How about “today I’m marrying the person who laughs at my NSFW jokes.” What else is quiet? An empty orchestra room? The bottom of an ocean? What does being a hard worker look like? Hours worked? Big projects? Going back to school part time with 2 kids and a mortgage in tow? You can start with cliches, but if you want your writing to feel more *you*, get specific.
