WAIT I LIED. sirens are a subspecies of angels. people hear of them & their aggression & assume that they're demons. that something of holy nature cannot be so cruel. they are wrong.

just as vampires are a subspecies of demon with addictions to blood, sirens are angels that have an unnaturally strong chorus. their voices are powerful enough to override the thoughts of mortals and even other celestials.

I actually think it’s important that dostoyevsky stays dead even though he had a death that he very easily could have escaped with the help of golgols ability. bc golgol WILL let him die. I think this is the same as chuuya but chuuya has to do his job (keep dazai alive) so he does it .

bc then when the situation does actually present itself that fyodor will die UNLESS golgol intervenes, it’s dizzyingly easy to do nothing and regret it later on. which is a lot different than shooting someone directly in the head. which coincidentally is also something chuuya can and would do for fun to dazai.
