
That day in college, you try to ignore people's audacity of calling you everything you are not. As you walked into the room, everyone's eyes were on you as usual. You didn't know where to look, how to face them. Anxiety creeping inside your head like black clouds overwhelming you.
Even Wooyoung seems to say something to his friends about you but you sit on your seat not trying to care. But all of a sudden, you see Jongho getting up from his seat and punching him in the face. You stand up seeing Wooyoung falling in front of the class.
"Never say that again or I might kill you next time, Jung Wooyoung," he says and Wooyoung gets up, "Who you do think you are? Her boyfriend? No. Her brother? No. What are you?" He is surely poking Jongho but you don't understand what to do.
Jongho tries to reply but can't come up with a valid answer. What is he to you? Nothing, right? Not even friend anymore.
"Why does it matter to you? She is a sane girl and you have no right spreading stupid rumors about her," Jongho says and you realize when Wooyoung doesn't defend him. He is the one who spread the rumor then?
"How is it a rumor when we have actually fucked?" Wooyoung asks smirking earning another punch from Jongho but you scream, "Stop. Please stop!" You feel tears brimming down from your eyes. You run outside the class and leave the campus. You've started feeling disgusted remembering about the night, how good he made you feel, how he kissed you like you were the best thing to taste now he is talking like you were a garbage he was using for fun.
You drove back home and as you start getting inside your house, you feel Jongho's hand on you door, "Please let me in." You don't even say a word and get inside not really care if he is inside or not.
Your eyes still filled with tears as you drop your bag pack on the ground.
"Y/n, please don't be like this," he says while you feel more disgusted, ashamed of yourself, you've started to think you're a slut too.
"Why you do you care when you made it worse?" You tell him as he stands in front you.
"Y/n, I am sorry," he says trying to reach your hands but you back off, "Take your fuckin apology and fuck off."
Suddenly he screams, "I screwed up, all right. I know I screwed up but I never once lied to you. I've done a lot of shit in my life, but loving you is different."
The voices in your head stops, your blood rushing seems calming down hearing what he said. Did you hear it wrong? You surprised look give him chance to cup your face, "I am fucking in love with you that's why I couldn't hear what he said. I wished it was me that night with you every time he talked about it. He is such an asshole, y/n. He didn't deserve to touch you. He is su-" you pull his shirt's collar and press your chappy lips on his. The last tear fighting with you, finally fall down as he kisses you back cupping your face like it may break if he is not this gentle.
You don't know what's more important than his lips on yours, his hand slighting down on your waist picking you up, making you sit on the cabinet of your living room. You don't even try matching his rhythm, it's like it was meant to match.
Was this hidden beneath my heart? Why didn't I know about this necessity of devouring him before?
As he breaks the kiss for having air, he moves your hair from your face, "I never thought you felt the same way."
"Why? Cause I always matched you with my roommate?" You ask him smiling and pokes your nose, "Yes, of course," he again places his hands around your waist pulling you closer. This time touching your cheeks with his, "I missed hugging you and this smell of yours," he says as his hand starts working on your back.
He never aparts his lips from your neck, not even when he unzips your black dress and slides it down on your waist. You let your hands work on his buttons, making is shirt fall on the ground. You never even thought of anything happening between you two like this. You were just being around him, admiring his company, casual outing, drinks at party with him, everything seems normal until he said that he loves you.
Maybe you never tried to dig deep inside your thoughts until his lips are roaming around your bare skin, so warm, so soft. Wet kisses on the edge of your chest, handling you very well.
As his hands start working under you dress, right on your inner thighs, spreading you, you knew you were about to lose it all today.
"I didn't even know that I've been wanting you so bad," you say as he bends over kissing you. Your mind is a mess but you're trying to cope up with it.
"Doesn't matter when you're all mine right now and I'm all yours," he says kissing your thigh firmly. You know this is a mess, maybe it's too fast yet it feels like the best decision you've ever made when he is in between your legs.
Your soft yet luscious gaze makes him lock his lips on yours again because God knows how many times he wanted tp taste those but couldn't. And when he part his lips from your, his hands reaching under your waistband, "I'm gonna fuck you so hard that you forget you ever even met that asshole," his words, then sudden attack on your neck leaves you dazed.
But when you are about to make another move on him crossing your legs around him, you see your roommate's bag falling from her hand. You didn't even hear her coming.
"I'm sorry, I'm l-leaving," she says and runs away in her room leaving you two embarrassed.
You push Jongho away realizing, you are making her feel uncomfortable and get on your feet.
"I-Maybe you should leave today," you tell Jongho looking down, you don't want him to see your flushed face.
"Do you wanna go on a date with me today,? I can wait for you outside," he tells you bending to look into your eyes and you become for flushed like how can he be so adorable when he was talking about making you forget an asshole by fucking you.
"O-okay, I'm getting ready," you say looking a him, flashing him a bright smile, realizing he is the one you've been praying for all your life and no one can beat that.
I've come back after months, I know. I'll try to be consistent from now. Thanks for staying by my side when I wasn't there and reading my stories. You guys are awesome 🥺🥺🥺

Hello! So I'm a little nervous about sending this in because I don't generally like using the anon option as I stand behind my opinions, but I also recongize that means I'm opening this up to all your followers, as a jikooker who runs a jikook focused blog myself. So I'm sending this in with respect and just as a "opinions from the other side" type of deal. And I hope that even though everyone who follows you won't agree with me, the respect and courtesy will be returned. Kindness costs nothing!
A few days ago you posted this ask and reposnse about GCF in Toyko. Both the anon sender and yourself mentioned not seeing GCFT as romantic or non plantonic or understanding necessarily why jikookers say what they say about it. You both did so fairly respectfully, which I fully appreciate. I'm not trying to change minds at all. I'm all good on disagreeing about viewpoints here. None of us know anything for sure and everyone bases their own opinions off their own life experiences and biases. We are all only guessing here. Lol just figured I'd try to answer the question over what "we" see in it. So apologies for all the explanations over why I am here, and for the essay in your ask box. I write long ass posts all the time on my own blog and it's just how I work now 😂 You don't have to feel obligated to post or respond to this either if you don't want to.
Tumblr media
GCF in Toyko is not the make it or break it "piece of evidence" for jikookers in thinking that Jimin and Jungkook could be in a romantic relationship. It's just one in the many things that build on top of each other that is their bond that jkkrs see as likely being romantic in nature. Its one of the things that had many jkkrs, including myself, looking back on previous interactions and on future ones with perhaps a more questioning eye. It's also something that I've seen non armys and non jkkrs raise eyebrows over. I introduced my friend to BTS before and they watched Jungkook's GCFs with me (in order, all of them) before she even knew all their names (we were introducing her to the members one by one and JK caught her eye first so we watched his videos and music before the others) and she asked while watching "is the blonde in the video his boyfriend?" And I explained that it was actually Jimin, who was in the same band and as far as the fandom and we all know, no they are just best friends. And she said "well that's some friend then!" And we moved on to the next GCF in Osaka. Or how often i see clips of Jimin from GCFT in armys "pov: you are on a date with jimin" tweets. Lol But it does show that's its not always just the jkkr bias that makes us think the video has some romantic inclinations.
I have... a lot of posts on my own blog that talk about their Toyko Trip and GCFT as well too, but I'm not going to link them or anything because they are definitely written with the assumption that my views and guesses over their relationship is correct and they are boyfriends, which is not what I'm wanting to do here necessarily. But for a lot of jkkrs, the importance placed on the trip comes from the importance placed on it by Jimin and JK themselves. They talked about that trip constantly since it happened, even in interviews in 2020, as well as expressed interest in doing it again. It was how they went through that trip wearing matching fits on their personal time, went sightseeing and went to Disney and had a good time. How JK filmed a video about Toyko, but Jimin ended up being basically the only focus. The intentional choice of the song because he had to pay copyrights for it and the way he matched movements of the video to lyrics on the song, including during the lyrics "love is a road that goes both ways" with a cut scene of them driving down the road and you get flashes of both a rainbow lights ferris wheel and a regular one. Which felt fairly intentionally queer coded, in a video that starred Jimin that Jungkook made.
Tumblr media
Jimin also had no idea that the video would even be made at all. So it gave the idea that the Jimin we were seeing, was the Jimin that Jungkook sees all the time. Goofy, happy, having fun, treated well, etc. All that, paired with the music, paired with how they talk about it, paired with how it was edited, paired with the trip itself, paired with JK surprising Jimin over it all, paired with JK telling us he used inspiration videos from a video editor YouTuber called "making a video for your boyfriend or girlfriend," gives off romance vibes (to me).
Your post also mentioned JK being camera shy during the trip, but I disagree. Being camera shy and preferring to be behind the camera don't have to be one in the same. JK made it into a few shots of the whole video, included starting it off with a shot of his feet on the airplane too. I think it just shows that for Jungkook, the point of the trip and the point of the video wasn't about him, or even about them, but about Jimin. Which also feels romantic to me.
Tumblr media
You guys (you and anon) also mentioned how you can see two friends making the exact same type of video about a trip they took and were excited about. I disagree, but this could just be life experiences bias coming into play for all 3 of us. I think a good example that could show the difference in what I think would be a normal vlog video between a friend trip and a "could be something more" trip would be Jimin's toyko vlog that he shared. I did a post about the differences there too on my blog, but rather than get into ALL of that. I'll just highlight my points about how JMs video showed JK ALOT, so he wasn't camera shy, he just wasn't in his own video. Jimins video highlighted more of their activies done, them being goofy together, paired with fun music and cute transition slides. For me, this doesnt disprove a possible romantic relationship between them either, it just is what you would expect from a video about two best friends who went on a vacation together. JKs video was a totally different vibe all together. In my opinion. So the completely different vibe as well as everything else about the trip all put together made the video seem more than just plantonic.
https://youtu.be/5TbIyRhvIBQ
^ Jimins Toyko Vlog, with English Subtitles included for anyone who wants to see it if they perhaps haven't. And if you weren't in the fandom long, or aren't a Jimin bias, it doesn't get mentioned a lot. Lol plently of jkkrs also don't even know about it for a while! He posted it originally to Twitter in 2 parts, this army just combined them for us for convenience 💜
https://youtu.be/XrTNLkqGrlc
^ GCFT if I'm here linking things, JK always deserves more streams.
Lastly, his following GCFs were mentioned in your post as well and while all the members do feature in them, Jimin always appears to be highlighted in them. In Osaka, JK cuts the song out completely to highlight Jimins laughter 3 times. In Saipan, Jimin has not only the most screen time, but he also he paired Jimin with the same specific lyrics time and time again which were the more romantically inclined lines. In Helsinki, the colors changed from black to white when Jimin came on screen. Jimin is also the only member to appear in every single GCF video from his first to the last one we have so far. Jimin joking about being the model doesn't just come from no where. Lol but no jkkrs should be claiming (at least I'm not) that app GCFs are indicative of a romantic relationship between jikook or JK and any member. And one or more can be considered romantic while others aren't, or however anyone sees them. Not all GCFs are trying to give the exact same message. At least I personally didn't see them that way.
Tumblr media
But again, I'm not here to try and argue really. Or change anyone's mind. I fully recongize how my biases can be influencing my opinions and vice versa for yall and every "shipper" as well. I dont mind if people disagree. I just saw the post and saw the confusion over how/why jkkrs see GCFT specifically in the way that they (we) do and figured I'd offer my perspective as a jkkr who is active in a blogger space. And I think I said all (probably more) that I can say over this topic in one ask. Lol so if you read all of this, thanks for taking the time to read an opinion that differs. Hope you all have a good week!
~ Storm
Hey Storm!
This is really interesting! I'm going to present it mostly without comment and treat it as basically a guest post from a differing perspective.
One thing I just want to clarify about my own feelings on GCFT specifically is that even though I don't really get romantic vibes from it myself, I do get why people see it that way. I get why it might be a big "maybe" moment for Jikookers, and I know that it has definitely piqued the curiosity of non-shippers too, and I understand why. I just don't see it as inherently romantic, or like something that can only be interpreted in a romantic way, and that's why there are plenty of people who come away from it without getting that impression too.  That being said though, I definitely see the argument.
I re-watched all of the GCFs after reading this and I definitely noticed some new-to-me things. It's so fascinating how we can watch the same material and take different interpretations and details away from it. If anyone hasn't watched the GCFs, or hasn't seen them recently but read through this whole post, I'd definitely recommend revisiting them.
Also, I'm sure it goes without saying, but please everyone be respectful. I'm glad that we can talk about differing opinions in this space, that's something that's valuable to me.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective, Storm! You put a lot of work into this, and I really appreciate the clarity and attention to detail.  I hope you're doing well!

I'm looking forward to your reviews on their individual albums/music etc
Okay, I will tell you as long as everyone promises to be nice!
First, I want to be upfront with the fact that I do not have the technical knowledge required to critique their individual singing or songwriting skills in depth, so this is not that kind of review. However, I believe that people should actively engage with art, be it music, painting, or writing, at whatever level of expertise they may have, rather than consume it mindlessly. The following are my personal opinions and observations as a fan since 2015. I will focus mainly on their Chapter Two individual works, but I will also reference their previous solo and group work. And as a friendly reminder, the members of BTS are not above criticism as artists or as people.
"Indigo" by RM
If I had to use one word to describe this album, I would use "growth." More specifically, I would classify the transition from "RM" to "mono." as linear growth, and the transition from "mono." to "Indigo" as exponential growth. This is a project that Namjoon worked on for several years, which is apparent by the way each song is like a chapter of the same overarching story. The diverse genres and moods depict the ups and downs of life really well, and listening to the entire album in one sitting is a cathartic experience for me.
When I first saw the tracklist and noticed how many other artists were featured, I was nervous because a lot of BTS' collaborations feel like forcing a puzzle piece into a spot where it doesn't fit. What I mean by that is, they either cut out a chunk of the original song or insert a blank space and then fill it with a clipping of what sounds like an entirely different song. A substitution rather than a collaboration, if you will. However, that was not the case here. I think Namjoon did an excellent job of blending his own sound, style, and emotion with that of the other artists.
The only thing that I actively disliked on this album is the beat in "Change pt.2" from about 0:49 to 1:00. It's grating on the ear, which might have been intentional given the content of the song, but it isn't pleasant to listen to, and I cringe every time I hear it. As for a favorite, I can't really choose, but I think the objective number of replays would point to "Lonely."
"The Astronaut" by Jin
This one is an outlier because it's only one song, but I will discuss it just the same. I really liked Seokjin's voice in this one. I don't know the official terms, but it's lower and less breathy than usual. To me, that makes his voice sound warmer. Overall, this was a soothing song that left me wanting more when he gets back. I am waiting (im)patiently.
P.S. I know people tend to love or hate Coldplay. I don't listen to them or know anything about them as people, so the fact that this was cowritten by them doesn't really factor into my opinion of the song, if that makes sense.
"D-DAY" by Agust D
The amount of money I spent to see him live in Chicago should tell you how much I liked this album. Similar to what I said about Namjoon above, there's tangible growth from his mixtapes "Agust D" and "D-2" to his studio album "D-DAY." It's to be expected that experience will improve the craft, of course, but I still have to say it.
Yoongi is my favorite composer of BTS, by far. "Interlude: Dawn" and "Snooze" give me goosebumps every time I listen time them. Also, I love it when he uses traditional instruments like the haegeum. There's just something about the emotions he conveys in his tone, lyrics and melody that made this album a nonstop repeat for me.
My complaints are few and small. The autotune gets to be too much in the song "D-Day," and I'm not crazy about "People Pt. 2." Personally, I am not a fan of IU's voice. I have nothing against her, by any means, and I know she can sing, but I prefer women with deep, husky voices. And for the life of me, I can't figure out what her part means. I'm guessing this was a direct translation from Korean that didn't really...well, translate.
"Jack in the Box" by j-hope
When I first watched the MV for "More," I stimmed for joy. I was rocking, flapping, and squealing. I braved Lollapalooza as an autistic person, surrounded by a hundred thousand people in the summer heat, wearing the denim jacket I painted and an N95 mask to hear this man live. Hoseok's personality shone through in the concept, the MVs, the music, and the lyrics. He burst out of the box to show who he is as an artist. Perhaps I am (Hobi-)biased, but I don't have much else to say other than that I love this album, and I'm excited to hear more from him in the future.
"FACE" by Jimin
"Set Me Free Pt. 2" was the first single that was released, and it thoroughly crushed my hopes for the rest of the mini album. Though I liked the melody of the chorus, the 9 repetitions of "set me free-e-e" left a lot to be desired lyrically. I think he was trying to portray the desperation he felt by repeating the phrase, but his voice didn't show a progression in emotion as he continued through the chorus. For comparison, in Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name Of," the last line "fuck you, I won't do what you tell me" is repeated 16 times, but the way it starts as a murmur and builds up to a scream is powerful; it hits you in the chest. "Set Me Free Pt. 2" didn't have that effect. Also, the autotune in the middle when he "raps" is awful. I saw people on here reaching to explain why the autotune wasn't actually that bad, but...it just doesn't sound good. And him saying "fuck all your opps"? Yikes.
The other single "Like Crazy" was much better and more in line with what I was expecting. Rarely do I like any of the excessive remixes they put out, but the deep house one is actually good. I liked the music video, too. But unfortunately, the mud on his hand after all that bathroom imagery was a...shitty decision. Overall, I don't go out of my way to listen to any of the songs but "Like Crazy" and "Letter," which is my favorite.
"Layo(v)er" by V
I was underwhelmed by this mini album. I expected R&B and jazz from him, and I think his voice suits those genres well, but none of the songs had a particularly strong impact on me. I would say I like "Love Me Again" the most, but it doesn't even compare to "Singularity" and "Stigma" for me. I have to be in a specific mood to listen to slow music in general, so the odds were stacked against this album from the beginning.
"Golden" by Jung Kook
This album was the biggest disappointment I have ever felt as a fan. Honestly, I didn't think it could get any worse than "Permission to Dance," but I was wrong. Before I continue, I feel like I need to offer some context on my general opinion of BTS' music from 2020 onward before I get too deep into the weeds. So let me start with that.
A lot of people think BTS peaked before or during the "Wings" era and sold out with the release of "DNA." I am not one of those people. Most of my favorite BTS songs come from the "Love Yourself" and the "Map of the Soul" eras. There are songs that tug on my heartstrings, songs that give me energy, and songs that are inextricably tied to certain memories from college and my first job. This was when I felt like I was changing and growing in a positive way thanks to BTS' message and music.
That changed with Covid-19. I loved "Map of the Soul: 7" and had tickets to see BTS in Chicago, but then the concert was postponed. Later, it was canceled. Half a year into the pandemic, BTS released "Dynamite" as a fun summer song to lift everyone's spirits. It was their first all-English song, which might've had more global appeal due to the number of people who speak English as a first language, second language, or lingua franca. Personally, I don't hate "Dynamite," but I do hate what it led to.
This was their first Billboard #1. It succeeded far beyond anyone's expectations, and I was proud of them for that. I was glad that more people were checking out their music because BTS is one of my main special interests. However, a lot of what followed felt like an attempt to recreate the success of "Dynamite" rather than an effort to grow as artists. Whether that desire for numbers came from the company or from BTS themselves, I'll never know. All I can say is, I'm glad DynaButterPTD did not get a Grammy. Let's continue.
"BE" came next, and if I had to describe it in a word, I would say "homemade." BTS were more involved in this album than any other, including the concept, the album design, the photoshoots, the music video, and the songs. Because of that, the overall vibe was different, and combined with the effects of the pandemic, the album gave me the feeling that the members of BTS were struggling with who they were as a group, as artists, and as people.
This continued into "Butter" and "PTD," two more all-English songs, and various collaborations of the puzzle-piece-that-doesn't-fit variety I mentioned above. It was an identity crisis. I can't think of another way to describe it. Eventually, BTS decided for themselves that they had to take a step back, spend some time alone, and regroup later. I was both sad and relieved to hear the news. Releasing "PROOF" was a good way to look back on what they'd accomplished so far and put an end to Chapter 1.
That brings us to Chapter 2. More specifically, "Golden." Now, I love Jungkook. Spend 5 minutes scrolling through my blog, and that much will be obvious. But this album was not it for me. First, I want to make it clear that the members of BTS can sing in whatever language they so choose. Having said that, I do tend to prefer their songs that are entirely in Korean or are a mixture of Korean and English. Why? Emotion.
BTS' all-English songs tend to be written by other people, and those people tend to be the ones who write the same bland, unoriginal songs for overrated American/Canadian/British pop singers. Although Jungkook sings the English lyrics of this album with excellent pronunciation and technique, it doesn't have the magnitude of emotion in songs that he participated in writing, such as "Your Eyes Tell," which is in Japanese and English.
I don't know a lot about song credits, but I've noticed the following pattern: the more the members' names show up in the credits, the more I like the song. Looking at the credits for Golden? Jungkook's name isn't listed on a single song. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of wonderful singers all around the world can take a song that is given to them and make it their own by contributing their own talent, their own voice. But frankly, Jungkook didn't do that with these songs. I didn't want to say it, but...these are Justin Bieber songs. Especially "Too Sad to Dance," which is nearly indistinguishable from Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself."
On episode 21 of Suchwita, Jungkook said he recorded five songs in a week, which amounted to one song per day in a 3-hour session, give or take. Yoongi said that was a sign of unbelievable growth, and for comparison, Taehyung said it takes him 3 days to record one song. If I remember correctly, Namjoon worked on "Indigo" for 3 years. So, it's really no wonder why this album is the music equivalent of fast fashion.
I've already talked about how much I hated "Seven" (the song and the MV) in other posts, I can't do it again. Jack Harlow's part in "3D" makes me gag. I can't take the lyrics for "Shotglass of Tears" seriously. I mean, "she the life of the party...42 in her body...tell me, am I ever gon' feel again?" Yikes! "Closer" is generic runway music. "Yes or No" is tolerable. The only song I really liked is "Standing Next to You." I'm just disappointed. I don't have anything else to say.

Agust D Tour Thoughts and Analysis
So I went to the Agust d Tour and one of the things that I really loved was the VCRs. They had so much storytelling and really added so much.
This is a Long one so please hit read more under the cut!
Specifically I want to talk I about the three names and how they’re presented in the video.
Tumblr media
Yoongi, Exist in Memory
Suga, Lost in Memory
Agust D, The Chaser
Theres a lot these phrases could mean in relation to the names associated. Firstly, Yoongi, his real birth name, exists in memory. Yoongi (as well as a few other members of bts) has spoken extensively about who they are vs their stage personas. I really think all of these have to do with exactly that concept.
Yoongi could only exist in memory because while he is on stage he is no longer “just min yoongi” he is one of the other names he goes by:
Suga is The second name listed with the phrase “lost in memory” this could be a reference to the fact that while bts is seperated by the hiatus and military service, he can no longer fully identify with this name while on stage, because he is not physically with bts, Suga, his bts stage Name is Lost in Memory currently (this doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t be found however, once bts is fully reunited in 2025) which leaves us with:
Agust D, The Chaser, the Name he goes by on solo work. I think it’s so interesting to abandon the naming conventions of the other two names for this one, “in memory” is dropped entirely for just a moniker, “the chaser”. The moniker makes sense though, in almost every Agust D music video we see a version of suga chasing down and killing another version in a cyclical nature. The old Agust d Must be hunted down by the new Agust D in order to maintain a level of self awareness and balance. Agust D as a persona has often been shown to be yoongi at his most viciously hungry and greedy (for money, for fame, for power) he also is very closely associated with Yoongi’s traumas. I think this persona is very closely tied to the themes of cycles especially as they relate to trauma and how trauma can change you. Agust D’s Scar, as we See in the amygdala mv, is Self inflicted, which lends credence to the idea that Agust D is a representation of how the worst of yoongi’s traumas effected him negatively. How it might’ve changed his view of greed for success and fame. Which is why he has to keep killing the old Agust d to make room for the new one. It’s a struggling balance act to make sure yoongi the person is never overtaken by the things Agust D represents.
In the video shown at the concert Agust D is trying to Hunt down and kill Yoongi and Suga. I think this could be taken as the trauma and cycles of negativity that Agust D represents trying to infect and change Yoongi as a person or his persona as Suga the bts member.
At the end of the concert the last VCR shows Yoongi and Suga burning down the hotel that Agust D is in, presumably killing him. (Also hyyh reference anyone?)
I definitely think this correlates to Yoongi’s statement that the Agust D trilogy is complete and that we might not get music under the Agust D Name for a long time (if ever again).
Yoongi has talked a lot about himself as yoongi the person vs suga the bts member vs Agust d the soloist. And he’s talked about the conflict that comes from having so many different personas and the toll that takes on him.
To me the Agust D Trilogy as a whole is Yoongi rectifying with these three pieces of himself. And using his own music to identify and expose these darker parts of himself as Agust d in an attempt to bring these pieces closer as a single whole instead of completely seperate, as well as trying to become more honest and bare in his music as a way to understand how a part of him became Agust D and the trauma that made him who he is.
Not only do the albums follow this story but the entire layout of the concert does as well.
Firstly the setlist:
The setlist Starts with Haegeum, a song about freedom and retaliation against oppressive systems and each song after peels back these layers of the persona we know as Agust D, he speaks about his early struggles as an artist and in childhood, poverty, hatred experienced from others, into more self reflective songs like People and moonlight, where he investigates his life in comparison to other’s, his creative process etc.
He examines himself as BTS’s Suga in the next section, playing songs like shadow, the cyphers, ddaeng. The persona and feelings he has as a member of the biggest and most successful group in the world.
The second to last section of songs all from his new album explore some of the most deeply personal topics yet, a personal letter to the next generation of musicians in snooze, political ideology in Polar Night. Ending with amygdala and DDAY. The first being an exploration of his trauma and the second a rallying cry to move forward anyways.
The concert ends on The Last, one of his most vulnerable and emotional songs where he goes into detail about his mental health history, Including a possible reference to a suicide attempt.
Everything about the structure and story of the setlist is about peeling away layers, understanding the different pieces of himself to become more whole.
The set design Is another fantastic example of this.
In the beginning of the show, during haegeum, the stage is big and blocky and whole, it stands above the crowd.
Tumblr media
More towards the middle of the concert, as he performs bts songs, The stage has started to peel away, and now looks more like a cross shape
Tumblr media
This next picture is nearing the end, during amygdala only one piece of the stage remains and you can see two other pieces being lifted away.
Tumblr media
This is during The Last, at the very end of the concert. The entirety of the stage has been lifted away revealing all the wires and props and equipment of the underbelly. Yoongi stands at level with the crowd now. Not above as an idol but face to face, as himself. It’s so remarkably powerful I was in tears at it.
Tumblr media
In conclusion of this long long post analyzing the Agust d albums and tour,
I just wanted to say that I am in genuine awe of Yoongi’s emotional storytelling, and his art. The three albums, the detail of the setlist, and even the stage design all come together to express his deeply moving story of learning to understand yourself and your trauma and deciding to move forward towards the future as your whole self, flaws and all. It is so profoundly beautiful and impactful and I can’t thank him enough for choosing to share his journey with us through his music and art.

“I like him as a person”… I wonder if “as a person” was put here by the editor just like RM is always adding something about “what a good friend” lmao
Idk it seems to me at least Jimin was in love or something. The dumpling incident and the way he was with Tae at that time and later… All shy, then tender, then strained a bit… ya can’t imitate that. The only alternative in my mind is that they were told to “play soulmates” narrative by company, which is honestly… a bullshit? They said no to some songs, so they would say so to something like that.
The question is was the feeling reciprocated? Because I don’t get their dynamics now at all: at times I think they look like soft type of brothers with all these stories about fights and jokes (and scenes like when they imitated a kiss while rehearsal of simple and then grimaced and smiled — that’s smth like “haha sooo funny we’d never really kiss hahaha” to me) and rumors about Tae (hard to not fall for that shit), and at times when something extremely soft happens I feel…gaslighted lmao because jeez I wouldn’t do many of the things they’ve done in 2016-2022 to my siblings, because it feels a bit cringe. There are times of this weird tension idk.
What a weirdly beautiful duo. Sry, just a pure reflection here, because I miss vmin blogs soooo much. Borahae!
Let's be honest. Some of the things in the book are changed to suit the readers. There are various people who will read the book so they would do what they can to satisfy every audiences curiosity but at the same time try to tone things down but just enough to keep you wanting more. It's what they have been doing for so long.
But I want to ask? Why do you feel like this? People have what they call a sixth sense but many choose to ignore it. A lot of people feel something's off with Jimin and Taehyung out of everyone else in the group. This weird dynamics you all are just noticing now because they are in their solo era is something I had noticed a long time ago even while they were in the group but unlike a lot of people, I don't ignore my sixth sense.
Now, we haven't seen the members gathered in one place for a long time but no one questions Jimin and Taehyung's bond with other members. Yet, question their bond with each other even when they see them being close. Even when they call each other soulmates? Even when they try to disprove the rumors around them in their own way. It's not like a full on hate against them. It's more like this boundary most of the fandom has created for them. Almost like a silent warning; we know you are soulmates and all but don't go past that. We don't want to know.
So the sixth sense about whatever might be going on about them is shut off. Most people will rather believe that they are enemies than to reason with that thought nagging at the back of their minds that something is off or weird about them.
Jimin and Taehyung both value friendships. Taehyung is known for even keeping contact with his high school friends. Jimin is more private with his friends but we all know the kind of soul he is. How selfless he is for the people he cares about. Unless a deep betrayal occurred between the two of them. Something neither can forgive each other for then such a thing can happen. Even drifting apart shouldn't be considered because Taehyung wouldn't let that happen. Looking at how close he is with Jungkook who people thought he had drifted apart from should be proof to you. Taehyung loves to mantain relationships and trust me the last person he would want to loose connection with is his fellow 95 liner from Bts who he debuted with, lived with, grew up with, had lots of memories with both the good and bad ones. He hasn't drifted apart from others. Out of everyone in his life, it's Jimin he would rather cut off ties with. Jimin!
Jimin likewise who mantains long term friendships with those close to him like Soonyoung, Taemin amongst others. Out of everyone would choose to be distant from Taehyung while still mantaining friendships with others in the group.
Why are things so different with them? What is up with the two of them? Did they date and break up? Did one of them steal the others beloved? What's with all the secrecy?
But it's none of those things because we can still see even though many choose to ignore it that they have a good rapport with each other but they won't behave like the usual friendships or the usual ship just to satisfy our cravings. They won't do vlives or post their personal pictures for our enjoyment even though they know we desperately want that. They won't let us into that world. They will keep that to themselves no matter what people say about them. Especially now when they will be entering the military, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want the attention on them.
People shouldn't bother about what they will be doing now. They should rather be interested in what happens after their military service because that to me is when the real fun begins. We will really know what's going on. For now, believe in them. Even though people don't want to see them as anything other than the friends they are but at least we should acknowledge the bond they subtly try to show and stop belittling every thing they do because they aren't showing off like typical friends do. I have said enough. Have a great day everyone and let's try to focus on our own lives as well.

Help, Jinchwita was so emotional. The vibe was so different from RM or Jimin-chwita. Suga has this deep respect and admiration for Jin, one he shares with Namjoon. Both RM and Suga are really ambitious and very eager to prove themselves; they're worriers who worry a lot about the group and their future, as well as their individual careers. But Jin knows how to live in the moment and go with the flow. RM and Suga have both stated so many times that they admire Jin's life philosophy and have tried to learn from jim. I remember Jin and RM's talk about life in BV 3 was life changing to RM and changed the way he saw Jin. ITS season 1 was life changing to Suga too apparently, for the same reasons. Jin may act flippant and call it being "dumb", but his emotional intelligence is seriously impressive and Suga rightfully called him out that he's too educated to be dumb. I remember that Jin said he used to worry a lot, but when Fire came out he changed his attitude, and now he's like this. I wish he gave himself more credit and didn't see his inability to think that far ahead as a limitation or a flaw. I wonder if it upsets him that he doesn't have the ambition the rest of the team has. Not caring about the future can be sad because it means you don't have anything that drives you, or dreams. I think Jin feels like less than the other members because of that, even if it means he can be happier in the present and feel less regret or worry.
Anyway, it's cute that Jin turned to Suga when he was feeling down and Suga told him to put his feelings into song. That's literally Suga's go-to advice, because that's how Face came about too lmao. But it's funny that, at the time Abyss came out, Jin said it was Bang PD who told him to write a song regardless of how dark it was...
Speaking of Bang PD, the supposed "father" of BTS, it was hilarious that Suga immediately said "my father is my father though" when Jin said sharing the alcohol turned friends into brothers. Suga did not hesitate to reply that BTS were already friends and family, yet Bang PD can't be his dad because he already has one lmao. He has siblings too, but the members can still be his brothers. J-Hope immediately said BTS were already brothers too aww.
The episode made me cry so much! Hearing The Astronaut made me cry, knowing Jin asked for the episode to be released in June made me cry, talking about Jin made me cry, the editing made me cry. I miss him so much. J-Hope's bright laugh felt so good to hear too; it's so comforting, like home. That's when it feels that BTS is BTS, when you have J-Hope smiling, laughing, and hyping everyone up.
Suga and Jin really love Jungkook! Suga mentioned Jungkook like three times, called him annoying lmao (the editors showing a pic of Jungkook being adorable was so funny and cute). Jungkook is really special to Jin. I love Jinkook so much so this episode was great for that reason too. What was most touching for me was when Jin said that, if he had to live with anyone, it wouldn't be his brother, his mom, or even Jungkook, or any other member, but Suga. It's like he was telling Suga they were such perfect roommates that he wouldn't even choose Jungkook over him. So that's how special Suga is to Jin, but most of all that's how special Jungkook is to Jin, because Jin picks Jungkook for everything but not this. And Jungkook was there when Jin cut his hair, along with Suga... These three are really so private because they never share who they hang out with. J-Hope shares so much with us in terms of the members; when he, or even RM and V, hang out with the members, they share pics or videos. But Jin, Suga, Jimin and Jungkook rarely do so you might think they're not hanging out but they are.
I love that so far all the members said they would go to 2025, but Jin said 2050 lmao. He doesn't even care about 3 years, he just wants to know if they'll be living together when they're old lmao. Suga said Jungkook would still be annoying haha, and Jin doesn't want any member to change... I love them so much... This episode was so emotional and touching.
Also, I loved that Jin and Suga accused J-Hope and V of crying in their 2018 MAMA speech, but it cut to a scene of Jungkook and J-Hope being the only ones crying lmao. Like, Jungkook was silently shedding tears the whole time. Before V burst into tears and Jin got more emotional, Jungkook was already yeeting his tears lmao. RM got emotional too, and even the fans' screams sounded a bit pained...
Anyway, I need to recover from this episode. I love Jin. I miss BTS.

I tried to format this with a comma and a capital letter to show where a new line is in these songs/quotes bc tumblr hates formatting!
"Don't you ever, Tame your demons, But always keep them on a leash" - Arsonist's Lullabye, Hozier (maybe vegaspete or beyond evil?)
"And from these rooftops, I'll scream your name, Bravely to the dark" - Tyler Knott Gregson (rooftops always give me patpran vibes but anyone else if good too)
"How much should my longing fall like snow, Before the days of spring return, friend?, Snowflakes fall down, And fall apart little by little, I miss you, I miss you, I miss you" - Spring Day, BTS
Also basically any of Do I Wanna Know by the Arctic Monkeys gives me patpran vibes but idk if this is a basic choice? It could be overused but im not sure but anyway!! "I dreamt about you nearly every night this week, How many secrets can you keep?, 'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow and I play it on repeat, Until I fall asleep, Ever thought of calling when you've had a few? Because I always do, Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new."
Also I'm happy to take literally anything for The Eclipse (I feel like I really dont see many edits of it? But I feel like its difficult to pin down a specific vibe because it was so much grief but it is maybe my favourite right now!) or Between Us/Not Me/Bad Buddy/Vice Versa/Beyond Evil!
hello lizzie ^^ i hope you've been well!
this is for you!
i hope you like what i came up with even when i took some liberties with the prompt. you gave me so many options to choose from, so many good options, but ever since i first got this ask, i was fixated on that hozier line. it just seemed to fit beyond evil so perfectly and i was so excited to make something for that drama bc i never did back when i watched it. thank you so much for it! (and also special love for throwing spring day at me, it made me smile fondly ♥ maybe i'll end up using it when i find something fitting to use it for)
(more blabberings under the cut bc this edit made me think some thoughts!)
first of all, i have to admit that i have almost forgotten everything that happened in beyond evil. it's been over a year since i binged through it and it never stuck with me the same way as, let's say, the devil judge did. but i still found it super interesting and with this prompt, i came to think about the themes in it once more. i came to think about the story, and the world, and the people. most of all, the people.
bc, second of all, i am obsessed with the dynamic of our two main characters. they are like fire and ice, and they struggle to understand each other bc of it. joowon is young, righteous, hopeful, and naive. dongsik is older, has already seen the cruelty of the world, and knows how much it can hurt. but he has not given up, and instead, there is this plan and then –
well. joowon comes and messes it up. kind of. tho he also becomes dongsik's ally, and then comes to see how unfair the world can be, and watching all of this happen hurts dongsik who, until then, has not shied away from sacrifice. he has let the people around him be hurt. he has been selfish in that sense. and then this one person more threatens to tip him over.
so, i had thoughts. and then i somehow tried to put all of them into this edit: the differences between joowon and dongsik, their individual journeys, their joined moments. there's dongsik with his undying fire, the only thing left pushing him through as he loses, and loses, and loses again and again. there's joowon with his one goal: to serve justice. he's willing to try and reach this goal by any means necessary. he almost becomes blind to how impossible reaching it can be.
they both have their demons. dongsik's are vengeful, full of years-old rage. they're simmering somewhere behind his smiles and in his stern eyes and under the tears he so unwillingly sheds. he cannot tame them despite all the time that has passed. he doesn't want to.
and then there's joowon with his newly found demons, the ones that are out of his control, the ones that would like to drive a bullet into his father's chest or smash a golf club into his head. the demons that turn the calm and collected detective han into someone he didn't know he could be. the demons that are born out of his old and new grief.
the caption seemed to put all of this so nicely. it's one of dongsik's lines said to joowon. there's something scary about how far ppl are willing to go out of love and attachment. we're terrifying creatures once someone takes something we care about away from us.
i hope you didn't find my ramblings or the edit itself boring. i personally love the simplicity of it all. i haven't done anything black and white in a long while so this felt refreshing and fun.
thank you once more for your prompt and have a good weekend ♥

Bts are artists so they understand the importance of having fans, as do many other artists do. Without fans, you as an artist are almost irrelevant, because there is no one to support you, lift you up and accompany you on your journey. It might just be my ignorance or the fact that I follow only a handful of artists, but I've never seen anyone love their fans as much as the tannies do. In the past 10 years they wrote countless love songs for us, which were just as comforting as their kind words for us, always protected us in any ways they could, expressed their love for us every chance they got, held our hands when we had bad times and told us we did the same for them. I would like the believe that everything they have ever said were genuine. I know in kpop a lot of things are scripted and staged, but I don't believe you can fake something for 10 years and not grow into it. I might be naive but I will always believe that everything that came from them was honest, and not just words to keep the fans and the support. I know they understand the weight of having such a broad fanbase, because it was partially the reason they could achieve everything they have achieved so far. They changed over the years but their love for us stayed the same and then grew stronger. 1/2
your second ask and my reply are under the cut 💞
2/2 I wish I could understand their struggles when the pandemic hit, sadly I can only sympathise with them. I can't even imagine what they must have felt back then and now during the festa dinner, when they were so afraid of losing the support. They are artists, who need fans to keep going and grow, but I also like to think of them as a friend. Although we can't communicate with them directly, we can't meet them, have coffee with them and chat about the weather, the things they did for us and the things they keep doing for us are always going to be precious to me. I know many artists love their fans, and I truly believe there are some of them out there who love the fans just as much as the tannies love us, but it still feels special and different. It's a parasocial relationship, and yet it feels so much closer than that. They protected us when we needed it, and in return we always protect them as much as we can. Maybe the need to love us strongly comes from the way they were formed and the way they had to quite literally fight their way up to the top. And we were always there with them, supporting them, cheering them on, smiling proudly at them. Maybe it comes from the fact that they were not privileged at all. Or maybe their love formed this way because they are genuinely good humans.
Hi! First of all I'm sorry I took a while to reply to this. Just wanted to sit down with proper time on my hands to answer and the last few days were a little hectic. And I agree with everything that you said. I have followed and gotten into a lot of fandoms before this lol be it actors or musicians or sportspersons but I have truly never seen the kind of love and appreciation that bangtan have for us in any other fandom before. A lot of the times this love is taken for granted too by some fans, but still their love for us as a whole remains unchanged :( They've been there for us through their music and through their words for so long. Like idk it might sound cheesy but the way people say that you find them when you need them the most, it's very true because that's what happened with me. And they've just been a constant source of happiness and comfort for me ever since. Not just as musicians but also as people. Yes, I don't think they were not genuine, especially when they spoke about their feelings regarding themselves and their personalities. Ofcourse we only see maybe only 10% of who they actually are as people (and rightfully), but I would like to believe that most of it is genuine. Including their love for their fans. Idk if it's with other artists too but the genuine love I've seen in bangtan's eyes for the fans when they're on stage 😭😭😭 makes me so soft every time. And you're right we can only sympathize with what they went through during the pandemic. Different people had different kinds of struggles during the pandemic, ofcourse, and that cannot be compared. But that doesn't make their difficulties any less painful. To not be able to do what you live for, for so so long, i can't even imagine what that must've been like. They said they were scared that we're gonna stop loving them because of this, that there were not gonna be any armys anymore, and that just broke my heart 😭 What we have with them is a parasocial relationship yes, but who says that this means that the love isn't genuine right? there are fans who have grown up with the boys (the ones who have been with them since the start), made mistakes and rectified them, became better people. So in a way it does feel like they are our friends, right? 🥺 I think their love for the fans has formed this way because of how fiercely fans have supported them through thick and thin and also because they are good people. They always keep talking about how they're guilty that there not doing enough in return but i just want to sit them down and tell them that whatever they are doing is more than enough and that we're so so so happy to be on this journey with them 🥺

You know what I don't understand in all of this is the contradictory behaviour. Let me put it simply.
Why does Taehyung need this kind of PR to drive engagement when he is successful without this kind of buzz? Before you say why not? There is a difference between Kpop and western artists. For short term this may work wonders but the way people look at BTS is so different than how they look upto other artists. Is it worth it to lose your credibility/trust for short term engagement? Has other members not successful enough without all this?
Second, assuming he is a queer and wants to hide rumour about that. So staging a straight relationship cool. Then why does he drop so many hints about LGBTQ comm. I am not saying he has no right to share and show how he feels but I am wondering if he and company thinks his gay rumours are getting out of hand (though I didn't hear anything) then it's better to tone down then to take this kind of step.
Someone said this way he and Jungkook would be able to roam freely. I sometimes feels would it be alright to humiliate people who supported them from so many years because you believe it or not taekookers are going to get bashed more after these rumours. I mean it's okay people have choice to leave or to stay but there would come a time when taekook might need support to come out if ever. That would be a huge hurdle if this kind of nonsense prevails.
I don't know if I am able to explain my issue. I am attached to BTS not because they are great singer and stuff. Objectively, there are artists who sing better. Beyond artistry BTS has connection with their fans because they resonate with people. There is that one particular quality every member has that people connect with. In case of Taehyung, at least for me, is his doing what comes from heart and his principles. This pr trust is against everything which connects me from him. I still love his songs, i'll still hype him but I am not sure if I'll ever be able to connect with him.
It's okay when he is solo but with BTS as a group this might make him a black sheep. No being in a relationship is not the problem. Problem is how this situation is being handled. It's like if it's real relationship damn he really let people to drag his gf and if it's not well he had to resort to such activities.
This maybe for Western market but we shouldn't forget he still resides in Korea. Korean people and armys are going to be priority when it comes to consensus. This norm in west may not percolate so well in Korea.
Hi anon!
I'm going to cut your ask in pieces a bit to respond properly.
This era is new territory isn't it. The way I see it, other members don't have a highly rumored in-band-relationship, accept for Jimin... but he was very much paired with Yoongi and J-hope. I know people hate to read this, but that too was part of promo. Not that their bonds aren't real, but it was also used for promo. I suspect by the time Tae and Jk's album release it is possible that Jimin will either have left for enlistment, or he'll be about to, and therefore he will not be there to do much promo support for Tae and Jk. Which leaves Tae and Jk, but we all know what speculations will arise from that. Having a short term solution (which I do thing is what we are looking at from now on) like Taennie, will ensure less queer speculations, but will also put Tae in the spotlight.
I know Tae is already huge and I can understand why people think he doesn't need the promo. But what if his wish is to get even bigger? What if it's his wish to be big everywhere? Is that too gready? No, he's an artist.. he wants to share his art widely. There is an apparent difference between Kpop and western artists, but isn't it possible that the gap is tightening? That Kpop (especially BTS and BlackPink) are crossing the line? Haven't they already done things that aren't traditionally Kpop? Is it a bad thing? Breaking traditions or perceived boundaries is always at first looked upon as 'weird', "unlikely', 'bad', 'untrustworthy', but without breaking those boundaries society would stand still and that is never a good thing. Tae doing something new is a credit to him wanting to break through some stuff he feels is outdated. This goes for if Taennie is true as well as if it's not true.
Why would Tae lose credibility you think? I think most, especially in SK, will believe Taennie is real. So they won't think he's lying. Those who think it's fake probably understand why things have taken this turn. Pr-stunts are meant to look believable, so even though I speak of it the way I do, that is not how media and the greater public will speak of it.
It will be short lived, because Tae will leave for enlistment next year probably. When he returns this will all have blown over.
Who is humiliating who? I don't feel humiliated. It is not Tae's intention to make us believe in Taekook. I do because I pick up on subtleties, not because they are being so obvious about it. The way I see it is Tae is making decisions for himself, and by extension Jk maybe. I trust him. I feel things will settle down soon and people will get to understand more of what's happening. This new turn is only fresh right now, so we aren't exactlly capable of seeing how things are going to be fandomwise. People who say they are leaving might be be back again next week.
Your feelings about this are your own, and you have a right to them. I can understand why Tae doing something new might make you feel disconnected. But keep in mind, that no matter what... an artist/person always has the right to do what he feels best. Even if that goes against what his fandom expect of him. It is just as much your right to leave him because you no longer feel connected.
It's okay when he is solo but with BTS as a group this might make him a black sheep. No being in a relationship is not the problem. Problem is how this situation is being handled. It's like if it's real relationship damn he really let people to drag his gf and if it's not well he had to resort to such activities.
I agree that the situation is being handled poorly. I strongly believe that if Taennie were real he wouldn't have let people drag Jennie through the mud and back. Tae speaks up about things. Imo he would've said something.
This maybe for Western market but we shouldn't forget he still resides in Korea. Korean people and armys are going to be priority when it comes to consensus. This norm in west may not percolate so well in Korea.
The whole issue is, that Tae possibly being queer does already not percolate well in Korea. It's a very difficult thing for anyone to be queer in Korea, let alone what it means to be a queer Idol. I think what people need to realise (aside from this being about Tae) is that when someone is queer but also closeted, that person would still have the urge to show who they are, what they like, what they are proud of. This absolutely goes for artists, who in general are prone to share themselves through their art. Bein queer in South Korea means you cannot do that. So if this Taennie situation is not only for promo, but also a cover for him being possibly queer... it will allow him some freedoms. And can we really expect someone to adhere to their closet jst because it doesn't percolate well in Korea?
It is complicated matter. And we could probably write a book about it... I think I might be half way by now even ;)

No I'm not your little slave No I don't twist and turn that way Only got bad things to say You're always asking what is up with me Could never tell you what happened The day I turned seventeen
he really grew up in an awful environment and went through hell and refuses to talk about it or be put in a position like that again. he hates the family that failed him but he turned the tables. he's not happy now, but he is free from so many things that have weighed him down.
mokuba stand by me
If the sky that we look upon Should tumble and fall Or the mountains should crumble to the sea I won't cry, I won't cry No I won't shed a tear Just as long as you stand Stand by me
he doesn't feel scared so long as he knows seto is near. he knows no matter what seto will protect and save him, that he will always be okay so long as seto exists. but he's also loyal, unwaveringly so. he'll do anything for his friends.

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure 'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major I got my boys with me, at least those in favor And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later
that part in particular just has strong vibes for him but in the context of him it feels like him remembering what was and the life that should have been for him-- a full, happy life that was fulfilling. but it was cut painfully short.
yami bakura you're gonna go far kid by the offspring
And turning all against the one is an art that's hard to teach Another clever word sets off an unsuspecting herd And as you step back into line, a mob jumps to their feet Now dance, fucker, dance, man, he never had a chance And no one even knew it was really only you And now you steal away Take him out today Nice work you did You're gonna go far, kid
just has all the vibes of a bastard that can manipulate to get what he wants and pretty good vibes for my bastard. he knows what he wants and he knows what to say and who to play to get it.
duke butter by bts
Smooth like butter, pull you in like no other Don't need no Usher to remind me you got it bad Ain't no other that can sweep you up like a robber Straight up, I (got ya) Making you fall like that
the whole song is playful and has such a fun vibe. it's got a fun charisma and confidence to it, it's just infectiously fun. it's absolutely his vibe.

All or none.
PROOF of why we are here today
All kinds of opinions floating around out there, these might be but are not necessarily my views:
…what if they follow this up before the end of the year with a full album of new songs or what if they release a slew of individual mixtapes?
2013:
Tumblr media
What if their new chapter means they will be without Jin? What if the new chapter means there’s just six of them? what if the new chapter means we are going to begin a period of time of various members absent due to military enlistment? (I don’t think that idea is a real possibility). What if the new chapter means most all of the songs will be subunits and not all seven? (I like that idea.)
2014:
Tumblr media
This is false: There is a lot of noise about a farewell tour and disbanding.  They wouldn’t keep repeating “I want to be with BTS/I want to marry BTS/I want to be together forever” that several of them have said repeatedly so I’m not worried about them disbanding. That will NOT happen. Just yesterday HYBE said this is just the beginning of BTS so they already have a vision of the future.
So all that was just a bunch of what if’s that people are talking about out there...
2015:
Tumblr media
The thing we really are waiting for is to hear about military enlistment which ranges from none to four weeks to two years and who knows what in between. There will either be a global collective sigh of relief or a huge cry of anguish when we get the military news. We all need to gird our loins, that’s for sure.
2016:
Tumblr media
Here are my honest thoughts...
I’m very excited about an anthology. It was not what I was expecting but does make sense…an anthology to reflect on how we got here. Now let’s take it to the next level, I like that. I hope we get more insight as to what was going on with them while they journeyed through the past nine years. I love that stuff. I hope we get remixes of previous songs...PTD remix of Fire, yes please.
2017:
Tumblr media
And it is sort of understandable that they would put this out first instead of a full album since the future is somewhat clouded because of the unknown military issue. And then when that issue has been resolved, they can plan accordingly and release an entire album of new music knowing the time they would have to fully support that new work. I do think they have different contingency plans in place if it goes either way, I think they are just waiting to get the final word and go forward with whichever plan.
2018:
Tumblr media
As far as an upcoming tour I would be thrilled if they performed individual stages.
And maybe none of this will happen maybe the new chapter just means they will be writing and producing everything themselves. Or everything will be collabs. Probably not, but for sure some collabs...Snoop Dogg is in the house already, is that one of the three new songs?
2019:
Tumblr media
Like Joon said, BTS is not just the seven of them anymore, there’s a lot of moving parts these days. BTS is a huge machine so I would think that they had a lot of discussion already on what could happen and what they should do because if they were to stop working for a period of time it would affect many people, many employees, a huge team, not just the seven of them and not just us fans so I am pretty sure there is a lot already planned and I would not be surprised if they already know what their obligation will be should they not be exempted.
2020:
Tumblr media
I would also bet that the length of time that they would have to serve has been severely cut down due to the things that they’ve already accomplished. I don’t know that it would be as low as four weeks but it could be. Like everybody else I suppose we are just going to sit here and wait and see and then support them no matter what.
2021:
Tumblr media
P.S. I want Jimin’s Promise included on this album please.
2022:
Tumblr media
I hope you enjoyed my retrospective of nine years of Jimin. Ok, it was ten in Korean age.

Lonely Hearts Club ♡ BTS OT7
Tumblr media
Pairing: female reader x OT7
Warning: smut. polyamory. kinda voyeurism (? like- how else are you supposed to make an 8 people intercourse work.
A/N: this has a very poor representation of polyamory ok. It actually contains everything that is not how polyamory works, but it’s in favour of the theme. This is my last work for the Electra Heart Series
Summary: January to December, do you wanna be a member? In this Lonely Hearts Club, do you want to be with somebody like us?
Genre: smut
Word Count: 4.5k
“Where are you going Kookie?” Taehyung called from his spot cuddled on Jimin’s side without really tearing his eyes from the screen as they both watched some movie on the couch, a usual Friday night.
Jungkook paused for half a second as he made sure he had everything in his pocket before heading to the door “Out”
“Out where?” Jungkook groaned loudly at the questioning, as if it were nothing common within their relationship, determined to extend the silence in the room long enough to be comfortably dismissed from the conversation.
“Out with that girl he has yet to come clean to” Yoongi mentioned as he made his way to the living room, bag of chips in hand and stuffing a few inside his mouth as he did “which by the way, I’ve told him a thousand times before, it’s not decent to keep on leading her on”
“I’m not” the youngest murmured under his breath, which earned him a pointed look from Yoongi, followed by the TV pausing and both of the other men to turn their attention to him “I’m not leading her on”
A hand was placed on his right shoulder from behind, making him startle, wide doe eyes in full display as Seokjin voiced his input in the situation “You’re going out with a girl that we all know likes you while being a relationship, Jungkookie” Seokjin made the most overdramatic pout “I’d say that’s leading her on, plus, placing us second”
Jungkook let out a heavy sigh, already knowing he was about to be very late to the date “You guys all said you were okay with me dating out of the circle”
“You know we’re messing with you, come on, you’ll be late for your date” he’d have to thank Namjoon for always coming to the rescue when Seokjin was being a little bit too much.
If someone was to tell him he would end up in a polyamorous relationship he would have laughed in their face. If someone was to tell him that he would end up in a polyamorous relationship with the six older men he was forced to share his college unit with, he would have crumbled apart right there and then, it was no secret whatsoever that he had the biggest crush on the six of them the moment he first saw them, call it gay panicking or whatever.
And you see, things were going smooth, at least as smooth as they could be when 7 people are dating each other, minus the stares when they went out in public, the questioning of their not so close friends and the constant battle royale when it came down to sleeping arrangements, it was smooth. Until you came along. Sure, after eight months of him joining the polycule, and people unable to think outside their monogamous mindset, a fair number of guys and girls had approached him, which was always meant to go in either of two possible ways:
First, and best, case scenario, they were only interested in a fling, a one night stand that ultimately turns into a somewhat friendly distanced greeting when on campus, it was a thing between the seven men after all, being able to casually date outside the circle and understanding that the strongest emotional bond was with their boyfriends at home, although… Jungkook was the one doing it most often, Jimin following him casually in indulging in the pleasure of casual sex from time to time.
Second, and the hardest scenario due to him having the softest heart (if having Hoseok cutting ties with his potential partners in more than one occasion is anything to go by) is when after the first scenario, people keep trying to get in touch with him, not that there’s anything wrong with it but he wasn’t interested, plus, when he went as far as explaining the whole polyamory situation, people would dismiss it as an non-existent relationship or worse yet, there was a guy that went as far as telling him that all he needed was to be ‘dicked down good enough’ for him to stop being polyamorous; Yoongi had gone and had a friendly talk with the dude when Jungkook went home that night crying (he might have sent the guy to ER but there’s really no way to know)
So really, third case scenario was way out of control for him, said scenario being you. Never asking anything too invasive, hooked up a few times and even made him breakfast one of them which ended up with Jungkook bolting right out of your apartment, thinking that was it and he’d never see you again but boy was he wrong, you had texted him after to make sure he was okay, had the most amazing round of make up sex (could it even be called that when you two didn’t even fight? and it was all just him being a moron?).
So here’s the thing, maybe his heart started picking up when he saw you, maybe he started feeling butterflies when you two made out on your couch, maybe the blurred line between being a casual hook up and falling for you had become no line at all, and soon enough his hyungs started pestering him that he shouldn’t play with your feelings. God how much easier would it be if you were a student at his campus, with the amount of talk about the ‘7 best looking guys being in a polyamorous relationship’ really would have done the trick, so that he could stop the inner fear of losing you that came with owning it up and telling you he was indeed not just bisexual, but in an eight month relationship with 6 guys.
So far, Namjoon had had the most serious talk with him ever since he was invited to join the relationship, then came Yoongi constantly bickering with him as a passive agressive way to get him to come clean, Hoseok aggressively cuddling him while whispering borderline nasty and teasing things to him while Seokjin, Taehyung and Jimin had made it their job to try and gatekeep him from you before any date with the theatrics of non existent jealousy. Deep down he knew it was wrong, so wrong of him to keep such a vital piece of information from you, then again, he couldn’t bear the feeling of seeing you being disgusted for his love choices, polyamory was one hell of a misunderstood topic, often overseen as being greedy and unable to choose. Which was a blatant lie. He had made a choice eight months ago, and it pained him to even think that if the time came, he would have to stand by it. He would choose the six of them all over again. No doubts in his mind he would choose them over you if it came to be like that.
What if he had spent a week bawling his eyes out at night after a date with you and quality time at home, people should mind their own business. And the men he loved the most in the world were proving to be deserving of his love yet again. He had cried one last time after thinking just how much they were meaning to go out of their way to keep Jungkook happy. They had kept him in their best interests when they decided that maybe, prior further consideration and a serious talk involving you and Jungkook, maybe an eight addition wouldn’t be so bad.
“God I can’t believe we are not only condoning this behaviour but now we are endorsing it” Seokjin mentioned in one of his many overdramatic tones as he and Namjoon placed some delicious looking dishes out in their small backyard where they had all dressed up the place when little Jungkookie announced he was bringing you over.
Namjoon was quick to attempt to calm his boyfriend down while placing a small kiss on his lips “You’re overthinking”
“Oh, I’m overthinking? How about Mr Jeon Jungkook who apparently can neither keep it in his pants nor grow a pair and tell someone that they are polyamorous, huh?” Namjoon really had to try his hardest not to burst out laughing at the way Seokjin’s words seemed to blend in together as they came out of his mouth in a flow that resembled a rap song “Don’t you try and gaslight me, Namjoon, I’ll have you know, psychology was my major before it was yours”
“Doctor Kim has a beautiful ring to it”
Seokjin did not stop a whole minute to stop placing everything out on the table as he kept on bickering with the younger “Don’t try to woo me Kim Namjoon, I know you only like the ring of it because we share the last name”
Jimin walked out the exact moment they were blasting fiery heart eyes at each other, nothing out of the ordinary in their dynamic, “Seokjin-hyung, Namjoon-hyung, I think she’s here” the youngest of the three lend a hand for the whole table to be set in record time, already hearing an additional female voice that didn’t use to be there before coming from inside “I don’t think Taehyung’s on board with all...this”
“What do you mean he’s not on board, we talked about it before!” if there was the slightest bit of panic in Namjoon’s eyes, he was one hell of an actor to have it covered up as soon as he sensed Seokjin stiff on his side and the whole room began to feel stuffy even when being outside.
“Tae says he’s not coming down for dinner” Hoseok announced as he popped his head outside “Y/N is talking in the living room with Kookie and Yoongi, she seems nice” before disappearing inside the house.
“I fucking told you all of this would come to bite us in the ass Joonie, eight people is one person too many” may Seokjin’s inability to read eye expressions be damned when Namjoon and Jimin tried to get him to keep his voice down before any more damage was caused.
A mop of black hair popped up from inside just the way Hoseok had done before, startling the three men outside when Jungkook spoke “Hey, is everything alright?”
“Yeah, totally” Jimin tried to fake a smile which ended up being the fakest smile he had ever put on his face, making the youngest squint his eyes at the three of them in a questioning manner, a few seconds away from dismissing it, Seokjin broke
“Taehyung is not taking part”
“What do you mean Taehyung is not taking part?” Jungkook’s eyes widened almost comically but anyone could see the anxiety and panic rising in them, Namjoon ever the peacemaker in the relationship intervening
“Tae says he’s backing down, but I’ll have a talk with him and-”
“I’ll do it” Jungkook shook his head as he took off back inside to the opposite side from which he came from; even with the whole uncertainty of the situation, it was sure not to head the right way it should have.
“That sounds lovely, I can just imagine” you said as Namjoon, who had just introduced himself, finished a random story about all seven of them “So.. you all live here together then?”
“Oh yeah, inseparable bond and what not” Seokjin, the oldest of the seven smiled somewhat uncomfortably at you, avoiding any type of direct contact. At first it really seemed to have taken the right turn, chatting with Yoongi and Hoseok after Jungkook left to see if anything else was needed before dinner, but then things started to shift, an unknown but uncomfortable silence filling the room every now and then, the way Jimin couldn’t stop fidgeting in his seat and Seokjin made little to no effort to not show just how uncomfortable he was. Jungkook had mentioned earlier that his housemates could be somewhat weird, without mentioning exactly how, but from the looks of it, it had something to do with dating within themselves.
“Hey, do you mind if I use your restroom?”
“Ah sure, upstairs, first door to the left” Yoongi answered with a tight lip smile on his face, everyone’s eyes discreetly following you in silence until your figure couldn’t be seen, probably out of earshot as murmurs took over the living room.
Not that you really needed to use the toilet but it would be nice to splash some cold water in your face if you wanted to even try and survive the rest of the night, but as you reached the end of the stairs, a room across what seemed to be the bathroom caught your attention, snuffling noises coming from the inside, and you really should stick to your own business, but how much weirder could the night go? apparently, exponentially weirder.
You reached the door that was conveniently slightly open, allowing you to take a peek inside, a guy sitting beside Jungkook  on the bed as he rubbed circles in the small of his back at the same time as he whispered things to his ear and you felt a pang in your chest, not really believing the whole sexual tension inside the room, perhaps your mind playing with you; up until the guy clearly nibbled Jungkook’s ear, a breathy moan escaping from his lips, your brain shortcircuiting between not understanding what was going on and finding it extremely hot.
“Tae no, you know I’m going out with Y/N” Jungkook said as the other guy moved around, seemingly placing a hand to his crotch in a playful manner, as far as the smirk in his face but obstruction of bodies allowed you to see from the door.
The guy’s eyes quickly turned to Jungkook in the biggest puppy stare you had ever seen, low voice above a whisper “Having someone around never stopped you before”
“Please”
A heavier moan escaped from Jungkook’s mouth, hands immediately locking the guy around him as he straddled his hips on the bed “Do you not love us anymore?”
Whether it was whatever that was going on inside between the two of them, or the mention of love, that made you forget your compromising position, getting the feeling that you should stop watching and panicky closed the door, making your presence known, the world may never know, but there were thousands of thoughts running in your mind. Sure, Jungkook had never put a label on your relationship, and from time to time you had believed that perhaps there was something beautiful there, now coming to think of it, maybe his heart had always been occupied, as all those friends of yours that knew him from somewhere had once said to you, how it was the weirdest thing out there watching 7 great looking guys hanging out as if they were on a date, the unusual way they carried around each other. Not that it was bad, but i crushed your heart to know that you would never fit in, as much as you kicked it off with Jungkook and the sex was amazing, the dynamic between them seemed to put you as just a plaything for the youngest of them all.
“Y/N? Jungkookie wants to have a talk with you” you didn’t even noticed the shift of your surrounding, knowing Jungkook, how he most probably bolted right out of the room when they heard the door close forcefully, too absorbed in your thoughts, still too absorbed in your thoughts as Hoseok led you back down, sitting you down a few feet away from where Jungkook was seated, the TV playing a random programme in the back “You two do your stuff, we’ll be outside, feel free to join, okay?”
The TV Show echoed in the dark, it seemed like it had been hours since you joined Jungkook in his living room, wanting nothing more than cross the door and never see him again, but he was a great kid, you knew just how much he would blame himself over what were your insecurities and inability to speak up on the matter, on never questioning what game you two were playing, sleeping around, going on dates but not getting involved. Until he was the first one to speak up.
“I am in a polyamorous relationship, Y/N” he heaved a sigh, as if the world was lifting from his shoulders “Have been for the last eight months”
Your heart sped up, the words unable to leave your lips, all tangled up on your brain “You should have told me before” you turned your face to where he was at the same time as he did the same “I would have understood”
“I don’t want to leave you”
“I know” which, you did know, time and time again he had made it clear that there was so much more to your relationship, although Jungkook wouldn’t express it out loud “I would love to have you… if there’s a way”
Jungkook’s doe eyes seemed to shine brighter at your words, although you could see tears forming in them “I don’t understand why would you want to be with someone like me”
“Jeon Jungkook”  you scooted yourself to be closer to him, placing a delicate hand on his shoulder “Some people are so full of love they can give a way to a lot of people, I understand that” his eyes lighted up at your words, the tiniest bit of hope in them
A hand was placed on your shoulder, softly grabbing the exposed skin, making you turn your head to see Hoseok, shadows playing on his face as he smirked down at you “Plus, love will never be forever, might as well have seven plans ahead, right Y/N?”
You could feel a lump in your throat at that, images of what you had witnessed inside the bedroom with Jungkook and his friend still fresh in your mind, clearing your throat you hesitated “Uhm.. I really don’t know how to feel about all this Hoseok” but as soon as the words left your mouth you could see the rest of the boys joining the living room, as if you were some kind of prey you were after, the only source of light coming from the fairy lights in the backyard, illuminating them as they approached, hiding their true intentions in their eyes at the same time as their faces became darker, heart thumping inside your ribcage
“Oh come on, Y/N I saw you looking at Jungkookie and I outside our bedroom” Taehyung mentioned, which made you flush, fortunately going unnoticed by the lack of light, although he chuckled as he once again straddled Jungkook inches beside you, an all-too familiar image of the both of them as he grinded hard down on Jungkook’s crotch, earning him a groan from the youngest  “Seemed to me you were enjoying it a bit too much”
A firm hand underneath your chin turned you to face upwards by the slightest, a face that took you seconds to recognise as Yoongi’s too close to yours, grazing his lips with yours before he tutted and added a “Good girls are meant to share their toys Y/N” for good measure.
“Jungkookie here practically gave you up before asking you to join us” Jimin added as he took a sit beside you, body clinging to Yoongi who was still too close to you
“I just-” you turned your face to Jungkook, who was currently busy with his mouth all over Taehyung and Hoseok, both on each side of him as they seemed to get an equal amount of attention from the youngest, your lower abdomen firing up at the image and the prospect of you taking part in the dynamic “I guess it doesn’t really sound so bad”
“Even Seokjin is willing to give you a taste” spoke Namjoon as he walked into the area with Seokjin just inches behind him, nodding his head when you locked eyes with the eldest “But I bet you’ll be Yoongi-hyung’s favourite”
“It’s your turn to call the shots, Y/N”
Instead of a response, you pull on Jimin’s shirt until he leans onto you, capturing you lips in his in a kiss that seems to last just seconds before he is placing you on top of him, allowing Yoongi to take you previous spot, caressing you side so when you lean back to catch a breath, his mouth is on yours stealing your breath away; out of the corner of your eye you watch as Hoseok has his hand inside Jungkook’s pants “Sharing is caring, Yoongi” you remind him as he tries to have a second go, Jimin’s laughter underneath you hitting the right places as he frictions his front side up to you, earning a soft moan from your lips, which only turns to a second one when you feel two wet mouths on each side of your jaw, gently nibbling on the skin before they stopped to kiss right in front of you, tongues catching, groans escaping from each of Seokjin and Namjoon throat before they turned to look at you and retrieved to their original spot to entertain themselves.
“As much as I’d love to take her, I think it’s best if we let Jungkook welcome her into our dynamic” a soft laugh falls from Jimin’s lips as you quietly gasp when he places you on the couch, an awaiting Jungkook on your side, the blond man taking his turn with Yoongi a few inches away.
Jungkook’s eyes seem dazed, and he quickly finds your mouth, just the way he did all those times before, except that now it was somewhat different from them, in a room full of people, his boyfriends, yours soon to be; as he absentmindedly tongues your bottom lip to deepen the kiss, a single hand slides underneath the fabric of your shirt as the other grips around your thigh, slowly working its way to where you could already feel your panties dampening. Fingers dancing familiarly over your nipples, “God I don’t know what I’d have done if you said no to this”, you barely register his words so you just nod in agreement, desperately wanting him to touch you where you needed the most. Warm fingers find your folds, stroking them slowly, squelching sounds that somehow don't seem to phase the way the rest of the group keeps on having their tongues deep down on someone elses throat, changing partners everytime you look up. The tips of his fingers find your entrance, slowly working a pace in and out, pairing it with wet kissed to your exposed neck as you try and hold on to his shirt for dear life “You’re so wet already”
His fingers pick up speed, barely curling into that soft spot inside you. Hips lifting slightly as your head lulls back against his shoulder, peaking both Jimin and Yoongi’s interest from beside you, a clear interest in the action if the way their pants seem to grow tighter by the second “Hey baby, is Jungkookie making you feel good?” voice raspy, dark, but soft lips on your own as the youngest kept his pace with his fingers, stretching you open on the couch.
“She sounds so sweet I can’t wait to taste her” Yoongi adds as his hand reaches out inside Jimin’s pants, starting to stroke his member to life. And that’s when you see it. Namjoon and Seokjin, ever so reserved, in their own little world, sitting across from all the action, hands on each other’s bulge, not daring to look away from you. And it somehow stirs you in all the right places, mind set already on giving them the best show ever.
Hands cup your breasts from behind you, softly massaging them, feather like kisses on the back of your neck as your shirt is lifted, bra forgotten and your tits are free for everyone in the room to watch and enjoy, a voice behind you, owner of the hands pinching your nipples whispering in your ear “I’m willing to forgive you interrupting quality time with Kookie”
You feel a pinching in your clit joining Jungkook’s fingers pistoning into you, making you reach your orgasm in record time in a broken mess of calling out Jungkook’s name. Hoseok’s instantly reaching for the waistband of your panties to pull them down “Well I’d say, dinner’s served,Yoongi-hyung” before said man is  leaning forward, Yoongi’s hands exchanging Jimin’s cock for your knees – holding your legs open. Yoongi’s tongue takes a bold lick over your slit before he’s diving in, lips attaching to your clit as the tip of his tongue flicks against it. Hoseok’s chin is rested on your shoulder, ocassionaly opening up your outer lips to allow the elder a deeper access to your cunt,  watching Yoongi’s  tongue fuck into you. You could feel Taehyung’s thick length pressed into your lower back, the slow lift of his hips dragging it against you. Soft groans from the friction falling from his lips, mixing with the husky moans that echo from around the room as everyone watched Yoongi intently. Your eyes find Seokjin and Namjoon across the room, both of whom have since pulled their cocks from behind their pants, glistening tips on full display as their large hands stroke over the base of each other, their  hips moving to match the movement of their hands.
The tongue between your legs moves swiftly, pushing past your folds and slipping into your entrance, lapping up the juices from your past orgasm as Hoseok leans down to share a wet kiss with him, then Jungkook, the three of them tasting you on their tongues. As Yoongi returns to his spot between your legs, he moans against your core like the taste of you is the most delicious thing to ever hit his tongue, the sound sending vibrations through your body that has your cunt tingling, not far from your next release. “Aah- Yoongi” you gasp, reaching down to tangle your fingers in his hair, pushing his face further between your legs.
“You gonna cum all over my tongue, huh?” his movements intensify, nose pressed against your clit, rubbing it precisely as it makes you fall apart in a rush of desperate pleas before he removes himself from his position, chin covered in your juices to which you can’t help but moan at the sight of as he licks his lips in delight. His lips capture yours once he’s on your eye level,  hand set on the back of your head to keep you still, mouth instantly flooded with your taste, pulling away with fiery eyes and a smirk. “Joon was right, you’re gonna be my favourite”
