Yesterday I got brave and tried my first ever console mod. It wasn't the most complicated mod in the world, just swapping the CD Reader in the SEGA Saturn out for a Fenrir Duo but what it means is I can now just use a MicroSD Card loaded up with games rather then the discs themselves.

I do already have a few legit Saturn titles, but was using a Psuedo Saturn Kai for the ones that were a little bit rarer, including Panzer Dragoon Saga which unfortunately I just couldn't get working, so opted for this instead.

Very glad I have done, because it means I can finally play Panzer Dragoon Saga and make that video about it I've been wanting to make for ages!

GOD OF WAR | ELPIS LOKIDOTTIR HEADCANONS QUICK NOTE: in my take, "Hel" is Pandora's reincarnation known as Elpis, the Spirit of Hope from Greek Mythology! (with link provided in bold text for my self-validation 🤭).

SPIRIT ANIMAL: her animal is a bluebird! Not only does it aligns with Faye’s bird motif, it also matches the significance in both of her Norse and Greek equivalents for GOW (according to my research): “Bluebirds of happiness,” associated with the concepts of joy, happiness, and harmony. Symbol of hope, love, positivity, and renewal. Symbolize the essence of life and beauty. Some believe that bluebirds represent a connection between those who have passed away and the living.

FAMILY FEELS

Family outing! Elpis loves it when she and her parents rides on top of Fenrir while they visit Jörmungandr!

All wolves from Ironwood, Jörmungandr, and especially Fenrir are very protective of Elpis! Make her cry and you answer to their wrath.

Fenrir gets slightly jealous whenever Elpis pays attention to other wolves/animals besides himself...he's her best friend, of course he's gonna whine (her parents finds it absolutely adorable)!

Angrboða (and maybe Atreus) taught Elpis how to bake, especially blueberry bread!

Freya's top (and beloved) pupil! Elpis' a prodigy so she's a quick learner whenever Freya teaches her Seiðr magic (the reviving spell from 2018 is one of her favorites). They also bonded over flowers and their shared love for Chaurli!

Despite's Freya's (and Angrboða's) teachings, Elpis would have been more interested in dark magic, particularly necromancy. Her family forbids her…but she learned it in secret despite their disapproval (curious and mischievous just like her father. And definitely not planning to resurrect dead animals and keep them as pets don't worry Fenrir you're still her favorite).

Kratos’ very favorite grandbaby! The moment she's born, he refuses to let anyone hold her...not even his own daughter-in-law. Even Elpis prefers her grandfather (and grunkle Mimir) over her parents (sorry Atreboða fans). They occasionally drop her off at Kratos’ cabin because Elpis kept begging them to see her grandpa!

Loves Mimir and is fascinated by his ability to speak despite being a head. She adores listening to his stories and often pleads him (or Kratos) to tell her a bedtime story whenever she spent the night at her grandpa's!

Kratos carved her a flute made from Ironwood barks on her 11th birthday, which she absolutely loved! He also taught her how to play it, and together they become a musical duo with Kratos playing a lyre (just like when he’s with Calliope). Even animals are drawn by her melodies!

Elpis found it strange by the sense of familiarity she felt towards her grandfather...as if she had known him from a past life.

Because in rare occurrences, Elpis caught a glimpse of herself in some reflections; a fair woman with lighter hair and blue eyes (definitely not Pandora). she never told anyone about this, not even her own parents until she confides this to Mimir...

Some nights, she even dreamed about the same woman (DEFINITELY NOT PANDORA), sometimes from the woman's perspective with Kratos in a different time...

JÖTNAR HERITAGE

Has a keen interest in vulture culture (she got that weird girl energy from her mother)! Angrboða taught her to paint, so Elpis adorn her collection of animal skulls with vibrant patterns. She even wore one as a mask!

Due of her fascination with vulture culture, she started to take up ivory carving! Atreus taught her to carve, so Elpis can wore them as jewelry! She even gave one to her mother as a lucky charm on mother's day!

Has a habit of cleaning/redefining gravestones, especially to those that are unmarked since she always have a deep respect for the dead! If a grave lacks a tombstone, she'll just make one for them! Besides vulture culture and ivory carving, she would take up headstone carving! She gained this experience whenever her family buried one of their wolves or other pets on their own cemetery in Ironwood.

GODHOOD

Has a strong connection with fylgjur in Norse Mythology. She can perceive any spirit animals in every individual through their fylgjur they represent- even herself!

Since the fandom headcanon that Hel would excel in soul magic, even surpassing the most powerful Giants from her Jötnar heritage (and you know damn well she's going to help Sindri found the last fragment of Brok's soul to the afterlife as he deserved), Elpis can also communicate (emotionally and telepathically) with any souls from Gaints' marbles to plants (a "soul language" trait she inherited from her father, but in higher-level)! It's also how she was able to found Andvari whom Sindri had lost, much to Atreus' relief when Elpis asks if they can keep him; and now she keeps Andvari with her at all times whenever she travels alone!

And since the fandom also agreed that Hel can see and communicate with the dead, as well as summon Hel-Walkers, Elpis can also interact (and connect) with deceased animals (especially wolves) due to her parents’ affinity towards them.

Just overall soul/astral manipulation manifested from her godhood (and from what I've seen, everyone seems to agreed that Hel's god powers would likey have to do with death/decay character-wise in Norse Mythology, which I'm also inboard with it).

Because there are times where she caught a quick glimpses of a certain Greek Goddess just around the corner...

Scored a Model 1 Saturn recently. Local game store had it in the back after leaving a Model 2 on display for weeks. Even came with the more expensive official controller without the store marking it up.

Can't wait to stick a Fenrir Duo in this thing. Already grabbed a RAM cart and Japanese S-Video cables back when Suruga-ya was doing the free shipping campaign. This was destined. (In fact I think they're running that again. I should look for more stuff.)

But uhhhhh I guess the gist is that like. It's based heavily on the Poetic Edda + Prose Edda + some of Summer & I's favorite fragmentary info........but aalso we have taken a ton of artistic liberty just for grins and giggles.........and the theme is maybe probably going to have to do with overcoming your fated demise with the power of anime friendship.......

So. First of all. Odin fucking left on a Journey a long ass time ago, told no one where he was going nor why, and Asgard has just kind of been trying to figure out what to do with themselves for a while now.

there is some kind of magic school that 4 of the 5 main characters go to (dont worry abt why theres a magic school. we came up w a reason I literally cant remember rn. Im sure the reason explains the following 2 things better as well). Hel can't be very hands-on but she is sort of overseeing this whole magic school thing. Her brother Fenrir is still bound by the magic ribbon but has been given enough slack to help her out with this.

the 2 MAIN main protagonists are Sunna, daughter of Sol the Sun Goddess, and Hjuki, who was informally adopted by Mani the Moon God (along with his younger sister Bill). Sol and Mani are being chased by wolves rn though :( (There was some more stuff going on w that that I know Ive forgotten as well aggh)

& maybe introduced as Rivals & then later teaming up w them we have Loki and Sigyn's daughter Narfi, along with her cousin (slash informally adoptive brother), Odin's youngest son Váli.

Presumably these teens will get up to some shenanigans. Folks familiar with the Rival Teen Duo will b aware that they have a terrible tragic fate. They Do Not Know This.......Yet. :( This kind of stuff is why we have to destroy fate w the power of friendship bro

Meanwhile on Midgard this elementary schooler is making crop circles every day and she does such a good job and we love her for it.

But seriously Magic was Lost Somehow on Midgard and she and Hjuki are the first humans in a long time to be able to wield it. She takes to it much more naturally than Hjuki, but is too young for magic school and also maybe is so powerful that she might be seen as a problem and therefore needs to be kept secret on Midgard.

Persona 5 AU | v: Take Over

An AU where Naoto is closer to the Phantom Thieves in age because everyone loves having two detectives.

She can be an NPC with little effect on the story, only a Confidant or a Phantom Thief member. There’s no need to follow this strictly if you wish to plot something different from what’s mentioned. Subject to change as I understand the AU more, forgive me lol.

Age: 18, 3rd year. Does not attend Shujin, Kosei or Akechi’s school.

Ranged Weapon: A REAL GUN (Revolver)

Persona: Laelaps → Cerberus → Fenrir

While still known as the Detective Prince in this verse, it quickly becomes a title she shares with another high school detective, Akechi Goro. Thanks to his charisma and willingness to hold interviews, he quickly becomes the more popular out of the Detective Prince duo, and it doesn’t help that she prefers to stay out of the spotlight, along with her annoyance when greeted with reporters and fans.

As she doesn’t have many clients compared to her canon counterpart, her grandfather used his connections and struck a deal with the Tokyo PD, allowing her to take their cases, even though she is a private investigator. The usual limits apply, such as the fact that she can’t arrest anyone. She’s not thrilled to be given the scraps instead of high profile cases, but with Akechi dominating the detective sphere, she’ll take what she can get. Being mistaken for a police inspector instead of a Shirogane detective is but a major annoyance.

The peculiar nature of the mental shutdowns piques her interest, enough that she conducts her own investigation with the scant free time she has, even if Akechi is handling it and all confidential information is unavailable to someone like herself.

After Kamoshida’s confession, the principal hires Naoto to come check the school, mostly to ease the student’s worries—an empty gesture on his part—and keep the school’s reputation stable.

Throughout the investigation, Naoto remains skeptical of the Phantom Thieves. No matter how many news outlets report on them, she feels no need to look further. Once the Phantom Thief craze begins to pick up, the media asks for her opinion on them. Knowing how they reacted to Akechi’s less than satisfactory answers, Naoto lies, saying she’s still in the beginning stages of her own investigation. Miraculously satisfied, they leave, and in order to turn a lie into a truth, she begins looking deeper.

She stumbles onto a conspiracy.

She eventually—well, forced to, really—gives her own thoughts. She doesn’t condemn the Thieves outright, but doesn’t praise them either. They’re an interesting bunch. For now, they seem to work for the public’s benefit. However, if they cross a certain line, she won’t hesitate to track them down.

She doesn’t mention the conspiracy, or the possible thread between the shutdowns and the change of heart. She’d rather not be erased.

If there’s something Naoto’s certain of, it’s that something sinister is occurring behind the scenes.

NPC

The most she’ll be involved with the plot is her appearance at Shujin after Kamoshida’s confession. Her investigation into the conspiracy is a separate matter, but since it involves the Metaverse and other things, she won’t get very far, naturally. If she becomes acquainted with the Thieves, she’ll be none the wiser. Can switch into a Confidant and PT route if desired.

Confidant

She somehow manages to find out the Thieves’ identity. Various reasons can include somehow finding herself in the Metaverse by accident, agreeing to be a secret keeper, etc. I have no default setup yet.

Benefits:

Knowing what to say for other Confidants — Shamelessly stolen from Chihaya.

Probably gives some Mementos Requests

Chance to knock down a random number of enemies after a successful ambush — Only available if Naoto is a party member.

Phantom Thief

Promotion from secret keeper to member. While the change of heart is a method she disagrees with, there’s no better alternative to force a change into the world. Can become one with the same reasons as the Confidant. I have no default setup yet.

Laelaps

The Greek dog best known for being able to catch everything it hunted. Paired with the Teumessian fox, which could never be caught, and you have a paradox, trapped in a vicious cycle. Naoto will break out of it one day, hopefully. Appears as a black dog with glowing red eyes and accompanied by blue flame.

Cerberus

Bound to the House of Hades but is able to do as he sees fit with those attempting to cheat death. Although she’s still bound to the expectations society has, Naoto grows more confident in pursuing the justice she seeks.

Fenrir

A large wolf chained to a rock until Ragnarök, where he will break free from his chains and go on a rampage until killed. Represents how Naoto breaks from the paradox surrounding Laelaps. She’s much more confident in her ability to live up to the family name and follow in their footsteps, and of course, there’s little stopping her in pursuing her justice.

Quick Headcanons:

Doesn’t disguise herself as a guy, although she keeps her hair short and wears masculine clothing. There wasn’t a point in keeping up an act she’d discard eventually.

One of her quests involves a certain fortune teller in Shinjuku. It’s a long one.

Her ideal reality in 3rd Semester involves her deceased parents being... not so deceased anymore.

Chapter 14 Prologue Part 5

We start with Kresnik meeting up with someone at the police station. A new character named Pazuzu, he’s from the Beast Tamers. Kresnik is grateful to them for the meeting. Pazuzu said they won’t turn down a request for the guild that helped them out in CH8. We get a small flashback as a continuation of what happen with the Beast Tamers during CH8. Thanks to that, a alliance between the Beast Tamers and Outlaws was formed. Back to the point, they are we’re about the identity of the victim from the first Ripper case. Kresnik managed to get a sample from his old police connection. The body part has a body tissue of a dragon’s tail of a Dragon Snake. Pazuzu said he’s a reptile expert. Dragon Snake have a certain characteristic, they can change their appearance depending on who sees them. It’s the same with this body part, you can’t truly tell who it belongs to. There is also the possibility that someone from the "Dragon Snake" who happened to be nearby was "identified as being the same" as the victim. Meaning someone set it up to hide the true identity of the victim. It’s the opposite of cause and effect. Kresnik thanks him for the info, it could be useful in negotiation with the three guilds. Pazuzu said he has to go somewhere. Kresnik ask if that wise, gunshot and explosion are happening everywhere right now. Pazuzu said not to worry he has a friend.

We cut to the battlefield with Balor and his men fightning the drones. He thinks about Avagara and we enter another flashback, Balor tells Avarga to go and protect his student and settle things with his rival. He won’t be able ensure their safety. Balor thinks there maybe a reason he was summoned to Tokyo as a old man. Back to the present, Balor and other surviving World Reps are frighting on the front lines. On the other side, The Invaders are getting overrun by the Rule Makers and Entertainers. App users are panicking about which side to join as the all out battle engulfs Tokyo. We cut to Duo saying Tokyo is now the East and South VS the West and Entertainers. You can’t be neutral anymore, you will be forced to pick a side. We cut Barong meeting the new recruits of the Entertainers. Another new character named Amduscias introduce himself, he wants to be an Idol. Barong said if they work together he can become anything and decided he will be his mentor.

We cut to Ueno, where the Rule Makers Angels are telling the Beast Tamers to cooperate with them or die. Leib tells Cusith and Fenrir to don’t resist. The angels tells them to put their hands up, but before Leib does it he press a button in his lab coat. Angel said not all the Beast Tamers are here. It’s a emergency signal to all the other members. At the Ueno dorms, the Rule Makers are searching when they found a cage and are attacked by a Beastman.

Elsewhere in Ueno, we see Pazuzu get harass by the Rule Maker Angels. The angels said the Beast Tamers are on their wanted list and they know everything about them. A new character shows up, Hastur the king of Yellow and a biohazard transient. The angels thought their mask would be enough but poisonous insects got into their suits and paralyzed them. Pazuzu excitedly wants to check every part of his body but Hastur said he’s not a lizard. Pazuzu said it’s fine, his sacred artifact wards off evil.

Back to Bigfoot and MC, Bigfoot continues to be nice to MC and MC ask him what is he plotting. Bigfoot said he wants to protect them that’s all. Ever since he meet them, he loves them. We see Barguest monitoring MC from a distance reporting back to someone. This is another part of his job. Barguest then spots a suspicious person. The person grew a sword and threw it at MC. Barguest ask them why are they targeting MC. The person said his name is Beowulf. He’s here to slash the Dragon Snake. The MC he attacked was a fake. Christine then shows up and said “you look youthful as ever, Game Master Beowulf.” Barguest ask what’s going on. Christine said she set up the fake MC as a substitute. Christine knows the Game Masters are targeting MC, if the trophy is taken out then a new loop will occur. They used their privilege to hide MC from the stage but now. Beowulf said you can’t hide anything from the Game Masters. Christine said they will use their privilege to protect the trophy and that she’s on the audience side.

Back to Bigfoot, a fog sweeps the area. Inside the fog is Kirito. He saids to MC “Long time no see, MC. Do you remember me? I bet you didn’t want to see me. I didn’t want to get involved with you either. Why are you so serious about this game?”. MC asked a Kirito does he know Mononobe. Kirito says he heard a lot about him after he first met MC. But doesn’t know more than than. Kirito said “Well than shall we get to work.” and pulls out his knife towards MC. “It’s not personal, I’m just doing my job.” said Kirito. Bigfoot then steps to protect MC.

One of the best anime crossovers just begging to be done is I’m the Villainess So I’m Taming the Final Boss x Hamefura. Both shows have their own merits and their own creativities..... but....

Aileen: can bake cookies, composed, has ideas of turning land into farms

Katarina: loves baked sweets, chaotic but in a good way, loves farming as stress relief, and has the added bonus of making anyone who meets her immediately fall for her

Both: trying to find a way out from their doom ending

Tell me these two don’t perfectly complement each other! They’re pretty much a perfect duo and boi would I love to see what kind of chaos happens when characters from whole other genres (more serious toned) are thrown into the Hamefura mix 😆 and vice versa!

Plus I think Katarina would have a blast with all those cute critters/ demon fluffs (especially fenrir puppy! Would make excellent friends with Spot, Katarina’s fluff ball)

Essentially this crossover creating an ultimate plot for the whole isekaied as a villainess genre.

Until this becomes a canon crossover (one can only dream haha), fanfics and fanart it is....

It's been about a minute since I've drawn some of my characters and Gren and felt like doodling them up and in anime style too. Will also be including some small details too.

Lyla & Grendel met when they were kids briefly some time ago. Years passed before their worlds would collide. They wouldn't be an official couple until centuries later. There is a prophecy attached to the pair, claiming they'd be the saving grace among the world and beyond, bringing an ancient evil to its knees & make giants fall.

Lyla is half witch and half werewolf. Her father is the descendent of Fenrir and her mother is the daughter of Satan himself and a woman who sold her soul to obtain powers and control.

Next is Bradley Mann (one with the mohawk) He's 850 years old, is half Vampire on mom's side and Satyr on his father's side. Brad is pansexual. He's been friends with both Lyla and Gren since the early 1300s; the duo met Brad when he was set to be hung for petty crimes but was saved by Lyla. The trio began a small 'bounty hunting' gig, developed by the Church, in hopes of keeping peace among all living beings.

Next is Clyde, 'Pinky', the son of Dracula. He's half Vampire and half human. His mother passed during child birth and was raised alone by Dracula. He's 900 years old. Clyde is a soft spoken and a kind hearted person. He came across Lyla and the others when they were traveling through Europe on a job. During the 1950s and 60s, Clyde lived in a van and along the beach. He's a talented artist and enjoys playing guitar. He's straight.

Bruce (one in the beanie) is half Centaur on his father's side and vampire on mom's side. His mom had a one night stand before her wedding night; the man she was set to marry understood and raised Bruce as his own. Bruce use to be in the mafia and was known as the 'Silent plague.' Bruce crossed paths with Clyde when he was traveling in the mountains of Italy and the pair eventually collided with the others and worked beside them. He's a talented opera singer, great with weapons but is painfully shy. Bruce is bisexual. He's almost 1,000 years old.

Last is Tyson 'Dice', the half brother of Lyla. He was conceived before meeting her current husband; it was a night of passion with a vagabond Vampire and she's never seen the man since. Dice is half witch and half Vampire and is quite powerful like his mother. He's very close to Lyla and is protective of his sister. He's the current owner of 4 leaf clover, a tattoo parlor opened up by himself, Brad, Clyde and Bruce. He's homosexual. Dice is 950years old.

"A lone wolf and one with a broken heart will come as one to stop a power thought to be gone. They'd be followed by a wild fire, the roar of a Lion, the call of a single Raven & the blowing wind of a lost soul."

I’m not in a position to call myself a “writer”, but I’ve been able to spread a surprising number of misunderstandings and falsehoods. As for funny jokes, the editor told me about this year’s April Fools Day article on an American site called “Manga Market” saying that “New Mobile Suit Gundam Wing will be made into a live-action movie in Hollywood!” where I am answering the interview. What’s more, in fluent English! Using words I’ve never seen or heard before!

It’s an honor to be treated as such a story, but on the contrary, the Wikipedia entry for “New Mobile Report Gundam Wing”, says, “Sumisawa said, ‘anime otaku and magazine editors can’t keep up with the script (scenario)’”. 

I would like to raise an objection to the article saying who it was aimed at.

What’s more, it even comes with a source (it says it’s from the setting record collection, Part II, which is no longer available!), so from now on, won’t it be misunderstood as a fact for eternity? That remark was spoken by director Masashi Ikeda and directed at me. “Aim for that kind of script” It wasn’t something I said.

Moreover, at the beginning of that sentence, there was the words “not to mention general viewers”. I get the sense that this was a deliberate deletion and change to make Sumisawa the enemy of those people. In that case, you may say that I should submit a change notification, but it is impossible for me, who is not familiar with computers, to ask. Asking the editor is rude and uncool and I wonder if someone would notice it and edit it off, (I don’t say such things) and I spend my days gritting my teeth and being filled with tears.

So dear readers, how are you? I’m the same drunken bastard.

When I started writing this novel, Mr. Torii, the helmsmen of VOYAGE, made an original cocktail called “Frozen Teardrop.” To introduce a little recipe, we mixed crushed ice and absolute currant vodka with a beautiful light blue grapefruit liqueur called “Hypnotic” as a base, blend it in a mixer and freeze it. A red cherry floats in it resembling Mars. The distribution is very difficult, but the point is that there are two small teardrop-shaped cubes inside. This represents Phobos and Deimos.

By the way, cherries can be green and blue so Mars has finished terraforming. This is the most delicious cocktail. When you were younger you two probably just absorbed books, literally just would read together for hours and hours. Then usually crashed and fell asleep at 8 because ray got too tired to continue reading.

If theres one person he trusts with the secret location of the alley cats it's you! (and Fenrir but that's beside the point-) You better keep the secret well!

Tease tease and tease, you'll never see the end of it. Out of everyone to ever exist you're the one who gets teased the most by ray. He can't help it! He just loves your reactions and pouts!

Fenrir Godspeed

Ever imagine what being someones bestest bestest buddy would be like? Well you're in luck because being Fenrirs childhood friend gives you that experience!

Sometimes despite your parents saying no you two would sneak off into the woods and explore! You'd have to hold Fenrirs hand and guide him around due to his fear of ghosts popping up out of the woods with all the scary and random sounds. You two got a huge lecture afterwards but it was super fun.

Nowadays as adults even though you two have gone on different paths, Fenrir joining the black army and you doing whatever you're doing you still got eachothers backs and are there for one another.

When you're introduced to ray and you two become friends you three becomes a inseparable trio!

Luka Clemence

Being childhood friends with Luka most likely means you were raised in a noble and high status family in red territory, this also probably means you were close with jonah as well.

Though you don't interact with the jack much anymore whenever you do it's always special even if it's something as simple as visiting a pastry shop in central quarter together.

If he ever can he'll try too sneak you into the black army headquarters and have you help him cook or just chill in his room.

Luka is more open and talkative with you compared too how he usually is with others, not by much of course but it's the small things that count. Luka feels more comfortable with you and you wouldn't have it any other way.

Seth Hyde

Shopping sprees! He absolutely refuses for his best friend to have no fitting clothes for any occasion! Got some old clothes you wanna get rid of? Seth is already yeeting them all in the trash and grabbing your hand to drag you to a clothes shop.

Self care days with this man are abundance, after going out shopping and talking the day away he'll ask if he can wash and brush your hair and then ask if he can put makeup on you.

Even with being a spy for the magic tower you're the one person other then his sister that he will give anything up too protect. You're the one person who has been there for him, holding his hand since you were children and finding ways through life even with it's struggles. No matter what he knows he will do anything to protect you.

Sirius Oswald

To think you were once friends with a bratty tiny baby sirius only for puberty to hit him like a fucking truck and now he's this hot ass adult man

Being close friends with sirius probably means you got close too lancelot and harr during high school despite you not originally being apart of that group project.

Even if you're not apart of the black army you'll visit by the black army head quarters just to visit sirius and you too take strolls in the garden and talk away the day.

You're also close with the rest of the oswald siblings and they view you as a older sibling figure as it isn't uncommon for you to visit the oswald residence.

EDIT UPDATE 10/14/2023: I noticed another thematic pattern besides the central theme of children murdering their fathers/mothers throughout Godhood. In Norse Mythology, Angrboða is the mother of three legendary monsters while Laufey is the mother of Loki, the Mischievous God. In GOW, Callisto is the mother of Kratos and Deimos, The Ghost of Sparta and the false prophesied of the Marked Warrior. Loki and his monster children share a special motif together as Bound Monsters: Enemies of Gods and destined to break free from their restraints in some ways to cause mayhem during Ragnarök. Kratos and possibly Deimos fits the description as Bound Monsters. Olympians and Æsir Gods, especially Odin, were foretold about their doomsday and both pantheons predestined themselves the moment they forestall their prophecy. Deimos was bounded as Thanatos' prisoner when he's mistaken as the "Marked Warrior," was made into an enemy of Gods, and was broken free from his restraints when rescued.

Despite his death, he still partaken into obliterating the God of Death while Kratos, obviously, delivered the final blow. Even though he wasn't the prophesied warrior, his character almost fits the motif. The events before the Norse Saga would have ended the same if his role were in reverse. And going over the timeline where Ascension took place before God of War (2005); Kratos was bounded and tortured in chains after the Furies captured him until he broke free from his restraints afterwards. He was also bounded by his oath until Orkos died in his request so both can break free from their bonds with Ares.

In other words; Kratos broke free from of his restraints to kill Ares, but is destined to overthrow Olympus with the army of titans for sworn vengeance while he spread chaos throughout the Greek world. Similar to how Loki was tortured in his bounds until he broke free from his restraints while destined to lead an army along with Surtr to overthrow the Æsir Gods for sworn vengeance with most of his children, Fenrir and Jörmungandr, causing natural disasters throughout the lands during Ragnarök.

In conclusion; Callisto gave birth to two monsters that one of whom made another monster with Faye who later on made more monsters with Angrboða. Which makes them analogically and symbolically "Mothers of Monsters" in both senses. In ironic twist of fate, we can say that Callisto is the first "Mother of Monsters" since she is a monster herself through Zeus' curse.

And what's even worst is that despite Kratos' outlook from 2018, he also made a bloodline of God killers through Loki as they're destined to anguish before most of them meets their deaths; which is tessellated in Bound Monsters. and the only person who could break the circle of Bound Monsters is Calliope. Still sad she was quickly abandoned back in Elysium before we get to know more about her character...so yeah. While we're not following the complete accuracy in GOW, I just hope nothing too bad happens to our main (father and son) duo, but I doubt it. Can't wait to see how Atreus would play out in Ragnarök! Just wanted to write this down before it comes out sooner or later. it's possible that Atreus would have taken a different path similar to the OG Norse Mythos if Kratos had died as prophesied...thought it's interesting to write this down.
