My experience with batdr (with spoilers)

The first time I saw the game I was amazed by the game, not only the references to the original BATIM in scenarios and easter eggs but I liked the new look of everything, compared to the original 2017 batim the design gave an impression of old or something, not that be complaining I liked the new things the game proposed for us.

I really liked bendy and it will be difficult for me to accept that he is ink demon they are the same

But one of the things I liked is the mechanics of upgrading your weapon and its stats such as stamina, Flow and heart, I found it interesting that when you find those upgrade capsules you can increase your stat so you can relax in some parts of the gameplay and I also liked that when you get killed you are revived at checkpoint and we don't need to load to go back and redo everything.

The characters that I liked, whether secondary or main, are the Potter, Heidi, ink giant (the one who blocks the door inside the small town), maid betty and cartoon bendy, I loved Sammy's appearance in his cell and guy HENRY IS REAL i was super happy and shocked that finally the official design of henry stein was given to us, i'll admit i liked his design much (even) better than my qye i did on my old bendy artworks it turned out pretty cool.

One thing I liked and some didn't like so much is the ink demon talking, to be honest I liked it because he gave a mysterious and dark vibe on his side (unlike the original BATIM he didn't give a threatening tone he just walked around to look for his future victims), I liked the ink demon having a voice (as well as seducing me) I liked the animalistic and wild vibe they gave him and his design that he's really looking like a threat.

Some things I liked were mechanics and the game is not separated by chapters, but when you finish your objective, the supposed chapter appears in the corner of the screen when you enter the next room.

What I didn't like were some things that left me disappointed.

When the notice that the ink demon is close, he doesn't appear in the scenario with his ink aura alerted that he is here and leaving the wall and walking to look for his target, no he just disappears and you need to hide where he should be obliged to hide in the miraculous station, in the boxes, cabinets and barrels, and whether you hide in the tuto or pipe the warning will disappear but without the growl of the devil giving that false feeling that you are dark, ok I liked that but what it annoys me it's kind of unfair he gets you in impossible places like the ventilation tuto and how his spawn appears at the wrong times, like if you're walking in an empty corridor without barrels, cabinets, box and the miracle station and your hiding point is far away and you didn't save it back, fucked for you my friend the devil will get you, that didn't please me very much in terms of him taking the aura of paint around when you tell him he's coming and he appears in person to look for you, I hope better from that mainly some jumpscares some cool and others snoozing, I hope that if caught from the tuto and some jumpscare animations are bugs, but I feel that they are the same as the post game. Another thing I didn't like is that some won't like it if you play batdr for the first time is the spawn where it is is full of lost ones if you die too many times and be a mere impatient and not be stealf and use banish ability on top of the time until one of them from far or near to see is throwing items and having hit when you're escaped, that didn't please me very much.

My final conclusion of the game I loved and liked it, not only the expansion and references of the original BATIM and some things that have been fixed since the 2017 BATIM I had a passion for the game, I give the game 9.8, it could be better than me thought but i loved it hope you like it when you play it.

Seeing some debate on if in game henry being an ink version of him makes the time loops less evil and imo it makes it even MORE evil. He was given false memories of a life he never lived, been put through hell and back ever since creation and has no hope of any other purpose in the world. He was literally MADE to suffer. And he isn't even the henry that had left joey, just some replica he made to take his anger out on with no regards to that person's wellbeing

Just because he's made of ink doesn't mean he's any less alive. He still feels things, still has thoughts and opinions, still conscious, he is a living being. No, just because he isn't the real guy doesn't make it less cruel. Its just as, or even more so, a disgusting and evil thing to do to him

Linda laughed, spinning with Henry in the grass. a soft smile rested on her face, never wavering. a new, shiny engagement ring rested on her finger, their shared laughter echoing throughout the night. He held her close, his short blonde hair and sparkling brown eyes looking down at her as he showered her in love.

Henry lifted her once more, spinning her again.

Linda held onto Henry closely as they walked into the release of his newest cartoon- the debut of the studio’s newest character, Alice Angel- watching with an awe-inspired smile on her face. Many men and women waved to her Husband- congratulating him on his rising success at Joey Drew Studios. He waved back, thanking them all genuinely- always humble, Linda thought happily, watching as he lived his dream. he reached for her, pulling her closer as he told the crowd about her. Always loving, she waved to the crowd, who cheered for her. people snapped pictures, some chanting for them to kiss. Henry laughed, pulling Linda in close, placing a loving kiss on her lips.

Linda frowned, watching as the sun dipped past the horizon. Henry had left hours ago, to tell Joey he was leaving the studio. He promised to return by sundown at the latest, and he hadn’t walked back in; he hadn’t pulled her into his grasp, whispering words of love from his heart to her. Linda’s heart ached as she sat waiting for him to return, waiting to hear his tired voice speaking softly to her as he carried her to their shared bedroom- holding her as they drifted to sleep together.

Linda went to bed alone, aching for him.

Linda’s hands shook as she stared at the officers, their expressions somber. her hand rested on her pregnant belly, listening to their pitied apologies for her loss. her mind echoed with thoughts, as she felt her baby kick- as if recognizing it’s mother was distressed.

He was gone, they assumed, after a month of no leads in her Husbands missing case. We’re sorry for your loss, they told her, glancing at her belly. We tried our best to find him.

Linda closed the door, calmly thanking them for informing her. She sunk to the floor, her heart aching as she processed their words.

my name’s Audrey, she said. I found your husband.

Linda shook her head, laughing slightly. She told the young woman she must have the wrong house, that her husband died years ago. She tried closing the door, but a hand stopped it.

a new person came into view. Tired brown eyes smiled at her, catching her off guard. Her husband, several years older than the last time she saw him stood outside her small two bedroom house.

his soft, tired voice filled her ears, and she teared up.

“I’m home, Linda.” he said. “I love you.”

“This is your father, sweetie. remember the stories I told you about him?” The young girl grinned wide, jumping up and down, showing her father her book, excitedly explaining how she learned to draw his once iconic cartoon characters.

“I’m so happy you’re home!”

Joey knew about that truth, but Henry believed Joey's copy (memory) was the real Joey, who left everything in real world and stayed with him in another.

It hurt, but he couldn't leave him alone. He didn't want him to live with his loss all the time.

Edit: I forgot to mention this more of a personal opinion at best.

I like to remind everyone in the BATIM fandom that Bendy belongs to Henry, not Joey. Joey may brought him to life but the entire character was made by Henry. In Chapter 3 of BATIM, there's a secret audio log from Henry himself in the Sunken Room. This is what it says.

That character he was talking about is BENDY. Remember Joey steals the ideas/twists the ideas of his co-workers than do it himself. He may have used the Ink Machine to create the demon but Henry came up with the character. There is also this hidden message for added proof found after you beat BATIM and come back with the Seeing Tool. This can be found on the Demon Path in Chapter 3.

Bendy and the Ink Machine is canon to Bendy and the Dark Revival. You got to pay attention to what the characters say to pick apart what's true from the lies. Joey Drew is a liar who hides behind a fake cheery facade. You see this through the hidden messages such as 'Joey Lied To Us' near the 'The Creator Lied To Us'. There's also this audio log in Chapter 4 on the first floor of the maintenance area that shows the REAL Joey Drew.

Anyway, Bendy is a Stein than Drew. Joey just brought him to life using the Ink Machines but the original character himself never came from him. The Dancing Demon was made by Henry and twisted by Joey Drew's experiments plus abuse.

The protagonist of BATIM is a creator,based on a creator,and who was created by the creator's friend who is actually not a creator,and who thought he was the real creator. Never expected to use such phrase one day. (but it's the truth, tho)

Wanted to do something with canon Henry Stein. Because I like him a lot. This won't be the only drawing with him,that's for sure.

I had to change 1 thing from the original idea I had in mind while drawing this,but hey,it worked out anyway.
