Description: the idea of soulmates are part of the many stories you’ve been told by your parents. the concept of this idyllic conditional love is one you’ve yet to expect and frankly, you may be fine never finding a partner with the many people who’ve disappointed you throughout your lifetime. well, that is what you thought before you started sharing lingering, fleeting, and ephemeral glances with the handsome consultant a few doors away from your family’s store. you can’t help but be drawn to his ethereal, almost celestial, beauty when you realise this is the same man you’ve seen in the murky dreams of your childhood. when you reach out to lower his hand and propose to pay for the meal you’ve shared together, instead of reassuring him that you’ll handle the bill, your hand instinctively finds itself in his. you flush and try to laugh it off but you are on the verge of succumbing to a wave of embarrassment as zhongli’s thumb tentatively and tenderly brushes over the back of your hand. slowly, your fingers intertwine. like they were always destined to be there together, like missing puzzle pieces finally fitting together. for once in your life, you feel complete. for once, you feel an overwhelming sensation consume you as the consultant warmly gazes at you with those glowing amber orbs.

POV: conqueror of demons is infatuated with you.

Description: your calming, serene presence makes his karmic debt dispel itself from reemerging onto his skin, his worry over hurting you with it dissolving into the recesses of his mind. on the rooftop of wangshu inn, you lean further into his warmth as the cold night breeze bites into your skin. upon seeing the way your shoulders shudder as you shiver, he brings you into his being. the action settles the thoughts racing in his mind and the restless worries that normally cloud his head this time of night. your hand is warm in his and now the only thing he can bring himself to worry about is whether you can feel his heartbeat, thundering in his chest, with the way you're laying against him. 

YELAN

POV: you and the valley orchid are more than just "business partners" ❤

Description: being of noble birth, you’re starting to get tired of the cushy and constraining life your parents have set out for you. you don’t know how to feel about your betrothed, neither the responsibilities laid out before you in the next coming years. it was unexpected when you encountered the mysterious and enigmatic valley orchid during an evening stroll outside of your estate. what was even more astounding was the suspicious offer she put forward, admitting she’s witnessed the strength you possess during the night prowls you regularly embark on (ones you thought were inconspicuous enough). she offers you a job (of sorts, you aren’t exactly sure how you’re getting paid) to target certain known individuals for the ministry of civil affairs. you’re pretty sure what you’re doing is illegal, but with every rule’s she’s broken in your book, she’s a criminal. one who’s extracted the truth from unfortunate individuals in immoral ways, dirtied her immaculate hands with the blood of the tainted and knows every way to best you. yet another crime on top of those is undeniably stealing your heart. you just hope she doesn’t steal the vestiges of your wavering dignity tonight as she corners you in the depths of your family’s estate. well, it’s not like you mind. you’re starting to lose track of the many firsts she’s taken from you (firsts she definitely doesn’t want your betrothed to take before she does, stimulating her competitive spirit). nevertheless, you desperately hope she takes another with the way she stares you down like your her latest prey under the glow of the moonlight and the intoxicating kiss she presses against your lips, leaving you breathless under her touch. 

CHILDE

POV: analysing the enigmatic 11th fatui harbinger, tartaglia

Genre: kpop/jpop, duality, energetic, dark 

Description: even within his internal conflict, he longs to bask in your presence like a moth drawn to a flame, a lonely ship guided by a lighthouse, a sunflower leaning towards the sun. but he can’t, he tells himself. he can’t succumb to his selfish desires and pull you into his world of devious activities conducted in the cover of midnight or the pain of ever learning of his true form. he can’t love you because that’s selfish of him. he can’t put you in danger because of what he does day in and day out. because his love burns brightly within his chest, he’s willing to burn his entire existence from your mind so you can forget him. but he’s just ajax - a selfish boy with selfish desires. he can’t help but gravitate to you. he can’t help that he wants you - in more ways than one. so how can he resist when you offer yourself so willingly to someone like him. surely you know the consequences, right? but maybe the risks are the last thing on his mind as he descends into you like a wave crashing onto a shore. drowning you fully in him and his pleasure.

Description: you follow wanderer on his travels, witnessing how he navigates the world with his new identity, traverses the planes of his newfound persona, and explores the inner-workings of his being with you by his side. although, at times, that other side of him shows. it’s rare but you do sometimes catch glimpses of the fearsome, manipulative and calculating balladeer resurface from the calm and playful exterior he puts up in front of you and the other people you encounter along your travels. regardless of the different sides he possesses, you’re ready to give up everything for him, sacrifice yourself to give him the life he deserves. you'd even kill. this is something you realise as you both stand over the bodies of your enemies, weapons in hand, residual elemental energy tinkling at your fingertips. By his side, you’ll venture the world together and explore his ever persona, until he finds a version of himself he’s most comfortable.

DILUC RAGNVINDR

POV: celebrating your birthday with your beloved, diluc ragnvindr

Genre: kpop, birthday-themed

Description: in the bustling tavern, the smile that splits across your face aches with how much fun you’re having surrounded by your companions in the warmth of the angel’s share. as per your request, diluc has reserved the entire place to celebrate this joyous occasion with the key figures of the knights of favonius you’ve befriended (and distastefully, he recalls, a certain cavalry captain but let’s not forget the troublesome bard you’ve invited and is indulging in the complimentary bottles of dandelion wine that line the grand table). for once, he feels his lips quirk ever so slightly as your laughter tinkles in his ears and your joy fills him with an unbridled sense of happiness. as the hosts of the party, you both find yourselves behind the bar to refill drinks and place more food platters onto the table. playfully, you bump your hips into his before pressing a chaste kiss against his cheek. you’re flushed by how much fun you’re having and he loves how it looks on you. alongside that, you’re excited to finally go back home to the dawn winery with your beloved to finally open your present. after all he’s wrapped up so nicely in the new outfit he’s commissioned, draped in a rich crimson and adorning silver chains and embellishments. the least you can do to unravel it all. it’s your birthday day after all. anything you says goes, right? even if it was unspoken, he can guess the wish you made as you blew out your candles. he will do everything in his being to make that wish come true and so much more. before fulfilling this however, he’ll spell out his affections for you against your skin. he’ll await your every command tonight. it’s your special day after all, just say the words and he’s all yours. 

LISA MINCI

POV: the partner of the knights of favonius' head librarian

Genre: kpop/jpop, soft, romantic, chill, implied wlw

Description: in the comfort of your arms, you and your partner find yourselves lazing on the window seat of your shared abode, basking in the sun that streams across your languid forms and illuminates the woman dozing against your chest. you aren’t used to this slow pace she’s used to. in contrast, your busy lifestyle means you aren’t able to enjoy tranquil, quiet moments like these very often. however, every time you come home to visit your darling, she always makes it a point to drag you into a small cosy nook in your house or the library to have a cat nap with her. she makes it her responsibility for you to relax whenever you’re with her (though you’re aware it’s mainly because she knows this is the only way you’ll condone her constant lethargy). you chuckle at her languor as she nestles herself into you, making sure she’s comfortable against her human pillow. gently, you place a tender kiss against her forehead. you hope that simple gesture blesses her dreams with the way she smiles in her sleep instantly after it. maybe, you think as you surrender to the fatigue that sinks into your body, you could get used to these lazy afternoons with your beloved.

POV: the crimson witch's faithful lover

Description: faithfully, you stand by her side, conquering the world together and witnessing how she makes it bend to her will. you relish every second you spend alongside her. even if she initially stated that you’re only a valuable asset she could not afford to lose, a vessel of great power to assist her in carrying out her grand plans, a partner (in the strictly working sense) to help her achieve the aims given to her by the great tsaritsa, but you know it’s so much more than that. it’s so much more than what you ever thought it could be - if the red marks across your neck and the crimson lip stains that adorn your pulse point are anything to go by. whatever you have with her goes well beyond the working relationship you started of with. it’s because of this ambiguity that you relish in the masqueraded dance you share upon a bloodied battlefield of crystalline flowers, flittering moths, and fallen bodies. although you dutifully serve the tsaritsa, you loyally obey signora’s every word. 

KAVEH

POV: the renowned sumeru architect (not so) secretly adores you.

Description: pressing a kiss against the nape of his neck, you carefully tug free the silky blond locks secured by the rouge ribbon he’s tied into his hair. you pull away to catch him stir from his abrupt nap atop his work desk once again, murmuring nonsensical mutterings into the arms he’s propped his head on and snuggling into the large sheets of drawings and calculations beneath him. you hope he isn’t drooling onto the plans he’s worked so painstakingly on as you gather his curled form into your arms to carry him into his bedroom. just as you tuck his head into your chest and secure your hold on his lithe frame, you catch a glimpse of kaveh’s personal notebook sprawled onto the table. the little remarks that line the margins of the pages makes you chuckle but you stop to admire the graphite depictions of yourself that litter the next page. planting another kiss onto the crown of his head, you begin to exit the study room. to kaveh, you’re his muse, his inspiration and his purpose. he dreams of capturing your beauty in every medium, he wants to portray your every single feature, which he adores you so much for, and he aspires to paint his undying love into your being. although, the latter is an issue for another night. at least in his dreams, he is able to do the same. perhaps, when he isn’t too busy with his projects, he’ll turn those dreams into reality.

Izumi picked a suit out for you “for closet diversity” on your birthday, you thought you would never wear it. Turns out he knew what he was doing! The suit was well tailored, so you had no problems putting on by yourself. It was so nice to finally wear the reason Izumi kept randomly measuring you… it was kind of weird. You were so excited you didn’t even think about the possibility of being overdressed.

You both settled on a nice restaurant to go to, but even then she could not keep her eyes off of you. The whole time she had a rosy energy about her that you couldn’t help but share. After dinner, you thought you would take some pictures since you both looked so nice! Arashi, with her baby blue three-piece pant suit, and you in your fancy suit… I mean come on who wouldn’t want a picture?

Arashi wanted a very specific kind of picture for herself though. After you got your nice post-worthy shots, she pulled you by the tie and asked a silly little question.

“You don’t mind if I dirty your collar a bit, right?”

You, who was none the wiser to her mischief, said of course not! Of course you didn’t mind, you could just wash it off right?

Then Miss Arashi Narukami, giggling to herself all the while, landed a bunch of red lipstick kisses all over your face! Not just that, she got a couple on your neck and collar. Red lipstick! You’re either gonna have great time washing that out or just never wear it again… but I mean is that so bad? Maybe, depending on who you are. (Izumi will not be happy.)

Note: Woah, I’m doing enstars now? I like enstars but I don’t know much about the characters, so I don’t write them but I do want to. This is my first shot at writing enstars so if I mischaracterize them, I’m sorry! The knights are my favorite unit so I know a lot more about them than the others, maybe I’ll do more in the future? Probably not much, I’m mainly writing Twisted wonderland.

Izumi Sena

He thought you were just clumsy at first. He harshly scolded you for being such a clutz while still reluctantly helping you up. He actually ended up catching you once like the knight he is!

He noticed how you daze out and stumble very often. You brush it off as nothing but you don’t even look him directly in the eyes, staring right next to him. You also seem very faint at times and you prefer to sit but even then, you’re almost falling off your chair.

One time he made attempt to do the choreography to one of their songs, did not end well. You fell mid spin and didn’t bother getting back up simply to spite him.

He soon found out that it was a condition you had. And with that, he’s gonna be looking out for you 24/7. He can’t have his producer falling all over the place. He makes sure that you’re getting treatment and he’s not scolding you about it anymore.

If he sees any signs of you about to stumble over, he’s grabbing your shoulders and holding you up straight. Sometimes he’s too late and he has to lift you up, much to your protests.

Arashi Narukami

She knew there was something unusual when you tripped everyday without any reason. It could be a completely flat floor without anything to trip on and you still end up on the ground.

She always keeps an eye on you while you’re standing off to the side. She insisted on taking you to the nurse’s office because of how sick you looked at random times, but you always deny her help. She’s always ready to catch you before you fall, but sometimes she is too late… she’s willing to be a figure to lean on if needed.

She’s seen you attempt to do some of the dances they do and it’s sad yet adorable how much you trip and stumble over your own feet.

It didn’t really surprise her when you told her it was a condition. She knows it’s out of your control and is always wanting to help. She suggests treatment if you’re not already getting it.

She often somewhat forces you to lean on her, or her just holding you up right. It’s rather funny to watch in another perspective.

Leo Tsukinaga

He’s always playfully chiding you for your bad balance. You fall very often, he’s come to expect you to fall sometimes. But he’s always the first one to help you up.

He actually thinks it’s quite cute. But it’s abnormal how much you fall. It worries him a bit, bad balance is never exactly a good thing. He insists that it's probably something more than just bad balance and he was right.

He’s against you trying to do the choreography or dance in general, knowing you’ll immediately fall over and hurt yourself. Yells at anyone that suggests you dance.

He claims “he knew it” when you told him your condition. He really hopes for you to get better seeing how often you get hurt because of your condition.

He’s caught you many times, more times than he can count on his hands. He forces you to sit down during practices so he doesn’t have to worry about you falling.

Tsukasa Suou

He’s the first one to note how much you fell. There was something more than just falling too. You looked dazed out and even nauseous at times where you were simply sitting down. He checked up on you when you looked sick.

He’s definitely caught you right before you lost your balance or before you hit the ground the most out of all the Knights. He can tell when you stumble or start wobbling a bit.

He greatly suggests you don’t try their choreography for any of their songs. He doesn’t wish to see you fall and fail so miserably.

He wasn’t very surprised by the fact it was a condition either. He makes sure you’re getting the correct treatment from the right people, and continues looking out for you.

He stands behind you and pulls you back to put your body weight against him while holding your wrist. He’s very thoughtful and always wanting to help.

Ritsu Sakuma

He observed you as you leaned against the wall or sat down. He assumed you were just a bit lazy but it was more than that. He would silently cackle to himself everytime you tripped and the others leaped to save you, if they didn’t make it in time then they would help you up.

He makes small comments about it, not in a mocking way but just pointing out how dazed out looked or how much you fell. He agreed with Tsukinaga that it was most likely more than just bad balance or laziness.

He’s someone that encourages you to dance, for entertainment. He’ll persuade you then comfort you when you fall over and sulk.

Of course, he was correct. He knows you’re getting good treatment so he doesn’t bud in or try to help you that much, he still cares but he knows the others got it. He also gets similar symptoms as you do he understands how it is.

He uses it as an excuse to pull you away from whatever you’re doing and snuggle up next to you. Oh what is he doing? He’s just helping you stay up right! (Even though he’s almost dragging you down). He likes to lay down with you since he doesn’t have to worry about you tripping while also being close to you.

(It’s been raining non-stop recently. Is this what they call the rainy reason? It’s been quite some time since I first started living in this country, but I can never get used to the difference in climate.)

(I don’t mind the hot or the cold but the stark differences between the two countries always catches me by surprise.)

(Does that mean I have yet to fundamentally acclimate to this country?)

Mitsuru: –Habucchon!?

Adonis: Are you all right, Tenma!?

That was quite a fall. Oh no, now you’re covered in mud.

Please tell me about the psekai enstars headcanons I need to hear them!!

Ok well to begin these hcs mostly center around my blorbos

My favorite one is arashi and Mizuki are online friends. They both have a lot of common interests and also are the token idol game transfem and I think their personalities would work well together, so I just think they’d get along well. Mizuki doesn’t know arashi is arashi narukami for awhile but eventually figured it out. Afterwards they meet up in person sometimes to go shopping and go to cafes. Their cameras are full of so many selfies with each other. Mizuki thinks the way arashi is so careful about her appearance and loves taking pictures reminds them a lot of ena. On one occasion Mizuki introduces her to the rest of 25ji and arashi thinks kanade reminds her of Leo, and she says as much. Kanade says she’d love to meet another “genius composer” so arashi gets them together. And their brains work on levels normal people can’t understand and maybe bust out a whole collab song in the time they’re together.

Next is tsukasa and emu. I think sometimes the suous and otoris would get together for parties and things like that when they were kids (usually tori was there too) and emu LOVED tsukasa. Obviously she and tori got along better but it was her favorite thing as a kid to do things to make tsukasa laugh or smile. Eventually their families stopped having reasons to see each other but emu still held tsukasa very close to her heart, and then when the suous start working in the entertainment industry, the two families begin working together more. Eventually the otoris ask to use one of the stages the suous are in charge of for a wxs performance and they agree. Tsukasa is put in charge of running things for it. Emu is so excited to see him again and his first thought is that she hasn’t changed a bit since they were kids. There is a bit of name confusion due to there being two tsukasas present at the time but it’s quickly fixed due to emus nicknaming. The two of them have a very similar friendship to torikasa and sorakasa combined.

Another one is Hajime and kohane. They are like. The same. So therefore I think they’re besties. I think they grew up in the same neighborhood and would play together a lot. They don’t live in the same one anymore, as Hajime had to move to a cheaper one, but they’re still very close. Hajime really wants to see one of kohanes lives, but is so busy that it’s hard. He’s extremely proud of her and looks up to her and wishes he could gain the same confidence that she did. By extension, Hajime is also acquainted with Minori and eventually the other members of VBS. If I’m in the mood for a crack au, I replace kohane with Hajime in vbs. This also ties into my next one…

Which is the tenma siblings times 3!! In which I decided. Yeah fuck it why not? Mitsuru is the middle kid of the tenma family, with him and saki being twins and saki being the younger one. Mitsuru is like the opposite of saki, extremely energetic and 100% healthy and never gets sick. He also cares greatly for his sister, just like tsukasa, but isn’t quite as doting. Tsukasa also dotes on mitsuru but not quite as much as with saki. All three of them get along extremely well and have a strong caring relationship. This also means that Mitsuru is childhood friends with Toya, so when they don’t have work, he and Hajime will try and go to vbs lives together.

Arashi and Izumi are also quite familiar with Shizuku, having done modeling work with her in the past. Izumi thinks she’s a complete airhead and gets frequently impatient with her, but still thinks of her as a good acquaintance. Arashi on the other hand is great friends with her and they get along well. Arashi loves whenever they get to work together and Shizuku always has beauty tips for her. This could also lead to a potential MMJ and knights collab.

I think Ritsu and toya also knew each other in childhood. I think Ritsu learned piano from toyas father, and thus toya was frequently over at their place. Both of them were quiet so they didn’t do much talking with each other, but liked to sit in each other’s presence a lot. They lost contact as they grew up, but sometimes they still think about each other and wonder what happened to the other.

I’ve occasionally dabbled with the idea that arashi and the tenma siblings played at the same playground a lot as children and were playground partners. Sometimes arashi visited their house. When saki got sick they stopped coming to the playground and whenever arashi went to their house no one was home, so she never learned what happened to them. When she meets Mitsuru again however, her worries and wonderings are eased, and she gets to reunite with them.

I also think midori and akito were in the same class for all three years of middle school. They hated each other but midori liked toya.

Years passed, and Mika graduated. He managed to become a detective. And Nami was there, witnessing his process from zero. Helping him in the process.

"Nami-chan, can I bring my friend?"

"Sure."

Another mistake she made. Let Mika's friends come over.

She ran the flower shop for who knows how many years, and to be honest, it felt lonely. Having Mika visit her almost daily, she started to forget the feeling of loneliness. And when Mika brought over his friend, the emotion of loneliness was gone and replaced with such a warm feeling.

She started to get along with his friend. Especially the one who came with him for the first time, Narukami Arashi. Both of them got along very well. Aside from Arashi, Yuuki Makoto and Saegusa Ibara also got along with her.

And then HiMERU. A man who is a mystery to her. She often met with him but barely knew anything about him besides his name and occupation. His deduction skill was top-tier, and she felt intimidated. She wanted to tell Mika that she was unconfrontable with HiMERU but looking at how close they were, made Nami cancel the intention.

It was another mistake that she didn't do anything about HiMERU.

"Nami-chan," He called softly. "Are ya busy for tomorrow?"

Nami shook her head. "No, why?"

Mika played with his finger, looking down because he was too shy to face her. "Nnn… yanno, tomorrow's m'birthday… I want t'spend it with ya. I want t'be with Nami-chan all day tomorrow, so…"

"Oh…" She scratched her not-itchy neck nervously. "I mean, yeah, sure. I don't have anything to do tomorrow, so why not?"

Mika hummed. "Oh, 'kay… Um…"

"Anything else?"

"Can I get a hug as an early gift…?" He asked so politely.

Nami struggled to hold back her smile. She immediately looked away, covering half of her face.

Without saying anything, she hugged the younger one. She patted Mika's head before pulling away. "There you go. I'll give you more hugs tomorrow, yeah?"

And with that said, Mika walked away from her porch. She waved at him until his figure was gone from her sight. She exhaled deeply before going inside, then closed the door behind her, looking at the living room where one guest was still there.

"So, HiMERU, what do you want?" She asked, approaching the blue-haired male who was busy drinking his tea.

"Ah, before that, can HiMERU get a refill?"

Nami just hummed in response. She went to the kitchen and got the boiling pot from the stove. She then went back to the living room then refilled HiMERU's cup.

"What were you wanted to say earlier before Mika came?"

HiMERU picked up his cup. "Nami-san, what's your thought about Kagehira-san?"

Nami side-glanced at the blue-haired male. "He's a nice and sweet one. He's a hard worker too. Sometimes, he pushed himself too hard. That kid needs a decent rest, to be honest."

HiMERU hummed, agreeing with her statements. "Then, do you love him?"

His second question made Nami perplexed. "Love is a strong word. I can't say I love him, but I care about him. If possible, I try to avoid hurting him in any way possible. Why do you ask?"

There was a long silence before HiMERU replied. "Nami-san, your words somehow contradict your actions. Don't you feel guilty?"

Nami, who stood slightly behind him, stopped her movement. She was caught off guard by HiMERU's words.

"As someone who murdered his family by herself. Nami-san, do you know how hard he's trying to find his parents' murderer?"

Nami scoffed. "What? Where the fuck does this come from? That's a heavy accusation, HiMERU."

Without looking back at her, HiMERU replied calmly. "It's pretty easy, Nami-san. You blew your own cover." Nami didn't answer. "To think Kagehira-san's very fond of you… Don't you think that's-"

A loud thud interrupted his speech. Nami hit his head with the hot pot in her hand, causing him to be unconscious in one hit. Her breathing was ragged as she tried her best to not kill the man in front of her with one strike.

She took a few steps away from the unconscious body and then realized a sharp pain on her side. She checked it and saw a pocket knife stabbed right into her side. The cut was shallow, but it still hurt. "This bastard… predicted everything, huh? How scary."

She pulled out the knife immediately and then threw it away.

I have to leave this place.

Nami went to grab her jacket and left her house, not caring about her bleeding abdomen and the people who gave her weird stares. She managed to get to the train station even in limping state. When she was about to get on the last train, she saw the clock.

It's almost midnight…

And right at that moment, she remembered Mika's birthday. She thought about it for a while before deciding. So what did she do? Making another mistake. She went to Mika's place.

Mika woke up in the middle of the night after hearing his front door loudly banging. He got up from his bed and went to the front door. Mika didn't bother to peek from the peephole. Mika turned back to her, and Nami started calming down.

"Glad I made it." She said, making the younger one confused. Nami grabbed him by his face, holding it gently with her shaky hands. "Mika, sorry. I have plans for today, so I'll say it here."

Mika didn't say anything. He was more worried and terrified about why her hands were wet and smelled rusty, like blood.

"Mika, happy birthday." She exhaled deeply before continuing. "Sorry, I-."

Before she finished her sentence, her body fell to him like a lifeless body.

"Huh? What 'r ya tryin' t'say, Nami-chan?"

Mika tried to shake her body, but nothing happened. He tried it a few times before realizing a red puddle had formed around him. He was horrified the moment he saw her head bleeding.

She got shot…! B-but, when!?

"N-no… Nami-chan…? C'mon, wake up." Mika's hands were beyond shaking.

Mika tried to shake her body again, hoping the older one was just pranking him.

tsumugi aoba: 19, dendro catalyst, inazuma. isn’t actively involved in the resistance, but isn’t super shy about his support for them either. simply trying to live life and right the wrongs of the past after assisting one eichi tenshouin in causing trouble for many unfortunate souls. still possesses his vision, though since he does not have a fake, he often leaves it hidden.

kohaku oukawa: 16, electro sword, inazuma. hails from a family of assassins that serve the main suou family, who in turn serve baal as prominent members of the bakufu. kohaku decided to make his escape from his family after his cousin and the sole heir to the suou family, tsukasa, did the same and left for mondstadt. however, kohaku remains in inazuma and still works as an assassin, though on his own rather than for the family. eventually met madara mikejima and formed double face, vigilante pair working in the udnerworld, with him. also an active member of the resistance against baal. still possesses his vision and wears it openly.

adonis otogari: 18, pyro sword, natlan. a wanderer traveling all across teyvat, for he found no love in the warrior lifestyle of his home in natlan. at present, he is staying in mondstadt, but he never stays in one place for more than a few days, wishing to explore everything each nation has to offer.

mika kagehira: 18, cryo catalyst, fontaine. a performer in fontaine’s traveling circus, known for their mismatched eyes, their skills lie in dance, acrobatics, and contortion, and they are known to employ their cryo skills in performance as well. nicknamed “the marionette”  for their peculiar aesthetics and their style of movement in their contortion acts.

kuro kiryu: 19, pyro claymore, inazuma. once a delinquent and a rebel leading a ragtag group of anti-baal delinquents long before the vision hunt decree began, kuro and his friends were caught and brought in by the bakufu, originally to be executed. however, keito, another friend of kuro’s, persuaded baal that kuro would be an asset to them in order to bargain for his life. in return for kuro’s power and skill serving the bakufu as one of their own, the lives of him and his friends would be spared. to this day he serves as a member of the bakufu, though he has secretly supported the resistance behind the scenes since the vision hunt decree began. still possesses his vision and is able to wear it openly as part of the bakufu.

shinobu sengoku: 17, electro bow, inazuma. also hailing from a family that has served baal for generations, shinobu has recently begun to be deployed on the field as a member of the bakufu. however, he has no love for the tyrant their archon has become, and secretly (but desperately) searches for an escape from the bakufu, hoping to support and fight for the resistance instead. still possesses his vision and is able to wear it openly as part of the bakufu.

ritsu sakuma: 19, cryo catalyst, mondstadt. originally from khaenri’ah, but while they weren’t cursed, they were put into a deep and long sleep when the gods attacked and destroyed the nation 500 years ago. they recently awoke from their slumber and set off on a search for their older sibling, rei, who they figure must have also survived. they ended up caught by a band of treasure hoarders who sought to kill the vampire, but one of their members betrayed the group to save them, and together they took off to mondstadt. after much convincing fron arashi, ritsu joined her in becoming a knight of favonius, still keeping up their search for their sibling all the while.

sora harukawa: 17, anemo catalyst, inazuma. an active member of the resistance who is often sent traveling across inazuma for its sake despite his young age. lives a ‘on the run’ kind of life, but thoroughly enjoys it and all he does for the resistance in hopes that he will get to see the vision hunt decree finally fall. still possesses his vision and wears it openly, but often hides tsumugi’s on his person as tsumugi entrusted him with it.

arashi narukami: 18, geo polearm, mondstadt. originally a treasure hoarder, she is the one who betrayed her group to protect and save ritsu from being executed when the rest of the group feared the vampiric creature. when the two escaped her former group, arashi brought up the idea of going to the city of mondstadt, and later the idea of joining the knights of favonius to begin anew. telling ritsu that it might help them find their sibling, the pair passed the trials together, and remain members of the knights to this day.

tatsumi kazehaya: 19, anemo sword, mondstadt. a priest in the church of favonius who was previously a fatui agent. he was a rather notorious one, recruited out of inazuma years ago, and he was known for being rather jaded and cruel in all that he did. however, it was his eventual work partner kaname that persuaded him to see that the fatui ultimately was no good and that there was more to life than dominion and control. so the two fled, and thought kaname suffered a terrible accident in the resulting fight, tatsumi was able to take them to the church of favonius where both were given refuge. he eventually became a priest there after devoting himself to the anemo archon, and remains such to this day.

mayoi ayase: 18, a fatui skirmisher, specifically a pyroslinger bracer. their family originally came from inazuma, but moved to mondstadt years ago as their parents sought to chase dreams of freedom and song and begrudgingly took their child, who they never treated well, along with them. mayoi was later one of the many children taken from mondstadt by the fatui, but unlike their comrades, mayoi survived all they went through. namely experimentation by dottore that turned them into the skirmisher they are now. to this day they serve him, though their fear of him is immense and they dream of escape back into the freedom their home stood for. alas, knowing they are barely human anymore, fear of not finding a place for them in this world (and a fear of retaliation in the event they’re caught) keep them rooted in place. also, unlike other skirmishers, mayoi does possess an electro delusion, even if as part of dottore’s recent experiment to see if skirmishers could handle additional elemental power.

kaname toujou: 18, hydro polearm, mondstadt. they were originally nothing more than a traveling bard under the name himeru, prominent and well-known in mondstadt and even, to a lesser extent, in neighboring nations. however, when finances grew tight, kaname ended up turning to the fatui for business aid, and in turn was forced to work for them in secret. they ended up partnered with tatsumi, a cruel and jaded man, but kaname eventually got through to him and made him see the fatui was hardly worth it. eventually the pair executed an escape plan, though kaname was severely injured in the process. while the rest of the world wrote them off as dead, tatsumi brought them with him to the church of favonius, where the pair was given refuge and kaname was eventually healed. kaname goes on to become a knight of favonius after their recovery, where they remain to this day.

tsukasa suou: 17, pyro sword, mondstadt. as mentioned, he came from a prominent noble family in inazuma known to support baal, with many of its members joining the bakufu. as the sole heir, it was expected that tsukasa would do the same. however, he grew furstrated with this way of life and the vision hunt decree, and thus fled inazuma as a whole. ending up in inazuma, he decided he would join the knights of favonius so he might protect people rather than oppress them as the bakufu would have expected him to do, and later successfully passed their trials to become a knight. after learning of his cousin kohaku’s move to do something similar and suspecting his involvement in the resistance brewing back home, tsukasa began landing financial support to him and the rest of the resistance as much as he could.

yoshiko tsushima: 16, cryo catalyst, inazuma. the daughter of a pair of traveling bards, yoshiko spent most of her childhood alone while her parents performed in other nations. however, when the vision hunt decree began, it was decided all three would flee to find refuge in mondstadt. unfortunately, they were caught by the bakufu, and a scuffle ensued that killed both of her parents when they tried to take back all three visions. yoshiko fled at her mother’s behest, but ended up not only losing part of her memories with her vision, but so traumatized that she assumed the identity of “yohane”, a fallen angel from another world cast from her home into teyvat as punishment for rising up against her god. yohane, seeing baal as just the same as the god she was defeated by, decided she would stay in teyvat to take her down as both a redemption for herself and a proving ground so that she might go home and try again on her god again someday. now she’s a prominent leader of the resistance, though she desperately hides from her peers the truth of her identity and circumstances. obviously, she no longer possesses her vision, but trains with a sword to remain a fighter.

umi sonoda: 17, hydro bow, inazuma. daughter of the noble sonoda family and the sole heir to the sonoda trade association (basically the inazuma equivalent of the feiyun commerce guild), umi grew discontent with her family’s support and aid in the vision hunt decree, as well as that state of inazuma overall. however, since she had not yet assumed the power over the trade association, umi had to seek other means to help the people. to do so, she began to set out at night in a mask and change of clothes, tracking the bakufu’s movements and preventing their acquisition of visions where possible. she also guided fleeing citizens to the crux after striking a deal with its captain, beidou, to take refugees across teyvat for their protection. all of this earned her the title of a “hero”, who was dubbed “aoi” simply for her blue color scheme. umi, however, vehemently denied the title of a hero and tried to prevent any attention begin drawn to her, but to no avail. she was eventually caught and captured, but was saved by members of the resistances before her vision could be taken and she herself executed. from then on, because her family officially disowned her when she was revealed as aoi, umi began to work as an active member of the resistance. still possesses her vision due to the interference of resistance members, but keeps it hidden on her person at all costs.
