I love stories that don't give you all the information up front but instead give you bits and pieces as the story progresses until you're balls deep in a gut-wrenching and meaningful plot that you could only ever speculate about

i hosted all four of finn's cats yesterday while pest control treated their building. we had a nice visit. kreg keeps saying she wants to live here but i know she would miss her finnie

it got in the high fifties yesterday. i opened all my windows to let the fresh air flow and did a big clean. it was such a pretty day

i have been writing more poems lately. they are built like tiny verbal wunderkammer and filled with bright treasures i find on my rambles. i think, with practice, they are getting better

i'm making cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and roasted chicken this weekend. a makeup dinner for the traditional thanksgiving feast i missed last month

You know...writing a fanfic about a rare character no one in the fandom remembers is when the freedom of fanfic really hits me.

No one is going to read this fic. There is zero pressure in finishing anything. There's no pressure in even posting it to begin with because no one cares.

There's just something very beautiful about being obsessed with a completely insignificant blorbo.

I.E. Currently obsessed with Gin (again) from One Piece. He was the first character I REALLY rooted from the very start and then continuously delivered until the ending (during which I screamed in frustration that he wasn't staying on as a waiter at Baratie despite all the setup that he was staying at Baratie as a waiter).
