KaruShuu OTP Questions

Ah- I created ehhh 4?? I suppose KaruShuu head-canons posts today but do I regret it? Absolutely not, I loved it. So here you go, have another one, don't be shy, read it.

Also, please keep in mind that these head-canons are completely made up by me in a way of that it's just how I would see it sksksk also here, KaruShuu would be probably adults?? Also married??

Who is the most affectionate? Sinceee they got married, I'm sure the longer into the relationship, the more they have opened up to each other? Karma would be the type to wake up first in the morning and kiss Shuu good morning, but since Shuu is an early bird, he would wake up before Karma and make breakfast for him. Thats how he shows affection ❤️🧡

Most common argument? Sad to think that they NeEd to argue 🙄💅 but oh well- I thinkkk they would argue over super silly things. For example what to watch (If you have read my previous head canons, you will know what I mean by 'Shrek Marathons'):

"Let's watch something"

"Sure, what do you have in mind?''

Karma would just grin over to Shuu and Shuus eyes would widen, "Hell no"

"Absolutely ye-"

"Karma don't you dAR-"

They ended up watching (again for the 12 time this week) Shrek.

Who apologizes first? Karma apologies fly out of his mouth faster than they stop arguing. Karma would rather apologize than not let them talk for the next few hours.

Favorite (non-sexual) activity to do together? They enjoy getting massage! Ifff KaruShuu was too lazy to go out to get a professional massage for a few hours, they would do it to each other. (It usually ends with them making out later on but I'll delete that part)

Who is most likely to carry the other? Karma would carry Shuu ❤️😩 Ugh bridal style to embarrass him 💀💅

Nicknames?

For Karma, by Shuu: Tamponhead (I used this one in my fanfic and I will forever love it), Moron, Karma. Tbh, I don't think neither like these pet-names or nicknames since that think they are 'cringy'.

Tho, Karma has quite a few: Shuu (Main, he doesn't use 'Gakushuu' but when he does, Shuu melts lol), Pumpkin, Orange, pumpkin pie, Strawberry shortcake (bc he loves strawberries so why not call Shuu one 😌🤚🏻), Sugar cube (Idk I think it's cute, tho I don't know if that's even a nickname- 💀💀)

Also a note: They would definitely not use 'baby', 'babe', 'honey' bc- noooo 😩💀

Who proposes? Karma 💅

Who sings along with the radio? Karma would sing along but he is horrible at singing and Shuu makes him KNOW it by him singing and Karma shuts up but finds it hilarious at the same time.

Who worries most? Both do, depending on the situation. Shuu would be worried about stuff like paying taxes or things like that, meanwhile Karma is worried for Shuus health, if he is eating enough as well as getting enough sleep every night. Shuu is a hardworking bee after all ✨

Who always wants to take selfies with the other? Karma wants to, for example they are traveling somewhere for vacation and Karma wants to take as many pics as possible with his husband so he can later on put them into an album ❤️😩 (KaruShuu as a married couple >>>>)

Who likes to playfully tease the other? Ohhh~ Karma teases Shuu all the time, but there are times where Shuu would feel playful so he would tease back

Who has the weirdest taste in their music? Karma I'm begging you- his music taste changes every week and road trips are a disaster for Shuu

Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant? Karma remembers because Shuu is always ordering the same things since he is minimalistic lol but Karma is a living chaos when it comes to food so Shuu can't remember it all.

Who is embarrassed to take their clothes off in front of the other? Lmao no matter for how long they are already together, no matter if they are married, no matter how many times they had done it, Shuu would be the one to be embarrassed about it every time.

Who tops? ...Okay so here, personally as someone who writes Fanfics, Karma tops. Always. I just- I just can't imagine Shuu as a top?? my friends gave me some really valid reasons for Shuu to be a top but I just can't see it 😩

Who initiates kisses? Both I guess? But mostly Karma

Who reaches for the other's hand first? Oooo here an example! If they are driving in the car, and Karmas hand is free, Shuu usually reaches for it but as soon as Karma needs it to drive, he has to let go. Or if they are in the cinema - Shuu would definitely hold onto Karmas hand the whole time - as comfort, since they usually watch Horror movies together so yea 😌

Who kisses hardest? Who is most ticklish? Both is Karma, but when it comes to tickling, even tho Karma is more ticklish, he is also stronger than Shuu so he can easily pin him down and tickle him, just for the sake to see Shuu giggle which kills him bc God damnit isn't he adorable?

Who brings an animal they found home? Lol depends on the animal. I would say Karma is a cat person and Shuu is a dog person b u t Shuu is allergic to cats so they can't have cats. But I think if Karma would be the one to bring an animal home, it would be a dog.

Who holds the umbrella for the other when it's raining? Karma's shoe laces often get untangled, so when Karma bends to tie them, Shuu stands over him with an umbrella to keep the rain from pouring on him.

Who tries to playfully embarrass the other in public? Karma 😭

Who kills the scary bugs? Oh lemme tell you about this one:

Shuu HATES bugs, since he always had the feeling of his father having a bunch of centipedes around himself whenever he acted manipulative and so on so he hates them. So one time when Shuu was taking a shower, and Karma was in the kitchen, Shuu suddenly screeched so Karma went to check on him. He walked onto a Shuu, covering himself with a towel and looking absolutely T E R R I F I E D at the ceiling, stuttering. Karma was hella confused so he looked up and oop here we go, a spider. Karma obv took the spider off the ceiling to free it, but first he had to tease and scare his husband a little by walking towards the shower stall, "Shuu look~ He wants to be friends with you~", the way Shuu screamed at this made almost all of the windows in the apartment break.

Who asks the weird questions at random in the middle of the night? Karma does that on a daily basis, but when Shuu is a little bit drunk, he would ask weird questions to which Karma never has an answer but he jokes around.

Who hogs the blankets? Karma hogs them and Shuu ends up having a cold the next morning 😭

Who wakes up first? Shuu is an early bird, but Karma wakes up first for work.

Who wants to stay in bed just a bit longer? On weekends, they both stay in bed a bit longer to cuddle ❤️💕

Who always makes coffee for the other each morning? Karma makes coffee for Shuu before he leaves for work 🥰

Who cries during certain films or when reading sad books? Lmao Karma cries during Shrek every time the scene comes up where Shrek had an argument with Donkey 😔

Who gets scared during horror films? Shuu 😩😩 He would (as said before) take Karmas hand for comfort

Who tells their friends/family about the relationship first? Lmao none since GakuHOE is well, a hoe so they won't trust him b u t I have the feeling of Karmas mom being actually super supportive?? But they wouldn't tell her, she would just get the hint and then when she receives the wedding invite she goes "oh-".

What do their friends/family think of the relationship? Rio was shipping this since the beginning of middle school aight, she loves it and she even threw a party for them. #IstanRioNakamura

Who is more likely to ask the other to dance with them? Karma would ask Shuu to dance obv but Shuu would go along 😩💕

Who cooks best? Karma! And Shuu loves his cooking! :D

Who wears the other's jacket? Shuu is the one to wear long coats, and Karma those thicc jackets. Shuu usually gets super cold even with the coat on, so Karma gives Shuu his jacket on top of the coat lol.

Who uses cheesy pickup lines? Karma- anywhere. Have an example:

"Hey Shuu, could you feel the shirt?", he asked Shuu while they went shopping and Karma wAsN't sure about his T-Shirt choice so Shuu was running his fingers slightly over Karmas chest with the shirt still on and thinking about the material, then Karma went: "Know what it's made of?", and Shuu looked at him and was about to answer him, but Karma was quicker and continued, "Boyfriend material", ObViOuSlY with a grin and Shuu was a gay blushing mess 💅 but then Shuu went along, "What do you mean boyfriend? I can only see Husband material", and tuRNED AWAYYYYY~

Who whispers inappropriate things in the other's ear during inappropriate times? AAAA I T H I N K I've written sum like this before- So two things that happened:

KaruShuu were invited to a funereal or sum and pls the church was quiet and stuff but obv Karma had to joke around and he leaned over to Shuus ear and whispered a joke into his ear which made our stubborn Shuu giggle and the church was this close👌 to throw them out lmao

Shuu was at work, and Karma likes to call him randomly, but oh well Shuu picks up and Karma starts to tease him over the phone maybe something very sexual stuff (knowing Karma he would) and Shuu just- he is sitting at his desk and his workers are giving him looks about why is he blushing so much.

Who makes the other laugh most? Karmas jokes always make Shuu laugh, sometimes even cry since they are hilarious.

Who would have to bail the other out of jail? Oh my God- Shuu would have to bail Karma out of jail maybe during college years, but I think Karma would mature a bit more as an adult

What would be their theme song? YOOO- A WHOLE PLAYLIST WOULD BE NEEDED-

Who would sing their child back to sleep? OOO!! Karma would be the type to read stories, but Shuu would sing them to sleep :D

What do they do when they're away from each other? I can imagine that they both have those business trips from time to time, so when they are apart, they FaceTime each other every evening to check on each other. Yes indeed they must stay at fancy hotels for their business trips and they are being served food, but they still check that the other one is eating and sleeping well. Oh and good morning and goodnight texts™️🥰

A headcanon about them that stabs your feels? Oh- oH GOD- That maybe they tend to act very distant at first in their relationships?? Or more cold? For example Shuu, he would not really know nor show much affection to Karma and Karma at first thinking that Shuu doesn't love him at all (which isn't true bc Shuu loves him deeply) but then he after some time figures it out when Shuu opens up to him more.

A headcanon that mends the previous one? That they both after some time spend together, have the opportunities to open up to each other, know each other better as well as find out each others weaknesses and strengths which makes their relationship stronger. I absolutely love them ❤️😩

My cw is 120 lbs which I think is the highest it's ever been? I don't get to weigh myself often lol

I'm like 5'5 or 5'6 so pretty average. I'm ok with it but I kinda wish I was taller lol

I'm kinda worried what happens after I get to my gw, like it's not too far away but I'm not just gonna go back to eating regularly when I get to it? Idk

I just want skinny legs tbh. I am doing it for myself, but I'd be lying if I said other people's opinions of me/my looks didn't matter to me. I miss the skinny nicknames lmao

Yep, after I start restricting for too long I'll just devour everything in the refrigerator even if it makes me feel like absolute shit.

Oh hell no. Idk if they would really care, but it's way too embarrassing bc I've been trying to lose weight for years now and I've only gained since then. I'm a failure lmao

I don't really have a routine, I just have a playlist of some different workouts to choose from. I don't even do it that often tbh I'm lazy (gonna start doing it nightly though!)

Idk about negative but I've been told my legs are getting big by family. Another family member also told me they were fat lmao

I don't really have one rn. I spend so much time scrolling through this shit but I just kinda move on from one to the other

I've been living off instant rice noodles recently. 200 cal for a packet and it's so filling when drowned in water. Add a poached egg and you have some gourmet shit

Both ig? I used to do it more healthily but this recent dip back into being obsessed with getting skinny has been the worst so far lmao.

Rn it's 96 lbs. I certainly could get there by the end of the year but knowing me I probably won't. A bitch can dream. A bitch can also undo a week's worth of progress in one day.

Day 15: Are you vegan or vegetarian? If so, has this helped you to lose weight? If no, do you ever consider turning vegan or vegetarian?

I tried veganism out a few years ago, but I'd never go back to it. I don't need stress dreams of accidentally eating meat or dairy products and binging. Fuck the cows tbh

I actually don't know. I have memories of trying to stop eating altogether and then binging on uncrustables from when I was younger, but I only really got into calorie counting like 2-3 years ago?

Nah but I certainly relate to the ed side of tumblr more than the dieting subreddits I used to subscribe to. Idk at what point you're allowed to say you have an eating disorder but I definitely have some disordered eating going on lol

Avocados and oil. Oil scares the living shit out of me, jesus. Why does there have to be so many calories in such a small amount??? And I love avocados but I just can't look at them the same anymore lmao

Idk the last time but my family gets it pretty often. I used to use it as an excuse to binge but once you learn the low cal options it isn't rlly scary anymore

I don't really go by any specific diets, I just try to stay under a specific amount of calories

Idk at this point. It varies too much depending on the brand so I just try shit on and don't pay attention to the size

Venus, my ball python, is extremely odd with food to the point I sometimes worry about her, but she's always been this way and is healthy, so I guess it's nothing really worth fretting over. Anyway, when I place her rat in her terrarium, she gets excited first and will pretty much frantically examine her surroundings, like slithering around everywhere, and even when she has clearly found the rat (she'll even prod it with her snout), she usually won't immediately eat. She just like... sits there and has to continue to verify for ten minutes that it's food. I know it's thawed perfectly, btw. So anyway, THAT'S weird... As for Roman, dear god, that cat's just weird, lmao. I needed to sit on your reply a good part of the day so I didn’t message you earlier like “I hate myself and everything about me” but uh. that sentiment is still there, I’m just trying not to throw myself too far under the bus here

I think you misinterpreted my tone about the road thing, the corn thing, whatever else. I tend to be kind of deadpan with some of my humor unless I’m trying to obviously be sarcastic; I don’t actually think any of those things are wrong or whatever else. I hope you know that. I’ll joke with my friends sometimes about their little dialectal things; like how in western PA there’s infinitival copula deletion (”the clothes need washed” instead of “need to be washed”), or how they’ll say ‘pop’ instead of ‘soda’, and I’ll joke about how that’s ‘wrong’ sometimes. but as a linguist I really do find it fascinating; everything about linguistic variation is interesting to me. and it’s far from wrong, just different. I guess I just need to work more on how I’m coming across. but it would also help me if you could point it out, because I literally don’t even realize I’m doing it. or, rather, I don’t realize my tone is coming across as serious.

as far as “needing to be right” or “needing you to be wrong”; that’s something I really resent hearing, actually. it’s something charlotte does all the time and I absolutely hate it, but I’m sure some of that managed to rub off on me after being friends with her for literally half my life. I also don’t realize it when I’m coming across that way and I really don’t mean to. I’m not trying to prove you wrong or be argumentative, and I at least hope I do alright at accepting when I’m wrong. so I do apologize for that.

I’m also not super conscious of how I am in literally any setting where I’m not by myself, but it became pretty obvious when you brought up the dishes. like, why don’t I just go ahead and do them? it’s not that I don’t want to, or that I wanted you to do them instead. I know I would have done them all myself too. thinking back, though... I’m just like that. I don’t know why. if I’m by myself, I have control over my environment. or, at least.. that’s the best phrasing I have for it right now. when I was in my apartment at school, it was my space. my messes, my dishes, my things to take care of on my own time, and I’d do them. I clean my room at home and try to keep it clean, I clean my dishes at home when I’m up to it, so on. when I’m in a shared space, or in a space that isn’t my own, I don’t really know what to do with myself. I kind of default to letting other people take charge. I’m super unsure of myself and usually wait to be told what to do, because it’s not my space. I saw a post earlier today on facebook that hit me like a ton of bricks because this is basically what it feels like:

and the thing is... I don’t know if it’s a result of abuse. I don’t think I was so traumatized in childhood that I feel a real loss of autonomy. but I think that deep down there is some kind of fear that I’ll do something wrong and someone will be upset, so it’s safest just to wait to get some direction. I guess mom did snap at me enough as a kid that I was really hard on myself when I did something wrong. I constantly seem to have this feeling like “am I allowed...?” even in contexts where I can pretty much do whatever I want. in that space at the apartment, I did want to help, I just wasn’t sure what to do. I wasn’t sitting around waiting for you to take care of it. that’s my fault for not recognizing it sooner. I can’t expect you to direct me, but I guess that’s why I said “if you’d asked me to do the dishes I would’ve done them”. and “asking” is definitely different from getting an attitude with me and snapping at me over a single bowl in the sink like my mom does. something like hey, could you do these while I take care of food? or the like. that kind of thing is super helpful for me, and I’ve got zero problem with it.

the one thing I think I’m hardest on myself for is negativity. I try to avoid it. but I’ve been aware of it for a long time and I’ve been really hard on myself about it in the past. I know I have old blog posts somewhere just ripping myself apart because of how picky I seem to be about everything. I don’t like food, I don’t like drinking, I don’t like sex, I don’t like pretty much anything most people my age seem to like, I’m apparently real picky about my tv shows and music taste... there definitely are things I do like, but what seems to come out the most is what I don’t like, because so much of it is things other people do like. I don’t want to be a downer, I’m so sick of seeing myself like that. but that’s just how I come across, and I don’t know how to not be like this. it’s something I absolutely hate about myself. but by that same token, I guess that is where we’re just going to differ. I refuse to lie and fake shared interests. if I want a real bond with someone, I’m the kind of person who will keep looking til there is something we both like. maybe if we really are that different, we shouldn’t be trying so hard to make it work out. that’s the whole thing about toxic relationships and whatnot. I’m not suggesting that’s us specifically; I know you and I get along on some level. I was just really thrown by the fact that you lied about what shows you liked. that was something I thought we shared, and turns out it wasn’t. I personally don’t appreciate being lied to, even if it’s something small like that.

also me saying I don’t like something.. that isn’t me absolutely trashing it, or thinking you’re wrong for liking it, or whatever else. it’s just not something I like. my personal preference. doesn’t mean I hate it; if I hated it you’d know, lmao. I think it’s okay to admit when you don’t like something; everyone’s entitled to their opinions. I know it’s tiring with me because of how picky I can be. I’m not sure what to do about that, but like I said. I’m not going to lie. I don’t see what good it does. I only see lies getting worse and causing serious rifts and I’d rather avoid that if I can. I personally don’t see expressing a dislike for something as being outright negative; unless I really hate it, it’s just a statement. “no, didn’t like that so much, can we try something else” or “yes, liked that, more please” have pretty similar weight to me; they’re just personal opinions. not on any extreme end of positivity or negativity, you know? there’s a lot more grey area there, I think. you can’t possibly like everything, and I don’t think expressing dislike for things that genuinely don’t appeal to you is inherently being negative. maybe we’re just going to differ on that. I’m really not trying to be rude, I would just rather be honest so we’re not wasting time pretending we enjoy things we don’t. it’s not creating a genuine bond to do that, in my eyes. I don’t know that it’s ‘just human’ to do that either; I don’t think I know anyone who does. they’re maybe more gentle about expressing distaste, and I do try to be gentle about it myself, but I haven’t had anyone I know tell me they like something when they don’t. maybe that’s why that was so upsetting for me.

I am serious about not knowing what I can trust, though. I really don’t want you to tell me what you think I want to hear, and it’s going to take some work to earn that trust back. I won’t demand honesty from you if you see it as rude, but I’m going to leave it in your hands if you want me to trust you.

all said, though, it was a good week. I’m happy the weather held out. it really is beautiful there. I still can’t get over how clear the water was, ha. if you come to visit you’ll see what I mean. one of these days it’d be nice to go back, just... my future is really up in the air right now. I do need to be a little more careful, I think. I did go on this trip because I had the time and the money and why not enjoy my freedom while I have it, but it also did feel kind of impulsive and I really need to quit doing things ‘because who cares, nothing matters anyway’. I think there’s a pessimistic, nihilistic way to interpret that statement, and a more carefree way to interpret it as well. a lot of my impulsive decisions from the last year or two have fallen under the former. I’ve still got a lot of work to do on myself, as I’m sure you’re aware.

Puberty and a lack of hygiene hit Eric Cartman like a baseball bat to a toddler’s teeth. Eric’s skin is greasy and pimply, his brown eyes are beady and swallowed by fat, he constantly smells of fast food and BO, his clothing is usually grimey and stained by food, his hair, while a pleasing auburn shade, is short and greasy. Whatever facial structure he could have had is hidden under double chins and years of bad eating. It’s as round as the rest of him. He has no neck, it’s just a layer of fat flopped over his shoulders.

Eric is short, standing at 5ft 5 inches. Due to a lack of self control he’s morbidly obese. His knees hurt when he walks and anything more physical than a slow pace makes him pour sweat and pant like a dog.

When Eric is attempting to manipulate someone or is dressing up to pull a scheme, he pulls out all the stops with wearing nice clothes and as clean as humanly possible. Otherwise however, he does not give two shits. Afterall, why bother spending time showering when you can use that time to eat more KFC?

Eric’s wardrobe never changed, plain pants and tshirts are still his signature clothing style. In an attempt to make Eric more independant, Liane tried insisting Eric wash his own clothes. Eric instead refused to do so and chooses to continue wearing his dirty clothes until she can’t stand the sight or smell anymore and washes his clothes for him. It’s a recurring, endless cycle.

Despite all this, Eric continues to be under the delusion that he is a complete and utter chick magnet that makes all pussies in a 200 square foot radius wet. He’s convinced that there’s nothing wrong with his appearance and that he’s insanely good looking.

Personality: Eric could have been a good person. He had the potential inside him at one point before his anger and vileness took over.

Now, Eric is complete and utter, irredeemable flaming human garbage. He is racist, abusive, quick to anger and never thinks ahead unless it stands to benefit him. He constantly lies and looks to see how he can make any situation make him better. Eric can and will do anything he possibly can to get his way no matter what.

Eric is wildly self centered and can’t stand the idea of anyone around him not wanting to be at his beck and call. He’s broken in his mother to obeying his every whim and becomes enraged when she tries to put her foot down. He is a master manipulator and does not care one bit about anyone around him whatsoever. Eric truly does not feel empathy for people around him- he is the stereotype of a dangerous sociopath.

Eric thinks nothing of people around him, seeing a person cry and be hurt makes him laugh like nothing else. He is a genuine racist and hates Jews- thinking the absolute worst of them. Because of a lack of romantic and sexual endeavors he could consider successful, Eric’s developed incel and neckbeard like tendencies and ways of thinking, feeling like the world owes him sex and love and that he’s such a ‘nice guy’ that is sooo much better than all these other Chads and deserves to be surrounded by pussy. He doesn’t seem to think that his vile way of thinking and language has anything to do with his lackluster love life.

Perhaps what makes Eric so dangerous is the fact that he can be amazingly charismatic. He genuinely has good leadership skills and can masterfully weave words together when he’s actually thinking about it. He has an amazing knack for seeing a person’s weakness and exploiting it. While Eric may not be book smart, he can read and play people like a fiddle.

Eric does have some insecurities about himself but he’s buried them so deep down inside that he doesn’t realize that they’re there.

History: Eric was born and raised by Liane Cartman, a genuinely sweet single mother despite her drug addiction. She tried her hardest to raise Eric well, but as Eric grew older he became worse and worse.

For the first years of his life, he was simply a whiny and argumentative brat but as time went by he began to learn manipulation skills and started to think less and less of the people around him. His first signs of something being off about him was the way he treated his pets and his own mother. Eventually this bled into how he treated his friends and the people around him. Why Stan, Kenny and Kyle bothered with him is anybody’s guess.

Eric has a criminal record but jail seems to have not made any lasting impact on him whatsoever. He’s simply more careful about getting caught by the law. Don’t forget that Eric got away with murder when he was just ten years old. He has no morals whatsoever.

With Marvel’s continued success, Eric also continued his superhero persona. Although he claimed to be a hero fighting for justice, it’s plainly obvious to anyone with any brain cells that this is just another scheme to try and make money and bolster his own image.

Eric’s impulsivity, manipulative ways and anger issues only continued to grow as time went on. While there’s been few additions to his criminal record, the list of crimes and wrongdoings he’s committed is beyond endless. Eric Cartman doesn’t particularly have any dreams for when high school is over which intensely worries Liane. He seems perfectly content to laze around with his mother at his every beck and call.

Whatever the future holds for Eric Cartman, it’s not going to be good for anyone around him.

YOU are going to tell your little gossip friends about how AMAZING and AWESOME Eric Cartman is and THEN you’re going to get me onto the group.”

The ability to be able to spread whatever gossip he wanted about anyone he wanted? Well sure he could do that whenever he wanted but this was a platform. It already had most of the work done for him. “And now, I know what you’re thinking- ‘Why would I ever let Eric join? He’s just so awesome and amazing that I know he’d outshine me in a second’. Well this is why Kyle. If you don’t, I’m going to tell everyone in this school that you are gay for Stan. Yeah. You’re fucking gay for him. I’ll tell everyone. And it’ll make everything super awkward between you and him. Maybe I’ll even fake a few kissy faggy love notes so that shit will never be the same between you two.”

His grin was wide and sickly. That would be a good threat. The embarrassment of it and the potential ruin of Kyle’s friendship with his closest and longest lasting pal was more than enough. Erin licked his lips, they tasted like grease from last night’s dinner. Kyle was below him. He was stupid and just another pawn to Eric.

If he didn’t do this- well, Eric could easily find another way to make him.

Headcanons: Eric may be bi but like, hes still super homophobic. Apparently gay activities are only acceptable if he’s doing it.

Anything else: Eric is going to say and do a lot of genuinely horrible things so warning at you dudes about that.

i find these lil differences really interesting as well :D i love learning about things you guys do and say in america. like keeping eggs in the fridge in the store. that’s interesting lol :D

I’m also not super conscious of how I am in literally any setting where I’m not by myself, but it became pretty obvious when you brought up the dishes. like, why don’t I just go ahead and do them? it’s not that I don’t want to, or that I wanted you to do them instead. I know I would have done them all myself too. thinking back, though… I’m just like that. I don’t know why. if I’m by myself, I have control over my environment. or, at least.. that’s the best phrasing I have for it right now. when I was in my apartment at school, it was my space. my messes, my dishes, my things to take care of on my own time, and I’d do them. I clean my room at home and try to keep it clean, I clean my dishes at home when I’m up to it, so on. when I’m in a shared space, or in a space that isn’t my own, I don’t really know what to do with myself. I kind of default to letting other people take charge. I’m super unsure of myself and usually wait to be told what to do, because it’s not my space. I saw a post earlier today on facebook that hit me like a ton of bricks because this is basically what it feels like:

I don’t think I was so traumatized in childhood that I feel a real loss of autonomy. but I think that deep down there is some kind of fear that I’ll do something wrong and someone will be upset, so it’s safest just to wait to get some direction. I guess mom did snap at me enough as a kid that I was really hard on myself when I did something wrong. I constantly seem to have this feeling like “am I allowed…?” even in contexts where I can pretty much do whatever I want. in that space at the apartment, I did want to help, I just wasn’t sure what to do. I wasn’t sitting around waiting for you to take care of it.

i think, in this particular context, we value different things. you place a high value on me enjoying the same media you do. i place high value on spending time with another person and enjoying a shared activity. it doesn’t matter what it is. that’s how i bond with other people, through shared experiences. it’s the experience i value, not the particular activity we do. i hate bars but i go to the bar with the guys all the time. i don’t like pool but we play it all the time. do i like bob’s burgers? not really. do i enjoy spending time with you? definitely

i think there are a lot more important things in life than talking about whether we “like” something or not. what does it even mean? so what if i don’t like a certain show you watch. so what if you don’t like some band i listen to? does this really change the universe in any meaningful way? as for lies getting worse, i’m not a pathological liar lmao. i think this is being blown out of proportion

I personally don’t see expressing a dislike for something as being outright negative; unless I really hate it, it’s just a statement. “no, didn’t like that so much, can we try something else” or “yes, liked that, more please” have pretty similar weight to me; they’re just personal opinions. not on any extreme end of positivity or negativity, you know? there’s a lot more grey area there, I think. you can’t possibly like everything, and I don’t think expressing dislike for things that genuinely don’t appeal to you is inherently being negative. maybe we’re just going to differ on that.

I’m really not trying to be rude, I would just rather be honest so we’re not wasting time pretending we enjoy things we don’t. it’s not creating a genuine bond to do that, in my eyes.

again i think too much analysis is being applied to this, but i’ll offer my opinion anyway since you’ve written about it. i think what you’ve written expresses your feeling well: if you don’t like the activity, it’s wasting time. i feel differently about that. i don’t have to like the activity. i think if you focus on the activity and not the shared experience with another person then you limit yourself socially.

different people like to do different things, and if you only do the things that you like then you need to find people who also like those things. that’s limiting. for example, sometimes we go out for drinks after work. sometimes we can be out quite late. as i said, i don’t like pubs etc and i don’t even drink. i don’t enjoy the activity, but i do enjoy spending time with my coworkers. that’s what i find value in.

I don’t know that it’s ‘just human’ to do that either; I don’t think I know anyone who does. they’re maybe more gentle about expressing distaste, and I do try to be gentle about it myself, but I haven’t had anyone I know tell me they like something when they don’t. maybe that’s why that was so upsetting for me.

i think this is getting a lot deeper than it actually is. i don’t mean to be flippant but is this really all about how i said i liked your tv show so i didn’t hurt your feelings?

Get It Together For Jug

A/N: okay but on a real note if Jugs dad doesn't get his shit together then I pray he's good at catching because I will throw hands. I love Jughead too much to let him suffer. Lmao much love guys

Laying on her bed, Y/N worked on a paper she was supposed to be writing for her english class. She couldn't focus though, her mind was racing with thoughts of her best friend, Jughead. Earlier that day he had confessed to her that his dad still hadn't gotten off his old bad habit of drinking even though weeks before he had promised to stop. Jughead had tried his hardest to believe his dad would get better for him and his family, but of course FP had disappointed him once again.

It infuriated Y/N, her poor best friend deserved so much more in life and the fact that he had to suffer all because of his dads doings made her want to punch a wall. She cared for Jughead of course, he was her best friend, but there were other feelings involved as well. In fact she had been border line in love with him since the eighth grade, but she said nothing to him about these feelings in fear he didn't feel the same. She wanted nothing more but to protect him, shelter him, and make him feel the love he thought no one felt towards him.

The anger that was simmering in her stomach now came to a full boil as she thought about how broken Jughead was earlier that day. He just wanted his family back together, he just wanted a normal teenage life, he just wanted to have a home but FP and his habits were prohibiting that from happening, and Y/N was sick of it. Quickly she jumped up from her bed, shoving her feet into some boots and throwing a coat on. She grabbed her mothers keys off the counter and stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind her. She knew she was going to get into trouble for slamming the door, leaving the house at 11:30pm, and stealing the car without asking, but she didn't care. She was furious.

She sped down the road towards Jugheads house, lost in thought as to what she was going to say when she got there. Pulling up, she saw the lights on in the house so she knew he was awake. She turned off the car and stormed up to the door, banging loudly until it opened.

"Y/N!" A very drunk FP said, surprise lacing his voice. "What are you doing here? You know Jughead doesn't live here anymore..."

"I'm aware. He hasn't lived here in quite some time, wouldn't you say?" she asked angrily. FP gave her a confused look, as if he didn't understand the question. Judging by how wasted he was, it didn't surprise her that he didn't understand. She pushed past him, and now stood in the living room, staring down at the bottles and cans that littered the floor. She heard as the front door shut, and heavy steps came up behind her. She turned around to face the drunken man, and she let it all come out. She was pissed.

"You promised!" she yelled. "You promised your son that you'd get your shit together, but look at you now! You're fucking wasted!" FP put his hands up, slightly shocked by her rage. "Your son needs you, he needs his family, and you're fucking it up for him! He wants you to get his family back together, he wants to not have to worry about having a roof over his head, or food to eat! Your son wants to be your first priority, but here you are picking alcohol over him!" She waved her hands behind her, motioning to the tens of bottles littered around the room, and FP became angry as well.

"I would NEVER pick alcohol over my son, or my family!" he hissed, slightly slurring his words. Y/N angrily laughed, rolling her eyes.

"I don't see your family here, FP. I don't see you making any effort to bring them here either. I don't see you welcoming them back into their own home and begging them to stay, I see beer bottles. I see vodka, I see whiskey, and I see a man who doesn't give a fuck about anything but his next drink." she sneered, and FP raised his hand, getting ready to hit her. Neither of them had noticed he front door open, and Jughead enter.

"I fucking dare you to touch me." Y/N laughed. Jughead ran up to his dad and grabbed his hand, throwing it down to his side. FP drunkenly swung at his son, punching him across the face. Y/N ran up to FP and pushed him back, away from Jughead, and she grabbed Jugs face in her hands. It was then that FP got a good look at who he hit, and he was immediately filled with regret.

"Oh god, Jughead! I'm so sorry buddy, I didn't realize it was you." he slurred, trying to get near him.

"Don't fucking touch him." Y/N hissed, putting up a hand to stop him. She turned her attention back to Jughead, and tears rolled down her face as she saw his cheek turn bright red and start to swell. "Oh Juggie.." she whimpered, running her fingers across his cheek.

"I don't know why you're crying." he teased, trying his best not to show he was in pain. "I'm the one who got hit." He winced as her fingers traced over his face and she quickly withdrew her hand, pulling him into a hug.

"I'm so sorry." she mumbled against his chest, and he pulled back, looking down at the girl in front of him.

"It's not your fault." he mumbled. "But what are you even doing here?" Y/N glanced towards FP, the bottles behind him and then back to Jughead. She turned her attention to the floor, and sniffled.

"Trying to talk some sense into your jackass of a father." she whispered, and Jughead looked up at his dad, and then back to her.

"Why?" he asked. "It's not because of what I told you today was-"

"Of course it was!" she yelled. "But not just because of today, but because of the past few months! Jughead, you are an amazing person, and I absolutely hate that you're going through such a shitty time! I can't stand to see you so sad and upset lately, and it's all because of him!" Tears were falling freely from her face, and her voice was cracking.

"I just want you to have a normal teenage life, with your mother, your sister, and your father because no matter how much I try I can't love and protect you like they can! I just want you to have a stable roof over your head and food in your stomach because you refuse to live with me and my family although we offered! I just want to see you with a smile on your face, and I just want you to be happy Forsythe! It breaks me knowing you aren't because I'm in love with you and I just want the best for you! So I thought if I came here-" suddenly Y/N was cut off by a pair of lips on her own. Shocked at first, she quickly melted into the kiss, her hands flying up to grab hold of Jugheads face, forgetting about his hurt cheek. He pulled back in pain, and she pulled her hand back.

"Fuck I'm sorry Juggie." she apologized.

"Y/N listen to me. You love and protect me more than anyone else, and you make me so incredibly happy. I love you too, and I know that you thought you could come here and yell some sense into my dad, and that was very sweet and thoughtful of you, but it won't do anything. I doubt he'll even remember any of this happened." Jughead muttered the last part, glancing over at his very drunk dad who was falling asleep standing up. He shifted his gaze back to the girl in front of him and he smiled. He winced at the pain of smiling, and Y/N stood up, helping Jughead to his feet.

"Let's take you back to my place, put some ice on that, and watch a movie." she suggested, walking towards the door. Jughead grabbed her wrist and pulled her toward him, so that their faces were inches from eachother.

"Thank you." he leaned down, glancing from her lips to her eyes.

"For?" she asked, doing the same thing.

"Looking out for me. At least I have someone out here who loves me and had my back. It makes me feel pretty great." he whispered, his lips brushing against hers.

"I'll always be here, Jug." she whispered, finally connecting their lips. When they pulled apart, she smiled up at him and took his hand, walking him to the car. She drove him to her house, and after putting ice on his face and explaining to her mom the nights events, they finally settled on her bed to watch a movie where they fell asleep in each-others arms.

Not that you ever look at my Tumblr, but here's why.

Please understand to anyone who does see this, accept the fact this will be sloppy, I am by far not the best writer. However, without further ado, here is my dreadful life story. (Which I am going to regret putting up online about 10 minutes after I do)

I must go back before I was born to my sister's day of birth. See, my sister was overdue for and entire month. Yes a full 31 days. Why the doctors didn't force her out, I have no clue. When she did come out she was pissed. She really liked my mother's baby making insides. She had decided if she was coming out so where my mother's insides. My mother had a prolapsed uterus. I don't really know what that means but oh well 🙃. But the doctor told her she wasn't going to have any kids after that.

846 days later (2 years, 3 months, and 26 days)

I, the flower goddess was born.

August 29th, 2001

I was born two days late, not really that bad. My sister by far won that competition. However, there was nothing off about the day I was born. I mean except for the fact that my father left half way through to go be with my younger sisters mother. He did come back...two days later to sign the birth certificate and left again.

I don't remember my baby days, of course, so I'm just gonna spit out random facts about what I remember and what I was told.

~i was potty trained a little before I was 2

~i could walk at 1 year and 3 months

~i cried over everything till I was like 10

~my father was abusive and strangled my mother in a parking lot with me in her arms.

~my first word was "mawmaa" as in Mama

~ I hated yams

~i had Mongolian Spots till I was 6! Baby's lose those withing there first year maybe 2. The school thought my family beat on me, so I had to come in with a month doctor's note.

~my father stalked my mom, sister and I till we moved to Alabama.

Oh? That last one? Yeah all I remember about Alabama was we lived in a house and I had a cat (that was all mine!), Who had 16 kittens before we moved back to Tennessee.

(I don't remember a lot of my childhood because I was hit by a car so sorry if this doesn't have a lot)

We had moved into my grandparents when we got back. We ate a lot of Chinese food which is probably why it's my favorite. Growing up I was freaky skinny. To the point where my mother called me her little Ethiopian baby. If you don't get the picture I'll try and help. I was really dark because I used to stay outside in the sun. When I poked out my stomach I looked like I was fed even though you could still see my ribcage, my elbows and knees where bigger than my actual arms and legs. You could see every bone in my body. But I ate so much food! I don't get it. Oh! And I had long hair,(that I miss very much) I mean down to my ass long.

You see I started gaining weight like crazy when I was about 7ish and my outy belly button turned to an inny. And I started looking like I ate food. And my weight was healthy. My grandmother took thinking shears to my scalp in random spots so my hair grew uneven, till I had to get it cut.

When I was nine I started middle School. Which was shit! I got made fun of because of my southern accent in a really trash school. Everyone was either rude or freaky racist, and as a little mixed girl I couldn't avoid it.

In sixth grade I had this best friend named Hannah. We hung out every weekend and she was really pretty. I was the ugly friend by far. And sooner or later my attraction for Hannah got stronger. I had slowly but surely started to realize I liked females. Hannah was beautiful in everyway. She was the only person at that school that didn't judge me, but I was to scared to even come out to her. Hannah got a boyfriend named Caleb a few months later after my discovery. He hated me. Hannah started to drift away from me and our friendship split after an argument. Her boyfriend had said something about me not having my father and told me to "get over it because he's not coming back." How did he know about my father? Because Hannah told him. This caused a huge argument at the lunch table one day and I a little 10-year-old, with huge glasses and braces stood up and beat the absolute shit out of this kid who was an entire head taller than me, than Hannah called me a bitch and made me cry. I got suspended and Caleb got a black eye and a kiss from Hannah. Do I regret it? LMAO FUCK NO!

Seventh grade, I met one of my best friends named Jessica. Me and her snuck out at her house once and than we weren't allowed to hang out outside of school anymore. Which never stopped us. We met up at the park across from her house every once and a while. She was the first one I came out to, but we kept our friendship inside school to keep her from getting in trouble.

Skip forward to 8th grade. I got kicked off the track team for fighting. And I was out as bisexual to all of my friends. Jessica and I started hanging out after her evil step mother granted us permission. I had a crush on Jessica but she was dating one of my friends that I've known since 2nd grade. They were cute and I was happy for them so I wasn't angry and Raffeal or Jessica for it. I drifted from the group though and fell in with the wrong crowd. I skipped school and started smoking cigarettes. I got kicked out of my house for about 3 months and moved in with a "friend" named Alex. I started selling pills and weed, and soon became addicted to Xanax.

Let me tell you about the ground I was in. Hanna, (not the 6th grade Hannah, this is Hanna without an extra H) Hanna was beat on by her father and her mom was in jail for drugs and shit. Next Alex he was a junky enough said, this one kid named Mac who really liked cars and smoked crack with his pot. Trey who fucked almost everyone. Jacob who was an atheist and put cigarettes out on his wrist. And me, but you guys know me by now. There was this one guy that was in our little group. His name was Eric. He was always flirted with me. We got together on my 13th birthday. He was 16 btw. Me and him hung out alot without the others. He was creepy though. He was obsessive. I had to cut it off with him, even though I did he never stopped. To this day I wish he knew what it felt like to be me. To this fucking day I want to know I made that boy cry. Eric. He made me cry so many nights.

I'm going to try my hardest to tell you why he makes me so emotional without getting emotional. Eric, had began to stalk me. Sometimes he made himself know other times he didn't. He would come to my window at nights an tap on it (heads up I jumped a little ahead to when I moved back in with my mom, he was there before and after I had. So like so there's no confusion.) One night he came just to tell me how much I was going to miss him. He left me letters in my mailbox. Telling me how he was gonna beat my ass next time he saw me in public. He told me he was going to "abuse my body" after the first couple I texted Hanna I asked if she would come and stay with me a few nights. Of course she took me up on that offer because she hated being home. I had showed her the letters and she told Alex. Alex and I had but heads alot but he was like a brother. He let me live with him for fuck sake. I trusted him. Mac, Trey, and, Alex had gone up to his house one night. Hanna and I went too. We waited out side as the guys had went around back. Jacob was in his car. He told Hanna and I to get in but we didn't. We heard a loud thud and the guys came walking back around and they had some ropes in their hands and those things that hold things together that I think are called jumper cables but I don't think so. They told us to get in the car and wait and that they would be out in about 15 minutes once they found an opening. We did and we kept ourselves busy. We talked about Hanna and Alex's weird relationship. To this day I have no clue what the hell they where. A little while goes by I have no clue how long but they came back out . They where laughing and had the ropes and things with them with them. I asked why they still had them and they said, "we wanted to be like spy's...plus we need them cause we have none" I started laughing so hard.

Now now now before you assume what they did they went in the shed and stole his shit then put tape on Eric's window and broke it so it wouldn't make a lot of noise. I had thought they just opened it cause I had no clue they had duct tape. But they went in and beat the living shit out of Eric. It made me happy, yes. But I didn't get the last laugh.

June 19th, the worst year of my life

I thought it was all good and so I went on a walk. Eric was sitting on these bricks on a road called "stone hedge" and he waited for me to pass on the opposite side of the street. He started following me and so I walked up to a park up from my house.and when I got tho the play ground I dropped a book I was holding and my phone. I turned around and screamed at him to go away and leave me alone. He stopped walking for like 2 seconds before he took off running after me. In panic I picked up my phone and started running. I tried calling Alex but I couldn't see anything because I was crying hard as fuck. I turned and threw my phone at him. I didn't bother watching where it went but there was a hill at the end of the park I had slid down it before standing up again and running twards the train tracks he had caught up to me though.

I screamed as loud as I could for help but he punched me than again and again till all I could do was beg he than grabbed me by my arm and slung me over off the gravel and in the grass.

This part is very graphic so I am sorry but please scroll to the next paragraph if you are sensitive or get triggered by assault I am very sorry -AND.

As I type this crying in my garage I want to say that it's okay. If something ever happens to you than I'm sorry. Tell someone and don't make the same mistake I did. Eric had pulled me into a creek at the back of the park and fought me to get my pants off after he won that fight he pressed his knee onto my chest making it hard for me to breath he unbutton his pants and I fought as hard as I could I swear I did everything in my might to stop him but I failed. As he did what he said he would and took advantage of my body he called me a whore.

If you know what it's like to want to be anywhere else except for where you are in that moment what it's like to feel dirty no matter how many times you shower. What it's like to bruised in places no one ever should be bruised than im sorry. When I moved back in with my mother I didn't stop taking Xanax In 9th grade she put me in a private school. I got assaulted by a teacher after she threw me in the parking lot of the school. I was drugged out one night high as a kite and had gotten in an argument I had strangled my mother that night and afterwards I swallowed 73 pills from the medicine cabinet in her bathroom. I felt the worse I have ever felt in my life. I regret what I did to my mother. I wasn't myself. I went to Vanderbilt psychiatric hospital. I stayed there for 34 days working on myself and getting cleaned up. I spent my summer there and at home. It wasn't the best.

The next year I went back to public school. I mad new friends and was doing good. I made good grades and don't let my past get to me. That was before I got into my first real relationship. His name was Sian. We where together for about 5 months before I could t take anymore. He was sweet at first soon he became abusive verbally, sexually, and physically. I got depressed again but I told myself I wasn't going to fall back into it. On New year's the next year I met this guy and he was Everything I could ask for. His name was Nate we didn't jump into a relationship asap. But he helped me get batter after Sian and made me happy. Sooner or later we go together and we Sayed together for a year. I had broken up with him two days ago and I miss him horribly it hurts like crazy. But it wasn't the same. We argued a lot and drove each other crazy and the love wasn't there as it used to be.

Now I'm here. With you. And with my life story. I hope this helps. Maybe now you understand. That yes I am clingy, but because I need someone right now because I just lost my high school sweet heart that I had plans with after graduation next year. And yes I do get sad, because I get lost in my past. And yes I do get over emotional because I can't stand being in this planet anymore. But I'm done being sorry for it. And I'm tired of feeling this way. My mental health I'd not an excuse it's a blockade from me being happy because I've been damaged in more ways but one. But im still here for something. So can you understand now? I'm this way for a reason. But I'm not broken and I can still smile. I'm not helpless so stop treating me like I am. I'm fragile as fuck but it doesn't mean that you can't play with me. And I love you but you don't have to say it back if you don't feel the same way. It's not gonna kill me if you're honest. Just don't look at me different. It's hard for me to tell you this, so I'm telling everyone this.

So thank you for listening. But as of right now I'm fine. I'm happy for the most part. I'm doing okay. And my past will never justify me. So don't see me different.

Are there any other languages you prefer besides English? It breaks its own "rules" ALL the time. If I was fluent in German, then I might actually prefer it. There are many parts to the German language that make it very precise and clear what and whom you are addressing (ex., there are two different "you"s for singular and plural usage); the only real downside I see to German is the sentence structure is odd, but then again, I mean, it does encourage active listening to get all the parts of a sentence you need to understand what is being said. Would you be upset if a long-term partner confessed that they had committed a serious crime before you met? How do you think it would affect your relationship? Hm. I guess it would depend on the crime? I sure wouldn't be happy hearing they committed an as you said serious crime, but I'd have to consider if there were other red flags for danger going on, again, if it wasn't massive in my eyes. Hm. I would say for practicality's sake that we're very close to pretty much everything, but seeing as I enjoy long car rides... With that in mind, I'd say who our landlord is. She's a very close family friend who is very understanding of our financial position, so pretty forgiving with some things. Do you eat breakfast daily? Yessss, I need breakfast to start my day off. When was the last time you had a bowl of soup? What flavor? Back when I got my snake eyes tongue piercing, I tried vegetable soup only to find I didn't like it anymore. On Thanksgiving, I was actually brave with food for once and tried that sweet potato dish that's topped with marshmallow, and it was okay. I never liked sweet potato before, and while I couldn't eat a lot of it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Does anyone in your family have green eyes? No. What was the name of your first ever pet? I was born into my family with a beautiful collie named Trigger, but I have zero recollection of her because she passed away from old age when I was very young. My first personal pet was either my guinea pig Squeak or Chinese water dragon Shadow (no, I have no idea why I named a green lizard that); I can't remember who came first. I adored them both. I feel so bad looking back though, I was so uninformed on how to properly care for a water dragon that she (or he, we were never sure) was, as far as correct husbandry goes, horribly taken care of and stunted from having a tank too small. I consider myself lucky she seemed to really trust me and loved being held, even sleeping on me, and she did live out her full lifespan. I was lucky; please, please, never adopt a reptile until you are properly educated on their unique care. Where was the last place you went out for lunch? What did you order? Mom bought me McDonald's a few days back because I was really craving it. I had a double cheeseburger and for once large fries, because that's what I was seriously wanting. I feel bad and selfish for breaking my own "stay the fuck home but for emergencies" rule, but my mom, one of my sisters, and I went out to the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday. I think I ate a chicken sandwich with Chipotle sauce? I actually don't remember for sure. I do however remember the cheesecake I got: some cinnamon swirl one that was fucking glorious. Oh yeah, and we had an appetizer of these pretzel ball things dipped in fondue. I ate waaaay too much, but it was a special occasion, so whatever. Have you Googled anything today? What? I wouldn't be surprised if it was Tobey, the "family friend" I mention a lot. She probably said something technically rude that she thought was an appropriate joke. Is there a jar of peanut butter in your house? Yeah, always. Does anyone you know own a tabby cat? How about a cocker spaniel? Tabbies are very common, so yes. I don't think I know anyone with a pure cocker spaniel, but my late dog's mother was one. Do you have blinds or curtains in your bedroom? What colour are they? I have those slanted blinds that you can close by pushing them upwards or downwards with a stick thing. They're white. What was the last beverage you tried for the first time? Some form of juice I wasn't a fan of. Orange and peach, I think? Who was the last person that said you were beautiful? I think a friend on Facebook when I changed my profile picture. Is/are your pet(s) fixed? My cat is neutered, but obviously my ball python isn't. Roman would mark the house like crazy before we got him fixed... but even if he didn't, we still would have done it. Please make spaying/neutering your cats and dogs a financial investment priority. If you do the research, you would marvel over the "damage" especially one fertile cat can cause. Hell, my childhood experience with cats is enough proof of that.

I can think of valid situations to ask most things, even controversial matters, but no one should ever have to justify something like that. "Why don't you have kids?" is another. That one gets to me. Having children is not an advancement or milestone in everyone's life, and hell, you never know if the woman's had like five miscarriages or something. What's something you've always wanted to ask someone but haven't dared? Why Mom didn't raise her eldest daughter, at least for her whole life. Katie's childhood is a big mystery to me, and I want to know more, but I know the topic is very upsetting to Mom, so I'm not about to make her explain it. How do you imagine your later life to look like? I DO NOT want to think about this. I fucking dread the thought. What is a job you would never in a million years want to do? A butcher. There is absolutely no motherfucking way I ever could do it, even if it kept me off the streets. What's the weirdest building in your city? *shrug* How do you keep in touch with friends usually? Facebook. Do you recognize friends'/family's vehicles by sound? Not anymore. Dad had an old car that was very easy to recognize with its shitty muffler, but he hasn't had that car in years upon years. I used to be able to recognize Jason's old car too because of sound, but primarily because he drove way too fast down our path that when I heard a car zooming over rocks, I knew it was him. What's something new you've just recently learned? It was actually a topic of recent discussion that I may have high-functioning Asperger's. Very, very unusual to learn later in life, but apparently Mom's seen the warning signs in some things since childhood, like my extreme pickiness with textures, my tendency to knead and play with my hands in situations of discomfort, my social ineptitude, hyperfixations, it actually running in our family (which I didn't know beforehand), among a lot of other things. We're not really digging into it though because it just doesn't matter; there's obviously no magic treatment for autism, and me being in therapy and having a psychiatrist to handle my meds is enough.
