I've been waiting for Part Two ever since I watched the end scene for Dune in 2021, and it DID NOT disappoint!  Part two was one of those movies where I felt like I needed to just process all I saw a few hours afterwards.  The story was told so well and with such care for the source material, and the visuals were absolutely stunning.  It's one of those movies (for me, at least) where it didn't feel nearly three hours long and I wanted just a bit more at the end, especially given the way that Villeneuve chose to close it that felt like a punch to the gut LOL

The parts that really stood out for me were the opening scene with the eclipse (HOLY COW I COULD GO ON ABOUT THAT SCENE FOR HOURS) and the way that the audience watches Paul struggle with embracing the identity of the Kwisatz Haderach for most of the film.  I wanted to capture both of those parts with this piece, hinting at the internal conflict and the coming Holy War that's set up at the end of the movie with the blood on his hands.

If the group was being honest, they wouldn’t have expected Hyrule to get in a relationship at all

Having traveled to his Hyrule and seeing how barren it is, they weren’t sure how the people were finding each other to begin with

But they’re all very happy for him

The teasing is pulled back a bit because The Traveler was so nervous about being in a relationship to begin with

The boys don’t want to the reason he thinks that it’s impossible, or worse, his partner breaks up with him because they decided to be jerks

Wouldn’t be the most guilt tripping thing they would have ever done?

But that doesn’t happen!

So Hyrule gets to love his giant royalty with no restraint

Legend can’t say he’s surprised.... but holy cow he is

How did The Traveler land such a beauty?

Twilight and Wild share a look

Maybe the height is a hero thing (along with the color red)

You bet that Wind is going to ask all sorts of questions, inappropriate or otherwise

Don’t mind Warrior giving tips on how to woo his partner even later on in the relationship

Time is trying to stop him but also think it’s hilarious

His partner is taking it all in stride because Hyrule’s friends are fun

Although they will have to wait until their gone to ask their own questions

For example: Why do they call him the name of the kingdom?

Legend

Won’t admit it, but he loves getting piggy back rides from them

Like, won’t even admit it on his death bed sort of thing

It’s his pride

But also he thinks it’s childish

Just as long as they don’t call him out on it

Everyone knew that no matter who Four chose as his significant other that he was going to be the shortest

By a long shot

And yet when they finally meet, they’re all stunned by how much taller his lover is

The difference is more than any one would have been willing to bet

Having to cram their head up to meet them in the eyes was not something they would have put on their expectation lists

But here we are

Four is going to climb them like a tree and be very happy with the added bonus of being able to sit on their shoulders and hug them from behind

Is also the perfect opportunity to whisper sweet nothings into their ear and distract them from whatever they were doing

You bet it is!

Is Four going to admit that’s the whole point of him being up there?

Nope! Because then he wouldn’t be allowed to do so.

Is going to give them the longest chains to dress up in and make them seem taller than they really are

Four is never going to hear the end of it if the guys ever see them together and he knows it

So he’s anticipating the jokes but he knows that it’s all in good fun

He’s never going to let them see him get a piggy back ride though

It was bad enough with Twilight and he gave his excuses for not liking it

He’s not keen on explaining why there’s a problem with them and not his lover

Wind (Aged up)

I want to think in my heart of heart that he would grow taller but still not be taller than the tallest in the group

That being said, Wind is a sap

Sure he can no longer reach the top shelf as far as his home life in concerned

But also tall royalty!

He’s the little spoon! 

He loves it!

The others when they meet again are both surprised and not

Let’s be real the boys have a type

And it’s not exactly that far of a leap to think that Wind would be included in that list as well

Wind takes their remarks in stride

Having a tall significantly other who fights with you on the battle field- or battle deck, in his case- is one hell of a advantage

If Wind had to complain about one thing and one thing only....It would be how he can’t reach up to give them any kisses

A burden to bare for sure.

He gets teased for being in a relationship period, there’s no escaping for it

It doesn’t matter if he’s the short one here

That doesn’t change literally anything

He’s always going to be the baby of the group as much as he hates it

So his s/o is going to be extra special as well

Just as teased though- for many other reasons

Older brothers are merciless

Wild

Wild is fairly small compared to most to the people in his world

So when the boys saw this, it shouldn’t have come as any surprise that Wild’s s/o was going to be taller than him

That being said, they misjudged the difference

Wild grins from their shoulder and waves to the group. “Hello! This is my partner! Like I said.”

Twilight blinks and hangs his head, digging into his pocket to bring out a small bag of rupees and hands it to Time

Wild gasps and screeches “Really Rancher?! Old man! You too?”

Time smile. “I know my boys.”

sky snickers and waves back. “Happy to meet you. Wild talks about you a lot.”

Wild covers his face with his hands as his partner gently puts him on the ground. “A pleasure to meet you all as well. He speaks highly of the lot of you.”

Warrior happily skips over and claps Wild on the shoulder. “They got family/”

“Shut up!” Wild takes a swing, previous shame forgotten.

Hyrule and Wind laugh and move away from the soon to wrestle duo so they can get to now more about Wild’s home life.

Time and Twilight approach as well and introduce the members of the chain one by one so that it would less confusing for them in the future

Four kicks the ground from under him

Wild’s s/o looks familiar to him and he’s not sure why they look someone he used to talk to in Castle Town

Genetics said copy and paste

And dang they all the same type don’t they?

Warrior

Warrior didn’t realize just how tall they were until he was reunited with them

He got used to the height when he was home

Frankly, he’s not the tallest person in the Queen’s court anyway

And then he got used to be able to look his companions in the eyes and it was nice

Only to be viscerally reminded that this is not the norm

The others think he just has a type

They... aren’t entirely wrong but Warrior is going to take that little secret to his grave

His S/O, of course, is delighted to have him home again, if only for a little while

In their excitement, they lift Warrior clear off of the ground in a hug and hold them against their chest like a life size teddy bear

Wild snaps a picture

And it’s the only picture of Warrior where he doesn’t look put together in any way, shape, or form

Time thinks he remembers them and he knows that they’re good people

So he’s amused greatly just how whipped Warrior is for his S/O

As he should be

Legend quietly asks Wild for copies of the photo in the background

But Wind hears them and stops it

Little brothers gotta look out for the older one sometimes 

Twilight

Let’s face it Twilight is already incredibly short compared to the people of his Hyrule

(All of them are but shush)

So his s/o is easily taller than him as it is

But since Twilight is the second tallest of the group, it takes the other by a bit of surprise when they see how short Twilight is compared to them

Twilight can’t really see it though

He’s completely love struck and full of puppy love

Wind, Wild and Four try to secretly measure them when they’re not paying attention to see how tall they really are

Because Twilight surely doesn’t care

And they don’t want to see rude by asking

Twilight likes to be the little spoon, especially as Wolfie

So you better bet your bottom dollar that he’s going to curl up against his s/o much like he does to some of the other members of the group but this time he’s going to be encase by warmth

You know- if he sits, he sits

That’s the rule

Time know where Twi gets it from and makes it a point to not make any comments

Warrior and Legend don’t care

He’s getting teased

Sky is the only one to have mercy on him and he’s also going to ask every question imaginable because he’s a romantic at heart and nosey as hell

Time

This guy is already the tallest in the group

So his tall S/O is tall

They love all the tiny boys in the group

Everybody has to crane their necks to so much as look at their face

Time doesn’t even notice it anymore

Twilight is wondering why he got none of that

Warrior and Legend are once again trying to figure how he got with them to begin with

Bets are made

Money is lost

Wild and Wind are going to see if Time’s partner can carry them

Hyrule and Sky are going to have to adjust their heads more often than they’d like but they don’t want to think too much on it

They’ve met a lot of other tall people

Not a big deal

Four.... is having a minor crisis

It’s hard talking to Time as it is

And now there’s someone taller?

He’s not going to even bother looking up

TBB S3E7 Reactions

Alright, in lieu of an analysis this week, you guys get some extra long reactions from me. Spoilers for Extraction under the cut!

- Of course the operative is still alive after being completely buried by rocks

- You okay there Rexy boy?

- Aww, Crosshair helping him up

- “There’s always another way” feels like foreshadowing

- CX does sound awfully like Tech when he’s grunting. Either that or DBB has only one way of making groaning noises 😂

- The rim lighting in this episode is such a pain for making screenshots but so satisfying for watching

- The modified clone theme when Wolffe lands 😭

- Wolffe was really getting 3PO flashbacks there with that disgusted sigh

- Isn’t Hilo a canon commando?? Or is he from legends?

- I will never get over how realistic light looks in this show

- There’s no way that CX just caught himself with his hands

- “We’re waiting on you” they’re not leaving Crosshair behind this time 🥹

- Lol Batcher. Licking cute clones faces. Always the priority

- How is this CX such a good shot??

- Oh Wolffe definitely has a constant headache. Idk how he’s actually put up with being in the Empire this long.

- This purple atmosphere is so pretty

- “I’m much worse” — SCREAMING. And the little tilt with his helmet to make his point clear? This man can have me however he wants. Anytime, anywhere. Call me, baby (I hope someone laughed at that lol)

- So Hunter does hear the ships. I wonder if his senses are more tuned for mechanical vibrations and animal life than people

- Lol Howzer is this really the time for a heart to heart?

- “Loyalty meant something to me” 🫡

- Lol that TK Trooper sounded like a mid-Atlantic 50s movie star

- How is the operative this nimble? Seems suspicious

- Smoke bombs are CF99s signature

- Interesting that for once the stun bolts are being used ON the Batch instead of by them.

- Wrecker and Batcher are a great team

- Hunter just dropping that TK and then Crosshair taking out their ship. Phew

- Also not suspicious at all that they’ve neutralized all the TKs and left the clone troopers for later.

- How did Crosshair sense the operative coming up behind them?

- RIP Nemec 😓

- “Too bad” 😩😩😩

- Oh Cross, you know you’re not the best at hand to hand combat. This is a very bad idea

- That waterfall is pretty though

- Dear lord why did they have to make these scenes so dark

- Oh fuck. I can’t even tell who threw who off the cliff

- The whole squad going after Crosshair even though he told them to get to the extraction point 😭

- CX obviously knows Crosshair and has beef with him. Again, for the millionth time—WHAT THE HELL DID HEMLOCK DO TO ALL OF THEM

- “You had your chance to be one of us. You chose the wrong side”. Really can’t wait for this to be explained.

- Crosshair’s reflexes are so fast for being all gangly limbs

- Okay I seriously almost had a heart attack here (this is a rewatch so my reactions aren’t immediate but holy cow I almost couldn’t believe what I was seeing watching Crosshair almost drown. Don’t you dare do it Jen!)

- It is v suspicious how fixated on Crosshair CX is even after he’s neutralized him

- Thank GOD for Howzer

- Okay, I can breathe a little again

- That’s…an awfully long fall for someone to survive

- The TBB team took the water scenes from The Crossing in season 2 and said, yeah, how about we just make that a million times better 🤯

- “That’s not Echo”. No, no it is not

- Good to know that Rex is still considered dead by the Empire (although that honestly seems strange that CX in season 2 knew who he was). That’s heartbreaking that Wolffe thought he was dead this whole time though

- Wow. The respect these two men have for each other

- “Oh I did. Lost a lot of good men that day” *cries in TCW season 7*

- Idk how Rex keeps going honestly

- His voice may be gentle but his face means BUSINESS

- Rex 🤝 Omega - believing the power of friendship can save anyone and anything they come across

- Fuck your orders Wolffe

- “I’ll make sure you’re given a fair trial” you really have no idea who you work for Wolffe do you

- Hunter being willing to stand down when Rex asks him to

- “I know you. As your brother, I’m asking you to do the right thing” the brotherly reunions this season are just paralleling all over the place

- Gregor the handsome fellow that you are. I swear his pauldrons get bigger every time we see him

- “Let my people go” the Exodus vibes are strong here too

- Guess we’re gonna be finding out what makes this CX so special. Still can’t believe he survived.

- Rex just lost almost all of his men again 😣😭

- The sheer respect and care that Hunter and Rex have for each other. The hand on the shoulder. The losses that tie them together. The worry and earnestness in Hunter’s face and tone when he tells Rex he can’t win. He doesn’t emote this much to people he doesn’t consider family.

- The ways Hunter still is hesitant to do anything but run and hide, and Rex still can’t give up. Not quite yet.

- How Hunter won’t be able to either until they know what is really going on with Omega.

It took no time at all for Charles and Lando to be endeared to Daniel. In fact, it took 20 minutes and a short explanation about why Sassy couldn't also be in these ‘passport photos’. 

Daniel instead made them promise to take 'passport photos' for Sassy because she's a good cat and deserves to get to fly like the birds too. Not wanting to be left out, Jimmy had padded over and chirped at Lando– a sound Max had never heard him make. And that's how Jimmy got his own 'passport photos' done. 

Now Lando and Charles were giggling with Daniel on the floor by the patio doors stroking Jimmy and Sassy reverently because before today the cats have never even sniffed in their direction. 

"It's because you move too quickly and smelled like a big dog one time." Daniel had said sagely, kissing the top of Sassy’s head, between her ears.

Charles' brow furrowed– he was still reasonably wrapping his mind around the fact that Daniel was actually speaking to and understanding the cats.

"You should go to Alex's house. They have like 12 cats, a dog and a horse." Lando said offhandedly. Which Max thought was the absolutely incorrect thing to say because Daniel's eyes shot up in pleasurable surprise and he turned those big brown cow eyes on to Max imploringly. 

Max stood stock still, he had been in the middle of emailing the photos of Daniel to Michelle and now he wished he could turn invisible. Was he also magically adept? How did one find out? Could he pee in a cup like a drug test or did they prick your skin like an allergy test?

"Max, can we?" He asked with a hopeful smile, a tender slash of his lips. "Please?"

And Max…normally he has no problem saying no. He's even told his nephews no when they beg him with a similar pleading look. But there's something about Daniel's big eyes that made him want to cave in and say yes.

"I…" Max sighed because he was weak to Daniel's charms. Weak to that beautiful expressive face. "We can find out if he's home I guess." 

The three men on the floor cheered happily and Max blinked because he had completely forgotten that Lando and Charles were there. Daniel bounced to his feet and launched himself into Max's arms in excitement– his mouth wide in a happy happy smile. 

Max caught him– hello, reflexes– and was stunned at how Daniel's face transformed in his glee. He was struck dumb, maybe. Daniel tucked his head into Max’s neck, he was so so happy. Monaco was amazing, everyone he’s met so far were so nice! (Except the birds, sadly)

“He says he’s home and we can come over for a games night. He’ll order pizza.” Recited Lando and Daniel jumped at the mention of pizza. Max had promised him pizza and now he’ll get to meet 15 cats, 2 dogs and horses and get pizza?? This was the best day ever. Monaco was the best ever.

Daniel kissed Max’s cheek in his exuberance and started singing about his new friends and Monaco. Lando and Charles, who truly weren’t paying attention before, were once again stunned silent while Daniel’s tattoos shuffled and glowed and the cats became boneless purring monsters in their hold. 

“Holy fuck Mate.” Lando whispered in awe, Charles nodded silently. Max’s attention was on the bit of his cheek that still felt warm from Daniel’s lips. Was it normal to feel jealous of your own body?

Pirate!Schlatt x Siren!Reader

Hello Hello! This is not really a request someone has asked, but I saw someone want to see someone write this :3

So I have took it upon myself to write it for them <3

✰*☾ A Boat swiftly swept the waters, the light willow it was made of, darkened by the sweeping waves of the seas, beautiful patterns of shells, stars and such carved into the large boat.

"Hurry up and Drop the anchors!"

A Harsh and rough voice growled, the man had a large built body, a face full of facial hair, swept back dark brown hair, different sorts of jewelry on his ears, arms, legs and fingers. He went by the name of Schlatt, or as the members on the boat knew him as Captain Schlatt.

The Sun set a magical swirl of colors on the water, as the moon began to rise, a thick fog set around the boat, the waters were calm, almost unnoticeable.

Schlatt, was the only person on the boat awake, looking at the beautiful, dark blue crystal clear waters, watching as fish swam by.

A large slam was heard hitting the side of the boat, Schlatt being caught off guard, he quickly grabbed a dagger he had in his belt, running to where he had heard the crash.

He looked down quickly to see where the crash had come from. As Schlatt looked down to see where he heard the crash from he saw a small dent in the wooden boat, he looked confused, whatever it was it was big, not big enough to be a whale, but not small enough to be your average fish.

As he went back to his original position, he remained a tad bit cautious, another crash was heard, this time in front of him, he jumped up and quickly looked next to the boat, as he looked into the waters, he saw a Woman!

He gasped quickly dropping into the Crystal clear, yet salty sea. Quickly grabbing the Woman and bringing her onto the boat, as he set her down he looked at her shocked. "no way.." He spoke quietly, in both Shock and awe. The Woman laying before him was no ordinary woman, but a siren, a beautiful one at that, the tail reached 5 feet, her scales were shiny and stunning.

As the Siren slowly began to Regain her consciousness, she gasped looking at the Pirate Captain before her, her soft fluffy, and silky (H/c) hair, was long, reaching down to the starting of her tail. Her wide (E/c) Eyes looked at him for a moment, seaweed covered her tail, after a moment she quickly jumped off the boat back into the waters, before she swam away, she took one last glance at Schlatt.

"Holy cow.."

Schlatt said speechlessly, not believing what he had just found.

Days had gone by, the rest of the crew thought Schlatt had gone crazy once he started talking about a Siren!

"Aren't those things urban legends?" One crew member would say

"Well I didn't hear anything crash into the boat last night"

and responses and such like that.

As days and days went by, as they sailed away, Schlatt was wondering if he had caught a sea sickness of sorts to make him think that happened, that he saw a Siren.

Another peaceful night had come, the boat was anchored down, Schlatt was back at the front of the boat, looking at the moon, that was waxing. soft fluffy pure white clouds covered the moon, a soft light hitting the boat and sea as the darkness of the night surrounded the soft lights.

Schlatt heard something under him, he quickly looked down, it.. was the Siren he saw all those days ago?! He gasped, he was about to say something before she shushed him, she reached out her arm holding a Angels wing Shell, it was stunning, Schlatt softly took it from her, looking at the amazing, yet rare Shell that he held in his hands, he looked down at the Siren.

"If you have one- what may your name be?" he spoke softly, she fluttered her eyes at him, before speaking, with her soft voice, "Y/n" as she spoke her sharp, canine teeth were able to be seen. They were a beautiful pearl white color.

Her Eyes fluttered once more before quickly swimming off.

"y/n..." Schlatt said, blush covering his face, he looked at her in awe and amazement as he watched her swim off quickly back down to the deep blues.

A/N : WOW I was not expecting to have as much fun as I did when writing this! :D

Okay, I'm not even sure where to start cus this is one INSANE ride of a movie! I mean HOLY COW!!! IF ALL OF DISNEY'S MOVIES WERE THIS GOOD, I'D WATCH

This movie ROCKS in the world building department. Everything is well rounded out and looks stunning. One of the things that I found most exciting was the fact that they made a WHOLE FRICKEN USEABLE LANGUAGE FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!!! They actually brought in a linguist to make it!!!! That's how committed they were!!! Do you hear about Disney doing this nowadays? NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Also, THE STEAMPUNK AESTHETIC.

LOOK AT THIS SUB!!!! LOOK AT IT!!!!!

It's so detailed and cool looking!!!! If I saw this in love action, I think I'd freak! How can steam powered vessel go below the crush depth?

I DON'T CARE!!! IT'S AWESOME!!! (I especially like that bubble in the front. How fun! I'd definitely be looking out of that thing all the time!) I heard people say that watched the scene with the Leviathan attacking the sub thought it looked so real, that some people who worked on army subs got FLASHBACKS!!! I'm not even kidding! Everything during those scenes felt so real and immersive! You can tell Disney did their home work!

Okay now Atlantis itself!

It feels like it's own culture. It's feels real. It doesn't feel or look like a lazy combination of two cultures. It's distinct and interesting looking. And the people are very unique in appearance too. With their blue eyes, white hair, and coppery brown skin. It's a beautiful combination. And their clothes are nice as well. Lots of bright colors. Mostly blues, purples, magentas, etc. Very beautiful.❤️

OH! OH! AND THEIR TECHNOLOGY!!!! Oh my gosh!!! That leviathan and those fish shaped flying machines?!! HECKIN RAD!!!! How are they made?!?? What are they made out of?!??? So many QUESTIONS!!!!!!

I especially love the use of crystals in the Atlantian technology. I actually studied stuff like that and from what I've found in my research, it was actually entirely possible that ancient civilizations, like Atlantis used Crystals in somes ways of energy. Which is amazing! I don't know if that's where they got inspiration. But I found it intriguing none the less!

And the Creatures were also cool! They felt almost alien or prehistoric in appearance! It was really cool. Some of the creatures looked like they came straight from Pandora from the movie Avatar! I'm a sucker for fantasy creatures and speculative biology. So I'd love to see If I could figure out everything about the ecosystem of Atlantis! To bad they didn't go into more detail about it, but the movie wasn't about the critters. Still, hats of to the crew for giving them such interesting designs!

Okay, Onto more stuff!

THE CHARACTERS

Milo. He's adorkable.

That's it. He's perfect. I love him.

Okay, lol. Actually I have a lot to say. They gave him SOOOOOOOOO much personality! He's dynamic and easy to read! He's allowed to push his expressions and be exaggerated! He's just so fun to watch! Big thumbs up to his animator(s). And look at those glasses! And that hair! Such a good character design! He's just so fun and loveable looking!❤️

And he's allowed to show a full range of emotions! I know this one sounds weird. But it drive me crazy when a character is only allowed to show one emotion and by completely defined by it. Like being sickingly happy go lucky, or dark and moody. It's like, that's all you're going to do with them? But Milo, goes through the full range of emotions in the movie. He's got excitement from going into the unknown. Sadness and grief from the loss of his grandpa and parents. Righteous anger at Commander Rourke's betrayal and utter disregard for the Atlantian people's lives. He experiences everything and it all feels so relatable. He's just the best. I also love how enthusiastic and kind hearted he is. He has the heart of a hero despite his first impressions. And his cute crush on Kida is the best. He's such a goober. He needs to be considered a Disney Prince. He deserves it more than most.

Kida is GORGEOUS. 🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ LOOK AT HER DESIGN! IT ROCKS!!!! WHY THE HECK IS SHE NOT AN OFFICIAL DISNEY PRINCESS!?!??!? SHAME ON YOU DISNEY!!!! She has ALL the qualifications!!!!

She's strong! Mentally, emotionally, AND fricken physically!!! She cares deeply about her people and her culture!!!! She is ROYALTY. She is a WARRIOR!!! She is a QUEEN!!! If any of the "forgotten Disney Princesses" deserved the title of official princess, it HER! FORGET RAYA!!! You're telling me that the Disney heroin that taught people to trust their abusers, EVEN AFTER THEY'VE HURT THEM MULTIPLE TIMES and then GUILT TRIPS THEM, deserved the title of Disney Princess more than THIS WOMAN?!??! BULL! ABSOLUTE BULL! (Sorry for the rant. I have to refrain myself for going on a lecture about how Raya never deserved that title. She is my least favorite Disney princess. 😖👎 KIDA ALL THE WAY!!!!😄👍💕)

Oh, and her and Milo are the cutest couple. I heard people were upset because they didn't get a big kiss at the end. NO! They didn't kiss at the end of the movie! They didn't need to! They just FLIPPEN met!!! I wouldn't either! We're they still an adorable couple? HECK YES!!! They cared about each other and learned from each other and UGH! They so CUTE!!!!! And Milo gets to be King Consort of the Kingdom he spent his entire life searching for alongside his Queen who is also the woman he loves! How great an ending is that?! He knows they were both great rulers. You know it.

Commander Rourke. I hate this man.

I can't even find any good gifs of him. THAT'S HOW MUCH PEOPLE DESPISE HIM! Rourke is the DEVIL! Hidden under the guise of a good old American Army Commander! Which is why he is one of the BEST if not THE BEST Disney villains! He was about to let an entire lost civilization of people die, just because he wanted their LIFE FORCE!!! He definitely deserved to be transformed into a crystal creature then shattered. What a complete MONSTER!!!

I have to admit, I was actually already spoiled by the twist ending. I already knew about it from multiple sources. But somehow, that didn't matter! I watched it and I still felt connected to Rourke, even though I knew what was coming! It was so good! Rourke was written as the stereotypical brave army commander. Down to the last detail. Making a memorial for the lost crew mates. Being friendly with the main cast. Acting like a true gentleman. This is why he makes such a good villain. Nobody expects someone like him to be in league with the NAZIS of all things! Ultimately, he was an absolutely cruel and insane man, that nobody saw coming. It is probably the BEST twist villain I have EVER seen. Incredible writing. Wow.

Now, I'm not sure If I want to go through every single character. But I loved the all and definitely have thoughts on them, so I'm gonna speed run this.

Lieutenant Helga Katrina Sinclair. MA'AM??? Just what do you think you're doing in a kids movie?!!??

🤣 Okay, in all seriousness. She was actually a cool character. She was tough as nails, beautiful, confident. To bad she was that jerk Rourke's head lackey. I mean, she sort redeemed herself toward the end. But it was mostly because she was mad at Rourke for betraying her. Not because she cared about the Atlantis or Kida. Soooooooo... I don't know.🤔

Audrey Rocio Ramirez. LOVE HER!!!!

Her backstory his incredible. Her dad wanted sons. He got two daughters. Audrey and her sister. But you know what? That didn't stop them! He wanted someone to run the garage with him? HE GOT IT! And she's good too! I also love the little detail in her backstory that says her sister is a literal heavy weight boxing champion. You go girl! Show'm what's up! I wish they had given her a name. (I'm gonna give her the name Rosa. That feels right.)

Wilhelmina Bertha Packard. Honestly the most relatable character in the movie.😂 This one gif pretty much sums it up for me.

Somehow, I feel like me and old Mrs. Packard would get along just fine.🤣

Vincenzo "Vinny" Santorini. I'm not sure whether he's crazy or just like explosives a whole lot. Lol.

I actually thought he was Russian the first time I saw him. It wasn't until I found out he was Italian that I realized I made a horrible mistake in identifying his accent. 😂 His almost always neutral expression is helirious. I guess once you've blow up a lot of stuff, nothing phases you. Haha!

Dr. Joshua Strongbear Sweet. *Squeees*

As someone who has Native American ancestry, (my grandfather is Apache,) I was SO excited to see a someone who is half Native American in this film! I mean, half Black and half Native American?! That's INCREDIBLE! I can safely say I've never seen that type of representation in a film before. And he's also one of my favorite characters.

Gaetan "Mole" Molière. This dude is WEIRD... And of course I love him. Haha!

"You have disturbed the dirt." - Mole

I was laughing so hard when I first saw this guy come on screen. He's so dramatic! But he's french, so I guess that fits.

Jebidiah Allardyce "Cookie" Farnsworth. He said this.👇

That's one of the best lines in the film. ☝️😂 But seriously, what can I say? Crazy southern chuckwagon cook with as many unhinged stories as he has pounds of bacon grease. How could I not love him? 😂❤️ One thing I wondered was if this was such a high budget expedition, why couldn't they get like a five star chef instead? NOT THAT I'D WANT THAT BESIDES COOKIE!!! I'd be so mad if they replaced him. I was just curious. But I'm not gonna question it. He's the best and I love him. No five star chef could ever top Cookie.

Kashekim Nedakh i.e The King of Atlantis! WOW.

LEONARD NIMOY?!!?!?? That was pretty much my reaction when I found out who played Kida's father. Who would have guessed that Spock would end up playing a king from a lost empire?! The crew that worked on this movie said that while he was in the recording both, they were stunned. He put his whole heart into the role. They felt like the king was standing there in the room with them! And I FELT that. He sounded just so real! It actually sounded like I was listening to a real ancient king speaking. He was amazing for the role. I'm floored.

THE STORY

The story was amazing. I got a lot of Jules Vern Journey to The Center of The Earth vibes. It was clearly inspired by it.

Milo felt very much like the Axel of the story. Despite being much braver then him. The whole thing felt so cinematic and thrilling! Me and my family were either screaming with excitement or laughing super hard the whole way though.

As the for the moral? Well, it's actually kinda hard to pinpoint exactly. But I think that because unlike other movies, it lets the story show the moral instead of the characters telling us directly.

I would say it shows what happens when people value money and power over human life. Which is important in the time we live in. And that people's culture should be respected.

In all. A very good movie and I highly recommend it. It's a fun, bold, thrilling adventure that you will love.

This is the best gift I ever received and so funny and crazy as well becasue when I was young there just WASNT toys or clothing or any merchandise available for Cartoons or Vdoeo Games or what have you. If you wanted to see your favorite character you would have to go to Google Images on your DSi (wi-fi permitting) and look at the same Deviantart drawings over and over

Super Mario and Pokemon plushes were like items of royalty (other than Pikachu. Pikachus were highly respected but nonetheless common. Kind of like cats in real life). They were rare and impossible to find and my brother had some Mario pluishies and we wer elike WOOOWOWHWOWHWO HOW DID YOU EVEN FIND THOSE ?!?!?! Honestly we probbaly just didnt know how to use the internet. But nonetheless that was the first impression of life that i got when it came to video game or cartoon stuff. What you wanted most just simply did not exists

Nopwadays of course it's completely different and I stil find myself reeling. You can go online and customize stickers and clothing EASILY !!!!!!!! You can go to the mall and find a store that sells Waluigi plushies like it's No Big Deal. They propbably have him in 3 different sizes

So when I got into dragon ball I was delighted (and contonue to be delioghted) at how EASY it is to just ... FIND IT ANYWHERE ??? You go into any random store and there's a chance of finding some sweatshirt with goku on it. For no reason. AND I'M ALWAYS THRILLED TO SEE IT !!!!!

And I was disappinted but Not Surpised when I find out that they just dont really make Goten & Trunks merchandise like they do with anyone else. Plenty of Gohan, plenty of Future Trunks, and that's swag. But you're not gonna find little Goten or Trunks (with the exception of those crappy 1999-2000 series figurines of them WHICH I DID ACQUIRE two years ago at my local Goku store and yes I did immediately tear the original packaging asunder. Actually I'm not religious but tearing them open did feel like a holy and careful thing to do and so I felt strongly compelled to get in the shower and thoroughly wash my feet first???? I don't now why. But I did do that)

And when the Superhero movie was announced it was like AIEEEEE New Goten & Trunks designs !!!

But then even a while after the movie came out I was struggling to find screenshots. No official art was even appearing on google images for a while and the movie wasn't on any of my sites, but I did find some yourube videos with them in it. But I wanted better refs of Goten & Trunks and I was just having trouble. But then a while after that they DID start appearing on Google Images and that was enough to MAKE ME HAPPY!!!!!!!

But i wasnt expecting MERCHANIDSE. Like OF COURS ENOT !!! Like DBZ is crazy popualr but you can't find EOZ merch anywhere, OF COURSE I won't find Goten & Trunks mercfh.

But I mean. THEY WANT TO MILK THIS CASH COW FOR AS LONG AS THEY CAN !!!! They put Goten & Trunks in the manga. Merchanise of them started to appear and i was stunned when my attention was directed toward it but it was still few. A month ago I acidentially found a blind bag of DBS:SH bag clips online and Goten & Trunks were there and I was like OOUGH...HAA....HUH !?!? I recovered thoguh and did not buy any.

DESPITE THE GLARING EVIDENCE THOUHG I JUST DIDNT BELEIVE THAT I COULD EVER ACQUIRE A NICE FIGURINE OF GOTEN ????

I Did Not Know this existed and I don't think it has existed for long. Most thoughtful gift. I'M SO THRILLED !!!!

Very funny to receive JUST Goten. It's never JUST Goten. It's a;lways Goten & Trunks. Goten & Gohan. Goten & His GT Girlfriend. It's never JUST Goten. BUT HERE HE IS!!! JUST HIM!!!!!

And he looks Dumb too he looks stupid the shadows on his face make him look ill. He's got shitty doodoo hair. This is so dumb but they are milking this cash cow baby. AND I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM !!

It's COOL becasue it's a unique design for him. That's probaby why theyre putting out DBS:SH Goten & Trunks merchandise. Becasue there's something to put out there.

Goten only had like 2 designs that were unique and interesting. Here's what I mean:

When he's little he has a few differnt outfits that are colorful and interesting but we don't remeber them and they don't stand out becasue he's not in them long. Gohan had some different outfits throughout his childhood too but we don't remeber them for the same reason.

Goten's most recognizable outfit is his gi and he looks pretty much exactly like Goku so no one cares.

In DB Super he's got an outfit that we';ve actually seen him in beforer only now he's wearing it 24/7. This is more noteworrthty but there's still no merch of him (EXCEPT FOR A BAG CLIP THAT I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUHG TO ACQUIRE.. FOREVE RTHNAKFUL...). Ultimately it's not necessarily UNIQUE becasue like yeah his mother dressed him so what. It's nothing we haven't seen before already

His GT appearance is ..... SO... UNNOTEWORTHY. The whole appeal of his character is that he has a phone and a gilrfinred. HE LOOKS LESS VISUALLY INTERESTING THAN THE TOWNIES. It's especially comical when you see him standing amongst the rest of the cast. PROOF

When i saw his scene I had to pause and laugh for a while. HE'S SUCH A NOBODY!!!!! HE LOOKS LIKE A RANDO WHO JUST WALKED IN. Like some store clerk or something

HIS ONLY INTERESTING AND UNIQUE DESIGNS ARE:

HIS INFAMOUS "SON GOTEN" SHIRT, which he wore for ONE EPISODE at EOZ. Noteworthy mostly due to his new height and long hair

HIS DBS:SH OUTFIT. Noteworhty becasue he's FINALLY growing up and his hair is getting long.

... ^ WE DIDNT GET THE LATTER UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2022. All we had for a long time was his purple man jeans in GT and his SON GOTEN pride shirt in EOZ. And there's NO merch of those, in all of these years.

His outfit in DBS:SH is sort of superb in how it links the tradsitonal clothes he's always worn and the cityboy fits he gravitates towards later. His mother picked that shirt out but you know that he bought those pants at Kohl's

He's just so funny .... This figurine is so funny .. It came with bubble wrap wrapped ONLY around his head like a bag of shame and im honestly gonna put it back on becasaue he is so ugly.

so like, it turns out that my HRT appointment was too good to be true

upon showing up on my only day off for the appointment that I scheduled, I was informed that they don't actually take new patients this quickly when they can't tell whether they're masculinizing or feminizing

now I'm a binary trans man and it's very clear in my documents that I'm only masculinizing, so in theory I could have very easily just said that. But I was so stunned I just kinda went along with it, because oh my god?

I'm a 24 year old man and these people are still playing god with my body. They still think that androgynous people are confused and a risk to themselves, that we don't know what we want for our own fucking bodies. This is absolutely fucking insane.

I picked up my life and moved the fuck away from where I used to be treated like I didn't know what my own god damned body needed. Everybody here assumes I'm cis, and therefore treats me like a human being instead of a child / medical freak. But as soon as I need to do doctor stuff, this shit happens.

I mean holy fucking cow, I'm gonna have to go off of T for a few months because this cis person has decided that I, a binary trans man who has had top surgery and has been on T for three years, who has a letter diagnosing me with dysphoria and has been approved by my insurance, who is legally registered as male in every aspect, am not trans enough for them to be sure that it's safe to just continue treating me where my last doctors left off. Bitch I'm gonna get my fucking period bc this secretary thought I was agender and it made them decide that I'm not sure about my own goddamned body and maybe all of my other actual doctors who are licensed professionals, maybe they were wrong. Holy fuck.

And during the time you three lived together until now... You became good friends with Gyro and developed a crush on Johnny. Much to your dismay but it is what it is.

Checking your phone, you saw you almost had to leave so you checked yourself one last time in the mirror before you walked in the living room to get to your room. 

"Holy cow, Y/N! You look stunning!" Gyro commented, a big smile on his face. "Thank you, Gyro, didn't know you could be nice."

"Didn't know you could look like that." You rolled your eyes and entered your room to get your bag. 

You kinda had hoped Johnny would have said anything, but he kept quiet, much to your disappointment, but you couldn't change it. Yet it kinda hurt you, making you doubt for a second to actually wear the fancy clothes you picked out for tonight. 

Maybe you should cancel? He surely made a mistake asking you in the first place…No, you told yourself, you'd go out and enjoy yourself.

That was tonight’s goal. With bag and shoes now gathered you exited your room and tried to push away the looming stress and nervousness inside of you.

"I'll be gone then; I hope you two will have a great night too." You said and looked at the two horse lovers who were seated on the couch, playing games.

 "We'll be fine. Just remember, if he shows any red flags, or you get a weird feeling, call me and I'll come get ya!" Gyro said looking at you sternly. 

"Don't worry, as soon as he begins to resemble you, I'll give you a call." Gyro needed a second before he got what you were implying.

Johnny snickered along. 

"Well, I best be going then, until later!" And with that you left the room and consequently the apartment. "Man, you're really messing up your chance." "As if I ever had one." Johnny answered his friend and sounded defeated.  You stood outside the restaurant, nervous, unsure if he'd actually show up. 

"I hope you weren't waiting for too long, I'm sorry for my delay." A voice from behind you said and made you spin around, smiling once you saw him. Diego looked fine tonight, and you wondered how it came to be he asked you out of all people available to him.

You were bored out of your mind. Gyro and Johnny had been out riding for like one and a half hour already and they were still nowhere to be seen. 

It wasn't their fault that you felt a little down today and therefore declined riding with either, so you didn't blame them. 

You weren't big into riding yourself but coming with them to the stables, seeing them in their element and with Slow Dancer and Valkyrie and sometimes riding with them was such a highlight.

You loved how Gyro kept talking to his little "bella" as if she was his girlfriend and you loved seeing Johnny being happy while he rode on Slow Dancer. 

But today... after your mood plummeted thanks to your feelings towards a certain blond rider, you rather sat in the shade near the stables and were on your phone. 

To your surprise, some strange legs entered your view and in front of you stood Diego Brando. 

You had heard of him, his reputation was that to thank for, and Johnny and Gyro had their run-ins with him and loved to rant about him.

 "Hey there." You said unsure of what exactly would happen now. You looked around and only spotted a girl with short pink hair nearby. 

"Yeah, hey. I wanted to ask if you'd like to go out sometime?" You sat there dumbfounded. 

A popular, good-looking guy, many girls surely would die for, just casually asked you out, without having ever spoken a word before. You blinked a couple of times. 

"Eh..." was All you could answer before you saw the chance this was. A date, with someone who seemed interested in you and might make you realize you never actually crushed on Johnny. 

"Sure. Why not." You said and Diego looked pleased. 

"May I have your phone to give you my number?" Slightly embarrassed you handed the man your phone who quickly typed something in with his none gloved hand. 

"There you go. Send me a message later yeah, love?" His British accent did make your knees a little weak.

Mindlessly you tugged a lose hair string behind your ear and looked at the newly made contact of "Diego 🦖" while said contact began striding back to his friend, who you assumed must be Hot Pants, the guys had also told you about her. 

Not too long after that, Johnny and Gyro were back too. 

"Did ya get bored waiting for us?" Gyro asked as he helped Johnny unmount. "A little."

"Your fault for not coming along. We found a real nice new path near a small river."

"I'll come along next time, then you can show me, yeah?" You answered Johnny and decided to keep the thing with Diego for yourself. 

You knew if you let them know now, they'd go on a rant of how horrible he is and how you should never even talk to him unless you want him to eat your firstborn or whatever.

They sure painted him like a horrible person but to you, Diego seemed a little charming almost.

DOUBLE STUFF OCTOBER IS ALMOST OVER LETS TALK HOTEL EN ESPAÑOL

All the way back way back when we were just doing Theatre of Tomorrow I had a dream of doing our show in Spanish. Our resources, skill level, experience, and the complexity of ToT made that dream so out of reach it was just something fun to talk about.

"What if!"

Well when I decided to join Bloody Disgusting, I knew with the resources, experience, and the simplicity of the Hotel's production that maybe, just maybe, we could pull it off. And I was sure this show would sound fucking incredible in Spanish. It's a perfect fit.

I'll spare you the boring and gory corporate details (it's mostly me in emails, phone calls, and video meetings explaining, arguing, fussing, and doing my best not to swear for months and months) but when the dust settled and the clouds parted out stepped-

Guillermo Ruiz de Santiago. A hero.

Memo is the Veronica in Mexico. He produces, runs the socials, figures out translation, and does all the casting. (I was involved, I heard the auditions and stuff but the buck stops with Memo.) None of this happens without him, and he understood the project and was very excited to bring it to the Spanish speaking audiences everywhere.

I am blown away that this show exists. I can hardly believe my luck. It's everything I hoped it would be and more. It sounds incredible. Ginette Zavala, Alex Villalobos, and Edgar Cañas are wonderful as the Staff (and Alex and Memo recently got married!) and I am doing everything I can to get season 2 and 3 and on and on produced as well. We're almost at 10,000 downloads and listened to on three continents across 6 countries! Holy cow! is that right? yeah, okay wow.

IT'S GODDAMN AMAZING AND I ALREADY HAVE MULTIPLE PLAYTHROUGHS PLANNED BECAUSE ONCE IS NOOOOT ENOUGH! I AM IN LOVE. Oh god favorites are hard, I'm gd attached to all of these little ducklings following my Tav. So far at least, storywise it's SCRATCH HE IS THE BESTEST BOY maaaybe Astarion. I LOVE his arc, his voicework is stunning, (I accidentally killed him with the big monastery laser and his reaction was hysterical) and his quest has been very moving. A close second is KARLACH, MY GIRL, MY FIREY BFF, like damn I HAD my little battle group (Gale + Astarion + Wyll) when I found her but I adore her so much I'm rotating Gale and Wyll to keep her permanently, SHE JUST WANTED A HUG. 😭

I'm in act 3, I just hit the city! I have no idea how but I am also STILL on my first PT after over a month of play. I love to sniff around under every nook and cranny granted, AND YET I STILL MISSED THINGS, IT'S SO BIG???

So far my route has been a chaotic good route! Outside, uh, occasional murdery hiccups goodbye creche but ya'll were assholes I've mostly managed to follow that alignment, and somehow still made friends with Lae? That was unexpected. I thought she hated my Tav's guts before she hit on her. 😂

Hilarious moments: setting off the giant laser at the monastery cause why wouldn't I grab the shiny weapon (sorry Astarion); being instakilled by Vlaakith at said monastery after basically mocking her with 'if you were really a god you'd be able to just kill someone yourself ha ha-splat'; friends telling me to talk to animals so I got excited when I saw a squirrel and ran to talk to it - it proceeded to bite me, then I failed a persuasion roll about being friends and it told me to fuck off; trying to get to that dwarf lady's husband in the Underdark and shooting an arrow at one of the mushrooms in the field he was in, thinking I could clear them one by one to get to him, only to set off a chain reaction that incinerated him and left the entire field a smoking crater (me as the explosions begin: oh, OH, oh no - wait, sir! Sir! Oh you're fine, you're - oh fuck, RUN SIR RU-shit he's dead); placing my druid in rothe/battle cow shape at the top of a ladder and charging whatever bad guy comes up so they fall back down (catchphrase: MOO, BITCH); and finally, I was having trouble with that one boss guy in the goblin camp, the one that sits on the throne. So when I saw I could get to the rafters, I painstakingly dragged every last explosive barrel and grenade I could find into the room and innocently placed them around the throne, then went up to the rafters and had Astarion shoot a fire arrow. I figured I'd at least bring the guy's health down but instead I set off the fourth of july, blasted that guy so hard he bounced around the room like a pinball before his body wound up glitch-stuck halfway through a wall, but hey, dead as a doornail sooo... it worked? Chaotic good alignment: MASTERED. 🤪

I'm playing a half-elf druid CAUSE I CAN BE AN OWLBEAR OR DINOSAUR TO FIGHT. I now have a chance to run around as a dinosaur druid with my 200 yo elf boyfriend, my BFFs, and find random bowls of poutine, this is the BEST GAME EVER. Also hilariously, I didn't check the stats closely and her intelligence wound up quite low, so she is very wise but also dumb as a bag of hammers, I love her, my first Tav is a good-hearted, unintentional bundle of chaos.

God damn I'm in shock. Holy cow. So I just want to say thank you to everyone for their kind words and support for HND recently. It's been huge. I love reading everything everyone has been saying.

But here I am writing the next chapter and I get a Kofi notification and I'm like that's weird and a very kind person donated to me and I appreciate it a lot but like I'm in total shock right now. I don't advertise my Kofi a lot if at all and I just, it was really nice and I'm just stunned.

When Best Friends Meet - Part 1

8 year old Rebecca Fuller pouted angrily as she sat on a chair outside the principal's office. "It wasn't my fault that stupid brat got her nose broken. She shouldn't have been so mean in the first place." Rebecca grumbled under her breath. She knew she would get some trouble with her parents for breaking a kid's nose and nearly exposing her powers, but they wouldn't be as mad when they learned why their daughter did it. "Rebecca honey, people only get respect from you when they give it. There are times when violence is about the only solution you can give." Rebecca smiled at what her mother always told her. She was a good kind hearted woman but knew how to dish out a mean left hook herself when defending herself or others. Rebecca was brought out of her thoughts when she saw a boy with a bloody mouth walk to the chair next to her and sat down with it. He had a paper towel in his hand that was already becoming covered with blood as well. Rebecca winced in sympathy. 'Poor kid probably fell or got pummeled by a bully.' She usually didn't judge people by their appearances, but this kid was the definition of scrawny. He didn't' have any muscles and was only a few inches taller than Rebecca. He was wear brown shorts and a button up blue shirt coupled with a bow tie. This kid didn't look intimidating at all and couldn't even hurt a fly. Rebecca noticed to her surprise the boy wasn't crying or had any other bruises on his face nor arms. He was just sitting their patiently, minding his own business as he stared at his shoes. Rebecca's curiosity soon got the better of her so she decided to talk to the kid. "So did you already go to the nurse's office yet?" Rebecca asked. The boy seemed startled by Rebecca's voice and turned to face his seatmate with a confused expression. "What?" The boy asked. "I said, did you already go to the nurse's office before you came here?" Rebecca asked again. The boy just blinked at her, still looking confused. "I never went to the nurse's office. I'm not sick or hurt." The boy explained. This time it was Rebecca's turn to be confused. "Huh? The how did you get all that blood on your mouth?" Rebecca inquired. The boy seemed to hesitate before he responded. "I bit a kid's finger off and their blood squirted on my mouth." The kid explained in a low tone. Rebecca's eyes widened. "What? There is no way you were able to bite kid's finger off." Rebecca exclaimed, very doubtful of what she was hearing. Before the boy could respond, he began to cough violently. Rebecca began to panic as the boy seemed to be trying to hack something up, as if he was choking on something. Quickly, Rebecca hit the boy on his back not too hard, but hard enough to help him spit out whatever he was choking on. It worked as the boy spit something out mid-cough which landed on the floor near their feet. Rebecca's eyes now became wide as saucers as she saw a severed finger covered with saliva lying flat on the ground. The boy turned to look at Rebecca with an unbothered expression. He shrugged as if saying "I told you." There was a tense moment of silence before Rebecca found her voice. "Holy cow you really bit off someone's finger!" She whispered in stunned amazement. The boy just gave a slight nod. "Yep." He casually replied. Rebecca looked at the boy with a determined expression. "How in the world did you bite someone's finger off?" She demanded wanting answers. The boy fidgeted a bit, he had a slight stormy look as he recalled the incident. "I didn't mean to bite the kid's finger off. They were being a bully, making fun of my appearance. I tried ignoring them. They then called me a bad word. They said I was this bad word because I had two dads. That their own parents said my dads and I were this bad word as well as disgusting. I got so angry I bit there finger. I think I bit too hard." The boy grumbled with an angry expression. "I only bite people that make me mad and that kid really made mad. The teacher didn't see what happened just heard the kid screaming his head off." @melodythebunny @erraticeris
