idk how to word my thoughts so sorry if this is incomprehensible but its really cool seeing sega portraying shadow as like. heroic and cool and highlighting his positive traits and making him the protagonist of an upcoming thing. after so long of just reducing him to asshole rival and even occasionally going as far as to label him (and the rest of team dark) as a villain or place him in the same category as characters like eggman. please for the love of god let sxs generations be some good shadow food

i think its really funny that with every other ghost hunting channel ever, a good chunk of the appeal is 'woah are they gonna find real ghosts?' or whatever and they make these really over the top videos about it acting like every single thing is definitively ghosts and cant possibly be any other thing (or they completely faked it themselves) and they dont really shine as people quite as much and theyre probably trying to appeal to kids with this style of video, or just make it exciting so it doesnt feel like its just people in an empty old house blah blah

but then we have shane and ryan who have literally never found proof, they dont really pretend theyve ever found proof (ryan has thought so a few times but he doesnt exactly sit around going 'holy shit remember that piece of proof we found one time that totally proved we found ghosts!' which a lot of channels do in my experience)

#ill admit the gig career of church musician wasnt what i thought id be doing at this point in my life #but im glad to be gigging at the churches that i am bc there has been a surprising amount of support from everyone i work with #which i wouldnt have anticipated from the catholic and episcopal establishments #tho i never talk w the catholic parishioners 😅 so idk how they would take it. but the music staff is all very nice #and everyone at the episcopal church- music staff and congregation members alike- are all very respectful and kind #sometimes they mess up but genuinely i care about some of these old people so much and i know theres a genuine mutual care and respect #that it never bothers me anyways. #for someone who isnt religious at all. working at the church really has been a warm community of people. #all gripes aside bahaha #bas.txt #idk its also lovely that the episcopal church has been so flexible w it bc theyd already known me for a year when i changed my name socially #but i do think having leadership that is very openly embracing me and adjusting their language when speaking to the ensemble has #a significant impact on the mentality of the group as a whole #i didnt anticipate these tags being so rambly 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️ #could have just made this a whole ass text post. oh well 🧍‍♂️
