first, and most importantly, I’d like to thank every single one of you who clicked on my little blog and hit the follow button; you absolutely rock! I’m so grateful and so appreciative to you for sticking around and bearing with me through all my crazed fandom phases and inactive periods. Because honestly, I know there’s been a lot of them...

...so, after having been on this app for so many years, and having read all the wonderfully crafted fics that I have, I thought, why not celebrate by making a fic rec list to gush over the beautiful writers who I not only admire and look up to (constantly might I add), but whose talent continues to blow me away every time they post!

without further ado, let’s get to it ;)

all of the fics on this list will be from different fandoms and categorized accordingly, and will be labelled either sfw or nsfw. If I have made any mistakes in the labelling of categories or the crediting of the works, please let me know <3

nsfw — I don’t usually read a ton of smut fics, but by god, the writing in this one!!!!! absolute perfection. The pacing, the flow, the energy, I couldn’t stop myself, and I didn’t want to.

sfw — what a fucking cool concept, and an even more spectacular execution. I don’t know if you’ll end up seeing this, but I’ve been a reader of yours for a while, and everything you post just brings me so much joy. sfw — cute, adorable, fluffy, hilariously beautiful; I loved this so much. It’s everything I could want in a fic, and the interactions between the reader, max, and el, feel so sisterly and genuine, it made my heart soar

sfw (ongoing series) — if you enjoy a good Henderson!reader and love steve harrington, then this series is for you. Perfectly crafted and wonderfully written, it belongs in a museum. The dedication is phenomenal and inspiring! I wish I could do what you do

nsfw — this piece is so simplistic, it doesn’t even feel like I’m reading (more like it’s flowing through my mind), and yet, it’s also so complex. Your style, your dialogue, your ability to portray the characters and their emotions is delightfully raw. I enjoyed every second

sfw— what a fucking awesome crossover. I loved every second of this! The banter between Matt and the reader was superb, and the dynamic between the reader and Clint was so heart wrenchingly developed. So. So. So. Good!

slight nsfw — this piece sent me on a journey of emotions. It was happy, it was sad, it was filled with anger and love. And it truly showed Loki’s growth as a character. He was ready to live on earth for the reader, ready to settle down, (instant swoon), it’s genuinely too good!

sfw — you knew I had to do it right? I couldn’t not add the queen of Peter Maximoff fics herself... that would be a downright crime. You know how I feel about your writing, it’s out of this fucking world, indescribably good. Everything you post turns to gold.

IT MUST’VE BEEN SOMETHING YOU SAID by @v-writings

nsfw — if you want to read just about one of the best fics on this site, please, please, please, click on this masterpiece. Seemingly a good old enemies to lovers becomes so much more, so much deeper than what meets the eye. And the way Peter’s character, his insecurities are captured, it’s other worldly

sfw — one of the best fics that I think I’ve ever read. I don’t tend to delve into the bucky side of marvel fanfics, but this one is just *chef’s kiss* I loved every detail!

sfw — so. so. so. good! A must read for any battinson fans out there. I loved Bruce’s relationship with the reader and how flawlessly you portrayed it

sfw — Your writing style is so poetically sweet, it’s addicting really. Admittedly I’m also a bit of a chess fanatic so this was quite perfect, and I loved every word

nsfw — when I read this for the first time, I thought about it for days after. Then I read it again, and again, and again. You must get this a lot (and you’ll probably never see this), but your writing is awe inspiring, it’s breathtaking and beautifully nuanced. It almost doesn’t feel like I’m reading at all, almost like it’s a moving picture in my mind. And as someone who has struggled with dyslexia for my entire life, that feeling is wonderful. So thank you. You’re truly amazing.

sfw — I watched merlin for the first time about a year and a half ago, and since then, I’ve probably watched about 5 or 6 times. I fell in love with the characters and the stories it told, and this series captured it wonderfully. I felt like as I was reading, I was actually watching the show. Thank you so much for writing this masterpiece!
