NO WAY. The Sailor Moon live-action and anime universes are colliding!
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos's 2nd Movie has Kitagawa Keiko (PGSM Hino Rei/Sailor Mars) cast for the voice of Sailor Cosmos - Sailor Moon’s final and ultimate form in the distant future!
Keiko made a Twitter post about several fun facts regarding this occasion.
1. Keiko gets to work with Mitsuishi Kotono again, and Keiko calls their meeting a "miracle romance"!
Mitsuishi Kotono is well known for voicing Usagi/Moon in the 90’s anime, as well as in Sailor Moon Crystal, Eternal and now in Cosmos, as Usagi/Moon and Chibi Chibi. Keiko got to work with her in the TV Series Rikokatsu (2021), where Kotono played Keiko’s character’s mother.
2. As part of the film's cast greeting event (in Japanese it's called stage greeting) where Keiko's casting was announced, she also participated in an interview in the exact same room where she auditioned for her live-action role 20 years ago! How phenomenal is that?!!!!

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos’s 2nd part will release in Japanese theatres on June 30th, 2023, on Usagi and ChibiUsa's birthday!

wait geats was shida's second foray into toku????
yep! she was in the 2021 tokusatsu "girl gun lady", though she had a only has a minor role (episodes 9-10).
from what i've seen/read, the series is about a high school student who gets roped into a "deathmatch game" and must play against the students of her school. to do so, she uses a gun made from a plastic model kit. these model kits were sold in tandem with the show.
a bit of the geats cast have had previous tokusatsu roles
tsumuri's actress played alice hiromi in a GARO series
ziin's actor played shotaro ishinamori in super hero senki and my favorite role "boy saved by hino eiji" /j
girori's actor played emperor maya in wizard's magic land movie

Show fact of the day since I’m crazy as hell
Kamen Rider OOO 10th Anniversary Movie was released back in March 12, 2022 then days after that. A show that has been there since 1999, and Shu Watanabe (Eiji Hino’s actor) was in (for 5 years, starting S17 New Years Special) announces an episode featuring Ryosuke Miura (Ankh’s actor)
I will explain the whole shenanigans on what this show is about...
The episode itself announces with Rota Hashiguchi (played by Shu Watanabe) having a backstory which relates to both this episode and his departure
And as for Ankh, his name is Michiru Rei, a school support staff as what Rota’s elementary teacher defines him. Like Rota, he also has a backstory but it was related to its crime scene.
Ngl this episode made me emotional omg, Rota has a final character development before he was gone.
Edit: When I said his final development, only in this season. As for ep, he was gone during its final episode (episode 18)

Shishigumi and the first snow of the year?
SHISHIGUMI’S FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR
My first winter-themed ask! Admittedly, we don't get snow where I live, so hopefully you like what I made!
I decided to put this into the "suburban au"; just so these headcanons didn't wind up being too similar to each other. Enjoy!

General Headcanons
I feel like living in the Black Market requires that you live in the moment — there's very little time to just sit and enjoy the snow (or any other weather, for that matter).
At the same time, the Black Market’s residents feel an odd sense of camarderie with the first snowfall.
There is something about seeing something so beautiful in the most desolate of places that brings out the philosopher in people.
It's not uncommon at all to spy neighbours gathered on the front steps of their flats, drinking cheap beer and swapping stories of first snowfalls past.
Ibuki
It’s tempting for him to view the first snow of the year as some sort of symbolic occurrence — with the white snow covering up even the most despicable of places — but he averts that expectation by treating the first snow of the year as just that.
Growing up in the Black Market meant that certain frivolities have missed him: a fascination and reverence for the first snowfall of winter included.
If he starts applying any real significance to the first snowfall, it’ll be due to someone else’s influence.
Dolph
It's just another day to him.
Same with Ibuki, he doesn't hold the first snowfall as any special event.
Unlike Ibuki, though, Doloh’s opinion is unlikely to change.
This being said, Dolph knows that Agata looks forward to it, and subtly encourages Agata to go out and enjoy himself.

Free
He hates the snow.
Snow means that it gets colder, and the first snowfall is a terrible reminder that winter will be arriving soon.
Expect a very annoyed Free stalking about your place, shooting glares out the window.
In his defense, most felines dislike the cold — he's only following his instincts.
(You will need to fight him for the warm blankets.)
Agata
When he was younger, he used to look forward to the first snowfall because it signalled the start of the Rexmas season.
Agata still looks forward to the first snow ... albeit for different reasons, now that he's an adult.
He really, really loves the Rexmas displays they have in the City Centre.
Trust that he’ll be gathering inspiration for his own Rexmas display.
He drags Dolph and Miguel along with him.
Hino
Hino takes out all of his vacation days so he can have enough time home to cover the Rexmas season.
Once he does, he basically goes into hibernation — you’re probably not seeing him until New Year’s.
Let him sleep; he’s tired, and he's earned it.
Jinma + Dope
Because I think it's funny, these two would be an unstoppable Rexmas shopping team.
They’ve been prepping for this shopping trip for months; analysing the best routes to take to avoid heavy foot traffic, finding where the best deals are, etc.!
The first snowfall is a pleasant distraction, but these two are more worried about whether they're getting a good value for their money.
Miguel
I imagine that he feels no particular way towards the first snowfall, although he takes great pleasure in hurling snowballs at the other lions (Agata because he's the youngest, and Free because Miguel knows he hates being cold + it's funny).
Absolutely loathes the non-stop Rexmas ads and music that play constantly.
Spends most of the winter trying to keep in shape.
Sabu
Of all the lions, he would be the most relaxed about it all.
He's too old for all that running around. Sometimes you just want to sit back, relax and take comfort in the fact that your house keeps out the cold.
Maybe Sabu would use the winter as an excuse to either pick up a new hobby, or refine an old one.
Either way, come springtime, Sabu will have something new to show for his efforts.

A relic of an older era.
For a brief time in the 1980s, Austral decided to set up shop in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington in order to expand their market outside of Australia.
Initially, they bodied fire appliances (of which a lone International ACCO remains in service as of 16/07) before building the Hi-decker 1 (HD1) and other bodies on MAN and Hino chassis.
The Aotearoa branch was wound up after a financial crisis, and the above bus [MAN 22.360/Austral-CWI HD1] was taken to Coachwork International's plant in Tāmiki Makaurau Auckland or possibly Te Papaioea Palmerston North and completed in 1992 for Bayline Group. This is unusual as 99% of the uncompleted bodies were taken to Designline.
It passed through Ritchies and McGrath's before ending up with Bethlehem Coachlines. In 2021, it was sold to its current owner, Bookabus Charters.
