I’m working with kids full time now. I have come to two conclusions: people don’t know how to parent, at all, especially without screens, and also that this is the most medicated generation that I’ve ever seen.

I've already informed the two people who are commissioning me currently but a general post as well I ran out of my hand meds as of last night so for the next couple of days while my refill gets mailed, I'm only doing limited work and nothing that requires me to draw to avoid making the pain skyrocket before it gets here

i hate having a job interview that i thought went quite well and then i'm regretfully informed that i have not been selected for the position 😭

#i hate job hunting while unemployed it makes me feel like absolute shit #but at least im working on my mental health. i saw a psychiatrist and was open and honest with her and it was really validating #we are working on moving me over to different meds to treat my depression so im hopeful #last year when i was going through this same thing i remember thinking that i wanted to want to get better. but i just didnt have it in me #and now i do. i want to get better (cue i wanna get better by bleachers!). and im gonna do it! #mumbles

i really like my new style, but a part of my brain is telling me it doesn't really count as a style because I'm not actually drawing correctly. I don't draw out the pose or body along with the head, I just draw shoulders under the head and figure it out from there. I don't even bother making the hands look good.
