what are your opinions on d.i.d systems/ do you know what d.i.d systems are?

I do know what DID systems are, I don't know a lot about the specifics because psychology really isn't my thing, but from what I do know, I feel that the psychological profession is a bit behind in their understanding of the disorder so I try my best to seek out the lived experiences of people with DID and listen to their voices. my opinion on them is that they're people and that unfortunately, it is one of those psychological conditions that have been vilified by pop culture and society when the reality is that it's a difficult disorder to live with and people who live with it are more likely to be harmed by others than they are to harm anyone else

That book was the catalyst in me actively searching out queer stories when I was 16. I personally didn't even know it was a queer coming of age story until I finished it. It's still one of my fave queer books.
