Midt i arbejdet med at rive orangeriet ned og bygge platform til Solarium, fik fruen den ide at bygge en bænk, på den lille gårdsplads vi får til solariummet.

Det blev med et par fyldningsdører som vi har haft stående i evighedder, det var nemlige dem min smukke dejlige viv kom ind igennem da vi blev viet i baghaven. Jeg ku ikke smide dem ud, men nu er de blevet bænk med en vin op af siden og hen over buen over dørene.

Bagsiden er et buet rianet og her stå en stor pationsblomst, et minde fra fruens barndom, hos bedsteforældrene.

Nu skal vi lige have fikset de sidste detaljer og sat lidt karm på vindue i skuret osv, så bliver det en helt vidunderlig hyggekrog.

august: what was the worst thing you’ve ever experienced?

i was in a semi-terrible car accident in september of 2015. i was driving home from school and someone pulled out in front of me and went to turn left, and i ended up t-boning them. it was terrifying and scary and i never want to go through that again. (everyone ended up being physically okay afterwards; it was her fault so she got charged, but i was emotionally damaged afterwards, and still kind of am.)

Besides 'pretty', 'pæn' also means handsome, beautiful, attractive, neat, fine, etc. It's not as restrictive as 'pretty' is. :)
