It’s rough but coming together
Updated art for “Emergency Monster Team”
Tumblr media
Currently I’m adding art from the mini comic I am working on into the background to help show the hospital grounds I have in game. I need to color that up too. I think this layout will really get things set off on the start screen to show who Nadel’s teammates are.
Tumblr media
On the right side of this pic are the original pencil lines I did, on the left are the digital pencils. I decided to drop that in exchange for the ambulance. The main reason I went with this is to move the flow of the viewers eyes to the left side, because that;s where the UI is with the “START” “LOAD” and “OPTIONS” are located.

PSA from a dumb shit idiot
the in-game UI/settings backup does not save your account-wide macros. it only saves macros per character. if you use shared macros for complex UI operations like a full suite of pop-out hotbars, and you are depending on this feature to transfer these macros, you will have to redo them. backup your .cfg files and character-specific .dat files located in Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn and put them somewhere that even you can't possibly lose them. the game tells you this, but if you're like me and you forget all basic forms of literacy when text is too boring, you will never see this information
penumbra and glamourer backups are located in AppData\Roaming\XIVLauncher\backups by default. these are useful to upload to perhaps a cloud drive. maybe even a discord server. you could email them to yourself. you could put them on an external drive of some kind. in case you do not want to remake 69 outfits from scratch and recategorize all your mods
those fancy marty mcfly reshade shaders you paid for to Support The Creator? they clean the patreon permissions out every couple of months and you won't be able to download the thing you paid access to get. "i can download them later" LMAO clowned on. put them somewhere safe, brain genius
more hot file migration tips to come as new crises emerge

WORD COUNT: 3.4k
SUMMARY: Following a drunk night you realize you sent some voice messages to your childhood best friend about having feelings for him. Panic sets in when he leaves you on read with no reply.
Tumblr media
This fic is part of ❄️ FANFICmas 2022 ❄️ Read more about fanficmas here!
“Oh my God, his car is on Anne’s driveway!”
You burst through the front door like the house is on fire, ripping your coat and scarf off of you while kicking your boots off. Your mom didn’t understand what you said, she just heard you act like there’s an emergency, so she runs out of the kitchen, her hands covered in flour, looking at you with wide eyes.
“What happened? Is the Christmas tree on fire?” she asks and you shake your head.
“Worse. Harry is home!” you groan before running upstairs, her laughter echoing behind you.
“I’m sure it will be alright, Honey!”
“Nothing will be alright mom!” you shout back before shutting the door of your childhood room behind you.
This is not how you imagined returning for the holidays, you ruined it all with one drunk night when you couldn’t control yourself and sent the absolute worst voice messages to your childhood best friend, Harry. The Harry Styles, the guy half the world is in love with.
And you’re part of that half, have been since you were about twelve.
ONE WEEK EARLIER
“Oh my God, I really shouldn’t drink another one,” you snort out a laugh, but take the tequila shot from Nara anyway.
“Come on, it’s our Friendmas, we all agreed to get smashed!” Cindy shrieks, clearly drunk, because her blonde hair has stray strands that escaped her always neat bun and she never allows her hair to be anything but perfect.
“Alright, alright, cheers!” you snort out a laugh as you clink your glasses together for the fifth time before chugging down the shots.
You can’t help but grimace as the liquid slips down your throat, burning your inside. Deep down you know you’ll regret all this alcohol in the morning when you’ll feel like dying, but tonight, you’re letting loose.
Your phone lights up on the table and you snatch it with a groan, trying to focus on the screen to see who just texted you.
HARRY: Alright, just text me when you get home so I know you didn’t die. Xx
You snort out a laugh, because you can actually hear him say it in your head.
“Oh, I’m guessing the rockstar has texted Y/N!” Nara laughs and you pull your shoulders up to your ears giggling.
“Stop!”
“When are you guys gonna have toe curling sex?” Cindy bluntly asks, grabbing her mojito from the table, trying to wrap her plump lips around the straw, but she misses several times before succeeding.
“Shut up, never!” you gasp, but warmth instantly crawls up your neck to your cheeks.
“Oh, come on!” Nara rolls her eyes. “You’re clearly in love with him and I’m sure he feels the same way. What’s stopping you?”
“It’s complicated, he doesn’t… He doesn’t love me that way,” you mumble, typing a reply to him that’s full of typos probably.
“You’re missing out, babe,” Cindy points at you, attempting to wink.
“You’ve definitely imagined what you’d say to him,” Nara grins at you. “Let us hear it!”
“No!” you protest.
“Yes! Let’s hear how you’d beg him to dick you down on the stage of Maddison Square Garden!” Cindy laughs like hyena and you gape at how unhinged she has become.
“Jesus,” you sigh, knowing they won’t leave you alone until you comply. “Okay, so I always imagined sending him voice messages, because he says he loves them, because he can listen to them anytime he wants.”
You look at your friends, pretending to hold your phone to your mouth, as if you were actually recording.
“Spicy,” Cindy giggles.
“What would you tell him?” Nara grins with glassy eyes.
“Something like… Hey, it’s Y/N.”
“Why would you say it’s you, he would literally be in his text messages with you,” Cindy cocks her head to the side.
“Shut up, Cindy!” Nara pokes her, making you laugh. “Go on!”
“Okay, so… There’s something I really want to tell you and I don’t think I can keep it a secret anymore. I’ve been madly in love with you since seventh grade, Harry. None of the guys I dated ever compared to you and I’m convinced I might die alone if we don’t get together.”
You let out a laugh, gesturing around with your phone in hand. You even almost drop it, Cindy shrieking and attempting to catch it, but you manage to keep it in your hand.
“Where’s the dirty part?” Nara asks.
“Yeah, you should tell him you want to suck his dick dry,” Cindy nods, taking another sip from her drink.
“I could never tell him about the things I’ve fantasized about in the past decade,” you laugh with your head falling back.
“But you can tell us!” Nara nods enthusiastically.
“No! I’m not… I want to keep that to myself, but let’s just say everything his fans thought of… I thought of those too.”
All three of you laugh before you venture to other topics and Harry gets forgotten. The night stretches long, it’s past three in the morning by the time you get back to your apartment. Even drunk, you remember Harry asked you to text him when you get home, so falling into bed you muster up some energy to open up his messages. Your fingers linger over the screen as you try to put together your thoughts, but all of them vanish when you see the last things you sent him.
Voice messages.
There are several of them after your last text to him. Blood rushes out of your head instantly as you sit up, suddenly wide awake. You tap on the first one and your voice flows out of your phone with the background noises of the bar.
“---and I don’t think I can keep it a secret anymore. I’ve been madly in love with you since seventh grade, Harry.”
“Oh no,” you gasp as you go to the next one.
“---convinced I might die alone if we don’t get together.”
Frantically you go over all of them, wishing the ground would open and it would swallow you forever.
“You should tell him you want to suck his dick dry.” Cindy’s voice is heard in the next one.
“---keep that to myself, but let’s just say everything his fans thought of… I thought of those too.”
The last message cuts off after your laughter. You’re staring at your phone in utter disbelief, part of you hoping the voice messages would just disappear from the thread and you’d realize you’re just too drunk and made up the whole thing.
But they remain there, and when your eyes wander lower you see the word that almost sends you into a coma.
Read 2:34 am
TODAY
Christmas was your favorite time, because both you and Harry returned to where you met when you were kids, but this year, your little trick ruined it all.
Harry hasn’t replied to your voice messages, not even to the text you sent him in the morning, trying your best to put out the fire you just lit.
Y/N: I can explain this, Harry. I got drunk, I didn’t know what I was talking, it was all just an accident! Can we pretend I didn’t send those messages? Please???
You guess his silence is a reply too, not the one you wanted though.
Now you’re locked up in your old room as you hear your mom greeting her friends for her usual Christmas party she holds every year. Normally you’d be down there, sipping on some wine, mingling, but this year, you might not even show your face.
Not when you know Harry could be already down there.
Maybe he is not coming. Maybe he was so traumatized by your voice messages that he will never ever want to see or talk to you. If that’s the case, you’ll probably die, because he is your best friend, but facing him right now also makes you want to vanish from this world.
You fucked yourself over. Big time.
“Y/N?” you hear a knock on the door from your mom as you’re anxiously pacing the floor. She opens the door and stands with her hands on her hips. “Stop acting like a baby and come down, will you?”
“Is he here?”
“No, Anne came alone,” she sighs.
At first you’re relieved. But then you realize that he might actually never want to talk to you again because of those stupid messages and that feels way worse.
Unwillingly, you join the party downstairs, but you try to avoid Anne. She is so close to Harry, there’s a chance he told her what happened and there’s no way you can look into her eyes after that.
It’s probably not the best idea, but you have some wine that makes you dizzy and you get into a spiral about Harry.
Why didn’t he reply to your messages? He could have at least reacted or told you it’s better if you never talk. You’ve known him for so long, it’s the least you deserve. Is he home alone now? He would rather stay back than to face you? Is this really the end of your friendship?
“Oh fuck,” you mumble under your breath as you decide it’s time to slow down on the alcohol, since it’s what got you in trouble in the first place, so put your glass into the dishwasher.
“Everything alright?”
Anne’s voice makes you jump and you’re met with her warm smile when you turn around.
“Yeah!” you squeak. “Everything is… perfect!”
She’s come to get a refill and you watch her as if she was a ticking bomb. But she is her usual self, there’s no sign of pity towards you, so there’s a chance she doesn’t know what happened between you and Harry.
“Where… Where’s Harry?” you ask, trying your best not to sound like an obsessed psycho.
“Oh, he had a meeting or whatever. He said he’ll come right over when he’s done, but maybe he got stuck in front of his laptop,” she chuckles. “I’m sure he’ll be here soon, don’t worry,” she pats your hand before walking out of the kitchen.
From that moment, your stomach drops every time you hear the front door opening, thinking it’s Harry, but as two hours pass by you start to think that he won’t come. You keep checking your phone, hoping for a message, but only seeing your pathetic last text every time you open the thread is like a slap across your face.
You really messed up because you were drunk and you outed yourself in such a ridiculous way. Now your best friend doesn’t even want to see you.
The party comes to its end, the house empties out and you get into a lethargic mood as you help your mom clean up.
“Why don’t you just go over and talk to him, hm?” she asks seeing your bitter face.
“It’s pretty obvious he doesn’t want to talk,” is all you say.
You lock yourself up in your room for the rest of the night, acting like a heartbroken teenager. You can’t believe this is how you lose Harry, your best friend, the boy you grew up with and the only man you ever truly loved.
It’s sometime past ten when you hear knocking. On your window.
“What the—“
As you sit up and walk over to the window you almost get a heart attack when you see Harry squatting in front of your window that’s right above the garage. Growing up it gave you the perfect opportunity to sneak out, because you could easily climb out without your mom noticing and Harry also used it as his entrance quite a few times. But now as you see the grown version of him there, your mind goes blank as you open the window.
“What… Harry, what are you doing?” you ask as he gestures at you to step back so he can climb in.
“God, this went easier when I was fifteen,” he chuckles when he is finally standing in your room.
“Harry, would you mind explaining why you didn’t use the front door?” you ask, folding your arms over your chest.
“Because your mum is probably asleep and I didn’t want to wake her.”
“Why didn’t you come in the morning then?”
“Because I wanted to talk,” he replies with a smug grin.
It’s odd to see grown Harry in your old room, you have tons of memories with him from when you were kids, but he is a man now, a tall, ridiculously good-looking man in your room that still has your old posters on the yellow walls.
“Talk?” you squeak, anxiety creeping up its way on your spine again.
“Mhm, about your messages. Remember them?” he asks and while you’re debating whether you should jump out the window or play dead, he is smirking at you as if it was all just a joke to him.
“I do,” you nod shortly.
“Anything to add to them?”
“Nope,” you say, but then change your mind. “Actually, I do have something to add.”
“Okay, go on, I’m listening,” he nods, still grinning as he leans against your dresser.
“Leaving me on read was rude. I might have sent you some unhinged, unexpected messages, but I apologized in the morning and you left me on read! And then you didn’t show up at the party, you made me think you never want to talk to me again. That was very rude.”
He stares back at you, his head tilted to the side and you feel the urge to hit him if he doesn’t wipe that smirk off of his face.
“I know. And I’m sorry for that,” he finally says. “But I felt like it’s not a conversation I want to have over text messages.
“Um, okay…”
Pushing himself away from the dresser he starts to approach you slowly while you’re backing at the same time, but the room is not too spacious, your back quickly hits the wall.
“The messages were unexpected,” he points out the obvious. “I have to say, when I listened to them in the middle of the night, I didn’t know what to think.”
“It was an accident, we got drunk and we were just messing around.”
“Clearly,” he chuckles. “So then… did you mean it?”
“What?”
“The things you said. That you’re madly in love with me and that you might end up dying alone if we don’t get together.”
Hearing the words from his mouth makes your head spin as you stare back at him on the verge of the biggest turning point of your friendship. For a moment you hesitate, consider saying it was just a joke, but you’re also too tired to keep it a secret any longer.
“Yes,” you finally say, your heart drumming in your ears.
He stares at you for what feels like forever, the corners of his mouth curling up and you see a little nod from him before he backs away from you so he’s not cornering you anymore.
“Good,” he then says and you wait for more, because that one word can’t be his reaction alone, he has to have more to say. But he remains silent, the smirk still plastered across his face and you finally lose your patience with him.
“Good? That’s really all you have to say? You know what? You’re an asshole! I might have sent you the most awkward and unhinged messages, but you left me on fuckin read and now all you say is good, but nothing is good! If this is just a joke to you, then maybe we—“
The words die on your tongue when his lips smash against yours, his hands locking your face in his palms as he kisses all your worries, fears and anxiety away. He pushes you against the wall again, his hips pressing against yours and you can’t hold a moan back when his tongue meets yours. Your head bumps against the light switch over and over again and it takes some time to realize that you keep turning the lights on and off in the room.
You grin against his lips and he keeps kissing them as you let out a laugh, your hands holding onto his slim waist.
“If you think…” he keeps kissing you, “That I’m done scolding you…” more kisses, “For leaving me on read… you’re wrong.”
“Scold me, punish me,” he chuckles, pressing a kiss to the corner of your mouth. “Do whatever you want.”
“Naughty,” you giggle.
He kisses you some more before pulls back, a more serious look on his face.
“I’m sorry for leaving you on read, but I really wanted to see your pretty face when I tell you that I’ve been madly in love with you too.”
Your heart is about to burst out of your chest at his words, the pain you felt in the past week already long forgotten when you see how he is looking at you.
“You’re not just pulling my leg? It’s not just a Christmas prank, right?”
“No,” he chuckles. “I just can’t believe this is how it happened.”
“I’m never drinking again,” you groan, but he just kisses your cheek.
“It’s fine, you can always send me dirty voice messages,” he smirks playfully.
“You’ll never let me live it down, right?” you sigh and he shakes his head grinning.
“Nope.”
“Alright, then I will tease you about leaving me on read.”
“Tease me all you want, as long as I get to kiss you afterwards,” he mumbles as he leans closer, brushing his lips against yours teasingly before finally kissing you.
ONE YEAR LATER
There is not one finger Harry has free as he pushes his way into his home, dozens of shopping bags hanging from him everywhere. With a groan he kicks the front door closed behind him and drops everything to the floor, finally feeling his fingers again.
“Babe?” he calls you, a bit frustrated that you didn’t come out to the car to help him carry the bags in and he is way too proud to make two rounds, so he had to do it all at once, resulting in him becoming a Christmas tree himself.
He walks further into the home he’s been sharing with you this past six months, looking for your pretty face to ask what was so important that you couldn’t help him.
To be exact, you left him on read when he texted you that he’s arrived.
“Y/N?” he calls for you again and he finally hears your footsteps approaching from the bedroom. Moments later you appear in your silky robe, an oblivious smile on your face.
“Hey babe!” you greet him and he forces himself to ignore how deliciously cozy you look with your freshly washed hair, makeupless face and he can smell your lotion even from across the room.
“Why didn’t you come out to help me with the bags?” he huffs, pouting his lip as you approach him gracefully. “I texted you and you saw it!”
“Oh,” you breathe out furrowing your eyebrows. “You mean… I left you on read when I should have definitely replied? Hm, that sounds like something that happened before to us.” You tap on your chin, pretending to be thinking and he finally realizes what it’s about.
“Babe…” he groans, but a chuckle slips from his lips. “Am I still not forgiven for that?”
“Never,” you grin at him devilishly as you step closer, placing your hands to the base of his neck.
“This was rude, I had to carry all the stuff on my own!” he pouts his lips at you like a little kid, his hands finding your waist.
“Aw, I’m sorry. I was busy, actually, so I couldn’t help.”
“What was so important?” he asks, narrowing his eyes at you.
You step back, his hands slipping off your hips and you gift him with an angelic smile as you untie your robe and let it slide off your shoulders, revealing the sparkly red lingerie set you’re wearing underneath. Harry’s mouth hangs open instantly, his eyes roaming your body relentlessly.
“Is this a good enough excuse?” you ask, batting your eyes at him.
“Yeah, you’re forgiven!” he nods eagerly as he steps closer just to pick you up bridal style and he carries you back to the bedroom as you laugh, pressing kisses to his jawline, the grocery bags long forgotten in the hallway.
Thank you for reading, please like and reblog if you enjoyed and buy me a coffee if you want to support me!

Okay, I've posted a lot of random stuff here..but this post might be the strangest:
I had a nightmare about Splatoon. Now, hear me out, this is how it went from what I remember (trying to post relatively early while it's still fresh in my head.)
Tumblr media
Fig 1. I was playing Salmon Run, as normal, with randoms on Sockeye Station.
2. Then, we were suddenly thrown into an Xtrawave., but the "Emergency!" message didn't show up, instead it went straight into the "King Salmonid summoning cutscene".
3. Speaking of which, there was this really weird version of the Cohozuna cutscene where he was shown in an almost full-body shot and was wearing what looked a bit like a hospital gown. He didn't roar, instead there was a close up on one of his "hands", and it looked like he was holding something tucked against his body.
4. Going back into gameplay I immediately noticed that the UI was saying that everyone had disconnected, including myself.
5. Then the game straight up turned into one of those early videogame creepypastas. I was in a new map that kinda looked like Spawning Grounds, but completely flat and with no "environmental features" aside from a few blocks in the background. All the Salmonids were frozen in place and staring at my character and I couldn't move. Coho was teleporting around like a evil wizards (not even doing his jumps, and he was wearing his normal outfit again).
6. Then bro teleported right in front of me (like when he's aggroed and he's chasing you) and a text box came up, but it was empty, not even Mr.Grizz's character icon was there. Then my game crashed.
7. Splatoon 3 closed down and my Switched helpfully informed me that I had encountered a "rare error" with no error code.
I was so distraught and troubled by this I woke up....I swear it was way scarier than it sounds typing it all out.
Has anyone else ever had dreams about Splatoon?

Alternatives to RARBG for Free
Best Sites Like RARBG to Search and Download Torrents with these best RARBG Alternatives currently available on the web.
RARBG is a popular torrent site or torrent provider that was founded in 2008. It provides its millions of users with a massive collection of torrent links and magnetic links from various genres such as movies, TV shows, games, e-books, and much more. Due to legal issues, the site was shut down in December 2008 (the same year it was founded). Allegations included a violation of entertainment laws.
And the site was taken down for a week due to BREIN's legal pressure (an association that is responsible for the protection of the rights of the Entertainment industry Netherland). Many alternatives have emerged since then via the internet. There are numerous options available. So, to save you the trouble of searching for them individually, we decided to put together a list of the Best RARBG Torrent Alternatives for your convenience.
Alternatives to RARBG Torrent
Tumblr media
Here are the Best Free RARBG Torrent Alternatives to satisfy your desire for Torrent Files.
1. The Pirate Bay
When it comes to torrent search engine alternatives, the world-famous Pirate Bay is always at the top of the list. This torrent behemoth serves millions of users across a variety of genres, including movies, TV shows, games, registered software, e-books, and much more. Among its many strengths are its massive torrent file library and regularly updated index. The speed is adequate.
2. 1337x
1337x is one of the most rapidly growing torrent search engines in recent history. 1337x is the most versatile torrent provider due to its beautiful UI, massive library, and availability of adult content on the platform. The speed is incredible. Many users consider this to be their primary source of torrent links for their favourite movies and television shows. Furthermore, there are numerous torrent links for cartoons, games, software, and other items.
3. LimeTorrents
Nothing beats Lime torrents as a trustworthy and verified torrent provider. It is the most trusted source of torrent files, serving millions of people worldwide. Its main highlights are an extensive collection of torrent files on various genres such as movies, anime, games, and software. Except for one major disadvantage (for many), there are no links to adult content on this platform.
4. Yify Torrents
The most recommended torrent search engine for movies and TV shows is YTS or Yify (both are the same). The platform has the largest collection of torrent files related to movies and television shows. The content on this page is constantly updated and is available in 3D and high-definition quality. As an added bonus, many new releases take place here. So, if you enjoy Hollywood blockbusters and spicy American TV shows, Yify is worth a look.
5. Torrents.io
Torrents.io is a conglomeration of popular torrent websites. This platform gathers torrent files from a variety of torrent sites, such as The Pirate Bay, 1337x, LimeTorrents, and many others. The user interface is visually appealing. The tempo is quick. The torrent service provider also provides a wide range of genres, including movies, cartoons, games, and Porn. In a nutshell, everything is centralised.
6. Extra torrent
Extra torrent includes features such as a user interface and a library index for the user. This platform is one of the internet's most well-known independent torrent providers. It has a large collection of torrent files and allows users to upload their own without any technical difficulties. Regrettably, the website has been removed from the internet by legal authorities.
7. Zooqle.com
Zooqle.com, which sounds similar to Google, is a non-profit internet indexing service used by millions of people around the world. The website includes both torrent files and magnetic links to please users. It also employs the BitTorrent protocol, which enables seamless peer-to-peer file sharing. The only disadvantage is the user interface. It falls short of expectations and occasionally annoys users with intrusive advertisements.
8. Library Origins
LibGen (Library Genesis) is the only dedicated ebook torrent provider available online. It has a massive library that includes thousands of articles, ebooks, and limited edition releases. Readers can look through any ebook they want here. The user interface is fantastic, and the speed is adequate. The website was also embroiled in a controversy over a database that still contained paywalled articles and some academic content. But it went through it flawlessly and is now serving millions of people worldwide.
9. Kat.to
Kat.to, also known as KickassTorrent, is the world's most popular and controversial torrent search engine that is still in operation. It has a massive library of torrent files in a variety of genres, including movies, TV shows, software, games, and e-books.
10. TorrentReactor
Torrent Reactor ranks tenth on the list, thanks to its massive torrent file library. It is also one of the most trusted torrent providers. The website provides a massive collection of torrent files in categories such as movies, TV shows, cartoons, games, software, and much more. The search engine falls under the category of latest torrent providers, with a regularly updated index and the option of popular and latest torrents. To your surprise, authorities have taken down the website.
11. ISOHunt
The first legal torrent provider on this list is ISOHunt. It enables the user to legally download torrent files. The website has a large collection of torrents from various genres such as movies, TV shows, cartoons, new releases, and much more. However, the user interface is a shambles. However, speed is advantageous. Everything else is the same as it is with other torrent providers.
12. BitSnoop
BitSnoop, a new and distinct name in the category of torrent search engines, estimates serving 24 million torrent files to its users. The website is proud to have one of the internet's largest torrent file databases. The user interface is adequate. The speed is also acceptable. Without a doubt, BitSnoop will soon be among the most popular torrent providers.
So those are some of the best RARBG torrent alternatives. Please let us know in the comments section if you found this useful. That would be fantastic to hear.

okay so if moon kills sig. imma. imma need to know how/why/WHAT HAPPENS,,,,please,,,evil fucked up moon is making my brain go brrrr
OKAY SO
Let me start from the beggining
So in this au, everything is the same up until just after survivor/Monk timelines. Then, after a rain, she gets caught on something as the room is emptying out of water. So she tries to get loose, but by the time she can most of the water has drained, and she falls straight to the ground.
It damages her lenses, and her forhead symbol (in my headcanon its a glass thing with her personality processors in it.). So, this knocks her out and her systems desperately try to reboot. It pieces together what it can without her, but it takes several cycles. More drownings where internal mechanics are now entirely exposed to the water damage. Her personality gets scrambled.
Her memories however, remain. At least, the ones that she could remember in the first place.
At some point after waking back up, she'd get this sort of itch. Call it phantom pain, that itch or pain you get where a limb used to be. It's her structure but it's so infinitely frustrating and disorienting that in a fit of discomfort and rage she manages to rip herself off the arm.
Anyways after this she would sort of wonder what to do, still sticking around in that chamber for a bit. Then some scavengers would come by. They do sometimes but they visited today. Usually she can't move or do anything threatening appearing to them but she looks entirely different now, and out of a sort of "holy shit, creatures" she moves towards them which freaks them out and one throws a warning spear. This makes moon jump, but there isnt really anything she can do to show she wont do anything. spear into the chest. Directly into the memory processor.
This makes her neurons freak and try to save any memory they can. 3 are eaten by scavengers as Moon is sort of frozen with a spear sticking out of her, not even being able to process the intense pain she is in from the neuron losses and the spear itself. Some wires cross and something sparks.
Almost instinctually, she rips the spear out and one-shots a scavenger reaching for another neuron. scary fast she kills the other three in her chamber. And then with so few memories left, she stores those precious two neurons away within herself. She barely remembers a lot now. But what she does know is that pebbles put her in this position. And due to the personality scramble... she's fucking pissed about it.
After this she goes on a murder rampage towards Pebbles, killing anything that bothers her too much.
Shed get to Pebbles, who'd see her coming but be unable to do anything about it, a stressful encounter, and then shed yank out his umbilical wires, and take him off his arm. She'd do so in such a way that he cannot do anything else except for deteriorate. The horrid fate of a thing that can't die in any way that counts.
His would of course cancel out Pebbles lock down and all processes, immediately lowering steam output. This is noticed.
Moon then decides to visit her old bestie, now done with her main rage but still missing screws yknow.
(During this ui is immediately investigating the situation at pebbles.)
Anyways, Moon gets to sig all like "miss me?" Sig is freaked, but excited that they can both hang out again. Some way or another though sig finds out what Moon did and is highkey unnerved. Plus her personality is a lot different than it used to be so its... bothering.
Moon overhears a call between sig and Suns where sig expresses the concerns, and then moon gets pissed, unplugs sig on call, then tells Suns she's coming for him next.
Anyways, after that it becomes a chain. From sig toSuns, suns told wind, so she goes there next, and then ui manages to be the last girl and send put an emergency sos before dying and let's the whole iterator kind that can recieve messages that there is an iterator on the loose, and that she is dangerous.
From then on its kill kill kill baby
Btw with the different accessories:
Purple scarf: sig
Green ribbon: wind
Orange infinity scarf/armband: peb
Pearl bracelet: inn
Antennae clip: suns

Backlog from early May 2023. A brother has fallen... 😔🙏
Been wanting to draw my iteration of Odd's family for a while now! Odd's sisters were never officially shown on screen and we only know them by name. Judging by the conversation he had on the phone in S4 where he deliberately missed his flight due to a Lyoko emergency, I assumed that Adele might be the sibling he's closest to and the youngest sister since he confidently greeted his other sister Pauline by mistakenly calling her Adele.
The social media screenshot UI was inspired by Instagram and Tumblr. Usernames and their account owners: - xoddballx (Odd) - macrolini (Pauline, Odd's fourth sister) - adelweiss (Adele, Odd's fifth sister) - margueritedellarobbia (Odd's mom) - saberstern (Ulrich) - dj_aelita (Aelita)
This takes place in my spin-off/original story Project UNCIA with Odd as the protagonist and the Lyoko Warriors are in their early twenties.

Hi Jerrod! I'm a college student taking a music appreciation class, and I have to use the musician I talked about on Day 1 for a project, and that so happened to be you, haha. Is there anyone who has inspired you musically for some of your horror work like Kiss Me/Kill me (which happens to be the song I chose cause honestly? A bop). Thank you so much in advance!
Hmm. Honestly, in cases like that one, I don't really have any conscious inspirations aside from the obvious song itself (as I've mentioned in the past, Kiss Me was mainly inspired by hearing the song on the radio and really listening to the lyrics for the first time and thinking "woah what if she keeps asking to be kissed next to increasingly-creepy things" lol). Started with the lyrics, then once I got the vocals back from Juliëtte I just started with "basic cover of the original song, then just see where I can take it".
The previous work "The Boys are Back (to kill you)" was a much more subdued 'remix', in that many elements were a 1:1 recreation (the backing guitar and bass are remade but mostly adhere to the original) or direct sample (that lead guitar riff) that I built up on in a more subtle way - different drums, lil blips and bloops here and there, but more of a cover than a remix in vibes. Kiss Me starts in a similar way, there's some added synths but it's mostly a close following of the original track with minor embellishments. But as part of the bait-and-switch (in that the listener was intended to assume it's the same situation as the previous one, both in terms of the remix style and the vocals being a sentence-mix), the plan was to just keep winging it in a new direction and see what happens.
Like most of my stuff, the rest kinda formed in this real hazy-to-remember bout of extreme productivity and luck. It's kinda like one of those cartoon fights where you just see a dustcloud and the occasional fist - like I'll zone out (or I guess in) into this very intensely-focused session for hours, and emerge having made a ton of progress thinking "I honestly don't remember how I got here". Sadly can't do it on command (hence my usual low output), but in this case I left everything so last-minute that the stress of the Halloween deadline was really propelling me forward, haha.
Come to think of it, is any of this useful at all? Was the project specifically just about inspirations? If so, kinda sucks that I guess I just went "huh, not really", sorry about that. Obvs not trying to claim my work is immaculate and wholly original and incomparable or whatever (it sure ain't), just that any inspirations for this one were more just my own ingrained inspirations and less conscious ones that I could pinpoint and list, yknow?
A lot of people think Boys are Back was inspired by Neil Cicierega. Which I totally get (on multiple levels, both the sentence-mixed mashup PLUS the "creepy old 90's-style computer UI" stuff are SO his bag), but tbh his work wasn't a direct inspiration in this case, it was mostly another accident. Maybe kind of a "man invents Frankenstein 200 years after Mary Shelley" vibe for sure. Though funnily enough it does take a lil conscious inspiration from one of Neil's works in a less-expected way, in that a distant memory of his track "Super Hey Ya" popped into mind while I was partway through the remix and inspired the lil bouncy chip-arps you hear from 0:50 onward. SHY came to mind on account of being what I guess I'd call an "additive remix", in which he took the whole song and put his own additions on top of it, which was only partially the case for TBaB but it was a bit of a similar process (I specifically remember thinking like "ok so I've got this pretty direct cover of the backing track, I don't want to go full capital-R Remix here but let's add some lil embellishments... oh hey, remember Super Hey Ya?").
Is any of this helpful? Sorry I couldn't really answer the question in a very satisfying way.

UIS Prequel (3/?)
Wukong's eyes widened in horror as the ink continued to spread, creeping up his arm with alarming speed. "Ne Zha, what's happening?" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with panic.
Despite the fact that the both of them are in a life or death situation, he managed to mutter out one thing.
"Run."
Powered by pure adrenaline, Wukong didn't even think to question what Ne Zha was saying or why he was saying it, and straight up dashed to the exit of the temple.
It was his first time in a long time that he ran with his legs instead of using his trusty ol' cloud, but he managed to pull through and exited the temple, THEN summoning the cloud and fleeing from the celestial realm itself.
The wind whipped against his face as he flew with reckless abandon, his mind consumed by thoughts of escape and survival.
...
Hours passed as Wukong journeyed through the heavens, his cloud carrying him swiftly towards the mortal realm below. As he descended towards familiar territory, a sense of relief washed over him.
Home, sweet home. Or, well, technically his second home, as his hut was sadly destroyed by Azure.
Descending from the sky, Wukong landed gracefully outside Macaque's dojo, his cloud dissipating into thin air. He pushed open the door and stepped inside, grateful for the temporary refuge.
The dojo was quiet, save for the soft sound of rustling leaves outside. Wukong glanced around the familiar surroundings, a sense of nostalgia washing over him. It had been too long since he last set foot in this place. Too, too long.
The fact that Macaque had clearly used this dojo as a living area made Wukong concerned. How would he feel if he just saw him covered in ink? Calligraphy mishap?
He chuckled at how foolish he was to assume that.
Nonetheless, Wukong searched for a dark, secluded area to stay in for at least just a fleeting moment as his brain wracked with possible scenarios, good and bad.
As Wukong settled into the shadows of the dojo, his mind raced with worry and uncertainty. The events of the celestial realm weighed heavily on him, the memory of Ne Zha's warning echoing in his ears.
...
A few days had already passed, and Wukong hasn't gotten any better. Worse, actually. He could feel himself slipping away. Yet, his mind could only think of bittersweet memories of the past. Could this be an effect of the ink?
It has noticeably spread more as well. It was originally only around his hand and forearm, but it spread to his face and around one of his eyes too. How ironic.
Lost in his thoughts, Wukong failed to notice the faint rustle of leaves outside the dojo. But as the sound grew louder, a figure emerged from the darkness, his eyes glinting with curiosity.
As you might have guessed, it was Macaque. Immediately, he sensed something was wrong, and his eyes immediately scanned the dojo.
Macaque's keen gaze fell upon Wukong, his expression shifting from curiosity to concern as he took in the deteriorating state of his friend.
The sight of Wukong, his once vibrant and...admittedly annoyingly energetic behavior was now overshadowed by the encroaching darkness of the ink.
"Wukong," Macaque said softly, his voice laced with immense concern. "What...what the hell?"
Wukong wanted to explain–no–he NEEDED to explain, but no words had come from his open mouth. To him, Macaque was no longer an enemy. How odd.
"Ma... Macaque? Is... Is that really you? Oh, it's so good to..to see you again!..." Wukong stuttered and stared up at his 'friend' with eyes as big as saucers. It was almost disturbing.
Slowly, his infected arm reached out to grab at him, but Macaque quickly moved away. He was almost frozen in shock, but it didn't stop his reflexes.
"Do not come any closer." Macaque stared back, summoning his staff with a wave of his hand and holding it with a deathly grip.
His mind worked frantically to assess the situation. Wukong has dilated pupils, pale skin...a weird... ink substance covering him? A change in personality?
It was simply too much for him to handle, so before Wukong could do anything more, he snapped his fingers for dramatic effect and went through a shadow portal, directly to where he'd last seen MK; Pigsy's Noodles.
...
"I need to tell you something, kid."
MK stared at Macaque with wide eyes, curiosity written across his face. "Huh? What is it?"
"It's...It's Monkey King."
MK's expression shifted from surprise to concern. "Monkey King? Is he okay?"
Macaque's jaw clenched. "He's not."
"Wh-what's wrong? Where is he? Is he hurt?" MK fired questions at Macaque, his voice growing increasingly frantic.
Macaque sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Kid, please calm down." He paused, taking a deep breath. "He's...He's sick, I guess. Some kind of curse, or something."
"Sick!?" MK exclaimed, his eyes widening. "Is it serious?"
Macaque nodded, his expression grim. "Yeah, it's serious. Look, I can't really explain it all right now, but-"
"Take me to him." MK's voice was firm, his expression determined.
"What?" Macaque stared at MK, confused.
"I'm serious. Take me to him."
Macaque hesitated. "Kid, are you sure? I mean, this is pretty dangerous."
"Yes, I'm sure," MK said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Macaque sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Okay, fine. But if things go south, I'm taking you out of there. Deal?"
"Deal."
"Okay, follow me."
Without another word, Macaque led the way, with MK following close behind.
The two walked in silence, the only sound being the occasional creak of the floorboards. The dojo was eerily quiet, the atmosphere heavy with tension.
As they reached the dojo, Macaque paused, glancing back at MK.
"Stay behind me. And whatever happens, don't make any sudden moves. Got it?"
"Got it."
Macaque turned the knob and opened the door, his body tense with anticipation.
Inside, the dojo was shrouded in darkness. Only a single beam of moonlight filtered in through a crack in the window, casting a faint glow over the empty room.
Macaque's gaze scanned the shadows, searching for any sign of Wukong. But as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, a chill ran down his spine.
There, huddled in the corner, was a shadowy figure, the outline of a familiar coattail barely visible in the dim light.
Macaque took a tentative step forward, his eyes narrowing. "Wukong?" he called out, his voice barely above a whisper.
No response.
He took another step, his body taut with anticipation. "Wukong, are you there?"
Silence.
Macaque's grip tightened on his staff, his senses heightened. Another step. And another. Closer. Closer...
Finally, the shadowy figure turned to face him, its features obscured by the darkness.
Macaque froze, his breath catching in his throat. It was Wukong, alright. His normally vibrant fur was now dull and matted, his eyes glazed over with a milky film. But most unsettling was the way he stared at Macaque, his expression unreadable.
Macaque could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, the feeling of dread pooling in the pit of his stomach.
"Wukong?" he repeated, his voice shaking slightly.
Wukong didn't answer, his gaze remaining fixed on Macaque.
Macaque took a deep breath, steeling his nerves. Slowly, he approached Wukong, his staff raised in defense.
As he got closer, the scent of the ink became stronger. It was an awful smell, one that reminded him of something, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
Then, without warning, Wukong lunged at him, his movements jerky and uncoordinated. Macaque narrowly dodged the attack, leaping out of the way.
"Kid, get out of here, now! Don't worry about me, I've dealt with stuff like this before."
MK shook his head defiantly, his confidence blurring the lines of rationality and pure stupidity. "No! What if... What if Monkey King needs us?! Needs me? I can't leave him, no matter what!"
Macaque stared at him incredulously. "Kid, you're insane. Get the hell out of here before he hurts you, too."
"I can't just leave you guys behind, especially Monkey King! I'll do whatever it takes to help him!"
"Ugh, you're as stubborn as he is. Fine, but don't blame me if you get hurt."
"I can handle myself, thank you very much," MK retorted, trying to keep his tone light. But the gravity of the situation was weighing heavily on his shoulders.
Macaque scoffed, turning his attention back to Wukong.
The simian's movements were erratic, his body twisted and contorted as he tried to attack. But Macaque's reflexes were fast, and he dodged each strike with ease. MK watched in awe, his eyes wide.
The two kept fighting for a while, Macaque trying his best not to get splashed with any ink, until Wukong finally noticed MK, which was just standing there, and immediately stopped.
"MK?"
"Wait, MK, watch out-"
Too late.
