For the longest time I bought the cheapest art supplies I could, only to find that when you invest in the quality supplies, your work transforms. From higher pigment colors to paper that works with your water (not against it) and allows you to create new techniques you didn't know existed for yourself. What I'm learning (*and still learnings) is to invest in yourself. To believe that you're worth the time/money/energy. I'm a saver, I worry about money, and I'm learning to let that go in hopes that something more serving will flow. Ostatnio było mnie tutaj bardzo mało i mogłabym napisać, że to przez nadmiar zajęć ale szczerze? Chyba po prostu byłam niesamowicie zmęczona social mediami. Wiele myśli w tym czasie przelatywało przez moją głowę i sporo się zmieniało w moim sercu, umyśle i duszy. Miałam wiele przemyśleń o których nie chciałam tutaj pisać a o innych rzeczach jakoś też nie umiałam. Obiecałam też sobie, że nie będę tutaj dodawać postów na temat "procesu dekady" a to właśnie nim w dużym stopniu żyłam przez ostatnie tygodnie. . Ten detoks naprawdę mi się przydał i przyniósł sporo dobrego. A little tangent from travel ❤️ …………………………… It’s been a very interesting few weeks. I had to step away a bit to focus on work. I’m sure most of you know the Fall period is crunch time for a lot of industries, including mine - which is the Pharmaceutical industry. My journey through my postdoctoral fellowship with Johnson & Johnson is soon coming to an end. I have never been more grateful for the opportunities and connections I have been able to have through this experience. No matter what it is I have ever done, be it music 🎶 , medicine 💊 , or travel 🧳 , the ultimate goal for me has always been impact. It’s so important for me to be proud of the work I do and know that I helped someone in any kind of way. When you can measure your level of impact, know that you’ve done a world of good. It doesn’t even seem real that this chapter is soon coming to a close, but I’m so appreciative of the personal and professional development that has come out of this. In my opinion, we will always find someone to love us, it doesn’t matter where we go, where we are it is bound to happen ! But issue lies with us, if we want to reciprocate the love that we receive… I know for a fact that I rejected people who genuinely loved me for people who just wanted to use me … and then be depressed about it!! Enough I am ready to give out the love that I receive, every one is deserving of it !

This Valentine's day I want to learn to love myself as much as this man loves me. To see the beauty he sees even when I have toothpaste all over my face (a great trick for healing zits). ♥️ I'm loving the creative spirit I've always had but never think is good enough. 🖤 I'm loving the skin I'm still trying to clear up after 3-years of adult acne. ♥️ I'm loving the body that takes me places, helps me move, and allows me to create, even though I often feel like we're at war with each other (but have to remember we’re not) 🖤 I'm loving the quiet voice of my heart that I often shut out in order to listen to my brain. She's wiser than I (or brain) give her credit for. ♥️ Most importantly I'm loving myself for everything I am, everything I'm not. The light side, the dark side, and all the in-between. I'll never be perfect nor will I live up to everyone else's expectation but if I could love myself the way that I know my husband loves me, I think this world would be a much more beautiful place...at least through my eyes.
